ok. we are officially listening to the two additional tracks. trying to comprehend kind of failing here but we're doing it so first up. Araraari Raaro (titles the same for two of the versions)/Nallaani Cheekatilo. i literally cannot tell you when in the film this would show up maybe during the Deepika arc or the final climax idk but that bridge. that f*cking bridge my God. i have chills. Deepthi sounds so good the Hindi sounds so good the Tamil and Telugu sound even better WHAT. sorry to Zinda Banda and Chaleya and Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya but she's everything to me that's her ty for not releasing this as a single bc i would have lost my mind confirmed already struggling to pry myself away from this song to listen to the other one

Faraata/Pattasa/Garaata is the semi-party/Afro-esque(? at least to me) bop but you need to be in the mood to vibe for it. you need to have the atmosphere for the body rolls. kid you not i could not figure out the tempo for the first fifteen seconds and it was f*cking with me so i listened to the drums in the back and then i was like 'OH' and restarted the song. unfortunately for Arijit the Hindi is my least favorite version maybe bc of Badshah just showing up a third of the way through. i saw him on the credits so i expected it but not like that? ig? the problem is tho the mixing is notably better in that version than for the Tamil and now i'm slightly pissed bc they took the best part from her. the back and forth of the nagara? dhol? chenda(? i think? it's probably something i can't recall the name of rn) in my headphones is very much muddied. at least Telugu escaped most of the brunt of the f*ck up and Arivu sounds good rapping in both this and the Tamil but it's still there Anirudh what did you do. why would you do that to her. and with Nakash singing too what were you thinking in post-production i expected more

as for the title track it slaps but we expected that since it's an extended version of the prevue theme they had released the first time around. it's better than Pathaan's official theme imo like ik you can't exactly sing running with King Khan bullets rain down like it's thunder ready or not she got the glock she'll put you under you know we game time on the front lines till it's over deep in the trenches for you like a soldier when Jim is trying to blow sh*t up and Rubi is on his trail but ykw maybe you should have and that's just the tea

they released the full Jawan soundtrack two days before the film drops in theaters. these f*ckers are insane
