Don't Do It - Mattheo Riddle x Reader

A/N: Just a under 1000 word one-shot 😊 And trying to break writers block, haha.

Prompt/s: Write a scene in a library where the characters must whisper or stay silent.

And,

“Dont do it” “But...”

Late afternoon, an hour since classes ended for the day. The library was reasonably busy, due to various groups of students at the tables studying for the next days tests in different classes. It was mostly silent, minus the soft whispers of the students to each other.

Sitting at one of those tables, your boyfriend at your side, you were the only two to have their own table. Which irked a fair amount of students, so every so often you would get dirty looks. Yet neither you or Mattheo cared. Not now, not ever.

You were currently reading over a book for potions. Your boyfriend at your side, chair close to yours. His arm was slung over the back of your chair, his hand playing with the ends of your hair which cascaded down your back. Every now and then Mattheo would lean in, whispering sweet nothings in your ear. Making you smile or giggle. That also got some unkind looks from the other females in the room. As your dear boyfriend was one of the few sort after boys of Slytherin and Hogwarts.

While you weren’t really high up on the list of girls the boys wanted to snog. Though that never bothered you. You weren’t ugly or anything, you were quiet pretty. It’s just boys tended to go for the prettier, and sometimes easier girls. And you might ask why Mattheo chose you. You didn't fuss over him, or make goo-goo eyes at him. Sure, you thought he was cute, even had a small crush on him. But you kept a level head. And Mattheo liked that, as well as the challenge of getting you.

After he got you it just got better and better. Mattheo never got tired of you. If anything, he just liked you more, even loved you. And after getting to know the real Mattheo, you began to love him back. Separate, you were smart while he was a troublemaker. Together, you were yin and yang. You managed Mattheo's wild side, while he brought out the fire in you.

This looked to be one of those moments. For your boyfriend's attention wasn't on you so much any more, rather he was shooting daggers at the Golden Trio. To be fair they had been looking at you both, sour looks upon their faces. Not to mention whispering to themselves while looking to you both.

It was starting to get to you too, but you had more patience then Mattheo. You just knew he was itching to say something, or hex them. The way his hand on your back twitched told you his restraint was wavering. When he drew his hand from you, and hands hid under the table before you both, he had made his decision.

“Don't do it" you whispered, eyes still on the book before you.

“But...” he whispered back.

“I said, don't do it" you repeated, turning the page casually.

“It's just one small hex, love" Mattheo tried to reason.

You sighed, “one small hex will lead to detention, love" you mocked. “You can’t afford another detention. Or else no Quidditch for you".

Mattheo sat there silently. No doubt weighing up his options, hex and detention or play Quidditch. With a soft groan Mattheo pouted, slouching down in his chair. You looked at him from the corner of your eye. You found his childishness amusing. He wanted to hex those three so badly. But Quidditch was his escape.

Closing the book, you leant back in your chair with a small stretch. Shooting a dark look to the Golden Trio, you turned to face your boyfriend. Who had gone back to glaring at the three. You leant into him and placed a kiss to his cheek, before moving your lips to his ear.

“It's alright, love. You can get your payback on the Quidditch field" you whispered sweetly in his ear. “Wouldn't it be just dreadful if Potter was knocked out by a bludger, or hit with a Quaffle".

You moved back just enough to watch the dark smirk cross Mattheo's sinful lips. “Yes, love, just dreadful”. He then turned to place a linger kiss to your own cheek, making you laugh a little too loudly.

Title: Their older sister

Character(s): Azul Ashengrotto, Jade Leech, Floyd Leech (Twisted Wonderland)

Summary: You are the older sister they always adore, someone who cared about them and gave them affection. It is only natural for them to cling to you so.

Warnings/tags: Fem!reader, the reader is probably like around 5 years older but very is vague, platonic yandere themes so obsessive and possessive themes but most of it is just fluff, you are the older sister to Jade and Floyd but Azul also sees you as his older sister.

They always adored you even when they are troublemakers to others, to you they will stop whatever they were doing when you call for dinner and they would curl around your arms almost like puppies as they take their naps on your lap.

Even since they could remember they always went to you when they have a chance. You were their older sister and they always asked you to play with them bothering you when you had to study or had to do another task. You always let them have what they want within limits of course. When Floyd nagged for your hugs you will give them to him, when Jade asked for your affection you will give them to him.

It was amusing to watch when others looked at you and the twins, as you nagged them for playing so rowdy that their hair had become a mess. You were the only one they would listen to. They will stay still as you comb their hair out with your fingertips, leaning closer to you.

Others have tried to do the same, they found children adorable and your little siblings were so. Yet when they tried to reach for them their hands would be harshly slapped away the two merboys did not want any physical affection from others.

You saw it happen a few times before while sometimes they would try to stand still when your eyes were on them. Floyd only had so much patience towards the coos of the older mermaid, while Jade could only do so much with his sharp tongue when he was displeased.

At the end of the day, you have to apologize to others for their rude behaviors and later at home reprimand the two. They always felt a little guilty at first, saddened that their older sister was angry at them yet Floyd can't help but gasp in excitement while Jade smiled as you told them that you will be buying some dessert and if they want something.

Quickly they swam to catch up to you each taking one of your hands as you head to the store.

While you were at the store you sent them to the playground while you pay and from there they meet a little aggressive octopus hiding inside a pot. You and they tried to get the little octopus out of his pot but weren't able to sadly as you glanced at the spells written on the pot's inner wall.

As they grew they started to notice something while their love for you was still the same it seems that the world thought differently about it. While they were small they were allowed to cling to their older sister's arms others would often make remarks about how adorable you guys were yet now while they compliment you and their relationship they could see how unsure their eyes were while they ask your parents if it was really okay for them to continue clinging on to you this much like this.

"They grow at such a fast rate but is it really okay for them to continue on clinging to their older sister's arms? I am just worried that they would not be able to grow at a certain point."

"It is good that they have a good relationship with their sister, I could only wish my own children could get along as well as your kids... but don't you think the twins are a little... much..."

"Are the twins like this at home too? I notice how fond they are of their sister but don't you think they are a little... you know... too obsessive?"

Floyd always seems hostile when it happens Jade knew that his brother was frustrated by their remarks and wanted to bite at them, Floyd constantly asked Jade if he could squeeze them but Jade would only grab him by the should forcing him not to go. They knew if they did something nothing good would happen and someone... someone would drag you away from them.

You haven't heard those talks maybe it was because you didn't care as much as they did or maybe because you never were able to hear them as one of them would always try to drag you away before you could hear the full conversation. Maybe... They didn't want you to hear it... they did not want you to push them away because of what others thought...

They didn't want you to push them away at all.

You were surprised when they came home with a friend. A boy name Azul smiling at him you welcome him to the house. As you watch the three small boys play you can help but mentally sigh in relief. You always worry a little when you see Jade and Floyd having a hard time finding interest in others other than themselves. They would probably tell you that you are another person they care about but you didn't count yourself when you hoped that they could expand their connections with others and not only you.

Maybe they knew about it, maybe they didn't you wondered.

Azul visited often, often enough that you thought they have become pretty close. The three don't let you into many of their conversations they act all sneaky but once in a while when they didn't have something to hide all of them were rather chill take a seat around the table doing homework while you prepare something for them to eat.

While it wasn't often Jade occasionally ask you questions about his homework that you were always willing to help while you put a lot of your focus on Floyd finishing his own work. The boy just refuses to look at his book sometimes really instead choosing to hug your waist whining about how boring this was.

More often than not you just had to wonder if they were ever embarrassed acting like this in front of their friend. You have heard from your friends that siblings weren't really supposed to get along and prefer to ignore one another if they were with friends finding it much more embarrassing to greet each other.

Azul didn't talk to you while he didn't care what the twins do you noticed he kept his distance. And this was the case for a while till you found him alone in the living room, he told you the twins went out to the store to buy something and that he was waiting for them. Seeing as you didn't want to leave the young boy alone you tried to make a small conversation with him. His likes and dislikes, what he often does with the twins (most of which he denied answering) and hobbies.

Azul was just adorable when he tried to look anywhere but you but having your interest in him when it was usually the twins made him flustered. When you asked him about his hobbies he wondered if he should say something about his revenge but instead of saying that he told you that he liked board games.

