I love that Janus has a cane: a tool long used for support and guiding. Self care and guiding the others, sometimes physically pulling and moving them with it. I see the shepherd metaphor quite plainly as well

Sanders Sides but their Emotions affect their Forms and stuff and so at some point they're all just falling apart and it's very clear

Roman is so scared of that "Perfect Heroic Mask" he wears cracking and revealing just how insecure he is and how weak he feels after SvS Redux, that one day he wakes up and there's cracks in his face and arms that resemble peeling paint.

Virgil is terrified of being perceived as scary and unwanted and dangerous after he admits to being a Dark Side to Thomas, and one day he realizes he has fangs because he feels like he's a Monster.

Logan feels so unseen and ignored by the others, especially after his outburst in the "Orange Incident" (and it not even working) that one day he becomes invisible and inaudible to all of the other sides.

Janus feels like Thomas and the others will never actually listen to his point of view if it's him speaking without using another person's tactics, and then he suddenly can't control when he changes form or who he looks like, but all he knows is that he change back into himself.

Patton feels so bad about trying so hard to be in the driver's seat and feels like he only gets in the way of the others and Thomas, so he suddenly begins growing in size in response.

Remus, meanwhile, is getting tired of all of his contributions getting shot down no matter the context, and so he begins to sporadically shrink because he feels undervalued.

At some point, it takes all of them reflecting on how they feel and actually communicating with each other for them to return to normal, and altogether move forward with new perspectives and a new understanding of each other.

Thinking about the sides as a found family. Thinking about how they’re inextricably connected because Thomas is their world and they do everything for his benefit and thinking about how much they love him and always want the best for him. Thinking about how they’re always growing closer to each other because of it. Thinking about how in the end they’re all six parts of a whole, six planets orbiting the same star.

Janus shape-shifts and can accurately look like any of the other sides (technically so can the others, but janus does it the most)

Remus can conjure pretty much anything, even replicas of living people (again, roman can do this too, but remus does it more)

Do you think remus ever asked janus to look like roman for a little while so he can pretend he's with his brother?

Has janus ever asked remus to conjure a fake virgil so it feels like their former friend is still with them?

Switched roles au (sort of)

This is art for my fic called Switched! Roman and Virgil switch roles and have to figure out how to do the other's job.

Roman is absolutely not having a good time with this. He feels awkward and sick almost all the time. But Virgil is enjoying himself quite a bit. He's so pretty :) he made his outfit himself and is quite proud of his cloak.

They're starting to enjoy the other's company ;)

This took me about 6 hour to draw (and at least an hour was dedicated to figuring out how to do the stars). Krita is NOT my preferred program to use but hey, it is free.

"Angsty anxiety medication fic" this, "Virgil is dying" that, no. I want to see an Anxiety Medication fanfic where Virgil spends the entire time high as a kite and living his best life. Like 3 edibles, Thomas from Accepting Anxiety Part 1 levels of not giving a fuck, causing chaos and then taking a 12 hour nap until Thomas' body gets used to the meds.

Sometimes, on a dark and stormy night, roman will hear something scratching and shuffling under his bed, but when he shines a light to look all he sees is a pair of eyes staring back.

Other nights, when the whole world is dead silent, he'll feel a cold, clammy hand come up and hold onto his hand when he lets it drape down over the bed, but it let's go if he ever tries to look at it.

Roman is convinced there's a monster under his bed and remus lets him believe it, mostly because he doesn't know how to tell him that he sneaks into romans room to feel safe after bad dreams.
