Starless Lovers {9}
Summary: They fell from the sky. We roamed the earth. We were always meant to clash.
Warnings: The 100 Themes, Angst, Death, Blood, Unrequited Feelings, Slow Burn, Possibly more to come
Pairings: Lexa x Sister!Reader, Bellamy Blake x Fem!Reader (eventual)
War has always been brewing. With twelve clans, each with different ideals, it was always going to happen. But tensions rise when they come, the people from the sky. We watched from a distance, learning. But then they attacked, and if there's one thing all the clans can agree on,
Blood must have blood.

The trig translator I was using no longer works, so I managed to find a new one but there’s a chance some words are still incorrect or even untranslated but I tried my best.

“What if we’re wrong and cutting the power doesn’t disengage the locks?”
Lexa was laying down, her arms crossed over her chest as she responded to Clarke.
“Your people said it will.”
She opened her eyes, glancing over at where Clarke stood.
“You should rest, Clarke.”
“We could blow the doors manually.”
Lexa huffed slightly as she stood, making her way towards Clarke.
“Plans don’t last very long in battle. Tiring yourself with questions already asked and answered is a waste of energy.”
Clarke turned, looking at Lexa.
“People died for this, Lexa. It has to work.”
“You’re doing what I did when I first took command.”
Lexa turned, walking towards the table with the water, pouring her a cup.
“We can’t move forward and it’s giving you too much time to think. Once Bellamy shuts down the acid fog and the battle begins, everything will be clear.”
“What if he can’t? What if it was too dangerous and I sent him in there anyway?”
“You care about him.”
Clarke turned, clenching her jaw as she looked at Lexa.
“I care about all of them.”
“But you worry about him more.”
“I couldn’t have kept us alive all this time without him. We need him. And now I might be the one who gets him killed.”
Lexa walked forward, stopping in front of Clarke.
“That’s what it means to be a leader, Clarke. The truth is, we must look into the eyes of our warriors and say, ‘go die for me’.”
“If only it were that easy.”
Clarke turned back towards the table with the plans, huffing.
“Can we please just get back to the plan?”
“No.”
Clarke clenched her jaw, turning back towards Lexa.
“You could be a leader your people look to. Pour their hopes and dreams into. Someone they would fight and die for.”
“I never asked for that. I’m just trying to keep us alive.”
“You were born for this, Clarke. Same as me.”

Bellamy held his card over the scanner, huffing when it didn’t work.
“Bellamy. Come in.”
“Yeah, I’m a little busy here Raven.”
Bellamy looked around, seeing another door that led to the emergency stairs, making his way to the door.
“You missed check in. Did you find the source of the acid fog yet?”
“I’m making my way there now. It’s taking longer than I thought.”
“I don’t know enough to crack it on this end. You gotta give me something.”
“I’m working on it.”
He tried his card again, slightly making a face when it flashed red.
“Something’s wrong.”
“What?”
“My key card isn’t working.”
“That’s not good.”
“I need to find another way in. I’ll call you back.”
“Stay right there.”
Bellamy turned, seeing two guards, their guns pointed at him.
“Hands in the air.”
Bellamy turned his head, taking a deep breath before he turned, running up the stairs.
“In pursuit of the target. It’s not Lovejoy. Repeat, it’s not Lovejoy.”
Bellamy’s hat fell as he ran up the second set of stairs, the alarms blaring as he ran down the platform. Cutting a corner he ran down the stairs, jumping a few at a time. Once he was at the bottom he stopped, looking up.
“Checking in. Go back down to the base level.”
One of the guards aimed his gun as he walked down the steps, Bellamy turning and running.
“You’re surrounded. There’s no way out!”
Bellamy ran down the hall, turning at a corner, looking around as he took a deep breath.
“Garza, do you have eyes on him?”
Bellamy grabbed the hand holding the gun as the guard walked by him, shoving it down as he punched the guard in the face. He punched him again as he dodged the guards attempt at hitting him, causing the guard to fall back, landing on the steps. Bellamy punched him again, knocking him out.
“Garza, what is your status?”
Bellamy checked the guards pockets, trying to find his key card.
“Garza do you copy?”
Once he found the key card he turned, grabbing the gun from the ground as he made his way to the door, scanning the card. He breathed a sigh of relief as it lit green, shoving the door open.

Groaning, you slowly started to come to. The first thing you noticed as you came to was that you were laying down, your arms and legs weighed down with something, causing you to be unable to move. You turned your head to the side, making a face. You were in a room, but you didn’t recognize where you were. Medical supplies lined one side of the wall, various tools lining the other wall. You turned when the door opened, watching as two men walked in.
“Ah good, you’re awake.”
One of the men walked towards the medical supplies while the other walked towards you, stopping next to you and grinning down at you.
“Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Cage Wallace.”
He reached out, running his hand down the side of your face. You turned, opening your mouth and biting his hand. He jerked his hand back, lifting his other hand and slapping you. Your head slammed to the side upon impact, Cage slightly making a face as he shook his head, once again grabbing your face.
“It’s okay, it’s okay. I know exactly who you are. Riheda, the dark commander. Interesting name.”
He glanced over at the man, letting your face go, nodding at him before he looked back down at you.
“The doctor has found something interesting within your blood. Tell me why that is.”
You said nothing, keeping your glare on him.
“Answer me!”
He huffed, shaking his head as he lightly chuckled.
“You think your people are coming for you but they’re not. We know about your army.”
He tilted his head to the side, huffing slightly.
“Or rather, what’s left of it. You see, we bombed your little Tondc. Dropped a missile right on top of them. They’re dead. Every last one of them.”
You clenched your jaw as you fought against your restraints, causing Cage to laugh as he looked over at the doctor.
“Do what you must. I have some things to handle.”
The doctor nodded as he came into your line of sight, glancing down at you.
“We’ll be just fine here.”

Indra made her way to the Commander’s tent, clenching her jaw, her mind clouded with worry as she opened the flap.
“Heda.”
She bowed her head, cutting a glare at Clarke when she saw her in the tent as well.
“Ai don news.” (I have news)
“I can-”
“Stay.”
Indra tightened her grip on her sword, huffing slightly as Clarke looked over at Lexa.
“I want you to stay, so stay.”
Lexa turned towards Indra, nodding.
“Whatever you have to say, you can say in front of Clarke.”
“We’ve looked everywhere, Heda, but there is no sign of Riheda.”
“Esmeray is missing? I thought-”
Lexa sighed, glancing at Clarke.
“I lied, earlier. Esmeray wasn’t avoiding the clan leaders in the woods. She never made it to Tondc.”
Clarke turned towards Indra, shaking her head, her mind racing.
“Esmeray left before you did. You didn’t see anything out of the ordinary?”
Indra looked over at Clarke, glaring at her.
“Did you? We took the same path, Clarke. We saw nothing.”
Clarke looked over at Lexa, nodding slightly.
“I’ll radio Raven, have her let Bellamy know to be on the lookout in case it was the mountain men who took her.”
Indra scoffed, shaking her head.
“Who else would it be?”
Lexa shot Indra a look before she turned, nodding at Clarke.
“Thank you.”
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
“Come in, Raven. I made it. I hope you have a plan.”
“Still working on it. Give us something to go on. What do you see?”
Bellamy looked around, slightly shaking his head as he made his way downn the steps.
“A huge steel vat. Looks like a submarine. Some other tanks with chemical formulas and warning labels. Bunch of pipes running into the wall. Monitor.”
“Oo, go to the monitor.”
Bellamy huffed slightly, walking towards the monitor.“Hello to you, too.”
“Don’t mind Wick. He’s not really helping.”
“Hey Bellamy. How’s my boy Monty doing?”
“Fine. but I don’t know for how long.”
“Great. Pleasantries over. Listen, if that monitor is a control panel, we can use it to kill this thing. Look for a pH scale.”
“Right. It has a scale, but the rest… uh, look can I just blow this thing?”
“No.”
“No, they’ll know their defenses are down. They’ll send a tech to fix it or reroute it or pull out some other weapon we don’t even know about.”
“Plus, you’d probably melt your face off.”
“Look, you know I like a good explosion, but we gotta think our way through this one. We can do this. Here we go.”
“Okay, uh level indicator.”
“Nope.”
“Do you see an actuator anywhere?”
Bellamy made a face, throwing his hand up.
“I have no idea what that is.”
“Come on, what else.”
“Internal pressure sensor.”
“No.”
“Uh, setpoint and alarm.”
“Let’s avoid that one.”
“Maintenance and cleaning.”
“Bellamy, go to that subdirectory. See if there’s anything there that says passivation.”
Bellamy nodded slightly, starting to filter through the monitor.
“Okay, I’m on it. Got it. Say us, aqueous sodium hydroxide bath.”
“That’s a base. That’ll neutralize the acid. Select that.”
“It’s doing something.”
“You should be able to hear the pump.”
“I can hear them. Needle’s moving. pH is rising.”
“It’s working.”
“Passivation successful.”
Bellamy grinned as the pumps cut off.
“Alright. Send a flare.”
“Roger that.”
Bellamy turned to leave when he saw something, causing him to make a face as he leaned forward, wiping the smudge off, seeing a pH scale. He turned back towards the monitor, looking between the two before he walked towards the monitor, seeing the pH scale was still the same as before.
“Raven, we’ve got a problem.”
He made a face when she didn’t respond, shaking his head.
“Dammit, where are you? I don’t think the acid fog is down. Get word to Clarke. We have to stop the army. Raven!”
Bellamy watched as the pH scale was reset.
“No.”
He looked up when the alarms started to go off, hearing a banging on the doors.
“Oh, no, no, no.”
He looked around, seeing the oxygen tank. He glanced down at the acetylene torch in his hand when they managed to kick the door open, causing Bellamy to turn and run.
“Go! Go! Move in, move in!”
“He’s armed, don’t be a hero.”
“Come on out, hands up!”
Bellamy took a few deep breaths before he ran, the men shooting at him as he dived into the vents.
“Cease fire! Don’t hit the tanks!”
Bellamy crawled as far as he could before he stopped, turning back towards the entrance, shooting both guns until he was out.
“He’s out. I’m going in.”
“Got it. I’ll check the tanks.”
Bellamy tossed the guns to the side as he turned, crawling away as fast as he could. When the tanks blew the vent shook, causing him to lose his balance before he started to crawl faster, the force of the flames pushing him out of the vent. He landed with a harsh ‘thud’ the flames shooting out as he ducked, covering his head. When the flames disappeared he turned onto his back, coughing as he laughed.
🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘
Your hair was matted with sweat and blood, the doctor having hit you after you tried to bite him. After that, he’d tied a cloth around your mouth, forcing you to open your mouth so he could place the waded part of it in your mouth to keep you from trying to bite him or from speaking, which you hadn’t done the entire time you’d been awake. You were tired, and everything hurt, but you refused to fall asleep, forcing yourself to stay awake even if everything was screaming at you to stop and let go. Your eyes began fluttering when the door slammed open, causing you to jump slightly as you opened your eyes, seeing a blurry figure rushing towards you. Slowly, the blurry figure came into focus, causing you to glare weakly as Cage grabbed your face, squeezing harshly.
“Where is he? Where is the intruder?”
He yanked you forward when you didn’t answer, screaming in your face.
“Where is he?!”
“Sir, please! Do not move her too much, or you’ll interfere with my studies! She must remain still!”
Cage turned his head, glaring at the doctor before he scoffed, letting you go, causing you to fall back onto the table with a groan. Cage leaned back, standing to his full height as he took a deep breath, looking down at you.
“Where is he?”
You said nothing, causing Cage to turn and walk towards the guard that came in with him. You couldn’t see what he was doing, but he walked back towards you, placing the cold metal of the gun at your forehead, pushing it so it dug into your skin.
“Where. Is. He?”
“Sir, please! If you kill her, she’ll be of no use to us! Her blood is the key! We no longer need the kids! Her blood will lead us all to the ground again!”
Cage glared down at you, clenching his jaw before he stepped back, his chest heaving as he looked over at the doctor.
“Prepare her for transport. This location has been compromised.”
Cage turned towards the guard, handing him back his gun.
“Send a group to help move the doctor and the grounder. The rest of you will find those kids, and you will kill them.”
“Yes sir.”
Cage looked back at you as the doctor fluttered around you, grinning slightly.
“We can still win the war.”

It's Us Or Them
Bellamy leans against the wall, staring at Clarke, who is drawing something with the kit that Dante gave her. She hasn’t noticed him staring, even though everyone else has. Miller walks up.
“Hey, what are you two being so uptight about?”
“You don’t think this is weird?” Bellamy asks, pulling his eyes away from Clarke.
“No, I think you and Clarke are being paranoid.”
Bellamy hums, turning back to Clarke.
“Maybe you’re right, or maybe not. I’ve been through enough to be at least a little cautious though.”
“Fine, I’ll let you two just plot all day instead of doing something fun or productive.”
He walks off, leaving Bellamy leaning against the wall. None of the rest of them are really talking to Clarke and Bellamy right now since they’re the only ones that aren’t fully convinced that Mount Weather is what they say it is. He walks over, then pulls himself up next to her on her bed.
“What are you doing?” he asks quietly.
“Shh, I don’t want you criticizing me right now.”
Bellamy looks over her shoulder.
“You’re drawing a map. Is it for us to get out of here?”
Clarke puts her pencil down, locking eyes with Bellamy.
“You really want to get out of here?”
Bellamy nods, running a hand through his hair.
“Yes, this place is off. Something’s wrong. Why was I picked up, and not anyone else?”
Clarke shifts so they’re facing each other.
“We haven’t really had a chance to talk. What happened after we closed the dropship door?”
Bellamy sighs.
“Well, everyone who knew to get away did. The Grounders didn’t understand why we were running, so only a few of them followed us. I broke off with Finn.”
“Wait, so Finn didn’t get caught in the fire?”
Bellamy shakes his head.
“No, and that’s what makes it all so weird. I was with him when I was grabbed. I was only a few feet away from him, and I’m pretty sure I was gassed. So I can only assume that it was a really small dose, and it didn’t reach him. However, if they really wanted to help, why are they telling us that everyone else is dead? There’s no way Finn just magically dropped dead.”
Clarke puts two fingers against her lip, contemplating.
“I don’t know. Maybe they don’t want to do the work to find them? It’s possible that he ran off once you got gassed. Do you know if the Ark had any survivors?”
Bellamy shakes his head.
“No, the only person that I’m sure survived was Finn.”
She deflates a little bit.
“I’m sure some of them had to have survived.”
“You saw how hard it came down,” Clarke replies, her voice soft.
“You’re right, but we have to hold onto something. I’m holding onto hope that Lincoln got my sister away, and that she’s ok. You can hold on hope for your mom, and for Finn.” He says the last part with a distant and sad tone.
Clarke puts a hand on his shoulder.
“I’m sure Octavia is fine.”
He nods.
“Yeah, I’m sure she is. Now, let’s refocus. What do you know?”
They continue talking, trying to figure out how to get out of the mountain. It takes a few days for them to figure out what was happening behind the scenes. It was while they were out, checking out the area behind the infirmary that the dorms were quarantined off. Clarke turns to Bellamy once the quarantine order is given over the speakers.
“What’s happening?” she whispers.
“I think you know the answer to that, Clarke. They’re going to hang our friends upside down and drain their blood.”
Before Clarke can answer, a guard turns the corner right beside them. He immediately grabs a fist full of Bellamy’s hair, kicking Bellamy’s right knee out from underneath him at the same time. Clarke lunges forward as Bellamy slams his head back into the other man’s nose. They quickly subdue the guard as quietly as they can.
Then they hear someone over the radio say, “Have you found the last two subjects?”
Bellamy clips the radio to his belt before turning back to Clarke.
“We have to do something.”
“I know, but what?”
“Well, first job should be getting to the command center so we can contact anyone still alive on the outside. Even if it’s just the remnants of camp, we get any backup that we can.”
Clarke nods. Bellamy grabs the guard’s gun before holding it out to Clarke. She looks down at it skeptically.
“What are you going to do?”
“I don’t know. I guess I’ll take his belt and strangle people with it,” Bellamy says with a shrug.
“That… nevermind.”
Clarke takes the gun, checking it over briefly. They end up sneaking into the command center after taking a few more guards. Clarke shoots three of the men in the room while Bellamy gets the other four. He runs to barricade the door before the people outside can come see what all the noise is about.
“Ok, I got it, but I don’t know how long this is going to hold so we have to hurry. See if there are any broadcasting signals anywhere nearby, because the Grounders don’t have those.”
Clarke nods, tucking the gun in her waistband before searching the buttons.
“I don’t know how to do that,” she says after a minute.
“Come here, and hold the door. The desk is doing most of the work, but just put your weight against it. I’ll see if I can figure it out.”
“How would you know how to do that?” Clarke asks even as she runs over.
“Jasper gave me a rundown of how to run the radio systems that the Ark has along with a few of the other systems that he knew about, and it should be close enough, I hope,” he says, muttering the last part.
Clarke nods, obviously not hearing his muttering.
“Ok, well as long as you know what you’re doing.”
Bellamy spends a few minutes at the console before pressing a button and saying, “This is Bellamy Blake trying to reach anyone from the Ark.”
He turns to Clarke.
“I don’t know if the radio at camp is still working, but someone is broadcasting.”
The radio crackles then a voice comes over it. “Bellamy, where are you guys?” Raven asks though she sounds tired and in pain.
“We’re inside the mountain. We’re being held against our will, and they’re going to do something really bad if we don’t do something fast. I need some kind of idea, or backup. Do you have anything to tell me?”
“Well, we knew that there were people in the mountain, because the Grounders told us. I didn’t know you guys were there. Can you open the system so I can see what you have going on?”
“Like unencrypting it for you?”
“Yeah, basically.”
“I guess I can if you tell me how to do that. Does that mean that people from the Ark actually survived?”
“Yeah, Kane and Abby are both here. Well, not like right here, but somewhere around here.”
Clarke turns so fast, her hair flying into her face. Bellamy flashes her a smile before turning back to what he’s doing. It takes a few minutes for Raven to walk Bellamy through the process of opening their systems so she can see how they work.
“Wick get over here,” Raven calls before putting the radio down. It’s quiet for a few minutes. “Ok, so bad news. We have access to their cameras now. They’re killing them.”
“What? Why?”
“I don’t know. They’re drilling into them or something.”
“Shit, they can’t leave the mountain. Apparently radiation is still a problem, just not for us, because of solar radiation or something. It probably has something to do with that. What can we do?”
It gets quiet again before Raven says, “Well, you could probably open all the exits from the console in front of you.”
“Wouldn’t that kill everyone?” Clarke asks, her tone tight.
“Yes, it would, but I don’t think the two of you could do anything else on your own. Just find out if you can do that with the console, and I’ll see if anyone else has any other ideas.”
She puts the radio down before either of them can respond. Clarke turns to Bellamy as he starts looking over the console.
“You’re not seriously thinking about doing that?”
Bellamy turns to her, his eyes soft.
“It’s us or them, Clarke. Are you willing to risk our people?”
She turns away.
“No, I’m not. Tell me if you find something. I can hear people banging on the door.”
“Yeah.”
By the time Raven comes back, Bellamy has looked over everything.
“I found something. It needs an override code though. Probably because it kills people, and I’d have to do each seal individually, because it’s not meant to irradiate the whole mountain.”
“Shit, maybe I can find the code somewhere. Let me look through their systems,” Raven says.
Bellamy pulls another cabinet in front of the door to put on top of the first one.
“Just in case.”
“I think they were talking about finding a blowtorch to melt through the door,” Clarke says, giving Bellamy a slightly panicked look.
“It’ll be ok,” he says before kissing her on the cheek. “Just hang in there, and we’ll deal with this.”
He walks back over to the console as Raven says, “Hang on, I got it.”
She gives Bellamy the code, and he puts it into the computer. He reaches for the lever, pausing. Then he turns off the cameras, not able to watch what he’s about to do. An alarm starts as soon as he pulls it the first time. He does the first two himself, but then Clarke appears beside him as he pauses again. His hand is shaking as it holds the lever. She grabs his hand gently, pushing it forward herself.
He blinks back tears as he puts the code in again. This goes on for another couple times before the alarms finally stop signaling that there’s no crisis anymore. Bellamy slides to the floor.
“That means there’s no one left that’s in danger, doesn’t it?” he whispers.
Clarke slides down next to him before leaning heavily against him.
“I think so.”
The first tear slips out of Clarke’s eyes, and Bellamy has to wipe his eyes to stop his from falling. He puts an arm around Clarke, but neither of them try to move again for a while after that. They don’t move until the backup from the Ark gets there, and even then they are still right next to each other, not really sure what to do now, or how to live with what they just did.