He flinched when he saw your eyes widen a tiny fraction he thought you would mock him yet instead of doing so you asked if he would like to play a board game with you as you do have them just collecting dust as the twins didn't have much interest in it.

The twins found you and Azul both playing a game both in deep concentration only to be broken when Floyd suddenly grabbed your arm pouting that you would play with Azul but not him.

Azul started to open up to you little by little from there on, while really rare he would ask you questions about his studies as he tried to get ahead of everyone else. Sometimes he would ask to play a game with you before the twins would show up to ruin it all.

But you can't forget that moment when the boy almost called you sister. His red face as he tried to run away while Floyd and Jade adamantly told him that they were absolutely not allowing him to call you that. After some chat, giving Floyd the biggest hug and Jade too telling them that you will forever be their older sister. You told Azul to come out from his hiding pot and that it was okay that he calls you sister too.

You also gave the boy a hug as he tried to cover his blushing face with it but you can see his red ears.

But he liked it... he liked your affectionate attention.

They always hated it as they grew the fact that others would not approve of their clinging nature towards their older sister. They always hated the idea that as time passed there was a chance when you could be taken away from them by someone else when you belonged to them. Your eyes with hearts as you follow that person, and leaving them forever alone.

They hate that they could not really do anything bad else you become rather suspicious of what they do already. The invitation to the night raven academy made you happy for them while they were bitter that there was a dorm system.

Yet they could not say anything when you looked so happy for them. So they made a promise that they would go to the academy and when they finally graduated you and them would forever stay together.

They will make sure that you will be with them whether you want it or not even if they have to use spells and magic or contracts or Floyd's hugs. They will keep anyone who hates their close relationship with you away and trample them where they walk.

They want to stay with you whether the world wants it or not.

Note: I don't write a lot of platonic yandere for the older sibling and I was in the mood for it so here yeah go! Hope you enjoyed reading it.

omg.... imagine Sebastian's and MC great (great?) grand child🤷 was in the harry potter books/movies just being a goofball and hinting/boosting how they came from a great line of wizards/witches - saying stuff like how one knew ancient magic and the other was apparently a troublemaker etc. I would die for a little drabble of the child just speaking with the harry potters characters like this 😭

Headcannons for Sebastian and MC's descendant's bragging about their escapades

they traced their lineage back when they were studying magical history

they always had been told the ancient magic was in their family, but then they really found out about what happened in the 1890's

they would be telling EVERYONE how their great great great grandparents used to fight off poachers and how you basically saved the world together

they would be telling harry potter that he wasn't shit compared to you guys essentially

they would be obnoxiously bragging about how you were friends with the single ancestor of Voldemort that wasn't into pureblood superiority

so their great great great god grandfather (as they liked to put it) was the cool person in Voldemort's line

they would brag about how Sebastian was the best at sneaking into places he wasn't supposed to and how they had all these tips and tricks from notes and journals he left

ron would be mesmerized, harry would be intrigued too, but basically everything he every learned was new to him anyways, hermione would be rolling her eyes but also desperate to learn about the ancient magic

f!grandchild would turn hermione into a menace as they would start trying to sneak into the restricted section and anywhere else they could to get information on how ancient magic worked and where it came from

m!grandchild would be desperate for adventure and dragging ron and harry into even more trouble than they already find

Detective Mickey Pilot: Character Backstories - The Core Four

Surprise! To celebrate finishing my first fanfiction with the Detective Mickey Pilot. I thought it would be fun to share the backstories I made up for the Mickey and Friends characters as part of this version of the world I made for the Pilot. I ended up having to split it into two parts, so I will share the first part with The Core Four today and the second part with the Sensational Side Characters tomorrow.

Well without further ado. Here are the backstories for Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Peg-Leg Pete, and the Phantom Blot.

Mickey Mouse - Estimated Age: Late 20's - Early 30's

Mickey Mouse has lived in Mouseton for almost his entire life. He had a decent relationship with his parents, though he was much closer to his older sister Felicity and family friend Captain Churchmouse. He loved to listen to Captain Churchmouse about his adventures over the sea, and imagine what kind of adventures he would go on if he ever decided to leave Mouseton. He also loved to spend time with his sister, taking pictures for her homemade articles with his trusty Ol’ Reliable and just generally being with her. As a kid, he used to be quite the troublemaker, though it came from a good-nature desire to help. Overtime he developed a more modest and mild personality, but is still the brave and curious mouse we know today. He met Minnie in kindergarten and they have been together ever since. He met Donald during a regional Junior Woodchuck camping trip where they were bunk bed buddies. Even after the camp Mickey still kept in contact with him through emails and they would visit each other in Duckburg or Mouseton as much as they could. Eventually Mickey would meet Goofy who was working as a janitor at his high school and would help him out in watching Max and Goofy would help him learn life lessons. In high school, Mickey and Minnie finally started dating, despite having a crush on eachother since middle school. They have been dating ever since and can’t even imagine a life without each other.

Mickey was inspired by his sister to become a journalist just like her. So he went to college and got a journalism degree at Mouseton University. During his time at college Mickey’s relationship with Donald and Goofy deepened as they formed a bit of a trio. When Mickey and Donald finally graduated, the group split as Donald moved back to Duckburg to new responsibilities and Goofy decided to move to Spoonerville for a “promotion”. However they all still try to keep in touch through group chat and visit each other whenever they get the chance. His relationship with Minnie was also long distance for a bit when she went to a different school and eventually Paris to study fashion. Mickey actually found Pluto around this time, which helped him feel less alone when they weren’t there. After graduating, Mickey was able to get a position at the Mouseton Argus with help from his sister. They didn’t get to work together for long as Felicity ended up leaving for a position at a national news network and the Editor in Chief who liked her and Mickey retired and was replaced with one that didn’t. This new Editor in Chief refused to let Mickey be a part of any major stories and often forced Mickey to do busy work under false pretenses that Mickey will eventually be able to move up. This led Mickey to go after his own stories in hopes that he could prove himself as a journalist. Little did Mickey know that this would result in the capture of one of the biggest criminal masterminds of the world as well as a new opportunity to work as a crime-fighting detective. However, is this the direction that Mickey wants his life to go? Has the capture of the Phantom Blot improved his life… or did it make it worse?

Fun Fact: Mickey is actually a pretty good artist. He specializes in ink drawings and uses very simple organic shapes to make beautiful designs in the whitespace. Often when his friends are down he'll make them cards with unique characters he thought of to cheer them up and a kind message. He also made comics for his sister's newspapers and for the Mouseton Argus. His comics tend to vary between being experimental and artistic or silly gags.

Minnie Mouse - Estimated Age: Late 20's - Early 30's

Minnie Mouse was born and raised in Mouseton. She has a great relationship with her mother, though unfortunately not a great one with her dad and her many half brothers. Though she ends up making up with one of her half brothers, allowing her to bond with her nieces Millie and Melody Mouse. Her mom worked as a gardener and often had her clothes torn up or damaged from working. Minnie would often patch these, which gave her a love for sewing and eventually fashion design. She first met Mickey Mouse in kindergarten and they have been close ever since. Often when her mother was away at work, she would visit Mickey’s house and they would go on adventures in their local neighborhood. She was the more organized of the two, but also not afraid to speak her mind if she felt like she or any of her friends were being disrespected. She is known for her famous or rather infamous “talks��� that tend to make people regret messing with her. She had a crush on Mickey since middle school, but it wasn’t until their junior year of high school that they finally confessed their feelings at the same time and started to date. They are still in a very loving relationship and care very deeply for each other. Minnie’s love for fashion design evolved into a dream to own a boutique store in Mouseton where she can display and sell her own designs. 

She is a huge advocate for bow-centric fashion and believes that she can bring bows back into style. She went to a fashion school outside of Mouseton for a couple of years, but then ended up getting a chance to study abroad in Paris for the rest of her education. Despite showing great skills and taste, Minnie struggled with many of her peers making fun of her designs claiming that bow fashion will never make a return. Thankfully she had the support of her friends and her long distance boyfriend to keep going. She eventually graduated and moved back to Mouseton, sharing an apartment with Clarabelle Cow and Lilly Lamb. She started her own online store called “Minnie’s Bowtique” and hired Lilly Lamb as well as another friend Penny Pooch as employees. Lilly helps with whatever is needed, but later becomes the marketing and social media manager. Penny is temporarily working here as she applies and interviews to get a job in graphic design. Minnie met Daisy Duck online on a forum for small business owners and they’ve been best friends ever since. They often provided each other support for their business and once it was revealed that Daisy’s new boyfriend was Donald, Mickey’s best friend, they started to hang out more as a friend group. The site has been doing decently, gaining meaningful albeit slow growth. But Minnie hopes that once she makes enough profit, she can fully complete her dream and open her own physical store. Can she truly be able to accomplish her dreams as it feels far away from becoming a reality? Would it even matter if the love of her life doesn’t survive his new much more dangerous job? Can she truly get what she wants in life?

