1st Person.

It was just another day at the coffee shop, where the morning crowd shuffled in like clockwork. I had my usual regulars, the early risers, the business types, the half-awake students. Nothing unusual. That is, until I saw him.

He looked a bit out of place. Messy black hair falling in his face, an oversized jacket that looked like it hadn’t seen a washing machine in a while, and a worn sketchbook tucked under his arm. He shifted nervously as he got in line, eyes darting from the menu to the floor, like he was afraid to make eye contact with anyone.

When he finally made it to the counter, he hesitated, glancing up at me, then quickly looked back down.

-  Hi, welcome! - I greeted, with my usual smile - What can I get started for you?

- Uh-  a coffee, black, please... - He muttered, really nervous, scratching the back of his neck. His eyes were wide behind his greasy messy hair. 

He handed me cash with slightly trembling hands. The whole interaction probably only took a few seconds, but it felt… different. Like he was processing everything in slow motion, or like maybe he’d never seen a girl before.

He murmured a quiet “thanks” and shuffled off to wait for his coffee, sneaking glances at me when he thought I wasn’t looking. I shook my head, stifling a small laugh. Maybe he was a little weird, sure… but something about him was interesting. 

Well, he started to come here every single day, always at the same time, carrying either a comic book or his sketchbook. He's always wearing a worn-out band T-shirt or an old sweatshirt, and his hair always looks like it's never been shampooed. He never talks to anyone, and no matter how many times I’ve handed him a coffee, he never seemed to get used to this, always avoiding my eyes and muttering. 

After a few weeks passed, I observed his weird way of acting, and that made me even more curious about him. Taking advantage of the fact that, by some miracle, the cafeteria was empty except for him, I went to the little table in the corner of the cafeteria. He didn't take his eyes off the comic book he was reading, until I cleared my throat.

- Hi… - I started, and he looked up at me with wide eyes. I felt a rush of nervousness myself but forced a smile to hide it. - Sooo… I just realized I’ve never asked your name. 

- H-Hi - He blinked, clearly taken off guard. His cheeks immediately flushed, and he muttered under his breath. - Uh… M-my name’s G-gerard… 

- Well, nice to meet you! - I sat in front of him, introducing me to him. But as soon as I said my name, my gaze fell on the comic book he was reading. - IIs that a 1940's Batman #1 spring issue?!

- Y-yeah… I'm kinda obsessed with Robin's costume… - He looked at me with a little uncertainty, analyzing if I really wanted to hear it. I nodded, with a smile. -  b-because it's incredibly dangerous, like he has no body armor and he wears the brightest colors… and it makes no sense.

The last thing I knew was that I got lost in our conversation, all of his opinions about the art, the lore and everything. I swear I never imagined we would have this detail in common... little by little I realized he loosened up a little, but it seems like he still has a lot hidden under his wrinkled sweatshirt… 

Unfortunately, customers started showing up and I had to get back to work. 

- So… I gotta go now - I sighed, standing up. - But it was nice to talk to you, Gerard… I guess you will be here tomorrow?  

- I-i guess so… - he muttered, playing with the sleeve of his sweatshirt. - Was… uh…  nice to talk to you. See you tomorrow then.

I smiled at him, and he did the same thing, and for the first time I saw how beautiful his eyes were.  Well… there I go, back to my work, watching him leave the place. 

Next day was going normal and at the usual time, he showed up, with his scarf, his black hoodie and his messy hair. Gerard walked to the counter to place his order. Unlike usual, he was a little more confident, although he still stuttered a little when placing his order. 

- Hey, Gerard! - I smiled at him, was his gaze met mine - usual?

- Y-yeah, please. - He stood up awkwardly while I prepared his coffee.

- So… - I handed him his coffee. - any new comic stuff?

He looked confused, and a shy smile appeared on his face before he blushed a little and picked up the drink. 

- I found some new stuff at the comic store… - his voice is a bit louder than a whisper - I-I can show you… 

I glanced around the place, seeing that it was empty, except for one couple who were at some corner. 

- Yeah sure!

Again, the time seems not to pass, and this talk with him turned into some kind of routine for us... Asking him about details of comics and hearing him explain everything… I'm not the ‘nerd kind’ like him, but I knew enough to keep the conversation going.  