dark eyes slowly grew wide as she saw him, her heart swelling with hope in a way that had become so foreign to her it hurt. she was breathless as his face came into view, running towards her with the brightest smile, with those big sparkling blue eyes. "alec," kassy managed roughly as he barreled his tiny frame into her, practically leaping into her arms. her own hesitated a moment as she staggered back to the force of him before they wrapped around him. her eyes stung before they closed and she held him tightly. he wasn't sebastian, he would never be sebastian, but he was alive and here once again in her arms. something she had give up on ever expecting almost an entire year ago.
her hand raised to cup the back of his head as she felt him cry, tears of relief she was assuming, tears she felt she should be crying too but she hadn't done that in over a year either. "i missed you so much," alec whimpered and her lips twitched upward, expression softening a fraction as her arms tightened even more around him. "i missed you too," she answered roughly. dark eyes opened then as bellamy and trinity reunited with octavia and it all felt like a dream. it didn't feel real, even as she held alec, felt his heart racing against her chest, his quiet sniffling before they broke apart enough for her to really look at him. "i can't... i can't believe you're alive..." she whispered honestly which had alec nod, tears streaking his cheeks once again as his hands raised to where kassy's cupped his face. "me too.." he murmured yet a small part of her knew that answer wasn't just in agreeance about himself.
they both knew the state she'd been in before he'd been taken. wiping his tears, she managed a small smile, brows pinching together at the bittersweetness of this all. she couldn't find and bring back sebastian... but they had found alec, and though it still wouldn't fix the gaping hole in her chest, that hope she truly thought she'd lost forever, it flickered inside her now.
it had been a whirlwind of greetings as the two groups became one, introducing each other. "thank you, for looking out for my sister..." bellamy spoke, holding his hand out towards the man in greeting, awaiting his name. the man shook it with a small smile, "grant, grant ward, it's good to finally put a face to all i heard about octavia's big brother...." and though he kept talking kassy suddenly stiffened as though she'd been struck by lightning, the world around her seeming to slow as the dream she thought she was in shifted to a living nightmare. grant. grant ward. it was him.
“you know you can talk to me... you know i don’t judge you—until after you’ve vented.” kassy gently teased, nudging him with her shoulder. “now spill before i annoy the answer out of you,” she said playfully yet her voice still gentle, shaking him a little. sebastian looked down at her, an arm going around her shoulders. “fine,” he sighed. “remember my roommate, grant? i fell for him, like an idiot. i let my own assumptions lead me to catching feelings and he didn't. he just..... ended things... i asked, over and over again. he wasn't interested in talking,” his laughter was bitter, green eyes dark. “because he’s a fucking coward,” kassy said through gritted teeth. “you guys were fucking living in the same dorm room for god sake! what do you mean he just didn’t talk!? that’s—“ she shook her head. “so what, you just slept there with all that history between each other? that’s torture! he was torturing you sebastian and that’s not okay!” dark eyes shimmered as she looked up at him. “god... why didn’t you tell me..? i could have come down there... you didn’t have to be alone through that seb...” sebastian flinched at her harsh words. “it wasnt torture, don't be dramatic kassy,” he murmured, lifting the bottle and taking another hearty sip. “it just felt like it.” looking down at her amusement lit his green eyes. “what would you have done? you had school half way across the country and there was nothing to be done,” he pointed out. her expression was stern as she looked at him, “i am not being dramatic. he hurt you, and then continuously hurt you every night you had to lay across the room from him.” kassy looked offended, “what would i have done? the fuck cares about school when my best friend has to go through something like that alone? i could have at least flown down to be with you on a weekend or something—course i’d like to have had the chance to beat his ass..." kassy huffed before her expression softened, “i love you sebby, i'll always be there for you if you let me...” “i know... i love you too, kass.”
that had been one of the last times she'd even seen him and no matter how much he tried to convince her that he was fine, that he'd get over him... she knew how grave the damage had been, how deeply that man had broken him in a way she could not fix or heal or mend. he hadn't wished for her to try either as he avoided her and dove into his work, being reckless in his pain and putting himself in the most dangerous situations that in the end... got him killed. the pain she felt in this moment was nearly as sharp and paralyzing as it had been when she'd been told sebastian was dead. the conversations around her grew muffled as though she'd sunk under water, her vision zoning in on the man as unbridled fury broke free and rose in her chest. it was his fault her best friend was dead.
though it felt as though she was moving in slow motion, she reacted quickly. with nick standing by her and greeting alec, she yanked one of his knives free when she darted past them as a wounded, gutteral cry left her. she ran passed them all, her focus on grant as he turned to her but not fast enough. she lunged at him, striked like a cobra with the knife in her hand but with grant's training he blocked his chest, the knife slicing the skin of his arm instead. "IT WAS YOU!" she screamed, slashing with all her might even as he grasped her wrists, his honey eyes wide in surprise as he looked down into the blackness of her own. "YOU KILLED HIM! IT'S YOUR FAULT! YOU TOOK HIM FROM ME!" eyes burned with unshed tears. she could focus on nothing but funneling her pain and grief and fury against him, managing to nick his jaw and cheek with the knife she was flailing with all her might.
the screams that left her were horrible, agonizing, broken sounds as hands quickly reached for her, pulling her away from grant. she jerked and thrashed as her grief, her agony poured from her. "HE'S DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU; SEBASTIAN! MY SEBASTIAN!" she wailed, fighting nate and nick as they restrained her, as they tried to get her to release the knife. kassy was oblivious to the others around her, dark cold eyes piercing with absolute abhorrence as she stared him down. that was when she saw the way grant's expression changed, how it shifted the moment she screamed that name. confusion, grief, horror, it all flashed on his face and it made her all the more furious. how dare it look like he still cared about him after all he'd done. after it was all too late.

Chapter 1: Psycho
I breathe a sigh of relief when I finally arrive at my new apartment in Texas. I just hope he doesn't find me this time. Joe Goldberg my controlling ex who I also found out is a murderer.
Guinevere Beck, Love Quinn, Marriene Bellamy.
All of his former lovers are all dead.
Not all by his hand though. Love his late wife turned out to be just as psycho as him and killed two of his former loves Candace Stone and Delilah Alves.
He also went by several aliases: Will Bettelheim, Jonathan Moore, or as I knew him, Irvine Fadington.
I came across the book by his ex Guinevere and then the tale of his late wife Love in the suburb Madre Linda.
I didn't need to see his picture to know he had committed the crimes.
What he calls love is really manipulation. Joe wants you to do things his way and if you don't you end up dead. He was trying to get clean when he moved to the suburbs but Love turned him dark again. She kept having him clean up her messes then eventually she turned on him. In the end, it was a fight to the death he won by injecting her with wolfsbane.
He confirmed my suspicions about the murders just before he was about to kill me.
Flashback 6 months ago…
He catches me with his ex's book on the table and the page opens with the story about his late wife.
"What did I tell you about going on the internet when I'm not home?" Irvine said.
"Not to. Your name isn't Irvine, is it? It's Joe right?" I replied shakily. I have never been so afraid in my life. I feel it in my gut I'm not getting out alive.
He yanks me by the hair and pulls me into the alley behind our apartment.
"Little worm figured it out. I guess you are smarter than I give you credit for. Well, I can't have you spilling your guts. I have worked too hard to cover my tracks."Joe replied as he wrapped his hand tightly around my neck. The last thing I see before everything goes black is a murderous look in the eyes I once loved.
End Flashback
By some sheer miracle, a cop named Noe found me in the alley. It was a close call. After giving my statement, I left the state for my safety.
I'm stocking the bookstore shelves when I hear a familiar set of footsteps.
I turn around to see my friend Eden smiling at me. Her multi-spectrum hazel eyes lit up with a smile on her face. As usual, her blonde hair loosely curled.
She works at the restaurant attached to the store.
We met when I had to grab my morning tea from there.
Eden is always so happy-go-lucky. It breaks my heart that she lost her mother because of a work accident. While attending to a patient during transport, a vehicle hit the side of the ambulance.
Turns out her mom Jessica had a genetic disorder Hemophilia. So that cut on her stomach that they thought was minor ended up being fatal. Her dad Sam ended up raising her by himself. He's a lawyer. Eden is following in her mom's footsteps and going to nursing school.
She's got a chocolate muffin and orange pekoe tea in her hand.
" Thank you, sweetheart, such a sweet thing for you to do. What did I do to deserve a friend like you?" I said with a smile.
"Nonsense Y/N you are amazing and you've always been there when I needed you. I'm lucky to have you too." Eden replied.
And sets the food on the counter before hugging me and going back to work.
I spot a tall brown-haired man with broad shoulders buying something from the cafe. Even though I can't see his face I silently lick my lips. I've always liked them tall. You've just got out of a terrible relationship. It's not the time to be looking. Besides, he probably already has someone.
Fantasizing is harmless though I reason with myself.
I catch a glimpse of his eyes before he leaves. They are the most stunning ones I've ever seen. Those multi-spectrum hazel eyes will definitely be in my dreams tonight.

Arkhelios Adventures
The Bellamy house was alive with activity and noise. Three pottery wheels churned loudly as their users struggled to master the motions needed to control the clay. Only the oldest Bellamys were trying their best to make plates out of clay lumps. The twins were with their father and Saturnia was visiting her grandmother to give Roman and Abe some bonding time with their young teenager. Abe Jr was down for a nap, allowing the Bellamys to get started on their craft without interruption.
“This was my mother’s favourite medium to work with,” Roman said to no one in particular. Abe already knew about Kamalani’s art work and Theo wasn’t paying attention to anything but the whirling wheel before him. “I donated some of her pieces to the Strangetown Art Gallery once I figured out that she was semi-famous there. I think they’re even more popular now that she’s dead.”
Well, somewhat dead anyway. Mostly dead. Dead enough to never return...I hope.
While his father pondered the status of his deity angering mother, Theo gave up on his plate and turned his wheel off. This was boring and pointless. Roman was clearly trying to prove some point to his son, though about what, Theo had no idea. His other father was focused intensely on his project, trying to force the clay to follow his design with minimal results. This little craft exercise had failed. Neither one of his parents were interacting with Theo, aside from Roman’s ramblings, and whatever bonding they’d been hoping for with their son was never going to happen.
They meant well, which had to count for something. Some of his friends' parents barely saw them or never tried to spend time with them and here Theo's parents were, trying their best to bond with him. Theo had better things to do than sitting around watching a wheel turn while his parents pretended that their relationship was still fine. He could hang out with his friends or study for his latest potion exam on a day like this. He wasn't a baby anymore. His parents had a new baby now to occupy their time with anyway.
It took only seconds to dial the number he'd had memorized since grade school. While Theo had a dedicated circle of friends, there was one person he wanted to see more than anyone else.
"Hello, Adam? Are you busy? Do you want to hang out this afternoon? My parents are being weird again. Yeah, some craft that my crazy grandma sold a lot of back in the day. I know, right? It's insane. Oh, you're hanging out with Medora? Well come to Arkhelios and we'll all hang out at the usual place."
Theo listened intently to Adam's reply, staring at his little brother playing loudly in the hall. His parents had Abe to focus on now, so surely they wouldn't mind if he left for a few hours. They might even prefer his absence, so they could continue to talk out their various problems without their kids nearby to overhear. They would definitely welcome the space to talk amongst themselves, Theo just knew it. By hanging out with Adam and Medora, he'd be doing his parents a favour.
After hanging up with Adam, Theo sent a quick text to his father's phone and vanished into thin air once it had sent. It truly was easier to beg for forgiveness than ask permission.
Roman looked at his phone, hearing it buzz faintly over the turning of his wheel. After reading it, he angrily turned to where he had assumed Theo was and saw only a mess where his son should be.
"Dammit!" he swore, alerting Abe from his own project. "Abe, your son has abandoned father-son time to 'hang out with his friends'. It's not like he lives with those friends at school and sees them everyday or anything. We only see him for a brief time in a month and now he's leaving us again."
"At least he's letting us know where he is," Abe pointed out, looking as disappointed as his husband. “I never want to relive that time he ran away from home. Who knows if we'd ever find him again. He knows a lot more about the world now and could get into so much worse trouble."
"You're afraid of the same thing I am?" Roman asked, looking curious despite his efforts to hide his fear. "That he'll follow our example? That he's going to throw away his future on a boy?"
"Of course," Abe confirmed, looking disappointed that Roman even had to ask. "Why wouldn't I? I don't know why you think that you're on your own, Roman. He's our son; we're in this together. We're on the same team."
"Yeah?"
For an instant, Roman forgot his worry over his teenage son and allowed himself to feel hope like he'd forgotten how to.
"Yeah."
Roman's heart fluttered like he was the teenager in the household. Abe was saying all the things he wanted to hear, all the things he thought he'd never hear again from his husband. He and Abe had a rocky history with trust and teamwork, but maybe things were starting to get better between them. Maybe they worked better when they were under pressure or in danger and had a common enemy to fight. They were both stubborn and convinced they each had the right idea for every problem, but when it counted, Abe and Roman stuck together.
From the very second Abe learned he was pregnant at sixteen to the time he sat next to an unresponsive Roman who had just been shot, Abe had vowed to never leave Roman's side and Roman had done the same. Sure, neither one of them had been great at upholding that vow over the years, but they had made it just the same and confirmed it again when they married. It wasn't a demonic contract anymore, but despite everything that had happened between them, Abe knew that he would always treat it like it was. For better or worse, his fate was tied to Roman Bellamy and no demon, teenager or affair could ever change that. He’d never let it.

❛ no matter what you do or say, i’m not leaving you. ❜ 0OKAY BUT mbege/octavia zombie ON THE WAY to find bell / @myhiraeth
there’s something different about the neighboring city that sits just beyond their motel sanctuary. everytime octavia enters it, goosebumps rise along her skin. it’s nothing she could actually put her finger on, so she doesn’t tell the others but...it’s a feeling. like her home is somewhere near. if she could just grasp it, find him...god, she’d give or do anything. octavia doesn’t tell anyone, except mbege is always watching. as octavia set out with her pack slung over her shoulder and blade secured at her hip, mbege’s hand snakes around her arm, stopping her movements. “ hey, what— ” brows furrowed as she glanced towards mbege, head tilting to watch as he scribbled on his notepad.
no matter what you do or say, i’m not leaving you
they’re not out here in search of her brother. it’s a supply run, just like any other one. nothing more. except, by now, especially between mbege and styxx it’s an unspoken rule that whenever octavia does participate in runs, her eyes are equally searching for her brother. nearly a year into this world, the hope is slowly dwindling that she’ll find big brother alive but...she searches for bellamy. mbege watches for murphy. it’s the one thing they’ve shared since the beginning.
eyes lift from the notepad to mbege’s face, emerald hues studying his features carefully like he does so often to them. “ i... ” suddenly words seemed to evade her as she swallowed the lump in her throat, giving mbege a small nod of agreement. her head nudge towards their path, fingers fiddling with the fabric of her bag as they began their journey once more.
after a few silent moments, octavia finally spoke. “ i’d never leave you either, you know. no matter what. i won’t leave you out here. ” she promised.
#myhiraeth#v. zombie apocalypse#.....dont think about the fact this promise is for sure why octavia doesn't hesitate to protect mbege from zombie!bellamy

Exiles of The Ark ✧ 1.02 Earth Skills
Summary: After the small group left for Mount Weather, hoping to find food for the 100. Bellamy convinces the delinquents to take off their wristbands, Y/N. Not liking the methods Bellamy uses, but she has no choice but to go along with him. making Bellamy promise that from now on both would make the decisions over the camp.
Warnings: A bit of Fluff. Angst, Family love
Pairings: Bellamy Blake x Reader

