25.3.

I'm 40. damn bro.

I finished Mark's book about not giving a fuck and it was really good.

there was a part about death that i found most intriguing, saying that if death is inevitable you might as well live until it comes. which is true and something i've been struggling with since my mom died.

Idk now if I said it in the last post but I also finished Dan's book and it was so helpful, I really wish I could force my teens to read it. (lovingly)

i'm now listening to "because internet" which is a fun linguistic study of internet language.

today i finally made crepes on the crepe maker E gave me ages ago. depression had a hold on me so i couldn't try it for ages but finally i'm there! i need to buy milk and mineral water for good pancakes but the experiment was a success!

in pogo news, I did groudon and kyogre raids and ... got nothing special :D but raiding was fun :D annoying tho that it's obvious you just can't have certain pokemon on certain levels. i played with my secondary, much lower account, and it just wouldn't let me catch groudon, even tho i won 3 raids for it. boo.

This weekend was Intense.

On friday i had my korean lesson and then met up with F for Zone of Interest. It was a great movie, I was immersed in it to the point that I kinda forgot it wasn't present. I also couldn't help but draw parallels to gaza but apparently I'm not allowed to talk about that.

Satuday was raid day and then Sunday I went to the protest. This time I got a flag and I made it all the way to the end of the protest! (minus the dancing, i went home for that :D ) it was ok despite my horrific anxiety making my back hurt and some details I didn't like (a guy spilled a bag of flour to prove some point but like... why are you spilling food while pointing out people are staving pls.) it was quite interesting how I spent most of the day today trying to see myself in pics and vids of the protest and only found ONE pic. soothes my anxiety a little, knowing i'm invisible :D

i've been following exercises from here and i've been increasing the number and length, i'm pleased! My flat is currently fairly clean and things are mostly in their place. yay mental health? and on the note of mental health i'm working on my fic again slowly too.

I did end up buying all the currently published Mo Dao Zu Shi comics :D which is 5 :D oh well! I'm also going to get a in person local Korean teacher. It'll cost a bit but it's fine I hope. Meanwhile I tested spotify and i don't like it. the organization is sadly a mess. the main feature i miss is the ability to see all songs by an artist. without that, their whole app is useless to me. I watched cooking crush and it's a really good show, I recommend it to all my friends now :D even tho the asian parent thing... it's not for me. i'm too chill toward my family even for my culture.

I got tickets for a musical in april, which i'll see with a student. (and another student is in the musical!)

had some good talks with my therapist, mainly about whether or not i care about being fat. i combined this with a chapter from mark's book, and it's quite simple i think. do i care? somewhat. certainly some mobility is not as it should be and i def want to fix that part. but a lot of my feelings about my own body are from outside. and he talks about how wanting to be something isn't the same as wanting to do the work for it, and that's basically it. would i like to be skinny? sure. am i willing to do the work for it? ... not? really? at least not now.

anyway exams are approaching, the end of this career is approaching. i'm chewing on that but so far i haven't reached anything specific. i need to write an email to the company i'm gonna ask for help, so this is my reminder to do that tomorrow :D

"Skeppy will probably cry" "Bad will probably cry". Bish, screw, that I am crying!!!

This whole thing was bloody gorgeous and I wasn't expecting that ending. I had no clue what ending to expect but that was definitely better than any I could have hoped for. Forest spirit to soulmate your honour!

I was terrified that you were gonna leave it at the point where he loses the spirit and becomes mortal again. If you had I would be actively sobbing!!!! And oh my god, the art!!! I still can't get over how wonderful your style is.

Imma ask fun things because if I don't I'll sit in a puddle of emotion all night:

What's the first tech thing Bad will buy and how annoying will he be about it? Poor Skeppy trying to answer 101 questions about something he doesn't really use XD.

Is no one concerned that the odd couple from a town they never name has a pet wolf??

Do they immediately go over to a different town or do they wander for a while. Find hidden creeks and befriend bears?

Does Bad still have a connection to nature and animals, like are creatures naturally more trusting of him?

Do they ever visit the og town again?

Does Skeppy still cause absolute chaos in other towns or has he learnt his lesson and only causes minor trouble now?

Does Bad ever try and study again? If he did what would he study and would Skeppy try to study as well?

Does Skeppy steal? I dunno, he just give off the vibe of a naughty lil trickster who'll pocket something if the owner refuses to sell it him.

Immediately after leaving the forest what the first 'argument' they have (not including the car one)?

Would they ever ride horse? If yes, how terrified would Skeppy be?

Skeppy falls outta tree. I don't know why but my mind keeps telling me that this man has great balance until he climbs trees. They are his mortal enemy and Bad finds this both hilarious and terrifying because he is going to hurt himself.

I had waaaaay more questions than I intended to have. My bad '^_^ but this story was way too much fun to read and you are entirely to blame for making it so engaging!

Make sure to take care of yourself and do stretches after and during drawing. You don't wanna hurt yourself <3

AaaaI’m so glad you liked it! :D And, dang, man, I cried while writing that part too :D

And I promised a nice ending for the main story, I did, and this one also makes the most sense narratively! For the story I wanted to tell, at least. Bad can’t really become human again, he’s changed to much. He can only move on, and do something with what he is, and has. And he did! :D That’s really nice and inspiring, this story will always have a place in my heart, heheh <3

Being a guardian spirit connected to a person and all, Bad may be not as strong as before, but he can’t die unless Skeppy dies first. And Skeppy can do that, but he’s pretty sturdy, and his lifespan operates on a whole other scale than human ones. And Bad knowing Skeppy’s real name balances it all out, makes them equal in the power and influence they have over each other.