A few days later, as we were into our usual banter about comics and superheroes, something felt different. Gerard seemed a bit... bolder. His shoulders weren’t as hunched, and he was smiling more, albeit shyly, like he was starting to get even more comfortable with me, like we were friends... I couldn't shake the feeling that maybe we could be more.

 I caught him glancing my way a few times, a thoughtful look on his face, like he was debating something.

- Hey… uh… - He glanced up at me,  - I was wondering… d-do you want to… uh…  I mean, only if you want to… maybe come over t-to my place? I have more comics there... like, a lot more. We could, um, look through them together?

I blinked a few times, surprised by the sudden invitation. We've become so close in just a few months, it's crazy.

- Y-yeah! I mean, since you like comics... you’ll probably enjoy it. - Gerard’s smiles grow, he gets excited every word that slips out of his mouth - And, uh, I could show you my... collection. It’s not, like, super impressive or anything... but... yeah… you  should come tomorrow… 

- Sure! I’ll be there!

When I arrived there, I was surprised. The basement was even more than I imagined, a treasure trove of comics, action figures, posters, DVDs, and CDs stacked on every available surface. It looked like the ultimate geek haven, where every corner had a story to tell. In addition, there were several drawings and sketches of people that he himself had created, as well as piles of sketchbooks on the floor.

- Holy shit! - I blurted out, spinning in place to take everything in. - This is awesome! You have, like, what… a billion comics here?!

Gerard shuffled nervously by the door, scratching the back of his neck. 

- A-actually... it's not that much... b-but, um...- His face flushed a little as he responded,

- Are you kidding me? - I interrupted, wide-eyed, as I reached out to touch a vintage Batman figurine still in its box. - Oh. My. God! This is collector's stuff... You’ve got first editions, limited prints... This is incredible!

- I-I’m kinda... uh... a fan of... you know, comics. A-and stuff. - He smiled shyly, his fingers fiddling with the hem of his hoodie.

- Dude, that’s awesome! - I said, completely genuine, scanning a shelf crammed with Marvel and DC titles, mixed in with indie graphic novels. Everything was in meticulous order, and it was clear he cared about this stuff more than most people would understand. - I had no idea you had so much cool stuff down here.

- Y-yeah, well... I don’t, uh, really show a lot of people this stuff, - he admitted, his eyes darting nervously to the floor. - It’s kind of... my space, I guess. It’s... messy, and maybe a little... weird.

I stepped forward just a little bit more, close enough to feel the warmth radiating from him.

His breath hitched, and he swallowed hard, looking at me like he was trying to solve some impossible puzzle. 

- I... um... you’re... really close,- he stammered, his voice shaky. - I mean, not that I... mind... or anything, it’s just that I don’t... I don’t usually... have people down here... or... or close to me like this.

I could feel his nervousness, but there was something vulnerable about it that made me want to close the gap even more. His eyes locked onto mine, and this time, he didn’t look away.

We got close enough for our lips to touch, then he involuntarily pressed his lips on mine.

It lasted only a few seconds before his eyes widened and he pulled back in shock, his face burning. 

- I-I'm sorry - he stammered, hands trembling as he scratched the back of his neck, his voice faltering. - I shouldn't… I'm really sorry… i'm not used to having people around me, and i just… uh… kinda where too much-

His words trailed off into a mess of nervousness, like he couldn't even form a coherent sentence.

Before he could keep trying to apologize, I leaned in again, pressing my lips to his, more confident this time. He froze, completely still, like he didn’t know whether to react or if he should apologize for the first kiss again. His lips remained soft and unresponsive against mine, and I could feel his panic radiating off him.I backed off a little, rubbing his cheek with my thumb.

His eyes widened even more, his whole face lighting up with embarrassment, and he looked like he was trying to process everything happening all at once. His lips parted as if he wanted to say something, but nothing came out. He took a deep breath, glanced away, then back at me. 

- I... I didn’t- uh, I wasn’t… -  He shook his head, a nervous laugh escaping his lips as he rubbed the back of his neck. - I-I’m just... this is really… uh, a lot for me. I mean, I don't know how and…

- Gerard - I said, my voice gentle but teasing.  I couldn’t help but chuckle softly, enjoying the effect I seemed to have on him.  - Relax. Just kiss me back...

