oh you KNOW i've been thinkin about Arc-V Pokemon teams BIGLY AND A LOT here's my personal spread for Yuya:

I LIKE FLYGON FOR HIM, I SEE IT but personally I think I'm gonna give a shiny one to Yugo (it reminds me a lot of clear wing lol) and I dont like to double up in the same series, so I wanted to give myself a challenge >:3c

reasonings:

Zygarde 20%: i think it's fun giving him one of the 'incomplete' Zygarde forms since he himself is an incomplete piece of Zarc

Tyrantrum: He needs a terrestrial Dragon type, huge, since Odd-Eyes is the only dimensional dragon who doesn't fly... Odd-Eyes is also very dinosaur like to me :^) Plus the king motif and it's even red too!!

Delphox: challenging myself to give at least all of the yuboys a fully evolved starter, and I really like delphox for Yuya...invokes stargazer and timegazer magician and all the other Spellcasters in his deck, the showmanship of fire, powerful supernatural abilities. also yuya with a fennekin is SOOO cute

Hippopotas: Hip Hippo, of course!

Gengar: he needs something smiley, and Gengars got that prankster mischief energy that I think could play nice on a Yuya team. Plus it being a spooky purple ghost for the purple Zarc Energy. Mega Gengar is even stated to be able to travel to other dimensions <3

Roaring Moon: for Awakened!Yuya and Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon, monstrous violent dragon that bares a striking similarity to another Pokemon from another region, another world...hmmmmm who does that sound like.....

☆ MORE WELCOME HOME HEADCANONS CAUSE I'M HYPERFIXATING >:3c

So... It's canon that the neighbours pick Wally up and that he likes to be held. Sometimes randomly, other times because he asks. However, I headcanon that Wally asks to be picked up just by putting his arms up: everyone in the town just knows what this means. Eddie, though, forgets about this. I imagine a moment where Wally sees Eddie walking and puts his arms up. The mailman looks at him, confused, then goes:"Oh!" and gives him two high fives before walking away to deliver the mail and whistling. Wally is left there with his arms up. he watches his hands like "👁v💧👁" and then watches as Eddie walks away.

Wally's swirly hair is bouncy. Barnaby loves to just pat the hair and say "Boing bo-boing." Wally hates when people touch his hair, but he likes to hear Barnaby laugh so he lets him do it.

Speaking about Wally's hair, he loves having a hair morning routine every single day, it's a routine that brings him joy, to him doing his hair means starting his day. He's never seen without his hair done, if he couldn't do it the day would be totally ruined, he would have a meltdown (when he has a meltdown he just goes non verbal and stays home all day. Home probably tries to cheer him up, too.)

Polly is very mother. She takes care of everyone in the town as if they're her children. The neighbours often visit her since she's so pleasant, it's like visting grandma's house! Whenever someone visits her she can't help but start cooking them something. The neighbours always so "Oh, don't bother," or "You don't have to really," but she feels like she has to, it's in her mother instincts!

I have headcanons for the character's music tastes: Wally likes soft love or romantic songs: he listens to them as he draws and moves his feet up and down, he hums aswell. Barnaby likes to listen to jazz because it's improvised, fun and nice to vibe to. Eddie likes rock music: he probably stims to it and definitely pretends to play a guitar every time. Poppy likes to listen to pop songs, especially ones made and sung by female artists. Julie likes them aswell, especially the more upbeat ones. Whenever she comes over they probably sing and dance together. Frank likes classical music, especially while gardening, reading or studying. Home loves lullabies, who Wally sings, Howdy likes to listen to the same songs that play at his store, kind of like elevator music and, at last, Sally listens to dramatic music: she loves to immerse in it, imagine scenarios and act as if she's in a play.

Barnaby is a heavy sleeper, and a loud one too. He snores a lot.

Wally often has nightmares that he wakes up from in the middle of the night. Whenever this happens he goes to Barnaby's house, crawls in his bed and sleeps with him. It's the only thing that stops him from having nightmares. Surprisingly he doesn't mind his snoring too, since he likes having someone making sounds as he sleeps. It's comforting to him, because it means they're there. He also thinks Barnaby is very comfy considering his fur and size. The dog is used to waking up some days and see Wally there, it happened many times. Since it doesn't wake him up he doesn't mind it: whatever helps his friend is ok with him. Barnaby also believes Wally's nightmares are pretty standard, but they're actually gorey and dark and are, mostly, about his friends dying and stuff, or waking up one day to a desert town, which is why it upsets Wally so much.