eady knowing she wouldn’t get an answer out of him.
“This is for my father!” Murphy sprawled himself towards Wells. “If either of them dies. Your ass is next, do you hear me Blake.” Y/N warned, turning her consideration towards the dispute. A part of her was rooting for Wells to win and get a bit of satisfaction from seeing Murphy getting his ass kicked by someone else, and to her victory, she saw Wells beat Murphy. A smile on her face as she tried to hide at the sight of Bellamy’s loyal servant got a taste of his own medicine for once.
“Wells! Let him go.” Clarke rushed forward to the pair, looking at him in disbelief. Not knowing what was happening in his head. Y/N turned her attention towards the others, seeing Aurora's first after Finn came into view. She rushed over towards her, letting Bellamy deal with whatever Murphy was doing. She crashed into her little sister, hugging her. The comfort she felt to see her sister well. She turned to look at Monty and Jade, helping carry an injured Octavia. “Bellamy.” She called, rushing over to help Monty after nodding towards Jade to let her go as she helped Monty to Octavia.
“What happened?” She asked, letting Octavia sit down gently. “She got bit by something like a snake when she jumped into a river.” Jade responded, looking over at Octavia worriedly, stepping aside when Bellamy came rushing to see her.
“You guys didn’t get hurt, right?” She worriedly looked at her small family, looking at them to make sure they weren’t bleeding or anything. Only the looks of them being tired and scared. “Where’s jasper?” She asked, seeing that he was the only one that she hadn’t seen.
“Where’s the food?” Bellamy asked, turning his attention from Octavia to Clarke.
“We didn’t make it Mount Weather.” Finn replied.
“We were attacked.” Clarke Finished before any of them could ask what happened.
“Attacked? By what?”
“Where the hell is Jasper? Why isn’t he here!”
Finn held out a hand towards Y/N to calm down, as he continued to explain what happened. “Not what. Who. It turns out when the last man from ground died, he wasn’t the last Grounder.”
“It’s true. Everything we knew about the ground was wrong. There are people here, survivors. The good news is that it means we can survive. The radiation won’t kill us.”
“Yeah, the bad news is the grounders will.” Finn added.
“That still answer the question. Where. Is. Jasper?” Y/N took a step forward. She could not care less about having to fear the grounders. She wanted to know Jasper's location.
“Jasper was hit. A spear went through his chest the moment he took a step in Mount Weather..”
“And you just left him there?” Y/N couldn’t believe it.
“We didn’t want to, but I couldn’t let the twins get caught. I made sure they were safe. Jasper is still alive. We heard him scream and ran back to see that he was gone.” Monty took a step forward. Pushing Y/N away, Y/N let herself get pushed back. Turning her attention to Monty. As Clarke looked away from her, turning her attention towards Wells, grabbing his wrist to find a missing wristband.
“You and the twins didn’t get hurt?” Y/N asked softly. It was clear she worried sick about Jasper. If they believed Jasper to be alive, then she would take their word for it.
“Aurora cut her arm against one of the tree branches when we ran, but nothing that required immediate medical attention.” He assured her.
Y/N looked at the twins, who were very intent on what they were being told. “Idiots. The Ark's life support is failing. That’s why they brought us down here. They need to know the ground is survivable again! And we need their help against whatever is out there. If you take off your wrist brands, you’re not just killing them. You’re killing us!” Clarke looked at each single person around them. Her words seemed to make several of them rethink their choices of taking them off.
“We’re stronger than you think.” Bellamy toddler her, turning her attention towards the crowd. “Don’t listen to her. She’s one of the privileged. If they come down, she’ll have it good. How many of you can say the same.”
“We can take care of ourselves.” Y/N added, earning a disbelief look from those close to her.
Bellamy nodded as he continued. “That wrist brand on your arm? It makes you a prisoner. We are not prisoners anymore! They say they’ll forgive your crimes.” Bellamy turned to look at Y/N, walking towards her. “We say you’re not criminals! Your fighters. Survivors! The grounders should worry about us!”
“Y/N, what the hell are you thinking?” Clarke ran towards her. They were annoyed by the reaction. “I thought you would be against this! Why are you helping him?”
“Why wouldn’t I?” she said, shrugging. “You say Jasper is alive?”Clarke Nodding. “We heard him scream. If he had died and the spear went through his heart, he would’ve died instantly.”
“Grab whatever you need. We’re going after Jasper.” Y/N said. Walking towards the twins as she left Monty with Clarke.
“Aurora, let me see your arm? I want to make sure it’s not infected or anything?” Making the young teen sit, Jade came over and looked over his older sister’s shoulder. The cut wasn’t awful. There was no need for stitches, just cleaning, and Aurora should be fine.
“Yikes. That’s gonna leave a gruesome scar, piglet.” He teased, sticking out his tongue after hiding behind his older sister. Almost getting hit by his twin for being a little jerk.
“Go float yourself, jade!”
“Make me, you ugly looking pregnant roach.”
“That makes two of us, you dufus. If I’m the ugly-looking roach, what does that make you, huh? We’re twins. We look the same jackass.”
“Language.” Y/N glared at them. “Stop fighting and behave.” She warned them, tearing off a piece of clothing she carried around her bag, wrapping it around Aurora’s arm. “Besides. The two of you look like the love children of a blobfish and an aye-aye.” She said sweetly.
Octavia laughed out loud, having been near them as she heard the trio fight. This earned a broken-hearted look for the twins. “Octavia, do you think I look like the lovechild of a blobfish and aye-aye?” Jade looked at the older teen.
Octavia pressed her lips together, holding back from laughing as she shook her head. “No. no, I think you’re very adorable and very cute.” She said, reaching over to squish his cheeks and pull him into a hug.
“Don’t lie to him. Octavia’s just being nice and doesn’t want to hurt your feelings.”
Y/N teased, pressing a kiss on Aurora’s head, as the younger sibling rolled her eyes, knowing her brother was just being dramatic and doing it for attention.
“You’re just mad because you looked like the ass of a baboon.”
“Jade. That’s not very nice to say about your sister. No matter how true it is.” Bellamy joined a teasing smirk that made Y/N want to wipe it off his stupid face.
“Listen here, built like a toad-”
“Okay, that’s enough.” Octavia interrupted, having a little bit too much seeing the banter, it being followed by a groan. Y/N looked over Octavia’s leg, wanting to see how bad the bit was.
“What the hell was that?’ Bellamy asked, wrapping the rag around Octavia’s wound.
“It was like a giant snake. It bit her leg and dragged her around the water.” Aurora answered, sitting down on the other side of Octavia’s side. “You could’ve been killed.” Bellamy answered.
“She would have been if Jasper didn’t jump in to pull her out.” Clarke said, coming up to them.
“You have everything?” Y/N asked them, earning a nod from Clarke.
“You’re going to get Jasper? We’re coming too!” AS the twins and Octavia stood up to join them on the mission to rescue Jasper.
“No. You’re staying here. The three of you.” Y/N told them. “Monty stayed behind?”
“I told him to stay.”
“Good. I won’t have to worry about him doing anything stupid. Go find Monty or stay with Octavia, if there are other grounders there, waiting to attack us. I’m not risking sending the three of you to your death.” Y/N said.
” Oh. But it’s fine if you do it, right?” A snarky aurora answered.
“Don’t start with me.”
“Besides, we are here to get him, too.” Clarke pointed towards Bellamy.
“Clarke, what are you doing?” Wells interjected.
“I heard you have a gun.” Bellamy stood up, lifting his shirt to expose the gun. “Good. Follow me.” Clarke spoke, taking the lead.
“And why would I do that?”
“Because you want them to follow you…”
Y/N ended up turning her out, looking back at the twins. Leaving Clarke and Bellamy to talk. “Don’t argue with me. Look, I can teach you to protect yourselves, but for now, I want you to stay here where it’s safe. Go help Monty or help around the camp, okay? If you guys go, I won’t be able to give all my attention and protect you if I’m also worried about Jasper.” Y/n crouched down to their height. “I promise to come back with jasper, if you promise me to be good and don’t follow us.” with a quick hug and kisses on the head she looked at Octavia, smiling before walking away.
“Murphy, you’re coming with us.” She said, following behind Clarke and Wells.
“Since when are we in the rescuing business?” Murphy asked Bellamy as they followed behind Y/n.
“The Ark thinks the prince is dead. Once they think the princess is too, they’ll never come down. I’m getting that wrist brand, even if I have to cut off her hand to do it. And if we don’t go. the Queen is going to make our life a living hell, especially mine.”
___
“Hey, hold up. What’s the rush? You don’t survive a spear through the heart.” Bellamy came into view, finally catching up with rest as he held his gun in the air. A little too cocky for Y/N’s taste. Wells rushed towards Bellamy, “put the gun away, Bellamy.”
“Well, why don’t you do something about it?” Murphy grabbed Wells by the shirt, pushing him back.
“Knock it off! Clarke heard him scream. If she says that’s he’s alive, then he is alive. But I swear if we waste anymore time on these stupid fights. There’s going to be over one body getting buried today!” They fed her up with the fights between them. It was like dealing with toddlers. Every second they stayed arguing meant Jasper’s life was running out..
“Don’t worry, doll. We’ll get going as soon as Clarke takes off her wrist brand.” Bellamy grabbed Clarke’s wrist, showing off the metal band around her wrist. Y/N rushed over, pushing Bellamy away from Clarke.
“Enough. Right now isn’t the time to do this Blake!” Fuming with anger she walked away, hearing Clarke say that the only they would get the Ark to think she was dead, was by her actually being dead. She didn’t even bother walking with them for the rest of the way when Finn offered to split. She stayed by herself, looking for any signs for Jasper, struggles- anything.
She worried they wouldn’t get to him in time. Taking a deep breath, picking up a dead branch, breaking it into small pieces and throwing them. Distracting herself from letting her mind frying itself with worry. “A beautiful girl like you shouldn’t be walking all by herself in these woods.”
Y/N turned to find Bellamy by her side. “Beautiful? I thought I resembled the ass of a primate.” The good-looking male chuckled. “Are you done bothering Wells and came to bother me instead?”
“Is that all you think I’ve done since we got here?”
“Maybe,” shrugging, “I doubt you’re walking along with me because you love being near my lovely personality or beautiful face.”
“Maybe that’s why I’m here. Maybe I enjoy seeing that precious face of yours.” Bellamy leaned over, his lips brushing over her ear. Making her squirm a little from the ticklish feeling.
“Not everything with a hole wants to fuck you, Blake.”
“Who said anything about fucking? Don’t tell me seeing you shirtless woke up a desire for carnal feelings for me.” He stood in front of her, cutting her path. That stupid smuggle smirk on his face returned.
“Don’t flatter yourself, Blake. There is nothing worth getting lusting over.”
“I would say differently. I saw the way you looked at me when I walked out of the dropship shirtless. It looked like you wanted to eat me whole right there.”
“Please, don’t make me laugh.” Y/N looked at Bellamy as if he had lost his mind, “is your ego that up your ass that you think I want anything to do with you? Give me a break. There is nothing worth here,” using her hands to gesture towards Bellamy’s torso, “I’ve seen and touched better.” She lied.
Talking with him made her forget the reason they were even here. She found herself relaxed by him. It was like it was only two of them. The laughter and teasing between them were very enjoyable. It felt nice talking to someone that seemed to help her take her mind off things for a change. No else around. Reality had a nice way of reminding people of the harsh realities of life. They soon caught the playfulness off with a distant moan. Y/N’s eyes widening as she looks up to Bellamy.
“What was that?” Murphy asked.
“Now would be a good time to take out that gun.” Clarke said, running after Y/N;When she heard the moan, she dashed off. “Y/N, slow down. We don’t know if it’s him.”
“Exactly.” She said, pushing herself through the branches, hearing the moaning sounds getting louder and louder as they got closer. To her horror, she encountered Jasper tied to a try with something green on his chest. “Jasper!”
“Be careful.” Someone said behind her, she didn’t know who it was. Her eyes glued on the boy in front of her. The boy she grew up taking care of as her younger brother, the trouble they would get in with the adults up in the Ark. “What kind of sick joke is this?” She said, running closer to climb the tree to reach Jasper.
Clarke was ahead of her by one or two steps, when she saw Clarke falling into a trap that someone had set. She jumped forward, grabbing Clarke by the wrist, her foot sliding from underneath her. Skidding across the ground, desperately trying to grab anything to stop them from meeting their fate at the bottom of the spike pit. She was certain it was Finn who yelled for Clarke. Y/N was too focused on holding on to her life to guess who was talking. The desperate look on Clarke’s face. She felt a pair of arms around her waist, another set of arms reaching forward to grab Clarke. With all their help, they got Clarke out. Y/N looked down and saw that she had mud all over her shirt. Seeing it was that she had slipped on. Great. It was the only shirt she had. Now, she would have to get cleaned and walk around with her jacket covering her. She also noticed that the pair of arms were still around her. She turned her head to find Bellamy, his face full of concern. “Are you okay?”
“I’m okay, but can’t say the same thing about my shirt.” Y/N looked down at her ruined shirt. Looking up to see Jasper. “We have to get him down.”
“I’ll climb up there and cut the vines.” Finn tried to avoid traps that could have been left behind.
“Yeah, I’m with you.” Wells followed Finn, only to be stopped by him.
“No. Stay with Clarke and watch him.” Gesturing towards Bellamy, who had already let go of Y/N and mentioned for Murphy to follow him. “You. let’s go.”
“There’s a poultice on his wound.” Clarke observed, noticing what was on his chest.
“Medicine? Why would they save his life just to string him up as live bait?”
“Maybe what they’re trying to catch like it's dinner to be breathing.” Bellamy answered Wells.
“Maybe what they’re trying to catch is us.” Finn suggested.
“How about we hurry before we get an answer to our question?” Y/N said, stepping to the side to see if she could find another way up the tree to help them.
“Y/N’s right. Go back to camp to treat him. Clarke replied, catching the girl’s gaze. Smiling at her, which the second oldest of the group returned.
Finn had already climbed the tree, getting closer to Jasper. “Hurry up, Murphy.”
“Be careful!” Clarke called out, as they finally were cutting off the vines around the tree branches.
A distant growl caught their attention. “What the hell was that?” Murphy said from the tree.
“Grounders?”
A large, dark mammal came out from a clearing. Snarling its teeth at them, charging towards them. “Bellamy gun!”
Bellamy reached for his gun, a panicked look on his face as he realized it was gone. The animal came closer towards them. When gunshots fired, hitting the animal in the back of its legs, disappearing in tall grass beside Y/N and Bellamy. “Where the hell did it go?” It was all so quiet and still. Had that thing ran away? Or did Wells kill it?
Silence filled the surrounding area, the tension very high at how quiet it was when a snap drew her attention, followed by a growl as the animal jumped, lounging itself towards Bellamy. Y/N’s feet moved before she could even think, using all her strength to push Bellamy out of the way. She expected the animal to jump on her, but the impact never came. As she fell to the ground, she heard something fall beside her. Seeing that the animal had taken its last breath, going limp. Y/N pushed her hair out of the way to find out Wells had killed it.
“Now she sees you.” She heard Bellamy speak beside her, turning her attention towards him. Finding that he was already looking at her, and how close he was.
“Are you okay?” She asked, sitting on her knees, scanning his face and body for anything.
“No. I’m okay..” He said, unable to take his eyes off of her.
Y/N nodded, standing up. She offered Bellamy a hand for him to stand up. We need a cot for that. It looks like we’ll be eating tonight.” She smiled, squeezing Bellamy’s hand. Running over to help Finn and Murphy in getting Jasper on to the ground.
“Jasper.. You’re safe, okay? We’re taking you back to the camp and Clarke is going to help in any way she can.” Y/N looked over towards Clarke, hoping she could help Jasper.
“I’ll do anything I can to make sure he stays alive.” She promised.
“Thank you… let’s get going. I don't plan on spending the night out here.
With ease, they carried the injured male. Wells and Finn being the ones to carry jasper. Bellamy and Murphy got stuck taking the big animal back to camp, leaving Y/N and Clarke to lead the way back. “Hey, thank you for saving me.” Clarke said to Y/n.
“There’s no need to thank me. I would’ve done the same for anyone, including if that person was Murphy.” Making Clarke laugh as she got serious. “I’ll do anything I can to protect the people I care about. Even if it means putting myself in danger. I trust that you’ll do anything to help Jasper.”
“Or else you’ll end up ‘blow up the whole damn planet and everyone with it’” Clarke quoted her from yesterday, with a smile on her face.
“Yes. I’ll blow up the whole damn plant and everyone with it.” Y/N repeated herself. The dropship coming into view. We don't have to stay out of the camp.
Two campers shouted out their return. Monty showed up as they took Jasper into the dropship. “Is he?.”
“He’s alive. I need boiled water and strips for bandaging,” Clarke answered.
“Monty.. He's going to be okay. I’ll make sure she gets anything she needs to keep him alive.” Y/N pulled Monty into a hug, feeling the other return the hug. “Have you seen Harper? I’ll send her with the boiling water and clothing for the bandages. Go inside.”
Monty nodded, walking into the dropship as Y/N pulled away. Only to find her close by. She pulled her arm, motioning her to follow. “I need your help. I need to find some clean clothes and boiling water for Jasper. Can you get them and take them to the dropship? I have to watch for my siblings and make sure they have something to eat.
“Sure. I saw Jade walking along with this girl, not that older than him and Aurora.. I think I saw her chasing a butterfly.” Harper had to think. She saw them briefly before they started making the tents for everyone to sleep in.
“Thank you, Harper.”
“Y/N/N You came back!” Aurora came running up behind her, hugging her as she squeezed her as tight as she could. “Is Jasper okay?”
“He is. He’s in the dropship and Clarke’s looking after him.”
“Can I go help her?”
“Sure, why don’t you help Harper first. She’s going to get some bandages and boiling water for her. Where’s Jade?”
“He’s with Charlotte. We met in the skybox. He has a crush on her and Octavia too.” Aurora shook her head,"He said something, about wanting to be with an older woman.’” Aurora explained, scrunching up her nose.
“Does he now?” Y/N couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “Well, do you know where I can find them?’
“They went towards the edge of the butterfly field.” Pointing towards the direction where she had seen go. “She’s very skittish and keeps to herself.” Aurora warned her, taking Harper’s hand and pulling her away from Y/N.
Y/N laughed. They haven’t been on the ground for that long and already her brother was thinking of wanting to have a girlfriend. “I guess I’ll have to talk to them about that stuff later.. God, if it wasn’t embarrassing talking about this stuff when dad was around…”
She headed down the path where Aurora mentioned. Everyone rushed over after hearing that they had brought food. She needed to hurry and find Jade if she wanted them to eat something. She stuck her head around the area. They couldn't be far from the camp. Y/N ended up finding them as they looked up to see butterflies dancing around the area. They glowed like stars in the night. Both teens sat near each other. Just enjoying this moment. Y/N didn’t want to interrupt. It was cute seeing him interact with someone around his age. For many years, she regretted not being able to get them involved with activities with kids their own age.
What would they be doing? Would Aurora and Jade act like any teenager at their age? Going out with their friends. Staying out past their curfew. Both of them coming home and tell her about their crushes. Their first day of school. The little things that no one thinks about, the experiences one would think they didn’t matter. Those are the ones that her siblings missed out on. She would do it if she could. Maybe being sent to the ground wasn’t as bad. Here they could finally get the childhood that they missed growing up. Y/n wasn’t very good in school, but she would still teach them. Hell. She could ask the others to help them with things she didn’t know.
“Jade.” she called out, stepping out of her hiding spot. The two young kids turned their heads towards her.
“Y/N, did you just get back?” Jade stood up, running over to hug her.
“Yeah. I just got back with Jasper, too.” Y/n hugged her brother, smiling as she let him go. “How about you introduce me to your friend?”
Jade’s eyes widened as he took a step back, taking the girl’s hand in his. “Y/N, this is Charlotte. Charlotte. This is Aurora’s and I’s older sister.”
“It’s nice to meet you, Charlotte. I heard you’re good friends with the twins when you were in the Skybox.”
“Yeah. We were in the same section.”
“Thank you for being their friend. How about we get something to eat?” She held out both her hands for them to take. Jade immediately took her hand, while Charlotte thought about it, starting at the oldest hand before taking it in hers. Y/N smiled a little at the young girl, walking them back to the bound fire as she asked them how their days were when she left..
“It was okay. We left Monty to see if we could do anything. We actually got our tent ready. Harper and some others helped. We got a big one since we wanted to share it with you.” Jade explained, “but everything is calm.”
“That’s good. I was worried you guys would end up killing each other if I wasn’t here.”
“Nonsense… Y/N I want to take off the wristband.. I don’t want them to follow us here. We’re all so happy and free from the Ark and the council.”
“Is that what you want?”
Jade nodded, looking down at the wristband. Jade knew their parents were dead. He knew that the day their parents got floated. He often regretted not listening to Y/N when she told them not to sneak off when she wasn’t around, but they wanted to have fun and see how earth looked from above. Jade knew Aurora felt the same way. They would talk about when they could see each other. Both agree to never tell Y/N how they truly felt. She would tell them it wasn’t their fault and that their parent’s death wasn’t theirs to put the blame on.
“Okay, after we eat. I’ll take the wristband off for you.” Y/N turned to look at Charlotte, watching as she looked at the ground. “So, Char- can I call you Char? Do you have any place to sleep? You can move into the tent with us.”
Charlotte looked up at her, smiling as she nodded. She like the idea of being somewhere warm instead of sleeping on the ground.
“Y/N, what the hell is your shirt covered in mud? You stink.”
“Listen here, you little rascal. Don’t you think I didn’t forget about what you said to me this morning before I left! I should make you sleep outside.”
“You wouldn’t let your cute and innocent brother sleep outside like an animal, wouldn’t you? You love me too much to do such a thing.”
“We both know I will. Let’s not forget what happened when you broke Aurora’s doll.”
“What can I say? I’m very curious about the world.” Jade said cheekily, earning him a slap upside the head.
Why must you be a bitch?
“Language!”
“You cuss all the time!”
“That’s because I can and you’re still a kid!”
“You’re still a kid.” Jade mocked her, running away when he saw the look he was giving her. “Charlotte! run!” He grabbed her hand and took off with Y/N running after him. The little trio laughing, Y/N stopping to catch her breath, already breathing hard from all that running.
She saw them run past the bonfire, disappearing into the dropship. She glanced over, seeing that they were already handing the food for taking their wristbands off. “Blake. What are you doing?”
“Feeding them.” Bellamy walked towards her, having watched her run by, chasing her brother along with a young girl. Maybe their age?
“Getting them to take their wristband off for food.” She corrected him, watching as they celebrated another person taking off their wristband.
“Are you going to tell me I’m in the wrong again?” Bellamy asked, already getting annoyed if she was going to end up scolding him again.
“No. I would’ve done the same.” She saw that he looked surprised. Clearly, he hadn’t expected her to agree with him on something. “Also, came to say thank you for not letting me fall in the pit alongside Clarke.”
“I should say thank you. You pushed me out of the way and risked your life for me.” Bellamy was grateful. Whatever feelings he had for the female seemed to intensify with what she did.
“Don’t thank me. I would’ve done the same for anyone else.” She assured him, “anyway. I think we are both equal. You saved me, and I saved you from death today. We make a pretty good team, don’t we, Blake?”
“We are the King and Queen of the camp for a reason.” Bellamy smiled.
“King and Queen? I said that as a joke. I didn’t think that would stick.” She laughed, the laugh turning into a yawn, “sorry. Didn’t get any sleep last night.”
I'd like you to sleep in the first shift. I’ll go get you when it’s your turn.” grabbing three sticks of meat and handing it to her.
“Are you sure? I can join you.” She said, taking the sticks. Her fingers brushing against Bellamy’s as she thanked him. Feeling nervous, an electric rushing feeling exploding from her fingers throughout her body.
“I’m positive. Take a rest. I don’t need their Queen fainting on us.”
“Okay, dufus. I’ll go to sleep- before I forget. We should start doing hunting parties. We can start tomorrow.” She added, as Bellamy pushed her away towards where the kids were waiting for her.
“We can talk about it tomorrow, but for now. Go sleep.”
“Okay. okay, I’m going.” She said, rolling her eyes. Waving at Bellamy, holding up the sticks towards the kids. Making the kids lead her to their tent. Handing the children the food as she found a worn out fabric, cutting into small sections to use as walls to give them some kind of privacy in the tent.

