heyhihello it's your girl baz here with a 2nd muse, this one far less fleshed out but it'll be really fun to figure him out more in this setting! those close to him have always called him wookie, which is a reference lost on him; bro has never seen a star war. anyway, he's your typical stoner / burnout skater boy who is an annoying little sh*t with a heart of gold somewhere deep deep down. there's a little bit more under the cut and as usual, if you wanna plot anything with this goober, pls do leave a like! also you can find me on discord @ umjis_gf if that's easier 💗

BACKSTORY

born & raised on jeju island. the family was financially comfortable due to his mother's realtor career and his father's months out at sea fishing, but the latter's absence was known to take its toll on the family.

wook took full advantage of less supervision and pretty much made the island his stomping grounds. he'd venture around for most of the day, only returning home around dinnertime to fill his empty stomach.

when he received his first skateboard for his 8th birthday, he taught himself to ride in the old empty pool of an abandoned mansion on the island. he'd stay there for hours, falling flat on his face dozens of times before he finally learned to sail across flat ground on the board.

after a few years, he'd gotten pretty good and had learned a plethora of tricks that the pool allowed him to land fairly easily. sure, he'd also built up a few hospital visits, but none of it ever seemed to deter him from what he loved to do.

his teenage years were a little more...stormy as his attitude towards his father became pretty icy. he was never around and when he was, he was always extremely short and uncaring with his family. wookie knew his father was tired from the months at sea, but he also knew the asshole could spare his distraught wife more than a hand wave and dirty dishes on the kitchen table to wash up later.

when taewook turned 16, it came out that his father had actually been cheating on his mother with the woman who did the finances for his fishing boat. at that point, wook was done with his father and wouldn't even speak to the man.

his father moved out, and it was just wookie and his mom from then on. when it came time for him to go to college, the two moved to daegu after he was accepted to kyungpook national university. wook studied civil engineering, but despite the school's best efforts to guide him toward success, it was here that he became truly aimless.

he started smoking weed that he'd buy off other students, staying out all night drinking and partying, missing classes and doing insane skateboard stunts off sacred parts of the school grounds. when he was eventually kicked out of the university, he'd never seen his mom so disappointed. even his father's infidelity hadn't broken her heart the way he had, and it made him spiral even further down the rabbit hole.

wookie's mom did eventually forgive him, and her disappointment was replaced with heavy concern about her son's future. he assured her he was fine, and got a job at wonhyeong skate park to prove to her he was at least moving in the right direction.

he was even able to get his own apartment and a guinea pig to take care of, all acts done to show his mother that he was serious about turning his life around, though it was more so to bide his time than anything else. at least he did end up becoming best friends with doch!

PERSONALITY

this little sh*tdemon okay, so he is an absolute pain in the ass. loves to tease people and whine until he gets his way. will eat any food you leave out so literally don't leave food in the vicinity of him and walk away, he's like a wild dog.

if he disappears, he's 100% somewhere secluded smoking a joint. he smokes way too much and boy do his eyes show it: literally always slightly red and very sleepy. it also makes him pretty lazy, but that also means he'll be too tired to argue and that is a major plus.

has a massive weakness for pretty people. he's very flirty and lighthearted with people he finds attractive but he's also afraid of commitment so he's never been in a real rs?? he's only ever just slept around. a lot.

some have mythologized that wookie actually has a kind heart deep down, especially in the way that he cares about what his mom thinks of him and the adorable way in which he interacts with doch and dotes on him like a proud father.

speaking of fathers, don't ask him about his! or he will literally brood and cry for three days.

being friends with taewook means that you sometimes run the risk of tripping over him asleep on your floor hours after you thought he left, with an open bag of cookies laying next to him.

he can be a good time or a waste of time, it truly depends on the day.

Please Stop, It's Already Dead

We’re almost a year into Zeb Wells’ run on Spider-Man and we finally got answer as to what the f*ck i going on. The mystery box has been opened and it’s full of f*cking stupid. Stupid, stupid, answers. Answers that just don’t work for the characters that we all know and love. Bro, like, i had a whole goddamn essay written about this, about how Zeb Wells has literally thrown out decades of growth and characterization for some half-hearted shock plot to basically troll the fandom but then i saw the leaks for issue twenty-six and what the f*ck? The death of Ms. Marvel? Really? You’re about to fridge Kamala Khan? Word? The most popular and visible Muslim character in f*cking comics, and you’re going to kill her off just to f*ck with Peter Parker even more than he’s already been f*cked over? What the f*ck is even going on anymore? What are you doing Marvel? How is this a good idea? How are these the optics you wan for your flagship comic book and most profitable hero? It’s like you hate money right now.

Listen, I'll be the first to admit that i didn’t care for Kamala when she was first introduced in the comics. Ma came about during the whole “All New, All Different” debacle and i just couldn’t stand any of that sh*t. It didn’t help that she was pushed so goddamn hard, to the point of sheer annoyance. I couldn’t pick up a Marvel comic without a f*cking Ms. Marvel mention for, like, two whole years. It was obnoxious how prominent this chick was in comics but, as time went on, i got over it. Kamala is a thing. I’m good with that. It helps that she is unapologetically Pakistani and Muslim. That sh*t is f*cking dope and we can always have more represenation like that. Then she got a show. Yo, Iman Vellani did the impossible and changed my opinion of Kamla altogether.That was top-tier, RDJ-as-Iron Man casing right there. I am still wildly indifferent to Kamala in the books but Ms. Marvel in the MCU is the sh*t. It’s a crime more people didn’t watch that show but i think she’ll steal all of her scenes in the upcoming Marvels flick. Which, coincidentally, is also written by Zeb f*cking Wells so that might end up being a sh*tshow, too. which brings me back to my point: Why the f*ck are we fridging Miss Marvel in the goddamn first place?

Ma is poised o be a breakout star of one of the most anticipated (some would also say infamous) MCU entries to date. What the f*ck is the motivation behind such an ill-advised comic book death? Now, unlike a lot of people out there in the blogsphere, i don’t think this is desperate and lazy “plot twist” is racist or sexist. I can definitely see why people would say that but this, to me, stinks of corporate mandate. This is the Marvel suits making the call, probably to get buzz going for the aforementioned Marvels film because, so far, word is that thing is a goddamn mess. Which isn’t surprising considering that Wells wrote that thing, too. I Just want to hammer that fact home: Zeb Wells wrote the Marvels and is now killing off Ms. Marvel in the comics, for reasons. You would think it be counter-intuitive to kill off a third of your leads in said flick just for hate clicks but you know the old adage; All publicity is good publicity. I don’t think Marvel as a whole, needs anymore bad publicity, though, and this sh*t is the worst kind.

