After hearing so many people talk about Epic the Musical, I've finally listened to some of the songs, and yeah, y'all were right, it is good.

I've only listened to a few(goodness, there's so many???) but so far Dangerous is my favorite one.

What are your favorite ones? I'm sure they're all pretty good but I don't want to listen to every one right now so I need some good suggestions

anyway, it's really good! I've just gotta brush up on my knowledge of the Odyssey again so I can actually understand the songs better

I'm so happy to hear that you're getting into Epic the Musical!!! It's so good! Literally ALL of it is so good.

I would always suggest listening to it in order to be the best way to go, for so many reasons. But a couple being: it makes more sense (especially if you aren't too familiar with the Odyssey), and a lot of the songs call back to other songs, and knowing the songs it calls back to makes the songs so much better. And you get more feelings out of it lol. Because when I tell you some of those call backs will hit you hard, they will hit you hard 😭 And when you aren't expecting it. That's something that makes Epic the Musical so amazing, is the way the writer wrote it and the just the amazing talent that was put into the music. Like, it's INSANE!

So yeah, I'd definitely suggest starting from the beginning and just going through it on order, just to get the best Epic experience. but if that isn't going to work for you, that's completely fine!

Choosing my favorite songs is genuinely so hard 😭 because I like, love all of them. But some of them are Just a Man (this was the first one I had heard before listening to the whole thing), Warrior of the Mind, Survive, Storm, Ruthlessness, Wouldn't You Like (if you really like Dangerous, you'll like that one too lol), No Longer You, Scylla, Legendary, and I'm going to stop before I literally name off every single song there is lol 😭

I was one of the Chilean winners to meet Paul McCartney and go to his soundcheck. My experience.

Well fellas, it's been a long time since i posted here and what can i say, i just wanted to give u the good news! As u read it, i had the chance (next to other people, 9 great fellow fans) to hug paul and share few minutes with him (As i write this all what i experienced feels unreal) I'm the one wearing the sgt pepper's suit btw!

I don't remember too much about the whole day, but the soundcheck was AMAZING, he played temporary secretary, mrs Vanderbilt, Let em in and Coming up!!it was CRAZY. Bf the soundcheck was over we were taken to another place in the stadium where we waited few minutes, and we talked with Stuart Bell (((((i joked a bit with him about he having the dream job and the possibility of k1ll1ng someone to be part of Paul's team and he told me 'HOW!? IT WAS A SECRET I TOLD U! ))))😂 Stuart is Paul's tour manager and we met his photographer and cameraman.

To be brief, let's jump right into meeting Paul, where do i start??? HE'S THE MOST ADORABLE MAN EVER, as soon as i saw him my eyes turned into waterfalls, my heart skipped a beat and all the memories of me binge watching videos and interviews of The Beatles crashed in my head. He greeted all the other winners and i didn't notice i was almost the last one, i was so shocked, too paralyzed to even say something, other winners told me Paul said something like 'Oh darling come on' and i just went slowly as i could to be near him and get a hug. I swear won't forget that moment. I HUGGED A BEATLE LIKE WHAAAAAATTT THE ACTUALLL HECKKK!!!! He share few words with everyone while the cameraman recorded everything. I feel that we were with him like 5 minutes but they -believe when i tell you- FELT LIKE 2 SECONDS. Then we took an official photo with Paul (which i'm kinda sad to receive bc i know my sgt peppers suit was totally hide behind two other girls who won, but hey, i'm in the same pic with Paul and that's enough!!) and lastly i had the chance to show him a bit of my work, i ordered some badges and stickers with my Beatle illustrations that i put on my suit and explained him stuff that i can't remember right now :'( But this is what finally made me lost my mind (internally bc for everyone is was just crying) LISTEN LISTEN, HE SAID MY WORK WAS """IMPRESSIVE""" AND HE TOUCHED THE STICKER WITH THE JOHN LENNON PORTRAIT I HAD ON THE SUIT, HE- TOUCHED- ONE- OF- MY- PORTRAITS AND HE RECOGNIZED THAT IT WAS JOHN READING SPANIARD IN THE WORKS. FFS, as i write this i start to sob. Then in a rush we sang the spanish version of 'Besame Mucho" a.k.a Cha Cha Boom song 😂 and then we all said goodbye as we could, waving, screaming, and in my case, crying hard af.

I really really hope to have a chance too see him in concert again, i know that the chance to be THAT near to him again, a literally walking legend, is almost impossible (as impossible as it feel the first time) i know i'm a lucky girl, and my life changed just having the chance to be in the same room with him. I won't be over this, there's now way this feels less exciting over the years. I was one of the few people that had the opportunity to be to his side -even if it was for a minute- and nothing is going to change that.

I have big dreams ahead, and i hope i'm able to accomplish every one of them. After hugging Paul everything feels possible.

