“stay with me,” comes @daevilhorns’s voice suddenly as he lays in the messy bed tucked away in the corner. he’s been plucking away aimlessly / noodling on his guitar , and the words linger in the air as she stands by his doorway , donned in her jeans and a black bra , pausing in her movements after she’s leaned down to grab her black tank top. no , nothing happened. but he’s shirtless so why can’t she be? who cares anyway. ( jesus. ) shut up.

zo doesn’t know how to respond to that. after everything she’s been through , she’s not sure that she should. she bounces the tank in her fleshy and spider-like metacarpals , phalanges bunching it so her head can go through , which it does. then lets her left arm slide in & then her right , tugging it down towards completion over her torso. the sultry female then clears her throat.

her mind always flinches at the idea of getting close to any other man that isn’t a particular blonde. that man is gone now , we won’t talk about how. her mom & brother are safe. that’s all that matters.

rest in peace, jimmy. thank you for your sacrifice. don’t worry , you were avenged with a shotgun by your daughter.

but despite all that , it didn’t make the reality of the fallout any less weird to cope with.

The four Sages were called back into the past by Terrako and they remember it happening

Tulin got to meet his hero, Revali, and decided to be just like him, adopting his idol’s brash personality and drive. He practises Revali’s Gale and eventually comes up with his own way to show off his mastery of wind, and when trouble hits his home he rushes to fix it on his own to prove how strong he has become and because, like Revali, he can’t stand idly by while he knows there’s still things he can do.

For Yunobo, when he goes back and meets his ancestor Daruk, he is a very timid and reactive Goron. He needs a push from others to come up with ideas and carry plans through, and when bad things happen to him his first instinct is to use his fire magic as a shield, to wait until the threat has passed by or somebody else has come to save him. But when he is sent back in time to Divine Beast vah Rudania, for the first time he has to be the one doing the saving. Daruk encourages Yunobo and is proud of him from the moment they meet, and it’s this support that gives Yunobo the confidence to help fight against Calamity Ganon, and to start YunoboCo when he gets home.

For Sidon, meeting his family from 100 years ago is bittersweet. He is proud that he was able to protect his sister, and it’s a comfort to know there is a version of him who will grow up alongside Mipha because of his bravery and fighting prowess. But as much joy as he got from seeing her, hugging her, and hearing her voice again, it just reminds him of how unfair her death was, of just how young she was when she died and how he is now older even though he’s the younger sibling. And at the end of the war, when he’s returned to their original time, he has to readjust to her absence all over again, and in light of that is it really a shock he’d have her statue moved further away from his home? And it also explains why he’s so desperate to protect Yona from the sludge.

Riju in AoC still a new ruler to her people, despite her accomplishments in BotW, she still feels guilty over the temporary loss of the Thunder Helm and isn’t sure if she can lead the Gerudo. She has a lot of confidence but is quick to falter when things go wrong. Urbosa treats Riju as a capable fighter despite her young age, and teaches her that she should never give up, to keep trying even when her resolve falters. There is always something you can do, even when it’s just stalling for time until help can arrive. Urbosa guides her in mastering the Thunderhelm, and possibly begins teaching her to summon lightning herself after Kohga attempts to steal it, and at the end of their time together Urbosa tells Riju she’s certain she’ll lead the Gerudo well. Riju treasured her time being mentored by Urbosa so much that she considers what Urbosa would do during the Upheaval in her diary in TotK.

I think the entire reason Tulin was added to the DLC was because the TotK team had already decided that Tulin was going to be the Sage of Wind, and that since the other sages were going to meet their Champions Tulin had to as well.

At some point in the years between Botw and TotK Teba, Tulin, Sidon, Yunobo, Riju and Patricia were summoned back in time by Terrako to aid the Champions during the Calamity, and even though those events took place in a parallel timeline and had no bearing on the world they returned to, the Sages’ personalities at the beginning of TotK are because of their experiences during the Calamity and the bonds they made with the Champions.

vfv!ballet&theatre au headcanons !! pt. 1 — Conservatoire Dramatique du Château de Versailles. (CDCV)

the cdcv is a prestigious dramatic arts program that specialises in theatre and ballet — the first and only one of its kind. the training is rigorous and state of the art. the program is competitive. many students specialise into either the theatre or ballet, but there are a select few who are accepted into both programs.

louis dieudonné is one of cdcv's stars. he's a principal performer in both the theatre and ballet streams. his scene partner is a coveted role— one mostly held by maria–theresa.

maria–theresa is another one of cdcv's principal artists who are enrolled in both programs. when paired together, the two are a force to be reckoned with. technically perfect — a well oiled machine, though through the trained eye, their on-stage connection leaves something to be desired.