Wally has people pleasing tendencies. He just wants to make friends with anyone he meets, which is why he's so friendly and nice. However, don't be fooled, this doesn't mean you can trample all over him. Sure, he doesn't vocally set boundaries, but if you do something to hurt his feelings he's gonna get his revenge... in other indirect ways. He's also often scared that his neighbours wouldn't be friends with him if he wasn't like this, which is why he often feels resentment. He's wrong though: his neighbours would totally still love him.

One time, as Frank and Julie were playing together like always, she said something like:"Oh Frank, why are you always so angry all the time? Be more like Wally! He's never upset at anything, that man is always so happy," she then started to wonder: "why, I don't think I've ever seen Wally be truly angry at something. Do you think he can't just feel anger, Frank?" she asked. "Of course he can, everyone feels emotions, silly. All of them. I do have to say though, I'm curious to see Wally angry." They organized a plan to make Wally angry and watched inside Howdy's store from the window in secret as they executed it: Wally came up to Howdy and gave him the posters he drew for the store. Howdy acted out the plan:"Seriously? These are so ugly," he stated as he started to make up things to criticize, "I will not accept them, you need to do a better job." He then looked at Wally who had an indescribable look on his face: he thought he was about to yell or something but, instead, he started to silently cry. Everyone panicked: Julie and Frank immediately ran up to the little guy, she hugged him tightly while Frank continously apologized. Howdy started giving him all the apples he had in his store to try and cheer him up... They decided they were not going to try to make Wally mad ever again.

I headcanon Wally to be aroace and poly. He feels strong platonic affection to all the people he makes friends with, he wouldn't like the classic idea of relationships. Why would you love two people differently? to him love should be equally shared!

OK, last ask and as promised its fun Sailor V atuff!

Minako is easily one of my favorite magical girls & characters ever. Her usual response to her duties was treating them like a shitty part time job she wasn't paid for. Even trying to convince Artemis to start paying her in cool stuff, but she also liked humiliating the police by catching burglars and such.

She also tended to respond to most monsters with a sort of beleaguered annoyance over fear or disgust; unless they did something to piss her off, which usually had less to do with the villainy and more to do with obstructing some other aspect of her personal life.

She was the first girl to enter the Crown Arcade and not just cos Motoki was cute but mostly cos she loved gaming. A local guy got very upset about his "Palace for lonely boys" being invaded & was real gross and got beaten up for it.

Minako was rather interestingly, regarded as an intense tomboy and is something of a jock. She's the one her classmates look to when they need to win a sporting competition, though her mother doesn't approve, least of all of her penchant of climbing fences to cut the trek home.

The Dark Agency was quite fun because they actually cared about making money as well as stealing energy and conquering the world. We also saw at least 4 Youma with seemingly no connection to the agency just in the wild, Nyan Nyan, Wan Wan and Chuu Chuu, as well as a Karaoke themed Youma who seemingly got born that very day.

So much potential and juicy world building in all that >:3c

Also the Superintendent-General of the Metropolitan Police Board Natsuna Sakurada was a huge fan of Sailor V and ended up befriending Minako by accident when both were doing a celebrity, fandom thing & Minako gave her guidance on the rules & regs for fandom. She may have been related to Usagi's teacher and possibly some characters from other works by the same creator. Which could create a hilarious crossover.

Honestly I never did get around to her solo series but I really should it sounds fantastic

Who has a Corruption Kink?

CW: Corruption kink, mentions of virginity as a concept, Octavinelle being like that™, knife kink (you get three guesses as to who this is for. If you guessed Jade, you're right), mild sadism, everything is safe, sane, and consensual!

Note: All characters are depicted as being in their mid to late twenties!

Flat out not into it/squicked: Ace, Trey, Vil (he's a lil weirded out by the virginity aspect but doesn't mind other forms of corruption kink even if he doesn't get off on it).

Doesn't get off on it but might do it for a partner if he knows it gets them off: Riddle, Deuce, Cater, Leona, Ruggie, Rook (overlaps with other kinks so yes and no? It's not really the corruption aspect that interests him, it's the control aspect instead), Epel, Silver, Lilia.

Jack Howl

This is probably not who anyone thinks this list is going to start off with, but allow me to explain. It's less so that Jack likes the idea of corrupting someone else, moreso that he likes the idea of being corrupted by someone else.

Jack isn't a particularly adventurous person by nature-- he knows what he likes and he usually sticks to that handful of things. However, the idea of having someone he trusts so thoroughly to guide him into new experiences that he might not have even thought of previously appeals to him deeply. There are a lot of things that he wouldn't have thought he would like that he found enjoyable after giving it a shot, but he still struggles to broaden his own horizons. Having someone who helps him to push himself and take those steps to experiment and open up his mind a little more to the kinds of sex he could be having sounds very nice. And it's only a bonus if he thinks about being praised for being good for trying those new things. He's got a surprisingly submissive streak.

