i think its really funny that sonic is eggmans mortal enemy whos always ruining his plans and eggman is fully aware of what sonic is capable of at this point and that it would be hard to keep him imprisoned and the resistance also receives word that eggman has been torturing him and then when we actually see the prison cell its just sonic chilling on a bench with handcuffs on nothing else holding him back

#i think one of the funniest interpretations of the whole ''they said sonic was tortured but he doesnt act like he was tortured'' thing #is that eggman and infinite were just lying for fun and there was no torture. which you could actually make a case for i think #well i feel like you could argue being imprisoned alone for an extended period of time is a form of torture itself but you know what i mean #this post is about sonic forces btw i just realized i never specified. thats probably a common sense assumption but you know
