itsyn_ln thank you for this opportunity! now i need to figure out how to make orange look good on me
→ mclaren everything looks good on you
username1 wait, what? she’s oscar’s public enemy #1 and now she’ll be his teammate?
oscarpiastri and this is how i find out?
→ mclaren we didn’t want to give you a chance to protest
→ pierregasly i knew before oscar did? ha!
→ oscarpiastri don’t make me still target the pink car next year
→ itsyn_ln i’m feeling unwanted
jackdoohan @/itsyn_ln thanks for the seat
→ itsyn_ln i hope i kept it warm for you!
username2 poor osc is going to have to learn to manage this oddness
→ username3 poor osc is probably more focused on having to learn not to strangle her
alpinef1team losing another driver to the sinister evil and orange team
→ itsyn_ln at least you’ll miss me. i’m starting to think pierre lied when he said he would
→ pierregasly of course i did. you were staring straight at me without blinking
username4 don’t get me wrong, i can’t wait to see yn in a better car but i fear this was poor planning on mclaren’s part. they’re going to struggle with managing their drivers
landonorris i’m sorry, osco. i didn’t know me leaving was going to lead to this
→ oscarpiastri you’re not forgiven.

username9 wtf was that
username10 i can’t decide which one of them was robbed more
username11 so they want them to become friends but then force them to concede wins???
username12 i never want to hear the phrase ‘papaya rules’ again. idk what it means but i know it was shit
username13 the fact that neither of them have interacted with this post shows that they’re not happy with their 1-2
username14 you guys need to chill. they were coming under fire from max, and yn was faster. oscar was holding her up and if they hadn’t have switched, max could’ve had them both
→ username15 there was two laps left. i’m sure they could’ve managed it
→ username14 did you not see all the purple sectors max was setting
username16 i hope oscar doesn’t blame yn for this
username17 unrelated but i love how much shorter yn is than osc in this pic. they’re so cute

SYPNOSIS ; g/n reader x sparring partner! bakugou, fluff, not proofread .. matching bracelets , enjoy ! xoxo, jord .ᐟ
A/N; this was supposed to be a lil drabble but this came out longer than i intended .. anywaayss. I PROOOMISEEE im gonna start posting more i’ve disappeared for sosososso long.. in the meanwhile take this, luv u guys !!!!!
sparring partner! bakugou that swears he only bugs you 24/7 to “get your ass to training grounds” because you need to improve. no other reason because of course, he cant stand you.. or anything about you, for that matter.
so no, it doesnt “mean” anything when sparring partner! bakugou comes up from behind you to, “fix” your form. adjusting you by signaling you to rotate to the side by giving your hips a little push, nudging your elbows up so your face is protected by your hands.
sparring partner! bakugou who always insists to be near you, discreetly, if he can. because he obviously doesnt want it to seem like he cares, because he doesnt. even during training or maybe even an attack on the school? near you. covering you and making sure warn you of the sneak attacks from behind you.
and even though you practically hate sparring with him, because hes so damn ruthless, ensuring a trip to recovery girl by the end of it, its weirdly the highlight of your days. hearing the ding! of your phone, followed by the usual message from him.
: training grounds. 5 mins
even when its five in the goddamn morning. you never fail to meet him there.
and after a small while of this cycle, you make the (probably) safe assumption you guys are, friends? acquaintances?..hell, maybe you were even on kirishima’s level of ‘friend’. toleratable? at the least.
so while on one of your free days afterschool, youre shopping with the bakusquad. mina, jirou, denki, sero, kirishima, and obviously, bakugou. god knows how they convinced him to tag along.. you get lost in a cute little merch store, spotting matching all might bracelets. ew, corny. who would even get those?
ca—ching! “aaand heres your change, have a nice day!”
you would.
though, you probably shouldve thought this out.. who were you gonna match with? ofcourse, it could always be mina, but she also didnt absolutely fixate on all might. but, there was, one person you had in mind..
and sometime in the week after the hangout, at the end of your—no less than brutal, training session, you tiredly brought it up.
“the other day—while we were at the mall, i saw these matching all might bracelets—“ pant, “i kinda just bought on it on sight, annnd i didnt really think of who to give the other half to before i did.. but i know you like him, so..”
you trail off, simply suggesting it as you move over to sit down on a bench, taking a drink of water, while also, pulling out the bracelets from your pockets and reaching your free hand up to show him.
sparring partner! bakugou scoffs upon seeing the bracelets in your hand. golden age and bronze age all might bracelets.
“thats stupid. im not wearing that shit.” he growls, crossing his arms. his voice a little panted from training. you were getting better. not that he would tell you that directly, of course.
“chill, dynamight.” you roll your eyes playfully, emphasizing his hero name on your tongue. “i was just suggesting it, if you dont want it its fine.” you explain casually. even if, the sentence did hurt your feelings a little.
