#this project has been hanging over me like a dead goose π#when my cat had a bladder infection he peed on my favorite little couch#so once he got better i replaced the foam seat and the back pillows#BUT the old covers didnt fit so i got a couch sock thing which worked for the seat but not the backrest#SO i had to make a cover for them#BUT i didnt wanna make 2 so i just crammed them into one cover#AND the fabric i bought (online like a dummy) was super thin SO i had to double it up#WHICH MEANT i had to do extra calculations when im profoundly bad at math#ANYWAY i did that and the math was kinda wrong but whatever#AND i had to figure out how to sew a zipper which was easier than i thought it would be#AND once i was done i felt like it looked naked so i made some slip cases for little pillows to be an accent#AND i feel like the knitted blankie doesnt look good with it#SO i got a fat quarter bundle that matches the pillow covers#SOOO im gonna make a quilt to match the couch#if you give a mouse a cookie ass experience tbh#also i think the yellow might be a little too vibrant to go with the more muted blue of the couch socj#but ill be god damned if im gonna make another box cushion cover right now lol
