background !

nikolai was born in hong kong on july 5th. he was raised there with his two brothers, one younger & one older, who both shared the same passion for music he did. the xiang's weren't a wealthy family, their father absent & an addict, leaving their mother to do p much everything by herself.

his relationship with his family was great, relying on them a lot growing up. their mother, a music teacher at their school & supporting as ever (bless her soul), uplifted & encouraged them to chase their dreams.

he looked up to his older brother a lot, basically idolizing him - desperately trying to follow his footsteps & be as effortlessly cool (as any younger sibling does tbh), even learning dance from him.

out of the 3, nikolai was always deemed most sensitive, taking literally everything to heart. he was a very sweet & outgoing kid, undoubtedly the softest.

things however took a turn when he was 12. both his older brother and mother were involved in an accident, which tragically took their lives. everything changed then, his brother & himself ending up in their father's care.

it forced him to grow up far more abruptly than any child should; he still had his younger brother to take care of. everything nikolai did from that point on was for him. he protected him from their father, never letting him lay a hand on him, basically raising him himself - they were attached at the hip.

when he turned 14, he started a job and began to save up. at this point in time he was already exhibiting symptoms of mental illness & it would go untreated until his early 20's.

some time later, nikolai began to come terms with his sexuality. he stayed closeted for a while, knowing that the people around him (brother excluded) didn't exactly "approve" of homosexuality. just a few months after his 16th birthday, his father caught him holding hands with another boy - the final straw for all of them.

he ended up getting very hurt physically & thrown out, left to the streets without a care. with nowhere to go, he was alone & afraid, but shortly after his brother joined him with the saved up money (and a handful of their dad's), & they headed for seoul to live with a recently reconnected aunt.

career !

nikolai was street cast only a few months after his move, shortly after his younger brother passed his auditions. initially he declined it because he believed his interest in music was gone, but the scouting agent didn't give up on him - showing up to pester him again a few days later. hesitantly, he finally agreed to do an audition & the rest was history.

he didn't understand why they had so much faith in some depressed kid, & would come to realize much later that it probably saved his life. days as a trainee were extremely challenging, especially with not being properly diagnosed or treated for his mental health concerns, but it gave him something to put his energy into, his passion for it quickly reigniting.

after a few years of being a trainee, nikolai was 20 when phoenix debuted !! all the hard work had finally paid off & the group headed for stardom.

he is very much the mood maker of the group ! he also enjoys doing vlives, ig lives, the works - whether he's with the members or just by himself. a lot of the time, he solo streams in the middle of the night, talking to flames centring him & filling a sort of perpetual lonely void. in these middle of the night lives, flames get to see the quieter side of him.

personality !

there are 2 very different sides to nikolai & he's open about both of them. on one hand, he's an extremely warm, friendly & just universally loved guy, known to goof off a bit and let loose while still being respectful. flames consider him very charming, though he doesn't exactly see it himself.

below the surface though is a tired and broken man. his struggles with mental health is a topic that (after years in the industry) he talks about openly & honestly. his group members & those who knew him in his trainee days are most familiar with this side of him, but he's publically an advocate for mental health, and has been vulnerable with his own.

there are times where it noticeably seeps through in things like variety show appearances & group vlives, but he generally does his best to provide the fans with good energy :( over the years he's taken a few month long hiatuses to focus on getting better.

he's still an extremely sensitive person, kind-hearted, & wears his heart on his sleeve. he would give someone the shirt off of his back, no questions asked. taking care of people is just part of who he is. he's the one who wakes up before dawn to cook breakfast for the rest of the members, the first to offer water or a jacket, constantly making sure the people around him are okay.

VERY DRAMATIC. very extra. he's known to sulk easily, & fans eat that shit up even though it's seldom intentional.

he alsoooo is a bit of a party animal. it's fine when done in moderation, here & there, but he's prone to binge drinking & indulging in that sort of behaviour, especially during difficult times. he can be messy, & it's gotten him in trouble with their manager more than a few times, though he's careful not to let it be seen by the public.

I have been reading you for long time, what’s your opinion on nowadays jikook relationship? Did you notice the change? Do you think they are still couple? Do they maybe have now time off for some time to figure out stuff? Several months ago you did post that was quite popular where you made conclusion “TKK are simply not a thing, while JKK clearly are a couple” @ because Tae forgot that JK did 2 hour vlive (he even commented during it but simply forgot). Now Jungkook forgot or didn’t know (it’s unlike, I think he saw it maybe for bride second but just brushed it as if it was unimportant information in his brain) where Jimin’s new tattoo is. How is this situation different from what you initially thought about tk one? Isn’t the conclusion should be the same?

Funny how JK seems to have had his JM tattoo just touched up (just the JM, those two specific letters).

Before I get into JK’s Vlive, you ask me what I think the status of their relationship is now days.

My answer to you is that I think they are fine and dandy. I think they are as in love as ever and their long term relationship is as strong as it has ever been.

Seeing their interactions in LV, JK being super loud not only on his IG stories or his Vlive, but also during the concerts and the Vlive Hobi, Tae, JM and JK had.

Only to mention a very few of said words/actions/interactions:  JK’s “keep being jealous I’ll keep holding JM, blblblblb”, JK’s description of JM hugging him with a big ass smile on his face, JK’s ass grab, JK saying “love you” to JM (I do think he thought the mic was off and we weren’t going to hear that one, that it was for JM’s ears only, oopsy), JK’s heart finger for JM, JK carrying JM, their interactions, their utter happiness around each other.

And if you were maybe thinking something happened after they got back, just maybe, then you have the pre-recordings happening just days ago telling us just the same - they are still drawn to each other, their interactions still same old Jikook interactions.

It’s like every single time we don’t get to see them there is this wave of insecurity, and “JK doesn’t look at JM the same”, “JK isn’t all over JM”, “JK doesn’t live JM anymore” (funny how it’s always JK the one not wanting JM anymore, isn’t it?).  JM and JK are super private people.  When they are off camera they want to be off camera.  Not to mention, and I am sick and tired of having to mention this yet again, being a closeted queer couple in an unaccepting society, with a very negative climate at the moment (have you seen what’s been going on with the Seoul pride parade?).  But the second they are back in front of the camera they just cannot hide it, and every single time said rumours are proven wrong. 

So no, I don’t think there is anything wrong with their relationship.  They are, as I said, fine and dandy.

Now to the Vlive:

I haven't seen the live. And definitely not translated, so I'm living on what you are writing and bits and pieces of information about what was said.

Do I have to remind you that we are talking about a friendship tattoo, one that all of the members have had done or are going to have done?

One that so far both NJ and Hobi have shown us themselves!

And JIn also referred to his, almost showing it to us too.

As for JM, from photos it seems that JM might have had it done on his left hand...

He hasn’t told us though.

You say that JK "didn't know where JM's friendship tattoo is", but that’s not what JK said though.  As far as I understand JK mentioned RM’s, Hobi’s and Jin’s tattoos.  And then went “and where did Jimin hyung get his one again?”

So 3 members who have basically revealed their tattoos already and the fourth, JM, who hasn’t just yet.  JM who is a private person.  JM who will be the one to decide when and where to reveal it to us.

This isn’t JK’s story to tell us.  It’s JM’s.  And JK not telling us is him respecting that.

As it being a friendship tattoo JM isn’t hiding the tattoo from the others,  they know about it, he’s told them.  It’s not something JK would know about because of bf privileges.  

If we saw the tattoo already, granted by accident, but none the less, I can assure you that the rest of the members, all of them, have seen it already and know exactly where JM had it done.  Boyfriends or not, lol.  So even if JK was not romantically involved with JM he would know where said tattoo is.  Do you get that?  I hope you do.

Hence, JK not divulging where the tattoo is has zero to do with the question if they are a couple or not, and I do hope you’re not even hinting to JM and JK not being friends enough for JK to be one of those to know where JM’s tattoo is.  You aren’t, right?  Because even if you are hinting in your ask to believing they are no longer a couple, you wouldn’t be going down the path of them not being friends.  Nah-ah.  Nope.  

Btw JM himself kind of hinted to where his tattoo will be during the festa dinner.  Telling us where he would like to have it done...

At the end not the pinky, but definitely on the inside.

So JK not telling us about JM’s tattoo is not about him not knowing where it is.  This is about JK realising this isn’t his story to tell us, respecting JM and letting him be the one to tell and show us the tattoo.

He's working on a project, and you start to get bored when he stops paying attention to you. While browsing on Twitter, you see someone call him "little bunny," and you wonder how he'll react if you call him the same nickname.

"Hey babe, can you pass me the tape?" Jungkook says while concentrating on the task in front of him. 

You hand him the tape and kiss him on the cheek as you do. Watching your shy boyfriend blush and curl his lips. Making you have to try to hold in your giggles and own smile at how adorable he is. 

Jungkook is making a sign for the BTS VLive later. They're all about to release a new album tonight, and Jungkook thought it would be a fantastic idea to make a sign to show appreciation for their fans. The other members are even doing similar projects too.

He asked you to help, but you're actually just there so he can keep you close to him. Jungkook always wants to have you around, even if he can't since his schedule is so busy, but times like these are always precious. Every now then, he'll squeeze your hand or give you a kiss, all while still working on his little project. It makes you swoon, but you especially love when he provides surprising affections, and he loves the same from you.

About an hour into Jungkook making the sign, you start to get bored. Although you love that Jungkook is making something special for his fans, you hoped he would give you more of his attention especially since he invited you over to help. You tried getting his attention with more surprise kisses and trying to create conversation, but he mainly was focused on the task in front of him at this point. Him currently sprinkling glitter all over the board. 

