i think its so dumb that my highschool only had two language courses and one of them was latin. LATIN. THE DEAD LANGUAGE ?? WHY !!!
#and like a good majority of ppl took it too. jokes on them tho bc spanish was so much easier to learn#we literally just colored calendars and leanred colors our first year AHAHA#meanwhile latin kids are walking around with like 5 pages of new conjugates and words every week lmao#i barely retained any spanish knowledge from hs and i dont use it now but imagine losing 3-4 years learning latin for literally NOTHING#like congrats ? now u can read excorcisms i guess#this school was only ap and honors courses btw youd think theyd have a larger language selection but i digress#i wish there were more courses tho. also asl should be a course not just taught in college idk
