Mid-Century Burst | CC-Free
A tricky little shell challenge that you can get some use out of too! Tried to dig into some 70s inspo for the exterior on this one. This is 2 bed, 1 bath, fully-furnished and CC-free. Because of the limited size of the main shell, I added a detached garage with an apartment on top, which adds +1 studio bedroom and +1 bathroom.
The TS4 shell challenge I used for this lot was called "BubbleShell3" on the gallery from the ID "bubblesisgaming". I'm also playing around with using random palette generators for room inspo, this time from ColorHunt. It's been fun and I recommend using it to get out of your comfort zone!

It cannae happen#so you're forced to add a FULL 10 tiles on both sides of the lot. but it made me play around with that extra space more than I would've#and I like the garage & granny flat and shed and outdoor areas I added!#kicking my feet and writing 'shell challenges' in a big heart in my diary with glitter pen#also the randomly-generated colour palette thing is sooo interesting and challenging with a CC-free game#because at every stage there's a point where you're like 'there just isn't any way I'm gonna find swatches that match this'#and then you inevitably find ONE thing that pulls it all together and it's sooo satisfying and it ends up looking so different from my usua

I will always have a soft spot for spacedolls, they are absolutely precious and work perfectly pretty much every time I've seen them, either in productions or fanworks, very unproblematic easy to love ship! I think spacedolls as a canon ship is such a cute addition to rtc productions, the script really lends itself to them and it's so sweet, overall absolute cuties I love them <3
Recently I've started getting into sugarspace, I think they are precious and perfect and so much fun, they have such a silly dynamic and I think them together makes a lot of sense!! Also, love a ship that looks straight but is in fact the most queer to ever, love some bi4bi ships and they have so much potential, I do want to try writing them soon :)
I will say too, I always absolutely adore when there's spacerap or bachelor party in productions, I don't usually tend to go that way with fics (although I do dabble with some starrypoet here and there! I think they can be cuties) but whenever productions fuck around with Ricky ships I'm SO here for it, I think of all the ships to try and sneak in to productions, Ricky ships I love <3

it took me until dt to change rudy's hairstyle, but i ACTUALLY think he would've cut it back in post-stb when he became a reaper. the trope of "character cuts hair to feel more in control of their life" is cliché but REAL. and also the visual of him cutting it with his scythe is fun

just watched the brazilian production of matilda the musical and to the surprise of no one i cried. to the surprise of some, 4 times.
#it was soooo good#i love matilda so much#in all its forms#but especially the musical#i went to london when i was 13 and my parents asked me if there was anything i wanted to do and they’d see if they could fit it#and i asked to see matilda the musical in the west end#it was too expensive for the whole family to go to but my mom took me#it was amazing i’ll never forget seeing when i grow up live and just bursting into tears#and now it’s 8 years later and i took my mom (and my aunt) to watch the brazilian production and it was just as great#i cried a few minutes into miracle then in school song for some reason? and then when i grow up of course and finally at the encore#also the set design was insane#the stage was like a circle with big letters spelling matilda…#but when they brought a certain letter upfront and showed its back it made up a different setting like matilda’s room or miss honey’s house#it was so freaking cool like please search pictures#also unrelated but mrs wormwood did a silent bend and snap at some point in the beginning of the show and i laughed so hard#no one else did but it’s okay myra i saw it and i appreciate it#(myra ruiz played mrs wormwood and fabi bang ms honey)#(if these names seem familiar to you it’s cause they’re the incredibly iconic brazilian elphaba and glinda respectively)#my post#matilda#matilda the musical