Fun Fact: Minnie loves to play softball. She has been a part of a softball team since she was in middle school and even today still plays on the Mouseton Mousers team at the Mouseton Community Center. She is often the pitcher for the teams that she is on with very powerful and tricky throws, though she could still improve on accuracy. Mickey of course tries to make every single game and practice he can, cheering for her on the stands.

Peg-Leg Pete (Percy P. Pete/Percival) - Estimated Age: Mid 40's - Late 40's

Pete grew up in a very large criminal family in a rough part of Mouseton at the edge of town. While Pete had ups and downs with many of his family members, he was close to his mother Maw Pete (Parry) and his sisters Petunia Pete, the mother of Pierino & Pieretto and Petula Pete. But the one person he was the absolute closest to was his cousin Portis Egmont who was practically a brother to him. They bonded due to both being considered the “runts” of their generation and Portis even made him his prosthetic foot. The family Matriarch, Great Grammaw Pete (Patty), owned a settlement of townhouses that have been passed down their family for generations. It was common for members of the Pete family to drop out of high school and join one of the many criminal branches of the family. The family as a whole was never too wealthy, but supported each other through the money they made from their misdeeds. Pete dropped out of high school in his senior year so that he could join the Robbery and Theft branch of the family. He hoped to one day run the branch, but unfortunately his runt status often made that difficult. No matter how many schemes he shared and how many times he tried to prove himself, they either didn’t work or no one would listen to him. Eventually he got fed up and decided to break off from the family to start his own gang with Portis called “Pete’s Gang”.

The two did fine on their own, but decided to hire more members for their gang. They ended up hiring Scuttle and Trudy and together they committed some of the best crimes in all of their careers and formed a sort of family, both figuratively and literally as Pete proposed to and married Trudy after a couple months of working with each other. They even got to work with the Phantom Blot a couple of times just as he was skyrocketing to fame. However, this didn’t last long as Pete decided to take a risky but rewarding job for the Wind Willows Weasel gang. The job ended up failing, and when Pete got arrested he ratted out the weasels to reduce his sentence. But this ended up affecting not just the weasels, but also the rest of Pete's Gang as Scuttle and Trudy also got arrested because of this. Ashamed, he took the reduced sentence. When he got out, he did attempt a prison rescue, but was unable to find where the rest of his team went, leaving him all alone.

This caused Pete to go into another depression as he wandered around Spoonerville, the town next to the prison he was let out of, not knowing what to do. He ended up accidentally stopping a crook from stealing from a poor woman and gained her gratitude. This woman was Peg Percival who decided to take Pete out to lunch as a thank you. When she learned about how lost he was, she decided to take him in as a project. She let him rent a room at her house and got him a job as a used car salesman. Eventually they got married, he took her last name, and had Pete Junior or PJ. Though Pete likes his new family, he still thinks about Trudy and what could have been. He ended up becoming the owner of the dealership he worked at, and when she retired she made Pete the new owner and even let him change the name. Things were going great, until Pete realized that there were quite a few unpaid bills from the previous owner and that the dealership was not doing as well as he thought. It didn’t help that Peg was also pregnant with another child, Pistol. To make matters worse some of the members from the Wind Willows Weasel gang stopped by the dealership to get some getaway cars and instantly recognized him. When they questioned him, Pete quickly came up with the explanation that the dealership is a front for future criminal activity and was hoping to work with them again. He also gave them some free getaway cars, and helped them forge documents for them, in hopes of getting their good graces and to take suspicion off of him ratting them out. It works and he ends up working alongside them and makes quite a bit of money, enough to save the dealership and support his new growing family, without Peg knowing a thing. Scuttle even ended up dropping by from who knows where to help and Pete was introduced to the corrupt lawyer Sylvester Shyster who worked for the weasels and now helps Pete narrowly avoid any legal trouble. Pete even got back in contact with Portis, though he was too busy running his own criminal business to join in. Pete was so successful that he even started to impress his family, when they heard. He decided to open another “dealership” in Mouseton and move his family there so that he could work closer with them and expand his growing criminal empire. He has been in Mouseton for about a year and has been able to make massive amounts of money without the police suspecting a thing. But how can Pete keep this up? And could the new detective provide more trouble than he expected?

Fun Fact: Pete was actually part of his football team at the high school he went to. He initially joined as part of a scheme, but ended up liking it enough to stay on. He even teased the idea of going into professional football. Of course this never ended up happening, as he ended up being part of the reason why the football team lost the playoffs that would have taken them to the state championships. Though it wasn’t entirely his fault as there was a “goofy” cheerleader that got into the way. He actually still uses what he learned from football on some of his robberies.

The Phantom Blot (Full Name: N/A) - Estimated Age: Mid 40's - Late 40's

The Phantom Blot grew up in a very wealthy family. His father was a top executive at Wright & Thwaites, the largest producer of high quality ink in the world. His mother was a theater actress who had a decent career in supporting roles, but was mostly known for hosting incredible parties for the wealthy to meet and do business. The Phantom Blot was never really close with them as they were more focused on their own goals than him. However, he impressed everyone else around him and quickly gained a reputation as a child prodigy as he won nearly every competition he was in and aced all of his tests. Despite this, he was still as sneaky and manipulative as ever. Easily able to avoid getting in trouble, no matter what he did. Eventually, he decided to get into acting. He had some assistance from his mother but mostly had to guide the rest of his acting career by himself. At the private school he attended, he practically ran the entire drama department with the teacher. Being the director, lead actor, props and special effects manager, head of the costuming department, etc. After he graduated he went to Goosliard to study, while still performing whenever he could. He showed so much talent and promise that he was getting multiple offers begging him to star in their shows before he even finished college. The Phantom Blot's future seemed so bright, but also so empty.

One day, an acquaintance asked if the Phantom Blot would help them on a robbery, to pay off a big favor the Blot asked of him. The Phantom Blot, so disillusioned and bored with his life, agreed and they set off to rob a bank. However this heist ended up changing the Phantom Blot’s life as he realized how much he loved the heist and how effectively he was able to avoid the police during a chase. As the Phantom Blot still worked to finish school, he started to be a part of more and more thefts and realized he enjoyed being a thief more than he enjoyed acting. So he abandoned his previous life and started a new life as the “Phantom Blot”. As the Phantom Blot he accomplished some of the most incredible feats in criminal history and raking in billions of dollars. He gained a massive reputation around the world for being an unstoppable criminal genius who has never been caught and has always left the police befuddled in his wake. He even got a request by F.O.W.L to work as a top agent with one of the best salary and benefit packages they have ever offered. But his refusal ended up creating a rift between him and the organization. He continues to go on bigger and badder heists to prove himself. He prefers to work alone, but will hire others if it is required to complete a heist. One of the first groups he hired was Pete’s Gang and he continued to work with them a couple of times before they broke apart. Though he still works with Portis every once in a while. Except for an odd three to four month break, The Phantom Blot has been a frightening force that no one has been able to stop and most doubt that he even can be. Or at least he was, until a little mouse got into the way. Regardless, the Phantom Blot has achieved fame, power, and riches beyond anyone’s wildest dreams including his own and yet he still hungers for more. Can his greed ever be satisfied? And with a new mouse causing problems for him, is it possible that the Phantom Blot has finally reached his limit?

Fun Fact: The Phantom Blot is a fantastic singer. He was professionally taught by a private tutor while he was young and trained himself to have perfect pitch. His voice has a very operatic element to it that is both haunting and alluring. He typically doesn’t like to sing for others, unless he is performing, but he will often sing for himself in places he assumes are abandoned. However, if a place isn’t as abandoned as he thought, some others may catch his singing, though they never find out where it is coming from. This accidentally led to the creation of many urban legends about these locations being haunted by a musical ghost.