So hellyeah, soulmates for the win :DDD

I’ll answer all questions under the cut, and this close up from one of the pages!

1) What's the first tech thing Bad will buy and how annoying will he be about it?

Probably a pager! Because it’s a more feasible thing to get than a wholeass computer Bad actually wanted :D An it means Skeppy will have to get one too, and that Bad will be having the time of his life texting him and everyone he can get a number from, even if they’re still in the room with him.

Poor Skeppy indeed, he can learn to appreciate the pagers, and later phones, too, and computers, but he really has 0 idea on how it all works and why Bad is so fascinated by it all.

2) Rat and regular people

Oh, she can shapeshift, just like Bad! If they’re out with people around, she takes form of a puppy, and Bad can pass her off as a weird mix breed rescue doggo.

3) Do they immediately go over to a different town or do they wander for a while?

Oh, since they have no end destination in mind, they can ride around for a bit, go visit some cool places and roadside attractions. Sadly, Skeppy is probably not spiritually or morally ready to full on befriend wild bears yet, and they do need money for gas and snacks. So, at some point they will have to stop somewhere and find work – at least for a bit, to save up. Life’s gonna be a bit complicated with all that, until Skeppy figures out his treasure-finding abilities :DD

4) Bad and nature and animals

He is definitely still in tune with all wildlife! Even more – Bad could become a proper guardian spirit for Skeppy in part because, in a way, Skeppy himself is part of the nature.

So yeah, Bad can understand animals (and plants) and communicate with them; they’re just more free to not take his shit, and Bad’s emotions do not “possess” them unless he makes an effort to do so.

He doesn’t like doing it, tho.

5) Do they ever visit the og town again?

Hm, I think they will completely forget about it for a while, until, like, 30+ years later they will be going somewhere, and find themselves around those parts. And they try to not appear too often in the areas they’ve spent a lot of time in already (they can be pretty recognizable, and also barely show signs of aging). But it’s been a long time, and the town’s really different now… So they make a stop, and spend a day there. They walk the unfamiliar streets between the new buildings, check out the popular hiking trail, the advertisements for hot springs and winter activities. The old cinema is still there, and is hosting an all-night marathon of classic horror movies of the last century.

Bad and Skeppy leave the town after sunset – the day was nice, but they have nothing more to do there. They ride through the forest on a well paved road, with radio playing something barely above the whisper. And in the dark of hot summer night, Bad can see the white stag running between the trees alongside their car. Shadows dance over the shimmering light of it’s fur.

Somewhere after the towns border, the stag disappears back in the forest. But the air in the car stays light and fresh, saving the smell of old pines and dry leaves all though the night.

6) Skeppy and chaos

Well, after the whole mess in the main story, Skeppy definitely learned some lessons, especially about not being a dick :D

But the thing is – he can’t really help the fact that things tend to stir up around him a lot. He naturally brings in chaos into everything, because he is, in part, a personification, or an outlet for it in the world. And so, to feel, well and good, and himself Skeppy gotta do stuff that disrupts balance, and creates some mayhem. And in gave him a lot of trouble in early life, but in the course of the main story he learned that he can chose were he lets that chaos to take hold, learned what can come of that chaos, apart from utter misery.

Like, where it can help dismantle something destructive, and where – bring in the more positive change, that was already brewing, possible, but is stagnant for some reason.

Soooo, I can’t say Skeppy causes only minor chaos in his life, but he sure learns even more about not being a dick :DDDD

7) The studying

I think Bad will want to get a higher education at some point, because he wanted to, and because it’s already new millennia and all that. Bet he’ll go for something very technical and/or literature. Maybe he’ll start by piking up some classes in small time colleges, when they stop in one place for a while, and later get into an online program, because why not.

Skeppy is not a college guy at all. He’ll listen to Bad talk about it, read textbooks if he wants to, can research stuff, buuut going to classes and doing homework is definitely not his thing.

8) Stealing

Well, you’re right, Skeppy can and will steal stuff out of spite! And will be scolded by Bad for it, and will not feel (that) sorry about it. But real stealer between them will be Bad himself :D

It’s just… he has the corvid tendencies, and a hoard (a box) of sentimental mementos from different people and events, and the thrill of stealing something small and harmless is very exciting. Bad is very proud of his little collection. Skeppy finds it very adorable, a bit hypocritical, and kinda creepy. Like, that pretty box he gifted Bad at some point is now full of stuff like:

- pressed flower from the clearing they had a picnic at on their anniversary

- the button the waitress lost that one day the storm caused a black out in the whole town

- some small animal bones

- couple pretty rocks Bad stole from Skeppy’s pockets

- penny that was once glued to the ground

- a handful of teeth people (and not people) lost in fights with Bad

- pen from some fancy hotel

- rainbow dash keychain that belonged to a child

- the list goes on

9) Argument

Oh, that same day they’ll fight over whether they should stay at the really crappy and suspicious looking motel, or go sleep in a perfectly fine forest near the road. Ironically, Bad wanted to try out the motel (because, yay, first time spending the night back in civilization), and Skeppy was the one insisting on sleeping in nature (because the motel looks like it could give you 10 diseases if you even stand near it, and sleeping in the forest is kind of nice, and means they can cuddle).