Azul Ashengrotto

Azul loves to be seen as competent, respected, and gracious. He's more than willing to be patient for it, after all, good things come with time. It could be a lot of things, really-- the confidence boost he would get knowing that he was the first person that his partner trusted enough to take their virginity or that they simply trust him to be in control of the situation. Truthfully there's nothing he likes more than to be in control, utterly and completely. He loves the idea that he gets to show them what it means to feel good, and he gets to be the person who gets to show them new highs that they will be begging him to feel again.

Jade Leech

While I agree that Jade probably does have a corruption kink to some extent, I don't think it's probably top of his list. It probably only really shows up in the start of a relationship-- after all, he's into some relatively depraved shit, so his partner would have to learn to be just a little bit fucked up pretty quickly.

It definitely turns him on, though, the idea of getting to teach them how they can amplify their pleasure with pain and fear. Working them up to the point where they're mumbling things they want him to do to them. Tie them up and jerk them off with a knife pressed against their throat or pin them down and threaten them while he fucks them. It might not be something that he does all that often, but it's a fun thing that he has in his toolkit.

Floyd Leech

Floyd just really likes the idea of getting to see someone snap. He just loves to watch them lose their composure after they have been clinging to it for so, so long. Flirting with them and pushing them just enough that they get frustrated and end up asking for more because even if they would never do this for anyone else, they don't want it to stop. He loves to think about being the one to put a thought in their head and getting to watch as they can't get the idea out of their head until they can't take it anymore because they want it so badly. He loves the idea of seeing them taken apart-- on their knees and begging for him. He just wants to make them feel good and for them to know that they are always, always safe with him.

Kalim Al-Asim

Kalim is vanilla... on his own. The fact that he has a corruption kink isn't something that he's likely to discover on his own, but with the right partner, he would find that he really likes the idea of becoming the best he can be for them. And if that means they want him to learn how to be a slut... he can do that. The idea of reaching the point where he's so desperate for his partner that he'd grind on their thighs or beg them to fuck him in public because he can't wait long enough to get home. Even the idea of some of the aforementioned things would be enough to start pushing him into subspace.

Jamil Viper

For Jamil, it's also very much a control thing. He, like Azul, loves to be in control. His, however, comes in tandem with his sadistic streak. He loves the idea of getting to see a partner evolve from being shy and reserve to being someone who will kneel for him and beg him to let them cum. He loves the idea of a partner who seeks his praise and wants him to push them to new heights of pleasure. And he really likes the idea of a partner who wants his mean streak on full display.

Idia Shroud

(Is anyone really surprised by this one? I swear Idia makes it on every one of these lists...)

Idia is attracted to both the idea of being the one doing the corruption and to the idea of being the one being corrupted. After all, he's essentially a virgin even if he has lost his virginity. The idea of innocence is a big part of the appeal for him (both virginity and just in general). He likes the idea of him or a partner starting off shy (because God knows he's already shy) and timid to touch and slowly transforming into someone who can't stop thinking about sex. He likes the thought of being unable to get enough-- of being shown the possibilities and being positively ruined for everything else because he's been trained to get horny at a variety of signals and he just can't escape the thought of his partner. (Or vise versa)

Malleus Draconia

You would be forgiven for thinking he would be the one wanting to do the corrupting. After all, he's a damn near all-powerful fae prince who can control the elements and loves to toy with others. That is absolutely not what would get him off though. He could play that role of course, but what would really do it for him is the idea of being corrupted. He is sheltered, and he knows he's sheltered. He knows that there's a lot he still doesn't know, and he finds the idea of a partner who is more experienced kind of sexy.

He likes the idea of him being naive and them being intelligent-- knows that there's a power dynamic there but also knowing that he's safe with them. Knowing that he's seen through and through and they would never do anything to hurt him but also knows how to push him just enough to pull some amazing orgasms out of him. He likes the idea of them corrupting his mind and ruining his pride, because he likes the idea of not quite knowing where he begins and they end. There's something intimate about the idea of being so known and having himself so entangled with someone else.