"Kookie, Kookie, Kookie," You chant, trying to make him look up from his task. He either ignored you or didn't hear you because instead of saying anything, he got up from his spot on the floor. Jungkook walks to the closet at the end of the hallway, where a bunch of arts and craft-related things are, and you see from your spot on the floor he's grabbing more pens and glue. 

You sigh to yourself and lean against the wall, defeated. You pull out your phone and decide to just wait for Jungkook to be done with his sign. Since clearly you’re both not going to talk to each other until this is done. You love how passionate Jungkook gets with things like these, but you can’t help but feel a little neglected right now.

As you scroll through Twitter, you see many BTS-related posts - as usual - but you stop when you come to one specific post.

Although you've seen thousands of fans tweet about your boyfriend specifically, this one stops you. Not out of jealousy, since posts like these are normal and you know Jungkook loves you and only you, but because of the nickname. The bunny comments have always been said from fans. You’ve never called him a bunny because your kinds scared of how he’ll react, even though he loves it when fans call him one. But for you, would it mean something different?

It's true, your boyfriend does remind you a lot of a bunny, but you wonder how he would react to you calling him your "little bunny." 

Speak of the devil, Jungkook comes back and drops a bunch of supplies in front of you. Making you jump and look up from your phone. Jungkook looks at the supplies, then wiggles his nose. And you know he’s about to sneeze, already feeling your stomach bubble from how previous sneezes from him are so adorable. 

He sneezes, probably from all the glitter that just went all over the place, and rubs his nose with his sleeve paw. His sneezes are adorable, and you've always known this fact, but after reading this post by a fan, it reminds you of a bunny too. Making Jungkook look even cuter than before. This also is the perfect time to test out the nickname. You hoping he doesn’t have a negative reaction. 

"Bless you, my little bunny."

Jungkook pauses his nose rubs mid-way, and looks down at you.

"What did you just call me?" Jungkook asks, thinking he didn’t hear you correctly.

"I called you my little bunny," You respond back nervously. Not sure if Jungkook's taking the nickname as a compliment or an insult.

But luckily, it's the latter because his lips slowly turn up into a smile.

"That's the cutest nickname you've ever given me," Jungkook says this, then, without warning, dives down in the spot on the floor in front of you and starts giving you so many face kisses. You laugh until your face starts to turn red, and your laughter soon gets muffled when his lips attach themselves to yours. His lips feel so good, and you melt into the kiss quickly.

When Jungkook pulls away, he has the biggest smile on this face. Clearly loving the new nickname you just gave him.

"If I would have known calling you little bunny was going to make this reaction, I would have called you this a long time ago."

Jungkook rolls his eyes but pulls you by your waist to sit in his lap on the floor, wanting to feel you close to him.

"Sorry I've been so distracted about the sign, but now you’re going to get all the JK love."

You giggle, and it gets muffled once again when Jungkook dives in for another passionate kiss. Loving both his affection and the fan that decided to post the nickname on Twitter. You should probably tell him you didn't create it, but right now, you're both too entrapped with each other. Him cuddling you on the floor and kissing you all over your face.

You're not sure why he loves the nickname so much, but if you get this reaction every time, you'll be calling him your "little bunny" a lot more in the future.

Trying to manifest a new phone with bigger memory space so i can download tumblr again. Prolly Vlive and weverse too. You know me and my other ex been hanging lately. Really I enjoy the gift. Wish i could say gifting is her love language but it's not. If i dressed the way she wanted and looked the way she wanted then she wouldn't gift me nothing no more. They as a matter of fact actively contributed to narrative. They gave it life, feed into it, nurrtured it, sustained it and perpetuated it themselves. Their Soop conversation didn't help the matter and their post Soop interactions and the things they'd say really didn't help.

And the Jokers who are leaving Jikook because they think Jikook aren't vibing as they used to can suck my dick. If Jikook are falling apart then you should be worried for them because if Jikook are falling apart BTS are falling apart.

I keep saying if Jikook is real, then out of all the pairs in bts they are the ones most expected to leave their drama at home and not let their relationship ruin the group. It's a prerequisite for any intimate relationship that thrives in a group setting. It is why most groups bar members from fucking eachother. One nasty breakup and the whole group is going down with them.

It is why Jimin will go out of his way to interact with Jungkook on camera one's it's rolling. Like Jin says they are professionals they make the others look like rookies.

So no. If Jikook are broken up this isn't it. Unless they tryna make it obvious something is off with them. If they broke up you mere mortals couldn't tell jack shit. Especially if it involves Park Jimin the one member who holds the ot7 kumbaya torch, care's about his reputation and public image, is emotionally intelligent- Nawwwwwwww! Jimin is not Tae or Jungkook. He won't threaten to stab you in the neck with poison needles, tell you to get out of your imagination, or let the fans know the members be vetoing his decisions and preferences.

If you couldn't tell the times vmin were not talking what makes you think you'd be able to tell when Jikook are broken up?

At least when we were speculating on the state of Tuktuk's relationship it was from a place of genuine concern. There was something fundamentally off between them that went against the OT7 kumbaya agenda. The fact they came out to address it themselves says a lot. We wasn't spreading fake rumors about them. We wasn't.

And I fail to think of Jikook as daft.

It would be foolish of them to repeat the same mistakes Tuktuk made as a ship. The very mistake that lead them to Soop. To now go out of their way to correct the negative impression they both have left on the minds of fans. They are doing the most but really some fans aren't buying it. Just as some think vmin soulmate is a lie- Jin called them out no? When Tae said Jimin was his best friend Jin quickly snapped 'then stop fighting'

If he hadn't I would. That man is a real one.

If Jikook are in a bad place then the members and the company will do what they can to help them fix their relationship. Between you and I I don't think Jikook need any such intervention.

If Tae can ask JM to help him fix his friendship with Jungkook, Jimim can ask Tae to help him fix his relationship with Kook.

Whatever those two are dealing with is their personal issue. They both look happy on their own. Even if they are broken up, their basic relationship as friends and members of bts is still there and we should see that.

Like i always say, if Jikook breakup they will always revert back to being friends for their group sake and because there's just so much love and history between them.

If the breakup is fresh then yea, it will take some time for them to adjust and to become friendly. Once they get there however you couldn't tell them apart.

Jikook have a unique dynamic. I hate when people see them through the lens of other ships.

People are simply amused because Jikook aren't behaving in a way they predicted they would. Which i think is exactly why they aren't behaving that way.

Tuktukkers been clutching their pearls dreading the day jikook starts jikooking- as they should. They were very much terrified the moment they heard bts were going solo on IG. It's cause they know what Jikook are capable of. Just as we know what Tae Kook are capable of so nothing they do comes as a surprise.

Tae has been invested in repairing his relationship with Kook since Soop. The company has been equally invested in their dynamic. They go out of their way to pair them- was it chuseok? They drew that art thingy, two vlives had JM not sabotaged one💀

Well make that 3 if you count the recent live.

But as JM says, Jikook is a team. They are a trademarked and copyrighted you are me I am you.

I think it is great JM is taking a step back to let all this unfold. It's not a competition.

But i do wanna see vminkook thrown together in a room again. So far we had them at a concert, vlive. I wan more.

“Oh, that reminds me,” Sunwoo suddenly said as he released her from his embrace, “you didn’t get to listen to it yet.”

Watching him fumble around the bed for his phone, she tilted her head to the side in confusion. “Listen to what? Are you finally giving me the sneak peek I’ve wanted of your team’s rap?” she joked, eliciting small chuckles from the boy.

“No, something better.”

That piqued her curiosity, and Sunwoo couldn’t help but coo at how her eyes sparkled from anticipation. He plugged the earbuds into his phone before putting each bud in her ear.

Jiyu suddenly felt nervous for no reason. “You’re not going to play a jump scare as revenge for earlier when I barged in, right?”

He fake gasped as if his plans had been exploited, before erupting into laughter as he tried to alleviate his now���terrified girlfriend. Jiyu slightly furrowed her eyebrows and punched his shoulder, causing him to yelp.

“I’m kidding! I’d never do that even if I wanted revenge in you for something,” he reassuringly said as he rubbed her head. “It’s something nice, I promise.”

She childishly crossed her arms across her chest and patiently waited for him to play the media file on his screen. Once his finger pressed play, a melodious and calming tune filled her ears before she heard Sunwoo’s angelic singing.

It was at moments like this where she was reminded that he auditioned as a vocalist.

She was shocked—one, he had given people this amazing song on his birthday, and two, the lyrics sounded as if he was talking to her, as if he was professing his love to her over and over again.

Not that she wanted to get ahead of herself, but what else was she supposed to think?

Watching her, Sunwoo felt both anxiousness and adoration swirling around in his chest. This was the first time in their relationship that he had showed her one of his self-made tracks, and he didn’t know the type of reaction he was anticipating from her.

And it was the first time he had composed a track about her.

He had remembered in a VLIVE a while back where she revealed her love for strawberries, and he just took that little fact about her and ran with it. However, contrary to all his worries, seeing her little smile as she rocked side-to-side, he figured he wouldn’t have to worry so much.

When the song finished, Jiyu took a moment of silence to relish in the warm and fuzzy aftermath of hearing the beautiful song. She had always loved his voice, so hearing a whole three minute song with only his voice was heavenly.

“You released this song today to Deobis? On your birthday?” she incredulously asked.

He nodded like a happy puppy receiving praise. “Did you like it? I did write it with someone in mind, after all,” he gently poked her forehead, laughing at when she slightly recoiled with a yelp.

