You looked up with a proud face staring straight at him with an excited smile. Nikki was so lost in his own epiphany he needed a second to gather himself before speaking, afraid he will blurt everything out and ruin the one good thing he had.

It took nikki a while after that to come to terms with that and when he did he wanted nothing more than to ask you out. But it wasn't really all that easy. There was still your friendship on the line and he was scared he could ruin that. Or that you will change your mind eventually because well...he was still Nikki.

In that period of time he found himself wide awake most of the nights. He would think about making you his..But he always let his mind wander to how it would feel to touch your soft skin, warm under his touch.