10) Horses

The guys will probably ride them at some point. Well, Bad will ride, and Skeppy will sit on his horse and hope it knows what to do and where to go, because trying to make this giant thing do something seems dangerous. If they’ll have to actually go somewhere fast, Skeppy will not survive that day, his butt (and legs) will be dead for days to come.

And riding with Bad on one horse may sound romantic and nice, but all romance dies when the gallop starts.

11) Skeppy and climbing

Skeppy is more down to earth kind of guy, more of a “rocks and caves” kind of creature, real-life lizard person or something. Up on the trees and in the air – not really his element, yeah. But it doesn’t mean that Skeppy will accept this fact easy. The embarrassment of never managing to safely make it down a tree is too strong, he just has to do it all over again, and again. And again. Because, clearly, he was distracted this time. And the time before that Bad was teasing him, and it “disrupted his flow”. And, really, maybe these trees here just do not like Skeppy much, and make him slip a lot. Yeah.

So, more often than not, if Skeppy climbs a tree, he will not stop climbing it until he falls, or the tree ends. Bad had to take him off high branches couple times, forcefully, because, of course, Skeppy was sitting there for 2 hours just to properly enjoy the sunset. He can climb down at any point, he just Choses not to. The view is amazing. The bark is literally part of his skin now, not because he holds on tight, no, he’s just Than Much one with the nature )<

Washington - Jowelt had not given a decided answer - clearly made it out A- could neither buy nor build to make either pay - the licence ought to be worth £10 a year and Jowelt’s house be bought for £60 for A- to be paid - gave orders to Robert Mann - to move again the sets in readiness for making the main drift underneath where they were piled - off with Mr. Lister (he had been left by himself an hour) at 12 a shower had made us turn back for a few minutes - it rained a little at 12 but soon became fair and held up till 2 ½ when we came in just in time to escape a heavy shower - we had been had at the Lodge (he had asked which was the principal road to the house) - and then walked along the highroad and turned off along the fields at Mytholm mill to Dumb mill bridge, and thence up the cart road to Sowden’s - neither nor his wife at home - only his college son (Cambridge) and a daughter - shewed us over the house and outbuildings and the son shewed us the fields - Mr. Lister found all in good order and the estate better than he expected - I saw he thought of the rent bearing raising - I told him I thought he had best say nothing on the subject just now - Sowden had laid out a great deal of money on the house and kept all in good order, and paid his rent regularly - Mr. L- behaved very handsomely - left all to me - I said I would do the best I could - he mentioned his maternal grandmother being lately dead and having left his mother a little property which [make] them now more comfortable - he and his mother and sister (aetatis 21) lived together - had a nice house (n°13 Stockwell common) and he tho’ he had been in partnership and was sadly taken in (deceived) yet it had been an introduction to him - he wished to be at home again on Friday - could not be long absent - was going to Edinburgh - a friend waiting for him at Leeds - had come from London to Hull by the water witch steamer for 10/. - from Hull to Selby per steam and thence by railroad to Leeds - and to H-x this morning where he had just breakfasted coming here - did not expect to see me - heard at Hull I was from home - gone a week ago - told me there was a mortgage on the estate = £500 at 4p.c. the interest paid by themselves - should not live to sell their estate but not convenient at present to pay off the mortgage should it be called in (which he did not expect) told him to make himself quite easy about that - he might transfer the mortgage to me if necessary - mentioned about the fine - to wait till the next court day - said I was on the point of writing to his mother in answer to her letter on this subject - speaking of his family I explained why my great uncle the clergyman had left my grandfather the estate - that Thomas L- had ruined his brothers William and my grandfather and run away to avoid marrying here and done worse in America told all this gentlemanly - very civil and kind in my manner - set him at this ease, a poor fellow! he said how much he was obliged - and all he said was judicious - he is evidently steady and anxious to do well in life - thinks of graduating at the London college - on coming in at 2 ½ rook him in to my aunt - shewed him the family toll (pedigree) - he had luncheon at 3 and tho’ he had on his arrival accepted the invitation to dinner at 6, yet finding that I would excuse him, preferred going back to H-x and being off to Leeds by the 5 o’clock coach - A- pleased that I was pleased with him - we sat talking till 4 - then I had the

Rodgers and sons, Cutlers, Sheffield ppd’ and letter containing check for £13.5.0 being the amount of wine bill including hampers and bottles which I might perhaps return at sometime in which case I had no doubt Mr. Oldfield would make the deduction letter containing check for £13.5.0 to ‘William Oldfield Esquire York’ - not paid - dinner at 6 20 - coffee - A- did her French - then from before 8 to 9 ¾ looking over A-‘s Hall houses and spa house deeds respecting Mr. Drake’s right of road - SW- told us this morning he was giving Samuel Holdsworth leave to pull up coal in the bit of ground reserved to him (Mr. D-) and a right of roading this bit of coal and more - my impression is that D- has no right to convey such a privilege - with my aunt (A- and I) from 9 ¾ to 10 ¼ at which hour F50° - fair but dull day till a shower between 11 and 12, and heavy shower at 2 ½ for about ½ hour afterwards fair afternoon and evening - note tonight from the Secretary to the new Dispensary - the subscriptions to be paid on or before 1 July next - wrote all the above of today till 11 5 pm.