Sebek Zigvolt

Sebek is another one that, while he could play the part of corruptor, it's much hotter as a concept if he's the one being corrupted. And he's certainly one of the more out there ones-- he'd be more than willing to let himself be degraded and put into positions he would never have thought of simply because he learns how intoxicating it is to let them have control. He's fiercely protective of them. He might not be a draconic fae, but they're his treasure, and he would, in turn, do anything for them they asked. If that means opening his mouth for someone who isn't them or letting them bring someone else in to thoroughly ruin him, he wouldn't object to it. It's a control thing, and he's starting to learn how much he enjoys not being the one in control.

v clung onto sleep this morning, comfortably lying on her stomach with one cheek pressed to her pillow. she remained in this position in an attempt to drift off again. a futile attempt as it did not go unnoticed with her roommate - brainmate. "did ya dream about me?" his voice reverberated in her skull, low and rough at the edges as if his own dreams had chipped away at it. v gripped her pillow a little tighter, she really needed to wash these sheets. there was also weight on the mattress beside her; nibbles most likely. "wouldnt blame ya for wantin to go back to sleep." she heard the cockiness in his voice but it didnt frustrate her. he wasn't mocking her; it was flirtatious banter. "like that hm? so smitten with ya, spendin all my waking hours with ya isnt enough?" she lifted her weight up with both her arms, just to collapse back onto the bed, face first into the pillow. the weight also shifted but v did not think to look; this felt nice. "didn't tune in this time?" she answered, her voice slightly muffled by the pillow. "nah. i got some of your memories. bummer, your wet dreams are always so entertaining." johnny replied and there was movement again, it clearly wasn't nibbles since the size didn't fit but v wasn't connecting the dots. "there is plenty of sex in there, maybe one day you will get lucky." she shrugged and raised one hand to her head to scratch her scalp. "yeah, turns out you used to have fun sometimes." there was a certain tinge to his voice that v couldn't quite place but seemed familiar nonetheless. her brow knit together in confusion as the sudden change in tone threw her off. movement again, this time the weight was lifted from the bed. she open her eyes to scan the room for his figure. after a few moments the sound of nibbles scratching on her apartment door, asking to be let in almost startled her. disappointment or maybe regret settled into her chest now.

it had only been about a week since they escaped; from their childhood home, their parents and their torment. the final confrontation between their father and v had cost her an eye and him a wounded ego. the twins knew however that their tormentors would not just let them leave and so they had to stay on the move; be a pair of ghosts until they turned eighteen and would be truly free. their new way of living had already taken it's toll, they had nowhere to stay; all the homeless shelters were stock full and even if they weren't they couldn't risk having the badges called on them. "why cant we just stay with the doc? he helped us and he seems nice." vincent asked as he wrapped his arms around his body in an attempt to keep what warmth he had. v only replied with a grumble, she didn't like the thought; they were already in debt to him after he tended to her wounds. "he said he'd help us." there was hopefulness in his voice or maybe naivety; he truly believed his words. when his sister didn't reply he looked upward, scanning the lit windows and wondering what the people in their flats were doing. v had set down a piece of cardboard for them to rest on and finally replied. "dont trust him." she said. "who just helps someone without expecting anything in return?" her pessimism didn't surprise him but the answer was clear to vincent: a good person. his gaze was still directed upward and v indulged as well. "i wanna go home." he mumbled more to himself but it didn't escape her. the statement shot a bolt of unidentifiable emotions through her body. she cant go back. not to that place. not to those people. she had finally broken free of her prison and she would rather freeze to death on the streets than die a coward in the house she grew up in. vincent could felt her reaction; their bond had strengthened over the years of having only each other. v didn't believe in the esoteric side of twin bond but he could feel it every day: her joy lifting his own spirits, her despair deepening his own, her anger seeping into him. "we don't have a home." she finally spoke, bitterness radiating from every syllable; he could almost taste the bile. he finally looked at her again and his eyes were drawn to the dirty bandage wrapped around her head, concealing the wound where her left eye used to be. v noticed his gaze and turned away from him. he leaned against the wall and slid down to sit on the cardboard, one hand grabbing hers to pull her down with him. she followed to sit next to him, huddling together. "we can find one. make one." v slung her arm around him, cradling his head in her palm and he allowed her to pull it down to rest on her shoulder. "tomorrow." she nuzzled the top of his head with her face. "get some rest, i'll keep watch."

(I had to take this off of the official numbered list because my rambles are just too rambly, and tumblr started yelling at me......) 1.) my beautiful cinnamon roll too good for this world fave: Bennett!! Bennett, Bennett, Bennett, I choose Bennett-- Also Chongyun and Freminent. Somft boys. Doing their best. Also could kick your ass. Also I have all of them. :3c (...Very sad that I had to take Chongyun off my main team, because Bennett's about to C6 and render him useless.)