“How long do you think the group is going to take with the food?”
“They should be back soon, either later today or any moment they could come in with the food to feed everyone in this camp.” Y/N glanced over at Harper, who seemed very curious about what they had in the little market that they had installed last night.
“I just hope they don’t too long. What if they die-”
“Don’t you dare say they died… They’re going to be fine. Clarke is with them. They’ll think of something if they come across any danger.”
She told Harper, though it was entirely to herself. She was getting very antsy. They were taking forever to arrive. They should’ve been back by now. She wanted to hug her siblings and tease Jasper and Monty about anything. She was getting paranoid. It was still early, and for all she knew, they could be near. Safe.
“Anyway, why don’t you get some rest? Take your mind off things for a moment. I knew you were up all night looking over the camp.” Harper wrapped her arms around the older female, both grinned at each other as Y/N patted the girl’s head.
“Did I make too much of a ruckus last night?”
“It wasn’t… bad, but it was like hearing bigfoot walking around us,” Y/N laughed as she playfully shoved her.
“I’m sorry my enormous feet kept you from your beauty sleep. I’ll be silent so as not to disturb you.”
“Alright. I’m gonna go check if Bellamy is awake. If the others don’t get back with the food, then we have to talk about going out hunting in the meantime. See you later, Harper. Tell Miles to come see me later.” She waved, making her way to the dropship to see Bellamy.
She avoided two kids, watching them make a bee-line to the market to swap whatever they had for anything they could get their grips on. “… I’ll take it from here. There’s always a market for-” Y/N heard Atom’s voice, finding him with Wells.
Atom reached to take the bundle of clothes Wells had. Wells took a step back, putting the material by his side to hide them from Atom’s view. “We share based on need, just like back home.”
Y/N steps forward, gesturing to Atom to take back off from Wells. Bellamy’s voice heard beside them as the man spoke from the entrance of the dropship. “You still don’t get it, do you chancellor?”
They all turn to look at Blake, who stood shirtless in front of them, kissing a young woman who had spent the night with him. Y/n rolled her eyes, shaking her head at the other. She had awakened early to cooperate with the construction of some stall and abandon her slumber for Bellamy to fool around with whatever girl walked by.
Men.
She couldn’t deny herself a quick peek. Sure, he was an ass at most, but that didn’t mean she didn’t enjoy seeing a bit of eye candy. He had a nice body and wouldn’t blame any of the girls that would like to sleep with him because he was attractive, but that didn’t mean she wanted to get involved with Bellamy for anything else than their safety.
“This is home now. Your father’s rules no longer apply here.” A smirk rested on Blake’s face, taking a shirt from Wells' hands.
Wells tried to stop Bellamy from taking it, but Atom stood in front of him, keeping him away from the leader of the camp. “Oh, no. No Atom. Atom, hold up. Do you want it? Take it.”
Bellamy held the shirt up for Wells to take it. A cocky grin spread across his face, waiting to see what he would do. Wells surprised Y/N, not by taking the shirt, but by throwing the pile of clothes to the ground. A group of teens nearby jumped on the clothes like vultures the second it came in contact with the ground.
Wells' face swelled with anger observing how the teens fought and pushed each other for the clothes. “Is this what you want? Chaos?”
“What’s wrong with a little chaos?” Y/ N replied, making Wells look at her. Bellamy, whose grin got even more smug when Y/N joined, was already putting the shirt over his head, much to Y/N’s disappointment. How dreadful she couldn’t gawk longer. Though something told her that this wouldn’t be the last time she would see him shirtless.
A scream of a girl caught their attention. Wells ran to see what it was. Both Bellamy and Y/N looked at each other for a moment, wondering what was going on as they followed behind the others.
“Bellamy. Y/N. We want the Ark to think that the ground is killing us, right? Figured it’ll look better if we suffer first.” Murphy held a girl over the fire. The girl fighting against Murphy to get away from the flames.
“Let her go.” Wells ran into Murphy. He pushed Murphy away from the girl, who fell beside it, running away as he turned to look at Y/n and Bellamy.
“You can stop this..” He implored them, the look of desperation on his face.
“Stop this? We’re just getting started.” Bellamy spoke for them. Just then Murphy came, landing a punch on Wells’ jaw. The surrounding crowd chanted for them to fight.
“You won’t say anything?” Bellamy asked Y/N, watching her look at the two males fighting.
“You seem to know what you’re doing. I trust you won’t let them kill each other. You’re the king of this camp. People only listen to you.”
“That’s where you’re wrong, doll. I might have some of them listening to me, but the other half seem to listen to you. Do you think they would have gathered the water or made those stalls if it weren’t for you? Just remember, every king needs a queen to help rule over their kingdom.” Bellamy's breath tickled her ear.
Y/N tensed up, unsure if it was from Bellamy speaking so close to her or the fact Wells had Murphy on the ground. “Don’t you see you can’t control this?” Murphy stood up. Y/n saw something glistening in the sunlight, noticing immediately it was a knife.
“Wait.” Y/N held out her hand, stopping Murphy from taking another step. She wouldn’t allow blood-shed just because someone’s ego was hurt.
“Fair fight.” Bellamy added, tossing Wells a knife at his feet. He took Y/N’s arm, putting a safe distance between them. Y/N opened her mouth to say something to Bellamy about giving Wells a knife to fight Murphy, but reconsidered it. Already knowing she wouldn’t get an answer out of him.
“This is for my father!” Murphy sprawled himself towards Wells.
“If either of them dies. Your ass is next, do you hear me Blake.” Y/N warned, turning her concentration towards the dispute.
A part of her was rooting for Wells to win and get a bit of satisfaction from seeing Murphy getting his ass kicked by someone else, and to her victory. She saw Wells beat Murphy. Y/N had to cover her mouth to hide the smile from seeing Bellamy’s loyal servant getting his ass handed to him.
“Wells! Let him go.” Clarke rushed forward to the pair, looking at him in disbelief. Not knowing what was happening in his head.
Y/N turned her attention towards the others, seeing Aurora’s first after Finn came into view. She rushed over towards her, letting Bellamy deal with whatever Murphy was doing. She crashed into her little sister, hugging her. The comfort she felt to see her sister well. She turned to look at Monty and Jade, carrying an injured Octavia.
“Bellamy!” She rushed over to help Monty after nodding towards Jade to let her go as she helped Monty.
“What happened?” She demanded.
“She got bit by something that looked like a snake when she jumped into a river.” Jade responded, looking over at Octavia, stepping aside when Bellamy came rushing to see her.
“You guys didn’t get hurt, right?” She looked at her small family, looking at them to make sure they weren’t bleeding or anything. Only the looks of them being tired and scared.
“Where’s Jasper?” Jasper was the only one she hadn’t seen yet.
“Where’s the food?” Bellamy questioned, turning his attention from Octavia to Clarke.
“We didn’t make it Mount Weather.” Finn answered.
“We got attacked.” Clarke finished before any of them could ask what happened.
“Attacked? By what?”
“Where the hell is Jasper? Why isn’t he here?”
Finn held out a hand towards Y/N to calm down, as he continued to explain what had happened. “Not what. Who? Turns out when the last man from the ground died, he wasn’t the last Grounder.”
“True. Everything we knew about the ground was wrong. There are people here, survivors. The good news is that it means we can survive. The radiation won’t kill us.”
“Yeah, the bad news is the grounders will.” Finn added.
“That still doesn’t answer the question. Where. Is. Jasper?”
Y/N took a step forward. She could not care less about having to fear the grounders. She wanted to know Jasper’s location.
We heard him scream and ran back to see that he was gone.” Monty took a step forward, pushing Y/N away. Y/N let herself get pushed back. Turning her attention to Monty. As Clarke looked away from her, turning her attention towards Wells, grabbing his wrist to find a missing wristband.
“You and the twins didn’t get hurt, right?” Y/N asked softly. She was worried sick about Jasper, unsure if he was alive or not. All she could do was trust their word.
“Aurora cut her arm against one of the tree branches when we ran, but nothing that required immediate medical attention.” He assured her.
Y/N looked at the twins. Relief that they were fine, and she just needed to focus on Jasper.
“Idiots. The Ark’s life support is failing.
“We’re stronger than you think.” Clarke turned her attention from the crowd to Bellamy. “Don’t listen to her. She’s one of the privileged. If they come down, she’ll have it good. How many of you can say the same?”
“I thought you would be against this! Why are you helping him?”
“Why wouldn’t I?” she said, shrugging.
“You say Jasper is alive?”
Clarke nodded. “If the spear went through his heart, it should’ve killed him instantly, but we heard him scream.”
“Grab whatever you need. We’re going after Jasper.” Y/N said, walking towards the twins as she left Monty with Clarke.
“Aurora, let me see your arm? I want to make sure it’s not infected or anything?” Y/n made the young teen sit. Jade came over, observing over his older sister’s shoulder. The cut wasn’t awful. Stitches weren’t required, just some cleaning and Aurora would be fine.
“Yikes. That’s gonna leave a gruesome scar, piglet.” He made fun of her, sticking out his tongue after hiding behind his older sister.
“Besides. The two of you look like the love children of a blob-fish and an aye-aye.” She sweetly grin ear to ear at them.
Octavia laughed out oud, having been near them as she heard the trio fight. This earned a broken-hearted look for the twins. “Octavia, do you think I look like the lovechild of a blob-fish and aye-aye?” Jade looked at the older teen.
Octavia pressed her lips together, holding back from laughing as she shook her head. “No. no, I think you’re very adorable and very cute,” reaching over to squish his cheeks and pull him into a hug.
“Don’t lie to him. Octavia’s just being nice and doesn’t want to hurt your feelings.” Y/N teased, pressing a kiss on Aurora’s head, as the younger sibling rolled her eyes, knowing her brother was just being dramatic and doing it for attention.
“You’re just mad because you looked like the ass of a baboon.”
“Jade. That’s not very nice to say about your sister. No matter how true it is.” Bellamy joined a teasing smirk that made Y/N want to wipe it off his stupid face.
“Listen here, built like a toad-”
“Okay, that’s enough.” Octavia interjected, having a little too much seeing the banter, it being followed by a groan. Y/N looked over Octavia’s leg, wanting to see how bad the bite was.
“What the hell was that?” Bellamy asked, wrapping the rag around Octavia’s wound.
“It was like a giant snake. It bit her leg and dragged her around the water.” Aurora answered, sitting down on the other side of Octavia’s side.
“You could’ve been killed.” Bellamy replied.
“She would have been if Jasper didn’t jump in to pull her out.” Clarke said, coming up to them.
“You have everything?” Y/N asked them, earning a nod from Clarke.
“You’re going to get Jasper? We’re coming too!” The twins and Octavia stood up to join them on the mission to rescue Jasper.
“No. You’re staying here. The three of you.” Y/n told them. “Is Monty staying behind?”
“I told him to stay.”
“Good. I won’t have to worry about him doing anything stupid. Go find Monty or stay with Octavia, if there are other grounders there, waiting to attack us. I’m not risking sending the three of you to your death,” Y/N said.
”Oh, but it’s fine if you do it, right?” A snarky aurora answered.
“Don’t start with me.”
“Besides, we are here to get him, too.” Clarke pointed towards Bellamy.
“Clarke, what are you doing?” Wells interjected.
“I heard you have a gun.” Bellamy stood up, lifting his shirt to expose the gun. “Good. Follow me,” Clarke spoke, taking the lead.
“Why would I do that?”
“Because you want them to follow you…”
Y/N ended up turning her out, leaving Clarke and Bellamy to talk. “Don’t argue with me. Look, I can teach you to protect yourselves, but for now, I want you to stay here where it’s safe. Go help Monty or help around the camp, okay? If you guys go, I won’t be able to give you all my attention and protect you if I’m also worried about Jasper.” Y/n crouched down to twins height.
“I promise to come back with Jasper, if you promise me to be good and don’t follow us.” They accepted with their heads. With a quick hug and a kiss on the forehead, she gave Octavia a smile.
“Murphy, you’re coming with us.”
“Since when are we in the rescuing business?” Murphy asked Bellamy as they followed behind Y/n.
“The Ark thinks the prince is dead. Once they think the princess is too, they’ll never come down. I’m getting that wrist brand, even if I have to cut off her hand to do it and if we don’t go. the Queen is going to make our life a living hell, especially mine.”

“Hey, hold up. What’s the rush? You don’t survive a spear through the heart.” Bellamy came into view, finally catching up with the rest as he held his gun in the air. A little too cocky for Y/N’s taste.
Wells rushed towards the oldest, “put the gun away, Bellamy.”
“Well, why don’t you do something about it?” Murphy grabbed Wells by the shirt, pushing him back.
“Knock it off! Clarke heard him scream. If she says that he's alive, then he is alive. But I swear if we waste anymore time on these stupid fights. There’s going to be more than one body getting buried today!” She had grown fed up with the fights between them. It was like dealing with toddlers. Every second they stayed arguing meant Jasper’s life was running out.
“Don’t worry, doll. We’ll get going as soon as Clarke takes off her wrist brand.” Bellamy grabbed Clarke’s wrist, showing off the metal band around her wrist. Y/N rushed over, pushing Bellamy away from Clarke.
“Enough. Right now isn’t the time to do this Blake!” Fuming with anger she walked away, hearing Clarke talking about the only way they would get the Ark to think she was dead, was by her actually being dead. She didn’t even bother walking with them for the rest of the way when Finn offered to split up. She stayed by herself, looking for any signs for Jasper- anything.
She worried they wouldn’t get to him in time. Taking a deep breath, picking up a dead branch, breaking it into small pieces and throwing them. The oldest female tried distracting herself from frying her mind from scenarios.
Maybe I enjoy seeing that precious face of yours.” Bellamy leaned over, his lips brushing over her ear, making her squirm a little from the ticklish feeling.
It felt like just two of them.
“What was that?”
“Now would be a good time to take out that gun,” Clarke ran after Y/N, who hear a moan in the distance. “Y/N, slow down. We don’t know if it’s him.”
“Exactly,” pushing herself through the branches, hearing the sounds getting louder and louder as they got closer.
“What kind of sick joke is this?” Running closer to climb the tree to reach Jasper.
Clarke was ahead of her by one or two steps when Clarke fell into a trap that someone had set. She jumped forward, grabbing Clarke by the wrist, her foot slipping from underneath her weight. Her body sliding across the ground, trying to grab anything to stop them from meeting their fate at the bottom of the spike pit.
She heard yelling, but could not know from who it was as she held onto Clarke. She felt a pair of arms around her waist, another set of arms reaching forward to grab Clarke. With all their help, they got their medic out. Y/N looked down and saw that she had mud all over her shirt. Great. It was the only shirt she had.
Now, she would have to get cleaned and walk around with her jacket covering her. She also noticed that the pair of arms were still around her, turning to find Bellamy, his face full of concern. “Are you okay?”
“I’m okay, but can’t say the same thing about my shirt.” Y/N looked down at her ruined shirt and looking up to see Jasper. “We have to get him down.”
“I’ll climb up there and cut the vines.” Finn looked around the tree for any more signs of traps.
“Yeah, I’m with you.” Wells followed Finn, only to be stopped by Finn.
Let’s go back to camp to treat him.” Clarke caught the girl’s gaze, smiling at her, which the second oldest of the group returned.
A large, dark mammal came out from a clearing, snarling its teeth at them, charging towards them. “Bellamy gun!”
Bellamy reached for his gun, a panicked look on his face as he realized it was gone. The animal came closer towards them. Gunshots fired, hitting the animal in the back of its legs, disappearing in the tall grass beside Y/N and Bellamy. “Where the hell did it go?” It was all so quiet and still. Had it run away? Or did Wells kill it?
Silence filled the surrounding area, the tension very high at how quiet it was when a snap drew her attention, followed by a growl as the animal jumped, lounging itself towards Bellamy. Y/N’s feet moved before she could even think, using all her strength to push Bellamy out of the way. She expected the animal to jump on her, but the impact never came. As she fell to the ground, she heard something fall beside her, seeing that the animal had taken its last breath, going limp. Y/N pushed her hair out of the way to find out Wells had killed it.
“Now she sees you.” She heard Bellamy speak beside her, turning her attention towards him. Already finding him looking at her, and how close he was.
“Are you okay?”
“No- Yeah, I’m okay..” Unable to take his eyes off of her.
Y/N nodded, standing up. She offered Bellamy a hand for him to stand up. “We need a cot for that. It looks like we’ll be eating tonight.” She offered a small smile, squeezing Bellamy’s hand. Running over to help Finn and Murphy in getting Jasper on to the ground.
“Jasper.. You’re safe, okay? We’re taking you back to the camp and Clarke is going to help in any way she can.” Y/N looked over towards Clarke, hoping she could help Jasper.
“I’ll do anything I can to make sure he stays alive.”
“Thank you… let’s get going. I don't plan on spending the night out here.”
Two campers shouted out their return the moment the group came into view. Monty showing up as they took Jasper into the dropship. “Is he?…”
“He’s alive. I need boiled water and strips for bandaging.”
“Monty.. He’s going to be okay. I’ll make sure she gets anything she needs to keep him alive.” Y/N pulled Monty into a hug. “Have you seen Harper? I’ll send her with the boiling water and clothing for the bandages. Go inside.”
Monty nodded, walking into the dropship as Y/N pulled away. Harper was nearby and went towards the second she saw Y/N looking at her. “I need your help. I need to find some clean clothes and boiling water for Jasper. Can you get them and take them to the dropship? I have to go search for my siblings and make sure they have something to eat.”
“Sure, why don’t you help Harper first? She’s going to get some bandages and boiling water for her. Where’s Jade?”
“He’s with Charlotte. We met in the skybox. He has a crush on her and Octavia, too.” Aurora shook her head.” He said something about wanting to be with an older ‘woman.’” Aurora explained, scrunching up her nose.
“Does he now?” Y/N couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “Well, do you know where I can find them?’
“They went towards the edge of the butterfly field.” Pointing in the direction where she had seen them go.
They couldn’t be far from the camp, right?
Y/N ended up finding them as they looked up to see butterflies dancing around the area. They glowed like stars in the night. Both teens sat near each other. Just enjoying this moment. Y/N didn’t want to interrupt. It was cute seeing him interact with someone around his age. For many years, she regretted not being able to get them involved with activities with kids their own age.
What would they be doing? Would Aurora and Jade act like any teenager at their age? Going out with their friends. Staying out past their curfew. Both of them come home and tell her about their crushes.
We’ve got a big one since we wanted to share it with you, but everything is calm.”
“That’s good. I was worried you guys would end up killing each other if I wasn’t here.”
“Nonsense… Y/N I want to take off the wristband.. I don’t want them to follow us here. We’re all so happy and free from the Ark and the council.”
Jade nodded, looking down at the wristband. Jade knew their parents were dead. He knew that the day their parents got floated. He often regretted not listening to Y/N when she told them not to sneak off when she wasn’t around, but they wanted to have fun and see how the earth looked from above.
She liked the idea of being somewhere warm instead of sleeping on the ground.
“Y/N, what the hell is your shirt covered in mud? You stink.”
“Listen here, you little rascal. Don’t you think I didn’t forget about what you said to me this morning before I left? I should make you sleep outside.”
“You wouldn’t let your cute and innocent brother sleep outside like an animal, wouldn’t you? You love me too much to do such a thing.”
“Is that what you want?”
“We both know I will. Let’s not forget what happened when you broke Aurora’s doll.”
“What can I say? I’m very curious about the world.” Jade said cheekily, earning him a slap upside the head.
“Why must you be a bitch?”
“Language!”
“You cuss all the time!”
“That’s because I can and you’re still a kid!”
“You’re still a kid,” Jade mocked her, running away when he saw the look he was giving her. “Charlotte! run!” He grabbed her hand and took off with Y/N running after him.
“Are you going to tell me I’m in the wrong again?” Bellamy, already annoyed if she was going to end up scold him again.
“No. I would’ve done the same.” He looked surprised.
“We are the king and queen of the camp for a reason.”
“King and Queen? I said that as a joke. I didn’t think that would stick.” She wanted to chuckle, but it came out as more of a yawn than a laugh. “Sorry, didn’t get any sleep last night…”
“I’d like you to sleep on the first shift. I’ll go get you when it’s your turn,” grabbing three sticks of meat and handing it to her.
“Are you sure? I can join you.” She the sticks. Her fingers brushing against Bellamy’s as she thanked him. Not knowing why, she felt nervous. An electric rush exploding from her fingers throughout her body.
“I’m positive. Take a rest. I don’t need their queen fainting on us.”
“Okay, dufus. I’ll go to sleep- before I forget. We should start doing hunting parties. We can start tomorrow.” She mentioned, as Bellamy pushed her away towards where the kids were waiting for her.
“We can talk about it tomorrow, but for now. Go sleep.”
“Okay. okay, I’m going.” The female rolled eyes, waving at Bellamy, holding up the sticks towards the kids and making the kids lead her to their tent. She handed the children the food as she found a worn out fabric, cutting into small sections to use as walls to give them some kind of privacy in the tent.