Detective Mickey Pilot: Character Backstories - The Core Four

These are the backstories for the four most important characters in my fanfiction series Detective Mickey. They are Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Peg-Leg Pete, and the Phantom Blot. These characters will be influencing the plot the most and will have the most stories written about them.

I will probably make updates over time as the story grows.

Note: This is not required to understand my story but moreso just extra details for those interested.

Mickey Mouse - Estimated Age: Late 20's - Early 30's

Mickey Mouse has lived in Mouseton for almost his entire life. He had a decent relationship with his parents, though he was much closer to his older sister Felicity and family friend Captain Churchmouse. He loved to listen to Captain Churchmouse about his adventures over the sea, and imagine what kind of adventures he would go on if he ever decided to leave Mouseton. He also loved to spend time with his sister, taking pictures for her homemade articles with his trusty Ol’ Reliable and just generally being with her. As a kid, he used to be quite the troublemaker, though it came from a good-nature desire to help. Overtime he developed a more modest and mild personality, but is still the brave and curious mouse we know today. He met Minnie in kindergarten and they have been together ever since. He met Donald during a regional Junior Woodchuck camping trip where they were bunk bed buddies. Even after the camp Mickey still kept in contact with him through emails and they would visit each other in Duckburg or Mouseton as much as they could. Eventually Mickey would meet Goofy who was working as a janitor at his high school and would help him out in watching Max and Goofy would help him learn life lessons. In high school, Mickey and Minnie finally started dating, despite having a crush on eachother since middle school. They have been dating ever since and can’t even imagine a life without each other.

Mickey was inspired by his sister to become a journalist just like her. So he went to college and got a journalism degree at Mouseton University. During his time at college Mickey’s relationship with Donald and Goofy deepened as they formed a bit of a trio. When Mickey and Donald finally graduated, the group split as Donald moved back to Duckburg to new responsibilities and Goofy decided to move to Spoonerville for a “promotion”. However they all still try to keep in touch through group chat and visit each other whenever they get the chance. His relationship with Minnie was also long distance for a bit when she went to a different school and eventually Paris to study fashion. Mickey actually found Pluto around this time, which helped him feel less alone when they weren’t there. After graduating, Mickey was able to get a position at the Mouseton Argus with help from his sister. They didn’t get to work together for long as Felicity ended up leaving for a position at a national news network and the Editor in Chief who liked her and Mickey retired and was replaced with one that didn’t. This new Editor in Chief refused to let Mickey be a part of any major stories and often forced Mickey to do busy work under false pretenses that Mickey will eventually be able to move up. This led Mickey to go after his own stories in hopes that he could prove himself as a journalist. Little did Mickey know that this would result in the capture of one of the biggest criminal masterminds of the world as well as a new opportunity to work as a crime-fighting detective. However, is this the direction that Mickey wants his life to go? Has the capture of the Phantom Blot improved his life… or did it make it worse?

Fun Fact: Mickey is actually a pretty good artist. He specializes in ink drawings and uses very simple organic shapes to make beautiful designs in the whitespace. Often when his friends are down he'll make them cards with unique characters he thought of to cheer them up and a kind message. He also made comics for his sister's newspapers and for the Mouseton Argus. His comics tend to vary between being experimental and artistic or silly gags.

Minnie Mouse - Estimated Age: Late 20's - Early 30's

Minnie Mouse was born and raised in Mouseton. She has a great relationship with her mother, though unfortunately not a great one with her dad and her many half brothers. Though she ends up making up with one of her half brothers, allowing her to bond with her nieces Millie and Melody Mouse. Her mom worked as a gardener and often had her clothes torn up or damaged from working. Minnie would often patch these, which gave her a love for sewing and eventually fashion design. She first met Mickey Mouse in kindergarten and they have been close ever since. Often when her mother was away at work, she would visit Mickey’s house and they would go on adventures in their local neighborhood. She was the more organized of the two, but also not afraid to speak her mind if she felt like she or any of her friends were being disrespected. She is known for her famous or rather infamous “talks” that tend to make people regret messing with her. She had a crush on Mickey since middle school, but it wasn’t until their junior year of high school that they finally confessed their feelings at the same time and started to date. They are still in a very loving relationship and care very deeply for each other. Minnie’s love for fashion design evolved into a dream to own a boutique store in Mouseton where she can display and sell her own designs. 

She is a huge advocate for bow-centric fashion and believes that she can bring bows back into style. She went to a fashion school outside of Mouseton for a couple of years, but then ended up getting a chance to study abroad in Paris for the rest of her education. Despite showing great skills and taste, Minnie struggled with many of her peers making fun of her designs claiming that bow fashion will never make a return. Thankfully she had the support of her friends and her long distance boyfriend to keep going. She eventually graduated and moved back to Mouseton, sharing an apartment with Clarabelle Cow and Lilly Lamb. She started her own online store called “Minnie’s Bowtique” and hired Lilly Lamb as well as another friend Penny Pooch as employees. Lilly helps with whatever is needed, but later becomes the marketing and social media manager. Penny is temporarily working here as she applies and interviews to get a job in graphic design. Minnie met Daisy Duck online on a forum for small business owners and they’ve been best friends ever since. They often provided each other support for their business and once it was revealed that Daisy’s new boyfriend was Donald, Mickey’s best friend, they started to hang out more as a friend group. The site has been doing decently, gaining meaningful albeit slow growth. But Minnie hopes that once she makes enough profit, she can fully complete her dream and open her own physical store. Can she truly be able to accomplish her dreams as it feels far away from becoming a reality? Would it even matter if the love of her life doesn’t survive his new much more dangerous job? Can she truly get what she wants in life?

Fun Fact: Minnie loves to play softball. She has been a part of a softball team since she was in middle school and even today still plays on the Mouseton Mousers team at the Mouseton Community Center. She is often the pitcher for the teams that she is on with very powerful and tricky throws, though she could still improve on accuracy. Mickey of course tries to make every single game and practice he can, cheering for her on the stands.

Peg-Leg Pete (Percy P. Pete/Percival) - Estimated Age: Mid 40's - Late 40's

Pete grew up in a very large criminal family in a rough part of Mouseton at the edge of town. While Pete had ups and downs with many of his family members, he was close to his mother Maw Pete (Parry) and his sisters Petunia Pete, the mother of Pierino & Pieretto and Petula Pete. But the one person he was the absolute closest to was his cousin Portis Egmont who was practically a brother to him. They bonded due to both being considered the “runts” of their generation and Portis even made him his prosthetic foot. The family Matriarch, Great Grammaw Pete (Patty), owned a settlement of townhouses that have been passed down their family for generations. It was common for members of the Pete family to drop out of high school and join one of the many criminal branches of the family. The family as a whole was never too wealthy, but supported each other through the money they made from their misdeeds. Pete dropped out of high school in his senior year so that he could join the Robbery and Theft branch of the family. He hoped to one day run the branch, but unfortunately his runt status often made that difficult. No matter how many schemes he shared and how many times he tried to prove himself, they either didn’t work or no one would listen to him. Eventually he got fed up and decided to break off from the family to start his own gang with Portis called “Pete’s Gang”.

The two did fine on their own, but decided to hire more members for their gang. They ended up hiring Scuttle and Trudy and together they committed some of the best crimes in all of their careers and formed a sort of family, both figuratively and literally as Pete proposed to and married Trudy after a couple months of working with each other. They even got to work with the Phantom Blot a couple of times just as he was skyrocketing to fame. However, this didn’t last long as Pete decided to take a risky but rewarding job for the Wind Willows Weasel gang. The job ended up failing, and when Pete got arrested he ratted out the weasels to reduce his sentence. But this ended up affecting not just the weasels, but also the rest of Pete's Gang as Scuttle and Trudy also got arrested because of this. Ashamed, he took the reduced sentence. When he got out, he did attempt a prison rescue, but was unable to find where the rest of his team went, leaving him all alone.