CC!! Aaaaaahhhh! It was so good!! I’m still processing!! Louis started off a bit cool and distant and didn’t say much but the energy, enthusiasm and adoration of the entire crowd soon saw him in a hilarious mood. He had so many interactions, and seeing Louis giggle while singing is something I’ll always remember from last night. My mom and I were at the back of pit, right in the middle 3 persons away from that central barricade. The whole crowd was into the music and while it was a festival, I think everyone was there for Louis - so his comment that it’s not his show was an interesting reminder. It felt like a Louis concert, with a festival set list. What a set list. Banger after banger! HOTH as the fourth song was a fun surprise. I looooved the energy of Drag Me Down (the 1D songs were definitely a hit with the crowd but this one in particular), straight into JHO and then High in California. It was such a fun ride! I had a little giggle myself at “this is Face the Music” and thought of you 😇. Copy of a Copy was emotional and the crowd was loooud. The seamless transition to Walls put me through the wringer. And after that it felt like a whirlwind of jumping, singing, not wanting it to end but knowing the end is coming. I will keep this Saturdays in my heart, it was beautiful. And for Silver Tongues it felt like he didn’t want it to end either, he was on stage kicking the beach ball just before he came down to barricade. And eeeeeek, he really did come down the super narrow path in the middle of the crowd, right to the back. It was pure chaos, with red streamers and fireworks happening too… and it wasn’t a barricade he could jump up, so I just saw his head bop by and a flash of an arm. It must’ve felt like a car wash in there with arms from both sides. 😂 My bracelets found happy new owners, making me happy too. VIP Angie @persephoneflouwers and her sister were integral to my experience too, providing updates from a bird eye perspective of the fest throughout the day. 🫶🫶 And our fun times prior to the fest will remain favourite Istanbul memories too! I absolutely loved the visuals on the big main and 2 side screens. I knew some of them from livestreams but some felt new to me or hit differently when the are massive and in front of you. The 1-second lag was unfortunate but ultimately ok. It was warm with a breeze, Steve didn’t have to wear a tshirt, the site was seaside and Louis had a fabulous view of the illuminated Blue Mosque behind us. Crowd size felt smallish, pit (officially called front of stage) had about as many people in it as general admission. I’m glad he said he was pleased with the turnout… I was worried he might not be. Oh and Louis calling some dude giving him the middle finger dickhead and daft wasn’t on my bingo card… he was in full Tommo form, quick and biting. He never did end up doing his vodka shot with the good girl. And the moon, a tiny sliver of it was out, as were a few bright stars. I could go on and on. I DONT FEEL LIKE GOING HOME!!!

For some reason, I had the part of that song with Kodo and Kazama's final confrontation from Kazama-hen in my head today despite not having listened to it in quite a while... guess something's telling me that I should go watch Kazama-hen instead of Shinkai Hijikata-hen, which I've only seen the switching camera version of? 😂

Sannan: What are you trying to do in such a hurry?

Hijikata: That's right, Heisuke, come sit down over here.

Toudou: Eh? Um, I… have something urgent to do with Sano-san and Shinpach-san...

Hijikata: Harada and Shinpachi went out earlier. They were probably going to Shimabara anyway. There even enjoying themselves/fooling around during the day.

Toudou: No... damn it... those two left me behind!

Hijikata: Oh? What's wrong?

Toudou: No, it, it's nothing!

Hijikata: Is that so. Hey, Heisuke, quickly sit down.

Toudou: Ah! Right! Let me bring those two back.

Sannan: Bring back... is it?

Toudou: Seriously, Sano-san and Shinpach-san, they're really troublesome. Going to Shimabara in the middle of the day.

Hijikata: I guess you're going to go with them too.

Toudou: It's something they always do. Things like Sano-san boasting about the scar on his stomach and Shinpach-san bragging about his arm muscles. Ah, the other day/a few days ago, they were arm wrestling and the loser had to drink sake! It was really terrible.

Hijikata: What, you must been drinking with them too.

Toudou: Ah...

Sannan: Although I understand how you feel, it really is not commendable for a Shinsengumi executive to get drunk and then cause trouble in broad daylight.

Toudou: Ah, how should I put it, those two people insisted…

Sannan: If they insisted, then you should have refused even more. Rejecting other is a type of strength, Toudou-kun.

Hijikata: Be a bit more mature. Heisuke.

Toudou: What, why are you're saying that just to me! Are those two much better/Aren't those two more outrageous? Anyway, I have to bring Sano-san and Shinpach-san back!

Hijikata: In that case, there's no problem. The two of them didn't go out. T

Toudou: Huh?

Sannan: Thanks to Todou-kun, we now have a good idea of what Harada-kun and Nagakura-kun were secretly doing behind our backs.

Hijikta: Isn’t that better than going out to drink during the day?

Hijikata: Seriously. When will he start behaving like an adult/he grow up/get more mature? I can't help but think he's entirely driven by his emotions.

Okay LOVE LOVE LOVE Silver Bells. Thank you for making this Christmas so iconic with your fic and giving the fandom something to look forward to everyday💝 Literally has been such a highlight and I look forward to every chapter!

Anyways if you need any more inspiration or christmasy ideas I tried to think long and hard about ideas to give you, that were unique in some way. Think it's an okay list (some are basic but iconic so wanted to highlight and encourage 😂). If I can think of any more will let you know, but I hope any of these help!

>Christmas carols - I don't know how Americans do it but where I live adults and children (whoever knows how to play an instrument goes around usually violins / small portable cello? ) go caroling and we invite them inside and all the adults (carolers and the household) take a shot of vodka "to keep warm"  and then go off to the next house where they sing and are given more shots 

> I'm not religious myself but my parents are and we go to church and watch children put on a play and or sing carols. 

>Mistletoe kisses😌

> Something just feels more christmasy is just being more intentional with small acts of kindess

>Doing a fancy or silly photoshoot and then printing them out as christmas cards and sending them out to people - Lance may or may not tell Keith what the photos are for as like a funny suprise when Lance gift him and his friends their christmas cards or they can be more intentional and biker about the design choice on the card. 

>Along with Christmas cards, theres also christmas notes so just letters of gratitude to people. I've heard of people making then and tying them to a balloon too or burning them. 

