Femslash Feburary Day 4: Ame Sugar/Yowane Haku, 'Wounds'

“Are you feelin’ any better yet?”

Ame nods—though it’s very much not true, she at least wants to seem tough in front of Haku. Her lower arm, wrapped in bandages, burns like hellfire. It’s a survivable injury at least, just a nasty scratch from a monster encounter, but it’s left Ame cooped up and bored out of her mind for a couple of the longest days of her life.

Haku smiles gently and sits down next to Ame. “Y’know, you don’t have to be all strong all the time; hell, you got attacked by a giant damn bear with a honeybee head! You deserve a break!”

“Yeah, I guess so, huh…” The shorter girl rests her head in Haku’s lap with a content sigh.

“Anyway, I should probably show you what I came here for, huh?” With her free hand that’s not resting on Ame’s shoulder, Haku rummages around in the backpack she brought with her, withdrawing a stack of DVDs.

“I checked out a shitton of Precure at the library so we could do somethin’ together while you recover!” At that statement, Ame’s demeanor brightens even more, and she sits up to snuggle into Haku’s side. The rest of the day goes by in peace, with Haku and Ame exchanging jokes and kisses.
