honkai star rail :: mostly black & white clothing with an occasional pop of color — usually red! lots of corsets and ruffle tops, not particularly drawn skirts or pants — will wear both! primary weapon is a scythe but she collects and carries daggers too :3 the pocket watch is for lore reasons but that is always on her person too

genshin impact :: clothing leans more towards bright and pastel colors but green is her favorite :3 flowy dresses! very much like a fairy heh. loves butterflies and flowers! (clearly lol) the thigh chain is actually where she keeps her vision! folding hand fans often make an appearance as a prop during her performances

feeling better now I spent like 2 hours browsing fragrantica and found samples of a few intriguing ones on lucky scent + it's my payday tomorrow so I'm going to treat myself to that :3

#so desperate to find smth with a good tomato vine note so i can always have her around... i miss the tomato soap i used to have soooo bad #every time i hydrolyse oil at work (like. weekly) it torments me bc fresh out of a 16 hr incubation it has this lush green tomato smell #so im reminded of it super often..... anyway im still working thru these fancy deodorant balms i got gifted and the most recent one-#has a tomato note its rly gorgeous i think possibly my fave of them so far. might see if i can get a bigger tube of it hmm #ive been using a harsher black pepper/vetiver one bc i need smth stronger in this sweaty weather but forgot how effective the balms are #and how yummy and subtle they smell.. wouldnt it be nice to smell like that all the time ahh..#but yes ill wait in case my roomie wants any samples too so we can split shipping. summer of me smelling nice <3 #also gonna try the demeter tomato one n maybe dirt or earthworm too..not sure id use them alone as perfume but maybe to stim #lucky scent doesnt have them tho sadly.. but i shall find elsewhere #i would LOVE a summer fragrance that was kind of loamy/earthy like rich wet soil but with buddleia notes. but i cant find anything-#in that kinda area on fragrantica sadly. just very specific nostalgic smell for me probably my top 5 smells ever #most stuff w buddleia is super floral n has so many other notes that throw me off from the description #ANYWAY.. i need to sleeeep #goodnight <3 #.diaries

Reading up on invasive plants continue to be a mistake because now that the garlic mustard's died back I am instead seeing dog-strangling vine everywhere. Admittedly Vincetoxicum rossicum and Vincetoxicum nigrum are pretty metal names but they really are out there blanketing the edge of every disturbed field and choking out the rest of the plant life...

#plant talk #t #i was interested in them for fibre reasons so at least i won't have to feel bad for harvesting them #this is a big reason why I'm trying to familiarize myself with invasive plants tbh #it's easy to confuse them with native milkweed at first but they're starting to flower now and the flowers are very distinct #i actually spent like 3 hours last night comparing their flowers to flowers of other milkweeds/dogbanes #because i was like there's SO many of them 😰#but... i guess that's what invasive plants do...#another way to tell them apart from native milkweeds is that the milkweeds are all being munched on by caterpillars #(not monarch caterpillars. these ones were black)#(there are other leptidora that are obligate herbivores on milkweed but i don't know what they are)#soooo. yikes.#these vines don't strangle dogs btw. no one knows why they're called that #i was gonna see if i could get anything workable out of garlic mustard but i waited too long #but Canada did release those weevils that only feed on garlic mustard so i don't think they're as big of an issue anymore #at least compared to these #which afaik don't really have any biological controls #if i harvest them I'll probably have to harvest in the evening right before the sun sets because i saw them growing among something that #looks suspiciously like ragweed. which is fine aside from the allergies. but ragweed also looks like wild carrot and wild parsnip #which are ABSOLUTELY NOT FINE and they will burn you like acid if you touch their sap and then go into the sun #no thank you !!#there's a few common plants that look like wild parsnip #but uhhhhhhh I'm not touching that lol #also found some wild grapes growing with them though! yum 😋#i don't care much for the grapes but the young shoots are sooooo good if you cook them up. they taste lemony

I havent decided their gender yet. but I dont think they have either so point still stands #I was just looking at my guys to see if any of them have any ego gifts that could be fun to fuck around with #and I looked at shao and was like god funeral of a dead butterfly ego gift is so overrated I don't want to draw that thing #and then I remembered. I dont have to draw that thing. not if I make some shit up #I am a big fan of stylilizing ego gifts and an even bigger fan of just completely changing them <3 #shao also has one of the rose gifts but Im probably going to change it to snow whites apple's gift to make it more thematically appropriate #Im basically going to mush the two gifts together and by that I mean make them both something theyre very much not #viney butterfly wings <3333 #to be clear theyre not usable as wings in fact shao tends to use them more like legs #the vines are quite thick and act as the veins so even if they werent trapped indoors they still couldn't work as wings #shao pretty much excusively uses these for mobility and as such is juliets default erand boy and juliet is quite fond of them #shao is in turn deeply loyal to juliet as they grew up without a family and sees juliet as filling that hole #juliet plays into it since she sees them as a valuable resource but she doesnt actually see them like that #juliet does like them but shes not really attached to them at all #if they died shed see it as more of a waste than a tragedy