>Building and decorating a gingerbread house. Me and my sisters usually take a side of the house to work on so each side looks different. There's a family I know who have like a competition where they put out graham crackers, chex mix, pretzels, marshmellow fluff, frosting, and a bunch of candies, etc  and you can either make a house or construct whatever they want. It could be a house, a train, fire truck, someone did like a harry potter quidditch stadium thing.

>Neighborhoods around me usually have a santa on a firstruck ride around with their sirens on and give out candy canes to people. 

>Christmas light walk/drive through, or going to those neighborhoods that go all out and even put on a lights show to music.

>Something more chill like making a holiday playlist, discovering new holiday songs, sometimes we dont put in christmas music but ones that we associate with the holidays. My sister and I share a spotify and she stubbornly puts "night changes" by One direction in my christmas playlist. 

>Reading christmas stories to children. 

>Christmas parades, tree lighting events, going bar hopping and trying their christmas drinks and shots. I don't drink alcohol anymore but still go out with friends and a lot of places make mocktails or make really good non-alcoholic drinks as well. 

>I think a lot of times "christmas time" traditions happen randomly with just things that you associate with the holiday time. Like me and my friend would come together and pick a random genre and read books from that genre during the holidays and that's become somewhat of a holiday tradition now. Maybe Lance can help Keith establish hos own little traditions like that? Idk how or if itll read well but just an idea to throw out there, maybe inspire you in someway. 

>Omg sleigh rides! I would die reading a chapter on them going on a horse carriage sleigh ride. But since they're romantic maybe have him invite everyone and then have no one else show up. Though I think they can be a bit expensive, at least in the city... idk about farms i think....maybe like it can be a whim of a moment thing where the person running it is having a slow night and just tells them to hop in or give them a discount. Also my city banned the horse carriage rides not too long ago, I think because of animal safty concerns 😔 which there's a bunch of discord about in general but it still it would be such a cute idea 🥺 

>Since they work at a toy store maybe have Keith pick out toys that he wanted as a kid to heal his inner child and then donate them. (maybe they could be snowed in or the lights stop working and have to close up and wait for someone to fix it something in the meantime)

>They go to one of those pop up ice rinks with christmas music blaring about near or around a christkindlmarket (usually free if you bring your own skates so maybe Lance gives Keith a pair from his siblings) and Lance teaches Keith how to ice skate or has him hold on to one of those penguine or dinasour helper things. 

>Sometimes there's street preformers around singing or playing christmas songs. Could help bring out a nice romantic atmosphere for a scene 😌

"Can you come pick me up?" you rush out, all in one breath, so fast you're sure he's going to ask you to repeat it.

A sigh on the other end of the line. You bang your forehead on the side of the payphone and wince. "You at the movie theater?" Steve asks.

You nod before realizing he can't see you. "Yeah," you say. "Steve, I'm sorry --"

"Hey, don't start with that shit. I'll be there in 10. You safe till then?" You look around, amused. There are plenty of people getting out of their own movies or going to a late night showing, so you feel find on the sidewalk. Steve knows you can take care of yourself, but he sounds genuinely worried, as always.

"Yeah," you say. "Unless the birthday party of twelve year olds going to see Labyrinth decides to mug me."

Steve huffs a laugh and hangs up on you. You groan. How are you going to explain another failed date to your best friend? You didn't even try with this one -- you kept leaning over to tell jokes and this guy kept hushing you. Steve would have laughed.

And that's the problem, isn't it? Steve would have laughed but you didn't go on a date with Steve because you don't know if he likes you like that. Because he encourages you before every date and offers to beat up anyone who treats you badly but never offers to treat you the way you want him to.

And this friendship is the best thing you've got and maybe asking for more would mess it up.

Steve pulls up to the curb and you hop into the BMW. "You look nice," he says, frowning. "How bad was it?"

"Just boring," you say. "He wanted to drive me home but I told him I'd walk because I didn't want him to try anything I'd have to awkwardly refuse." Steve heads towards the diner for your typical post-failed date routine: milkshakes.

His frown deepens. "Sorry you keep going on shitty dates," he says. "Seems like none of the guys in town are worth it."

You hum, but don't say either way, since there is one guy who is. Maybe it's the air or the movie you saw or the way his hair curls at his collar, but the words tumble out of you before you can stop them. "Why do you always come get me when I call, Steve?"

Steve taps his fingers on the steering wheel and purses his lips. "Are you actually asking?"

"Sure sounds like I am, doesn't it?"

He glances at you and sees how serious you are. He searches your eyes for long enough that the car behind him honks. "Jesus, calm down," he mutters, but it seems like he's found what he was looking for because he sets his shoulders and his hands grip the wheel like he's bracing himself.

"I think you might know why," he tells you. Your heart starts to pound. "But I don't know if you want me to say it out loud."

He pulls into the diner parking lot but doesn't get out. He turns off the car and shifts so he's looking at you. "I do," you tell him. "You're braver than I am."

He scoffs. "Bullshit. You're the brave one. You put yourself out there all the time and I can't even tell my best friend that I --"

His voice cuts off when you grab his hand. "Your best friend does, too," you say, a little breathless. "Do you, uh, want to get a milkshake? With me?"

Steve's got something akin to wonder on his face. "Like...a date?" He squeezes your hand.

"Does it make me easy to go on two dates in one night?"

His laugh is like the sun as he hops out of the car and runs around to open your door, grabbing your hand and not letting go.