“I-I liked it...loved it actually,” she admitted, feeling her cheeks grow warm. So she hadn’t been thinking too much after all.

“Why did you use berries, though?” There were thousands of metaphors he could’ve used, but what made him choose fruits?

As if he had been waiting for her to ask, he flung himself at her again before nuzzling his face into the crook of her neck. It caught her off guard, but she naturally wrapped her arms around him. “You said you liked strawberries.”

Jiyu had never felt so touched. It was a small, minuscule detail that she had quickly mentioned on a VLIVE. Never did she imagine Sunwoo taking that small fact to turn it into a song about her.

Her arms tightened around him, and he chuckled before looking up into her face. Seeing how shocked she was for words, he craned his neck up and kissed her cheek. “Lovebug?”

“I’m kind of jealous though...” she quietly mumbled to herself, hiding her face because she genuinely felt like she was about to explode from how much love she had for the boy in her arms.

“Hm? Jealous?”

“Nothing, never mind,” she quickly denied, not wanting to sound selfish with what she was about to say. It was his birthday, he wasn’t supposed to be worrying about some childish thoughts of her’s.

“No, say it!” Sunwoo whined, throwing in a pout for good measure, “What are you jealous about?”

A few moments of silence passed and Jiyu still couldn’t bring herself to look at him, who looked at her with huge sparkling eyes as he eagerly waited for her response. Hearing that she was jealous, as self-centered as it may sound, brought a smile to his face. It meant that she loved him enough if she harbored such feelings.

“Because other people get to hear this, too,” she hesitantly admitted. Her cheeks burned once the words left her mouth.

Sunwoo couldn’t help the look of astonishment that flashed across his face. He thought his love for her couldn’t grow any bigger, but here he was, proved wrong as he felt his heart go pitter-patter.

Her innocent words paired with her pink cheeks sparked a flurry of emotions within him. “Aigo, lovebug,” he lovingly cooed, chuckling when she started to whine in utter embarrassment before hiding her face in his hair.

“You’re cute,” he quipped, sitting back up and smirking at her half-hearted attempt to glare at him.

“See? It was stupid, that’s why I didn’t want to say anything—”

“I never said it was stupid, love. I genuinely find it cute that you worried your pretty little head over that,” he chuckled, giving her hair an affectionate ruffle.

“But it’s a song that expresses my love for you. Just because I let other people hear it doesn’t mean it’s not a special song for you or me.”

Jiyu quietly chuckled before breathing out an okay. Crawling into his lap, she looked up at him with puppy eyes. “Then can you sing it to me? I wanna hear it live,” she requested with a cheeky grin.

Sunwoo huffed before pulling her closer to him. “You’re a needy one aren’t you?”

Snorting at his innuendo, one hand reached up to pat his cheek while the other fumbled for his phone to play the song. “You love me though, no?” she mumbled, tucking her head under his chin while he played with her hair.

“Unfortunately, I do. I really do! Very, very much,” he quickly added the latter when he saw her lips turn into a pout.

“Then can you sing for me?” she asked. “I want to appreciate my boyfriend’s voice.”

“As many times as you want me to, my berry,” he answered, meaning every word. Pressing a chaste peck to the top of her head, a small smile crossed his lips when she giggled before her finger pressed play.

This truly beat any other birthday celebration he’s had.

Just Japan Line Things (Yuta x JiHo x Shotaro)

NCT 2020 brought us one of the best things: Japan Line

Well Japan line already existed with Yuta and JiHo alone, but ever since Shotaro joined, Japan line has been wildin’

Here are just some Japan line things that Japan line does

They radiate high school bullies vibes

You guys remember that one video where Xiaojun looks really intimidated by Yuta??

Yeah well there’s a video somewhere of Japan line during a NCT 2020 dance practise where they are sitting together and all the members look scared to even look in their direction

You’d wonder how anyone could be scared of Shotaro right?

But when he’s together with Yuta and JiHo he looks so much more confident 

They be talking in Japanese, laughing loudly about something and no one knows what the hell is going on

All they know is that Japan line just has this strong aura about them

Yuta and JiHo’s resting faces can be a bit more intimidating

Mark once said he was sure Yuta and JiHo were planning his dead one evening when he saw their cold stares (they clarified that that wasn’t the case, Mark can live on for another day don’t worry)

But Shotaro’s cute face really balances things out

Matching outfits

Yuta and Shotaro’s Instagram pages have a few posts of Japan line and in most of them they are wearing matching outfits

Whether they are all wearing the exact same shirt or they are just coordinating colours or styles, it’s always matching (for clarification: this is just on Instagram, not an everyday thing)

It wasn’t really a thing before Shotaro joined, but JiHo explained why and when the matching outfits started

“I really like Shotaro’s clothing style. One day we went shopping together and coincidentally grabbed the same hoodie. That’s when we realised we liked a lot of the same types of clothes and styles. Yuta saw that we bought the same hoodie and Taro told me he wanted to buy one for Yuta as well. After that we didn’t want to keep buying the same clothes, but we thought of matching outfits and that’s when it started. I didn’t think Yuta would like it but he was all for it! So that’s why every once in a while we match outfits and take pictures.” JiHo during a VLIVE in fall 2020

Yuta bought the three of them custom matching sneakers and they still wear them

Cooking together

If you watched NCT World 2.0 you know those two are a lost cause when it comes to cooking

However JiHo likes cooking for and with them

Yes, it gets a bit hectic with those two in the kitchen, but she teaches them basic skills and lets them do small easy tasks

In the end the food always turns out delicious and JiHo loves how proud they are of themselves for helping making such amazing food

There’s definitely been some cuts and small accidents (funnily enough, JiHo is often the one getting hurt) and they always help each other cleaning the cuts and patching up the wounds with a band aid

They mostly cook Japanese food

And even though JiHo didn’t really grow up on Japanese food, the boys make her try new dishes

They are always surprised how much it reminds them of the food in Japan and that makes JiHo feel a sense of pride

She ends up really enjoying it and Japanese food becomes one of her favourite cuisines

Maknae JiHo

JiHo is Japan line’s official maknae

Even though both JiHo and Yuta think Taro is absolutely adorable and JiHo sometimes like to baby him, but not too much

Yuta still sees JiHo as the baby of the group and Shotaro thinks JiHo is super cute as well, so she is deemed the official maknae (and by age she’s also the youngest so she doesn’t have a choice)

Yuta’s aura and Shotaro’s height make them tower over her making her look tiny

She’s almost always standing in the middle of the two

Once Haechan said that it looks like Shotaro and Yuta are JiHo’s bodyguards

Mom JiHo

Despite being the “baby” of the group, she often has to look out of the two

Helping Shotaro with Korean (even though he’s so good at Korean now)

Making sure Yuta doesn’t say anything to accidentally expose them

Whenever she’s over at either of their dorms to do something together, whether that’s cook, play games or anything else, JiHo is the one to clean up after the two boys

They have a three-way handshake

Yuta has called JiHo the glue of the group and said she was the reason he got a lot closer to Shotaro

JiHo has an otter and an octopus plushie on one of the shelfs in her closet

Shotaro knows JiHo and Yuta’s favourite drinks and put himself in charge of providing their drinks for them whenever they hang out

Yuta and Shotaro once “stole” JiHo’s phone and took a bunch of pictures of them on it

Before Shotaro moved to the dreamies dorm, JiHo would often stay over at his place

JiHo sometimes crawls into Yuta’s bed when he’s still asleep when she visits early in the mornings and when she feels a bit sleepy (she normally doesn’t like sleeping so close to someone, but when she’s exhausted, Yuta’s bed is the place to be for her. Preferably with Yuta still in bed.)

JiHo also doesn’t mind sharing a bit with Shotaro, which came to Doyoung’s surprise since JiHo doesn’t/didn’t know him for too long before they got so comfortable around each other

A personal dilemma

I feel like I have to explain properly why I have reacted the way I did and why the asks about me not doing videos for Vmin affected me so much. I am sorry for dwelling on this subject so much but it is something that is important to me and effect what I do and how I do it a lot.

This post is a bit confused and I might also come across both as a hypocrite and as "high and mighty". But I believe every person has a responsibility for what they do no matter how small the effect. And I need to get this off my chest. This is a conflict within me that I don't have an answer to yet.

For the last few days I've seriously considered if I should continue with writing analysis for Vmin or not. Because at the end of the day I know what I do have a sort of snowball effect that is out of my control. So asking me to not do videos in worry about Vminies getting delusional faster or me being seen as a analysis maker more similar to some ji/kookers or tar/kookers like tkk/lives made me wonder not only if putting out videos was something that bring more bad than good, but if making any analyses at all was something that brought more bad than good.

Even if I try hard to stay away from sounding delusional and to warn my readers of the problems with believing the things I point out and the narratives I share might still lead to more confidence in Vmin being superior or real. Even if it's not my intention I can't control what people do after reading or watching my material.

Thus if creating leads to more bad for both the Vmin community and perhaps in the long run even Vmin... How can I in good conscience keep doing it?

I always believed and hoped that my way of writing, and of being open and transparent with the problems with shipping analysis would rather at least to some extent halt the ones reading and understanding my stance from turning delusional or over confident etc. That I could be clear about the difference between facts, theories and narrative and make others aware too.

When I started this blog I was just shipping happily and reblogged others posts. Until the "you can't ship Vmin they are friends" issue bothered me enough to write about it so I wrote "The “bromance” issue". Then I kept making material to show why Vmin is just as good and easy to ship romantically as any other ship. Thus my 10 reasons to ship posts etc.