This caused Pete to go into another depression as he wandered around Spoonerville, the town next to the prison he was let out of, not knowing what to do. He ended up accidentally stopping a crook from stealing from a poor woman and gained her gratitude. This woman was Peg Percival who decided to take Pete out to lunch as a thank you. When she learned about how lost he was, she decided to take him in as a project. She let him rent a room at her house and got him a job as a used car salesman. Eventually they got married, he took her last name, and had Pete Junior or PJ. Though Pete likes his new family, he still thinks about Trudy and what could have been. He ended up becoming the owner of the dealership he worked at, and when she retired she made Pete the new owner and even let him change the name. Things were going great, until Pete realized that there were quite a few unpaid bills from the previous owner and that the dealership was not doing as well as he thought. It didn’t help that Peg was also pregnant with another child, Pistol. To make matters worse some of the members from the Wind Willows Weasel gang stopped by the dealership to get some getaway cars and instantly recognized him. When they questioned him, Pete quickly came up with the explanation that the dealership is a front for future criminal activity and was hoping to work with them again. He also gave them some free getaway cars, and helped them forge documents for them, in hopes of getting their good graces and to take suspicion off of him ratting them out. It works and he ends up working alongside them and makes quite a bit of money, enough to save the dealership and support his new growing family, without Peg knowing a thing. Scuttle even ended up dropping by from who knows where to help and Pete was introduced to the corrupt lawyer Sylvester Shyster who worked for the weasels and now helps Pete narrowly avoid any legal trouble. Pete even got back in contact with Portis, though he was too busy running his own criminal business to join in. Pete was so successful that he even started to impress his family, when they heard. He decided to open another “dealership” in Mouseton and move his family there so that he could work closer with them and expand his growing criminal empire. He has been in Mouseton for about a year and has been able to make massive amounts of money without the police suspecting a thing. But how can Pete keep this up? And could the new detective provide more trouble than he expected?

Fun Fact: Pete was actually part of his football team at the high school he went to. He initially joined as part of a scheme, but ended up liking it enough to stay on. He even teased the idea of going into professional football. Of course this never ended up happening, as he ended up being part of the reason why the football team lost the playoffs that would have taken them to the state championships. Though it wasn’t entirely his fault as there was a “goofy” cheerleader that got into the way. He actually still uses what he learned from football on some of his robberies.

The Phantom Blot (Full Name: N/A) - Estimated Age: Mid 40's - Late 40's

The Phantom Blot grew up in a very wealthy family. His father was a ruthless top executive at Wright & Thwaites, a company mostly known for being the largest producer of high-quality ink in the world though they also sell other office supplies. His mother was a vain theater actress who had a decent career in supporting roles, but was mostly known for hosting incredible parties for the wealthy to meet and do business. The Phantom Blot was never really close with them as they were more focused on their own goals than him. However, he impressed everyone else around him and quickly gained a reputation as a child prodigy as he won nearly every competition he was in and aced all of his tests. Eventually, he decided to get into acting. He had some assistance from his mother but mostly had to guide the rest of his acting career by himself. At the private school he attended, he practically ran the entire drama department along with the teacher. Being the director, lead actor, props and special effects manager, head of the costuming department, etc. After he graduated he went to Goosliard to study, while still performing whenever he could. He showed so much talent and promise that he was getting multiple offers begging him to star in their shows before he even finished college. The Phantom Blot's future seemed so bright, but also so empty.

One day, an acquaintance asked if the Phantom Blot would help them on a robbery, to pay off a big favor the Blot asked of him. The Phantom Blot, so disillusioned and bored with his life, agreed and they set off to rob a bank. However this heist ended up changing the Phantom Blot’s life as he realized how much he loved the heist and how effectively he was able to avoid the police during a chase. As the Phantom Blot still worked to finish school, he started to be a part of more and more thefts and realized he enjoyed being a thief more than he enjoyed acting. So he abandoned his previous life and started a new life as the “Phantom Blot”. As the Phantom Blot he accomplished some of the most incredible feats in criminal history and raking in billions of dollars. He gained a massive reputation around the world for being an unstoppable criminal genius who has never been caught and has always left the police befuddled in his wake. He even got a request by F.O.W.L to work as a top agent with one of the best salary and benefit packages they have ever offered. But his refusal ended up creating a rift between him and the organization. He continues to go on more impressive heists to prove himself. He prefers to work alone, but will hire others if it is required to complete a heist. One of the first groups he hired was Pete’s Gang and he continued to work with them a couple of times before they broke apart. Though he still works with Portis every once in a while. Except for an odd three to four month break, The Phantom Blot has been a frightening force that no one has been able to stop and most doubt that he even can be. Or at least he was, until a little mouse got into the way. Regardless, the Phantom Blot has achieved fame, power, and riches beyond anyone’s wildest dreams including his own and yet he still hungers for more. Can his greed ever be satisfied? And with a new mouse causing problems for him, is it possible that the Phantom Blot has finally reached his limit?

Day 20: Viney (Finale)

Healer. Beastkeeper. Anarchist.

How many things I can say about a character who had her fair share of 2 episodes with 4 more in the background. Oh boy let's go.

Alright getting this out of the way, and the only time I do this because it's Viney. As my favourite character of the show and 2nd favourite of all time (behind a water witch), I want to headcanon so many things for Viney. She's aroace, because everyone is aroace until proven otherwise :P. My favourite ship to Viney is Luney, in a platonic way, that I would like it even more if I didn't know about Lumity too early. She's an engineer in both biology and chemistry. She opens a veterinarian clinic for mythical pets, while also studies medicine and other methods of healing.

Okay, I gotta admit I like Luney more because of Viney being too awesome and their first interaction were pretty cool. Viney has healing and beastkeeping, two of the most underrated coven of the show. Healing potential looked quite awesome, as she even used a shield made out of the coven sigil. As a diehard fan of Steven Universe, I loved that moment so much.

Beastkeeping may have destroyed the class and got her in detention, but who cares, Puddles is the coolest friend a veterinarian can have. And it is so nice that she chose Healing with Beastkeeping, specifically to heal all the pets she got.

I'm going on a limb and say this. Viney is the perfect successor of Eda, maybe with less rebellious intent than her last generation. The tunnel she used? Eda used it before. The Troublemakers Wall? Eda is the Queen. Viney looks up to Eda, as the pioneer of anarchism in the school. Baby Anarchist Viney is so incredible and I love it.

Viney's outfit is also torn like Eda, in fact her uniform is actually more unique than any other students. Her shirt pin points out, unlike other students, her shirt was torn in a way no one does that. And of course the hook earring. My baby anarchist is so determined to rebel.

Side note: I can take a whole day just talking about her hook earring.

The hate between Viney and Jerbo really is incredibly funny tbh. She just decided to hate him. And when Jerbo joined the other time, she just saw all hell broke loose, gave him that death stare in the eyes. That's just awesome lol.

The First Day is her debut, and also her best episodes (so much injustice for my baby). The idea of using a griffin as an assistance is cool enough, but property damage and multi-track studying got her into trouble. Oh hey, just like Luz heh. One day in and Luz already was in detention with the troublemakers.

Having to live in the shadow for a while, with not many companies on her side, she developed a lot of skepticism. Which is why she was so mad at Luz when she saw Luz's friend coming, thinking Luz is above the troublemakers, or that interaction with Jerbo. But when Luz was in need for help, she and the students that the school deemed as troublemakers have saved the school, and forced Bump to change the law for multi-track studying. Eda might be the pioneer, but Viney and co are the revolutionists.

Her next appearance is in Hunting Palisman. No comments here, I just want to appreciate this moment. Very mystical manticore for a very mystical girl.

Any Sport in a Storm is the episode with her iconic "Now I'm only scarred emotionally". Despite having more screen time, she still doesn't have that much more lines, she was outshined by Hunter and Willow. She's now a member of Emerald Entrails, she got along well with the team, and her powers got stronger. Good for her, good for her.

And of course the group selfie.

Labyrinth Runners is when we see a bit more of her. And Puddles' second battle. Not as successful as the first, but it's precious enough for me.

The last episode she had a line in was For The Future. Again, very brief moments. Although she got a new drip with the scarf. It's a scarf, alright girl. A moment when my kin (Willow) met my favourite (Viney), it's so incredibly precious.

Her finale design is so cool. She got long hair, cool outfit, but the hook earring must stay. And she was helping in erasing the sigils.

Important thoughts from the first episode.

No one here has been noting the most important information. Heh. Guess that's my job. I'll be running through an analysis of the major players thusfar and the most notable events. Thank me later.