I'm hoping the sequel stories are just as good so I'm excited~ Lmaoo when Kota called that creep a pig in a wig😂 Anyway, Kyohei is the first guy (which is usually the most popular one) but I've actually never played his story before! It's pretty funny because his looks are definitely my type! Lol when she accidentally sees him half-naked and she stares at him for so long, he's like why don't you take a picture😂😂 HAHAHAH OMG the heroine got a nosebleed😂😂😂 Now he thinks she's a pervert, that is hilarious but so embarrassing!!🤣 Honestly, I understand their desperation and stuff of needing a new lyricist after Ryo left, but I do remember thinking the guys are usually quite harsh with the heroine when it comes to writing lyrics. I mean, yeah they don't have a lot of time blah blah, but still.. Kyohei is an ass with how much he forces the heroine to write and says he'll destroy her screenwriting career if she runs away. Like yeah, he's probably doing it for "her sake" because she's giving up too easily, but really, his attitude and way of expressing it is veryyy unpleasant. I appreciate him for showing her how much people like the lyrics she wrote (that Ryo took) but yeah.

Wow, I knew Kyohei was harsh on himself and resolved to be at the top for some reason, but I didn't think he felt guilty for causing his father's death when he was only 27 because his father saved him from drowning and basically died in his place. It's something his father wouldn't regret, but I can see why it would hurt Kyohei. His father was so loved by his fans and everyone around the world, so if he's not as big as him, it would feel like his father "wasted" his life saving him, when really, Kyohei being alive and happy would be enough for any parent who loves their child. I'm glad that Kyohei showed such care for the heroine and tried to relieve a bit of the pressure he gave her before by telling her that Revance's success or failure isn't her problem nor is it solely dependent on her. It's silly of the heroine to be so focused on thinking about the lyrics that she ended up fainting in the bath, but the good thing is that at least Kyohei can see how seriously she is taking it. I love how when Shinya found out her real role in Revance and asked her to write songs for him, and she looked at Kyohei, and Kyohei told the heroine to not look at him because this is her life and she should decide for herself. Yeah, honestly his attitude isn't the best, but he's straightforward and honest, and I like that about him. He tells her how much he wants and needs her to be their songwriter and he doesn't hide how he told her more about his dad because he doesn't want her to leave and I admire how honest he is about trying to get her to stay with his own methods.

Honestly, Shinya liking the heroine is so random, but I guess he likes her more because she's interested in Kyohei more than for himself, since he seems obsessed with Kyohei lol. Considering how much experience Kyohei has and everything, I'm sure it's easier for him to deal with Shinya than it is to find a new song, so I definitely think the heroine is silly for giving up her lyrics in exchange for Shinya to keep her secret of being a ghostwriter etc, like lady, he's just going to keep doing this! Shinya is such a...weird guy lol. So creepy but just randomly redeems himself at the end? Naaah I don't think so lol, he's been such an ass. So I guess the romantic ending where the guys save Kyohei from making a scene is much better haha. Personally, I think the dramatic ending was better because it put more emphasis on the song, and I love how Kyohei showcased at the concert his ballad which was a reply to her love song. I just thought it was really sweet. But they do get some sexy time in the romantic ending so I guess you don't want to miss that out😂 Overall, I wasn't too impressed with Kyohei's main story since it definitely felt more like he was using her most of the time than he was in love with her, she was just like a bonus lol. Hopefully the sequels are better! I'm glad we got to see Kyohei's PoV because alot of the time I wasn't too sure how I felt about their relationship, and it felt like he cared but also didn't, so it was nice to see clarification that all along, he really did notice the heroine and care for her haha.

Honestly, even though it was frustrating that the heroine couldn't communicate with Kyohei properly even when he knew something was up and asked her directly about it, I couldn't help but feel for her. She is dating a celebrity that so many people love and want, it's hard for her to not feel like she's "nothing" compared to him and feel lost about whether she can handle seeing him with other women in commercials etc. I'm so glad Kyohei acknowledged her feelings and reassured her that they're valid, that he loves her, that he thinks she's amazing (which she is considering how great her lyrics are lol) and that if he's amazing, then the woman who made him fall for her must be even more amazing haha. I'm so happy that Kyohei got through to her how much he loves and cherishes her. Omg Kyohei getting into the bathtub with the heroine, hugging her from behind and kissing her is so hot, I love it. I agree with Ryo that he really did something unforgivable as a songwriter, which was to steal the heroine's lyrics, but you can tell how desperate and broken he must be if he was driven to do that. It doesn't make it better, but seeing how sad, how jealous he is of the heroine's talent and how he doesn't know how to get out of his slump is just heartbreaking imo.

It was sweet to see how confidently Kyohei answered that even if Ryo comes back, the heroine would still be their lyricist and that her songs are different from Ryo's and that her songs are just as important to Revance as Ryo's are. LMAO when the guys started playing the characters in the heroine's script. Legit died because of how corny the lines were but it was so funny seeing the guys act it out haha! On another note, it was really nice to see how strict Kyohei was in giving his opinion on the heroine's screenplay. He's harsh but direct and honest. Omg Kyohei enacting a wake up call for a show was so hot, I can see why the audience went crazy haha! So cool for the heroine that her script will be used for a play, that's definitely a great achievement! It honestly broke my heart when Kyohei said they should stop seeing each other, my first thought literally was, I don't want to break up! What is he saying! I know and recognise that it's difficult if he plans to expand into the international market while the heroine wants to stay here and focus on screenplays rather than lyrics but still! I am actually so glad Kyohei changed his mind and went back to apologise to the heroine and win her back. I loved how he used the audition to tell her that he wants them both to chase and achieve their dreams together and that he can't do it without her anymore. I think I especially loved the talk on the radio show when he said "even if it took longer to reach the end, I'd want to go with the person I love". Considering how long and how much Kyohei wants to achieve this dream of his, knowing that the heroine is important enough that he feels like delaying it to achieve it alongside her makes me happy. I really enjoyed the Sequel His PoV, I think it's always great to see how the Revance guys support each other, but it was also nice to see Kyohei struggle with his "selfishness" and his desires against what's best for the heroine.