The first time I truly got into analysing territory was with my first song analysis. And even then it was just a feeling that the songs could match and speculation mostly for fun. Vmin kept doing things, and yet I saw a lot of people get angry or defensive just for shipping Vmin. For example as 4 o'clock came out and Vminies got attacked for "making it about Vmin". Already feeling like Vmin's songs kind of fit together, and how other shippers tried to make the songs about their own ships (including 4 o'clock) I started to look closer at various ship analyses and seeing the lack of Vmin analyses compared to other maknae ships made me feel like people just zoomed in on their own ship and ignored everyone else. I couldn't help but want to add my own Vmin interpretations. I wanted to add a Vmin perspective as a sort of counter weight. Especially since I felt the things I saw had more to them than similar theories from other ships. For example the songs, being soulmates, using army as a substitute for each other or my own version of Vlive analysis, which was that Vmin seemed to avoid it rather than them hiding in each other's room. Other ships had these theories, despite Vmin having at least some of these things confirmed. So in a way, the soulmate claim and 4 o'clock was my starting point to look at Vmin in a different way and a bit after that I started making analyses.

It felt weird to see all of these things go ignored when other ship communities made their followers believe in the relationships with a lot less than I felt Vmin had. I never got confident that Vmin was real and I still think the odds of any ship being real aren't that big. But I did feel like many people completely ignored Vmin both as soulmates and as a ship.

So, while asking my fellow Vminies to be careful with believing I kept looking at Vmin and added my biased theories to show it could very much be done with Vmin as well. I never wanted to make people delusional, but having been in many fandoms before I also knew that with size that is something that can't be avoided. I saw that as BTS kept growing and as big Vmin moments happened, that more and more people shipped them. It made me happy. But I also knew it would mean more and more would eventually start to question Vmin the way other ships got questioned. I really think it's something that happens eventually with enough of a following. There are so many ships in Kpop that people believe in and try to prove, it definitely wasn't exclusive to BTS. (You can even look outside Kpop at things like the Sherlock or Supernatural or even Hunger Games fandoms where many speculated that the actors weren't just close, they were romantically involved.)

I wanted to talk about Vmin, but I didn't want to be one of those that told people what to think and to believe me no matter what. I wanted peope to question without "knowing" what the truth was. I was hoping to bring something different than just the safe "this is just my thoughts and you can take it or leave it" disclaimers. I wanted to explain the problems and to remind ourselves (me included) that shipping is something that can easily turn into more if you don't actively remind yourself that we actually don't know the truth. We have narratives that seem to make sense, but so does other shippers... So for many of these belivers it is impossible to be right. Not everyone can be right about their "truth", if anyone, since they go against each other. If Vmin turn out to not be together I do not want to be the one responsible for people believing they were real, only to get hurt when they aren't.

This is something I've always felt, and as I kept writing analysis I always wondered if I really should. Especially since I saw some Vminies get inspired by me or even taking some of my theories and run with them as facts rather than the theories they were. I put things out there, moments and ideas. A narrative for Vmin. And I saw others adapt them and go further with them. I wasn't sure how to feel as I realized my blog perhaps contributed to Vminies feeling more suspicious and slowly more confident in Vmin being more real than other ships.

Even if it was my goal to make people look at Vmin, I guess with all the things Vmin did it all started to feel more "real" for me too. So many of my theories seemed to work and even get proven or added new material. The songs kept coming and Vmin kept being Vmin. But I also knew this exact thing happend with ji/kookers after G.C.F came out. New material that "confirmed" their beliefs and in turn allowed them to become more confident in being right. So I kept reminding myself not to get swept away, because in the end I don't think no matter how much we have gotten, that it has to prove anything besides how much Vmin mean to each other. Romantic or platonic truly doesn't matter.

Another thing that makes a difference to me is also the way I view the different ships if they would actually be real. For example watching ji/kook and ji/kook theories it seems pretty clear they don't mind people shipping them or seeing things between them. I've never seen Jimin be careful, but instead rather bold and almost pushy, with moments with JK. If Ji/kook is together their shippers too believe that they want people to know. With Vmin I saw it a bit differently... I've seen Jimin be careful with how he and Tae comes across since 2014. Why I don't know. But if we imagine there to actually be something between Vmin, then it doesn't seem like it's something Jimin wants us to know. Taehyung is a bit bolder, but either way the "narrative" I see for Vmin if they would be real is that they are careful with getting exposed. Thus there is also that factor to consider when writing theories about them. If Vmin would be real somehow, and they don't want to be "exposed" how is what I do the right thing?

I have had a post in my drafts for a while and I wanted to add it here in case you are interested. After all, this isn't something new that came after the video asks, but rather something I've always questioned. Which is why it really got to me when I got asked to stop doing something for the sake of the community, myself and Vmin.

This is something I wrote a while ago and I decided not to post at the time. I hope you will understand my feelings a little bit better after reading all of this.

I hope you understand where I am coming from and excuse me for generalizing and speaking about the Vmin (and other ships) community as if it's one big force and not many individuals.

Now, I have debated for a long time if I should talk about this at all and basically take a stance in a way I would prefer not to. I know I will lose followers over this, and that's ok. I can't force anyone to listen. But with the way I see the Vmin community grow I also see the confidence in Vmin being real grow. It's natural and happens with all ships eventually, but I still hope Vminies can look at shippers from other communities and realize the same kind of reasoning applies to us all.

I get more messages that sound borderline delusional now than ever.

I always suspected we would reach this point, because again, as things get more normalized and ok to talk about the bolder statements and theories will become. It literally happens with all ships, slowly at first and then gradually worse and worse until you reach truly delusional levels where Big Hit are playing up other relationships to hide the truth or trying to create a glass closet for another ship and where every choice and action has a possible agenda. I don't think Vminies will get worse than other ships that are much bigger and bolder. But I do think we have already changed a lot in the last year. Even looking at my own posts I seem to have at some point escalated from "Vmin seem to have these push and pull moments" to "Vmin's push and pull" if you see the difference. It might be small, but it definitely matters in how my views comes across.

When I write I do try to present facts and then speak carefully and not confidently about narratives or meanings. If we take my song analysis for example I think there is a substantial amount of things even when just looking at facts. But, saying what those facts might mean will in the end always remain a biased guess. Especially since other shippers have their similar theories as well that they believe in 100%. I mean, I could make a case for Tae and Hobi's songs being connected as well. I've seen analysis like this from all shippers at this point, and I can't dismiss them anymore than they can dismiss mine. (As long as they keep to facts.)

I am careful, and even then I see some of my theories being talked about as fact, or att least very close to facts.

From what I have seen I have moments between Vmin I have notcied and shared that haven’t been picked up on before I did it. I still have some things like this I haven’t shared at all, simply because I think fans would run with them and become more delusional simply by knowing about them.

Sadly, the way things are going I feel uncertain if I should share more of these things at all. I don’t want to have to go around and debunk Vmin moments or urge people to watch other ships, because in the end every person has the right to enjoy a ship in their own way. But I do think confidence is dangerous no matter how good moments we get.

Ji/kookers got a lot worse after GCF Tokyo and started to talk about how Big Hit might be working towards a glass closet. And that might sound ridiculous, but I have seen Vminies say the same with the way Vmin has been "shown" as Friends came out and other pretty good Vmin moments from the last year. The question of "Do you think something is up with Vmin?" or "Do you think they are planning something based on the amount of moments we get?" are questions I have gotten many times.

You might think I am being too careful, but because I have been in many fandoms in a period of over 15 years I literally see the same development happen for all different kinds of shipping communities. Real and fictional. Where the fans get more and more confident as the groups gets bigger. It’s a gradual change towards feelings certain and allowing more logical leaps to fill the gaps, but it will get faster and faster once it starts.

I don’t want Vminies to get more and more similar to how many ji/kookers and tae/kookers act and think. Where we find suspicion in everything and allow ourselves to feel confident. (Or worried whenever something goes against that belief.)

I might sound a hypocrite considering I do write analysis on Vmin, but I am sorry to say, the way things are going maybe I shouldn’t anymore.

Every ship in BTS have moments, and every ship in BTS even have believers who truly KNOWS their ship is real. I often used to get the question “do you know this or that about this other ship” and “if you only looked at and knew about xxx you wouldn’t ship Vmin” etc. And honestly, they have a point. Only I think it works both ways for all shippers. We all mostly look at our own ship and have our own narratives and reasons to think they make the most sense. But as soon as we allow narratives to sound like the only or most logical explenation we have lost a big part of our ability to question others and ourselves. That's why I wanted to add the Vmin narrative in the sea of ji/kook and tae/kook theories.

Recently I posted Can shipping turn into conspiracy theories? and part of the reason I did so was because I have seen an increased tendency in the Vmin community to walk this thin line between shipping and belief.

I feel very conflicted honestly. I want our community to try and stay away from being sure, no matter how compelling the arguments. Again, I have literal hundreds of pages about Vmin being weird or doing things I think make them the most likely to be real in some form when looking at BTS.

AND I AM STILL NOT GOING TO BE CONVINCED.

I have followed another group where members kiss when drunk and talk like they ship each other and even if a ship might seem real there is just too much we don't know. And a lot about other ships we decide to ignore or don't know. I have been accussed of being a ji/kooker because I won't say ji/kook being real is impossible. But how can l? How would me saying ji/kook can't be real be any different to the aggressive ji/kookers who has come to me to say "Vmin is cute but ji/kook is real".

