i do think a lot of like. faux progressive reactionary poc (and also like white people with crazy white guilt) in the imperial core do like this sorta, noble savage adjacent thing where they act like whatever "degenerate" thing they dislike is something only white people like. "anime icon, of course you are white" "only white people are into cnc" or whatever right, like it's just a plain reactionary, two seconds from talking about how blank and blank is degenerate and ruining society, but fused with a like. veneer of it being an attempt at like progressive politics