Wells isn’t even killing her off in her own book, man. Kamala Khan’s death, as temporary as it will probably end up being, is just to give “development” to Peter Parker. Her death is a f*cking plot device, devoid of purpose or narrative weight, and that is the greatest crime being committed here. Bad writing aside, do you know how disrespectful this is to the character? How condescending it is to her fans? It’s wild to me that the higher ups gave the green light for this bullsh*t but, i mean, they did hand Wells the reins to the most popular superhero in the world. And continue to let him f*ck it up. Why not throw a little brown girl sacrifice on the dumpster fire, too? Like, it keeps getting worse and I don't know how that's even f*cking possible. How is this Spider-Man run so bad? How does Wells keep making the absolute wrong choices? I don't even understand how someone who calls themselves a professional writer, can craft such an abysmal narrative and put their name on it. Proudly. You should hear this asshole in interviews. HE rally thinks he’s doing something great with this book right now. The delusion and hubris is real. It’s sh*t like this that’s letting manga absolutely massacre the US comics industry.

Diamond in the Rough

The current season of anime is coming to an end and, while there were some brilliant gems this go-around, i think i have been the most disappointed by a show, ever, in my entire life and I'm going i turn forty this year. Just, so goddamn upset about not one, but TWO shows. Like, how did they turn out this f*cking terrible? It's mind boggling. However, there was one that reached Frieren level of excellent so i was able to lose myself in that top tier dopeness. So, before we move forward into what i hope is a brilliant adaption of Dandadan and several others, i want to look back in order to give credit where it's due.

The Classic

Kaiju no. 8

Coming off the heals of Madhouse's masterpiece, Sousou no Frieren, Production IG delivered unto us Kaiju no. 8. It matched the pure dazzle of Frieren in every way. The character work, the performances, the narrative, the sound design; All of it! Kaiju no. 8 is f*cking dope. It's as close to a perfect anime as you can get. The only issue i have is the fact i gotta wait a year before the next season drops. Lame.

The Great

Go! Go! Loser Ranger

I as looking forward to this one for some time and was not disappointed. I've been a fan of the manga for years so this one getting the adaption nod was a big deal for me. In an age of The Boys, this was perfect to catch that deconstruction wave. You can tell this one was given full attention by Yostar. It's weird to me that the Azur Lane company can deliver solid anime outside of their gacha properties but, if they keep delivering quality like this, i can get used to that diversification.

Mysterious Disappearances

I did not expect this one to be as good as it was. The manga is solid but the show kind of levels up the narrative on the page. There was a thought of thought put into how to present this show and i think that level of forethought paid of wonderfully. It's nuts to me there isn't more chatter out in the wild about this show. Like, no one i know is talking about it even though it's probably one of the best released so far this year.

The Good

Reincarnated as a Slime III

Listen, this was making the list based on the virtue of it being a continuation of Reincarnated as a Slime. I love this show. I've loved this show since it first dropped. Of course i was going to have a good time with this show. That said, the production has fallen off a cliff. It's nowhere near as gorgeous as it once was. That was disappointing, especially with what's on the horizon. Everything else has been solid. Everything you expect to be great from a Slime entry is there, which is why the dip in animation quality hurts so bad.

The Ugly

The New Gate

I watched three episodes of this and dropped it in the trash where it belongs. The animation is just so hideous. Sh*t is borderline unwatchable.

Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers

This one broke my f*cking heart. If you've followed this blog for a while, you know Chillin' is one of my all-time favorite manga. Learning this thing was getting an adaption sent me through the roof! And then it came out. Bro, this sh*t is so f*cking ugly. The animation is full of errors, none of the fights have any weight, everything is just so floaty, and that frame rate is total ass. It's literally the other side of the spectrum from Kaiju no. 8 and i had SO much more anticipation for Chillin. Another manga i love, butchered to the extreme, for no reason other than lack of funds and absurd deadlines. Bro, just delay and put in the work until it's good!

Often I have found that this woman femininity can have a polarising affect on men. They either see it as a thing to be indulged in or controlled. These women can be hyper sexualised by men.

They were never taught how to deal with their emotions so they needed up neglecting or fearing them.

In a society where a woman’s emotions are seen as weak these people were often viewed as over emotional or sensitive. However this stems from the patriarchal society's fear of emotions which has been rooted in society throughout history. I have seen that unhealed men are attracted to this woman until he realises he can’t control her. He in initially attracted to her wild spirit and free emotions, however if he isn’t strong enough to Handle her she will be his downfall. Some men and woman may also envy how free this woman is with her emotions and Femininity and try and make her insecure about it. I hate to say it but often women with Lilith placement will get a lot of sh*t from other women who haven’t embraced their own femininity. This can manifest itself in a woman who has internalised misogyny and projects it towards the Lilith-moon woman.

Although Lilith - moon women may struggle with this at first, these women will come to learn they if they lean into their emotions they will find power from this. Their emotions and feelings aren’t weak, instead of running away from them in fear they should learn to accept and harness them. Often when they do this they become extremely magnetic, or even more than they naturally were. This is because they will naturally embody this darker side of feminine energy which is very seductive and enticing.

These people may have also witnessed from a young age women emotions being rejected or abused in some way. They also may have seen their mother or female figure/ feminine energy in their life trying to be controlled. In some cases this may even be as bad as their mother being emotionally or physically abused.

I have noticed women with this placement also have a kind of fear of letting men be in control of their emotions. They don”t like men having an affect on their emotions which often leads them to being afraid of having feeling or showing vulnerability in relationships (if they are heterosexual).Thus can also stem from their childhood.

His whole personality almost cracks for a second . All those dirty stuff other first years had shared about girls flashes before his eyes . He wasn't damn prepared -

Ace doesn't stop teasing him though , late at the night inside Heartslabyul's , Ace is walking on his nerves asking him to tell what's wrong . Ace isn't the only curious one ; soon all his classmates too keep asking Deuce to say what is bothering him

Deuce has decided to keep his mouth shut until he comes over this fact on his own , and he's strong on it . There's no way that he'd let anyone recognize his anxiety with women

He knows his friends better than this and doesn't want to be dared to steal your underwear or poke your breasts in another round of truth or dare

Well the first day is nothing different or weird , but the upcoming days prove how creepy he can be...

He doesn't mind popping up out of nowhere to tell you to choose underwears with a less noticable color at school and it just makes you melt ; not just because it's embarrassing to be told so but also because it proved that Jade is watching you

He does do some research on surface females to get to know the differences between what he expected you to be and what you really are better ; not that he has a complaint though

He exactly knows what he just saw there and - He can't help but to feel ashamed . For once he leaves without taking Kalim with him , he just forgot him a the moment

Well he now knows when someone you thought you know ends up being something totally different ; like the way Kalim saw who he really is...well that's really annoying to think of

Jamil ignores you for a few days until you come to ask why he's avoiding you . He insists that it's nothing all though it's obvious that it is-

Malleus isn't about to treat you any differently just because you ended up being a girl , all though he has to agree that it was a bit shocking . But in general , nothing about your relationship really seems to be gender related

You don't know his name and he didn't know your gender until now ; is this how karma works ? Well that'd be a bit unfair , gender was rather worthless compared to the fear his real identity might bring you

The only thing that may change now is him being more protective over you ; not that he underestimates you but rather because there's no way for you to be totally comfortable in a school filled with rebellious guys . Sebek isn't used to having girls around but now that he does , he should be really careful . He doesn't want you to think of him as a antisocial chick when it comes to women and he tries his best to be a gentleman in front of you . Man...he really does take it seriously

A... girl?... Silver's first reaction would be nothing different from blushing and turning back ; what else would you expect him to do ?