Of course every person might have their own level of what might convince them, but we also know that literally millions of other people are convinced of completely different things with incredible certainty.

I don't want to be scared to put my theories out there so they can be taken as facts.

I have said it before, and I know shippers are drawn to confidence, but that's the exact reason to why I choose not to be confident even though it gets me more hate and less followers.

So this is what I wrote a while ago... And hearing people worry about what might happen if I start making videos just made these thoughts resurface. Especially since I didn't feel that video was very analytical, but it still likely would make people notice Vmin in a "what if they are real" way. Again, I use moments that exists, but I also add them in a different context, with a Vmin narrative. If what I write or make seems legit and makes sense then my tone of being careful might not matter. People will get exposed to moments and ideas I highlight and then take them further. That's why I hesitate.

I don't think I am big or influential enough to do much, but just doing 'a little' shouldn't excuse it if it in the end leads to something bad, more than it leads to something good. That's why adding YouTube as a platform doesn't make much of a difference in my mind if I still do what I do here. Sure YouTube is bigger and things get spread faster... But I write much more analytical and questionable things here than I did in that video, and even if it gets spread slower and to less people isn't what I do here in a sense then worse?

If me making videos makes some of you nervous (which I understand and relate to) then what will it lead to if I post basically a book on everything weird I've seen and thought in regards to Vmin?

I want to feel like I add more good to the community than I bring bad. I always thought I was doing the former as I tried to make my followers feel open minded rather than convinced. Now I don't know where I stand anymore and so I feel even more unsure of what to do.

Maybe I should have kept this all to myself and not vented out my worries to you. But I take this rather seriously and while I love what I do and love being part of the Vmin community I am feeling conflicted and I felt like sharing why might be good for me.

I know this was long and I applaude you if you managed to read through it all. I am truly so happy to have gotten so many nice and understanding and kind messages from you all. And many of you even saying you are happy you came across my blog and that I brought a new perspective, made you more open minded or even kept you from turning delusional. It makes me feel like I at least did some things right. I purple you all. 💜

The fans loved you and everything that you did for them, a few of them had convinced you to turn your personal Instagram into a business account so that more people could find you. You were always promoting self-love and how to love yourself a lot as the boys and Jin helped you a lot with it since it was he and the boys that had helped you anyway.

"You alright?" Jin asked when he came in from the studio one night to see you scrolling through something on your phone, you were frowning at it but had a small smile on your lips.

"Someone made a fan account?" You laughed nervously and showed him the phone screen. Someone had created an entire Instagram page dedicated to you and your way of promoting self-love. There were video edits and image edits, and although you and Jin were together and had many photos together not a single one appeared on the account. The owner - whoever it was - claimed that this was a place just for you and your positivity, not that Jin wasn't positive but they wanted a place to express their love for everything you did for them and many other people alike.

"It's sweet, they're all sharing stories about how you've helped them grow and learn to love themselves." Jin continued reading through the stories and told you some of the ones that he saw. They really loved the way that you used your platforms in a positive way and how you were always kind to everyone that you met even in real life, fans came up to you and you were always calm to them.

Yoongi:

You were an Instagram influencer before you and Yoongi started dating but once it was announced that you were together your account got bigger and you were recognised more whenever you were Yoongi or alone.

"It's a small interview, you'll be okay." Yoongi said as you stood in the waiting area with him, you'd been asked to give a small interview after some Army and some of your fans had nominated for you an award. You'd won by a landslide but now you had to give an interview about why you had won and what your account was about.

"They love you, it'll be fine." He assured you, he took hold of your hand and reminded you why you'd been nominated in the first place. You’d been nominated for ‘Inspirational influencer of the year’ someone who had been a positive influence to those who follow them,

“Y/n?” You looked up and followed a lady into her office ready to do the interview.

When it came out online everyone loved it, complimenting you on everything that you had mentioned in the interview. You’d been questioned on everything you posted about, and why you posted them and you said there was too much negative in the world and everyone deserved to think positively about their body and everyone elses body.

“People come in all different shapes and sizes, not everyone is going to blend into one mould and everyone should be different. More power to you if you’re different, you’re unique and brilliant in your own special way.” Yoongi read out the last quote you’d given and you smiled at him as he came over and gave you a kiss on the cheek, reminding you of how proud he was of you.

Hoseok:

"No, look I'm telling you it wasn't her it was the one that was in the closet-" You stopped talking to Hoseok about the killer show you had started that morning when you saw a fan standing behind him.

"Hi." You said with a smile to her and she smiled back,

"Do you want me to take a photo of you together?" You offered but she shook her head and smiled,

"I wanted to talk to you...to thank you actually." You and Hoseok both looked taken back. Your relationship had been out for a year and you'd had a couple of fans come up and thank you for keeping Hoseok happy but this was different.

"I wanted to thank you for always putting out positive vibes for us, for all body types. You're always so nice with us and other people and you're so sweet." You smiled at her as she continued to list the things she was thankful to you for. Hoseok smirked from his seat as he watched her talking to you.

"You're always putting out realistic goals for everyone's body it's just a nice change to see that instead of all the other people that are too skinny for words, or try to put on unrealistic goals." You smiled at her and moved over so she could sit down next to you and ask you more questions because you could tell the conversation was far from being over.

"What work outs do you do?" You shrugged your shoulders and looked at Hoseok,

"Dancing with him mostly but sometimes I run or swim when I feel up to it." It was as though she was taking notes down in her head but she smiled and told you she was going to try them all out at some point.

Namjoon:

You made videos online for people to watch, you'd been doing it for years and continued to do it when you were dating Namjoon but the small following you had gathered had grown into a huge one since Army wanted to watch the person who made their idol happy but they were also learning a lot from you. They started to love you more for your than just because you were dating someone that they loved, you were always coming across as positive in the videos and you never used Namjoon to grow your own following. The only time he’d ever appeared in videos were in bloopers or the one time you did a dance practice together but they loved it. They also loved the fact that you were always trying to spread body positivity on your youtube account as well as all of your social media accounts, you’d noticed someone being hated on in your comment section and you went into the comments and defended them against people who were being mean. Army joined in and decided to help defend the girl that had been bullied on.

“You took it down in a positive way though, no one bullied them back.” Namjoon said that night, you’d curled up next to one another in bed and you told him you were worried it would reflect badly. But the girl who was being attacked didn’t deserve it.

“You did the right thing Jagi,” He wrapped his arm around you and kissed the top of your head.

Jimin:

You were backstage in the changing room going through twitter when you found the thread about yourself, it was bizarre to you to find something like this. It was a thread dedicated to you and the way your body was shaped, focused on what you ate and what you did to maintain your figure. You read through it all before showing it to Jimin after his concert,

"They got some things wrong though, do I correct them?" You didn't want to piss anybody off by telling them they were wrong but you also didn't want people trying out the diet and workouts they'd put down that you did when you didn't.

"Yeah, if they're wrong you should make it right Jagi." He went off to shower after giving you a kiss on the head and you retweeted the thread telling them all of the corrections. Mentioning that you didn't have a specific diet type and just mentioned everything you ate on the daily basis and mentioning the actual workouts that you did. Instead of the harmful ones that had been listed that you had done.

“All good?” Jimin asked jumping over the back of the sofa and sitting down next to you, you handed him your phone proudly and smiled.

“They love you for this,” He chuckled reading through some of the comments that were thanking you for spreading light on everything that had been said in the thread and thanked you for being the way you were.

Taehyung:

You were doing a vlive with Taehyung, he’d invited you on to react to the newest music video and the new single that Army had been given earlier that day and it had started with you giving your first impressions and reactions but it had somehow turned into q&a session about you. Army asking you questions on your body type and how you managed to maintain it even when you were travelling a lot with Taehyung.

“I tend to work out in the gyms with him whenever he’s on tour and when we’re home I’ll normally just do some dance routines,” Then the questions started to flood in about what you ate and questioning you on advice for clothing styles that would best suit people of simuliar build.

“I tend to dress for me rather than everyone else, don’t let anyone put you in a box. If you want to wear something, wear it. Simple as that.” You giggled as more questions flooded in but you tried to keep the vlive on track of what was happening and what the vlive was originally about.

Jungkook:

You were sitting on your phone scrolling through your Instagram comments to try and reply to as many people as you could, you always tried to do this after posting something because a lot of ARMY would come to your comment section and ask for opinions on things, or question you on your body type and you didn't mind answering them.

"What's wrong?" Jungkook asked when he looked up at you, you had furrowed your eyebrows together and you were staring down at your phone.

"Nothing, I'm just trying to think of how to respond to something that someone asked." He moved to sit next to you and you showed him the question,

"Might be better to go live and talk about it." You nodded in agreement and opened up an Instagram live. Jungkook moved away from you again not wanting the entire thing to be about him being there.

"Hi guys, I'll wait for a couple of you to flood in and then I'll talk about the question that was left under my photo." You said with a smile trying not to come across as nervous, you'd never done anything like this before. The only time you'd been on a live video was with Jungkook and even then the focus was on him and not you and your body type.

"Okay so the question was ''How do I dress for our body type, we're the same way and I can't find anything that looks nice." You sighed and scratched the back of your neck.

"For me I tend to dress however I want, or in a way that makes me feel confident. Don't let anyone ever tell you what you can and can't wear, if you like it and the outfit makes you happy, wear it." You read through some of the comments that were moving quickly.

"You're always so positive about these things, how do you do it?" You smiled as you read it out and shrugged your shoulders.