“ill just give it to izuku.” you shrug, you guys were friends, pretty close if you did say so.
and you almost swear you saw bakugou’s eye twitch. a glint of, jealousy? in his eyes as you bring up the green haired boy’s name.
he lets out an amused huff, rolling his eyes. “tch. whatever, give it to that nerd. not like i care.” before he reaches down next to you for your water bottle, taking a swing, airsip.
setting the bottle back down next to your thigh, he speaks up again. “‘aight, hurry, we arent done. round two.” he adds harshly, motioning with his hand for you to get back up.
“come on. please? one more minute. its so eaarlyyy.” you whine, almost pouty as you throw your head back. still exhausted from the sparring just a few minutes ago. 6am and hes annoyingly productive.
“hurry or i can blast your ass right here.” he glares down at you, grumbling through gritted teeth.
“im getting uupp, geeez.” you groan, lazily getting up from the bench and almost coming up to meet his full height.
later in the day, during class training, you figure you should probably find izuku to give him the other matching half, one already on your wrist.
you couldve sworn you remembered putting it back onto your other wrist so you wouldnt lose it. maybe it was in your dorm instead? whatever, youd just have to give it to him tomorrow.
today, you were working in partners, testing out new possible moves, strengths, weaknesses, and overall just trying to improve on any weak spots.
and like always, sparring partner! bakugou was next to you. basically having claimed you as his designated partner for anything by now, glaring at anyone who even suggested you work with them and not him.
and as your throwing hits at him, trying to catch him off base with your quirk, you notice a glint coming from under his gauntlet, you pause a moment.
its the matching half of your bracelet, all might’s golden age bracelet.
he notices this. feeling his ears dust the slightest pink from, embarrassment? and he uses this moment of weakness to gain the upper hand, pinning you down on the floor.
and youre completely shocked by the sudden move. somehow flipped on your chest to the ground, arms tucked behind your back with his knee holding you down.
“stay focused.” he hisses, reprimanding you for your bad habit.
“thought you said it was stupid?” you mutter. tilting your head to the side ever so slightly to look at him. a sly, cheeky smirk on your face.
“it is.”
maybe it wasnt so stupid after all.

Enemies to lovers with Lando. Someone says something bad / criticises Lando in front of reader and she immediately defends him without knowing he’s behind her and can hear everything. And maybe as she’s defending him she’s also unknowingly/ without realizing / accidentally admitting her feelings for him
i love this idea! thank you so much anon, love!
tw: fem!reader, swears, logan hate (do not support!), little lando hate, not spellchecked or proof read, lmk if you want me to add anything else.
w/c: 2k
you and lando had never gotten along. you’d never gotten along and you’d never tried to. it was just one of those things, you supposed. you didn’t make a big deal out of it as the two of you shared a friend group and didn’t want to cause any issues between the group. lando however, well it seemed like he had a serious issue with you.
at first you did try to get along with him, his ego was massive and that really did put you off wanting to be friends with him but you could be fake a friendship with him. a friendship out of convenience was perfectly fine with you. lando was just having none of it. he’d ignore any conversation you would try to have with him - even in a group setting. you had tried just not talking to him but even that left you on the receiving end of dirty looks and mean comments. you’d had enough with it so you stopped caring about him entirely.
well that’s what you told your friends. in reality; you cared what he thought, you looked for his reaction to any story that was told in the room and you looked to see if he laughed at your jokes. every single time you were left with blank stares and bored expressions.
your friends noticed this and tried their best to ease the tension between the two of you but because of lando’s stubbornness, there was nothing they could really do. he really did make things difficult sometimes.
you had all gathered around the drivers house to celebrate a mutual close friend’s birthday. you and you close girl friends had gotten ready for the get together at your house and headed to the party together.
“so is the vibe for tonight party or chilled?” your friend asks as you jump out of the taxi outside lando’s apartment complex. your other friend snorts in amusement before she replies.
“girl, we’re at lando’s what do you think the vibe is?”. you frown. the party vibe wasn’t really what the birthday boy enjoyed so you hoped for his sake it was more a chilled, hanging with friends vibe. you also didn’t really dress for a party, your favourite pair of jeans on as well as one of those cute baby tee’s you found on tiktok.
“i hope not. fin doesn’t really like parties.” you remind them as you press the buzzer for lando’s. it rings for a second then you hear his crackly voice through the speaker. “hello?”. he sounded sober. good start.
“can you let us in please?” you ask into the intercom. there is a pause before lando replies.
“no. we’re full.”
your friend rolls her eyes at his words, knowing all this is was because he was talking to you. if he would just stop acting like a dickhead for more than two seconds people could maybe get things done. meanwhile, you huff at lando’s words opening your mouth to complain to him but your friend cuts in. “just let us in, norris.”.
she sounds fed up enough already that lando immediately tells them to “head on up, then.” she storms ahead of you and your other friend. you look at each other with annoyed looks.
“to be fair it’s a good thing she did that because you haven’t fell into his traps in months.” she reminds you as you reach his door which was open waiting on you and your friend. you nod. it was true, ignoring lando was really going well for you… from your friends point of view anyways. your mind was still plagued with thoughts of him.
your friend walks in before you so make sure to close the door behind you.
