What kind of love is this that we call love? The kind that hurts and causes pain? The kind that tears down, burns and screws over? The one that never forgets and carries the pain and hurt to the grave? The kind that revenges and smiles at disaster? What kind of love is this that we declare with our hearts at the altar? The kind that borrows vows relatable to our feelings? The kind that hides behind our 5-6 inch screens sometimes bigger and gives promises it has no idea on how to keep. This kind of love just says and says but never shows, it imitates and translates but is never authentic, it hides and takes without ever willing to give, it won't walk miles, no, it will do an email, it won't go for sight rather send filtered pictures, it won't make any effort it will trust a word to deliver a feeling. What kind of love kills? Or destroys? What kind is this that beats up and shrinks?

I'll tell you what kind it is, this is your kind of love. You who wants to have but not to hold, you who wants to see but not to feel, you who wants a fire but won't light the match. You who considers letters written, and songs dedicated naivity. You who always wants to receive. You who prefers a call or text to actual energy shared. You who believes more in 'how do we look' not 'how do we feel'.

To love is to love, there are no pluses or subtractions, and by this I mean conditions. Love is kind, patient and believe it or not unending. Relations end, we die, love keeps on moving, growing and existing. We can define a relationship with terms and conditions, we can define ourselves, our stuff and even our friends, but not love, not something so beyond us. We can simply characterize love, it is not to be just said or mentioned, rather illustrated in daily deeds to ourselves and others.

When we try to define love we do it only as we want it to mean for ourselves. We can equally try to define it based on our own expectations, from what we experience in the company of those we relate with intimately (mind, body and soul). One thing remains sure, if you utter those words you can't replace them, no amount of hate, spite, ill thought or hurt can match up to love, let's understand that difference; Affection, care, concern, preference those change and end, tolerance reaches it's peak, acceptance is not most individuals' flower choice all this have limits and ends. Love, not a chance so if you say I loved you and now I don't, hold up you never loved to begin with. Call it elevated affection, a little dose of obsession but don't taint love, don't stain it with an end.

Love is for always, we get hurt, we pain, we let go and find better but who is to say that just because something is no longer yours it deserves no love? Love entails so many things one of which is happiness, and everyone deserves to be happy and if they don't it is not your role to cause the opposite. People die for the sake of love or so they say. Love doesn't even kill, pain and hurt may but not love. Love is so strong it knows when to stay, it knows when its better to watch from a distance, it understands the secret to relation and intimacy as one the human mind is far from unveiling. Love acts, other times it practices silence. We are all attracted to each other down here so trust me when I say love is not these things that bear ill, pain and malice, that is us. Love is what mends the rifts always. What stands tall, releases everything worldly, worldly not earthly and fixes, builds, and nurtures.

This is the kind of love that I believe in.