Our lips met again, but this time he didn't remain static. His cold hand moved up to my neck, while his thumb pressed lightly on my jaw. Our lips moved gently as he seemed to be really enjoying every second. 

When our lips parted again, he was redder than ever, but his eyes remained on my face. He bit his lip, nervously.

- Was this… uh… nice? - he asked, voice barely above a whisper. His cheeks were still flushed, and his gaze darted between me and the floor, like he couldn’t settle on one thing. - I mean, I... He rambled on, nervously tugging at the sleeve of his shirt, clearly overthinking every word. At first I was afraid I'd gone too far, but as he didn't refuse and even worried about whether I'd done well, I didn't regret it at all.

- It was perfect, - I said softly, brushing a lock of hair away from his face. - You didn’t need a superhero comic to do it right.

- O-Okay... good... I mean, I’m... I’m glad. But I don’t... I don’t really know what this means, you know? Like, am I... are we... Are we, um, dating? - You’re not going to mess this up,- I said, leaning into him. - Trust me… 

he nodded his head in shy agreement, while a small, insecure smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

I barely finished the sentence, his lips crushed into mine. It was slower, more confident, though still laced with that same shy excitement. It felt like the start of something special, something that didn’t need to be perfect, but was perfect all the same.

- I... I’m really glad you’re... okay with me. - his forehead rested against mine, and he let out a soft, relieved laugh.  - All of me. Even... the awkward parts. 

I knew the next day would be different from normal. Same coffee shop, same people, but knowing that the weird, shy, nerdy boy was now my boyfriend, so I couldn't be happier. The way I feel more comfortable with him than with anyone else is what makes me sure we were making the right decision.

I was behind the counter, wiping it down, when the familiar jingle of the café door caught my attention. I looked up to see Gerard standing there, his usual nervous posture gone, replaced by something… different. His shoulders were straighter, and he didn’t hesitate as he walked right up to the counter.

- Hey, Gee! - I greeted with a bright smile, already reaching for the coffee pot.

But before I could say another word, he leaned over the counter and kissed me, firm and a little awkward, but full of this newfound confidence. I froze, eyes wide, and for a second, all I could hear was the quick thumping of my heart.

He pulled back, he cleared his throat. 

- Uh… I-I did it right? -  his face immediately turning pink - I mean... I’ve never... dated before, so... I-I thought 

I couldn’t help the giggle that bubbled out of me, my heart melting at his adorable uncertainty. 

- You did perfect,- I reassured him, pressing a quick kiss to his lips. His whole face lit up with relief.

- Okay, good, - he murmured, rubbing the back of his neck with a shy smile. - I... I was worried I might’ve

- Relax,- I laughed, giving his hand a squeeze before letting go. - I’m just gonna make your coffee now, okay?

He nodded, that sweet, hesitant smile growing even bigger, and I turned to get his usual order, feeling my own cheeks heat up. This was Gerard, still awkward, still nervous, but there was something different in his eyes today. Something that made my heart skip a beat.

Time for another installment in the Bad Boys Borrower College AU! I'm so excited to share another part of this! I hope you guys enjoy!

 Jimmy couldn’t help but pace back and forth, trying to gain the courage to just ask. He had been thinking about this for a while now. 

 He wanted to go to class with Grian and Joel.

 It wasn’t just a spur of the moment decision. He had been in many dorm rooms and even the communal kitchens and lobbies but he had never actually been to any of the classrooms or lecture halls within the college.

 Mostly because they were in a completely different building to the dorms. The journey to get there by himself wouldn’t even be worth it. If he was still by himself, borrowing like normal, he wouldn’t even consider going over there.

 But he was no longer by himself. Now, he had some friends, human friends, who provided him everything that he needed. He no longer needed to gauge if something was worth it or not. If he wanted to do it, he could.

 Well, as long as Grian and Joel agreed. And he wasn’t sure how well they were going to take him asking to go to class with them. He understood the dangers and the risks that could come with being in a space with a lot of humans but at the same time he was so curious about the things Grian and Joel got up to when they weren’t in their dorm.

 So he just needed to ask and probably make his case. But he could do that.

 Right now, both Joel and Grian were actually in the middle of getting ready for class. Joel was stuffing some books and papers in his backpack and Grian was tying his shoes. They were about to leave and Jimmy still hadn’t asked them if he could go.