“so i guess we were wrong. looks like it is a chill night.” you friend says as she sees your friends dotted around the place, conversing. it looked very adult. weird for something lando was in charge of planning. you didn’t know he was capable of being anything except snide and rude. maybe he could be thoughtful and caring to the people he loved. the thought makes you frown but before you can linger on it for too long your friend grabs you both a drink and you take seats on his couch.
you notice you’re the last ones to arrive and try to find your friend that stormed off earlier. your eyes rake around the room until they land on her sitting with fin, the birthday boy. they looked cosy. ‘good for them’ you think as you take a sip of your drink. you notice lando sitting with his friend, max, on the couch next to you. you glance in his direction then redirect your eyes.
after maybe half an hour of socialising and drinking, fin announces (with your other friend hanging off his arm) that he wants to play a game of truth or dare. you thought it was a bit childish but everyone agreed so you did too. you all sit in a circle and decide to place a bottle in the middle.
“this is so high school.” you say to your friend, who just laughs in agreement. you had ended up sitting next to max on one side and your friend on the other. you quite liked max, he was nothing like lando, which helped you like him a lot more.
“since it’s my birthday, i’ll go first!” fin says as he spins the bottle. it lands on max. fin grins before asking the question you know you’re going to be tired of hearing after tonight.
after a couple of rounds a few of you disperse to get drinks and use the toilet. you were pretty sure some went for a smoke break. you didn’t even know anyone where smoked. lando was one of the people that had left, he went to the kitchen to get a drink for him and max. the good thing about not being able to let anyone know you were staring at lando was that you got good at lip reading and hearing things from a distance. you also got good at seeing things out of the corner of your eye. it was during your turn when lando asked max if he wanted another drink. you felt like you were keeping tabs on the boy, you were starting to feel a bit creepy as you answered your question.
the game continues as people (lando) leave. it was your friend turn but she was a bit more than drunk and would only accept a question from fin, the man she was clinging to all night.
you can all see the wheels turning in fin’s mind as he thinks up a question. “how good of a driver do you think lando actually is?” he finally asks.
everyone perks up at the question, wanting to see if your friend had any unpopular opinions on lando’s driving skills.
“he’s shit. like- that’s him just won his first race? after racing for like five years? that doesn’t really scream future world champion does it?” she criticised, words slurred. your face is screwed up in disagreement. you bite your tongue though, knowing she was drunk and probably just wanted to start something. you’re sure you heard someone gasp.
“you don’t really mean that?” another one of your friends asks in shock. your drunk friend only nods.
“i do. he’s bad. like he’s not logan sargent bad but he’s mid at best and i don’t understand the hype. i never have and i don’t think i ever will.” she smiles a little and that’s what gets you.
“i’m sorry are you being serious right now? firstly the audacity you have to sit there, shitfaced, bashing on the person who’s house you’re inside and who bought you the drinks in the first place is absurd,” you start, bring her down a peg. you hear footsteps behind you but you’re too pent up to acknowledge them right now.
“secondly, have you even watched a race? ever? or even recently? because if you had then you would know just how good he actually is. you’re sitting there talking about him like you know exactly how hard he worked to get to where he is and to achieve that win. millions of people - who actually watch the races, by the way - have said how difficult it is to end verstappen’s win streak and lando was the first person to do so this season.” you rant, enraged that she spoke about lando like that.
her mouth opens and closes a few times before she says, almost cockily. “carlos sainz won before lando did, in australia. you act like i don’t know shit about f1.”
“lando’s win means way more than carlos’ because max was still in the race in miami. he had the chance to actually win it, whereas in australia he dnf’d. so do you actually know what you’re talking about? i, along with like a million other people like lando and think he’s going to go very far the rest of the season.” you educate her. she should really know all of this seeing as you always told her every detail about the races on the mondays following.
“bitch.” she has nothing to retaliate with so she chooses to resort to name calling. you don’t even give her a reply and stand up to go outside to get some air. you stand up so quickly you don’t see the feet standing directly behind you or the hard chest you smash into. you could tell it was lando from the scent. was it weird? maybe but you didn’t care much. you’re embarrassed that he probably heard your rant defending him and that you just smashed right into his chest so you step backwards and head to lando’s balcony to sit outside with the smokers.
you rush outside and sit down in the far corner next to the railing. you watch the streets below for a few minutes, trying to forget what you had just done and who you had done it in front of. you feel lando looming over you a few minutes later.
“y’alright?” he asks as he takes a seat next to you. you feel uncomfortable a little, you’ve never been this close to him, even though that’s the only thing you’ve ever wanted for the past three years. and he’s being nice to you. lando have never been nice to you. ever. you’d seen him be nice to others, hundreds of times before so you knew what it was like, but you could only have dreamed of being on the receiving end of it.
“yeah.” you reply. you move your head from watching the cars pass on the road to rest your forehead on your tucked up knees.
“thank you for what you did… well said i guess. it was really nice of you.” lando starts, his hand sits awfully close to the edge of your shoe. it’s not touching but if you shuffled your foot a few times towards him, it would be.
“i know i don’t really deserve it. not from you anyways. you’ve always been so sweet to me and i’ve kinda been- well a dick.” you let out a breathy giggle at his choice of words.
