Barba accidentally gets really high when someone brings treats for the office that are laced with pot, and he has a bad trip. Sonny gets to be designated babysitter, and when he sees how scared Barba is he realizes the only thing to do is give in to ridiculous impulse and help him build a blanket fort with his stupidly expensive furniture, and hold him while he comes down from the drugs. Barba is mortified when he wakes up and they’re tangled together under the blankets, and he remembers what a mess he was the other day, but Carisi is incredibly sweet and makes him feel better for it.

barisi goes to a baseball game, maybe they get kiss-cammed. It’s basic but I think it’s cute and could also be funny.

Sonny joins a dating app and he’s nervous because he’s never been with another man before. But his crush on Barba made him realize he likes men, so he wants to try dating men since he thinks Barba isn’t interested. Someone on the squad (you can make an OC or have it be an established character) sees him on the app and thinks it would be really funny to make a fake profile and make him think he’s matched with Barba just so that they can embarrass him about it later since they know about his pretty obvious crush on the guy. Carisi is really vulnerable and excited to match with him, but it turns out the person uses it to not only out him as lgbt but also spreads the chats around, which have some pretty private, vulnerable truths in there that Carisi wasn’t going to make public. The person thinks everyone else will find it funny, but Sonny is absolutely gutted and humiliated, and the squad is immediately furious and upset on his behalf. Especially Barba, who witnesses the ‘reveal’ and is piiiissssed because he really does like Sonny and he knows it’s just going to undermine the detectives confidence. He decides to go after him, try and comfort him, and see if there is a relationship to be salvaged between them or if Sonny has been scared off from even trying. I guess basically someone using Sonny’s crush to trick and humiliate him, the squad being ultra protective, and Barba being put in the uncomfortable situation where he not only has to witness it but also has to go out of his comfort zone to try and be there for the hurt detective and maybe show some vulnerability of his own. (Tried sending this one to Barisistill but the ask was getting swallowed/stuck in a loading screen after hitting send (u can tag them if u want to but I’ll leave it open to anyone) so I’m sending it here instead if anyone wants to take it and write my dream fic for me)

Hi hi! Question for the anon who sent the first prompt ( I’m a sucker for Fin friendship with anyone,) is there an implied/hinted feelings of romance to Barba on Carisi’s end? And are you okay with implied Munch/Fin marriage?

I think in general for this page I would say that Prompts are able to be tweaked however you would like to (especially since so many people prompt anonymously so it’s hard to reach out to them and ask things directly) so feel free to do whatever you want in order to make the prompt(s) work for you. Mainly the goal is to keep people engaged and share ideas, so part of the fun is seeing how people decide to play with the prompts. Basically, you can stick to whatever parts of the prompt interest you and can add/subtract things that you want to write. But if you want to try and stick to their original prompt as close as possible that is totally fine as well, and if they respond about your question I will make sure to tag you and let you know what they said. 😄

Angsty Omegaverse/M-Preg fic

Holiday themed prompt for you!

Carisi has just lost his dad. He wants to make his dad’s Thanksgiving recipe but he can’t get it right and it’s the first major holiday he’s had without him and everything is falling apart. He also feels sad that he never got to introduce Barba to his dad as a boyfriend and he never got to come out to him. Sonny feels like His dad died without ever knowing such a huge part of him and it hurts, and not being able to get this recipe right is just the icing on a shitty cake. Carisi just really really misses his dad and wishes he was here so he could tell him all the things he never got to say. He has an emotional breakdown about all of these things and maybe Rafael gets to make him feel better about it all?

And what if I cried? What then?!

Maybe one where Carisi ends up being beaten up by a homophobe at a gay bar. He isn’t out to anyone, so this puts him to entire squad when they show up to take the case and discover he’s the one that got hurt. Sonny is hurt and upset. He feels humiliated, and Raf steps in to talk to him and provide comfort.

How bout a prompt where Sonny keeps getting dismissed by a new squad member or something and he gets upset because he has dyslexia and the new person is using it to try and make Sonny feel stupid. Sonny ends up breaking down and going to raf, or maybe Rafael hears the nasty comments and stands up for him :(

Personal HC that Barba does. It know how to drive, and does not want to learn. Sonny tried to teach him but it was too difficult. Maybe Barba decides to learn how to drive to surprise Sonny and has to take driving lessons from Fin to try and learn how to do it in secret. Mostly I think it would be really fucking funny to watch Fin try to teach Barba anything, but mostly driving because they’d be trapped in an enclosed space and definitely stressing each other out the whole time lmfao

Also new to prompting but what if Rafael struggles to be vulnerable in front of other people, but wants Sonny to know his feelings, so he writes him love letters throughout their relationship. Someone finds the letters and makes them public, which raf and Sonny both feel upset about. The letters were supposed to be private between just the 2 of them. Having them public feels violating.

Hey, I'm new to giving prompts but this is in my brain rn anyway so here you go

Basically if the latest ep (cornered) happened in Carisi's first year at svu, maybe around Undercover Mother, while he still isn't really feeling part of the team and they take him for granted. Maybe he gets taken hostage while grabbing coffee for Barba. Lots of carisi whump, possibly he is assaulted (no MCD or dismemberment), and very worried Barba. Barba looks after him afterwards pls and thankyou

Sonny isn’t out to anyone except Fin. So, when he gets pretty badly beat up by some homophobic assholes in what he thought was a gay-friendly bar, he goes to Fins apartment in the middle of the night instead of the hospital for help. Fin does what he can to help him because Sonny doesn’t want it reported since that will put him, but when Fin realizes he’s more wounded than he lets on he drives Sonny to the hospital anyways and stays with him while they treat him. If u wanna let Sonny get teary I would go feral (in a good way)