2.) my trash-shit fave: I have no idea what this means, but I'm gonna guess that Dottore and Scaramouche belong here-- Especially Dottore; he's the guy giving me the MOST brainworms right now. (But I can't share most of the brainworms because I'd have to explain all the reasons why my version of him turned out the way he did, then be told I'm wrong anyway, so.) Anyways, I love Scaramouche/Wanderer's entire story, I love that he Has Problems but those problems aren't JUST that he's a little asshole bitch for no reason like fandom keeps trying to claim. Also I want!! Playable Dottore!! I want him so bad. Sure sure, to some people having him redeemed would be soooooo boring, but- Personally, I only have a certain amount of fun with villains that are villains for the evulz, and I LOVE characters with Potential (potential for both better and worse, sometimes even for the same reasons); also a lot of certain little details about Dottore gives me the vibes that he isn't the one-note crazy man basically everyone writes him as, which is apparently, supposedly backed up by the actual og Chinese writing of a few things. And I genuinely think that ANY way they go about redeeming him/making him playable -- be it revealing Tragic Backstory reasons, or a begrudging process, or "well I've decided I like and respect you, so sure, I'll behave, for now >:)" -- would be interesting no matter what they go for!! ...I'm genuinely gonna cry a bit if they do opt to just kill him off ;v; but if Gensh goes that route, I do hope it's at least to an epic boss fight or something. Full monster transformation, if possible.

3.) my I love to hate them fave: God, I have no idea, I'm not usually the type outside of very specific characters. I guess Signora might qualify? ...I'm not gonna earn much love with that one-- She's just, like...tragic backstory? Check. Pretty lady with beautiful theming and massive tits? Check. Front-story bitch? Yeah that's pretty fun! ...Why is it so hard to force her character to shift in writeys. Like, even thinking about alternate ways events could go on my own, it's like...she owns her own girlboss so hard, it borders on Ungrateful behavior (which tends to be one of the few kinds of behaviors characters can have that grind on my nerves). Apparently there's a chance she might get revived in Natlan, and honestly I'm hoping. I don't think it'll be the worst thing in the world if it doesn't happen, but I sure would like the excuse to put her back in the oven to bake some more, without having to wait for my brain to become actually hooked on her to do it.

4.) my I hate to love them fave: This one's gonna sound weird; Faruzan. ...Okay, okay, let me explain- So, y'all know how Faruzan had a boosted drop rate when Wanderer was first released? (...And I think it happened again when his banner came back around, but that's not important--) I was. SO. DAMN. DESPERATE. to get Wanderer. I had picked out a name for him months in advance (well, tentatively; some leaks a friend was looking at said you could name him, and I wasn't 100% convinced but I wanted to be PREPARED in case it really was true, and then it was!), both of my friends (including Devoid here <3) were pulling for him as well, and both got him before I did, which intensified my desire to get him. I had been saving up. I was doing SO MANY TEN PULLS. And I got. SO. MANY. FARUZANS. I think I had one ten pull that was, like, four Faruzans in a row. I had her C6'd extremely early on into my pulls, and then she just kept showing up. It was driving me mad. I don't really get too bothered by a character's in-game actions unless they're a specific kind of irksome, but messing with my pulls? That bothers me a lot-- Eventually I did get Wanderer, but I'd also gotten like...twenty or forty Faruzans in the process or something like that. It was ridiculous. And I was all set to just hate her forever. ...But then, like...her hangout comes out and that was really good. And then the event with Wanderer, Kaveh, Tighnari, and everyone happened, and THAT was also really good, and she's so affectionate towards Collei and hnnnnnn...Why's she have to be such a good character with such great taste in other characters?? Save me--

5.) my I wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire non-fave: So, you know how I said that character actions don't tend to bother me outside of certain traits? Fucking. Royce. I hate Royce. I mean- I view Benny's entire ex-team rather unfavorably, but Royce's "almost-has-a-realization-just-to-backtrack-and-yell-at-Benny-again" behavior drives me up the goddamn wall. I'm sure there's other NPCs that piss me off but no one else I can remember by actual actions or name. I do have some playable characters I don't really like at all, but this category is very strongly worded for those feelings. (No hate to any Royce fans out there >////////< And also apologies, but this is probably the only time I'm gonna talk about him anyway, at least by name)