Did the story ever mention Kyohei having a sister because I'm shocked!! I didn't realise he had a mother either hahaha! Anyway, I love how he helped the heroine get acknowledgment for her hard work as a writer on stage after the play, that was very sweet. Surprisingly, Kyohei's teenage years are much more interesting than I thought! Like it's basically what I expected minus the fact I didn't realise he had a sister and mother haha but it's really nice to see how everything fell into place as he gathered up the courage and ambition to live up to his father and surpass him. At least they get along haha, it's nice that the heroine has been accepted too. It's also nice to see that the group once upon a time had another guy that ended up leaving for his respective reasons and then meet him again. I'm quite happy for the heroine that she's getting to pursue her dreams as a writer and focusing on that, just not sure about the new guys lol. It's sweet to see Kyohei supporting her and encouraging her by checking in on her. I loved it when the heroine and Kyohei didn't meet for a week and she was so happy to see him, and he was like why is she just staring longingly when she can leap into his arms like she wants hahahha. Honestly, with how exhausted she must be churning out stories for Fumito to read, she definitely should because I would definitely want to haha! Kyohei's encouragement is honestly the best, it makes me feel touched and motivated too. He's right, our goals aren't something flimsy, just because we haven't been acknowledged yet doesn't mean we're no good! Ritsuto really is the type of guy to be really nice once he acknowledges or likes someone lol. I like his straightforward attitude towards Revance's first LA performance and I enjoyed the heroine giving her honest opinion about them not being able to capture the audience here, which is very understandable imo. They're nervous, it's their first gig, they're not used to the country and they haven't grasped the feel of the audience here even if they've done their research, and honestly, Japan and LA is very different vibes.

It was understandable for Kyohei to feel jealous of Ritsuto in terms of being close to the heroine and as an established celebrity in this country. Especially considering how nice he is to the heroine and how much he helps her when that's what Kyohei used to do for her, but the best thing is that Kyohei didn't hide how bummed he was about it and actually told her. Ritsuto was definitely too much when he did what he did, that was really terrible considering they're not exactly on bad terms and he's trying to steal the heroine from Kyohei when he's down. Anyway, I loved how the answer they both reached was to stay true to themselves when it comes to their work and their life. I think it would have been better if we had a better grasp that the heroine was writing stories that's not her style as well but it's okay, the story focused on Revance and their struggles in adapting to a different country. It was nice to see Kyohei realise that regardless of what country it is, the people watch their performances wherever they are in the world so they'll love who they are and not what they expect them to be. Overall, I wasn't sure how to think of it when I first started but I actually really loved S2 with the heroine and Kyohei separated but in the same country working hard towards their individual goals with their individual struggles. Even though their work was different and they had different aims, they both found it difficult to adapt in a different country catering to the people around them rather than being true to themselves and what they love and want to show to people. Of course, not everyone gets to be like our main characters and get to stay true themselves and still be loved, but at least for this story we can relish in that, and that makes me happy for them. Seeing things from Kyohei's perspective really displays well how dejected he was all this time. Not only was he hit with rejection after rejection but with a lacking fanbase and no clear direction on how he wants the band to be, coupled with Ritsuto being amazing and popular, it's hard to stay cheerful and positive. I'm so glad Kyohei took the heroine out to Las Vegas and spent some quality time together whilst getting to watch a performance there and be inspired. I really feel like Fumito needs to let the heroine have time to experience things outside instead of just holing up at home writing lol.

Honestly, I find the heroine's decision to go back to Japan kind of weird? She has such a great opportunity to learn from Fumito aiming to improve her screenwriting, and he tells her what she needs improvement on and gives her opportunities etc and she wants to go back to Japan when she hasn't really learnt that much at all?? People would be dying for this opportunity! Like I understand that she feels like she's relying on others but when you first start out, having someone experienced look over your work and help you improve it is a dream come true. Like it's probably because Kyohei and them are going to go back so she needs an excuse to go back too but seriouslyyyy. It was so sweet how supportive all the guys were when the heroine was down from all the rejections, and it made me so happy for her that they tell her that at least one of them has to be free to hear her out whether it be happy news or good news, she's so lucky haha! It was so great to have Kyohei properly acknowledge the heroine as Revance's lyricist in their comeback concert, it made me so smile so much! Hearing Kyohei say he wants to write the lyrics for the song himself made me so happy for him, he really wants to surpass his father in everything he could do and do it even better. I like how even when the heroine is imagining Kyohei proposing to her, he's still as arrogant (in a cool way) as ever 🤣 I wonder if Kyohei feels like he's limiting the heroine and doesn't want her to be fixated on being Revance's lyricist when she can do so much more if she's not exclusive, and yeah being a lyricist and scriptwriter for her movie would be great and appealing, but more important than that is what the heroine wants to do. She didn't work so hard all this time to do stuff she doesn't want to do just because it gives her more fame or something, otherwise she could have stayed in LA. I'm kinda glad that she was able to feel things when Shinya played the song for her, it is her work after all and if she wants to do it, she should, otherwise she'll regret it. And I'm glad Kyohei knew that and that's why he wanted to push her, I think it was really cute when he called her Little Miss Rival haha, but I'm happy that the heroine finally truly feels like she's stepping into the world. I find it very silly that Shinya made a move that jeopardised the drama and didn't do anything about it and didn't get reprimanded or anything lol, but I admit that seeing Kyohei do that press conference with her really showed how much he cares for the heroine. I don't know how I ended up on the dramatic love ending lmao but I loved it especially when Kyohei used the heroine's rejected lyrics (that sounded too much like a proposal to Kyohei) to make a song and sing it to her at the concert, it was so touching! It also made me really happy that Kyohei achieved his dream and the heroine's song was a success. I loved Kyo's PoV because it was so wonderful to watch over him, Taka and Ryo band together to create the song that will surpass his father, and to see him play it for his mother to hear, that was really beautiful.

