the Thing about Swain is that he’s not really that good of a leader, is just that Noxus political climate has been a living hell for centuries and he happens to be the best of the worst because he uhh--has the tiniest itty bity most minuscule bit of class conciousness (he’s a rich man AND an only child Dont Expect More) and thinks slavery and nepotism are you know,Not Great.In the Rell Q&A it is stated two times in a row that he avoids handling Masive problems Noxus has as an empire and a society in general because he will ‘’deal with that later.’’ , as he prioritizes issues that dont really fucking matter that much compared to-checks notes-  cultist running around freely,children getting exploited,Mordekaiser’s inevitable return, those same children causing havoc all across the region etc etc.