 “U-Uh, guys?” Jimmy asked, and suddenly all the attention was on him. Welp, no backing out now. He took a deep breath. “I want to go with one of you to class.” He said rather than asked. He thought telling them what he wanted, rather than asking, would work itself out better for him.

 Joel and Grian’s eyes were wide. They looked between the two of them and then back at Jimmy, trying to process his request. “I’m sorry, what?” Joel asked.

 Jimmy huffed. “I want to go to class with one of you guys.” Jimmy repeated. “I’ve never been to any of the classrooms and I’ve always been curious about what you guys learn and get up to. I thought it would be…fun?”

 Grian ran a hand down his face. “I don’t think that’s really a good idea Tim. What if something happened? Where would you even stay? Our backpacks are so full you’d probably be crushed before we even got to class.” The thought made them all shiver but Grian was better at hiding it. 

 “I was actually thinking about staying in a, uh, pocket.” Jimmy said a bit sheepishly. It was the first time he was suggesting something like this. But he would be lying if he said he hadn’t thought about it before. 

 “A pocket?” Joel repeated, hand subconsciously finding the pockets he had in his jeans.

 “Yeah, but not those kinds.” Jimmy said, pointing to where Joel’s hand was. Those kinds of pockets seemed much too stiff and uncomfortable. He would not like being shoved in one of those, that’s for sure. “I was actually thinking more along the lines of Grian’s hoodie pocket. The one on the front.” The hoodie in question was laying on the edge of Grian’s bed.

 Grian lifted the red hoodie up and took a look at the pocket. He never really paid much attention to stuff like that but now he found himself thinking about how it would be having Jimmy in there. The thought was a bit weird. “I mean, you would probably have plenty of room in there but Jimmy, I still don’t think--” 

 “Come on! Nothing is going to happen. I trust you guys to make sure I’m safe. Besides, if I’m in your hoodie pocket, it’ll be easy for you to keep an eye on me. Er, keep uh, a hand on me.” Jimmy said, trying to make his case and pleading just a little bit.

 Grian and Joel’s chests warmed at the mention of trust. Jimmy trusted them to keep him safe, to the point he wanted to take the risk and go to class with them. Hearing it out loud was not only nice but it was also breaking their resolve. They exchanged another glance, in which Joel simply shrugged. Grian sighed.

 “...Okay. We’ll try it out.” Grian finally said and Jimmy celebrated. “But if anything happens we are never doing this again.” Grian said, cutting Jimmy off. Jimmy just nodded, still grinning.

 Grian sighed again and then put on his hoodie. He smoothed out the wrinkles and placed his hands in his pocket to make sure it was properly spaced. He then took his hands back out and reached over toward Jimmy.

 Jimmy barely had to brace himself as Grian’s hand wrapped around him. The grip itself was solid but gentle, secure but not suffocating. It always amazed Jimmy how much control human’s hand in their hands. It was such a powerful tool and yet Grian and Joel used it in such gentle ways. Jimmy couldn’t help but flex his own hand subconsciously as Grian lifted him up and off the nightstand. 

 Grian paused for a moment, thinking. “Should I just…stick you in there?” Grian said with a wince. Neither of them had ever put Jimmy in a pocket before. He didn’t know what the protocol for this was.

 Jimmy thought for a minute before shrugging. “Yeah, I guess.” He didn’t really see a better way to do it. 

 Grian nodded and lowered Jimmy down to where his pocket was. He hesitated for a moment before gently stuffing the hand that held Jimmy inside. From there, he carefully released the borrower and pulled his hand back a little but didn’t fully take his hand out. “There. How are you doing?”

 “Yeah, and how does it feel?” Joel chimed in, crouching so that he was eye level with Grian’s hoodie pocket. He could just barely make out the tiny lump that he knew to be Jimmy. 

 Jimmy shifted a bit, getting into a more comfortable position. He sat up, using the solid wall behind him to lean against. The fabric was comfortable to be in and that, paired with Grian being so close, gave a nice warmth to the pocket as well. It was actually rather nice, which Jimmy hadn’t really been expecting. Tolerable, sure but not nice. He would even go so far as to say that he liked being in here. 