Shot Down |R.R.|
MASTERLIST
A/N: This was my first request and I was so excited! Hope you enjoy <3
The 100, Raven x fem reader? If your kay with it maybe where reader and Raven are in a relationship and had an argument but then the Murphy situation happens in the dropship so the reader helps raven out and when shots happen the reader protects Raven?
You loved Raven, truly. In fact, you loved her more than you thought your heart was capable of. But you couldn’t help but feel like she wasn’t really over Finn. You saw the way she looked at him when he and Clarke were together. You saw the pain of losing your first love and the crushing weight of having to watch him happy without her. No matter how many times she smiled and told you she was ‘so over him’ , you couldn't help but notice how her gaze always lingered on him for a second longer.
When Raven crashed to earth only to have her heartbroken you were there to comfort her. Brought together by her tech-savvy ways and your creative ideas the two of you spent countless days together, thinking up and prototyping weapons. And when night time crept up, throwing darkness onto all those below her, She’d creeped into your bed shuffling blankets to make room on your lap for her head. You’d play with her hair and hum her to sleep as she cried on your lap over a boy who didn’t deserve her.
As you two had grown close an unspoken thing rose between you.
Little kisses through the day, always over before you could move towards her. Cuddling into her bed at night, warm bodies pressed against each other as you fell asleep to the lullaby of her beating heart. Makeout sessions in the forest when no one was around but the trees and birds and all of earth's problems melted away when her hands were in your hair and her lips planted on yours.
Raven hadn’t been one much for public PDA and for a while you thought that was just how she was. It never really bothered you, so what if she didn't feel like sharing your intimate moments in front of a group of immature strangers.
That was until Finn approached you and asked if you knew what boy she was seeing.
* * * * * * * *
You rolled your eyes as Finn sauntered toward you.
“Hey.” his voice sounded exhausted. Much like everyone's did nowadays.
His hands were shoved in his pockets and he glanced around as if searching for someone. With all that you knew about Finn, you had never actually spoken to him. In fact, you actively avoided him. Desperate not to give off the impression that you were willing to talk to him you let out a hum of acknowledgment.
“I'm worried about Raven.”
Your eyes shot up to meet him. He had no right to worry about her, anything worry-worthy had been his fault. You bit back all the lectures and insults you'd thought you'd say to him someday, the ones you thought up while wiping tears with your shirt sleeve.
“Why.”
“I heard her talking to Octavia the other day about a guy she was seeing. I don’t think she knew I was there but..” he sighed, his hand going in towards his greasy hair as you tried not to grimace at its look.
“None of the guys here are good for her.”
Yeah, none of the guys.
You shoot him a frown and bit back your laugh. “No, but if she was seeing someone how would I be able to tell?”
“Well, when we were together she was always very affectionate. Holding hands in public and kisses all the time. She’s really big on PDA. Ya know?”
You didn't know.
* * * * * * * *
You held in your emotions for a few days, desperately trying not to let his ridiculous words get to you. But you couldn't help it as you drifted away from Raven. Every time you were together your mind drifted to her and Finn on the ark, holding hands and kissing in the halls where anyone could see. Your mind soaked up awful thoughts until you felt your heart might just explode.
This led to you storming into her tent in a fit of anger. You waved your hands furiously through the air as you told her about the conversation you'd had with Finn.
“I know you're not over Finn, and I know you're just using me to get over him but you don't want him to know about it in case he wants you back. I won't be your safety guard to fall back on until you're ready to get up and walk away!”
“What? That’s not what’s going on at all.”
“Oh yeah, cause it sure as hell seems like every time we’re out you want nothing to do with me. You won't even hold my hand outside this tent much less kiss me.”
“Y/n listen to me!”
“No, I’m so sick of this shit”
You loved her but you weren’t going to sit and watch her fawn over her asshole ex.
When the yelling had gotten too much for you to handle you stormed out of the tent, sweat running down your back from the hot weather and your bubbling anger. You hate how it felt and how it reminded you of stupid Finn and his stupid greasy hair. You remembered a stream you had seen on one of your forest explorations with Raven.
Raven. Raven. Raven.
You hated how even when you were mad and anger flowed through your veins, you couldn’t escape the thoughts of her. You needed to get out.
The stream was probably a 20-minute walk from camp. You knew the woods weren’t safe but you couldn’t stand being cooped up in camp for a second longer. You took one of Ravens’ guns with you, just in case.
When you reached the steam you glanced around before stripping. The woods were hauntingly beautiful, but every time you looked at them all you could see was Raven. Her back pressed against the trees as her fingers weaved knots in your hair. Your fingers slipping under her shirt exploring the curves of her hips. Her lips against yours, silent gasps for air interrupting the rustling of leaves.
You wadded into the water as if it could wash the thoughts from your mind. The water was like ice and only reached enough to go a little over your knees. The light breeze made goosebumps peak from your skin as the water suddenly seemed much warmer. You squatted down, the algae rocks tickling your toes. Splashing your face with the cool water, you scrubbed it, thankful to get rid of the sticky sweat that had built up over the weeks you’d been on earth. You took a deep breath and tried to relax your muscles.
As you sat in the water you thought about everything that’s been going on. More specifically everything going on with Raven. You hadn’t even let Raven explain herself before you stormed out. Your quick temper was always your biggest problem. Hell, it's how you ended up down here in the first palace. Guilt was a sickly feeling, it nestled into your stomach and made you feel like a monster.
Suddenly the woods felt too empty, The river too dirty and everything too loud. You felt loneliness fill your heart, its claws creeping their way up as you choked back sobs. As Raven's face once again visited your memory you decided it was best to get back and apologize before the sun disappeared and sleep took your lover.
As you got closer to camp you took note of the eerie silence, a major contrast from the usual laughs and shouts that filled the camp. Walking in you saw why. Everyone was crowded around the dropship. Most people looked indifferent or only had slight concern etched across their faces. That was until you came across Octavia standing at the front.
She looked as if she would just about pass out. Fear covered her whole face as she tapped her foot impatiently. A walkie-talkie clenched tightly in her hand as her teeth pulled tightly against her bleeding lip.
“What’s going on”
Without her eyes ever leaving the doors of the drop ship she answered you.
“Murphys got Bellamy trapped inside. I- I think he’s going to kill him. Jaspers under the ship trying to get him out.”
You surveyed the crowds trying to find Raven but nowhere was the girl donning the red puffer jacket anywhere to be seen.
“Where's Raven?”
Octavia’s eyes flickered to you for only a moment before returning to the dropship. But with that one look, you knew she didn’t want to tell you.
“Octavia, where is she.” You moved in front of her, blocking her view of the dropship. Annoyance flashed across her features but it quickly vanished.
She sighed “She's under there helping Jasper but-”
That was all you needed to hear before you turned around and headed toward the dropship. Before you could make it two steps Octavia had grabbed your arm and pulled you back. You considered pulling your arm out of hers or even pushing her down so she would let you go. But the girl had a grip like iron and an attitude to match.
“She’s got this. By going in there you could mess up everything. Just trust her. Okay?”
You nodded and stayed put. But her words did nothing to ease the fear that washed over you like a tsunami, drowning you.
A gunshot rang through the air and Octavia’s grip on your arm tightened. One part in an effort to reassure herself and another part to keep you put.
You weren’t super religious but at that moment you begged whoever -if anyone- above to make sure Raven came out of this alive and unharmed.
Minutes seemed like hours until finally a familiar mop of brown hair appeared from beneath the dropship. You felt every muscle in your body relax and the headache that you hadn't even noticed disband.
You shrugged out of Octavia’s grasp and ran to Jasper quickly engulfing him in a hug. His arms hung limp at his sides and you could see his anxiety written across his face. But at least they were okay.
“Oh thank god”
You peered behind him, expecting to see Raven, but no one was there.
As if sensing your unspoken question he spoke,
“She’s still in the dropship. She-”
But you were already gone.
As you squirmed your way through the complicated working of the dropship you spotted the brunette. Your lungs filled with air and the knot in your chest eased. She was okay.
“Raven ..”
She jumped at your sudden appearance and something within the circuit she was working on sparked. She let out a slight scream as the sparks burnt the tips of her fingers.
You both looked up as the noises from above ceased
And then came the gunshots.
After the first one, you dived over her without a second thought, knocking you both to the ground. You heard her head hit the ground with a loud thunk as the air left her lungs. You covered her body with yours tucking your head into her neck as you covered her face with your hands. You breathed in her scent as bullets rained down on you. You could feel her heart's erratic beating against your chest. It felt like forever until they finally stopped.
When they did Raven wasted no time moving you off of her and getting back to the control panel, finishing what she started.
You however couldn’t move.
Damn adrenaline.
You took a few deep breaths and calmed your heart as much as you possibly could. You tightened your muscles in an attempt to sit up, the same way you've sat up your entire life. Except for this time, your muscles wouldn’t tighten. It was as if they had stopped working entirely.
“Raven “ you called out to her. You were terrified, your heartbeat so loudly you could feel it in your eardrums. She was too focused on finishing the control panel to hear you. Finally, she got it, shooting you one of those proud smiles you always loved. It quickly dissolved when she saw the fear on your face as tears streamed down from your eyes.
“I can’t move. Oh god. Oh my god. “ Your tears turned to sobs as your body shook. She was by your side in a second as she quickly took to examining your body.
“I can’t find a wound.”
“Please, please, please Raven.” She had no idea what to do but couldn’t bear to watch you break to pieces in her arms.
Slowly she moved you so you were sitting up, and although it took a while she was able to get you up and onto her back.
A bang sounded from above and the whole room shook. Her hand slipped from its grip on your thigh but she quickly managed to catch it.
She held your legs as you wrapped your arms around her neck. Although your cries were no longer audible she felt you shake against her back as warm tears splashed her shoulder.
Before she even got into the camp she was yelling.
“WHERE'S CLARKE. SOMEBODY GET CLARKE.” the blonde rushed to her side, a sharp intake escaping when she saw you.
“She says she can’t move. Murphy shot her. I couldn’t find the wound but I don’t know.” She tried desperately not to cry.
Not now. Raven thought. Not when she's breaking.
She carried you into the dropship, laying you carefully down on the table. It took a while but Clarke finally made it in to help.
After sanitizing her hands with what was left of the alcohol she looked at Raven. They both knew this wasn’t going to be good.
“I need to get the bullet out. Can you distract her?”
Raven nodded and held your hand tighter. You could feel her warm palm against hers, the only thing keeping you from falling apart in a fit of hysterics. That was about the only thing you could feel. Everything below your chest was dead weight.
“Remember how you thought I wasn’t showing you public affection because I still had feelings for Finn?” Clarke risked a quick glance at the girls before resuming her work.
You felt her fingers enter the wound in your back and let out a scream.
“Is now really the best time to talk about this” you tried to say between screams and grunts. She nodded, a determined look on her face.
“That’s not why.”
“Okay..” you urged her to go on so you could focus on her voice instead of the fingers probing around underneath your skin.
“No one knows that I am ya know,” although she didn't make a show of it you knew Clarke was listening.
“And I guess I was just- am just, afraid of the way people might look at me.” the raw emotion on her face almost made you forget what was happening. Almost.
You screamed again as Clarke’s fingers exited the wound.
“Got it. Now comes the painful part” You looked at her in horror.
She turned your head away so that you were once again looking at Raven. The brunette couldn't hide the horror that flashed across her face at whatever Clarke was doing behind you.
“Trust me, it’s best not to watch this part.”
Raven almost couldn’t handle the look of fear on your face. She wanted to wrap you up in her arms and keep you safe and away from this cruel world. She laced her finger between yours, light kisses against the back of your hand in an attempt to calm your pounding heart and shaky breaths.
Clarke handed her a cloth for you to bite on. It would stop you from breaking your own teeth is what she had said.
Raven squeezed your hand in reassurance and placed a gentle kiss on your head as you let out a ground trembling scream. She felt her heart fall to pieces at the sound. The world around you disappeared as you tried desperately to focus on Raven instead of the hot metal searing your flesh.
And then-
It was over.
You just lay there, studying Raven. Her lower lip was redder than the top one due to her gnawing on it anxiously. Her eyelashes were long and cast delicate shadows across her high cheekbones. Her jawline was sharp and unmoving. Skin pulled tight in a frown of worry. The whole thing had taken a toll on you. But you refused to let yourself fall asleep.
“Raven, I’m so sorry.”
She let out a sad laugh as tears started forming in her eyes
“Never do that again.” She wanted to scream at you. She wanted to hit you and yell at you for being so stupid. For putting her life above yours and trying to be the hero. But she knew you wouldn’t be able to handle that. Not today at least.
Your eyelids were so heavy. You decided you would just close them, not sleep.
As your eyes fluttered closed Raven turned to Clarke.
Is she going to be okay?
“Yes, but…”
“But what”
“She suffered a slight spinal cord injury. I don’t know how bad it is. She might be able to walk again in six months or a year or possibly never.”
As you heard these words your mind drifted as the welcoming arms of sleep embraced you.
As longs as Raven is okay,
I can handle it.

Silent Bloom
Parings: Bellamy Blake/reader
Warnings: None
Chapter: 2.02
"So Nyko tried to kill him?" You asked.
Octavia nodded. "Yeah, he said death was the only way."
The guilt on Octavia’s face was obvious; she blamed herself. "O, listen to me. Lincoln wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for you. You saved him."
"He got shot because of me."
You leaned forward and squeezed her hand. "You and Bellamy did what you had to, he will understand."
"I hope you’re right."
You smiled at Octavia before glancing over her shoulder. Finn was talking to Clarke in what looked like an intense conversation. For all the times the blonde got on your nerves, she at least appeared to have Finn’s back, which you were grateful for. You just hoped somebody was looking out for Monty and Jasper. After a couple of moments, Clarke disappeared from sight as she left camp.
"Daisy?"
You looked back at Octavia to see her looking at you, concerned. "Sorry, I was just lost in my thoughts."
"I’m here for you Daze, whenever you need to talk."
"Grounders are big and strong, and if the mountain men can turn Lincoln into a reaper-"
Octavia knowing what you meant finished the sense for you. "Then what are they doing to our people?"
You nodded. Clarke explained that she was going to meet with the commander to try and come to a deal with them, but that wasn’t enough. The grounders had no loyalty to your people and could easily turn at any minute. Clarke escaping the mountain with Anya wasn’t enough to build trust. They escaped. You leaned in closer to Octavia, "I think I have an idea."
Once you explained your idea to Octavia for a moment, she stared at you, dumbfounded before talking. "I think your plan is insane, but it might work. I’ve got your back on this."
From the moment you met Octavia, you knew she was a kind person, and her friendship was one you’d always be grateful for.
—
"Absolutely not! Are you insane!"
"Stop being so loud, somebody will hear us."
Bellamy shook his head before continuing to pace back and forth. Octavia was keeping an eye out while you had practically cornered her brother. It was surprisingly easy to get Bellamy on his own, considering he was always surrounded by so many people."
"You can’t do this," he stopped pacing and turned to face you. "I won’t let you."
You scoffed, "let me? You don’t own me, Blake."
"It’s too dangerous"
You held his gaze while stepping closer to him. "Tell me you haven’t thought the same thing, and if you can tell me, I’ll drop this."
Bellamy let out a frustrated sigh before replying. "We’ve talked about going into the mountain before. That’s always been a part of the plan."
"I don’t want to sneak in."
"You want to be bait!" He snapped.
The harshness of his voice takes you by surprise, but you brush it off. You knew Bellamy wouldn’t like your plan. Nobody would. "It makes more sense. If I get taken, they won’t be suspicious. I can fill our people in on what’s going to happen before-"
"We don’t know when the commander will want her people to attack. It’s too late for this plan to work."
You scoffed, "right."
A strange look appeared on Bellamy’s face as he stared at you. He was hard to read. You found it almost intimidating the way his brown eyes studied you. "You don’t think the commander will agree to a truce."
It wasn’t a question.
Bellamy was right, you didn’t think they would. "They have no reason to trust us."
"They will want to save their people who have been turned into reapers."
"I don’t doubt that, but once we’ve done that and stopped the mountain men, what is stopping them from slaughtering us?"
Bellamy looked as if he was pondering your words before shaking his head.
"Jasper and Monty are my family. I can’t sit back while they suffer."
"I can’t let you be bait."
As you opened your mouth to reply, there was a knock at the door. Somebody was coming. "This conversation isn’t over."
You expected Bellamy to argue back, but instead his face split into a wide grin before he held the door open for you.
—
Leaning against a large piece of metal, you shuddered as the coldness touched the back of your neck. The past few hours had seemed to drag on. You had just finished your shift on cleaning duty and had decided to wait by the gates for Clarke to return.
You enjoyed the rare moment of isolation as you stared up at the stars. Looking at the beauty up above was one of the only things that could distract you from reality.
A rustling noise from behind caused you to jump slightly. You frowned upon seeing the amused look that spread across Bellamy’s face. "Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you."
"What can I do for you, Blake?"
He sat down on the ground next to you. "I thought I’d come to you this time."
You leaned back into a more comfortable position, heart still racing. "Wise choice, I would have just hunted you down anyway."
"I was thinking about what you said before." Oh great. You could already imagine this conversation turning sour. Regardless of what he said, you were sticking to your plan. "I think I might have a solution. We will go in together."
Together? It took you a moment to process what he was proposing. "How?"
"Lincoln knows a way in."
Your eyes widened. That plan sounded riskier than yours. "I’m assuming Octavia doesn’t like this plan."
"She doesn’t know about it yet." Octavia wouldn’t like her boyfriend and brother putting themselves at risk, but she would understand. "We need to wait until he is better, and Clarke is back. This plan is only a back up."
"What made you reconsider?" You asked curious.
"You’re stubborn." You chuckled at his answer. "I know you’d try to find a way in no matter what I said. At least this way we will have each other’s back."
You smiled before looking back up at the sky. You sat in a comfortable silence until Bellamy turned to you again. "Can I ask you something?"
You nodded.
"Have you and Finn sorted things out?"
"Yeah, we have." You smiled, knowing that closure was the one thing you did have. "We are just friends."
The sudden touch of Bellamy’s fingers brushing against your face made your cheeks burn. He tucked a few strands of hair behind your ear before moving his hand away. His touch brought back the memory of being high and imagining him kissing you popped into your head, causing you to burst into laughter.
Bellamy looked at you confused, "What’s so funny?"
"Just remembered an embarrassing memory." You could feel your cheeks heating up. "It’s not that funny really, it’s just-"
"Embarrassing?" He smirked.
When you finally stopped laughing, you noticed Bellamy was giving you the same intense look he had earlier. Suddenly, his lips are on yours. His fingers settle on your cheeks.
When the pressure of his lips is gone, and your eyes flutter open, you gaze directly into his brown ones. He pulls away, muttering to himself. "That was stupid, I’m sorry."
"No, it wasn’t," you replied.
"Yes, it was," he says, avoiding your gaze as he stands back up. "I should have asked."
"Maybe you should have, but I didn’t pull away." Bellamy looked down at you and reached his hand out to help you to your feet. "I would have said yes."
Putting his hand on the back of your neck, he leaned in until your lips were almost touching, "and if I asked you now?"
"Bellamy I...Clarke’s back."