an exchange student from spain, maria–theresa is not too familiar with french, and typically doesn't have many friends in the program.

renèe manon de noailles is a wildcard. having received formal ballet training as a young girl in russia, renèe was on a path to success. this path was short-lived, when financial ruins had hit her family – her tuition being redirected to pay for her mother's health.

despite this and having moved back to france, renèe continued to dance and train as much as she could. her family had managed enough funds to send her to a small ballet studio where she would attend classes after school.

alexandre bontemps was a promising cdcv alumni— up until a great injury that left him unable to dance at the professional level. a devastating blow to his career, he now spends his time working as one of cdcv's creative directors and coaches. he's got a sharp eye for talent.

philippe dieudonné is the younger brother of louis. philippe is two years his junior and tries to stray away from him — always being caught in the shadows of his spotlight. he is strictly part of the ballet program. he's one of the principal artist, but not as decorated as louis.

where his brother almost perfectly technical, and more powerful in his movements, there is an effortless beauty and grace in philippe's movement. his artistry is refined — something that cannot be taught and is a sight to behold. an actor in his own right.

philippe had been trained in acting before his acceptance into the academy, the same as louis, but found that he had a penchant (which he keeps hidden) for writing and screenplay.

Wish!Belle who is a leather-clad adventuress who helped many people along the way but never forgot about her goal, never gave up hope that she would find Rumple, even though it's been years and all the stories she hears about him, little traces of his presence, they all date back to before she was rescued by the Charmings.

Wish!Belle who eventually finds Wish!Rumple and is horrified by the idea that the Charmings and dwarfs and the Blue Fairy (she did hear some bad things about the Fairy, though, on her adventures, so this is not as surprising, not to mention there was no love lost between her and Rumple back when Belle was his maid), the people who are meant to be good and all, would not only lock someone up like that and just... leave them there to rot away in solitude but also lie to her about not knowing where he was (so they didn't forget about him, they left him there on purpose).

Wish!Belle who develops a relationship with Wish!Rumple while still being an adventuress and never ceasing to amaze Wish!Rumple with her sharp mind, kind soul and the ability to save a village, reunite True Love and make delightful pies for tea time and all of that by 5 o'clock

Wish!Belle who finds Wish!Rumple at any point between him being released by Regina and his would-be death and quickly makes him forget all his villainous plans (because really his whole plan to make everyone alone and unhappy forever was about his own loneliness and unhappiness)

when jane's powers return in season four (and because they were regained by her confronting and accepting her past, rather than being retraumatised with it!) they're stronger than they ever were. when she starts getting a handle back on them, she very quickly comes to realise not only have they affected her, but her mother, too. one of the biggest losses that came about with her losing them was the fact that she could no longer visit terry in the void; while there was no real communication there, it did allow jane to sit with her, and gain a little more connection than she could in the real world. when she first visits the void after their return, it takes her three hours to find terry, something that is both unexpected and incredibly worrying. but when she does, it's something of a miracle. jane's increased strength and control over the void actually wakes terry up from her catatonic state, but only in the void. there's no way to help her mother physically, but she does do so (unbeknownst to her) mentally. terry is reborn in jane's newfound control over the vale of shadows; she becomes the woman she once was, and while her body remains frozen in a "good dream", her mind connected to jane's own allows her some freedom. jane is able to speak to her mother in the void, is able to be held by her, and while it's still unfair and jane cannot stay in there forever, it's something. this only lasts for about eight months, as each visit slowly begins deteriorating terry's physical and mental state, and jane's health begins declining after spending hours upon hours in the void each and every day.

when jane finds out these visits are actually killing her mother on the outside, she deems to stop, but terry expresses the importance of them being able to speak, that she'd prefer to die on the outside, if it meant she could have just a few months with her daughter like this. terry and jane's connection was always so strong, which ultimately led to terry "waking up" in the void, but even jane's newfound strength cannot save her from the harsh realities. each visit nearing the end of those eight months, terry fades more and more, becomes weaker in the void, and her real body eventually gives up. jane's in the void when her mother eventually passes on, and physically feels their connection weaken, like some part of her suddenly becomes lost in the shadows, a part she'll never find again. jane falls into a depressive state for weeks after her mother's death, given she's technically lost her a second time, but soon comes to realise she was lucky to have even shared those eight months together. it was better than nothing at all. there is a proper burial and funeral, (and when jane dies, she's buried next to her mother) which allows jane some sense of closure. she never fully recovers from losing terry, nor from the fact that she never had a proper relationship with her, but she does eventually find some peace with it all.