“yeah. you have been a dick.” lando grins as you agree with him.
“what if i said i didn’t wanna be a dick to you anymore?” he said, you’re sure you heard a hint of shyness in his voice.
you move you’re head from it’s resting place to look at him in confusion. “you don’t? how do you want to treat me then?” you ask.
lando smiles. “like i should’ve been for the past god knows how long.” you give him your own smile back.
“for the record i like you too.” lando teases, his hand coming to clutch at your thigh. you groan.
“i hate you.” he laughs that laugh.
“no you don’t.” you rest your head on your shoulder and listen to the traffic. lando’s thumb rubs across your skin. his touch is soothing. this is the first nice memory you have with lando.

hiii i was wondering if you would write a blurb about vamp h taking care of a drunk y/n lol i think it’d be awfully cute omg or a girls night out (+ one vampire) and he’s like trailing after her trying to keep her out of trouble
wordcount: 3.9k+
—————
"Darling, are you certain you are not going to be cold?"
Twisting and turning in the mirror, her dress ruched over her body in tight folds, it took all of (Y/N)'s effort to keep her smile at bay. "I'm sure I'll be fine, H. It's not that cold out, and we won't be spending much time outside anyway."
It was clear he still wasn't pleased at her answer with the way he folded his arms across his chest and set his mouth in a grim line. (Y/N) had to bite back her smile lest he see her amusement from where he was leaning against the doorframe to her closet. He hadn't moved much from where he'd started the night watching her try on practically every outfit she had stuffed into both their wardrobe and closet.
She could feel his eyes on her as she smoothed her dress over her thighs, pulling down the hem another inch before ruching it back up. Counting down in her head, she had to keep herself from laughing when he followed the same pattern he'd curated for the past ten minutes.
"What if you fall ill? Or the weather changes while we're out? Y'could freeze before I have a chance to warm you."
This time, she couldn't stop the laugh from falling from her lips. She stopped her assessment in the mirror, turning to Harry with her amusement clear on her features and a cant of her head.
"H, c'mon."
His own expression tightened, his stubborn streak peeking out. "Come on, what?"
Stepping towards him on bare feet, (Y/N) peered up at him. "I know you think humans can't handle anything, but, honestly, do you really think it's that easy for me to get sick or freeze to death?"
They both knew well that Harry had done his share of research when it came to anything human. Especially after bonding and ensuring (Y/N) wanted to be at his side for their forever, he'd deep dived into anything and everything human to refresh his knowledge and become the most perfect beloved he could be—including knowing just how to take care of her. He knew better than to assume she would drop dead after a gust of wind.
Despite the stubborn line of his jaw, he relented, "No."
"Then, why are you so nervous about tonight?" she crooned, wrapping her arms around his middle with her chin set on his chest.
His palms ghosted down her back, leaving a chilled trail just barely felt through the fabric of her dress, until he stopped at the bottom of her spine. His touch was delicate. She could see the whole of him softening the longer she looked up at him.
"You know I worry about you," he murmured, "Anything is possible when it comes to humans. I dread testing the limits when it comes to you."
As much as she teased him and found his concern over something as simple as a breeze something to laugh over, the root of it all was something that had her softening. It was hard not to hear his words and grow tender.
"I promise I'm going to be okay, Harry," she told him, "I'm going to bring a jacket, and you're meeting us after dinner, anyway. If I feel like I need more than my jacket I can text you and let you know."
Though she knew he would never be one hundred percent pleased with her answer unless it was her layering up with all dangers padlocked away from her, this seemed to be enough for him as he sucked in an unnecessary breath.
"I suppose that will work," he sighed, overdramatic as always, "You are rather strong."
Stretching to the tips of her toes, (Y/N) pecked a quick kiss to the soft of Harry's lip. "I promise I'll be okay. Thank you for worrying about me, though."
He chased after her when she pulled away, craning his neck to steal one more kiss before she landed on the flat of her feet once more. "'S a privilege, m'love."
It was poetry like that that almost had her agreeing to wrap up in layers and layers complete with a shell of bubble wrap before she left the house.
—————
Harry couldn't keep the frown from his face as he parked across the street from the nightclub he was meeting (Y/N) and her friends at. He'd never been to an establishment like this before (minus blood clubs but that was an entirely different concept that appealed to his more baser needs, so it didn't count), and, judging by the specimens he could see pouring in and out, he would have liked to keep it that way.
But, this was where (Y/N) had asked him to meet her and there was no way he was going to let her down.
He was just going to have to hold his breath, he decided. Before setting foot inside, he was sure he would not be a fan of the scents perfuming the building.
It would only be a few hours, he reminded himself as he stepped out of his car. Hours like this were a minute compared to the eternity of his existence. He could handle tonight without a doubt.
The slight breeze in the air (he didn't even want to think about (Y/N)'s bare legs enduring this wind) pushed open the unbuttoned lapels of his shirt. He hadn't been sure what he should wear for the night, but he took some cues from (Y/N)'s dress and heels when he decided to pull a shimmering satin piece from the wardrobe and fitted black trousers. Looking at the young men walking in and stumbling out of the nightclub, he wondered if they were underdressed or if he was overdressed.