"My whole life I was brought up being told what I did and didn't look good in, what people didn't want me to wear and in the end I decided that I would do whatever I wanted to do. Wear what I was confident in and not care what anybody else thought about it. It took me a long time before I finally got to that point but dress how you want is the answer to that." The live continued on for another hour until they ran out of questions and then you ended it, Jungkook coming over to you and hugging you from the side.

"You did good Jagiya," You hummed and closed your eyes resting your head on his shoulder and smiling about how lucky you were to have him.

Some thoughts on the Tae, JK & Jimin VLive...

JK and Jimin are like frat boys, very close and have no boundaries like best friends. Also, I think both are night owls, whereas Tae isn't as much any more. JK going to Jimin's room reminds me a little of the first night of In the Soop 2. It's clear that JK and Jimin are close, and every time I see them interact it always comes across as playful and frat boyish.

There is no jealousy between the 3 boys. It's clear they love each other.

Tae had invited JK to live, not Jimin it seems, but Jimin turns up first. Why was that? Perhaps to be a buffer between any potential Taekook issues, as has been the case in past VLives?

JK also said he's going to be going to Tae's tomorrow after the concert (and if there's a V Live, let's see who else turns up!! lol)

So we might be either getting a JK Christmas song or a Taekook song before the end of the year (or more likely a JK song co-written by Tae). Also, possibly another Jimin song too. Though, having said that, the fact that Tae stated they JK and him had been writing songs suggests that maybe there is more than one Taekook song out there in the world. Also about a potential subunit, when they were making the BE I did wonder whether we might be getting a Taekook mixtape a few times, because of a secret project that Tae mentioned regarding him and JK.

JK kept staring at Tae, and complemented him again when he didn't have make-up on.

It seemed like they weren't alone, because all 3 occasionally would look to their right (our left) off camera to someone. Tae did so when talking about JK coming over, JK did it after Tae spoiled the mysterious and possible Taekook song. I think this also meant that the Live could have been pre-planned in some way. Though I don't know what that means, yet!

When JK came in, Tae touched his fingers to his lips, almost like he was going to blow a kiss.

I was a little confused about the whole YouTube channel and V Live profiles. It's clear they have them, but they are certainly not under MinGukie (clearly an alternate Jikook ship name), because Jimin seemed embarrassed about that. Plus, some believe it's in reference to this: https://twitter.com/hurroopai/status/1464889416548241411?s=20 which would make some sense.

And of course there is confusion about Ramen or maybe husband, who knows...

I think once the lives have been properly subtitled, we'll be able to see more nuance to the interactions.

Regarding living arrangements and hotel rooms:

I think we keep getting mixed signals about Taekook for a reason. Firstly, they are in the closet, and like most people in the closet who have been protecting their sexuality for years, they've built up a very convincing story about who they are. It's easy, key is using first-person pronouns to describe things, (my / I / mine) or conversely if you're in a relationship with someone, you make sure not to say "ours or we" but the person's name. I've read enough biographies to learn this.

Also, I've never been one of those Taekookers who believe the boys actually live together or share a room 100% of the time. In Seoul, they have separate places where they live, but it's obvious from what other members say in that they always spend time together. I think since the infamous V Live in 2019 where it's clear they were sharing a hotel room, Taekook now have separate ones for logical and security purposes. Also, as two introverts, both Tae & JK actually like spending time alone. So separate rooms make sense both for appearance’s sake but also for them to spend time alone. As an INFP personality myself, like Tae and JK before he became a ISFP, I love spending time by myself even from people I love.

NOTE: Introverts, both INFPs & ISFPs (as well as other introverts on MBTI) require time alone to recharge. Because being with others can be exhausting for them, including partners.

So yeah, they don't "live" together, or are always share a room, but that doesn't mean they aren't together.

December 31st, 2019 / January 1st, 2020

Following New Year’s Countdown, members take turns to talk about their resolutions. Tae says he wants to occupy himself with activities that heal his mind, although we understand it’s simply to maintain or - if possible - increase the level of happiness he experienced during 2019 as he said it was a happy year.

Jungkook interjects, interested in knowing whom he would do such activities with. If we go over prior events we can see that Tae had been going on trips with his family and various friends, including him & the wooga squad on a yacht, while Jk saw his own friends and relatives, complaining about Jhope and Jimin being the only members he had seen during their 1 month-long vacation on mid 2019, which could or could not be true, but if Taekook briefly saw each other they wouldn’t have been able to go anywhere outside an apartment. Jungkook could be bothered by this lack of private adventures and shared experiences (disregarding their variety shows). Wooga squad had also met up during Christmas Eve. Again, we don’t know if Tk spent some little time together or not.

Tae responds by saying there are many things that he can do alone. That answer doesn’t quite satisfy Jungkook who asks “not with us?”. It seems like Jungkook thought that they could be hanging out more than what they were and that Taehyung was going overboard with the closeting to the point of slightly distancing himself (although not reaching awkwardness like they later tried to sell).

Jungkook actually wrote a song that could give insight into this situation since it could have been written around this time. The Japanese demo was finished before March 2020 since it was first mentioned then, probably written only a few months before. Jk drew a big, artistic eye on a whiteboard on Dec 4th, which suggests he was already working on the songs’ adaptation to the Japanese film which gave it its name. This means he wrote the Korean version before December of 2019 and it had nothing to do with the pandemic. “Your Eyes Tell” talks about Jk being fearful of someone leaving him, even crying over it. He wants this person to believe him when he says that he wants a future with them no matter the hardships, even if he can’t say it out loud yet (meaning not ready to come out yet?) and his past demons haunt him sometimes (his lowest being late 2017/ early 2018). To believe him when he says that he finds this “darkness” to be beautiful if they are together. He says the world would be dull without the other and that he won’t take his eyes off of this person making sure that they don’t leave his side. If we assume this person to be Tae then, for whatever reason, Jk sensed that Tae was doubting Jk’s determination to keep going with their relationship, maybe due to the added difficulties that came with living in different apartments since around July 2019 and the weight of the prolonged closeting strategies. Jk may have interpreted the beginning of what seemed like a distancing as some sort of test where Tae gave him an easy way out or feared that if the situation progressed in this direction Tae would end up falling into thoughts that went something like “I should be the one to put an end to this for Jungkook’s sake” so he instead reassured him about his love through a ballad. It’s unclear whether Jk had real reasons to worry or he was just insecure about the changes in their relationship (living situation + heavier closeting = less private time together) and linking them to Tae’s past tendencies where he thought Jk would be better off without him.

Continuing with the topic, the night prior to this vlive Tae announced that he had recently written the first version of a song. It was written somewhere between the 14th & the 31st of December of 2019 and it seems like he was talking about “Sweet Night”, a song that was said to be completed by the start of March 2020 for the drama “Itaewon Class”. While we think that this song is based on Tae’s past experiences (finding common ground with the drama) from when he first realized he was deeply in love, unsure if the other still felt the same way, it was necessary for him to be able to relive the emotions he once felt, as he explained about his general creation process. The song tells that they had already crossed the line or grazed it at some points, but the sentence “are you my best friend?” & the part where he regrets realizing he’s in love only after the opportunity had passed are much more fitting to earlier in their relationship when things had never been labeled as romantic nor gotten serious, prior to an actual relationship ever ensuing which only happens at the end of the drama (not compatible with their mutual, unwavering gestures of love & compromise done throughout the previous years in addition to them “hiding” things like them sharing hotel room = having a serious relationship). The adaptation of Tae’s beloved webtoon inspired him to rediscover these emotions as it was also an opportunity to be part of an OST for a drama that his friend had a role in, but it also makes you wonder if he was truly in danger of going through the regression that Jk feared, Tae’s mind going back to the time they missed out on love. The song includes phrases such as “now my forever is falling down wondering if you’d want me now”, “I wonder if you are too good to be true” & “guess we were ships in the night” (meeting for a brief moment, or coming close to doing so, but then losing sight of each other due to the darkness). This last sentence is perhaps the most worrisome because it feels timeless, easily applicable to his musings at the time of writing, knowing they have to hold on tight to not part ways again because, as Jk reassuringly says in YET: “even this darkness we see is beautiful”.

”Sweet Night” opens with the lyrics “on my pillow/can’t get me tired/sharing my fragile truth”. On the 14th of December of 2019 Tae said he couldn't sleep well those days and that it could be due to it being the end of the year. It’s something he recouringly has trouble with so it can remind him of other occasions in which he had that problem. He usually writes down his emotions in his diary and revisits them. He also mentioned Itaewon Class.

On the 31st of December he then said he wrote a song.

The 6th of March of 2020 he talks about “Sweet Night”. He was saying it was hard to convey how he wanted the instrumental to sound to the staff (“express what’s in his mind”), but it was completed briefly before this vlive.

Regardless, “Your Eyes Tell” tries to retain someone BEFORE the end approaches, acting as a reassurance in case the other doubts (similar to “My Time”, released in February of 2020, where he promises they’ll overcome the restrictions), and we don’t think they broke up in 2019 due to many reasons, among them Tae saying in his final comments that it was a happy year with no particularly sad moments. January 25th was then the start of Tae being quite loud on Weverse throughout 2020 by mentioning Jungkook the most out of the members on free will (disregarding their iconic public exchange initiated by Jk on the 15th) and giving special attention to Jk-related questions as well as Taekook-related usernames. An indication of Jk’s efforts having an effect and Tae feeling encouraged to add subtle ways in which he could play with or challenge the exaggerated closeting limitations? An interesting set of rings also appeared within the month of January and it must’ve been Tae who gave Jk two rings out of the set of five that he initially wore himself. Jk held dearly onto them.

I am just really curious about something like genuinely.

