Not entirely convinced that knitting podcasters are capable of learning what the word “timeless” means tbh. Like no, that oversized sweater made with a strand of fingering held with a 70/30 mohair is not, in fact, timeless. That is very much dated to this time period in particular. Just because something has been trendy for 2 whole years does Not make it timeless…

#this is a really vague example because I am a dignified knitter who will not get petty #well. until I’m in the tags #today’s example of egregious knitter dialogue is honestly not too bad #but it is a bit ridicuous #this woman has just referred to the CLEMATIS sweater. the fucking *clematis* sweater as ‘’timeless’’…#girl I am pretty sure that having a giant fucking button placed which literally splits your sweater in two #is a TAD bit less timeless than a boring old 2 inch positive ease stockinette sweater #but hey. that’s just my opinion. a knitting opinion