'Isn't it such a lovely day outside?' Josephine inhaled the fresh air whilst holding onto my hands that were tied up. 'If it weren't for this whole royal blood thing, we could totally have a picnic together.'
'With all due expect, I'll pass the invitation.' We were held against our will from Russell and his guards to guide them to our ship. I wasn't in a playful mood at all, especially when Emori and John were on their side now.
The two walked alongside Russell up front as we marched back to our ship, talking and having a casual conversation with him as if they didn't plot to kill him the night before.
Emori had threw us under the bus to save herself and John, I've never felt so betrayed. It hurt even more that John seemed okay with this, not doing anything to save us from Russell's insanity.
Josephine sighed, 'Come on. Bellamy has no chance with you after what he did and you and Murphy are practically broken up right?'
'I don't know, I have more important things to worry about. Like your homicidal father. And why do you know about what Bellamy did to me?'
'Abby told me. Emori helped me get through to her when I tried to find out how to get the royal blood. We started talking about you and-' She paused with a sad look on her face. 'She told me everything about everyone, spoke really nasty about you and how you're the reason why her life was a mess. Something about Marcus breaking up with her.'
I shook my head, crazy how I had to hear this from Josephine. Abby was never satisfied with anything, she was the one that made my life a living hell. 'She ruined her own fucking life, I didn't even know he broke up with her. He never told me.'
'Well, that's great. I have another competition going after you.'
'Marcus is family, more so my dad.' As I chuckled lightly watching her reaction, I asked her a question. 'Was talking to Emori and Abby the reason why you fooled some of our people?'
'Emori taught me how to be Clarke. It didn't help in the long run because eventually Murphy found out. Apparently I kept calling his "John".'
Madi walked up to me with a guard behind her, also holding onto her tied up hands. 'Y/N, why are you being friends with this murderer?'
'I'm not friends with her.'
'We're not?'
Turning around to face Josephine, I sighed. She curled her lips and nodded. 'I was only joking... kind of.'
'Well, Clarke is dead and nothing is a joke about that.' Madi implied, glaring at Josephine.
'Madi, remember it wasn't her that killed Clarke. It was Russell. She wasn't alive when everything happened so it's not necessarily her fault.'
'But she's a part of the clan that killed her.'
Oh, how I wish that I could just sit next to her and comfort her. I couldn't imagine how she felt when she was told that Clarke was gone from her life forever.
She reminded me of my younger self, how broken I was after my parents had passed. Even with the abuse that I went through, I was sad that my mother was gone.
The difference between us was that Clarke was with her the whole time. It hurt me that Madi lost someone so dear to her heart and she had no time to grieve.
'We shouldn't associate a person just because they're in the same clan. Miller was Wonkru but he was no where near bad as I was. Matter of fact, he was one of the very few people that didn't lose himself.'
Madi kept her head down, couldn't quite tell if she was feeling sad or not but I didn't want to pry. 'I'm no Clarke but if you need someone to talk to about anything, I'm here.'
She nodded her head up and down, not saying anything at all. I began to worry, hoping that she didn't suddenly feel sick. 'Are you okay Madi?'
'Yes, just a little headache. Some commanders in my head are distracting my thoughts.'
'Do you want me to call Gaia to help you? She's just walking a little ahead of us.'
'No, I'll be fine. Thank you Y/N.'
Josephine stared at Madi as she slowed down on pacing herself with us, eventually walking behind us. 'What's a commander?'
'Nothing.'
'You know Y/N, you should lighten up a little. It seems like you've been down since your little incident with Murphy.'
He wasn't the reason I was "down", I was angry at Emori and her selfish ways of selling us out just for some dumb mind drives. Was living for eternity so important, more important than any of our lives?
'It's not that, not that I need to owe you an explanation.'
'Ouch. I don't blame you for hating me though, my dad did kill this girl.'
'I don't hate you because you're his daughter. You're on the killer's side so I'm just hesitant.'
Josephine pouted, 'Aw. Even after our kiss?'
Miller butted in on our conversation, who was walking next to us. 'Kiss!? Y/N Reyes, you're such a player.'
'Shut up, Miller.' I rolled my eyes as he chuckled. 'Besides, she kissed me not the other way around.'
'Yeah, sure.'
Josephine was fairly nice to me, from what I've seen she wasn't a terrible person. Other than enabling John from getting hurt of course, even though that wasn't really her choice.
It would be great to have her on our side, having someone on the inside to help us get out of this mess. Especially her being Russell's daughter, there would be so much we can use against him but I highly doubt Josephine would take the route of betraying her family.
'We're here.' Russell signaled his armed guards to go in the ship as he whispered something into their ears. He then followed them inside after they've managed to open the ship, leading the rest of us inside.
'All clear.' Guards would yell as they invade our space, inspecting one hallway, one room at a time.
'What's going on?' I heard Jackson mumbling from the main area as the guards reached the last room. 'Why are you all here?'
Russell squeezed between his guards, 'We won't hurt you if you do as I say. All we want is for you guys to make the royal blood.'
'Don't do it.' Raven instantly gotten shoved as she spoke against Russell.
Jackson furrowed his brows as he saw Raven groan from pain, soon realizing something was odd. 'I-I don't know what you're talking about.'
'Just do as he says.' Emori jumped in, 'Make the nightblood and no one has to get hurt. Please.'
The rest of the room was silent, despite the old Wonkru people being there, standing behind Jackson. People were scared, I could sense their fear and confusion. I couldn't blame them, they'd thought that the next time we came back was to tell them our compound was ready.
Niylah walked next to Jackson, stared at Emori for a while. 'Why aren't you and Murphy tied up like the rest of them?'
'Can we just ask questions later, please?' John answered for her, 'Do we have everything we need to make the nightblood?'
'We do, once we fly this thing up.' Abby said as she was standing behind me, hands tied up also. 'I could make it, I just need access to the lab.'
Shaking my head, I turned around to Abby. 'You do realize you need Shaw to fly this ship up.'
A breath escaped Raven's mouth. 'Of course you have to drag him into this, Abby.'
'We don't have a choice right now.'
'There's always a fucking choice.' I yelled at her, 'Just like when we were at the bunker, there is always a choice. You are just too much of a pussy to make one.'
Russell let out a breathe, 'Abby. You come with me. The rest of you will stay in here.'
Murphy's POV;
The guards started to let go of everyone's restraints from their wrists, untying the ropes as they were finally free.
Bellamy immediately approached Y/N, worrying about her and asking questions regarding the situation. Perhaps they were plotting something, finding a way to stop Russell.
This had given me mixed feelings, feeling a little bit of guilt as Bellamy and Y/N have gotten closer. Echo was right, I have probably hurt Y/N for betraying her.
We've never talked about the morning she had told me she loved me either, not that it mattered anymore. Given the circumstances, she had probably forgotten about me already. I didn't blame her, I was the reason for us falling apart as it always was.
This also proved that I was right too, I should've killed Russell a long time ago. As soon as I was free from him, I should've ended everything. Instead Emori made a deal with him, made Y/N think that I was a part of this scheme.
Emori signaled me to come with her as Russell and his wife took Shaw and Abby with them out the room. I took a quick glance at Y/N, who was talking to Bellamy and her sister. I didn't want her to see me following Emori.
Walking quickly to avoid Y/N watching me, I exited the room with Emori. 'What's wrong? You don't agree with this all of the sudden?'
'I never agreed to this, Emori. We said we're going to get Russell at night, when he's sleeping. Not make a deal with him and get the rest of them in trouble.'
'You didn't care about Y/N's opinion but now all of the sudden you do?'
'That and this is different! Now she's held against her will where Russell can possibly kill her.' I held my head, pacing back and forth. 'Instead you got us on his side, I never wanted this.'
Emori held my hand, pulling me closer. 'John, don't you get it? I did this for you.'
'But I never wanted this. I just wan-'
'We can live forever, together. I got this damn mind drive just for you.'
I could see the sorrow and desperation in her eyes. This was all my fault, I broke her heart back at The Ring. Knowing how much she needed me, I decided to leave her.
It wasn't an easy choice to make. At The Ring, I still loved Y/N and believed that she was alive, hoping that Abby and Jackson somehow fixed her after she was exposed from radiation. Even though there was a possibility that I would never see her again, I couldn't be with Emori knowing that my heart belonged to someone else.
But that wasn't enough for Emori, I still hurt her. She would've rather had me fake it than leave her.
'John... why her, why not me?'
'I don't know, Emori. I loved you and I'll always love you. We had our great times but I'm in love with Y/N and I think I've always have been. I'm sorry I don't have an explanation for that.'
Emori shocked her head, it seemed like tears were falling but she was trying to hide it. 'Pathetic, you should've told me this when we broke up.'
'You walked away from me when I wanted to talk to you, don't blame this on me.'
'I just wanted you to fight for me. I'd thought that if I walked away, you'd realize what you had lost.'
The past few years, Emori acted as though the break up didn't hurt her. She was good at hiding it, I never thought that she was feeling this way. 'I'm sorry, Emori. I-I don't know what to say.'
‘It’s... fine. You’ve said enough.’ Emori walked away from me, left to the room where Russell, Simone, Shaw and Abby entered. Sighing, I went back to the room I came from.
Joining in their circle, Echo raised her eyebrows. ‘Your best friend, Russell went the other way Murphy.’
‘I’m not a part of this nor did I agree to this. I didn’t know Emori was going to make a deal with him.’
Talking quietly amongst ourselves, Y/N looked at me. ‘You are a part of it because you didn’t say shit to back us up. This is on you and Emori.’
'I thought you said not to associate them?' Madi looked up at Y/N, I didn't quite understand what she meant by that.
'Madi-' Y/N huffed and pulled her closer, whispering something in her ears.
It stung me that Y/N felt that way about me, there was anger and hatred behind her eyes as she looked at me. This was all my fault so she wasn’t to blame at all, although I was bothered that Emori had dragged me into this. It was the fact that I didn’t do anything about it.
‘Y/N, can we talk in private please?’
‘Do you seriously think now is a good time?’
Bellamy bit his lips and stared at the floor. I bet he was amused at this, watching Y/N and my relationship crumble down. Not only did it hurt me that Y/N was upset with me, Bellamy was getting too comfortable and that irritated me.
Raven looked at Y/N, then me. Her eyes said it all, "give her some space." I rolled my eyes, frustrated in myself and how stupid I've been the last few days.
'So later is now, Murphy. Are you going to answer my question?' Jackson had sensed Y/N wasn't happy with me, assuming that she didn't want to speak and instead changed the subject.
'Like I said earlier, Emori made a deal with Russell. I realize once that he had took everyone else except me and her, that she had some sort of new plan that involved me.'
Y/N's POV;
John irritated me. Just everything made me mad, it was betrayal and I felt as though he took his ex's side over mine. Not that I was more important, knowing that we didn't put a label on our relationship. I just expected more but perhaps I was overthinking.
He claimed that Emori orchestrated everything and I believed him, but I was still mad at him. Call me selfish but couldn't quite forgive him just yet.
I've even told Madi after she had tried to use my words against me; I simply told her that it was different. She replied back with "how?"
The girl was too smart because she was right, it wasn't different. I was too stubborn to admit to her and she knew that because she smirked back at me. She was quite the cheeky one, Clarke did something right for once.
'So back to the plan?' Miller ignored Murphy, 'How are we going to stop Russell from getting the nightblood?'
'There's only a few guards, we can easily take them.' Echo said.
'Yeah but if they fire their guns, it's over. Russell's going to find out we're resisting and can kill us. We need to find another way.' I replied back.
It would've been easy to take them down if it wasn't for their weapons, that'll notify Russell and all of our effort would be for nothing. Instead, I thought of a better plan; Something that can work but I needed this little one to agree with me.
As I looked over at Madi, I smiled. She crinkled her brows in response. 'What?'
'Are you up for a challenge? I think I have a plan that can work.'
'Of course, what do you want me to do?'
✤ · ✤ · ✤ · ✤ · ✤
'It's been a while since Madi had gone, you think she's okay?' Jackson whispered to us, trying to make sure the guards wouldn't hear us talking.
'She's led Wonkru through the gorge, she'll be fine.' Echo reassured us, not that I was worried. I trusted her with everything, especially with her helping us after Wonkru had fallen when Octavia and I fucked everything up.
Our plan was to have Madi crawl into a vent to get some of the criminals out to help us. Since the vent was too small for any of us to fit, she was a perfect candidate for this plan. Echo and Raven had a fake argument to distract the guards while we helped Madi into the vent.
It had been about fifteen minutes since then, waiting patiently for Madi to come back with help. John would look at me from time to time, figured he was trying to find the right timing to come to talk to me.
Of course I wanted to talk to him too, try to go back to how things were before but given the fact that we were in a life or death situation right now, I had to concentrate. Not only that but I was also feeling a bit of jealousy about him and Emori.
Not going to lie, that was main the reason why I didn’t want to talk to him just yet but I wasn't going to admit that.
‘How are you holding up?’ Bellamy scooted closer to me as I was leaning against the wall. ‘Still want to keep Russell alive?’
Raising my brows, I stared at him with a confusing look. He chuckled lightly. ‘I was kidding, sorry.’
‘You’re funny but Russell was not what I had in mind.’ There was no way I was going to tell him that it was John that crossed my mind, we didn't need a real argument to start at this moment.
‘Yeah I figured but I-I just didn’t know what to say to you. It felt like it had been so long since we had a decent conversation with each other.’
I had to admit, it was cute seeing Bellamy acting shy and awkward. Or maybe perhaps the argument that I had with John was making me see Bellamy in a different way again. I didn’t like it, the way my heart would switch between the two, it wasn’t fair for them and it sure as hell was not fair for me either. Already having so much to deal with, I didn’t want my love life to be more complicated than it already was.
Just as I was about to reply to Bellamy, a noise came from the electrical doorway that was locking us in. Everyone in the room including the guards turned to face that direction, getting ready for whoever was trying to come in.
After that noise was just pure silence, it was as if everyone was holding their breath. That wasn't until a few moments later, the door opened widely, revealing Madi and several armed criminals standing behind her.
‘Put down your weapons, it’s over.’ Madi walked in, ‘You shoot and you are all dead including your precious Primes.’
‘That’s my girl.’ I smiled, approaching Madi while the rest of the criminals worked their way to the guards, tying their hands with the ropes that were used on us earlier. 'Any signs of Russell?'
‘Nope, I don't think him and his wife suspected a thing.’ She grinned back, giving me a high five. ‘You are forgetting something though.’
‘What do you mean?’
She turned around and pointed behind her, where Marcus was standing by the door way with a huge smile on his face. He looked perfectly healthy, as if the surgery and the incident never happened. He waved his hand, greeting me. ‘Hey monkey.’
Instantly I ran off to hug him, jumping onto him as I wrapped my arms tightly around him. ‘Sorry, I know you’re hurt and all but I couldn’t help it.’
‘No, it’s fine.’ I felt his breath on my neck as he lightly laughed, ‘I don’t care about that at all. I’m just glad to see you again kiddo.’
Burying my face into his shoulder, I started to cry. With everything that was happening from Russell’s murder to my problems with Bellamy and John, I was so glad to see Marcus again. ‘I’m glad to see you too.’
He cupped my face, wiping the tears off my cheeks with his thumbs. 'We're going to help our people, together this time.'
It was nice to have Marcus back on his two feet, I was more happy that he was by my side this time. 'Sounds like a plan.'

I Told You You’d Cry—Jasper Jordan
Pairing: Jasper Jordan x genderneutral!reader
Trigger warning: Injured Jasper, near death
Fandom: The 100
Genre: Bit of fluff, mostly angst
Requested: No
Word count:
Summary: Y/n hasn’t slept for a week, too worried about her injured best friend, cursing herself because he was right all along. She would cry if he died.
*Gif not mine*
Italics = memory
“Y/n do something!” “Would you shut up for a second, Monty? Clarke, find me a wash cloth.” You said, eyes glued to Jasper’s injury engulfed body. A cough wracked his fragile form, and your brow furrowed. Clarke sprinted quick as quicksilver out of the tower your were huddled in with Monty and a barely breathing Jasper Jordan.
“You better wake up goggle boy.” Your voice shook a little as you spoke, he was right after all. You would cry if he died. You’d more than cry, you’d yell, kick, and scream as insanity engulfed you very essence.
“Oh come on, you would. You love me too much not too.” Jasper teased. You threw a small rock at his head, and he swooped left just in time. “Great shot, not as great as me though.” He winked, you laughed.
“Well if you don’t die, we’ll never have to find out, goggle boy.”
You had debated this topic with your best friend innumerable times over the years you’d known each other. He’d do something dumb and potentially life threatening, and tease you about how much you’d cry if he died, you’d deny such things and tell him the you’d never have to find out. Now here he is before you again, about to try and get to Mount Weather with a few other outlaws, doing just the same.
“But what would you do ifI did?” Amusement sparkled in his whiskey coloured eyes, always enjoying your reaction to his taunts.
“Just don’t die, okay?” You groaned. He pulled you into his chest, arms wrapping firmly around your waist, chin resting on top of your head. His hand moved gently through your hair, another thing he always did when the laughter died out, and his emotions were vulnerable.
“All teasing aside though, I wouldn’t leave you like that.” he murmured against you hair. He pulled away enough to look you in the eyes, his way of showing he was sincere. Out of everything so far, this was the riskiest yet. You were back on the ground, exploring completely unknown territory, like the Lewis and Clark expedition on steroids.
“I should hope not.” You smiled gently at him, and he leaned slightly closer to you, forehead bumping yours.
“Could you guys do that after we’ve gotten back from Mount Weather? Come on, Jasper.” Monty rolled his eyes, appearing next to Jasper, trapping his foot impatiently.
“See you soon?”
“See you soon.”
It had been a week. Or maybe less. Or more. You didn’t know what time it was, or whether it was day or night, or how many days or weeks it had been since Bellamy and Clarke had dragged him into the camp. When they’d come back without him the first time, Finn had to lock you in the tower so you wouldn’t go bolting out of the camp, and as it turns out they found your a attachment to Jasper a liability and didn’t let you out until they came back. At least they were letting you treat him now.
Plenty of your time was spent sending Clarke or Octavia into the forest to get plants and test them out on yourself to see if they were poisonous or not. A few had made you seriously ill, and you’d gone outside briefly so you didn’t infect Jasper, but no plants had been fatal, and most had proven relatively helpful. The others told you every day “you need to hurry, someday Bellamy’s going to take the snap” and he would, you were sure, but you would buy yourself as much time as you could muster to keep Jasper alive.
You hadn’t cried yet, you wouldn’t let yourself, that would mean admitting he had died. If you started to get chocked up, you’d snapped your eyes shut and force fond memories of your best friend into you mind, blocking out the version of him that was sitting with a dying pulse on the metal floor in front of you.
It was miraculous frankly that you hadn’t swallowed your own tongue yet, with only about an hour and a half of sleep each day, anyone else would have, but anyone else was not you. You had a better reason to stay awake than they did, you only wish Jasper did too.
Peeking open eyes, you gazed at his face. His face was pinched like he was having a nightmare, and he let out occasional groans of pain, and mumbles of nonsense, though you occasionally caught your name. It shattered your heart, and your hand quickly tangled itself with his.
This time when the tears started to prick your eyes, you let them come. You let them pour down your cheeks like the spray of a geyser. Nothing was stopping you now, and your body quaked with sobs. And then a hand squeezed yours.
Your head snapped up, gazing at the now very much conscious Jasper. Your free hand covered your mouth, jaw hanging slack.
“I told you you’d cry.” he rasped, a small grin tugging at his chapped lips.
“Oh my god.” you whispered, curling you knees into you chest, and gently brushing his hair out of his face.
“That’s my job.” he protested meekly, narrowing his eyes in protest, clearly yearning to swat your hand away.
“I don’t care, all I care about is you right now, okay? I’m never letting you go anywhere without me ever again, I’m going to make sure this never happens to you more than once, it shouldn’t have happened at all! God, what if you really had died? There’s no one more important to me, and I’m sorry I never told you, but I’m in love with you, I have been for years, and what if you’d died and I never got to—”
“Shh,” Jasper whispered, his expression softened even more if that was possible, hand shakily battling its way towards you to cup your cheek, thumb weakly wiping away the new wave of tears that had begun to fall. “It’s okay, I love you too you know.”
“Really?”
“Really.”