That concern didn't last long, though, pushed aside once he heard a familiar peal of laughter pouring out of the swinging door of the nightclub. What he was wearing was pushed to the back of his mind then, his priority shifting. He needed to get inside and ensure (Y/N) was alright just like she had promised.
Making it to the entrance of the nightclub, Harry was stopped by a man tucked away in a cubby by the door. He was dressed in all black, a bored expression on his face when Harry approached.
"Hey, how are you?" the man asked, barely looking at Harry as he spoke.
A furrow pinched Harry's brow. "I am well, thank you."
At his abrupt tone, the man finally chanced a look at Harry. He lingered for only a moment on his stern expression before seemingly shaking it off. "That's great, man. Can I see your ID?"
The man set his hand out, palm up in expectation. The knit in Harry's brows tightened that much more at the ask. This never happened at the blood clubs from what he could remember; why did it matter who he was before stepping inside?
Nonetheless, he pulled out the (forged) ID out of his wallet, passing it off to the man with a quick flash of his hand. The man barely glanced at the piece of plastic before he flicked his eyes back up to Harry with a slight smile curling his lips.
"So, you're Harry," the man pointed out, passing back Harry's ID.
Pocketing it, Harry wasn't sure what this man was trying to get at, but answered him nonetheless, "Yes. That's me. Why?"
The man shook his head, a small laugh falling from his lips before he stepped away from the door. "Nothing. Your girlfriend just made sure to let everyone know you were coming tonight. She'll be excited to see you."
Mumbling a thank you to the man, Harry stepped around him and entered the nightclub. While it was a sweet thought that (Y/N) had boasted about him to the nightclub staff, he wasn't sure why she would go through all of the trouble. It wasn't like her to bubble off to strangers.
The lights were off, leaving the bar lining the back of the space with only a dim glow for the tenders to work by. The main floor, full of people dancing (at least that's what he thought that was what they were doing. Harry couldn't be sure, and he truthfully didn't want to look close enough to find out) was the darkest space with only pumping strobes and multicolored spotlights to be the only guides. Here and there were tall tables stationed by the bar and rounded booths tucked into the walls, no seat left unclaimed despite the busy dance floor. Scanning his eyes over the packed bodies, Harry searched for a familiar dress or the peak of a familiar scent, hoping to find (Y/N) somewhere.
His hunt didn't take long, finding (Y/N) with a few other girls he was familiar with only through photos on the far edge of the dancing crowd. He was only able to catch a view of her profile, where she had a lazy smile on her lips and her lashes sitting half lidded over her eyes. There was a cup in her hand, the neon liquid almost empty between shards of ice, though she still managed to slosh it almost to the edge with every uncoordinated sway of her body.
Harry didn't waste any time before he was meandering his way through the throng of bodies, keeping his breath stilted so as to not bother his senses with the scent of so many others that were not his beloved. It was bad enough he felt the heat of their bodies and the unnecessary brushes against him, he didn't want anything more from him to invade his senses.
Just as he hit the edges of their little group, (Y/N) stumbled on her heels, her features falling. In a rush, Harry was at her side, saving her balance and settling her back on her feet. A bewildered expression crossed her face, one he was sure matched her friends who all had eyes on him as well. Though the second she recognized his chilled touch and the familiar hands wrapped around her arms, she loosened back into her oblivious state.
"Harry!" she cheered, completely forgetting about her almost finished drink when she twirled on her feet and threw her arms around his shoulders, "You're here!"
His bunched muscles finally relaxed, allowing him to reciprocate her hug. Dipping his head down, his cheek pressed to hers with his lips by her ear, he murmured, "'M here, love. Are y'alright?"
"Yeah, why?" she bubbled, seemingly having wiped the stumble right out of her mind already.
It didn't take Harry's extra senses to notice the vodka on her breath, though he was sure he was the only one that could notice the sharp edge added to her scent from the alcohol. With how saturated it was, she hadn't just started her night at the club. That would at least explain why she had made sure to alert the man out front that her boyfriend (a silly title, but cute nonetheless) was on his way.
"No reason," he smiled, dropping his hands to sit on her waist, "Are y'having fun?"
"I am! I'm so happy you're here now! I've been telling everyone that you were coming, and now you're here!"
The glaze over her eyes was enough to draw Harry in, his lips curling into an amused smile. He'd never seen her anything past a bit tipsy. Drunk (Y/N) was a person he'd never met before.
Before he had a chance to offer any kind of response, using a surprising amount of her strength given her state, she pulled him along before presenting him to her friends.
"Guys!" she bubbled, catching the attention of the rest of the women, "Look who's here!"
One of the women looked decidedly more sober than the rest, though Harry could smell a tint of alcohol on her as well. She was the first to step forward, giving a small smile.
"Harry, right?" she said, the ends of her short blonde hair dusting her collarbones, "(Y/N)'s been so excited to see you tonight."
"As I've learned," he laughed, offering a hand out for her to shake, "And you are?"