Damn, our boy Sora grew up so much in KH3 tho :'( People will complain about Sokai but I think his slow realization that he loves Kairi was beautiful. When you have a childhood friend that you kind of have a crush on like that, it's pretty difficult to sift through your confusing feelings. Our boy finally figured it out and he's going to do all he can to finally be with her :') I'd be surprised if he doesn't make the first move when they're finally reunited.

It is!! First of all I want to give a shoutout to @phoenix-downer and her two amazing analysis posts because they and our discussions in general are what made me appreciate the Sokai scenes as much as I do now!

I also think I understand why Nomura made the build up to Sokai so awkward - or non-existing. You’re right, the scenes in themselves are absolutely beautiful and intense, they just don’t really get to shine in between all of the action (well, the realization during their revival does, the paopu scene not so much sadly).

Remember this?

“For example, I’m sure you had friends when you were young, a good group of friends, but as you grow older things change and it doesn’t always stay the same.”

Phoenix already touched upon this for the papopu scene, but I feel like Nomura wanted this to be an overarching plot point. It hurt the overall narrative because we had this touched upon as early as KH1, but since Square wanted KH3 to be understandable without necessarily playing the other games, they restructured the entire love plot. They let Sora claim he knows nothing about love (which can be true to an extend - he is 15 and he likes Kairi, he doesn’t necessarily put the word love to his crush and affection), but they also let him see Herc and Meg, Rapunzel and Eugene, Will and Elizabeth.

But then Kairi offers to share the paopu - something Sora originally initiated with the cave drawing. Looking at that scene again and again I started appreciating that Sora seems to hesitate. I mean, Kairi had probably thought about this long and well and Sora is just being thrown into this - and he has to decide whether to commit or not. He’s 15/16 (who even knows at this point smh) years old - that’s quite a serious thing to consider when you like somebody but claim you know nothing about love yet. How can you make this kind of choice if you feel like you still have to learn so much about love?

And yet, Sora decides that it’s worth it. He decides that yes, Kairi is important enough to him to share a fruit with her, even if he doesn’t know love yet. She’s important enough to protect with all his power, everything he can possibly do - especially since her sharing the paopu with him means she is willing to do the same to him.

After they exchanged the fruit, Sora’s body language completely changes. Gone is the nervous, hesitant boy, he is now happy, even relieved that he did this.

And from that moment on, the entire narrative focuses on Kairi as Sora’s most valued and precious person. Now, that doesn’t mean that the others don’t mean anything, Sora has such a huge heart, he can love endlessly, but the love for Kairi is clearly a little different from his love for R*ku or his love for Donald and Goofy. That’s why he goes as far to shield Kairi with only his body (I see that foreshadowing, KH3 Opening D: ).

And then when she saves him? Again, for some stupid reason, Sora thinks of R*ku, because the theme is that he looks up to the person who literally guided him through most of his life, who told him to hold on just a short while ago. But in a neat parallel to KH1, it turns out Kairi saved him. And Sora is overjoyed to see her, interlaces his fingers with her even, something that we haven’t seen between any of the characters yet. He is happy, grateful and he flirts with Kairi, being absolutely delighted of the fact that he made her blush.

Then it hits him. This was her act of true love. And we see another side of Sora

This is such a different smile for him. It’s not carefree and open as the one before when he was delighted. He doesn’t close his eyes because he smiles as big. But still, this is a strangely mature look on Sora - like he realized what all of this meant.

This is true love and he realizes it. And he cherishes it. He finally found the same kind of magic that Rapunzel and Eugene share. He who didn’t understand love suddenly did.

And he showed it to the whole world by not letting go of Kairi’s hand until after everyone has already seen that they’re an official item now.

KH3 could have done it better, absolutely.

Was it done badly though? The Sokai itself wasn’t, because if you look at these scenes in isolation, they are incredible. They just don’t get to shine because they disappear among many other high action cutscenes.

And let us never forget the most intimate and sensual handhold Disney ever gave us:

Hahaha sorry I totally went off topic here only to gush about these dorks XDD But I agree - I genuinely hope Sora will be the one who makes the first step now.

He made the first step by drawing the paopu, then Kairi made steps by wanting to be together every day and articulating this as well as sharing the paopu with Sora and reaching for his hand. It’s about time Sora takes a step again - and seeing how confident he now seems with Kairi, I genuinely hope he will.

IT'S A SAD FRECKLE BOY BOI (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Hahaha guess who started and finished this in one day? this girl did! and dang am I happy with it! Been wanting to draw a colour palette again ever since I finished the one I took requests for a couple of months back, and today instead of working on the things I was supposed to I went and made this and fuck it was so much fun! I srs love colouring like this and it turned out so darn good too :D

I tried to base the picture of the palette name, so the idea is that he has been crying for some reason and is now calmed down after some smoking, still slightly teary eyed and now he just feels hollow, just empty and done with it all

I am so happy with the colours, especially on his face, the hoodie and the background, the background the most because it looks slightly like spillt oil like you know from a car that you find on the road, which was completely on accident and sadly the smoke from the cigarette is blocking the best part of it, I was going to do more with the background but ended up liking it so much that I didn’t do anything more to it, his hand is a little bit iffy looks a bit weird and the bones on his glove ended up a bit too big, really like how i coloured the darker colour on the glove tho, i regret a tiny bit that i didn’t draw the other arm properly, but that’s where the sketch of this ended so didn’t end up fixing it and stuff, not overly happy with the smoke but it works, had so much fun with his face tho because I coloured some of the lines in different colours and his freckles goes from dark to brighter if you look closely, he also got tears in his eyes which are barely visible which frustrated me for a bit as I wanted them more visible but just couldn’t so gave up on it, I also wasn’t sure if I liked the slightly green lines on his face but in the end it turned out pretty good, still really fucking happy and so proud of myself with this i so should do these more often because they like always end up looking so good!