No One Else Can Know (Haikyuu!!)

Primary Universe

So...this turned out to be less of a tickle war than a declaration of war on Hinata's part that leads to Kageyama getting wrecked and some interesting revelations, but...I really like how it turned out, even if it doesn't exactly fit the prompt, so I hope you'll forgive me for taking some creative liberty here. Enjoy!

This time, Hinata thought as he took off his sneakers before entering the gym. This time, I’ll be the winner. I’m not letting him beat me again!

Kageyama was inside, alone, practicing his serves. It was early morning before school. Hinata had no idea how the setter had gotten inside without keys – unless he’d talked Daichi into letting him borrow them, that cheater – but regardless, this was his prime opportunity to catch him by surprise. Kageyama always, always won their tickle fights because of his height and strength. But Hinata had gotten him begging once before, and dang it, he was going to do it again if it killed him.

He waited until the setter’s back was turned, then sprinted for him, leaving his bag and shoes behind. His speed was his ally as usual, and he leapt onto Kageyama’s back, wrapping one arm around his front and digging into his side with the other, legs wrapped around his friend’s waist.

“Gotcha!”

“Ah – what?!” Kageyama yelped, letting out a shriek in response to those fingers in his side. He giggled, unable to help himself, but still managed to yell, “Hinata, you moron!”

“You’re not beating me this time!” Hinata laughed, clinging to Kageyama’s back for dear life as the setter twisted and writhed and tried to shake him off. “Tickle, tickle, tickle!”

“Gah – crap – dahahahang it, Hinata, gehehehehet off of me!”

“Nuh-uh!” The redhead reached even further around to his stomach and dug his fingers in there instead. “Not this time!”

“Nahahahahahahahaha!” Kageyama squealed, frantically grabbing at Hinata’s fingers even as he stumbled and fell to one knee. Hinata quite literally pounced on the opportunity, shoving the setter face-first to the floor and straddling his lower back, reaching into his underarms. Kageyama clenched his arms to his sides, but it was far too late for that. “Nohohohohohohoho! Hinatahahahahahaha!”

“You always win our tickle fights because you’re taller than me, stupid Kageyama,” the spiker teased, darting one hand out from its prison to scribble along his back. “But not this time! I’ve got the element of surprise on my side today.”

Kageyama tried to roll over, but it was useless. He giggled hysterically into the floor of the gym, kicking his legs behind him. “Stahahahahahahahap! Gehehehehehet off!”

“Not until I find your spot. You found mine immediately, which is super unfair. Today I’m finding yours so I can at least fight back a little!”

Good luck with that, Kageyama thought through his cackles. You’re going to be hard-pressed to get to it as long as you don’t move.

Hinata kept up his sporadic scribbling and digging into the setter’s underarms, ribs, sides, and all over his back, but to his disappointment, he got nothing more than crazed giggling and a few demands to get off of him, which of course, he ignored.

“Aw, come on,” he whined. “I got you to beg before! Why aren’t you--?” Then it hit him. The last time he got Kageyama pleading, his friend was lying on his back, not on his front like he was now. Still, shifting at all at this point was a dangerous move on his part. He hummed contemplatively, then did his best to sneak his fingers between the floor and Kageyama’s stomach, pleased with himself when he got some harder giggling for his trouble.

“Dahahahahang it, you lihihihihihittle moron, lehehehehehet me go already!” Kageyama half-growled, half-giggled at the boy on top of him. He tried once more to roll over, but that only afforded Hinata better access to his belly, and more digging made him collapse again, letting out an embarrassing squeal. “Nohohohohoho!”

“Aha! I found it, didn’t I?” Hinata laughed. “If only there was another bus for you to get stuck in, so I could tickle you without you being able to get me back.” Encouraged by his discovery, he lifted his weight from Kageyama’s back just a little, but that tiny fragment was enough of an opening, and the setter finally succeeded in rolling over, blindly reaching for Hinata’s ribs as he went.

“Then it wouldn’t be a tickle fight,” Kageyama informed him, grinning wickedly as the little decoy squealed and scrambled away. “Moron.”

“Ack! No! Not this time!” Hinata yelled, using a burst of panicked energy to shove Kageyama right back onto the floor, face-up this time, going for his belly. “I’m not losing to you again!”

Kageyama hated himself for how loudly he shrieked, the sound of it echoing off the empty walls of the gym. He threw his head back and laughed, grabbing at Hinata’s wrists and kicking wildly. “NOHOHOHOHO, STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!!”

“Ha! It is your tummy! I knew it!”

The blush that had threatened to bloom on the setter’s face became a reality with those words. He growled through his laughter. “DOHOHOHOHON’T CAHAHAHALL IT THAT, YOU IHIHIDIOT!!”

“Aw, what’s the matter, Kageyama? Got a ticklish tummy?” Hinata latched onto the protest and sank his teeth into it, grinning widely, shoving his hands under his friend’s sweater to tickle the skin directly. “Oh, yes you do! You have such a ticklish tummy, don’t you?”

“STAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!!” Kageyama was mortified by the sounds escaping his mouth – sounds he didn’t even know he was capable of making. He grabbed Hinata’s wrists but was unable to pry him away. “GEHEHEHEHEHET OHOHOHOHOFF, HINATA!!”

“Not until you beg me to~”

“SCREHEHEHEHEHEHEHEW YOU, YOU LIHIHIHIHIHIHITTLE JEHEHEHEHERK!!” Then Hinata found the two spots directly below his ribs on his upper stomach, and he absolutely exploded with laughter. Hinata’s eyes went wide, shocked at how loud the noise was. “CRAPCRAPCRAP NOT THERE NOT THEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHERE!! HINATA STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!!”

The redhead beamed, thrilled to have found a spot that could make Kageyama laugh like this. “Wow, this really tickles you, huh?”

Kageyama cursed through his hysterics and pounded the ground with his fist, using his other hand to desperately push at his tormentor. “PLEASE!! PLEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEASE!! STOP IT, HIHIHIHIHINATAHAHAHAHA!! PLEASE YOU’RE KIHIHIHIHIHIHILLING ME!!”

At that Hinata did stop, smiling so wide it nearly split his face. He was ecstatic. “I’ve never heard you laugh like that, Kageyama! It was so awesome!”

“Sh-Shut up,” the setter gasped, shoving him away. “I h-hate you.”

“You’re so cool,” Hinata continued, blatantly ignoring his friend’s grumbling. “Your sets have gotten amazing lately, and it’s even more fun to share the court with you now, and you’ve got a really fun laugh! I want to hear it all the time!”

Kageyama panicked. In a flash he’d grabbed the little redhead and pulled him in close, wrapping his arms around him from behind and drilling into his lower ribs with a vengeance. “Absolutely not, you idiot!”

It was Hinata’s turn to burst into hysterics, squealing and kicking desperately. “WAIT NOHOHOHOHOHOHO!! KAGEYAMA PLEHEHEHEHEHEHEASE!!”