First of all i personally really really enjoy jikook's, or minkookie now, bond they make me smile until i get teary eyed but i am one that is still on the verge of believing they are a romantic couple. So please explain this to me from your perspective.

Now in todays vlive where JM was giving us the tmi about JK i felt or comprehended that this would not have been said in that manner if they where a couple especially a long term couple. Why would it be something "funny" or weird for my partner to come sit and do nothing in my room, why would JK need to have the urge to defend this exposure with "JM room is the closest" why would TH be surprised to find JK in JM's room (even though i understand that TH wanted to go to JM room specifically) it should be a normal occurrence. Personally i dont think these kind of situations show us that jikook are a romantic couple it just proves that they are EXTREMELY CLOSE and that they do have a natural gravitation towards each other. Its just feels like too much of "tmi" to be tmi of a couple. If you get what i mean

About the neck bite/hickey in my opinion this too much effort to be "let down" for a "platonic pair"😜 but what make me doubt(especially after seeing a bunch of other picks of both of them with unexplained marks on theirs necks that look exactly like the one JK has) again is the telling of the story. This is something supposedly intimate or can lead to intimate acts why share it as a funny story or why even share with an apology. Why did jin and TH seem weirded out or kind of off when they heard the story from JM again this is to much "tmi" to be of a couple

I was going to wait for the fully property translated Vlives, I really was. But my impatience got the better of me (I bet they will come out minutes after I post this🤐).

I promise that if there is anything there that makes a difference or effects what I wrote then I will reblog this with clarifications).

So here are my thoughts on the matter:

I will start by reminding that this is not the first time we hear about JK spending his time in JM's room. This has been going on for years, JM has been telling this to us for years, pretty much the rest of the members have been too. So, this TMI is not really new news TMI. This is pretty old news TMI.

So telling us JK is in the room morning, noon and night is not really something new, and it's definitely not new for any of the members, including Tae. He himself told us in his 2019 Vlive at 1 am that JM & JK were 'hanging out together'. He was also around every single time JM told us or 'complained' that JK was in his room all the time, sleeping in his bed, asking why he kept coming to his room.

So, nothing new here really.

So, why tell us this? Why tell us JK comes to JM's room for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Why tell us JK comes to JM's room, which is right next to his, because he's bored and spends hours in JM's room doing nothing, layingon his bed?

I will say this one more time but with feeling:  JM & JK are a gay closeted couple!!!  And the emphasis is on closeted, hence hiding the gay relationship!!! 

They are a living breathing paradox.  Because on the one hand they really want us to know they are together.  It’s kind of a natural thing.  Not wanting to hide your meaningful long term relationship.  Not to have to live in the shadows, especially when that person you are with is someone you are with all the god damn time, on and off camera (the on camera is also many many hours of the day, and when it’s off camera, well there are staff members around almost all the time).  But then, on the other hand they kind of have to hide it.  It’s the industry they are part of, it’s the society they are part of.  They just cannot come out and say “we are a gay couple in a meaningful long term relationship”.  ‘Coming out’, saying that, well it would have repercussions on their careers (not only theirs, but their bandmates too), on their personal safety and their families too. 

So, they work withing that realm of wanting to show but really can’t show the whole story – or what I like calling: The realm of deniability.  And they push the boundaries of that realm further and further all the time (I have written many posts about this).

Rooms were booked for both separately.  There is no other way around it as long as this relationship is a hidden one.  Even if they were sharing a room, which by what JM told us is practically that – spending morning day and night together.  Eating together, going out together – we saw that, working out together, just spending time together (JK just laying on JM’s bed).  Yeah, I’d say that’s their way to tell us they are spending the days together in so many words, within the realm of deniability, wouldn’t you?  Could they be just good mates?  Well, that’s the whole point, isn’t it?  Telling us they spend all this time together but without telling us they are TOGETHER.

This need for closeness, this need to be within each other’s orbit, even if it’s to lay on the other person’s bed, not doing anything, not interacting, just laying there, physically being next to them just doing nothing, that’s actually a mark of a couple.  Needing the proximity but finding that calm even without actual words or interaction.

We’ve seen this over the years with JK.  JM sleeping, and JK just finding a place by his side to either just sit there, close to him, or lay by his side.  There is a need for proximity.  This is beyond a good friend or bro  thing.

Tae himself told us about going to JM’s room, JK there, and him wondering if it was actually JM’s room.  Tae knew it was JM’s room.  There was a point being made here:

 

Tae ‘thinking’ it was JK’s room (not really) – if he comes to JM’s room and thinks that, what does it mean with hotel staff that come to the room????

Hence, explaining how someone who would see them together might get the ‘wrong’ idea…

 

It’s not that they share a room, no, that’s not it.  It’s just that JK really really really really really really likes JM’s room (cough it’s JM he likes, not the room, cough) very very very very very very much, and that’s why he’s there morning day and night.

So, you ask if they are not a couple?   If this conversation proves they are just good mates?  Nope, not for me.  Only thing it proves is that they felt the need to explain, once again with feeling, why JK is in JM’s room like ALL THE TIME, and the feeling I got was that the explanation wasn’t really for us, or perhaps kind of a pre-emptive strike to something we are unaware of as of yet (if at all).

 

So obviously we are going back into the realms of deniability here. I mean, look at your own ask, it's there already. How, if they are in a long term relationship, is this something they talk about, something Tae is surprised by.

But you see, Tae isn't surprised. This is a pattern of behaviour that has been happening since forever, one that Tae was aware of for many many years.

Now, they are in LA, they order room service, they have hotel staff coming in and out of their rooms, and JK is constantly in JM's assigned room. This is not their own staff, staff that is probably not acquainted with them, and for the better part probably don't know the stories about JK finding his way to JM's room. JK constantly being in JM's room, like all of the time, morning noon and night, well that would be a juicy piece of information to share outside. Perhaps that's something they find the need to explain, again with the deniability. The staff probably do have to sign some kind of NDA, but it's not SK and temptation to spill the beans (financially) might be a more attractive option. So, bringing it up now, well there you have your explanation, no beans spilled, because they were placed neatly on the plate for all of us to see, and that's that.

So, nothing big here.

What I did take from that was that there definitely is no intention or plan to 'come out' any time soon.

And you know what one of my other big takes from the live was?

Tae calling JK to come do the live with him only for JM to show up, almost blurting out that JK’s washing up so he came…

As for your question about the hickey.  It was a conscious decision to bring it up and tell it the way they did.  On the one hand it’s obviously a hickey and whichever way you tell the story, it’s way beyond suspicious.  This isn’t within the boundaries of a platonic friendship.  It just isn’t.  And yet they decided to share it with us.  But they have to do it and still allow for some kind of question marks to remain, so they told the story the way they did, with an ‘apology’ (no apology was needed, did you see how JK was touching it with a smile on his face, while talking about it?).  As for the other’s reactions, what did you want them to do? Imagine this:  your two bandmates, whom you know to be a gay couple in a long term relationship, come to work one day, hickey visible, not covered up by makeup, on camera tell you the story of how said hickey happened.  How would you react?   There is actually nothing suspicious what so ever in the way they reacted there.

If you are still having doubts, which is a natural thing, as nothing is 100% proven unless they tell us so, do go back, check out the content, check out all those moments that made us believe they are the real deal, those moments we detected that physical attraction and moving beyond attraction, those moment we detected the emotional connection, one that is beyond a good friend connection.  Go look at all those, and only then, when you remember all of that, make your decision.

1. You are responsible for creating the characters of Frog and Sticks! What canon Silm event are you most excited to see from their child perspectives?

Soooo many things—but I am interested to see how they will feel when Mae is back on his feet, a warrior more deadly with his left than he even was with his right, the sort of man who can in canon create the Union of Maedhros. The children have seen Maedhros at his lowest, seen him tormented and crushed into the earth in the cruelest of ways. They also saw how he could be his best even when there was no hope or light for him—he protected them and was kind to them and loved them. I am just interested to see how other men’s and women’s opinions might change as Maedhros moves into the next phase of his life, and how the children will, in some ways, always see Maedhros as their Russandol.

Sticks: yeah I knew he was cool before you all realized it

Frog: *drops a rock in Mae’s left hand and curls up in his lap* tell me and my pet rock a story Mae

Mae: I actually have leadership things to do....

Sticks: you owe us for all the stories you didn’t tell us back in the Bad Place

Mae: *tells them a story and Fingon finds the kids sleeping under Mae’s arms twenty minutes later*

(There is also a non-canon event sometime in the future that I want so VERY badly but guess I can’t say because of spoilers *sighs*)

2. We often joke about how this AU is basically our own crazy version of a Silm tv series. What are some of favourite moments in the series so far that stand out to you as particularly cinematic?