Character profile: Agent 42

Seems to have a friendly, if somewhat unpleasant relationship with his roommate ("Aven" -- will investigate further). Appears to have a strange housing situation, as he lives outside of the compound where dormitories were visible. What makes him the exception to the rule? He must be important.

Minister Therefore, "The Scholar" of this world, seems to be Agent 42's boss. Their relationship is somewhat tense, but they appear to have worked together for some time.

The Justice, "The Boatman" of this world, is owed something by 42, and it appears to be a recent arrangement. The watch on 42's wrist doesn't appear to be a normal watch -- it seems to be a 60 second timer. It cannot be removed. This requires further investigation.

42 chases after Agent 53. Agent 53 appears to know that 42 is coming for them, and says they don't want to answer 42's questions. 53 has some knowledge that 42 wants, and it seems 53 isn't allowed to share it. These two must have something in common that is non-discussable. *But what*?

42 does not seem upset by the concept of being taken away by the Traveler. In fact, they seem to have been expecting them. The relationship between them appears to have a sense of rapport. This may reveal more as to 42's personal philosophy, as well as the Traveler's role in this reality.

A hitman and his reality's god of death. Hm. Seems to be a good match, if you ask me.

Fascinating and complex.

A specimen unlike any I've seen before. An enigma. Requires further study.

Character profile: "Teeth"

"Teeth" cannot be their real name.

"Teeth" appears to be a criminal of the highest degree. The fact their house is a museum and that the guard (incompetent, tch) was surprised to see them indicates they are thought to be exiled... or dead. Interesting.

"Teeth" is implied to be guilty of the murder of someone close to them. "Teeth" indicates this is a lie. Only time will tell.

Teeth is wearing many colors. They appear different from the other members of their reality, although only a small sample size has been obtained. Appears to be a cross between a fish and a goat -- there may be relevance to this combination.

Allegiances with members of the "Pantheon" remain unclear.

Character profile: Olive Faerun

Appears to be a member of a large family with a large homestead. All of her family is missing. There may be a reason why they were separate from one another when the storm struck.

Regarding the storm: it appears to be a supernatural cause, as the storm appears and disappears at a quick pace from unnatural locations.

Olive appears to have a good relationship with this "Traveler" character, as they have left out small trinkets for them. Hopefully this will not lead to conflict with 42 and the Traveler's relationship, or else I will be quite upset.

The "Scholar" of this world seems quite displeased by Olive. Heh. Seems like a troublemaker. I like that. Seems this "Scholar" isn't always too keen to share knowledge. That makes at least two Scholar connections. So far.

Character profile: Darling D'Amor

Seems to play amongst the gods almost as one of them. Heh. Almost, but not quite. She seems to have some sort of arrangement to gain more power from her version of the Exalted.

Interesting. What exactly was their Scholar (Donny, I believe) saying when everything fell to shit, exactly? It was something in regards to Darling's "relationship" (heh. what a joke) with Ryker, but there was something else to it. My coverage is spotty that early on, but it bears investigating.

Interesting. Looks like the Traveler's role here is very different than in the other realities. I wonder how that makes Darling's relationship with endings. It has quite the potential to be interesting.

Character profile: Captain Maris Greyhorn

The captain seems somewhat complex. She's stoic, but she's certainly hiding something underneath. Being a captain is no joke. What did she do to get to this position?

seriously, that's just that simple. but you sometimes tried to help her with her work!! but kokomi doesn't need your help although she has a lot of paper work-. however, you don't mind about it. kokomi is very glad that you helped her. and then she realised- you're late.

“ [name] you're late to class! i can handle this on my own!- ” she said. “ it's fine- math class can suck my dick. ” you replied, in an annoyed tone. you still have the urge to skip class anyway.

“ watch your language! and don't try to skip class again! ” she scolded. “ haha, my bad. ms student council~. ” you teased her with that kind of nickname, while smiling at her.

now it has been decided that- kokomi did the work with you. she thanked you after that. sadly you got scolded again- but this time it's the teacher. oh, the pain after you got caught for helping your friend aka the student counselor.

the aftermath is just that Kokomi has to remind you everytime to avoid troubles / the scolding from your teacher (s). she decided to take you out anyway, she makes you feel happy anytime.

✦ When Deuce first meets this student, it's most likely because he was looking like a lost child on the first day of school and panicking because he was going to be last for class, which wouldn't be good considering he wants to be an honor student and honor students are never late for class. The Ignihyde student would probably be watching from a distance and laughing about it before he realizes, that the scene is kind of sad and pitiful. Deuce is asking for help but no one is doing anything because they're rushing off to their own classes. Eventually, he would take pity on Deuce and tell him the fastest route to get to class before just straight-up vanishing while hoping it was the last time he saw Deuce.

✦ That was not the case.

✦ He keeps on seeing Deuce around campus and it's unintentional and most of their run-ins would consist of Deuce being a lost child or him picking a fight with someone. He would see Deuce in the cafeteria or between classes as well but the second time he talks to Deuce is in the library.

✦ Deuce was attempting to study. Attempting. The first-year kept on getting frustrated with whatever it was and it was bothering the Ignihyde student, who was now questioning his life choices because he should've stayed in the dorm to work on his assignment today, but Professor Trein just had to make them do their research assignment on paper with paper resources instead of just using the internet. So he ends up going up to Deuce, asking if he needs help because it's been bothering him for the last hour looking at how pitiful Deuce looked. The first-year agrees and thanks him.

✦ It was here that he realized that Deuce was not only a troublemaker but a dumbass as well. It was middle school math and he was having trouble with it?? Were you not in school??

✦ Deuce answers yes, which kind of stuns him into silence, before he jokingly asks if Deuce was a bad boy or something.

✦ Another yes was given and he just knew that he couldn't leave Deuce alone after that. It wasn't because he felt bad for him—which he did—it was mostly because "how the fuck did this dumbass get in this school? I have to take him under my wing now, fuck."

✦ If you can't tell by now, this entire friendship consists of the reluctant caretaker and the dumbass that looks up to them.

✦ From then on, Deuce just always goes to this Ignihyde student for help if he can't get them from anyone else. Despite being in different grades, Deuce sees him a lot ("No, I'm not taking care of him. He's just... a weirdo, Ortho"). They end up talking a lot about machines and stuff during their study breaks and Deuce is sometimes seen helping him out, especially when he's fixing up a magical wheel. There are little stars in Deuce's eyes when he's explaining how everything works and why he's trying to upgrade the different systems to help riders like Deuce.

✦ He learns that Deuce gets hungry a lot too because whenever he's tutoring Deuce, the first-year's stomach is always growling. He always gets them instant noodles or some type of snack for Deuce and he has so much now that he just has them on hand in his backpack. Now whenever Deuce is hungry, he either seeks out the Ignihyde student or said student just pops up right in front of him and gives him a snack before walking away like nothing happened. Yes, this has disturbed Ace a couple of times because since when was Deuce friends with an upperclassman—from Ignihyde no less—and where did they even come from, they're in Trein's class.

✦ Speaking of Ace, yes, he knows all about the trouble Deuce gets into with him, the Ramshackle Prefect, and Grim. He just tells Deuce he wants no part of it and if the first-year dies, he would drag his soul back to his body and kill him again for leaving him. He also nearly has a heart attack when he learns that Deuce was present for about three overblot attacks.

✦ In addition to the tutoring, the food, and the worrying, he also tells Deuce all the ins and outs of NRC. This includes when it's the best time to head to the cafeteria for the really good food, how to get to his classes faster, which teachers Deuce should avoid, etc,. Basically, just a lot of advice on how NRC works, and yes, he always tells Deuce to try to keep his temper in check because nearly everyone in NRC doesn't and he can't always be there to break up fights.

✦ Overall, the Ignihyde student would always be watching over Deuce and taking care of him. Would he ever admit it? No, but Riddle and Trey thank him anyway when they find out Deuce has been hanging out with him and sees the student as a role model. He would definitely tease Deuce a lot but knows when to stop and does sometimes smack his head whenever he learns Deuce did something stupid. Deuce is very respectful towards him and always tries to make up for what the student does for him, but he never lets Deuce do that. It's just a really fun and wholesome senpai-kouhai friendship with Deuce mostly wanting to be like the Ignihyde student and said student saying, "That is not a good idea, my dude."