6.) my I didn’t care about them either way at first but the fandom makes such a big deal about them now I can’t stand them non-fave: I've been avoiding most fandom content precisely for this reason!! (...Unfortunately I've still gotten exposed to a bunch of shitty fan takes, but it for the most part hasn't shaken my character opinions much. My ship opinions however...) ...The most popular takes of Scaramouche and Dottore (by fans and non-fans alike) have only further solidified my personal vibes of wanting them more sympathetic and avoiding one-note portrayals like the plague. Signora has been on thin ice for a while because so many people are really fucking aggravating in regards to her, but she's yet to budge because I do feel mildly compelled about her. So hopefully that sticks. But I WILL absolutely despise Capitano out of sheer fan spite if he's revealed to be the 1st Harbinger, and there's a ~secret 10th Harbinger~, that is just, like...It's almost kinda neat, but so many people are being so bullheaded and shitty about it (mostly on reddit, I think), to the point it's invaded the wiki that I otherwise really respect for all the work that goes into it, that he just better fucking be the 10th or I will be UPSET.

7.) my I could take them or leave them kinda non-fave: Honestly, most of the cast. Up until about Sumeru, I really only cared about 2-5 characters per nation. Then with Sumeru and Fontaine, they've really knocked it out of the park with characters I absolutely adore and only one or two that kinda just fade out of my memory. I won't say which ones. !!!!!! IMPORTANT NOTE!! This has nothing to do with writing quality or design quality or "oh my subjective opinion is absolute fact and anyone who disagrees with me is a dumb stupid idiot with no taste" or anything like that- It's just that I wasn't vibing too strongly with most characters; not for any necessary particular reason or failure on Mihoyo's part or anything like that. Just how it turned out.

8.) my I will go down with this ship and I won’t put my hands up and surrender, there will be no white flag above my door. I’m in love and always will be fave ship: Dottore x Scaramouche is my BIGGEST ship right now, especially onesided. Especially reluctantly reciprocated. Primarily on Dottore's side. Also Fem Traveler/Lumine/Lillian x Everyone. Also Enjou x his weird "go ahead and beat me up" fetish-- Keep being funky you strange, fiery demon man. Love him. (Also Alhaitham x Kaveh, though I generally don't like looking at the fandom art for it unless my friend handpicks out the art for me, because their ver of Kaveh did irreversible damage to my brain and now when I see trans!Alhaitham and cis!Kaveh, my brain gets SO CONFUSED. It's just like "????? But that should be reversed, tho, obviously???" Like...no brain...it's not obvious. It's fine. You're just Attached.)

9.) my dirtybadwrong fave ship: Apparently Scaramouche/Kabukimono x Niwa is real controversial, which is very sad because I fucking love it, and also it seems like such an obvious and easy-to-like pick to me :P Also Kaeya x Diluc, which I know would/will? get me headhunted if this post shows up for the majority of the fandom. I'm probably forgetting a good amount of ships at the moment, but... (+ Bonus for both 8 and 9, but my extra myriad of Dottore ships where I'd probably have to explain how I ended up where I ended up, which means I'd have to explain the way I write Dottore, which means I'd have to explain-) ...Also Neuvillette x Furina APPARENTLY fucking qualifies, because as we all know, if the girl is short and cute and femme, she's automatically a child!! :) Don't y'all totes know she's Neuvillette's little baby girl daughter and not an adult and totally wasn't RUNNING AN ENTIRE NATION AS THEIR ARCHON for LITERAL FUCKING CENTURIES? Nope! Neuvillette, the person that totally wasn't working under her that entire time, has all the power in that dynamic, and totes sees her as a daughter, so it's problematic!!

10.) my they’re cute together and I dig them but I’m not all that terribly invested kinda fave ship: Most ships in the fandom, tbh. See- the problem is I don't really like protag Aether takes, and I'm just amicable to about 70% of the cast. And I might be a massive multishipping slut with few standards, but I do need to Feel Something towards characters to then Feel Something towards the ships, and when the general vibes I have with a character is "ah, they're neat" or "I like 'em well enough" or even "I don't really like them", that's just the kind of ~amicable vibes~ that lends to me going "that's cute! ...Anyway"