Overall, I am smitten with Kyohei. I actually love him and the heroine so much because it was so beautiful to watch them grow together. They both had dreams of creating hits in the industry whether it be for recognition or to surpass his father and I loved how step by step, they both encouraged each other, supported each other and loved each other despite all the setbacks and issues coming at them trying to break their determination. They wouldn't have been able to do it alone, but you could really see how by having each other, even if they were physically apart, just knowing that they respectively were working hard towards their dreams made them both never want to give up and do their best and I think watching over them do that was so touching and sweet. It also helps that Kyohei is charming, exudes confidence but not arrogant and is very loving. You can really feel how much he cherishes the heroine, how much he needs her just as much she needs him and how they really are equals by the end. I really enjoyed their story and their love and I'm not sure who else can top them!

You chose the song and let me tell you what happened. I accidentally opened it in two windows, asynchronously, offset by almost exactly 42 seconds, and then i didn't shut the second window because it blew my fucking mind. Now I can't stop listening to it like this. 😂 It clashes in a couple places but that just feels appropriately eerie because it's such a weird fucking song. Like if i didn't look at the windows, i couldn't tell you when one ends and it's only the other winding down. I'm pretty sure it only works so well because the vocaloid's cadence and intonation are all so bizarre. Anyway that's where I'M at.

The song SCREAMS Sephiroth/Cloud to me. The lyrics just go right along with their whole story, plus the fact that its weird and kind of disembodied fits their mental states really well.

W - A trope which you are virtually certain to hate in any fandom.

hoooo boy, there are many of these. i stuck with my top two for the sake of not being here all week. also, before i dive in, i wanted to say that if a trope is done really well, i will likely enjoy it anyway, and i LOVE subverted tropes, especially for comedy purposes.

1: Woobified badasses. I really dislike seeing characters who are grown-ass adults who Have Seen Some Shit de-fanged, de-clawed, and behaving like teenaged girls (unless it's forced feminization for BDSM in which case we can talk as FUCK). Anyway, we are all free to play-pretendsies however we like and i'm not offended—it's all fiction—i just don't really want to read it. i don't mean tough-guys having soft moments, i actually LOVE that (give me sephiroth gently carrying a kitty cat to safety before he goes back to finish immolating nibelheim any day). however, oftentimes i see this particular trope happening and it's clearly because the writer has too little scope or empathy, and can't inhabit a character's actual perspective enough to write them in-character. which is perfectly fine, but not for me. i don't demand rigorous adherence to canon (obviously considering every single character i write is trans and/or gay and/or pansexual) but i like the fictional characters i like to at least be recognizable.

2: Pregnancy. Ugh. First of all, it's never done well. Second of all, I am not interested in it whatsoever, even if it was done well. male pregnancy is even more of an ugh. two reasons...three reasons. 1) pregnancy is an eldritch horror beyond my will to contemplate, let alone write or read about in fiction, which i write and read FOR FUN. 2) mpreg is almost guaranteed to be some deeply misogynist shit redirected at male characters (i'm talking to you a/b/o) OR plain ol fetish stuff (which is great have your fun but it's not a fetish i have, so it's not for me). and before anyone says well transmasc people can get pregnant, welcome to reason 3) if it's not omegaverse, it's the transmasc character being made to pop out babies for people's heteronormative family-dynamic fantasies. which sucks. because why must parenting be biological to be valid? why is adoption less worthwhile? why must trans men be forced back into female gender roles to serve as baby machines? i don't speak for everyone on earth and have fun with that if it's your bag but i can't hang with it, so no thank ye. in this house, boypussy is for sexy fun times ONLY.

Oh my, good questions...

Hahaa oh lord. I mean, how much time do you have? 🤣 I have entire files worth of ideas from different fandoms that I've even gone so far as to outline, but have never gotten around to writing.

I think the first ones that come to my head are two series ideas in the Smallville fandom:

Hanging By a Moment - Clark Kent x OC

Summary: The path of Clark Kent’s life changed drastically after he turned sixteen. It was choice, it was happenstance, it was destiny—all in one. He didn’t know it yet, but it was always going to be her.

(Yes, title is based on the song by Lifehouse. 😂)

Keep Holding On - Jason Teague x OC

Summary: Try as Jason might, he just couldn’t compare to Clark Kent. Not in Lana’s eyes at least. Elena is the casualty of war, caught in between.

Both sound very melodramatic now that I read the summaries next to one another. 😂 The main reason why I haven't written these, I guess, is because I feel like the Smallville fandom has mostly died out. Tumblr especially doesn't really support OCs as much as reader inserts, and these stories both needed to be OCs to give me the freedom to create as much backstory and character as I wanted to.

Oh a DEEP CUT you say? 🤣 Oh God, I've been writing since I was about 10 or 11 years old (and let me tell you, it was heinous).