Number Correspondences

I'm going to start posting my study of correspondences. I'll list how I relate to the subject first and then I'll list some common correspondences. I'm realizing correspondences are a good base for understanding why and how witchcraft works, while also making spells, potions, rituals, etc. more meaningful for me.

I'm starting with numbers, because I have been making number correspondences since I was a kid. I suspect this may be an aspect of my autism, but I love categorizing things and I used to put numbers into little families. Like literal families with siblings and parents and aunts and cousins. From what I've learned with tarot, some of my assignments were pretty intuitive, too. I'll include some of my childhood interpretations, as well as what I think now.

My interpretation: 0 is God. Or sometimes just the great great great grandfather. 0 was patriarchal in my younger christian years, but now I see it as a force behind everything and nothing. It is a mystery and infinite.

Common: the void, complete nothingness, wholeness, infinity, all or nothing, beginning and end

My interpretation: 1 was also a patriarchal number for me as a child. I always thought of him as a grandpa. I could never decide who his kids were, but he was always a father figure to 2. 1 also signifies either success or being alone to me. I picture the dollar bill that's framed in a restaurant, commemorating the first dollar they ever earned. Or a gold medal with a big number one on it. Or a single tree or person, with nothing around them.

My interpretation: As a kid, 2 changed genders. but they were always happy-go-lucky and partners with 3. 2 was full of positivity, probably because 2's and even numbers were always the easiest multiplication. Now 2 is still a happy number for me. It can mean opposites or sameness, but there's always a partnership. It connects single things together. Like salt and pepper, the sides of our body, yin and yang, symmetry, etc. I also like eating small things in twos, so both sides of my mouth taste something.

My interpretation: 3 has always been feminine to me. Maybe because it looks like a feminine body in several ways? 3 in my childhood was the slightly more spunky partner of 2. 3 kind of made things difficult sometimes, but it was still a great number. Now I think of the common archetypes in stories of the character trio. The Three Amigos, Three Musketeers, Luke, Leia, and Han, Hermione, Harry, and Ron. 3 is just a good round number, that I feel brings more balance than 2.

My interpretation: 4 is the stable one. As a child I had her married to 5. Sometimes 3 was her sister and sometimes her daughter. But when I think of 4, I think of balance and equality. A square, a table, a chair, animals with four legs. 4 is calm and collected and you can depend on 4.

My interpretation: 5 was always a father figure in my mind. He's brothers with 6, married to 4, and 2 and 3 are his kids. He's kind of the middle of the whole family. Everyone is related to him. He's amiable and a fun dad. Now I still think of 5 as a friendly number. 5 is very useful and makes life/math easier. I always picture it as a person wearing a baseball cap too, haha.

My interpretation: 6 was the smarter brother of 5. Sometimes he is married to 9 with 3 as his daughter. 6 is quick-witted, a bit of a puzzle sometimes. I also think of all even numbers as more balanced than odd numbers, for obvious reasons. I guess I occasionally think of it as the devil's number, but that's never really felt right to me.

My interpretation: 7 is a troublemaker. 7 was also androgynous and I could never decide which gender to assign to them (in my limited view of gender binaries as a kid. Now I accept that 7 is fully genderfluid). 7 was sometimes married to 8 and sometimes best friends with 8. Occasionally they would date 9. They are the younger sibling of 6 and 5. 7 has always been very mischievous and also just a difficult number. It likes to play jokes on me, which can be fun sometimes. I also sometimes associate Slurpees with 7, lol.

My interpretation: 8 was 9's sibling and also switched genders. They were always 7 or 9's sidekick, because they're more of a quiet one. I always pictured the 8 as a pair of nerdy glasses, always overshadowed by their sister 9 or friend/partner 7. 8 was good friends with 4. Nowadays I don't feel like 8 is quite as sad as I made them when I was a kid. 8 is more centered and peaceful. I now picture 8 as someone meditating with their legs crossed.

My interpretation: 9 is like the older version of 3. In fact sometimes they were good friends, sometimes mother and daughter, sometimes aunt and niece. 9 was the fun aunt who was always going on adventures. She would sometimes be partners with 6 or 7 and always siblings with 8. She was outgoing, flirtatious, and fun-loving. I still think of 9 this way, but I also have a hard time with them sometimes. I'm not sure what it is, but they remind me of someone who is really happy and confident on the outside, but not that way on the inside.

Common: experience, charming, spiritual creativity, empathy

To come up with common interpretations, I googled "[number] numerology" and scanned for some keywords on various website. Through this process I realized numerology is incredibly complicated and I have a lot to learn about it! I had no idea numbers are sometimes considered equal to a zodiac sign. Definitely don't rely on my common interpretations, because I am not an expert at all.

St. George-yashi’s Dragon Chef

Hey there, stilted dialogue. Happy Halloween! Or at least closely approximate! Sorry we gotta interrupt our MLP comic coverage right when the getting's good. I don't have issues 101 or 102 yet anyway, so I guess November will be for the whole Transformers crossover. So, what're we reviewing today instead, then? Well, what was it, two years ago now? Remember when I reviewed couple Bailey City School Kids books? Let's do that again. I've got a few lined up for the future, but at random, let's review... this one~

#24 Dragons Don't Cook Pizza

I think I mentioned this one back in the previous review, which is pretty much why we're doing it today. Anyways, man, and Kevin McCallister thought the furnace in his basement was scary. I'm not sure the smoke should be venting directly into the building there, Monty Python and the Holy Grail character who is clearly posing for a camera. What's the secret to the best pizza in town? Probably garlic, it's always the garlic. You wanna take care of those kids before you get slapped by a health and safety violation?

So we open the book with the titular School Kids arriving on the most enjoyable of school activities: a field trip. They're visiting a newly-opened pizzeria, which is leagues above the science museums and history exhibits I used to go to. And yet, at the same time, isn't that a bit... pedestrian for a field trip? Like, for a summer camp, okay. I used to attend a day camp, and that's the sort of thing they'd take us to. But for a class trip, where you have to get signed permission slips well in advance and such? Chances are half this class has already visited this pizzeria on the weekend with their parents by now~

Anyway, the pizza place has gone all-out on theming. Ever been to a Medieval Times? Not unlike that. It's described as having pennants, aged gray stone walls, and a drawbridge. I'll be honest, I'd be excited about this as a kid too (and even still a little bit now). Anyways, our old friends return: mouthy troublemaker Eddie, meek Liza, well-studied Howie, and Melody who is also there. Eddie's annoyed because they had to read "like a million" books to earn this field trip, which casts even more doubt on none of them having been there before. Eddie is the relatable one because he hates anything that's remotely educational.

Upon entering Jewel's Pizza Castle, the kids are greeted by the proprietor, who introduces himself as George. He's described as "the oldest, wrinkliest man they'd ever seen", but judging by the cover and interior illustrations, they've never met anyone over 40, I guess. He takes them to a dining room (or "eating room", as the book calls them) named "The Dragon's Lair", which also has a sword mounted above the door. I think that's for attacking, if the yellow arrow doesn't tell you to go left or right. It's notably dingy in here, with long wooden tables. The kids are seated and served, and thankfully the pizza is excellent.

As they're served, a loud rumble eminates from beyond a set of swinging doors, presumably leading to the kitchen but labelled "Dungeon". George gets extremely nervous and excuses himself. Seems his chef is very tempermental, and despite their teacher's requests, George denies them both any recipes or kitchen tours. As the kids exit, they note that the sword above the door has gone missing. Howie, as usual, is the first one to start drawing (or jumping to) conclusions regarding their experience. As they get on the bus, the four sit together so Howie can tell them a story his mother once read to him.

It's actually a loose retelling of "St George and the Dragon". Like I said before, if there's one thing I respect about Bailey School Kids, it's their accuracy to mythology, or at least their interest in the more obscure parts of it. They remove the more overtly Christian aspects from this telling, having George instead hypnotise the dragon with a magic sword. And rather than kill it, he captures it and keeps it under his control. The others remain skeptical, but Howie is pretty convinced that the unseen pizza chef is a dragon, especially when another roar rocks the bus as they drive away.

Next day, Eddie comes to school with his hat decorated to look like a dragon. You gotta respect his dedication to mocking his friends. He's actually more interested in harassing Liza than Howie, however. After some discussion on the properties of dragons, Howie suggests that they love telling riddles. And to prove this, he reveals that all the napkins at the pizzeria had riddles written in rhyming couplets on them. Eddie didn't notice, but Melody and Liza confirm this. They even saved their napkins, because that's something children would do.