"Oh, I'm Charlotte! It's nice to meet you!"
At that, the surrounding group made their own introductions with (Y/N) clinging to his side. He dedicated each name to memory, hoping that would help him pass the test that he was surely going through that night. Meeting her friends had been foiled before with the changes in weather keeping him stuck inside, or his insistence that (Y/N) live her life outside of him lest she feel trapped in the manor at his side. Tonight had been the first time everything had fallen into place: a girls' night with an open invitation after dinner.
Shifting his arm around her shoulders, Harry pulled (Y/N) to his side as he guided her out of the way of those still dancing behind them. His features set pleasantly neutral, he looked towards Charlotte first.
"(Y/N) told me your significant others might also be joining us tonight," he drawled, his version of asking of their whereabouts as he seemed to be the only boyfriend having shown up so far.
"I'm not sure, actually," Charlotte mused, the evidence of her own drinking beginning to show. "I know my boyfriend will be here to pick me up later, but I haven't really heard anything about the other girls’. It might just be you, if that's okay."
Feeling eyes on him, Harry glanced down at his side to see (Y/N) still gazing up at him with a dreamy smile on her lips. He hoped he didn't come off as rude when the sight distracted him as Charlotte spoke, taking a beat to reciprocate her look and keep her snug to his side.
"I am okay with that. I hope 'm not intruding on your night then," Harry charmed, shooting his gaze around the room in search of a vacant booth or barstool, "Perhaps, I can find a free spot and let you all have fun without me interrupting."
"No," (Y/N) piped up, "You have to stay with us now! I don't want you to go."
Her words are slightly slurred but her passion was clear enough. He didn't bother to look at what the rest of the women had to say, only worrying about keeping the smile on his beloved face. "Okay, then I will stay, love. I will still try to find a table, though, so y'can sit with me for a little."
She was more than quelled by his answer, her body pliant against his own as if she were already ready for him to drag her wherever he wanted.
"I don't know if anything is going to be open," Charlotte interjected, having heard his proposal over the music, "I've been hoping someone would move, but they've all been taken since we got here."
"I'm sure I can make something work," Harry smiled, already spotting a booth he would prefer over the others, "We'll be right back."
As soon as Harry stepped out of the small circle formed by their group with (Y/N) on his arm, it was closed up once more, though he could feel eyes pasted to his back watching where they went. Aware of her stumbling steps at his side, Harry took it slow as he escorted her towards a booth situated in the back corner, just out of view of the others.
"I think people have—hic—they're already sitting there, H," (Y/N) murmured.
"'S alright," he answered, tightening his hold on her hand, "I think they're about to leave."
He didn't waste any time in reaching the group, a charming smile on his lips when he picked out the leader. An underdressed (in Harry's opinion) blonde man with a drink in hand seemed to be the center of attention, the first one to acknowledge Harry approaching.
Before he could utter any kind of greeting, Harry took over the situation. "Hello," he smiled, "M'girlfriend and her friends would like to sit here, please."
The man looked bewildered for a moment, unable to meet Harry's eyes. "Um—I'm sorry, but—"
"No need to be sorry," Harry cut him off, voice taking on a quality he didn't utilize very often, but this was a special occasion, "You can find another space. Right?"
As soon as the man met his eyes, Harry could tell the effects he wanted were taking place. It was all within the span of a heartbeat that this man took Harry's words as his own idea and nodded his head.
"Yeah, we can find another spot," he relented, a faux cheer to his voice as he beckoned his friends to follow him out, "C'mon, guys, let's try the bar."
There were a few questioning glances thrown to both the man as well as Harry, but no one questioned. Instead they only murmured amongst themselves as they followed their leader towards the bartop. As he led her into the now free vinyl seating, (Y/N) was one of the few that had a question in her eyes and pinch in her brows.
"How did you do that?" she asked, her voice low under the music but still audible to Harry's ears, "Is that a vampire thing?"
A breath of laughter fell from his lips at her words. "A little bit, yes. I don't like to do it often, but I want to make sure y'have somewhere to sit and relax while I get y'some water."
"You're getting me water?" she questioned, thoroughly distracted at his new offer as if she didn't have a cup of half melted ice in her hand.
"Mhm," he hummed, releasing her hand once she had tucked herself into the corner of the booth, "After I grab your friends, 'm getting y'some water before y'have any more fun."
With the way she was looking at him, he would have figured he had proposed and offered diamonds and jewels to her, and not just a glass of water from the bar. This night was already going better than he'd thought.
—————
"Did you guys know that Harry's a painter?! Like, he does huge murals and things all over the house! He's amazing."
Only Charlotte seemed to catch (Y/N) words—the same declaration she had cheered about only ten minutes prior. She and Harry exchanged a small glance while the rest of the table treated this as new information.
It'd been a long time since Harry had drank, and even longer since he'd been intoxicated to (Y/N)'s degree. Was short term memory something that was now lost when mixed with spirits, or was that just her?
"Do you really?!" one of (Y/N)'s friends (Cecilia, maybe?) bubbled, her cup of ice water cradled in her hands as she leant over the table with wide eyes, "What kind of stuff do you paint?"