The palette is from a palette named “AskTheStarGazers palette challenge” which I sadly can’t find a link to even though I tried, and I think I will prolly end up doing the rest of the palettes sometime when the mood strikes me, because it sure is just so nice and chill to do yes <:

oh... i didn't know it was bad land :( here in the Netherlands it's getting more and more common to share land, especially if it's big. (Farms, forest houses etc etc.) So i thought that was a thing across the world- since i have never known any different. Wich is also another reason why you are so nice to talk to! I get to learn more about the world! :D

Aha and who is Abzu falling for...? Doesn't matter, its not really my business but if you'd like to share i will be happy to listen :D Also i gave galaxy Brainrot by saying MA2 isn't my friend and now I'm too scared to explain i fell head over heels for them. Yeah uhh oops

So I'm not home yet wich explains why no gremlin collection yet. BUT i found a really pretty rock to add to the pile! I think i will be home in... 1 and a half hours? I think?

About transferring. I can't transfer mid-year sadly so i need to wait until next year to even try getting into the school- Also sadly that was the school i went to last year, so some know my with my deadname. But also i 100% agree that introduceing yourself with a new name is the best- I just did and now I'm just HFHRHS !!! best feeling ever!! Except that one feeling of satisfaction when you perfectly draw the second eye- Us artists really like doing things correct first try

Also a little project i have been working on that i wanted to share: I'm collecting the lids of cans! I glued 4 together and now i just make a little opening on the new one and put it on like it's a key hanger! Until i have four on, then glue again and repeat until i have a necklace! Or keychain. Or whatever i want it to be! :D

Yeah- stolen land is sorta a big issue here- mining corps are especially big offenders now days for forcing people off of their country & destroying the land. It is just really infuriating to see & it should honestly be illegal >:/ but not while our economy is blustered by mining & our government is lobbied by them I suppose.

My submissions: For my first one, I wanted to have a pun, but I lack the ability to make puns. So I decided to just have sam on it. The original was kinda bright and hurting my eyes, so I turned down the green a bit and it looks much better. Sad it didn’t win, though. In my second one, I wanted something with a bit more PMA, so I added PMA in different colors, four times. The original idea was three times, with a septic sam below, but it didn’t work. I had a feeling the second one wasn’t gonna win, but I submitted it just to be sure.

thetwin125: Yours is bright. Pretty bright. I kinda like it though, it’s like it’s glowing in the dark kinda! Congratz on winning! I actually drew yours second, right after mine. Thank you for confirming it was yours, the name was vague in mind forgetful mind.

Unknown Row 1 Submission: Yours is pretty cool! It’s the only sweater in the bunch of T-Shirts and Hoodies, making it the most unique! I like the smile with sam as an eye, but I kinda had a feeling it would be too hard to turn into a sprite, sadly. But remember what the sweater says, PMA! d-structive: Yours is pretty interesting! I didn’t think it would be something Cliff would wear, though. The black outline for the PMA and the stripes are so frustrating to do in MS Paint, but I did it! If that hoodie were to actually exist, I might wear it!

polk-a-dop: I like yours, with the big sam and the 3d-ish PMA! It was really frustrating to do the PMA part, but it worked in the end! I wish I had more to say about yours, except better luck next time. At least we’re in the gallery!

pollyanna94: I really like the use of Sam as the P in PMA! Other than that, it’s a little bland, no offense. I also like the color you chose for the shirt, but I believe the mods said nothing mostly blue, as it’s Jack’s color, so I believe that prevented it from being chosen.

glo-stickz: Yours is pretty interesting! I like the sam on the shoulder, and the way you did the hoodie strings. The way you draw hoodie pockets is cool too! But I think you could use at least a few drawing lessons, maybe sometime I can give you some tips? I don’t mean that in a mean way! It’s still great!

splish-splash-im-trash: Yours is pretty unique! It’s a little too complicated for a sprite, though. Also, Cliff is kinda a laid-back ish character, I don’t think he’d wear something like that. And it took me so many tries to draw the jack on the shirt that I just gave up and decided to Ctrl + c and Ctrl + v. It’s still cool tho!

The green w/ red letters would look better as a hoodie, and I think if you tweaked the shade of green a bit it would look AWESOME! As for the gray one, I think it would just look better as a hoodie. But otherwise, yours are really cool!

geekygirl0816: SO. AWESOME. I reeeeeaaaally like the shiny, puffy PMA! I think this would’ve looked cooler as a hoodie, if i’m to be honest. I would’ve drawn it that way, but I wanted to keep it as a shirt because that’s how you did it, not me. This one is definitely up high on the results list despite it not being shown!

purrsiacat: I like the way Sam is next to the M! I realize now that Sam’s tail isn’t drawn right, but thats ok rite? I had to improvise on color because the fact that you didn’t take a good picture of it, so the color picker didn’t work out.

emymodaboss: Yours is interesting! Too bad I couldn’t make it look exactly like the image, because I *think* it has a gradient to it. It’s still really nice!

jennylagar: Congratz on runner-up! To be honest, I really thought yours would win, seriously! That’s DEFINITELY something Cliff would wear, too bad he won’t be in the majority of the game. If I knew how to mod games, i’d make your design the sprite for the game!

pkvandy: Thank you for letting me know it was you, and what color changes to make! I hope I got it right! I already told you this I think, but it was so frustrating to draw it! It took SO MANY TRIES. I’m not trying to be mean, but I didn’t think yours would win, because of how complicated it is. I have a feeling it at least did better than mine, though.