11.) my I didn’t care about this ship either way at first but the fandom makes such a big deal about it now I can’t stand it non-fave ship: Well, I have two. I won't say one because I think my vaguing gets more obvious if I say it outright, but someone I was following seriously bashed [ship I like a lot] while going "why dont people like THIS ship instead??? It's WAY BETTER!!", and. lemme tell you. If you want me to UTTERLY DESPISE your fave character or ship, the best way to do that is praise your fave while bashing another character or ship!! Fuck me, it doesnt even have to be a character or ship I even like, but for some reason it always fucking is. Like the sheer amount of people that go "Why dont people like [character] more??? They're much better than ITTO!!" like. 1. fuck you. 2. Itto has a MUCH LOUDER presence than whatever character you're trying to praise. 3. why does everyone always try to go after [specific ship I like a lot], or Itto? It's always them. Like they're making some big sweeping statement of "oh THAT dumb thing is getting attention for no reason!!" when like...entertainment factor, you knuckleheads. They're just onscreen and instantly make an impression. I'm really, really sorry your fave doesn't get as much attention, I get it, I really do, I've had barely popular/outright bashed faves before, but y'all actively hurt your case rather than helping it when you try to tear other characters/ships down to build yours up. I get that you're frustrated, but it's not fucking helping. Cut that shit out and then get back to me. Anyways. The other one that bothers the shit out of me for far more petty reasons is Wriothesley x Neuvillette, which. I feel bad about, to be fair. I feel sorta guilty for not liking it, because it definitely has potential. There's just one problem-- one of my biggest fucking pet peeves is ship bashing/attempted ship sinking (-gestures at my sarcasm a bit earlier-, which also sums up half of why I despise "child-coding" and "oh!! this small girl character is TOTES the daughter to these two gay men and definitely not responsible or mature in her own right uwu totally needs to be babysat by her two gay dads!!") in conjunction with people obsessing over other ships, and with Wriotheo and Nuevy, it started BEFORE the update happened and we actually saw any interactions. Like. I get it. They're two hot men and gay ships are hella popular. But with it occurring way before the update, thus way before any canonical interactions, it just felt like people were fucking desperate to make sure neither character could be straight-shipped with the two "children" they were actually working with (two full-ass adults, Furina and Sigewinne), which just drives me up the fucking wall. (And I can understand being uncomfortable with shipping characters that kinda resemble children, but I've seen way too many people go above and beyond any reasonable reaction to that sorta thing.) I want to like this ship. I really do. It could definitely be really good. But it's gonna take, like, a year or two, when we're in Snezhnaya and my frustration becomes a petty dumb memory instead of something I want to rant over. (...I'm sure this is gonna come back to bite me pretty hard, 'cause if this post makes the rounds people are gonna rush to be like "oh you're not OPPRESSED by gay ships!!" -> No one ever says they are unless they're a real smooth-brained fuckhead, "Oh, so we can't just have fun anymore??" -> I'm apparently not allowed to have fun, so neither are y'all. :\ If I can take fifty-million fans constantly trying to call me a terrible person for liking any of the ships and characters and takes I like, y'all can take one "this got on my nerves and I'm still mad even though I know it's dumb and petty")

12.) my MAKE IT STOP non-fave ship: Ready for me to burn another bridge? ...Can't stand Yae Miko x Raiden Shogun. Like- I see it, I absolutely see it, and I think it absolutely works, but. well. guess what? Guess that happened?? Shitty fans. Shitty fans that INSIST Yae Miko is canonically a man-hating lesbian and froth at the mouth if you dare even imply she MIGHT be the tiniest bit interested in a guy. I can't quite articulate how much I HAAAAATE when people try to claim their headcanon as canon and then treat other fans like shit for "violating canon" (that doesn't actually exist -- and god, even if it did, some of the behavior I've seen really goes above and beyond any realm of acceptability), and yeah. This is one of the biggest offenders. In general, I've noticed way more vitriol and toxicity out of f/f fans than any other kind of fan lately, and that is...ugh. again, I get it. Out of the ship combinations, f/f is probably the least popular in general and all that, and when you feel like your favorite stuff is getting passed over again and again for stuff you can't see the appeal in (trust me, I can relate, I've been in a LOT of fandoms), it's really, really frustrating. But also can we stop being shitty to other fans over subjective opinions? Fandom's supposed to be fun. I shouldn't feel like every other fan I follow would hate my guts over the pettiest of preference differences. (Yes this goes for more than just f/f fans, ofc, it's just those are the ones I've noticed the most recently.) !!! -> Please don't feel bad about liking any of the ships I listed ;v; For any reason-- I did Not put them down to shame anyone, and I don't judge anyone for liking ships and characters I don't like. I do judge behavior towards other fans, and if someone's really hostile to "competing" ships/characters, that also bothers me, but that's it. It's not the content itself that has or will ever bother me, so I really do hope no one who's reading this feels bad about their preferences...

