1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?I think the first thing I had in my mind was her backstory. Since her original was circled around Attack on Titan, I wanted to create her in a way that she could naturally blend in without overly standing out. I had to be careful with what to do, so I just made her someone who could’ve been in the background the entire time. Her appearance was kind of automatic especially with her name. I wanted her to look pure enough, but also be really into fighting at the same time. So her name is in the end a bit of a misnomer especially on Sinday Sundays.

3. How did you choose their name?Well believe it or not, the names are always the hardest over the appearance. While I wanted the appearance to match her name, I was actually thinking back because I vaguely remember hearing a name I liked, as it turned out I had thought back to the Beauty and the Beast Christmas movie they put out a while back. You know, the one with the little angel decoration with a bit of an attitude? That Angelique? Yeah...believe it or not THAT’S where I thought the name riveting. Last name just seemed to fit, though it’s difficult to pronounce, it kind of fits with the angelic theme around her.

4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?I think the most influential part she played in was the training camp and the graduation. After that she had no real influential parts in the main story. I would love to get into the threads, but that would make this part too long so we’ll stick to the main storyline.

8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?Well, I’ll be honest, I put little bits of me in all the OCs I make, it drove a friend of mine absolutely nuts, but that’s neither here nor there. But if I were to really relate to her, it’s the love to sing while she’s alone and gets really embarrassed if discovered.

13. How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?I’ve never been able to extend it far, since Attack on Titan was still on going. At best, I would think she would die somewhere close to the climax if that’s worth anything. If she ends up surviving, she’ll need a hell of a lot of therapy...and one hell of a vacation.

15. What is something about your OC can make you laugh?It’s always the way she wants to try and make the person smile or laugh themselves. Angelique is not a born goofball, she’s not good at flirting, but if a bad pick up line is what it takes for her to make a person laugh I’m all for it. That and maybe sometimes during embarrassing situations.

18. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?She is an extrovert, which says a lot considering I’m on the fence extrovert, but lean more towards introvert. Angelique will sometimes literally say anything that comes from the top of her head. Let’s just say she has zero brain to mouth filter sometimes and if the person ends up not liking it she ends up feeling really bad and tries to make it up to them. She’s really just a friendly person, but she sometimes the things she says doesn’t correspond with the saying of the room.