“No one else can know about that spot. You hear me?” The setter growled in his ear, tickling harder. “No one!”

“BUHUHUHUHUHUT IT’S SO FUHUHUHUHUN – AIIIEEEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!!” He tossed his head back with an ear-piercing squeal, slapping the setter’s forearms as he switched to kneading into his ribs. “FINE OKAHAHAHAHY YOU WIN I WOHOHOHOHON’T TEHEHEHELL!! STAHAHAHAHAHAP!!”

Kageyama did stop, but he didn’t let him go. He held onto Hinata firmly, unwilling to unleash him back into the wild until he felt safe again. “Hinata, I’m…I’m serious. Don’t tell anyone about this.”

Hinata wiggled a little, but he knew he wasn’t getting away until the setter decided to free him, so he sighed and went limp, resting against Kageyama’s chest. “But why? You said yourself it’s not a big deal that we’re both ticklish.”

The dark-haired setter was silent for a long moment. So long, in fact, that Hinata wondered if he’d even heard the question. But eventually he murmured, “It’s just…stuff has happened, all right? People have…I’ve been…”

Hinata frowned, hearing the vulnerability in Kageyama’s voice and becoming worried. He twisted his head around to look up at him. “You’ve been what?”

Kageyama held him closer, though he really didn’t mean to. “People have used it against me. That spot. I’ve been…I’ve been humiliated with it before. I don’t want that to happen again. Not here.”

Humiliated with that spot? “You mean, people have used it to torture you?”

A flinch. A sigh. “Yeah.”

Hinata’s shoulders slumped. “So it’s not fun for you anymore?”

“No.”

“That’s messed up.” The redhead patted his friend’s arm again, softer this time. “I’m sorry, Kageyama.”

Finally, Kageyama loosened his grip and let him go. “I just…wanted you to know. To understand that I’m serious.”

“I get it. I mean, I don’t – I haven’t been through it – but I still get it.”

“Yeah.” The setter wouldn’t meet his eyes. “Thanks.”

Hinata shifted a little, reaching for his friend’s knee and squeezing lightly, smiling at how Kageyama jumped. “But…I can still tickle you, right? Just not there?”

“Tch. Idiot.” Kageyama shot him a smirk, grabbing onto his ankle and scribbling his fingers along his socked sole.

“Ehehehehehehe!” Hinata squeaked, giggling happily. “Thahahahahahat wahahahasn’t a no!”

“Yeah, whatever, moron. If you must. Just not there.”

“Of cohohohohohourse I must tihihihickle you!” Hinata beamed, grabbing his knee and digging into the underside of it this time, making him giggle, too. “Hohohohow ehehehelse are we gohohohonna have tihihihihickle fihihights?”

“You ahahahahahare such an ihihihihidiot.”

With that, the two of them took turns tickling each other into round after round of hysterics for the rest of the morning, completely oblivious to the fact that three of their teammates showed up and then left again at different times, unwilling to barge in on their silly battle. And when the first bell rang, signaling to them both just how much time had passed, they scrambled to get to their classes on time, already so exhausted they had no hope of surviving the regular school day, let alone practice afterward.

But it was worth it.

I missed Techno’s stream so I’m watching it now!

So what’s better than taking a few notes to go along with it?

Techno not giving a sh*t about Dream getting tortured just gained him about 100 points in my book

One of Dream’s first instincts was to test if burning their limited amount of food would hurt Techno, huh? Interesting, he’s trying to find a leverage to insure Techno’s cooperation if I had to take a wild guess

Techno also not taking Dream’s bs about the clock. What is this? Techno is just gaining so many points right now...

Other interesting observation: when Tommy was the one locked with Dream, Dream constantly invaded his personal space, but he dislikes when Techno does that with him. I guess he doesn’t like it without the power imbalance boosting his ego

Dream definitely has a wattpad for all his “c!Dream and c!Tommy as immortal brothers” fics

Dream burning himself in lava is not a new development, just wanted to remind everyone of that one. He’s been doing it from the start and I don’t know if it’s genuine self-harm (as a way to break the monotony) or more so a way to gather sympathy. Or both

Dream needs to burn a book to bring people back? Now that’s a bit of an interesting insight right there...

Also Techno trying to obtain the knowledge. These two are really just trying to use each other all the time, huh?

“How much gear do you have?” I don’t know why but I feel like that line of questioning from Dream is interesting...

People weren’t lying when they said that the first person Dream asked about was Tommy, huh? Man that obsession there hasn’t gone away in the months since Dream has been locked up... gotta admit I love that writing decision!

Dream found out about Steve and I bet he immediately filed it away as possible leverage for the future

“Who feeds them while you’re in here?” Dream subtly investigating Techno’s attachments. Man I’m really liking this!

“I always wondered what would happen if I tried to revive a living person” so he’s also still interested with his experiments. Something tells me that he hasn’t given up on becoming immortal with Tommy quite yet. Which is creepy as Hell, but also very interesting to see that Dream to his core is still just Dream

Techno... you really think that it’s a good idea to agree to Dream experimenting on you?

Well, DreamXD was summoned instead of Techno being cloned, so that’s good! And Dream had no idea that it could happen. Also Techno recognizes DreamXD while Dream doesn’t. So much interesting information...

“How come God looks exactly like you” now that one’s an interesting question...

Techno using his one wish for the bell. I knew it would happen, I got it spoiled, but it made me laugh regardless. God that was so great!

So the summoning of DreamXD works only once?

Also Dream has apparently written 3 books worth of informations for Techno

Also Dream tried using the “throwing the potato in lava” thing again. Possibly to test the effectiveness of it again. It wasn’t effective

Techno validating both Curch Prime and the Membership cult are religions, pog? Also Dream is canonically a heretic?

I’m gonna say it now, but Techno’s absolute lack of empathy for Dream is the best possible thing for this stream so far. It’s what turns this from a c!Dream pity fest to actually a more honest sort of portrayal of him. Showing exactly how little c!Dream ever changed (now to hoping I won’t regret writing this by the end of it)

“I did, then they turned against me” Dream really never drops his manipulative rhetoric and, once again, I adore that as a writing choice. It would make no sense for my dude to ever become a better person because of the torture and isolation

“Did anyone not try to torture or kill you?” Sapnap was Dream’s first answer. Which means that he is actually trying to fish for sympathy here, since the reason why he was the best to bring up was because of Sapnap’s promise. Second one mentioned was BBH. Ranboo and Tommy both went unmentioned

Second person Dream asks about is Tubbo? Now that one’s real interesting! Though he did say “Tubbo and...” before interrupting himself, so was he curious about Ranboo or Tommy again?

Definitely Ranboo since he’s the next one he asked about. Please someone keep Dream away from the minors, he’s plotting something

And now Dream knows about the nukes. Just great! Though Techno seems to not be entirely believing of that himself

Now Dream brought up that Ranboo used to visit. Tommy is the last one that needs to be mentioned then!

And we got the Tommy mention!

“So how do you know Ranboo?” immediate deflection from Dream. Dream please! I’m curious as well!

I appreciate Techno’s plan of punching obsidian for 26 hours a block to escape. That’s the right spirit!