There are so many moments, some of the wondrous and stunning variety, and some of the quiet and beautiful....but here are a few that leapt right to my mind:

a. Maedhros and Fingon parting the last time before Feanor divided the families almost forever! Maedhros with his hair in the sunlight on his horse and the line, “see you on the other side, cano!”

b. Gosh DARN it Mae on the cliff, with Morgoth offering him the chance to leap to his death, and he doesn’t take it *cries*

c. FINGON’S CHILD OF THE WOLF MOMENT WHERE HE TAKES MAIRON OUT (ALSO RIGHT BEFORE WHEN MAE GRABS AT HIS ANKLE AND TRIES TO GET FINGON TO SAVE HIMSELF)

d. Maedhros riding into the thrall camp and basically falling into Gwindor and SLINGING AN ARM AROUND HIS NECK YES HUGS ALL AROUND YESSSS

e. Look Ceili fic I know we talk about it all the time but I am here to talk about it again, especially the moment where Mae pulls Caranthir out on the dance floor and then they all dance together and everyone ends up in a pile on the floor except for Mae who just stands over them all laughing I think doubled over and there is so much good energy in that scene I NEED IT ON SCREEN

f. Personally I like to think that Celegorm stalking his way into a club in New York City and beating the living daylights out of Eol was cinematic

g. Maedhros having successfully argued Huan’s way into the journey west, stumbling all tired like up to the stairs, and meeting Nerdanel there, and resting his head on his mom’s neck. The darling tol bby

h. MAE ATTACKING ULFANG FOR THE SAKE OF HIS BROS, GOING FROM DEPRESSED BROKEN BABY WHO HAS LOST ALL HOPE TO DEPRESSED BROKEN BABY WHO HAS LOST ALL HOPE BUT STILL WILL FIGHT FOR HIS BROS

3. Walk me through what an ideal day would look like for Caranthir?

The MOST ideal day would be Caranthir waking up in his little closet bedroom in Formenos and realizing he just had a horrible nightmare, and also realizing that he still has his mom and ALL of his brothers. And then at the breakfast table Feanor says something like “wow I’ve been stupid in a good many ways, and a rotten dad because of that, good thing I have recognized my flaws and shall now be a better person, also Mae you can stop going to live in the city if you want, just stay here with your brothers. Also you know, Caranthir, even though you’re still my least favorite child, I’m proud of you. And not just because these are the best pancakes I have ever tasted.”

Then Caranthir probably helps his mom in the garden, gets some quality one on one time with Mae when Mae helps him make a pie, Mae reminds him how special and good he thinks Caranthir is, and Celegorm and Curufin ask Caranthir to join them for fishing. Not that Caranthir necessarily wants to do that, but he does want to be asked. Then Amras and Amrod ask him to help them with sums, so that he feels like a helpful big brother, and without being asked, Maglor takes out his fiddle and plays the slow-moving, peaceful song that Caranthir loves and Maglor despises because it is not challenging enough

4. What is a character POV you have not written yet about but would like to?

I would like to write something from Maeglin’s POV—I feel a powerful urge to protect that lost boy. He’s had an odd and often terrifying life and he needs a break. Good grief imagine having a mom like his mom, imagine Morgoth commanding you to call him uncle. Ew. Anyway, he’s exactly the sort of character I usually adopt as my son. An angsty sad boy without much future, who needs LOVE

5. If you could recommend only one fic from each author (including yourself, of course) what would they be?

HOW TO PICK?!

TolkienGirl: wayyyyy too many to really choose from but I have to go back to the beginning and say “news, breaking” because of the way it introduces my Feanorian boys, and also because of Mae wearing a flowered apron one minute and then a half open leather vest the next, with his glorious hair tied back!

Mythopoeia: I feel like I have to say “those gathered beneath” because it was so DEFINITIVE of our favorite Irish family, and also Turgon is a great narrator (but since I always talk about this fic I shall also add another, lesser known perhaps: “save ourselves unaided” because it introduces Haleth and more people need to appreciate Haleth and Mythopoeia’s Haleth is SO GOOD)

Victoryindeath2: “a certain slant of light (where the meanings are)” because it was my first Caranthir fic, and so it holds a special place in my heart

Bonus Q: The Feanorians are now a KPop group. What are their hair colors and roles?

I ALSO GOT WAY TOO CAUGHT UP IN THIS SO IF YOU ARE AN AU READER WHO DOESN’T CARE ABOUT KPOP IN ANY WAY YOU CAN STOP HERE, I WON’T BE MAD. On the other hand I think I have really good answers so maybe you should continue lol

Maedhros: He has to be a coppery red-head, doesn’t he? Maybe something of the red color that you once told me you wanted Heeseung to try. He would make a great leader, but ALSO. Also I think that he has had enough stress in canon in and in our AU, so I really just want to give him the opportunity to be merely the eldest hyung, who everyone goes to for comfort, for hugs and advice, and who supports the leader quietly. He is a good vocalist and can maybe rap in a pinch? but we put so much emphasis on him as a dancer that he HAS to be the dance leader. Obviously. Is widely acknowledged as the visual of the group

Maglor: Longish black hair, maybe midnight blue or deep purple. Has tried several different hairstyles and regretted half of them. He claims a specific aesthetic in hair and dress is necessary for him to compose the group’s songs, and while he gets teased by everyone for this he also writes amazing music so? It works? Is definitely a vocalist. His vlives consist of him playing every instrument known to man, and half the time Mae is sitting in the background listening with an awed expression on his face—till he falls asleep. Maglor can’t decide if he is pleased by this or insulted

Celegorm: Usually rocks blond or silver hair, but one time some fool insulted Amrod’s pink hair and the next thing you know Celegorm had pink hair for three months. Probably disparaged Maglor’s mullet phase but tried it once himself as a penalty for a game in a Run Feanorian episode and kinda thought it wasn’t half bad.

Celegorm is the “I don’t follow what the company says” member, “screw the rules if they aren’t good for my fam.” He is also a sick rapper and his diss tracks and mixtapes are things of beauty. He also clearly frequents the gym and will toss an annoyed member—most likely Maglor, but sometimes Curufin—over his shoulder any chance he can get. Has definitely done pushups with Amrod or Amras on his back. He and Mae swept the ISAC games

Caranthir: Typically goes with brown/black hair, which only throws the fandom into more of an uproar when the rare occasion arises in which he actually dyes it some other color. Probably went mint for a music video and Curufin started calling him mint choco boy, which offends him deeply as he is (sadly) on the side of “mint chocolate ice cream tastes like toothpaste.” He’s a vocalist with a rougher voice that is surprisingly pleasing to listen too.

Speaking of surprises, Caranthir never quite understands his own popularity. He didn’t like to do vlives by himself for ages, until Mae encouraged him to do cooking and baking vlives, and now he does one once a month on a schedule. Fans are putting together a book of his recipes

Curufin: He does intense and striking hairstyles and colors, and is probably the most likely to do black hair streaked through with red, teal, green, gold, white, etc. He claims to be the visual of the group and Mae is the one member who always agrees with him. I’d say he is also a dancer, one almost as good as Mae but with a different style, and he has a quick and sharp rap. He is heavily involved in the production of their songs over time.

Here is the thing though—I think, in this better non-canon non-Gold Rush AU universe, that Curufin could be the leader. See, Feanor is not gonna be the company CEO loll. Fingolfin is. And Fingolfin mentors better than Feanor EVER could. And Curufin is a sharp lad, very smart and crafty, and if he could just be convinced to care about all his brothers/group members like he does about himself and Celegorm in the AU, and if he just has proper guidance, allowing Mae to assist him in struggles, going to him for support, I think he would be an excellent leader

Ambarussa: Amras and Amrod have tried every color and color combination under the SUN, and they often coordinate with each other either to match or complement. Amras sometimes gets tired of this, preferring to stick to the general group color scheme, and when that happens Amrod just says fine be like that and goes off and does his own thing. Sooner or later though, Amras always gives in and joins him once again.

The twins obviously have all their hyungs wrapped around their little fingers, even Maglor who is driven insane by them crashing into his room shrieking and giggling when he is trying to write music or run a very serious vlive. As far as their musical talents go, I love when maknaes are ridiculously well-rounded, and these are Feanorian maknaes, so I’m gonna say they can both dance, sing, and rap. People have placed bets on whether they will grow as tall as Mae (spoilers, they won’t, no one ever will, he’s the tallest in Kpop world)

Huan: is the team mascot, and lives in their large dorm with them because Celegorm said so

so jungwoo kinda takes advantage of this

there are other times where taehee’s playing games on her phone and jeno watches from her shoulder

Markhyuck dynamics So unlike most ppl I've always thought of them as more like siblings than soulmates or best friends. They had a bad fight in we young era and didnt talk to eachother for a few months but they just cleared it with it's a misunderstanding for fans in a new vlive. As for why they're more with other members, coz they're 2 grown ass men, they arent dependent on eachother for support like they were as kids. They still are the closet neos along with jeno other than jaedo or dotae. They personally remind me of dom and matt from muse, both are too close for outsiders but they both have their own friends circles and the spend alot of free time separate but are really close.  I've had a feeling for a while that the issue between doyoung and mark was caused due to a markhyuck fight. Doyoung did say that my opinions were different to urs, kind of thing in the video msgs and I believe doyoung defended haechan and he became the bad guy for supporting haechannie. As for them going out together, they're the couple that goes out the most and we see their pics of going out together the most too. Sometimes they're alone, sometimes with other members. Markhyuck are 2 ppl who have very different ways of handling things but coz they grew up together they become closer then others and still are very close. I guess the fanservice has stopped so fans think they're not as close now. Markwoo is pushed alot and yumark is pushed by mark alot. I agree with the anon that haechan guesses Mark's issues before anyone else and tries to make it seem not that big, he supports him alot and mark does the same for haechan. We usually also forget that mark is physically very clingy but the boy still talks in formal korean with the older members and keeps his distance in between them and himself. Haechan is emotionally clingy and gets the older members to respect him and also gets them to treat him like a baby when he wants to (free food and free drinks is a big example) I personally think markhyuck will always be friends even after nct is no more, the rest I've no idea. As for them being good now, they seem like they're back to good moments in their friendship so we'll see alot more cringe markhyuck. PS. Mark might act all annoyed but the boy always does what haechan tells him they're to do, be it swim in the ocean in Miami or play badminton in the new show