1) I must say I live for your reviews. I love them. Mainly because I always agree with you. I like your idea of heroes eventually using the amulet on Gothel in the need of saving Rogers' life. And I would like Rumple to be involved in this too, bc I live for Rumple-Hook or Colin-Robert and I'd love to see Rumple's end somehow guaranteeing KnightRook's happiness. I liked the episode as the whole, but there are some things I can't get over. I've never liked Zelena,

I love how I kept reading the parts, and was nodding at them and thinking of stuff to write as a response, and then at the end I see your nickname and was, oh, the Traveler Flutist! Welcome back! I missed you

I’ll put the parts separately here so it’s clearer what I’m talking about ;)

Thank you so much! My reviews are mostly me babbling about everything I have things to say about the episodes, so I’m happy when people like them and want to discuss them with me!

I think it would be just if Gothel died to save someone else… and not entirely on her own will. She’s not just a villain, she’s a bad person overall and hasn’t done one single good thing for as long as we know her. She’s willing to sacrifice innocent people’s lives for her cause - said cause is also bad - so I think her comeuppance could be something related to that.

I have to admit that though I was one of the biggest fans of the Gold/Hook foetp… I’m not that excited over most of their interactions this season. Perhaps it’s because they haven’t had the chance to actually have an emotional relationship - I mean, I loved/hated it when Weaver made a jab at Rogers’ disability in 7x02, I loved it when Rogers was so angry at Weaver that he pushed him against a wall, I even liked it when Weaver admitted to him that he wants to be reunited with his wife, but scenes that have no emotional impact, like the ones in 7x11… I mean, look at 2x11. Gold and Hook being absolutely furious at each other, shouting, fighting… okay that was Gold kicking Hook’s ass but still - and now having mundane scenes where the characters are just doing exposition is a bit of a downer for me :/ But I hope we get some more development… they ought to show us why Alice stayed with Rumpelstiltskin, and how Killian grew to be ok with that despite their past.

I just had the thought that since the Guardian is supposed to be a person who would sacrifice their own happiness for someone else’s… perhaps that’s exactly what the Dark One needs to do for them. If Alice is the Guardian of course, that would mean that if Killian dies then Rumpelstiltskin would exchange his life for his… plus I haven’t forgotten that the reason he is still a Dark One is because he took advantage of OG Killian’s sacrifice, so it would be meaningful if he died protecting/saving the other Killian :P

I’ve never liked Zelena, but this season she seems better to me. However I can’t enjoy her ‘Nook’, bc of the way it was used.

Yeah, as I said, I’m mostly annoyed by how they tried to redeem her. I liked her as a villain, and I’m okay with her now, but the transition from one place to the other was… pretty bad for me. I have the feeling that the nickname “Nook” rose to have very differing opinions among the fandom, some of which come from places that are very hateful towards Hook and, well, I don’t even wanna know. I mean, I hate the “handless wonder” remark but there are Hookers who loved it, so…

Like you said, the others never seem to appreciate nor acknowledge Killian’s intelligence. Instead they are always mocking him. Do others have a problem? Sure, Killian Jones is instantly here for them, even if it means he’s gonna lose something of his own happiness. But now,when they all know about his problem, if they actually address it, it’s just dull words like ‘You will find the solution.’ I know it’s plot and they’re dragging all this plot till the end of the series, but c'mon. Also Killian Jones is a punching bag for almost everybody. I’ve never seen any character being treated like that all the time. I mean yes, I like it, but it’s only bc Colin does angst and pain SOOO believable. Hook goes through so much pain physically and psychically, but others hardly ever notice. They’ve never noticed. It breaks my heart.

After all those years, every time I rewatch 3x20 and this moment comes up:

David: At the very least, he can draw fire.Killian: What, now I’m cannon fodder?

I smile sadly because I’m like, “Yup. And for all seasons after that.” You know, I don’t really mind that he does go through all that (as you said, Colin does an excellent job acting it)… I mind that the writers fail to recognize that this kind of abuse has consequences on its victims. One can’t walk out of a torture session and be all la-di-da-di-da afterwards. Not even torturers themselves. And it’s not only Killian, but I feel like he’s the one shown to be going through the worst.

To be perfectly honest, one reason I love Wish Hook is because I don’t have to pretend that the Underworld torture never happened, like I did with OG Hook, since they never gave him any chance to actually react to it. Wish Hook’ was obviously hurt by being separated from Alice, and we get to see his hurt from that, even through Rogers.

And yeah, I too understand it’s because of plot they’re dragging out Killian finding a cure for his poisoned heart, it’s not the first time they dragged out something that crucial… but it’s so sad to see all that. It’s favouring the plot over the characters, and it’s making them look stupid.

This season is good, really, but it’s always been plot over characters, but damn, there’s so much packed in one episode now. Like way too much plot. In the beggining they set up Rogers-Henry-Roni team up and where did it lead? Also I think even tho Andrew is suppossed to be ‘the leader’ and he is so perfect as Henry, he is awfully underused. Also that Rapunzel ending scene was awful. And the dialogue between my faves Rogers and Weaver too. 'Are you okay?’ and then Weaver’s statement of obvious 'She is dead. ’ Like… really?