And of course Dream had to bring up the cat. To be fair he was doing pretty well about holding back from talking about Tommy this whole stream. He only mentioned him 3 times as much as everyone else!

Dream is getting so pissed and I’m absolutely living for it!

Okay, final thought: I really enjoyed that. Techno’s humour this time around didn’t detract from the situation in my opinion, it actually made it A LOT better by avoiding indulging on the whole c!Dream sympathy fest kind of thing that this could have turned into otherwise. It was really good honestly!

Also, i mentioned it a couple of times throughout but I loved cc!Dream’s decisions for his character in this one. Both the fact that he is not really different from before and the fact that he is still trying to find his way out of his situation. He is not broken now, he’s still the smart manipulative type of character that he always was and I honestly like that!

Crazy theory of this week (cause again, I really need to sleep!)! #JSHK

I don't know exactly why and I assume this information because Teru seems a character that know some relevant sh*t in the story. (He also hates Hanako to a point of no return so... Not maybe the most reliable opinion BUT!)

Anyway, chapter 70 gives two interesting povs. Teru's and Hanako's.

Teru explained to Akane what was going on inside the school under his own conclusions.

Nº6 did all of this, "kidnap a maiden" thing because he wanted to keep protecting this land (Aka the school, that was built on it.)

The Supernaturals of the school threaten alive ones so they keep existing and with that, they protect the school. But they... are losing the power to do that. ("The knife has been very subtle" eh Teru.)

Why exactly? Because this motherf*cker was in love with the girl that was planned to be sacrificed in the first place:

By advising Akane, Teru implies there is going to be a confrontation in the future. "Be careful because Hanako-kun is an evil spirit and in the future I'm going to need you to defeat him." Now we are in chapter 79, we know Teru has a dream. And to make it true he needs Aoi-chan too. In this chapter, he even gave a protection charm to Aoi-chan. Because he knows what's going to happen next and he knows what's going on. He knows this was all planned by Hanako-kun (And he is right. Mostly.) When he reach for Akane-kun in that place, and see Aoi-chan with him, he realizes there is nothing he can do in that moment. And for sure, that he is coming back for her. She is necessary for his own move, and Teru is about to do something pretty soon.... So, we will know sooner or later. We know the Minamoto were part of the village that sacrificed girls just to be safe of the Evil (Which I think is the sh*t that "lives" in the cursed red house. And also in the Fake Tsukasa Yugi we all have seen in the school messing around and not Hanako as Teru believes, the only thing he doesn't know. We can assume that Hanako as a ghost took all responsibility for Fake Tsukasa's crimes...), Teru explained everything in this chapter, he even changed the way he was speaking in order to doesn't sound rough.

(Akane-kun is so relatable here...) Teru knows about Hanako's setup, but not about Tsukasa at all I think. And we have seen Tsukasa (the fake one) just causing chaos. But Hanako, well he is more elaborated. So I guess he thought the evil spirit was just Hanako by himself, when in realise Hanako just wanted Yashiro to live longer. It's like when Tsuchigomori saw him smiling with Kou and Yashiro and told him: "Didn't expect you to want friends at this point." Because Hanako was always a lonely spirit that God put into the school to "atone" his crimes (which I believe are: none.) Another day I'll write some theory about why Hanako is going to come alive, again, because maybe he is not as dead as we think... wait for it!

There are still a lot of questions. Why was Yashiro to be sacrificed in the first place? Why is she a kannagi? (Cause if she is a kannagi cause again, she is going to die soon as all the characters had said, well that's a f*cking paradox.) And what is Teru planning? This way the school is safe and as an exorcist he doesn't have to worry anymore, so why? Hanako did his job. They will lose their jobs as exorcists? Even if the school is sealed more supernaturals will appear in the city and now without the 7 mysteries they have lost a great ally to beat them... Or he needs Aoi-chan to fight this evil spirit who he thinks... is Hanako(?) We might think for sure the school can be attacked now the 7 mysteries are gone... (I also believe the death of his mother is relevant to his interests now...) We will see.

That was Teru's point of course. But that's not all.

This is when everything starts to falling apart. Because, before Hanako appeared in front of Yashiro, she was destined anyway to die young. Okay, right? But how? He wanted to protect her, so he messed up with all the school mysteries ("he was the traitor all the time" the one who weakened them) and they lost their powers to protect the school of... other things. (The night Aoi-chan was kidnapped by Nº6, the supernaturals were all over the place.) I mean, he doing all of this is the reason Nº6 came out of his hole to kidnap some random girl and ending all just fine and the 7 mysteries dissapeared for good... But is not that easy.

What have we been learning so far? Yes, Tsukasa, Natsuhiko and Nanamine started everything with Nº2. Tsukasa's wishes make everything dangerous. But it was Hanako the one who, with the idea of ending these dangerous scenarios, also weakened all the 7 mysteries in the future. He was even judged for it in chapter 61, night of the kidnapping. So: it was to get dangerous anyway? If he just had let the mysteries go wild like they were in the past of the story Yashiro might died even sooner because Nº6 was going to appear in any case? He was going to appear the night of the sacrifice and take Yashiro you like it or not? Yes, but... for this scenario to occur we need: chaos. Because without it, there is no need of protecting anything. (Yashiro's remaining life and Tsukasa's decisions are so related that it actually hurts...)

So my conclusion is... (Hanako needs to take a break.) I think at first Hanako thought that maybe keeping the school without strange incidents was the best way to keep Yashiro alive, Nº6 shouldn't show up to protect the school that night, and everything would be fine... YES, but this is when Tsukasa (the fake one/real evil spirit) comes out on stage. And Hanako/Amane undestands everything is bigger than he believed. Even if he fix a mystery with Yashiro, another will get out of control. There is no stop. He couldn't do anything. If he didn't protect the school, Yashiro dies. And if they keep destroying the yorishiros, the mysteries then lose their powers and can't protect the school either way, so Yashiro dies. (Yashiro dies in every possible line because of that chaos. Because Nanamine's wish and Tsukasa's existence.) There was no escape, he even tried to wish for a fake world (thanks Number 4) where Yashiro could live happily. But that didn't end really well... So the only final way to help Yashiro was... sacrificing another human (which is also... something like what happens when you make a wish in the red house... right).

What Hanako commits is not really different from what Tsukasa does, even if his reasons are compelling... And the same happened in the moment he presumably killed his brother. How much power has the Red house over Hanako? How much of him is himself and how much of his soul is changed cause the evil spirit of the red house? And in the end, Teru said the 7 mysteries threaten but they also protect. That implies Hanako is the one who weakened all of them (having the role of the leader too) and he seems like the bad guy or the traitor, when he just did all of it to protect Yashiro (and the other kids for sure!), so he is just doing what he thinks is correct. He didn't help other mysteries go berserker in the first place but at the same time he let Aoi dies for his own desires. "If she is not Yashiro, then is fine. She wanted to die..."

I also believe Teru and Hanako are destined to fight again, that Nº1 should choose in which side to support. That something bigger is coming, with the supernaturals, the Red house, the Minamotos. And they will have to leave their differences behind to defeat a real evil. (N°6 is an air head btw.)