"Inside me deep, there is much heat. Captured sadness, lonely madness. My only joy, to cook for girls and boys." Well, Mr Dragon, I have issues with both your rhyme scheme and meter, but we'll ignore that for now. The kids debate over the meaning of this riddle. Eddie theorises that the answer is an oven, but he fails to realise that the cold food of out hot eat the food. And also that ovens aren't lonely or captured. Howie concludes that the only answer can be a dragon, and that these are more than riddles: they're cries for help. I think Howie's the one who's having a cry for help here~

Howie's conclusion is that George is indeed the St. George of the legend, also citing that dragon scales grant eternal life. I feel like this may be straying from the legend somewhat. Regardless, Howie is convinced they need to go save the dragon from its imprisonment. Liza points out that, you know, the dragon was captured for a reason. That reason being a tendancy to eat people, and perhaps setting it loose in Bailey City would be a bad idea. Howie retorts that it's better than imprisonment and enslavement, and Eddie suggests he'd rather be chained to a pizza oven and forced to cook than go to school. Eddie, I have great news about your future employment prospects with that attitude~

The four of them stake out the back of the pizzeria, behind the garbage cans. After a while, Howie just enters in through the back door, which isn't even locked. Eddie's all for letting Howie be arrested for trespassing, but Melody and Liza decide they'd rather Howie not be lunch for a dragon, should one exist. And when they taunt Eddie that he might be afraid, he's all too willing to go in just to prove otherwise. Oh Eddie, your fragile masculinity is so easy to manipulate! They sneak on in, finding the exit leading right to the kitchen/dungeon.

The kitchen's a wreck, with everything from globs of dough to suits of armour littering the place. Further in, though, it gets dark. Dark enough that they can only see two glowing red lights and some smoke billowing out of the space beyond. There's also a loud rumbling throughout. The kids, not exactly in stealth mode, bump right into George, who brushes them aside, saying he needs to attend to his chef's problems. The kids fret to him that the dragon has eaten their friend, and he replies "Who said anything about a dragon?" Um, they did.

Before anything else can happen, Howie appears. George looks relieved and tries to shoo them on their way, but Howie says George has some 'splainin' to do. He marches right back into the kitchen, with George hot on his heels. And when the other three try the door, it's locked. I guess they eventually give up, because we then cut to a week later. Howie turned up the next day at school, and refuses to elaborate on anything that happened in the kitchen. The pizzeria closed for renovations all week, and is only now reopening its doors, so the four kids decide to drop in.

While the place retains its medieval looks, it's considerably spruced up. The aged gray stone is now gleaming white, and a large enclosure with high walls has been constructed around the back, with many "keep out" signs adorning it. The lighting is also less dingy, presumably because it's not filling with smoke anymore. George happily serves the kids, having worked out everything with his chef. Howie reports that he told George it was much too dark in that kitchen dungeon. Sounds more like the Board of Health got on his ass. Anyway, that's what the enclosure out back is for: so his chef can get some sun in private. A loud rumble echoes through the restaurant, though one more pleasant than before. The chef is happy.

Well! That was certainly an unusual story. I learned so much about dragons today, guys: they can be hypnotised by swords, they're the secret to immortality, and apparently they're solar-powered. As usual, one of the delights of the Bailey School Kids books is that they're always kind of ambiguous. Was the pizza chef a dragon? Is George the same one from the legend? The world may never know. And that's the other delight: the use of real mythology, like St. George and the Dragon. You know, however loosely they do it. The whole reason I know about the story of St. George in the first place is because I read it here first as a kid. And that's the kind of thing I really admire in a kids' book~

Next week, we'll get back to our pony adventures, but next Halloween, we'll probably do this again. There were, like, more than 50 of these books, and I don't mind checking them out one by one (subject to availability). I have a couple more on standby, but if you have a particular one you'd like to suggest and an Amazon Marketplace link for it that's less than, like, $10, I'll give it some consideration for a future review. I don't mind if it's a reprint, though I'll probably use the original-style cover in the review (heck, I did it here. This one was one of the 2007 reprints, after its 1997 original release), since that's the ones I grew up with~

-Cronus was met by Yuu and their friends during the Octavinelle arc, at first he found Ace's, Deuce's, Grim's and the others Azul's victims situation funny 'cause he think those who are stupid enough to make deals with Azul just got what they deserve, but when Azul got things too far Cronus became an ally with Yuu to set the record straight with his dorm leader and help the group and the leech twins to fight Azul when he overbloted.

-Kurloz met Yuu and their friends during the Savanaclaw arc, was at first a bit hostile toward then 'cause he didn't like they suspected his dorm to try to sabotage the others dorm to win the school's magical shift tournament, but when it was revealed that Leona was indeed trying to cheat, Kurloz was not happy and helped Yuu and the others to fight overblot Leona.

-Horuss met Yuu and their friends during the Happy Bean day, he helped to design and create the beans guns and participate in the event on team monster.

-Aranea met Yuu and the others during the Halloween event, she was visiting NRC for halloween and to see Cronus, Horuss and Kurloz.

-Despite being a very good student Cronus is also quite a trouble maker who like to mess and flirt with the others students.

-Kurloz and Leona are childhood friends due to Leona's parents often asking for Jael's and Mama Makara's services in magic and potion in the past, Leona see Jael as one of his, even his most, trusted friend but due to his pride he don't like to show it.

-Horuss doesn't fall in the "Ignihyde student" archetype, he is in fact the most social and cheerfull student from the dorm.(Ortho don't count since he isn't a official student)

-Unlike her mother who was a troublemaker when she was a student at her school, Araena is more a model student who was more focus on her studies much to her teachers's relief.

-Cronus is a romantic and love flirting with anyone who's catch is interest boys and girls alike, he flirt often with the others students, he also like play flirting with Cater who is his best buddy from the light music club.

-With his strengh and his powerfull magic, people are surprised Kurloz isn't the dorm leader of Savanaclaw, that because while he can became the leader if he wanted, Kurloz is not interested by the posotion but also prefer letting it to Leona 'cause he think he deserve the position and that it would help him with his self esteem issues.

-Horuss absolutly love horses and by so his favorite period of the day is when he go to the horse ridding club, he is also an excelent horse rider.

-Araena is pasionated by litterature and history, she spend most of her time in the school's library when not in class and her favorite sudject is history.

-Cronus’s number one hobby is music, he love play with his guitar and sing and he is even creating his own music and songs.

-Kurloz is selective mute, he doesn’t feel confortable to speak he only does it when he must like when he is in class and prefer communicate with signs language, plus in situations in which someone really pissed him off he tend to speak in anger which is a sign for said person that he REALLY fucked up this time.

-Horuss is a genius in magic science, due to his level in the subject he is the one who’s called to help when there a science/magic science problem in the school.

-althrough she’s most of the time a nice and pleasant person, push Aranea’s buttons too and you will see she’s indeed her mother’s daughter.

-Cronus’s shenanigans are in reality a way for him to hide he hate himself, due to being from an unknow specie in TW, himself knowing nothingabout what he is and by so being very diferent give to Cronus a deep disgust of himself and give him a unhealty obsession to become more “fae like” to the point of having dangerous temptations like mutilating his ears fins to shape them like fae ears. This self hate will get bad to the point Cronus will end up overbloting.(Headcanons part about it in the future! ;) )

-Kurloz love spicy food, the more spicy the dish is, the more he love it.

-Horuss is super strong like his father.

-Unlike what many people believe Araena don’t plan on succeding to her mother as the next captain of the Sea Heart, in fact her dream is to become a writer and to ope her own library.

-Cronus’s relationship with his father is not bad, Oberon is very strict with him and is exasperated he don’t take his studies more seriously but that it.

-Kurloz had a very good relationship with his father, Jael is a good father who deeply love his two sons.

-Horuss and his dad have a good relationship, despite not showing his emotions very much, Pholos love and care about his sons.

-Aranea’s relationship with her mother is... complicated! She lover her mother and Topaz lover her daughter but being mostly see as “captain Topaz’s daughter” and being expected to become a pirate just like her mother make Aranea very uncomfortable, which bring some complications in her relationship with her mother.