 “It’s good!” Jimmy said, raising his voice a bit more. He wasn’t sure how well they could hear him from amidst the layer of fabric. “It’s actually pretty comfortable in here.”

 “Huh, really?” Joel asked, surprised Jimmy actually seemed to like it. “It’s not too stuffy in there or anything?”

 “Nope!” Even with Grian’s hand inside the pocket with him, the two entrances into the pocket were giving him enough air for it to not be an issue. 

 “Well, I guess we’re actually doing this then.” Joel said, standing back up. Grian gave him a look.

 “What’s this ‘we’ business, I’m the one who has him in my pocket.” Grian said, slinging his backpack over his shoulder before placing his other hand in his pocket as well. He looked down, unable to even see a sign of Jimmy from this angle. “It’s not too crowded with both my hands in right?”

 Jimmy shook his head, then quickly realized they couldn’t see him. “Nope! It’s fine!” Maybe it was a little crowded but Jimmy didn’t mind. He was used to Grian or Joel’s hands being close. It actually gave him some comfort in this situation. Because despite being the one to want this, he was still nervous about it.

 “Okay then, we’re leaving now so no more talking.” Grian said as he reached the door. “If you need anything, just hit my hand or something, okay?”

 “Got it!” Jimmy said and then fell silent as he heard the door open. 

 As Grian and Joel walked down the hall, they were a bit tense. “This is weird.” Grian admitted.

 Joel looked over at him with a raised eyebrow. “Yeah, I bet. I’m not even the one who has him and I’m nervous.”

 Someone passed by them and they did their best to act normal. Once they were far enough away, Grian let out a breath. “I feel like he’s just out on full display despite the fact he’s hidden.” Grian reached out a finger and gently nudged Jimmy’s side, he was met with tiny hands trying to push it away. He smiled slightly. At least Jimmy was right in that regard. It did make him feel a bit better that he could make sure Jimmy was still there and okay.

 “Although, if you think about it, it’s kind of weird in a different way too.” Joel brought up as they finally left the dorm building. The sky was overcast but thankfully there was no rain.

 Grian looked at Joel confused. “What do you mean?”

 Joel shrugged. “I don’t know, it’s just…this is the first time we’ve ever brought Jimmy out of the dorm room. It feels different. More…real, I guess. If that makes sense?” Joel ran a hand down his face. “Or not, maybe I’m just rambling cause I’m so nervous about this.”

 Grian shook his head. “No, I think I get what you mean.” It was hard to put it into words. But taking Jimmy out of the dorm room made him feel more real. Like he really did exist outside of it. They both knew that already, of course, but actually experiencing it was another thing entirely.

 A featherlight touch patted his finger and Grian couldn’t help but smile.

  They made it to the biology building first, which is where Joel and Grian would part for now. Joel stepped back a bit. “Alright, I’ll see you both later. Don’t get into any trouble.” Joel said. He wasn’t sure how he was going to focus in his classes knowing Jimmy was out but he would have to get by. “I’ll meet you guys back at the dorm for lunch.”

 “Sounds good. See you later.” Grian waved goodbye to Joel as he made his way to the next building over and then Grian entered the biology building.

 As Grian entered his class, a wave of voices could be heard. Jimmy jumped slightly, not used to having so many loud voices around him at once. Sure, he had looked in on a college party or two in the past but that had been a long time ago. He had grown used to the quiet atmosphere of Grian and Joel’s dorm room.

  He felt Grian sit down, the pocket getting just slightly more smushed in the process but still not too bad. Grian kept his hands in his pocket for now and Jimmy briefly wondered if he was going to forgo taking notes in order to keep his hands inside. Jimmy hoped not, he didn’t want to be responsible for Grian not getting the information of the class down. 

 A finger came up and nudged him in the side again. Jimmy put his hand on the fingertip, letting Grian know he was still there. It was nice to be worried about, if Jimmy was being honest. And every touch and nudge was Grian showing off that worry.

 A few moments later, the class quieted down and only one voice spoke. Jimmy assumed that was the teacher getting on with the lesson for the day. So Jimmy sat back and did his best to listen.