It also interesting how Hanako didn't want to destroy Nº1 Yorishiro either because, as Teru said too: It could come in handy. Akane was even in the moment Nº6 took Aoi-chan. He also was there with Yashiro first. He is there to protect even if he will sacrifice his own lifespan. He is important for what's coming next, I don't think the other two mysteries of time chose him because those stupid reasons they said...

Leaning your forearms against the railing of your balcony, you watch the sunset as the wind softly blows your baby hairs away from your face. You deeply sigh, now feeling numb as you’ve cried for the past hours or so, you lost any notion of time. You were under a lot of stress and managing it wasn’t your strongest point. Heavy thoughts travelled in your brain, preventing you from relaxing and breathing properly. You pass your hands on your face, stopping in your hair as you contemplate your life choices and events. You shake your head in despair as your mind only brings up the negative points, tears welling in your eyes for the nth time tonight, almost surprising you that you still managed to cry with the number of tears that you’ve already shed since you came home. Closing your eyes, you breathe out and clench your jaw, trying to keep the tears in your eyes.

Nothing feels right. You are trying your best, yet you’re doing your worst job possible. You wish there were instructions on how to succeed in life and be happy, but it wouldn’t be so fun if everything were ruled and guided. You see your friends, relatives, siblings succeeding at life and you’re just here, stuck with your anxiety, struggles and worries. Everyone keeps telling you that everything will get better, but you’re starting to slowly lose hope. It feels like you’ve tried enough, you’ve given everything you had, yet nothing goes your way. And it’s still going now. Your mother keeps telling you over the phone that it’s faith, that you need to get through this to get stronger, and that everything will be okay, but you’ve stopped believing her a few months ago.

You don’t even bother wiping the tears off your cheeks, letting the wind dry them. You are too tired to even do the simplest action ever; raising your hand and drag it on your face to wipe the salty water off your cold skin. You sigh another time, deeper and opened your eyes again, the sleepiness in your body making you slightly dizzy. You observe a black car driving in the underground garage of your building, sirens resonated against the city’s buildings as you started to pick at your skin around your nails. This was a habit of yours when you were stressed and anxious, and, let’s be honest, your fingers have never been so damaged. Nails ruined, uneven, bloody skin surrounding them, small chunks of healing skin will be gone in a few seconds since another wave of stress was about to crash onto you.

Bringing a finger to your mouth to bite on the skin, a hand delicately wraps itself around your wrist, stopping you from doing any movement. The other arm rested on your waist, wrapping itself around it.

“Darling,” the low voice of your boyfriend resonates in your left ear. Turning around, you are met with concerned hazel eyes. Seonghwa drags the hoodie off your head, hair twirling around as he sets it free. His eyes landed into yours, as if they were trying to take the worries off your shoulders. You feel tears rolling down your cheeks as you look at him, finding a bit of solace and comfort in his presence.

He knows all about your stress. He tries his hardest to make you feel better, but even at times, his love and support aren’t powerful enough to help you think about something else. He doesn’t beat himself up because of it, he rather learns from it. He gives you space, welcomes you with open arms when you’re violently crying. He’s just here, being a rock for you when you need it. He has felt defeated a lot of times, but he remained strong for you. He knew that he is your anchor, you must not give up, and your boyfriend doesn’t want to let you down.

It’s something that never crossed his mind, not even once. Seonghwa wants to help you becoming happy again, he misses the genuine, innocent smiles you used to give him at the beginning of your relationship when everything was still going well. He takes your hand in his, - the one that is the most damaged -, and raises it to his mouth. His lips linger on the back of your hand, finally putting an end to the long kiss before looking back at you. You sigh and sniffle, pursing your lips to stifle another cry that hurt your chest.

“It’s okay to cry, Y/N, you know that you won’t get a reward for bottling all up,” Seonghwa slowly drags you to his chest, feeling his shirt getting wet as your tears kept falling from your eyes. “It’s okay to have darker days,” he whispers against your head as he softly soothes your back, bringing his hand up and down your spine. “But I’m tired of life!” you scream, but it is muffled by his chest, your body heaving up and down in his embrace, “I’m tired of living, of people telling me that it’s going to be alright, I’m tired of life throwing me obstacles and problems all the time, I wish I could get even a day of feeling great! I wish I could get better at everything,” your voice dies down as you end your sentence, your arms fall dangling, too weak to even do something. Seonghwa rubs your back soothingly, but it was to no avail, your cries wouldn’t die down.

"I know Y/N. I know your struggles, I see and hear about them. I wish I could do more about it, it hurts me to see you so much in pain, but I still love you. I know it might not help, but I’m staying by your side during those hard times and even after, we’re going to get through this together, I promise. You have my entire support. Even if it takes months, I won’t leave you all alone.” He takes a break from talking as your cries increase, your hands now fisting his brown t-shirt. “You’re not alone, I promise to help you as much as I can. It punches me in the heart whenever you’re in pain, I want to help you get better as quickly as possible. It’s hard to see you constantly suffering, but you only get stronger after all of this.” “Don’t you think I’ve endured enough? Don’t you think I’m tired of constantly living in pain, feeling like I’m getting dragged by life?” you whisper against his chest, feeling frustration building up in your heart. “Of course you are tired of this. You went through a lot but look at yourself, honey. You are much stronger than at the beginning of the year. You might not see it, but I do. You put up with a lot more than before, I promise that you are a lot tougher than before. Don’t lose hope, you’ve come already so far, you don’t want to give up now. You’re a strong girl, my strong girl, and we’re going to get you back onto your feet as quickly as possible, alright? Even if it takes time, I’ll help you,” you don’t say anything, so he caresses the back of your head and hums, as to ask you to confirm. You nod, but tears still roll down your cheeks, your eyes getting bloodier as you let your sadness invade your body.

“Promise that you won’t give up?” he asks, showing his pinkie to you. You weakly smile at the childish behaviour of your boyfriend but did it anyway. “As long as you stay by my side, I won’t give up,” you say as your voice come out groggily from crying, and Seonghwa leant in, delicately kissing you on the forehead. “I promise you that I won’t. Come on, let’s go inside now, it’s getting colder,” the sun had set a couple of minutes ago and the wind was getting stronger. You followed your boyfriend as he opened the glass sliding door to your living room. You welcome the warmth of the area with a sigh, sniffling as Seonghwa kept holding your hand. He draws you to the bathroom and opened the cabinet above the sink, grabbing a band-aids box. He gently smiles at you as he grabs the tube of antiseptic cream, dabbing some on your bloody fingers. You faintly grimace as it burns your cuts, making Seonghwa kiss your cheek before wiping the remaining of your tears away.

Once he finished wrapping every tip of your damaged fingers in bandages, he grabs your hand and strolls to your shared bedroom where he sits you on the bed before going to his wardrobe. He got out a pastel yellow hoodie, one of his item of clothing that you loved the most. He then walks back to you, unfolding it, sweetly ordering you to take off your sweater. After obeying, he passes his over your head, helping you stick your arms through the sleeves, dragging the fabric over your body. He sits on the bed with you, takes off his shirt and put on a pair of sweatpants before gesturing you to lay down, resting comfortably by your side.