Oh, boy, that set-up. Those writers clearly don’t know shit about setting something up. They’ll spend the beginning of the season/half-season setting something, as if it’s important and wow!, and then they’ll just turn it around and at the end they’ll present something totally unrelated and they’ll pretend it’s a “plot twist!” instead of lazy writing… And it just drives me mad how Andrew is perfect for an adult Henry, but they’ve favoured plot and twists over that. Just so many missed opportunities.

Yeah, there were so many lines in 7x11 that were so awkward… but then again, it was written by A&E, and it’s been so long that I’ve truly enjoyed an episode written directly by them.

Enough of rant. Sorry it got a bit longer! I’ve been MIA for past two months bc life sometimes happens, but now I am back, a little thanks to your review too. Keep doing it, if you have the will and joy (and I hope you have)! And also pet your georgeus cat for me, Traveler Flutist! He is the best!

Best soon came then Norcliffe left the latter with them their carriage being ordered and off to Mariana at Mrs. Belcombe’s at 9 35/.. - went to her in her room above an hour with her tête-à-tête - Mrs. Milne in the next room came in undressed and gave me a hurried kiss and ran away - sent Mariana breakfast William Milne had had a good night -

𝝅 [Mariana] and I talked of one thing or other said how Mrs. Duffin had annoyed me yesterday talking of their jealousy of my influence she protested Mrs. D [Duffin] was a liar I ought not to believe a word she said she had long abominated her and said how disgusted she was with Tibs shocking grossness yesterday on saying L [Charles Lawton] was going to Paris Tib had wished π [Mariana] would take her with her up her arsehole and suchlike - π [Mariana] then went to the necessary and I walked in the garden in meantime she had asked Mrs. Milne if she would not come down and see me and said how she had run away Mrs. M [Milne] said she did not suppose I wished to see her what said π [Mariana] have you quarrelled no but we did not much like each other on this I said it was very foolish we had far better meet and get it over I then went up into her drawing room where were Steph and Anne and Mrs. Duffin and Miss. Greenup who had just come I shook hands with all then with Mrs. M [Milne] and recommended the shade of the mulberry tree in the garden and asked her to try it with me she refused at first then consented and down we went and sat half hour I saw she was nervous and I seemed to be rather so too I began by saying I had an apology to make for my foolish conduct the last time I saw her at Langton when we felt most we always acted most gauchely &c &c she had thought me very unkind and began to hate me and was quite determined I should never make her like me again I pleaded my not having dared to trust myself alone with her then said she you might have written one line to prove it was not unkindness I begged forgiveness she held out her hand and soon shewed that it was my fault if we did not flirt as much as ever she looked and said but you are quite altered and grown fine ah said I do not that tho I ought to hope it said I should even now to make my apology had I not been going away on tuesday I laughed and told her she was very agreeable -

Mrs. Duffin and Miss. Washington – Mrs. Walsh does not take in any part of the old road but there really are 1110 yards scale-hole – he agreed 6d. a yard for more than its worth – but said she asked 1/. – would advise I think my giving £30 for the whole – left him to do this – and left him much too his discretion but to say if we could not agree he was to take the wall down put up boundary stones after walling my own ground off at the low end, and leave her to make what she could of her land – if she takes £30, her son aet. 17 is to sign – tho’ legally of no use, his own handwriting will be valued with him as a man of principle – wished he might agree for £30 – told him to keep in his hands £100 for the museum and the rest for current expense there will be about £50 which he thought would be enough to pay Mrs. Walsh and all – so that there will be nothing to put into the bank – at 1st desired the £100 to be lodged in my name at Briggs’ – then changed this, but hinted at Mr. Rawsons’ indiscretion about the letter of credit and my not being pleased about it – did not say I would change my banker – but if I do SW- will not be surprised – Pickels wants 50/. for making the bit about Whiskam pond into land – he told me he thought it would be worth 40/. – I did not name this to SW- told him not to let the Hopwood lane fields under £14. - Gave him £6.16 to pay Kendell for the chiffonier - in my hurry gave him the full amount tho’ 7/. allowed for discount - the chiffonier arrived this afternoon and John and I took it out of the case - it is very nearly and suits the dark between the drawing rooms windows very well – wrote to Messrs. Delisle and co. and to Mr. Lister about the water level agreement – sent him Mr. Parkers’ copy of it – all settled at last – with these several interruptions at my accounts till 6 5 but brought down cashbook to the last payment belonging to it of today – that I can leave all those bills at home and settle private and travelling D. books at my leisure – I shall be sadly hurried – have all my papers to put up – dinner at 6 20 in 20 minutes and then packing writing box etc. till 9 ½ - then downstairs till off at 11 ½ - had to wait above ¼ hour at the Swan – mail full inside and out – John and I walked back again – back at 12 ½ and got into bed as fast as I could – great deal of heavy rain during the day but fine night after 8 p.m. – sent John at 7 p.m. with my letter to ‘Messrs. Delisle Janvrin and Delisle London post paid’ and with my letter to ‘John Lister Esquire Swansea Glamorgan line’ -

Vlad III || FATE/ GRAND ORDER | The Berserker version. While bro has troubles with Berserker I have troubles with his Fate/ Apocrypha incarnation. He is a little more susceptible to his own emotions and drive, which is enjoyable to showcase--playing with those inconsistencies . I love his struggle and lapse and how they treat the fictional affiliation like an affliction. Characters who fight identities, consequence and who they are, while maintaining what they have-- like memories and pride are engrossing. I love the differences/contrasts between the Vlads as a whole, but FGOVlad’s themes are among my favs to write. I like characters who are reflections of another. plus vampire shit is cool.........

