Days where the county shuts down for hurricane/tropical stroms/bad storms always feel removed from time

And im not really sure what to do with that thought or feeling

And like I wouldn't have worked the last two days regardless but the others in the house would have, and were never all here this early into the day at the same time so it feels vaguely like a vacation but not

It's a weird suspension of doing like mostly normal things but also trying to be aware that we could lose power or internet or something and trying to be ready to adjust accordingly

#not as much today as yesterday #but its just #idk weird feeling #suspended and removed from the week #i think itll throw off how i feel the rest of the week since these days dont feel the same as usual off days #yesterday the power went off and on a couple times enough for us to just sort of stop anything we didnt want interrupted #and tjen theres also the dogs and trying to be mindful of the best times to force them out #idk where im going with all this i only recently woke up #which is ifs own weird feeling because usually i hate waking up at 9 when im off that just feels soo late #but it doesnt today it feels fine lmao #dont mind me #tag rambles #this storm wasnt as bad as it could have been but glancing on fb i can see plenty of people still had problems