Bellamy Blake Imagine ~ Reunited
Summary: (request) You were dating Bellamy up in the Ark and haven’t seen each other since you got locked up. Now that you’re back on the ground, you finally reunite.
Words: 1820
Warnings: fluff, a bit of angst, some language
a/n: I absolutely loved writing this. Thank you so much for requesting! I hope this is something like what you had in mind <3
~ Italics symbolize flashbacks ~
You sigh as you wake up in your cell. Another fucking day of this torture. Looking at yourself in the mirror, you see the tear-stains on your cheeks and your matted hair. Ever since you got locked up all those months ago, you haven’t been sleeping. It was so fucking stupid. All you wanted was some extra medicine for your mother. She’d been sick for a while and the rations were spread too thin and she works so hard to help you, you thought you’d get away with it. But you tripped the alarm on your way out of med bay and the guards got to you before you even had a chance to say goodbye to her. Or him. Him.
Bellamy arrived at your door as you sat in the corner, reading one of the mythology stories he lent you. You immediately jumped up and ran into his arms. He chuckled, catching you against him as you wound your arms around each other.
“How was your shift?” You ask, knowing how hard he works as a guard.
“It was alright. I’m tired, though. They’ve been riding my ass lately, something about increasing security protocols. I don’t know.” He sighs, frustrated. You frown. You hate the pressure they put on him. You know he’s reliable and takes his job seriously, but that doesn’t mean they need to put all the responsibility on him.
He sees you upset and his gaze softens. He sighs gently. “I missed you, beautiful.”
Ever since you were locked away, you hoped one day he would show up at your cell. He hadn’t, but not for a lack of trying. You knew that he tried, every day to get to you, just to see you again and make sure you were okay. But the Ark had him on watch, afraid he would do something stupid like try and break you out. So they monitored him constantly. You were glad he at least had the sense to listen. The last thing you could bear is something happening to Bellamy.
“Holy shit, Y/N”
You gently bunched your fingers in the dress you were wearing. It was the only one you had and you weren’t used to wearing it. Nice clothing was such a luxury, you were amazed you had saved enough to even buy this semi-clean, hole-ridden one.
You looked down at yourself and fidgeted with your hands anxiously. “That bad?” You ask, cheeks heating up
“Oh, fuck, no! Babe, you look incredible. I mean, you always look incredible. But tonight you look really, really incredible.” Bellany was rambling. He hated that you didn’t see yourself the way he saw you and spent everyday helping you with your confidence.
You finally look up at him and smile, starting to believe his words. “Thank you, Bell” You whisper softly as he comes up next to you, gently grabbing your hands in his and pressing a gentle kiss to them.
The hoard of guards took you out of your thoughts. Okay, what the fuck is going on? You only saw one guard a day and he brought you food twice, that was it. There were never five guards at once, barreling toward each cell. They break through your door, running toward you and harshly grabbing your arms. You frantically look at them, hoping Bellamy is one of them, but quickly realize he isn’t.
“What the fuck? What are you doing? Where are you taking me?!” You yell frantically, flailing and kicking as they drag you out of your cell. What if they’re going to float me? They might be overpopulated and need to get rid of the juveniles in the SkyBox. It wouldn’t be too far of a reach. Oh shit, what if something happened to my mom? Is that why they’re taking me out??
Eventually they bring you to a strange-looking ladder, leading up to who knows where. They harshly push you up, as more and more prisoners are filing in behind you. Getting lost in the crowd, you have no choice but to climb up and find yourself on a ship. You are pushed toward an empty seat and sit down, instinctively strapping yourself in. You try and calm your breathing, having no idea what’s about to happen to you. Looking around, you recognize some of your old classmates and others who were in the Sky Box with you. It gives you a small piece of comfort that they all seem as confused as you are.
You’re jolted from your seat as the ship takes off and realize you’re falling. You hear whispers and realize that holy shit, they’re sending you to the ground.
You hit the ground less-than-graciously and look down at the bracelet those guards must have strapped on you when they pulled you from your cell. Still confused, you move to stand up, your legs still shaky and breathing uneven from the complete stress of the day. You think about your mother and Bellamy, the two most important people in your life who you will probably never see again. You feel the tears rising up and fight to keep them at bay. This is now about survival and you won’t make it if you spend every day living in the past.
You almost pass out when you hear that voice. “If the air’s toxic we’re all dead anyway,” Someone says. And that voice could only belong to him. It could only ever be Bellamy’s. But how the hell is this even possible? He’s not here, he wasn’t in the skybox. Fuck your brain for playing tricks on you. You know you’ve been thinking about him constantly, but a hallucination is just plain cruel.
The doors open and everyone runs outside. They yell and scream, breathing in the air as they discover they survived. You walk out, hoping the air will clear your head, but you’re still having trouble. Because it can’t be him. Right?
Regardless, you need to see for yourself. You hastily push through the crowd and your knees almost give out when you see him. Your hand goes up to your mouth, eyes filling with tears as the raw emotion of seeing the love of your life for the first time in months hits you. He catches your eye and his face pales. He blinks, unsure if you’re real.
You run to him faster than you’ve ever moved before. You don’t care if you’re pushing someone over. You don’t care if you take up all the oxygen in the world. You don’t care if you die in two minutes, so long as you can touch him one more time. You don’t care about anything else but him, him, him.
You collide with his chest and jump up, legs wrapping around his strong frame. You bury your face in his neck, hot tears sliding down your face. His hands are grabbing your arms, your back, your hair as he feels you and realizes you’re really here. You pull back and so does he, breathless smiles and tears running down both your faces. His arms are now under your thighs, supporting you.
“I thought I would never see you again” You whisper, crying harder.
“Princess, you could never get rid of me that easy” He whispers back, pulling you closer than you previously thought was humanly possible.
He gently sets you down and you collapse into his chest, your head spinning.
“Fuck, I missed you” You say.
“I missed you too. God, I missed you. I tried to get to you, I promise I tried. I’m so sorry. They took you away and I didn’t know and I tried. Every day, every night, every second I wasn’t with Octavia or my mother I was looking for you. Even when I was with them, you were always with me. I- I should have been faster, I should have protected you. Y/N, please, I’m so sorry.”
You shake your head quickly, “Bell, don’t blame yourself. Please, don’t do that to yourself. It was my choice to take that medicine, not yours. And I know you tried. Never for a second did I doubt you. And you were with me too. I couldn’t have made it through without keeping the hope alive that I would see you again. But then they took me and I thought I was going to die and I wasn’t going to say goodbye without telling you I loved you one more time.” Your voice breaks, the emotion overtaking you.
Bellamy’s heart shatters. He’s always hated seeing you cry, seeing the pain you’re going through. All he ever wanted to do was make it better. “Hey, hey, hey. Baby, it’s okay now. I’m here and you’re here and we’re okay. Y/N we're on Earth and we’re alive. That’s pretty fucking incredible”
“Leave it to us, huh?” You say, laughing gently.
He smiles and kisses you, deep and strong. Once again, the world fades and it’s just the two of you. You breathe into each other and pour everything into the kiss. All the feelings of doubt, pain, hurt, love, hope, happiness, and relief of the last months are desperately conveyed into this one, single embrace.
You pull away and look at him, worried.
He looks at you quizzically. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, God, nothing. I have everything I could possibly want. But it’s just hitting me. Bell, what are we going to do? We’re just a bunch of kids, criminals, on Earth. There’s no society, no rules, no food, no shelter, no water. How are we going to survive?” You say, brain scrambling at about a million thoughts a second.
He places his hands on your shoulders, comforting, but firm. Whenever you started to fall into an overthinking spiral, Bellamy grounded you.
“Hey, hey. Breathe with me. It will be okay. We’ll figure it out, it’s what we’ve always done. Y/N, you’re brilliant. I’m sure you’ll come up with wonderful ideas to help us. You always do. And we have survival instincts. It may not look like it now, but I believe in this group. We’re going to need each other to survive and I think they’ll realize that.”
You look at him, feeling slightly better. He always knows what to say to put your mind at ease. You smile, realizing that since you found each other you haven’t kept your hands off each other. Literally. Ever since you ran to him that one time, you’ve been touching. You look at his hands which have now traveled to your arms as he gently caresses them. You softly press your hands to his face, cupping his cheeks as you look at him.
“You are going to be a brilliant leader”
“And I will have the most amazing person in the world right next to me.”
“Obviously. I’m not letting you get all the glory, Blake.”
“I would expect nothing less, L/N.”

So in one scene we have Echo stating that if it had been her, Clarke or Octavia who had been killed then Bellamy would be right where she's standing pretty much stating that they're the most important people to him (which is canonically bullshit see Bellamy's approach to Sanctum after Clarke was murdered), and yet all but screamed that Clarke doesn't know Bellamy or what he'd do. So does Echo think Bellarke was one sided or does she not get the difference between knowing and understanding?
+ a different ask that I know was someone else, but relates:
I was seeing gifs of C telling E that B wouldn't want the genocide and E screaming at her that she didn't know what B would want and flashbacks to B telling Rus he'd take his deal instead of revenge because it's what C would want and it just hit me how different the situations are; C was purposefully murdered, the Primes made a choice to erase her no matter the cost. B's death wasn't a choice, it was more an accident, and yet Echo tried to justify murdering hundreds or thousands? Thinks B would?
Bellamy was 100% correct when he said Echo’s loyalty is her weakness. And this assessment may have been given out of anger, but Hope was also 100% correct that Echo was just happy to have someone giving her orders again in Bardo, even if they weren’t orders she had any intention of following.
Echo has no idea who she is outside of her loyalty, and without the guidance that that brings, she’s directionless. Revenge is a direction. Anders provided that, and it’s the one she latched onto.
Let’s briefly circle back to Sky Ring/Penance and the isolation of it all, because it stood out to me as it was unfolding on-screen, but now I have a meta to attach it to.
Octavia spent 10 years in isolation on Penance. In that time, she let go of her rage. She found family in Hope and Diyoza. She built a life that went beyond fighting and survival. She tossed a letter into the lake for Bellamy. She learned how to be happy and at peace with herself despite the circumstances of her existence and Bellamy’s absence.
Clarke spent 6 years and 7 days in isolation on Earth. She spent a couple months struggling to survive in a wasteland before finding Shallow Valley. She found family in Madi. She built a life that went beyond fighting and survival. She called Bellamy every day with no response. She missed him and the hope of seeing him again kept her going, but her happiness wasn't reliant on him alone.
Echo spent 5 years in isolation on Penance. She spent that time with Hope, Gabriel, and Orlando. She trained with them every day. And when it came time to go to Bardo, she killed all the Disciples and left Orlando behind.
Not one of these three women wanted to be in the situation they were in. And sure, I’ll grant that Echo’s situation was slightly different in that Bellamy was kidnapped instead of just not aware of her whereabouts or nebulously absent in space with no idea she was alive.
But Echo didn’t find family in the people she had with her. She had no interest in what they wanted. She didn’t build a life, and she didn’t try to find happiness in those five years. She was only focused on the mission. And once she found out Bellamy was “dead,” any plans they’d had to find Hope’s mom went out the window as far as Echo was concerned.
I don’t think Echo actually thinks that Clarke “has no idea” what Bellamy would want.
When Echo let Hope out of her cell, she described Clarke as “a complication.” She knew that Clarke wouldn’t be okay with what she had planned, which also tells me that Echo knew full well that Bellamy wouldn’t be either.
To borrow my own words from an ask I answered last season:
“When she decides she’s loyal to someone or some group, she throws herself into it, often to a fault. She loses all thought of consequences and sometimes even the desires of the people she’s loyal to. Nia told her to start a war with Lexa, so Echo betrayed Bellamy in the plot to blow up Mount Weather. Echo thought Roan would want the mythical power of Wanheda so she pushed for it and tried to kill Clarke on several occasions, and was genuinely confused when Roan was upset at her. Echo thought that Azgeda should win the bunker, so she cheated in the Conclave and was shocked and upset when Bellamy told Roan and he banished her for it. Echo wanted revenge for Bellamy being left in the fighting pit, so she tried to kill Clarke in front of Madi, without thinking about what Bellamy would want in that situation.”
Echo’s decision to try and genocide Bardo was a selfish one. Pure and simple. She says that outright. It wasn’t about what Bellamy would want. It was about vengeance.
Echo doesn’t think Clarke has no idea what Bellamy would want. She lashed out because she knew Clarke was right, and she's upset that Clarke is actually emotionally capable of following through on what he would want; getting their friends out without unnecessary casualties.
Clarke, to Raven: “We do this for him.”
Which brings us to Bellamy. Who is not actually dead, and has no idea what he’s gonna be walking into.
Bellamy is—and always has been—a man who values and honors the wishes of the people he loves, even when those wishes aren’t what he wants.
Bellamy refusing to kill Russell and take revenge for Clarke’s murder, and making peace instead because it’s what she would’ve done is a huge example. But it’s not the biggest.
Praimfaya gets that title.
The only reason Bellamy didn’t go after Clarke is because she told him it’s not what she wanted. She told him he had to use his head to save their friends, and so that’s what he did.
Raven: “Think we can do this without her?” Bellamy: “If we don’t, she died in vain. And I’m not gonna let that happen.”
There is a fundamental incompatibility here between Bellamy / Clarke’s values and Echo’s that comes down to intent. And it matters.
This “Last War” isn’t a war at all. Foreshadowing was sprinkled all over 7x10. It’s a test of humanity. Not “humanity” as in the human race, but humanity, the value. Benevolence. Compassion. Love.
What you want. What you feel. What you’ve done. What you’ll do. And why.
I’m linking asks I’ve answered in the past that are related to this in the replies in case anyone is interested.

