ai is just so fucking bleak man it makes me want to end it all...
taking everything joyful about life... everything i ever wanted or loved or hoped for... and not just that, everything else too... no job is safe... the only way i can go on is to pretend it doesnt exist and just keep creating and trying as we always have done it haha but meanwhile it just keeps getting worse and im filled with sickening dread... the only hope I have is that people will continue to stick together and protect each other even as ai tries to destroy and take everything from us and our identity and our joy sorry to sound poetic and pretentious but i just need to get the vent out. its bleak man.

Tonight I bring you a very Soft audio of Paul singing Happy Birthday to (based on context I'm assuming) one of these kids at the Bread & Roses Music Festival Concert, October 3rd, 1981. The crowd joins in pretty quickly so we unfortunately don't have a full "Paul Sings Happy Birthday audio" (as far as I know??) because that would be really cool. A super wholesome listen nonetheless!
The Youtube channel that has the remainder of this performance uploaded describes it as a setlist of 11 songs yet they had only uploaded 10. So I did some digging and yeah, turns out this mysterious 11th song he performed was "Happy Birthday" and I'm not even mad about it.

hello! i think i’ve sent this ask before so pls ignore it if you don’t have the answer: i’ve seen people say luke’s “kiss on my hand after dark” jacket is photoshopped, which i find so hard to believe and seen no proof of the jacket without the quote, as someone who was there during that time era and our trusty historian do you have any info on this? thank you!
Hi! Apologies for not answering this before (whether it be due to Tumblr error or my own oversight 🫠) but I do have an answer for you!
I personally had never heard the photoshop claim but it appears to be false. The photo agency called Alamy published a number of pictures from that day and on their site, there are multiple photos of the jacket with the quote intact, all branded with the agency's watermark, indicating they are the original photos.
#one even has the watermark Over the jacket lol#i also found the jacket on a marketplace site called Grailed and it lists it as authenticated - so it is indeed a real jacket that exists#at point i had heard rumors about the that's cool baby jacket as well - also debunked in case anyone was wondering 😎#apologies again for the delayed response!#tumblr is garb sometimes and asks do get eaten on occasion#and i will also admit there have been various points recently where i have just been bad at asks 😭#I'm trying to be better tho! 💙💙#ask#anon#i don't remember what my historian tag was bc it's been a while but yes