“You need to rest now, tomorrow is another day, okay?” you nod and close your eyes, the laundry scent on your boyfriend’s hoodie already making you feel safe. Carefully, he wraps his arm over your waist and draws you to him, your face finding its spot back on his chest. You breathe in against his skin as you can catch the remaining of his perfume that he spritzed his shirt with this morning. “Thank you, Hwa,” you mumble, and his hand goes to your hair, fingers carding through a few wild strands as you can hear him softly chuckle. “It’s alright princess, you don’t have to thank me for any of this,” he murmurs and kisses your temple, keeping on massaging your scalp. He barely even has time to wish you goodnight that you cuddle further into his chest, the action in your hair and his body warmth bringing you enough peace to fall asleep in his arms, forgetting your worries for a few hours. Seonghwa slightly chuckles as he suddenly hears your regular breathing patterns, your exhaustion finally took over you, his hand soothingly working at the shallow end of your back. “Everything will get better, I promise.” He whispers, looking at you sleeping for a few seconds before closing his eyes, falling asleep in no time as well.

Let's start from the beginning eh?

14. Wow, Aloy really bailed on Varl like that eh? Considering that she's done it before (as shown in the comics and as mentioned in-game), I wasn't really surprised. Tbh tho, I'm not one to judge, I'd do the same, but just because I'm not a people's person

15. The song that kicked in the credits, totally didn't see it coming, but yeah, the moment I was done with that playthrough I immediately looked for it in Youtube, and now I can't stop playing it, send help-

16. Ok, but like, can we talk about the soundtrack? The reworked version of Aloy's Theme is amazing, and something I noticed about it- the HFW version of the theme sounds considerably more sci-fi-ish than the HZD version, you could say that it very subtly foreshadows how much more sci-fi-ish this game is in comparison to the first game. Dunno if it was intentional, but I kinda like that detail

17. And thus we are in the Daunt! Vuadis- excuse me- STUDIOUS Vuadis- he's funny. Funny as in 'I kinda hate him right now' lmao

21. And now we get to see Erend. I kinda liked this interaction they had to be honest. Aloy had to get called out on her sh*t at some point, amirite? Erend was very obviously hurt by the way she suddenly disappeared, and in a way, no matter which option you pick, she still seems to be a bit of an a**hole, because no matter the reason she left, she still left without saying a word, and that's just not cool (says my hypocritical ass who previously admitted that I would ditch people with no remorse), so yeah Erend, you deserve to be salty about this

22. And now we go to Barren Light- Aloy still is a force to be reckoned with- the way Varl arrives just in time and Erend who is already there just going "oh you know, Aloy challenges the authorities and tempts fate, what else is new", so casually lmao

23. Shouldn't have been surprising to see Erend stand up for Aloy against the commander. While it's obvious that he still isn't happy about the stuff she's pulling, it seems that he still is determined to be there for her now, no matter what, like- he's trying, instead of holding all that stuff against Aloy, he's trying to be there for her instead when she wasn't and that shows a lot of maturity on his part

24. Regalla's entrance was pretty badass. The way the rest of the encounter went wasn't so much- it was very reminiscent of the Proving actually, except Aloy wasn't the target this time

25. My man Kotallo just stopped a Bristleback without even using a weapon, he's just rammed into it to stop it in it's tracks, how badass is that?

26. Ok, but Aloy just stood there while Grudda beat Varl's ass, she didn't even try to stop him, what gives-

27. Finally, the Shieldwing! I'm addicted to using it now-

28. And now, we're heading to the Horus. Totally not ominous and definitely Sylens' taste in lairs

30. Is it weird I feel a little bad for HADES? Whatever Sylens did to it, left it a shell of it's former self- anyways, it still was so satisfying to see it gone for good this time

31. That holo of Travis and Elisabet, in Latopolis though- "How do you love the world so much, but don't seem to love a single person it it?" I-I feel attacked-

31. That maze was a pain to figure out, I had to use a guide tbh-

This f*cking quest man- this damn quest- ok, so- Sylens just went "these people outside want you, but worry, they won't do anything to you, now open the hatch will you?", Aloy goes "lol no" and destroys her current Focus (considering that she hands out Focuses everywhere like they are nothing, I was left wondering just how many does she have on her person?) and uses a new one. So, the hatch to the facility was supposed to be open to Aloy only- AND THEN- EXCUSE ME, WTF

33. Oh what the f*ck- there's another- you know I was thinking about the possibility of another Elisabet clone, but definitely not like this- and like- who tf are these people? Why do they want me dead? And what the heck are these new machines?

35. The fact that we aren't even close to the middle yet and we already had our near death experience of the game tho- (they just had to name the quest "Death's Door" lmfao). That escape must have left Aloy pretty f*cked up if she was basically delirious when she got washed up on the shore. Speaking of that-

37. "I'm fine", Aloy says, nearly falling over for the like, fifth time in the last three minutes

38. I think it's cute the Utaru land-gods (to us known as Plowmowers) are named after the musical notes

Ok, but I wanna talk about this scene for a bit- my reading of it is that- well you can very clearly see that Aloy is very determined to take off as soon as possible, even if she can barely stand. "I will crawl there if I have to" in her words. And I feel like she would have actually gone through with I believe, she has zero chill. And then she sees what Varl and Zo have going. I think she was a little guilty. Like, he seemed to be happy with Zo, and because of her stubbornness he would miss out on going with her to Plainsong. So Aloy giving in to their request to rest up and heal, is giving up on this small bit of selfishness she got going for Varl's sake. Well, she definitely benefited from it in the end though, that's good.

41. On an unrelated note, I got two of them actually, I'm kinda glad they are still keeping Aloy single (not me here projecting my aroace ass). Like, it's not just that, I just think that Aloy isn't really ready for something as deep as a romance, not yet at least. I mean, think about it: she grew up as an outcast, with only one person to talk to, so let's be honest here, she really doesn't know her way around people, you can tell from how socially awkward (socially awkward as in the way she behaves around people, talking down figures of authority for example) and blunt she can be. And if you think about it, Aloy never really had a friend growing up (just how sad is that?), I really wouldn't be surprised if she didn't really know what being actually friends with someone means, my guess is that she has a very surface level understanding of friendship, and that's why she has so much trouble properly opening up to her friends here in HFW. TLDR; Pls, give this girl a found family/friends before we go into any romances first if they do go into that. Besiiiiiides, Erend and Varl seem to be acting more like older brother figures to me more than anything