Semi-Connected Cas Thoughts

Casimira is extremely harsh with disciplining her nobles, and dealing with them is usually where she can be considered her most "Dogmatic". An incompetent serf isn't that big a deal (they'll be punished, but not necessarily killed), but an incompetent noble affects the whole planet and it makes it more likely she'll have to get involved in the cleanup. Unfortunately, as the old guard quickly learned, Cas doesn't hold much esteem for pedigree or tradition so she's not shy about the occasional bout of (lethal) discipline when she deems it necessary. The only family of Theodora's nobles to make it out unscathed were the Werserians for a reason, and any post-game nobles that rise after the old learn quickly to keep a close eye on their holdings.

Insofar as other bits of Court Conduct, Cas also runs on Rule of Annoying, where essentially: if made to deal with a situation or person that's otherwise unpleasant but not actively dangerous, if she can take a course of action that can selectively piss off someone around her that she dislikes without being too obvious, she'll try and do it. She would say it's to test limits, but in reality, she can nearly match Marazhai for being an emotional terror to others when she wants to be. She ends up surprisingly adept at the subtleties of court life because "managing to fuck over or provoke someone else without the matter being obviously readable to outsiders or turning violent" was a big part of why she was chosen for her pre-Rogue Trader course of work. On the other end of the spectrum from the above, one of the few instances where she will insist on following tradition or the courtly way of doing things to the letter is with nobles she doesn't like. Both sides know she doesn't care, but the right slip up can reveal a lot.

So as to "how much of Cas' personal life is public knowledge" irt Marazhai, while I know the epilogue says their Feasts and stuff are pretty legendary, I don't think your average Joe on the street would be able to factually tell you "Rogue Trader von Valancius has a Drukhari consort." This run we are going for peace with the Eldar so on that front her fondness for Xenos is pretty public. But insofar as specifics, while she'd never deny him, I think their relationship is pretty "their business" in the sense that there's no point in explicitly showing out about it. The exception being the above, RoA, in which case "implying something going on to the right person for the kick of it" is fine (ie, Winterscale/Chorda/Kharael), especially because the person being provoked probably already doesn't like her and can be discredited anyways? But I mean, neither one of them is big on emotion or being especially lovey, and post-game they live apart so, idk I think it's entirely possible they can sit in the same room together for hours and unless someone observing knows them nothing would be especially amiss? I see it as essentially, most of their time together isn't planetside, so word of what goes on there doesn't reach the wider populace for the most part? Like at most, Her Ladyship has a fondness for Xenos, has a favorite Xenos mercenary (what odd Rogue Trader doesn't?), and perhaps some disgruntled nobles or former officers may allege improper relations but its hard to prove, y'know?

;;Clarification on verses and how I generally handle Post-TYBW:

In my opinion, Rukia being settled and having a family is nearly a prerequisite for Rukia assuming captaincy. That or some other significant event for her, which I don't know the shape of at the moment. In canon, it's only when her child is more grown that she actually takes the title(10 years after the end of the war), so she remains acting captain for a long time even if fully compliant. I would suggest by default that you assume she's lieutenant but fully assuming the responsibilities of an acting captain of the thirteenth if wanting to do something post TYBW. If you say post-TYBW I'm usually picturing this length of time.

OR if you want full captain Rukia, just remember that you are adding at least a 10 year gap for her to take up the rank... >3> I'm open to other ideas on discussion as well, just talk to me on them so we're on the same page.

Not noting this because I want to avoid the verse where she's captain. it's the opposite really. I think this point is very interesting, and want to get into the headspace of her here and what leads up to this more so. It's really more of an invite because I want to detail out before she makes captaincy and her headpiece and ten years is lot to fill in for my brain and I know there are significant things that happen before that point I want to fill in.

Some headcanons on her and captaincy:

She will actively respond to Captain Rukia, and or Kuchiki-taichou even while just acting captain, but make fun of you on getting your eyes checked or something.

With the passing of her captain, she's very reflective and actively refuses the title or pressure to take the rank. In her heart is some uncertainty in her life's direction, and some thoughts on making the most of life, where that takes her is open though. I don't think it specifically needs to take the shape of canon, but it is some kind of journey or change in focus for her. She's stops just looking at what's in front of her and maybe even looks back and beyond.

Her absolute first priority after thousand year blood war is looking after what remains of her squad. She knows she's now the highest officer that remains for them to look towards after they've lost someone who has been there so long and was important to so many. More than herself, she puts her squadmates first and will shut down and hide her own grieving or emotions to look after them and be the sign of strength that they can lean on.

She attends meetings in place of a captain for the thirteenth while acting captain.

Rukia still thinks she has a lot to learn, on leadership, and particularly on her bankai before taking on the full role of captain.

You could change my mind with a good thread on it or maybe have the right person talk to her, but this is my current mindset, until something makes me think different ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
