something taking inspiration from something else or being a retelling of something else is nottttt the same thing at all as published fanfiction. what has to be rotted in your brain to make you even allude to that being the same thing… people want everything to be fanfiction so bad and it’s NOT. even if you don’t like it that still doesn’t make it fanfiction just because you think it sucks…. i don’t like harry potter but you don’t see me logging on to call miss rowling out for it being the once and future king fanfiction. and it’s literally known and stated to be a retelling. see how i conduct myself with mindfulness and respect for facts even when i don’t personally like the Accused…. very mindful very demure! see how i get hung up on minute details of things people criticize despite them not even being the Point? now that’s more like a symptom but still i’m respectful <3