"A little bit of everything," Harry answered, just as he had the last time a similar question was posed, "M'style has changed a lot over the last year or so. I can show you all some time if you'd like—'m sure (Y/N) would love to have you over to the manor."
Even Charlotte perked up at this offer, looking to (Y/N) for confirmation. "That would be so much fun, (Y/N)! We could do that the next time we get together!"
At that, Harry sat back while the chattering arose amongst the group. Under the table, his hand rested on (Y/N)'s thigh, the warmth of her skin anchoring him through the pumping music, strobing lights, and unfamiliar smells surrounding him. As much as he was aiming to leave a good first impression on her friends, he was still very much out of his element in the nightclub. He hoped (Y/N) would call for him to take her home sooner rather than later.
As if she knew he had her on his mind, (Y/N) leant into his side, looking up at him with a toothy grin and affectionate eyes. The chattering was going strong on the other side of the table, the conversation sounding as if the women were making plans for their next outing together—one that would take place at the manor with bottles of wine and movies.
"You'd really be alright with everyone coming over?" (Y/N) asked, moony eyes trained on his face.
"Of course," he answered, a smile landing on his face on instinct, "It is your home too, petal. Y'can have your friends over as well—'s not jus' Mitch and Niall that are allowed over."
She curled into his side, her thigh under the table practically draped over his own. "Do you think Sarah would want to hang out with us?"
The thought of Sarah playing around with a bunch of human girls was more amusing than he thought it would be. He wondered if that was how she and Mitch felt when they realized he was courting a human girl.
"She might," he told her, keeping his amusement to himself, "I can ask for you."
In an impossible feat, (Y/N) looked that much more in love with him at his offer. As much as he missed her regular scent without the sticky edge of alcohol, he did like just how tender she became—adoring his every and any move.
"That would be so nice, H. Thank you," she told him earnestly, her hand coming to rest on his middle with his shirt in her grip, "You're the best ever, you know that?"
"I have been told as much a few times." All by her, but that was a detail that he would leave out for the moment.
"Well," she pouted, "It's true. I'm so happy you came tonight. I think the girls really like you, too."
"Yeah?" he smiled, hoping it was more than just her drunken tongue making the claim.
"Mhm," she hummed, stretching to rest her head on his shoulder with a squeeze of her hand over his shoulder, "You're better than all of their boyfriends."
At that, Harry couldn't help but to release the laugh building in his chest. While he understood the sentiment, that wasn't quite the impact he was going for.
"You think so?" Harry questioned, unable to wipe his amusement from his voice.
(Y/N) didn't seem to notice—or, most likely, care—responding with a definitive nod. "I know so."
Another breathy laugh left his lips as he ducked his head, burying his nose in her hair. From the corner of his eye, he spotted Charlotte glancing their way; an adoring smile tugged at the corner of her mouth when she saw the way her friend clung to him.
Taking in a lungful of (Y/N)'s scent, Harry decided that nightclubs weren't so bad.
At least when (Y/N) was there.
“Wait, (Y/N),” Cecilia babbled, a look of urgency on her face, “You said he cooks, right? You cook right?”
Her attention was splashed over Harry then, forcing him to draw away from (Y/N)’s hair. Clearing his throat under the music, he nodded his head. “I do, yes.”
A squeal fell from her lips with her companions being just as excited. “Would you make us food when we come over? (Y/N) says you’re so good!”
Just as (Y/N) perked up at his side, turning her wide eyes on him, Harry stifled his own laugh. God, how he wished he had been a fly on the wall while she apparently spouted off all these facts about him—the ones reserved for her.
“If you’d like.”
Just as he expected, more noise erupted from the table.

In a Lovesick AU, where yanderes are a known part of society, and darlings/bbys are as well, working like A/B/O with being a gender... Imagine Reader hides they're a bby.
They're this random teen or young adult who is tired constantly, does side jobs amd odd tasks to earn money, drinks coffee and sugar to stay awake and alert, and struggles to function amongst others. Reader is able to pass themself off as a yandere, just barely, due to having OCD and using that as a shield between anyone who suspects them. Reader is friends with the teens, and does their best to get along with the adults, as well as most of the school and it's students and faculty. This leads to Reader being well-liked by most, who have a respect for them, someone who seems to try and help others and has no hidden agenda, and someone who respects boundaries, and who leave everyone to their own devices...
What Reader doesn't know is this leads the yanderes and yanlings (baby/kid/teen/young adult yanderes) to really want their friendship and advice. Reader seems to know how to please others and is pretty chill, so why not try to befriend them or have them on their side? They think Reader is a pretty chill yandere, a surprise to almost everyone who meets them. Reader is funny, kind, smart, and obsesses over cute or odd topics! They'd be a lucky person to have! Except... they aren't a darling or bby. And no one can exactly touch them or make a move without getting into legal trouble unless Reader is okay with it (because they're registered as a yanling) or if they were a bby... If they were a bby, they'd have to have a yandere, or some support system, as yanderes protect darlings and bbys, they're meant to do that, they're supposed to he strong and caring and steadfast, not swerving or rejecting them, or letting anyone mess with their bby... And darlings are loving, caring beings, who give love and bring hope and provide care and comfort... Wars were started in ancient times over darlings... They're rare, usually being hidden away or dying early on, due to their diffent biology and pheromones and needs than yanderes...