42. Ok uh, so I have several minor unrelated notes to make regarding a specific line of side quests that from what I've seen has disappointed several people, but it's not what you might expect. Anyway, here it goes. Just putting it out there; I have no problem at all with Talanah having a thing for Amadis, and I say that as someone whose first option for romance for Aloy if it happens is Talanah (if you don't let me keep my girl ace, at least let me romance a girl, thank you very much), I mean, bi Talanah anyone? Besides, Talanah has two hands 😏Second, I'm gonna put it out here, I wasn't that big on Talanah in the first place, she's an ok character for me at best, the one that is a little over hyped, but still pretty ok. Thirdly, call it a hot take if you want (as if the previous ones weren't hot enough takes already lmao), it very much makes sense that Talanah wouldn't become a member of the main character crew and that she remains in the realm of side quests. Let me explain. Talanah is a pretty missable character as in, not everyone is going to invest hundreds of hours to replay a game, not everyone is going to do all side quests (let's be honest here, as great as HZD is, it's side quests weren't and the most engaging ones (now that I think of it, that might be the reason I'm not that big on Talanah)), so a combination of both can lead to a character simply not getting enough attention as to become main character grade. So I think that we should be glad we even got a Talanah side quest in the first place, because she could easily be a character who didn't get enough attention as to get a place in the sequel. I mean, imagine if a much more obscure character from the first game suddenly became a main, pretty jarring, right? Anyways- Of course you all have a right to be disappointed in how her story went, while I didn't see much in Talanah's character, you guys did, so I guess you all know something more than I do ig. I personally wasn't disappointed, because I didn't really hold any expectations for her, I was perfectly happy with what the writers had in mind for Talanah. You guys who were let down didn't, and I very much respect that. Sorry for this rant, I just kinda really wanted to talk about this, you know- With that aside, I'm gonna say this, both Talanah and Amadis deserved better. Amadis deserved better than to live with the knowledge that this person he cared so much for simply doesn't really seem to give a f*ck about him anymore and Talanah deserved better than now having to deal with that this person she came to really like might never actually come to reciprocate her feelings just because he might never really get over the aforementioned events. So my guess is that there might be still hope for TalanahxAloy shippers, not the Talanah being invited to the base thing, but a chance of the two getting together in the future, who knows (optimism at it's finest ey?) Ok, done with this rant I think

43. Alright, where was I? Right, at Stone's Echo. After here we set out to find Plainsong. Man, the Utaru's architecture is kinda insane, they really just built their home on top of the satellite dishes, I'd love to live there (if not for the red blight thing)

44. Ok so uh, so much has happened in recent playthroughs that my memory is a little fuzzy when it comes to this part of the game, but if I remember correctly we went to Repair Bay TAU to reach Minerva, right? Or they needed something from the Core to track down MINERVA's exact location? I think? Can't remember, someone pls correct me on this- All I remember is fighting the Grimhorn and then Aloy was so close to pulling an Ourea while kicking HEPHAESTUS out from TAU that she just gets up, turns to the others and basically goes thumbs up looking like she's this close to falling apart lmao

45. Poor MINERVA tho, must have been scared, but at least we managed to get GAIA up and working! Yay! Mother Nature as an AI is back!

46. Ok but like- Horizon having a base of operations in the game was something I never knew I needed. It's perfect and I just love how it becomes more and more like home with each passing mission, I just-

47. And so, the hunt for the subfunctions begins. I went from highest level to lowest first so I went with the order of DEMETER, POSEIDON and AETHER. How it went? Well-

48. DEMETER wasn't that hard tho I got lost in the tunnels a bit- Alva is baby

50. We finally get to see Beta now! I like her, poor thing, she didn't deserve the Zeniths' treatment of her. Also Aloy, I know you're both traumatized and tired, but please stop being mean to her

51. As I was approached the ruins of Las Vegas to find POSEIDON, I was like "there is water somewhere under that desert, right?" There was. I just wasn't expecting so much of it lmao

52. For me Morlund and crew were a more bearable version of Gildun, I enjoyed hanging out of them, just realized that I never came back for them D:

53. And at last, AETHER. More complicated than I thought it'd be, because I literally had to fell half a mountain to get an event going. Aloy being a little gremlin in this one was so fun, and Kotallo was just so done with her sh*t lmao

54. Speaking of Kotallo, we stan him in this house

55. Why did it have to be a Slitherfang-

56. We're going to San Francisco baby wooo! The things we saw there tho- *shudder*, I felt a very distinct sense of dread walking through the bunker

57. It turns out Ted was further gone than I thought. Not only he has the biggest ego in history, but he also just rid of some of the people who lived in Thebes with him? I'm suddenly worried about what happened to the people in Elysium

58. Is it bad I wanted to mash Ceo's head all throughout the tour of Ted's limbo?

59. I really don't want to know what exactly was the thing I saw in that holo in the office, because whatever it was, it really didn't end well for him (he deserved it tho, f*ck Ted Faro)

60. So yeah, about point 58? Ted Faro's massive head crushed Ceo's... well... Everything. And the other guy just fell into the lava. Big yikes for both of them

61. We are now good with Beta it seems, you could say that we are close now, I like that. Sisters!

62. Aloy and the squad ready to force HEPHAESTUS into the found family against its will 😎

63. When the Zeniths bust through the roof after capturing HEPHAESTUS: This is why we can't have nice things!

64. I'm in- genuine shock guys. He's dead. Varl's f*cking dead. And Beta and GAIA are gone too. Aloy swore to protect her and she failed. Aloy must feel like she failed both of them and that's as rock bottom as it can get, just great

65. Tilda. She's sus. I don't trust her.

66. Not gonna lie guys, I almost cried at the talk Aloy had with Zo about Varl. And she is with his child too?!

67. Damn, someone's gonna have to tell Sona now. I feel bad for her you know. First she lost Vala, and now her other child too, that's just so f*cking sad

68. Another reason why Varl dying was so impactful was that he was there since the beginning, you know? He followed Aloy into the forbidden ruins of the Old Ones back in the Sacred Lands. He followed her to Meridian to fight a threat he admits that he can't really understand, but he did that anyways. He tracked Aloy all the way out to the middle of nowhere to help her with her mission of finding GAIA. He found Aloy in the aftermath of Latopolis. He was so willing to come and help Aloy investigate the mysterious signal. He just trusted and cared for her and the rest of his friends so f*cking much, and he ultimately paid for it

69. "Can't I just mourn for the loss of my friend?" It was so heartbreaking to hear Erend say that-

70. While still dealing with the loss of a great friend, the team must still move on and find a way to stop the Zeniths for good. Using a small gift Beta gave us back in GEMINI and the knowledge Tilda provided us with, it's time to put an end to Regalla's rebellion...

71. WE CAN FLY, HOLY SH*T- (damn that escalated quickly)

72. In the most badass way you can imagine, Aloy swooped with her trusty Sunwing down in the battlefield between Hekarro's army and Regalla's and destroyed her machines

73. And then we finally face Regalla head on. Her boss fight was kinda like HFW's equivalent to Helis', but meaner, b*tchier and harder, it took forever lmao

74. With Sylens' uncovered plan foiled, Aloy gets to meet him again and makes a deal with him...

75. To close, Tilda and Sylens seem to be a match made in hell, nothing can possibly go wrong with these two in the same room s/

Tomorrow I'm finishing my first playthrough of the game (my gaming method is first playthrough being a speedrun of the story and the second and following playthroughs being a more loose and slow play of it with the side quests and activities and everything), so expect another blog on my thoughts on the finale too, though probably it won't be as long as this post since I wrote my thoughts on like 85% of the story lmao