Kairi Shishigou || FATE/ APOCRYPHA | @nebromancer for indie and @necryptoss over at Citta! Kairi is really refreshing as a character and I hope that the anime picks up appreciation for him. He’s a necromancer that uses his techniques for modern warfare rather than just raising the dead and his lax and preparedness stems from burying his issues deep inside himself that they might as well not exist. You don’t see it on the surface but when you read further in the story, its just.. he’s wonderfully rich and sad to explore. He’s a good dude...

Francis Drake || FATE/ EXTRA | @itsapirateswaifforme Technically hiatus right now until I’m finally happy with a new blog layout (sob) but I love her and hope that self-consciousness about picking her up away ebbs away soon. It was bro who first introduced me to fate/ with fate/ ZERO but Fate/EXTRA was something I got to play and ‘hold’ and progress through. She really solidified my descent into fate/ hell at her first appearance. She’s a wonderful ‘villain’ in that she exists to challenge and inspire those who ‘oppose’ her while having a big sister attitude. Her attitude is fun and set the bar for the rest of Extra.

Ventus || KINGDOM HEARTS; BIRTH BY SLEEP | One of my longest standing and longest lasting muses. I roleplayed him for many years. I roleplayed Sora for a while too and while they are both similar, Ven’s arc is great and fills in a lot to how Roxas looks! Whispers, doppelganger characters are so fun you have no idea. He’s forced to face his own darkness and suffers for it while seeing his ‘family’ torn apart. I stopped roleplaying him when the group’s mods decided to abandon the group and members did too.

Noctis & Gladious || FINAL FANTASY VERSUS XIII /XV | I roleplayed them before the name got changed tbh. Noctis was my main dude and i subbed Gladio since we didnt have one. With the little info available, we nailed the characters pretty well and had all sorta adventures.Playing the game (after all those years) gave me good memories.

Marluxia, Larxene, Zexion || KINGDOM HEARTS: CHAIN OF MEMORIES| PINK HAIRED VILLAIN? BABE? They were for forum rps and damned fun to do. I usually played Larxene just so i could go and stir things up because “everyone’s too nice”. Marluxia’s the big boss and a traitorous bastard. It grew hard hard to do anything with them longer than plot stuff because well.. if everyone’s forever nice IT GETS OLD REAL FAST AND YOU’RE JUST NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY. Zexion was a fall back. Quiet and pensive, with high senses. He was like really chill to rp with, but alas there’s no point if he doesnt have others to nitpick.

Various OCs | Not on tumblr| Tried once but i just couldnt stick with it. Did them more on dA which was fast and nice. I’d love to rp a few with others but it’s easier for me to headcanon/drabble/ talk about plots than rp them. Im picky..

Repliku (Riku Replica) || KINGDOM HEARTS: Chain of Memories. | Everyone hated him because he’s frustrating to fight but his arc is really sad and stuck with me. He suffers throughout the entire game with the idea that he’s better than the original and is easily broken and frustrated by everything. All of his memories are fake and he earnest tries to believe in them and protect Namine. It was messed up to play as a kid and his interactions with the Real Riku and how they pretty much’reset’ him hurt my heart. KH had a lot of doppelgangers that hurt me. :,,^)

Alucard || CASTLEVANIA: Symphony of the Night | That the’s dude’s real name is fucking... . Adrian Fahrenheit Ţepeş omg i love it. I knew about him as the eons passed but its not been like.. until the past year that I’’ve gotten into the Castlevania games and I liked Alucard’s morals and the base they gave him despite not much going on in plot until later games. Oh man tho, never forget his role is pretty much fighting through an entire castle to tell dad that “HEY ASSHOLE MOM LOVED YOU AND DIDNT WANT TO YOU hATE HUMANITY” just touches my heart.

Edison || FATE/GRAND ORDER | WHAT A HAM. AND BACKED BY THE POWER OF THE PRESIDENT? A POSSIBLE MEME LORD AND MAKES THE BEST SAD POUTY FACE. AS AN AMERICAN HOW COULD I NOT THINK ABOUT IT? I’D BE DOING MY COUNTRY AN INJUSTICE. He’d be redonkulous and fun to rp tho...

Ravus Nox Fleuret || FINAL FANTASY XV| .... Sadly... bumcheese has more personality and story development shown than this poor prince. If I did rp him it’d be heavily headcanon based and idk if i am strong enough to do that. Poor Ravus, I hardly knew you....

D || Vampire Hunter D| A dhampir!! Bounty hunter!! western loner on his way!! self conflicting issues!! A weird hand that talks!! Honestly I have no idea how it’d go, But after the Bloodlust movie i was so amazed I welcome myself to hell and in learning about him and all the other characters in the series. I feel he’d be tricky to rp being distant but part of that is that I’ve never really rp’d distant characters before?? He wouldnt be friends with anyone omfg. Looking up other info about him was super fun to read tho outside of the movie. Always more to it than meets the eyes. It’d also be fucking weird to not have to draw my own ass icons but that’s a story for another day... i really need to stop enjoying vampire characters aHAHAHAH.
