Following Jesus with AWSOM Church

AWSOM Church CSUF

AWSOM Church, established in 2022, is not like any other church you’ve ever attended (in a great way!) This isn’t just a place to just come to church, worship, say hello to a few people, and then leave, but this is a church that offers so much more than that. Where people check on you outside of church services because they genuinely care for you and want to make sure that you’re doing good and want to be relationships with you. They don’t just worship in a building, but make worship a part of their daily lives and always looking to grow spiritually themselves as well as helping others grow with God. And most important this is a church that will give you a new purpose in your life and that’s to truly live like Christ! Located in Orange County and with a vision to spread the message of faith and spiritual growth, this church stands as a beacon of hope for individuals seeking a deeper connection with God. In its short existence, this church has shown an unwavering commitment to worldwide evangelism, reaching out to people from all all over to help them establish a lasting and meaningful relationship with God. And even more than that it all comes from the Bible and they use that as their standard of living to really take on a purpose greater than any other and that’s living out Jesus’ last words to His disciples:

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

If it wasn’t for them being the ones to stand out and really imitate Jesus and His church, there would be a lot of people who would be missing a feeling of community and family, people who wouldn’t put much effort in to their relationship with God and who ultimately just felt lost spiritually. The members of AWSOM are there to be guides and friends and it’s amazing to see their dedication in genuinely wanting to be that supportive space for people who don’t know how to turn to God themselves.

Through engaging worship services on Fridays that are filled with powerful music and heartfelt lessons and a wide range of scriptures and Bible Studies that help in people’s interests in the Bible and their spiritual needs,the church provides opportunities for people to connect,

grow, and serve. Whether you are new to the area and seeking spiritual guidance or have been on a transformative journey for years, you will find a welcoming and inclusive community that

embraces diversity in all its forms. Thischurch family encourages personal spiritual development

And believe that everyone’s journey to God is different and special to them, but how God also wants everyone to be committed followers to Him and that’s what they’re there to help with! All of this together creates a truly “awsom” experience.

The mission of AWSOM Church is deeply rooted in their commitment to follow

Jesus and live like Him, diligently guiding its members and the broader community towards spiritual growth. Recognizing the incredible diversity and individuality of each

follower, the church adopts a personalized approach to spiritual development and cater to the unique needs and aspirations of every individual. Through helping people on an individual level it place belief that the true essence of faith can be not only discovered, but also deeply nurtured and cared for by always going back to the Bible, prayer, and the support of those around you.

Just like Jesus spent time with His disciples and not only taught them but loved them and was an example for them, you will find the same here at AWSOM Church and I’ve yet to see or meet any other church with the same goals and vision as close to Jesus as it is here!
