Listen, if and when we get a Luigi's Mansion Movie I don't want to hear a single pop song. I can grit my teeth and bear it in The Mario Bros. Movie, but the soundtrack for Luigi's Mansion had better be filled with so much creepy piano and dissonant chords and tremolo played on so many strings in such a minor key that Danny Elfman would be like "tone it down a little."

late night thinking about I saw the tv glow (listening to the soundtrack) and something alex said after we finished it and had started to recover speech functions is that, like the passenger, this is a movie where u simultaneously want to watch it 10 more times and also never ever watch it again and like. Something I love about S1 Ep 19 Terminal (aside from like, All Of It), is that it gives you just like, a hint of how Tron’s Repurposing might’ve been handled if we had gotten season 2+. Like, right here

The repurposing code gets so close to entering but we never see it actually go into him. This was so purposeful I’m CERTAIN that it was going to be a plot point in later seasons. They throw you off in the moment with “It’s still me, I’m okay” (heart-wrenching, I’m gonna punch a wall), only to hit you with a season(s)-long b-plot of Tron fighting against the repurposing code (and ultimately losing) (because this man can NOT catch a break apparently).
