my favorite thing about the "justice does not approve of my obsession with you" line is that you just KNOW varric made that up. like.

1: he's telling cassandra, at knifepoint, about a private moment between hawke and anders that unless he was hiding under the bed he most definitely was not there for 2: justice is canonly kind of obsessed with the concept of love. he is in love with the idea of romance. he literally in awakening tells you how fascinating he finds it and how he kinda of wants to experience it for himself. he asks you to help him talk to aura bc he was entranced by kristoff's memories of their relationship.

world-renowned romance author varric tethras found his target audience (or rather, she found him) and absolutely rolled with it.

Take It

"Lando," Oscar sighs, unable to look up. "Enough, that's –"

He pulls off, head rushing as he finally takes a full, gasping breath. "You're not done yet."

"But I –"

Lando reaches for the plug, tugging harshly; Oscar's body don't want to let it up, hole clenching subconsciously, sucking it back in as he groans weakly. Wavering.

"I wanna keep going." Lando reiterates, watching Oscar's arms tremble. "Tell me you wanna keep going."

"Gimme five –"

"Nope," He tugs harder, forcing Oscar's body to submit to whatever he wants. "Tell me now, Osc."

Finally, Oscar lifts his head again to look at him – eyes bright but empty, face shining with exertion, heat-exhaustion. His hair flops over his forehead, sticks to the sweat above his brow like the picture of debauchery.

His lips are red, swollen where he's bitten at them to stay quiet.

"One more?" He breathes, shaky on the exhale.

"Maybe." Lando shrugs, working the plug out without looking – like it doesn't matter. Like he doesn't want to see Oscar gape around where it used to be. Like he wants Oscar to think he doesn’t care either way, if he gets to fuck him for playing along. "If you're good."

there are a Million ways to be a system. don't limit yourself or Restrict your idea of them too harshly. speak to multiple systems if you want better references for depicting them (or just to know how they work) because every system is different and unique
