What can I say, the movie was an enjoyable watch and Anthony Mackie acted his butt off. The action scenes were some of the best I've seen in the mcu, and Sam Wilson Cap did some unbelievable feats with the shield.

Hopefully they keep up the momentum with thunderbolts and fantastic 4.

Okay but why is no one talking about the Wonka movie?!

Four neurodivergent enslaved mfs, an orphan girl that has been abused, and an autistic chocolate loving mess of a man joined toghether to make chocolate and faced police brutality, broke a giraffe out of the zoo, defeated the chocolate mafia, defeated a cult that helped said mafia and followed a religion based on chocolate, got sent multiple death threats over just making chocolate, and had to use sewers to travel the city just to not get beaten by police officers. And they did all of that while being stuck basically being slaves of a very nasty old woman who charged them money for even breathing in her general direction. And I haven't even talked about how absolutely fruity the villains are.

Also did I mention it's a musical?

10/10 movie it's really fun

i’m having some thinky thoughts about the canon events and how they work, specifically in Miles’s case.

Miguel mentioned that canon events MUST occur or the realm will unravel and such because those are the rules and that’s how it is but isn’t Miles already breaking the rules by simply EXISTING as Spider-Man? I mean Miguel L I T E R A L L Y says just that very thing (about him being an anomaly) directly to Miles.

The spider that bit him wasn’t from

his world in the first place it was from Earth 42 (which is why he got sent to Earth 42 in the Go Home Machine) and he was never actually supposed to be spider-man like at all, so Miles literally even being like 🧍🏿 is breaking the rules so who’s to say that canon events don’t even apply to him anymore. I mean he already did loose his uncle so there’s one right there anyway.

OMG they remade The Color Purple into a MUSICAL 😱😤 Did they actually read the book? “A new interpretation” pfft The original did such an amazing job to showcase both the highs and lows, the struggles of racism, the demeaning view of women at the time, the strengths that allowed the African Americans to endure… the angst! But also the beauty in people’s strengths. Can they stop remaking classics that got it right the first time??!!

I just watched the Miraculous movie and damn. They definitely learned a thing or two over the years because this movie was just perfecto.

The pacing was undeniably smooth, and it’s such a good contrast from the series that dragged the whole Ladybug/Chat Noir romance. You can actually tell they loved each other by seeing how they developed and became more confident in themselves because they met each other.

Adrien/Chat Noir is my favorite character in the whole franchise, and they didn’t lack when they showed how Chat Noir is Adrien’s escape from his reality.

The Agreste Lore was the only good thing that came from the series in my opinion, but oh my god the movie made it even better!!! I ACTUALLY CRIED WHEN GABRIEL REALIZED HE WAS FIGHTING HIS ONLY SON AND ONLY FAMILY ALL ALONG!!! AND ITS HARD TO GET ME TO CRY ABOUT MEDIA!!!

That one scene where Bug and Chat were playfully fighting was so cute… I actually liked Bug in the movie because she actually sees Chat as a PARTNER, not a SIDEKICK.

I also really like how the movie is much darker (not that it’s super dark but) than the show… Like dude the mime villain was literally smoking, and some dude said “Hell” and I was like, OH MY GOD I NEVER THOUGHT I’D HEAR HELL IN MIRACULOUS!

My only iffy issue I have is the animation when the lighting doesn’t always match up with the scene, but that’s fine it isn’t too bad

I was watching “Devil’s Advocate” and I swear Al Pacino scared the hell out of me. I really think the devil would look & act just like John Milton. John Milton was seductive, charming, handsome, & intelligent. I literally can see myself sleeping with John Milton & falling in love w/ his ass. Al Pacino deserved an Oscar I swear he really convinced me he was Kevin Lomax’s father/Satan. The way Kevin’s mother looked at Milton on the elevator made me scared of Milton from there on out. Like “Devil’s Advocate” had me hooked I forgot how good it was. Keanu Reeves really went toe to toe with Al Pacino and he stood his ground 👏🏾👏🏾. I really believe John Milton is the devil.