I think my very first fanfic was for an anime called Rurouni Kenshin. It was an AU set in present time. It was that cliché thing where the heroine is sitting at a bar and is getting hit on, but she doesn't give the guy the time of day until her boyfriend (the main male lead of the show) shows up.

That character was known for being a spitfire, so she was good at putting people in their place lol. Her boyfriend is the more mild-mannered of the two, but still very protective, so I guess that's where the idea came from in my kid brain. I've long ago deleted that story off FF.net because it was so damn bad.

My first SPN fanfic, however, can be found here on Ao3. It's also pretty rough because I wrote it back in high school when I was first watching the show, first on FF.net, then transferred it over later to Ao3.

It can take me a bit to get myself into that creative headspace, but when I'm working on a one-shot, I tend to power through the draft until I finish it in a day, maybe two if it's long (5,000+ words let's say).

If we're talking about a series, I try to knock out at least a chapter at a time in one writing session, which could take me a couple hours or several more, depending on length and how detailed my outline is, if I need to do additional research, etc.

If I really have a good flow going, sometimes I can knock out 2-3 chapters in a day. I'll have a solid 1-3 hour writing session towards the beginning of the day, take a break for a few hours, run some errands, go on a walk, have a meal, and come back to it later. I tend to do the bulk of my writing in the afternoon and throughout the night.

so I went to exit my emotions in Germany last weekend, details below:

we went to the shows in Berlin & Leipzig, with a VIP experience for the latter

and guyyyyyyyyssss let me tell you, BC really did not lie when they said we were there to Exit our Emotions 😩 the shows went straight to the very top of my personal BC shows list, the energy was amazing and all the new songs sounded incredible live, even the ones that weren't necessarily my #1 favourites, like Where's the Exit and Wolves in California. Especially the former sounds sooooooooooooooo good live 💖

and because I was there mainly to enjoy myself and to exit the fuck out of my stupid useless emotions, I barely took any videos or pictures (I never take pictures anyway, how do y'all manage to take such amazing shots at shows?!) despite having relatively good spots to do so. I kinda wish I had more so I could think back to the shows afterwards, but on the other hand I felt like I got way more out of the show when I put my undivided focus on it, and besides indoor shows are always challenging on that regard due to the flashing lights etc. and I felt like every time I was going to film the lighting was not appropriate so in the end I just couldn't bother 😅

I don't really have much else to report from Berlin other than that the venue was great, I had an excellent view and had the best time ever 🥰

not least because I met so many BC tumblr friends!! it was so nice seeing everyone, please come to the Nokia Arena show y'all, we'll be your host it's hocus pocus 🥺

(we were so chill in fact that when we came back to the hotel room afterwards, we noticed we had forgotten the ceiling light on. you know, because that's how chill and zen and calm we had been upon leaving for the venue 💅💅💅💅💅)

the acoustic set was fucking cute, almost like a little campfire hangout 🥺

about giving the gifts and having our pictures taken: I feel like I was working on some kind of autopilot and can barely remember much anything 🙃 which I'm kinda mad at myself about lol, but I guess the guys liked the gifts (Olli said the glass markers were important, as my foreword for them was that they'd no longer have to fight about which glass/cup was whose, and I remember Tommi saying that socks are always useful. the others are owners of feet as well, so I suppose they agree 🧦)

we had made all sorts of grand plans for our individual pictures with the band but ended up with having "regular" ones after all, because while there was no feeling of rush per se at the m&g, everything was still happening relatively fast and sort of in their own course, and if we had wanted to do any funny poses or whatever, we should've been faster and in a little...sharper mental state to ask for them 😂😭

but we were chill though, I promise 💅

(I'm just cringing at myself so hard because I look like a fucking teacher standing for a class photograph 😂💀 it's funnier if you know I'm actually a teacher lol)

during the show we were on 2-3 row because we kinda missed our cue to run and reserve our spots before the acoustic set. personally I blame Santeri the tour manager for this (and also the fact that there were so many people there who had already been to VIP on this tour before, so they knew what to do 🤷‍♀️ meanwhile we were just left standing like "...wat 🧍‍♂️")

the show was just as great as the Berlin one, I honestly can't put them in order because they were both amazing and really made me forget about my sad little life 🖤

Rock Band From Hell was also alright. the one with no shirt on was hot

Ghost Kid was cool too. the one with no shirt on was hot

...so hot in fact that I already fell in love with him at the Berlin gig, and so when we were on our way to the merch booth after the Leipzig show, we ran into him and I flirted chatted with him a bit and had my picture taken with him 🥰 he was soooooo sweet and funny and I hope he'll stay true to his promise and keep the thing I said to him ('the drummer of BC could never [swirl the drumstick in his fingers in between every beat like you do]') "just between you and me" 🤭

from the merch booth I bought the XOXO longsleeve which looks super nice (sadly the quality isn't as super though dfgdgdsdh)

the next day it was time to return home, and as @kraeuterhexchen was seeing me to my platform at the railway station, I broke into tears in the middle of an escalator and didn't stop crying until boarding my plane lol

it's just that I was really nervous about travelling back to the airport from Leipzig because I had two changes of trains and the horror stories I've heard of Deutsche Bahn always being late were only adding to it, and that stress somehow triggered some sort of emotional meltdown in me and I realised the trip that I had been waiting for 6 MONTHS was now ending?? there had been so much talk about how we'd "do this and that when we go to Berlin/Leipzig and see BC" and now it's all done and gone and ?????? how does one move on after that 😭

but mostly I've been crying about the gift I gave to Olli 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

and the reason why I've been so emotional about it is because I had made the ring weeks ago already, shortly after the album release event, and since then I have admired it every day (because hellooooo is it not the cutest?!) and I had imagined all the scenarios in which I'd give it to him, what I'd say about it and how he'd react to it (I wondered if he'd even know what it was, but of course he immediately recognized it as a pin cushion when I showed it to him 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭), and yesterday it just suddenly hit me that when I'd be back home, the ring would no longer be there on my table for me to admire and hold in my hands, because Olli has it now? it's OLLI'S now, as intented, and yeah idk why but even now, two days later, I'm still literally crying about it as I'm writing this because I had grown strangely attached to that silly trinket and now I'll probably never see it again 🥺😭 (I guess I should just make one for myself too lol, my old one that I made almost 17 years ago is a wee bit shabby)