 Though, it became clear very quickly that Jimmy had no hope to understand what the heck the teacher was talking about. It was like that time he sat with Grian while he was studying. No words were making sense, not put together the way the teacher was saying them anyway. Jimmy slumped back, a bit defeated by the prospect that he wouldn’t be learning anything new today. Had there even been a point in coming out with Grian and Joel then?

 He looked to his right, at one of Grian’s hand. The warmth he had felt when first being put into the pocket had only grown. But not to an overbearing degree. It felt nice. As a borrower, Jimmy was almost always cold. His small body couldn’t contain much heat like a human’s body could. So Jimmy liked to soak up any warmth he could. And in this pocket, next to Grian’s body and hands, he had never felt so warm and comfortable.

 Maybe there was still a point in having come out here with his humans after all.

 With the lecture now being background noise, Jimmy shifted closer to Grian’s right hand. In turn, Grian’s hand cupped around him, surrounding him in even more warmth. Jimmy let out a small sigh and before he knew it, he had closed his eyes and fallen into a peaceful sleep.

As I might've mentioned earlier, he loves your thighs and hips. Size doesn't matter, scarring doesn't matter.. HE JUST LOVES THEM! If visible, they instantly catch his attention, and sort of distract him. Only a teensy bit though, he's not gawking at you or anything.. Also likes it if you give him lots of big kisses while you rub him up. Anywhere on his body too, really, it's his favorite thing. (Even more- he loves if you squeeze his butt. Anything that risky. In any way you can think of. Literally all forms of risks are a major no for him. Physically risky, reputation risky.. All of them.

Also, anything gross. Won't go along with watersports, emetophilia.. Anything along those lines are a no-no for him. Would completely wreck his mood.

Sort of nervous on recieving oral? Not really for himself too, he just doesn't want you to feel physical discomfort or choke or anything.. It's not really his thing. Totally up for giving, though. You might not expect it, but he's actually rather big on giving. Would honestly be satisfied if that's all you two do for the night.

P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.)

He tends to gear towards a happy medium pace most of the time (exceptions can be made..). Sensual isn't really a word to describe it, nor is it rough. Not harsh, but not fluid. He feels if he goes rough he'll hurt you, and that's really not something he wants. But if he goes slow it just makes him feel shy, if that makes sense. It gives you the opportunity to really focus in on him, and he isn't exactly talkative in sex either outside simple questions and the alike, so it makes him feel awkard. A speed that's gentle but not too calm.

He's not a fan, and he'll rarely ever agree to go along with them. If he does though, then those are the times that the exceptions mentioned above happen. Though, admittedly, even though he isn't neccessarily a fan, he doesn't hate them.

Okay, unlike above, he's actually a real hater of risks. And there's really no elaborating on it either, as it's pretty much already been covered. Will not agree to risks.

S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)

While usually he tends to try and keep it at one to three rounds, he can do more. He's a physically abled man, and has quite a bit of stamina due to all the training he does and the alike. If he really wanted to he could go for.. Five? Probably could do seven, but he's just not that much of a sex fanatic, so that won't really happen.

T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)

Would never buy any. Why get such a thing if he's already equipped with parts for this activity? Might be willing to try some simpler things though, if you get it. Don't expect him to go for any BDSM stuff though, that's just really not his thing.

U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)

Not at all. He simply doesn't have the patience for it. Teasing him does get you somewhere though, if you're interested. Just don't expect him to humor you for too long.

V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)

Tries to be as silent as possible. Naturally, he isn't that noisy anyways, but it still embarrasess him. Panting, grunting. Maybe lower-sounding very muffled whimpering (only if you work to get it out of him).

W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)

Has considered jealousy sex.. On multiple occassions. Only racked up the courage for it once. Just finds it too silly and stupid to do it any other time.

X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)

Uncut, six inches. His pubic hair is a slightly darker blond, but similar to his hair. Only keeps it trimmed since he just doesn't get the point to shaving. Too much drama for something that doesn't really cause any difference besides aesthetics.

Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)

Not high. It's non-existant, supposedly. It's mostly just due to the fact he chooses to ignore it instead of actually indulging himself in sexual pleasure though! Realistically, it's likely just a bit below average.

Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)

If he does go to sleep afterwards, it's likely after a couple of hours. He has a few things to do beforehand so he won't get to it immediately. Would definitely stick with you for a bit after you fall asleep though, even if he himself decides to not rest.
