I think where Kuma sent the straw hats to after Sabaody is very interesting because they all somehow ended up exactly where they should be.

Nami went somewhere she can learn more about weather patterns, which wouldn't only help her navigating skills but also her fighting skills. Franky went to an island of geniuses where he can study shipbuilding and engineering in general more. Usopp went to a dangerous island where he'd have to survive on his own, somewhere that would help his coward tendancies. Zoro literally ended up with the world's strongest swordsmen so he can train, and so on.

Then, we get to Sanji... who ended up on an island full of gay men, trans women and drag queens. Why? Because that's exactly what he needed. To find himself. To see he's not alone.