previous chapter // season masterlist // series masterlist
Time passes in the cave slowly as you wait for something to happen. Anything really. But your captivity is largely uneventful after your initial escape. Most of the Children of Gabriel ignore you as they go past, moving in and out of the cave, and only once does one of them interact with you, a few hours into your captivity. She grabs your head and tugs it forward, checking for a mind drive scar, and when she finds none she informs the others and leaves you alone again.
Sometime after dark, something finally starts to happen.
There’s a commotion in the cave, and people rush past you and towards the door, some of them talking about new hostages as they go. You stand, moving as close to the door as you can, eyes trained on it as you await the arrival of whoever else they found. You finally see movement towards the entrance to the cave, and you watch two people being led inside, bags over their heads. You feel your heartbeat quicken, wondering if you know who they are, but you don't have to wonder for long because the taller of the two figures mutters, “I need to see Gabriel.”
You feel a rush of relief, and worry, at the sound of your boyfriend’s voice, and you call out, “Bellamy?”
He calls your name back, and then the bag is pulled off his head, the two of you looking at each other in shock. Bellamy’s face drops when he sees the blood smeared on your face, and you shake your head a little trying to let him know that it’s nothing to worry about. You tug against your chains, trying to reach him, and he launches himself towards you, slipping from his captors grip. He rushes across the cave to you, his arms wrapping around you for half a second before he is yanked away and you’re rewarded with a hard slap. You let out a sound of pain, groaning at the familiar metallic taste washing over your tongue, and you turn and spit the blood from your mouth, before looking up with a glare, eyes landing on the person who slapped you.
You almost roll your eyes when you realize it’s Asher, who now has black warpaint smudged around his eyes. He smiles at you, clearly enjoying his torment of you. “What? Do you have something to say?”
You let your anger get the best of you and you search your head for the nickname used in Sanctum that you’re sure will hurt him, coupled with a reminder of the insult he threw your way before knocking you out. “Yeah, how’d a Null get past the radiation shield anyways? Your red blood isn't good for anything.”
The insult hurts him, as intended, but it earns you another smack, this time accompanied by Bellamy’s struggling cry of protest. You keep your sound of pain at bay this time and turn your glare back to the man, who smirks at you. “I slipped out the same time your boyfriend did, he was just too busy to notice.”
You look at Bellamy, who looks like he has a million things he wants to ask you, but you’re cut off by a voice muttering, “Ew, what’s that smell?”
You look over to the second hooded figure, and watch as they tug the bag off Josephine’s head. She looks around in disgust before her eyes find you, taking in your appearance, and she scoffs, “God, you look like shit.”
Josephine’s presence seems to remind Bellamy that there is more at stake here, and he looks at the man standing beside you. “Which one of you is Gabriel? We have information critical to your cause.”
Josephine laughs, “Their cause is a joke.”
“Quiet!”
But Josephine doesn't stop, she just continues her taunting with a smirk. “Do you think that dressing up in scary costumes helps your cause? We laugh at you in Sanctum.”
“Why aren't you laughing now?”
The same woman from the alleyway, a blonde with warpaint, pulls out a sword and points it at Josephine. She doesn't flinch, but you can see Bellamy start to worry, and he calls out, “Just wait. They can make hosts, as many as they want.”
Asher turns to look at you in shock, Bellamy reiterating the same information you initially offered him, verifying it before your 24 hours is up. You smirk at him a little and mutter, “Told you.”
He glares at you before turning to look at Bellamy. “Details, or your rude friend dies.”
Bellamy shakes his head. “I don't think so.”
The man pulls out your Grounder knife and holds it to your throat, giving Bellamy a sinister smile. “Something tells me we could make you talk.”
“Touch her, and I'll tell you nothing.” You can see Bellamy fighting against his rising anxiety, trying to seem like the one in control, despite the fact that all of you are restrained and you have a knife at your throat for the second time in the last few hours. “You don't have long before the 12 Primes are back. Gabriel gets the details, no one else.”
The man grinds out, “There were 13.” He tosses you to the ground and yells to the others, “Chain them up! If the old man doesn't respond, you die.”
They chain Bellamy to your left and Josephine to your right, and all of you watch as one of the Children of Gabriel grabs a radio and starts to speak into it, walking out the cave as he does. “Jericho to Providence. We have a prisoner that claims Primes can now make hosts. If you're out there…”
You don't hear the rest, the man now out of sight, the rest of the children dispersed, the three of you now alone. You look to the entrance of the cave in confusion, thinking of the failure all of you have had with radios up to this point, a fact that you are well aware of, despite your limited time on this moon. So how come people born and raised here don't know the same fact? You look over at Bellamy, who looks equally confused, and you voice the question you're both thinking. “Radios don't work on this moon, how could they not know that?”
“They work in one place.”
You and Bellamy look over at Josephine, catching onto something in her tone. She leans her head back against the wall, eyes on the ceiling, looking anxious and afraid. “What is it?”
“If they're calling Gabriel, that means he's alive.”
Bellamy, sensing a deeper history, asks, “What's the deal with you two?”
“What? Are we gonna be friends now?”
He lets out a soft snort of laughter, “Doubtful.”
She glances at both of you, taking you in, before she turns away again, focusing her gaze on the wall in front of her. “I've been in love with Gabriel for 236 years, the last 70 of which he's been trying to kill me. You know, relationships.”
You and Bellamy share a look, glad that your relationship hasn't featured any murder attempts. Well, there was an attempt during the eclipse, but that’s not the same thing. You look back to Josephine when you hear a strange tapping sound, your eyes falling to her finger, tapping Morse Code against the cuff. Bellamy and Josephine notice too, and she nods, “Morse code, huh? She's crafty, I'll give her that.”
She focuses on the Morse Code, spelling out the translation as her finger moves. “B-o-o-h-o-o. That's harsh.”
You smile at your twin’s quip, until your brain starts to realize something. You look at Josephine with curiosity, aware that if Clarke is cracking jokes about Josephine’s love life, then she can hear Josephine talking about her love life. “She can hear us?”
“It would seem so, which means the wall separating our minds is almost gone. When that happens, she'll stroke out, I'll download, and you can say goodbye to your genocidal twin.”
“Let me talk to her.”
She gives you a condescending look, “I'd have to give over control for that, so no.”
“But she can hear me?”
“Yes, she can hear you.” She rolls her eyes at you and the hopeful expression on your face. “For God's sake, just say what you want to say.”
You think of all the things you want to say to Clarke, all the things you want to tell her in case you have to say goodbye, but then you realize you don't want to say goodbye. You can’t say goodbye. No matter what it takes, no after what you have to do, you will save your twin's life, the way she has saved yours and countless others on multiple occasions. Which is why you settle on, “I won't let you die.”
You’re serious when you say it, the words a promise to the Universe that you will do what needs to be done. Josephine seems taken aback by your fervor, maybe even a little jealous, but you see her hand absentmindedly rub her wrist, the same wrist that usually holds your twin’s bracelet. You smile for a second, but then the bracelet reminds you of Madi, who is supposed to be here right now. You turn to face Bellamy, fighting back your worry. “Wait, where are the others?”
“Back in Sanctum. Josephine cut Murphy so Emori stayed behind with him, and Echo stayed behind to make sure the others are safe. We never found Madi before we had to leave, and Jackson, Miller, and Jordan were late. We didn't have time to wait because the guards were closing in, so I grabbed Josephine and we escaped.” He moves closer to you, his chains reaching yours, thankfully, allowing the two of you to sit close. His voice drops to a whisper as he lifts his hands to caress your face, finger running across the dried up blood, brows furrowed with worry. “I didn't want to leave you behind, but when you didn't show up and the guards were about to grab us, I thought about what’s best for everyone and decided that saving Clarke is important.”
You smile at him, letting him know you aren’t upset that he left you behind. Because technically you were already out of Sanctum. “You’re right, saving Clarke is important, and it’s exactly what I wanted you to do. Clarke’s trapped in her head and her body is a ticking time bomb. I can take care of myself.”
He smiles at you, eyes falling on the blood again, its presence only further convincing him of what you're saying. “I know you can, because you’re strong. Stronger than any of us.”
The two of you kiss, his touch light and affectionate, but you pull away when someone behind you exclaims, “Oh, barf. Get a room.”
You roll your eyes at Josephine and mutter, “Go float yourself.”
“Funny, your sister said the same thing to me when we first met.”
You ignore her and slide down to the ground, leaning against the wall, and Bellamy does the same, the three of you sitting in silence for a few hours. You see no one in those few hours, and eventually the three of you fall asleep, resting the best you can on the cold hard ground of the cave, with you and Bellamy huddled close to fight off the slight chill in the air.
You wake a few hours later, sometime after sunrise, according to the small amount of light filtering into the cave, and when you open your eyes and look at Bellamy, you find that he’s already looking at you. Despite your circumstances, despite the possibility that you, Clarke, Josephine, and Bellamy could possibly die in a few hours, you feel a rush of peace looking up at his face, and the distinct feeling that everything is right in the world. Bellamy must feel it too, because he leans in to kiss you, soft and sweet, reminding you just how much you love his morning kisses. And his afternoon kisses, and his evening kisses, and his happy kisses, and his sad ones, his comforting ones, his passionate ones. Every kiss from Bellamy is better than the one before it, and you’re sure you could spend your entire life doing nothing but kissing him and you’d still die happy.
Bellamy pulls away and looks down at you with a smile. “To other people, you are the moon. The radiant natshana that lights up even the darkest of nights, but to me, you’re everything. The moon, the sun, the stars. You’re the air I breathe and the love in my heart. You are every leaf, every tree, every moon, planet, and galaxy in this endless Universe. You are everything to me, and you have completely captured my heart from the moment that I met you, though I tried to deny it at first.”
The two of you laugh softly as you remember the animosity that you shared in the beginning. Bellamy starts to sit up, pulling you up with him, both of you turning to face each other as you do. You can tell he has more that he wants to say to you, and though you don't understand why you're getting this declaration of love now, you accept it with a smile. “I have never been loved by someone the way you love me, and I know I’m incredibly lucky that I get to have this. That I get to have you. You have loved me at my best, and you have loved me at my very worst, and even when I am lost and struggling, still you’re there, loving me through it all. You have the biggest heart, one that is so full of love that you are so eager to give, and I love you for that. I love your strength, your vulnerability, your kindness, your beauty. I love everything about you, and I just want to give you the world. I want to protect you, and love you, and make you happy until I draw my last breath. And I’ve been waiting to tell you all of this, waiting for the perfect moment during our new life of peace, but I’m starting to worry that I won’t get that chance. I can't tell you how many times I’ve seen you laying beside me, injured, looking like you’re on the brink of death, and when I couldn't find you yesterday, I nearly lost it. So I’m going to do this while I can, while you’re in front of me, alive and okay.”
He reaches up to push your hair away from your face and you close your eyes and lean into his touch, smiling. When you open your eyes again, his hand is extended between the two of you, a small ring held out in his palm. It’s beautiful; a small round sapphire surrounded by a perimeter of tiny diamonds, all situated on a thin gold band. You look up at Bellamy in shock, his expression one of complete adoration as he whispers, “Will you marry me?”
You look between him and the ring, wondering if he’s joking, but when you meet his eyes again, you can see that he’s completely serious, and still anxiously awaiting your answer. Your face splits into a grin and you practically lunge towards him, pulling him into a hug before peppering kisses all over his face. He laughs, one of those bright pretty ones that you wish you could capture in a bottle and keep forever, and his voice is light with happiness when he says, “I’ll take that as a yes.”
You kiss him softly on the lips, pulling away just enough to whisper, against them, “Yes.”
His smile gets even wider, and he pulls you in for another hug, before leaning back and holding up the ring again. He takes your hand and slides it onto your left ring finger, both of you marveling at the perfect fit. You admire the ring, and the way it looks on your finger, and he whispers, “It was my mother’s.”
You look up at him, your eyes growing wide. “Oh, Bellamy.”
But he smiles, sadness unable to reach him in this moment. “She gave it to me before she was floated, told me to give it to the girl that captures my heart. I didn’t have it when I hopped on the dropship, but when I went back to the ring with the others, I went looking for it. I’ve had it with me everyday since I left you on Earth, carrying it with me to remind myself of the girl that captured my heart.”
You feel tears well up in your eyes, and you start to lean in for another kiss when a voice behind you stops you in your tracks. “Ugh, again? Are the two of you capable of keeping it in your pants long enough for us to get out of here?”
You and Bellamy both cut back, “Shut up, Josephine.”
She holds her hands up in mock surrender before sitting up from her sleeping position, resting her head against the cave wall again. You see a smirk pass over her features and you give her a questioning look. “What?”
“My father was a fool for letting you people stay. All that time spent building a sanctuary for the human race, and he destroys it because of the most human thing of all...love.” She shakes her head before she smirks again, “I mean, who can blame him? I am awesome. It's just…”
She trails off, looking at you and Bellamy, still pressed close together. “Well, one look at the two of you, and he should have known how this would end. Guess I'm just saying all this because I know so much about both of you now.”
You nod your head, giving her a sarcastic look. “Oh, you do, huh?”
She hums in agreement, looking between you and Bellamy again. “Take the three of you, for instance. Now that's a weird relationship, isn't it? First, the twins hate each other when they land on Earth, and then Bellamy wants to kill both of you just to save his own ass, even though it means the genocide of your own people on the Ark. Then you two shack up, and Bellamy and Clarke become besties, all of you bonding over the actual genocide at Mount Weather.”
She lifts her hand, pretending to push a fake lever, “Together.”
You roll your eyes as she continues on, “Bellamy locks her up, she locks you both up, he leaves you and Clarke on Earth, she leaves you both to die in the fighting pits. I mean, it's exhausting, frankly.”
You snort, “Tell me about it.”
Bellamy leans his head against the wall, turning his gaze away from her. “You're wrong about how this ends, by the way. First, we get you back into your mind drive, and then we'll use it for a peace deal with your father.”
“Your belief in yourself is cute. But unfortunately, putting aside about a thousand variables, chief among them Clarke's newfound evangelical, do better-ism, making it impossible for her to accept a peace deal with those awful body snatchers, all four of us are gonna die in this cave.”
Bellamy nods, convinced that this is not where your story ends. “Yeah, okay. We'll see.”
She turns to glare at him, “Okay, now your confidence is just pissing me off.”
Bellamy looks at her like he’s about to respond, but suddenly the energy in the room changes. Seconds later you can hear the sound of approaching voices, and all three of you stand, looking towards the entrance to the cave. Asher comes in first, leading the rest, and he points his sword at you, commanding, “Gag the prisoners.”
He yells into the cave, for the others hidden deep inside, “Everybody up! The Sanctum riders are coming!”
You and Bellamy exchange a look as a few of the guards walk over to you, ready to gag you. They head to Josephine first, grabbing her harshly to hold her still, but she fights against them, yelling, “Get away from me!”
One of the men hits her hard and she falls to the ground. When they pull her back to her feet, a small line of black blood drips from her mouth, giving her status away. You whisper, “Shit.”
Chaos erupts after that, and the blonde woman starts to yell, “She's got the blood! She's got the blood!”
Asher comes over and looks at Josephine, eyeing the blood dripping from her mouth. “Put her on her knees.”
You know what’s gonna happen next, because they did the same thing to you hours ago. You look at Bellamy in alarm before turning and yelling, “Leave her alone!”
They force her to her knees and lift her hair, revealing the short scar on the back of her neck. Your stomach drops as they announce to the group, “She's a Prime! Unchain her, put her there.”
Asher motions to a flat rock nearby, and they unchain Josephine and drag her over to it, ignoring your begging, “Don't do this, please!”
Bellamy adds, “The drive in her head, it's Josephine!”
The name seems to make things worse, because the guard at Josephine’s back shoves her forcefully down, pressing her face into the rock. She mutters, “Not helping.”
“Think! As long as she's alive, you have leverage over Russell!”
Asher looks at Bellamy, his expression neutral, clearly not swayed by the thought of leverage. “This is not a negotiation, it's a war. The answer is Death to Primes!”
You and Bellamy watch in horror as he lifts his sword, fully intending to bring it down and chop off your twin's head, killing her once and for all. You rack your brain trying to think of anything to save her, and as you watch the sword start to lower, Josephine yells out, “Wait!”
The sword freezes in midair, and she exclaims, “Gabriel loves her. Is this what he would want?”
Her? The word hits you like a freight train, and you look at the blonde on the rock with a smile, hoping that the hunch you have is correct. You watch as she turns and kicks the leg of the man holding her in place, breaking it in half. He cries out in pain and releases her, giving her just enough time to dodge the sword that comes down onto the rock, missing her head by inches. She uses Asher’s surprise to grab him and swing him towards the rock, slamming his head into it and dropping him to the ground. Then she takes his sword and kills the man that is running to meet her, leaving only the blonde woman that you first met in Sanctum. But she makes quick work of her too, slicing her throat with the sword, stepping around the fallen body to look at you and Bellamy.
You look at her with a smile of realization, recognizing your twin anywhere. “Clarke?”
She smiles at you, “La lune.”
She bends down and grabs a set of keys as Bellamy looks at her in shock, “She gave you control?”
“It was either that or get her head cut off.”
She runs towards you, fumbling with the ring of keys, trying to find the one that fits your restraints. Deeper in the cave, the other Children of Gabriel have been alerted to your attempts at freedom, and you all look towards the sound of the approaching voices, watching shadows as they bounce off the wall, running closer. “I heard something! This way.”
You close your hands over Clarke’s, stilling her movements, “We don't have time, you have to run!”
“No!” She shakes her head hard, her expression pulling into one of desperation. “I'm not leaving you.”
“You have to! We’re running out of time. Go find Gabriel, we’ll come find you.”
She looks like she wants to argue, but the approaching voices continue to grow louder, and she knows you're right. She slips the keys into your hand, before wrapping one hand around yours and reaching out to wrap one hand around Bellamy’s. “Congratulations. I love you both.”
You smile at her briefly, the expression dropping when the voices are right around the corner, “Go! Now!”
She nods and gives you one last look before turning and running away, straight out of the cave and into the woods. Seconds later a group of people runs past you, heading outside as Asher yells at them, “It's Josephine Prime. Kill her before she gets to the rise. Do not let them get her back to Sanctum! Go!”
They all file out of the cave, leaving their injured leader behind, and you turn to Bellamy, who is looking at you with worry. “What now?”
“Now,” you open your palm, letting the handcuff keys hang down into view, giving him a mischievous grin as you do, “We get the hell out of here.”
He grins back at you, ready to raise hell with his fiance, ready to escape this cave and make things right.
Ready to show the Primes, and the Children of Gabriel, that they picked the wrong group of people to mess with.

Post Arkhelios
This was all too much for Wanda to process. She had to call Melvin! Finally some justice could be found for at least one Arkhelios murder. Kamalani had shot Roman. If the bullets matched, it was reasonable to assume that she had killed Abraham as well. Her motive was still unclear, but Wanda had practically overheard a confession, and one that incriminated her mother in law as well.
Wanda grabbed the phone in the room she was hiding in and dialed her brother's number. Cell phones weren't allowed in the hospital for safety reasons, so she would have to whisper on the phone rather than text.
Melvin answered his phone, and Wanda hoped the landline phone would be quiet enough not to carry out into the hall.
"Melvin, you need to get to Oriana's immediately," she whispered. "Abe is the next victim, you need to get him to somewhere safe right now."
Wanda was immediately cut off by the sound of screaming. She slammed the phone down and took off towards Roman's room, followed by several nurses, and the no longer sleeping male Bellamys.
What Wanda saw broke her heart. Roman was awake in bed, trying desperately to inch further and further away from Malika, who was trying in vain to comfort him.
"Roman, it's me, Grandma." Malika said sweetly. "It's okay now, I found you. You're in the hospital."
Roman's eyes were wide and full of fear. He looked exhausted from the combination of pain and all the pain killers he'd been given. He tried to speak but the words slurred together making them unintelligible.
“Roman, you probably don’t remember things clearly right now. That’s sometimes how trauma works. Your brain is trying to protect itself, but you’re safe here.”
Kamalani stroked Roman’s hair in a loving, motherly way, and Roman froze in place at her touch, terrified to move. Wanda pushed the two women aside, earning her death glares from both.
“We’re all here to support you,” she stated firmly. “My brother will be here soon, and we’ll get a statement from you when you’re ready, so we can find who did this to you.”
Kamalani’s face revealed nothing at this, while Malika was looking paler than usual. Wanda took Roman’s hand in hers and gave it a comforting squeeze.
“We’ll all stay here with you until Melvin arrives. We won’t let anyone hurt you, you’re safe.”
True to her word, Wanda and Malika stayed at Roman’s side. The nurses had come in to request that some people leave to not overcrowd Roman, so Kamalani, Omar and Salem had gone home to get some sleep and eat.
Malika hadn’t acknowledged that Wanda was in the room with her. She flipped through an old magazine, while Wanda watched Roman sleep. He had succumbed to unconsciousness long before Kamalani and the others left, but he had moments when he would briefly wake, look around in terror, and tremble before losing consciousness again. Wanda hoped that her presence was comforting to him, knowing that he wasn’t alone with the grandmother who was trying to gaslight him into forgetting her part in his shooting.
An hour after Wanda called Melvin, he showed up to the hospital, looking very much like the determined detective he always wanted to be.
“Everyone vacate this room immediately!” he announced, waving the women out with his hands. “This is police business now, and I need the room to collect evidence.”
The last thing Wanda wanted was to go home and try to fit in with the Bellamys and their (mostly) fake grief. While Melvin was with Roman, she decided to visit Elaine and Abe to follow up.
Elaine looked exhausted. Abe sat on the couch in the living room, propped up with pillows, and surrounded by empty glasses of what looked to be water still left on the bottom of the cup. Everyone looked at Wanda with clear apprehension. Once she explained that she was there to see how she could safeguard Abe, and not to spy for the Bellamys, the Helios family seemed to relax. Wanda explained everything from the weird text message that had lured Roman away, to overhearing the plot to kill Abe. If the Helios’ had looked tired and stressed before, this news had multiplied that.
“Can I see him?” Abe asked cautiously. “If you’re there to prevent anything from happening, I’d be safe to see him right?”
It couldn’t hurt. As long as the Bellamys are at home. Otherwise, this is their exact plan to get to Abe.
“I think so,” she answered. “But not for too long. Melvin should be able to keep them busy for a while.”
Wanda grabbed Abe’s hand and teleported them from the house to the hospital. She was accomplished enough to teleport two sims, even one who was pregnant. Abe didn’t know how Ulyssa or Roman handled teleportation. It made him more nauseous than the morning sickness. Wanda had filled her brother in on Abe’s short visit, and sent him on his way to interview the Bellamy family to get statements. He would take as long as he possibly could.
Wanda looked at Abe, who stood spellbound staring at Roman. It had to be upsetting to see Roman like that. She would be devastated if it were Hunter.
“He’s been sleeping a lot, but I’m sure he’ll be glad to see you when he wakes up,” Wanda explained. Abe looked nervously at his unconscious boyfriend, taking in the evidence remaining of tubes and wires that had been used to keep him alive. He was still so pale, but Abe could see Roman’s chest rising and falling steadily. He really was alive.
Abe sat next to the bed, and reached for Roman’s hand. Roman began to stir.
“Roman? It’s me, Abe.” He rubbed his hand gently, and Roman’s eyes began to open.
“Abe?”
Wanda smiled and went to leave the room.
“I’ll give you some privacy to catch up,” she said, pulling the door closed behind her. “I’ll be in the hall the entire time, so don’t worry.”
As soon as the door closed, Roman weakly pulled Abe onto the bed with him, hugging him as tightly as he could, and then wincing when he did. There was an awkward shuffle of arms and legs, and bending to avoid bruises but eventually Roman was holding Abe in his arms and all was right with the world once more.
“You’re here,” Roman murmured, running his hands all over Abe to confirm it. “I thought you were dying. I thought....” He trailed off so softly, Abe wondered if he’d gone back to sleep. He squeezed Roman’s arm reassuringly.
“I’m here,” he replied. “I’m not going anywhere ever again. Every time I let you out of my sight you end up doing something stupid or reckless. What kind of example are you going to set for our kid if you’re always in some kind of trouble?”
Roman started trembling at this, for reasons Abe didn’t understand.
“I was just teasing you,” he said. “It’s okay. I know you thought I’d lost the baby, Wanda told me everything. Everything is completely fine.”
Roman shook his head groggily. This was important to say, but the painkillers kept dragging him back to sleep.
“They...they want...Helios...shouldn’t...they want....”
Abe brushed the loose hair from out of Roman’s eyes and watched him struggle to get out the words he was desperately trying to say.
“It’s okay,” he promised. “You can tell me later, I’m not going anywhere.”
He shifted to a sitting position and leaned Roman’s unconscious body against him for support. Abe could feel the rising and falling of Roman’s chest against his shoulder. He closed his eyes knowing that Wanda was safely near by to protect them, and for the first time in days, began to relax.