For The Wishing Kingdom, I like how its going for a more High fantasy feel like the older Disney classics! I'm not all that well versed in fantasy and magic, so its cool to see more examples of it done in your rewrite! The parallels between how everyone is knowingly depressed in the supposedly perfect Rosas, while everyone is genuinely happy and free in the Hamlet. Showing how the Kingdom isn't really making people happy, is a really nice touch!

I also like the backstory of Anatres what his character arc is going to be when he reaches Earth! WG!Star and Anatres actually have that deep love if Earth in common. (He'd probably start crying hearing what happened to Xanthos, he's a sensitive guy) And of course the idea of Asha having her own magic!

For "Kingdom of Wishes", that's actually the first story I read for a rewrite and just finished it a few weeks ago. Right now, its my favorite version! @annymation did such a great job writing the huge cast of characters, especially the villains, made some clever references and I ADORE ASTER AND ASHA!!! 😭 And I also got the inspiration to make Sabor from Bravo!

For "The Fallen Star", I started back reading that and I can't stop laughing! It's like if you put Wish, Deadpool and Emperor's New Groove together in a blender and that's The Fallen Star .😂 I love the designs of Cielo and Princess Asha, they look so unique, which is why I wanted to draw them. (ASHA KEPT CALLING ME MUTT, LIKE WHY—) @signed-sapphire writes some hilarious dialogue for Asha, with my favorite joke of her calling all the teens by their dwarf names, which is something I thought the canon movie was going to do, so she delivered. And Saph is very sweet, that's why I like talking to them the most about the movie and helping on the song numbers.

And for "Reach for the Stars!" I actually just started getting into it this week! I'm still new to it, so Might not cover everything. I've mostly seen the designs of the characters (which are so cute) and certain updates on the lore. I have to say the magic system in it is really unique! And Suñeo being the one starboy that wants to go home is unique take, and the Royal couples succeeds in pulling a star down in this version! Funny enough, I think that's why WG!Star likes to hang with him the most. (He's been wandering in space for years all alone and meeting Suñeo for the first time made him so happy. He's not alone anymore and he drags Suñeo through different parts of space to show him all the cool stuff he's seen) I get the biggest thing about it is how well the magic system for the stars and Rosas is thought out, its like something out of a manga story! @oh-shtars is really awesome at it!

The angst is also well made, I actually feel bad for, well everyone! 😂 Kind of ironic Star becomes friends with Suñeo, since Star's movie is more comedic/fun based and Suñeo's movie is more angst and drama, lol.

Major is used to taking shit from peons; she was a woman in the military, after all, lol, which is why she's able to not let Lily phase her too much. Her patience will be tested, though. Where Cunthrage was just flat out unhinged, Lizard is more... selfishly insidious? Just, you know, she's not going to be kidnapping people and snapping their arms or murderously rampaging through Hydra bases or anything. (The stakes here are much, much lower, lol. Which, I guess, is going to prep us for Unbroken, where the stakes will be... Thanos-sized, lol.) I think what makes Lily feel worse, to me, is that she's far more realistic than Jade was. Like, I know girls like Lily irl; thankfully, never met a Jade (phew!). Much like Killgrave, to me, is the scariest Marvel villain, because I've encountered so many men like him in the real world.

The things I dream of doing to Thor would probably get me put on a list if he was a real person and not a fictional character, lol. Unless I'm doing AUs, I tend to stick with canon-pairings, but there is something about the idea of Wanda/Thor that I currently find very appealing, so hopefully, we will see something happen between the two of them. I think they would be adorable. And for some reason known only to my maker, I love making Wanda a little bit horny, lol. In fact, an earlier draft of Unwanted had Pocket referring to her as the Sokovian Horndog after she made some comments about Bucky's body, lol.

Is it weird that I don't plan on having Tony be too involved in this fic, because I feel like giving him a friendship with Major is like him cheating on his friendship with Pocket? That makes no sense whatsoever, lol, but I'm so protective of my girl. I'm like "Yeah, Major, I'll let you fuck Pocket's boyfriend, Bucky, but YOU CANNOT BE FRIENDS WITH HER PSUEDO-BROTHER TONY BECAUSE HE IS HERS!"

And it's like... okay, "Jeff", yes, I've seen that on a couple or so Voiceplay videos (his name is literally in the description! And there are always comments that talk about him! (but it is still the somewhat more common spelling of the name I guess)), "Goff" is likely just a missed-letter typo, but "Jeoph"? Jeoph??? Who the heck came up with that misspelling? 🤣

This video is 3 minutes of complete and utter serotonin and I love it. I really hope we get to see more of Geoff dancing in 2024, whether on his channel or with Voiceplay. And honestly with the super-wide variety of music content across the two channels, it's entirely possible!
