In Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 2x12, Sif is sent to Earth because a Kree is there.
This is after Thor: The Dark World.
Sif was sent to Earth by Odin.
Loki was posing as Odin.
Loki worked with Thanos under duress to get the Tesseract and invade Earth.
Thanos also worked with Ronan the Accuser.
Ronan was a Kree.
There's a possibility Loki met Ronan.
Even if he didn't, Sif was very against the Kree because of Asgardian education. Loki would have recieved that same education, if not better.
Asgardian education focused on the Kree, since Sif is fluent in their language.
Which means Loki would've learned about Kree culture, beliefs, government, history, and wars.
Basically all evidence we have from the MCU in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain Marvel is that the Kree are, in general, evil. In GotG, the Kree just finished a long war with the Nova Emperor. Ronan, though a radical, shows that the Kree saw everyone underneath them. Ronan wanted to destroy every other culture, most Kree are okay with the subjugation of the non-Kree. In Captain Marvel, the Kree are destroying the Skrulls, they are after the Tesseract, they kidnap a human and experimented on and brainwashed her, and tried to utterly destroy Earth. In AoS, the Kree went to Earth and experimented on dozens of humans to make living weapons for the Kree Army, as well as many things in season 5 that I just started so I don't know everything yet just that they took over the rest of humanity and have slaves (including Jemma) (please no spoilers). So, those with power were evil. Everyone else has only ever grown up in the Kree culture so they believe everything. And those like Mar-Vel and Carol who disagree, the Kree attempt to kill.
Loki would have known all of this.
Loki sent Sif, one of Asgard's best warriors, to protect the planet he tried to conquer under duress from a single Kree because he knows how much of a threat the Kree are. While Sif told Coulson in season 1 that the Kree have never been to Earth, due to his experience outside of Asgard with Thanos and possibly meeting Ronan or other Kree, Loki may have learned of the Krees' involvement with the Inhumans and Captain Marvel, so he could've known Earth has already been a target of the Krees' so if a Kree comes to Earth, Earth is in serious danger. So despite everything that happened to him on Earth, Loki protected Earth from a race of aliens that are a threat to everyone. He could've stayed out of it, but he didn't. He protected Earth by sending Sif because Odin would never go himself and he had to pose as Odin.
But if S.H.I.E.L.D. hadn't been able to help Sif and she had stayed without her memory, I would not be surprised if Loki came himself to stop the Kree.
Also, the Kree who Sif came to stop was trying to stop Inhumans. Inhumans are seen as different from the rest of humanity (which ain't wrong but they're mainly human), just as Jotuns are looked down upon, as Loki is. I bet Loki would've supported Inhumans and not straight up try to kill Skye like Sif did.
As a side note, Sif was also sent to stop Lorelei, an Asgardian sorceress that can mind control males and was imprisoned on Asgard. She escaped and went to Earth. Sif was sent by "Odin" to recapture her.
As a sorcerer, Loki would understand how dangerous Lorelei is, so he made it a priority. He sent Sif. Yes, Sif is female so she wouldn't be affected, but I'd argue that since Thor is gone she is now Asgard's best warrior. So not only did Loki send a female warrior, he sent Asgard's best warrior.
For a guy that tried to take over he really does try to protect the planet from cosmic forces.
And since I firmly believe Loki was under duress or mind controlled or somewhere between in Avengers, I think this is more evidence despite him never being in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the only time I can think of him being mentioned he's not even mentioned by name (Coulson says he was stabbed by a pale Mussolini or something like that before we know what Project T.A.H.I.T.I. is), Loki is very much protecting the planet.
He's guilty over what he did for Thanos.
He's trying to make it right the best he can.
And that's protecting the Tesseract on Asgard, giving the Aether to the Collector to keep it safe, and protecting the planet that suffered the most because of him.
Gosh, I love Loki.