Before I got extremely into Scaramouche (and then Dottore), Lumine/Lillian was my primary favorite character and the one I was focused on shipping with. She was also, like...the female character I liked the most, which I'm given to understand is an odd thing to say, I guess? Because western people don't usually like the protags of games?? Which is so weird to me. (<- Fresh off the Persona fandom where the Persona protags are also in my, like, top 5 characters of their respective games, and that is a hugely unpopular take for some reason.) (Though I guess I'm pretty weird in how I tend to play games and develop the protagonist's personality in my head + I usually prefer to play the fem character -> the fem protag of a game tends to be in my top 10 favorite characters)

For anyone curious, my preferences go m/f -> f/f -> m/m (least favorite), but that is also extremely arbitrary because of a few different factors, but primarily because I will write basically anything and everything. If I'm writing it and I'm having fun, then nothing bothers me, and I'll come up with all sorts of ships for all sorts of reasons. (Usually ships occur on a whim during rps, which then makes it hard to explain how I got to that result outside of rps...)

Anyways, I hope I explained my reasonings well enough m(_ _)m I could definitely ruffle more feathers if I, like, posted a character tier list or something, and I'm kinda tempted anyway, because...I dunno, a tiny part of my brain is like "hehe, stick it to the man >:3c", I guess? While it's not strictly a dating sim, it's a fun horror visual novel set in North Carolina — your player character is going back to the town of Scarlet Hollow for the funeral of your late mother’s estranged sister, where you meet your cousin Tabitha “Tabby” Scarlet (whom I adore so much in her crankiness) and a whole cast of wonderful other people while you discover what’s brought mysterious portents of doom back to the town, and your family’s role in it. The first chapter is free to play on steam, and there are four out right now (although I haven’t played the fourth yet myself!!), with lots of fun characters slated to be dating options. :3c I haven’t had my lock-in event yet, but I already have my favorite picked out ✨(I think it might even be part of the summer sale, if you like the first bit!!)

OMG this is a fun one!! i think medic is definitely WAY more pda-oriented than sniper!! medic won’t hesitate to throw his arm around sniper’s waist in public or pull him into his arms and lift him up and give him a squeeze and twirl him around and giggle and put him down… HEHEHE! he’d never do anything to Truly Embarrass sniper, but he does love making him blush!! Very Mischievous… >:3c sniper isn’t shy about showing his love for medic in public, though! he’s just a bit more subtle about it; he prefers to hook his finger in the back of medic’s pants/suspenders/belts and pull him into his lap, or come up behind him and rest his chin on medic’s shoulder and purr like a crocodile in his ear… nibbling at medic’s cheek or burying his nose in the gray hairs at his temple… hehehe…. >u<

Honestly i think the most Different thing about them is their views on like… professionalism and sadism. i’ve written a few mini fics about this and their individual thoughts on it a little more in-depth, but to keep it short, i think they both admire and respect one another’s capabilities as mercenaries and also don’t try to persuade the other to change. sniper loves medic when he’s giggly and when he’s sadistic, and medic loves sniper when he’s being softspoken and when he’s hunting people. they meet in the middle by meeting their lips together.., in a kiss… HEHEHE

OMG this is such a good one for spoovy because i feel like so much of their love for one another is expressed this way (and it’s how they both like it). not to say its “discreet because we’re ashamed” because i don’t think that’s true in any capacity. i think they both value their privacy and they like to keep the Intricacies of their relationship private! in battle, spy will always be watching heavy’s back; no backstabs on his watch! to announce his presence to his beloved, spy will (cloaked of course) run his middle finger across the expanse of heavy’s wide shoulders… very subtle, very light… but heavy always feels it… :’) in return, heavy always invites spy to lean on him. it’s not a natural stance for spy to do, but a heavy hand placed on spy’s hip always reminds him… and spy will lean into the crook of heavy’s strong arm or against his body… close his eyes and take a deep breath in through his nose and out of his mouth… heavy will hum and it’ll vibrate spy’s entire body… the sound/feeling instantly calms him down and makes spy feel at Peace…. <3

OMG OMG OMG…. okay well they are my second favorite ship Evar (bushmed being first)! i think they are so compatible… they bond over spy’s love for linguistics (and heavy’s love for speaking his primary language) and literature (heavy’s very passionate about it and so is spy)! but they’re both people who love to observe, preferring to be “in the background” of most conversations… heavy was the first one who took to Observing spy, kind of falling in love with him at a distance at first, but then once they started talking, they both immediately decided to date! i write about them semi-frequently in my bushmed fics and here’s a few passages i really like! ;u;

I think your ideal partner would be someone introverted, and very independent. I think you wouldn't go for the typical quiet moody intelligent guy/girl though (even though we all love them, as we should)

I think you also need someone who is interesting and adventurous, who doesn't mind putting themselves out there, and experiencing new things, getting out of their comfort zone.