Reader likes their odd friends and the school and their friends' strange mentors, but always always a distance between themself and everyone. They know they're different, they know others wouldn't let them be on their own if they knew the truth, and so many people could hurt them or abuse them or experiment on them if they found out... It keeps Reader up at night, it fuels their paranoia, it makes them add extra locks to their doors and windows and set up traps if they had a nightmare... They want connection, to have family, to be loved... darlings need that, so badly... it's why so many die, because they don't get enough, or they end up in horrible situations so young, and they simply wither away, dying... Reader couldn't stand that to happen to them. Couldn't stand to become a shell of themself. So they hide, they keep scent blockers so mutants, who have heightened senses, can't detect anything different about them. Reader even hones their mutation in secret, no matter how good or bad, controlled or destructive, they are, so they can defend themself if worst comes to worst...
It all goes to H*ll when an accident happens, perhaps a fight or getting wounded or just being caught unaware, and now the platonic yans, at least a handful, know what Reader is. And they're... shocked. Elated. Worried. Their friend or kids' friend is a bby... They've been on their own. With no yandere. No help. And they're still alive? It's a rough night for them, as they struggle struggle what to do. They can't leave Reader like that. It wouldn't be right, would it? Bbys need more love and care than yanderes, needing someone to keep giving it, constantly... Without it, they tend to get sickly, or go insane, or die... And if that happened to Reader, they wouldn't forgive themselves...
It's not much of a choice to them. They tell their team, they possibly alert the other group, and devise a way to get Reader to join them. If they can manage, they want Reader to join willingly. If not, they'd have to kidnap them or force them to stay, which could harm them or damage their trust and their instincts. They know Reader is now scared of them, even if they brush it off or try to hide it. Reader says they're fine, but they know they aren't. They see them being more alert, more wary. They see how they are more deceptive, more careful, with what they say and do. They even seem to be thinking of leaving, or hiding themself... And that behavior won't help them, or make anything easier.
They have a plan, they just need to hope Reader doesn't catch on untik they're finally somewhere safe, preferably where they can do a check-up and figure out what they need to feel better and accept them as their family...

Sirius Black x plus size!reader ♡ 743 words
You come home, chilled and damp, to a boyfriend who is looking especially soft.
“Hey.” Sirius props himself up where he’s sprawled across the couch. His skin glows blue in the light from the TV, and there’s a crease on his cheek like he might’ve been sleeping before you came in. His hair is down and fluffier than normal, a shorter piece falling near his face and curving along the inside of his jaw. He’s the picture of loveliness, but worse, he’s wearing your hoodie. Your favorite one, with the soft fuzzy inside and the sleeves long enough to pull over your fingers. “You were supposed to text me when you got off.”
“My phone died,” you say.
Sirius tsks, getting up and arching his back until it cracks satisfyingly. “Poor girl. So you had to walk all this way in the rain, hm?” He meets you by the door for a kiss, thumbing at your cheek tenderly. “You’re freezing.”
“Yeah,” you agree. You sound about as smitten as you feel, and your boyfriend grins smugly. “Is that my hoodie?”
Anyone else might look down to see what they’re wearing, but Sirius only keeps looking at you. He hasn’t forgotten. “It is,” he says. “You couldn’t honestly expect me to bear the burden of your absence for the entire day, sweetness. A man has to cope.”
You feel your lips curve unwillingly. “Right. My mistake.”
“Don’t make it again.” He smacks your bum and goes into the kitchen. You’re a bit too lovesick at the moment to retaliate. “Want me to make you hot cocoa?”
What you really want is to drag him back to the sofa so you can have a nice warm cuddle with your extremely cuddly-looking boyfriend, but it’s your job to be the sensible one in this relationship. And the sensible one doesn’t get the couch wet.
“Please,” you agree. “I’m going to go upstairs and change.”
It proves hard work peeling your work clothes off your damp skin. You hear Sirius’ steps on the stairs when you’re only just tugging your pants off your ankles.
“Oh, hello.” He grins at the sight of you, sitting on the bed in your underwear. “I don’t see why you ever put on more clothes than this, darling. I quite like clothes, but I’d be happy with this all of the time.”
You give him a wry look, having recovered somewhat from your shock of adoration downstairs. “I think my boss might take issue with that proposal.”
“Not after she gives me some time to tell my side of the story.” Sirius walks past you to set your hot cocoa on the nightstand, his eyes staying on you the entire time. When he looks at you like this, it’s like you can feel the physical weight of him pressing you into the mattress even from across the room. Your body feels pleasantly warm and heavy. “If you do need to put something on, though,” he says, starting to pull your hoodie over his head, “use this.”
“I have other sweatshirts,” you say when it lands in your lap. “Why do you want me to wear this one?”
“So I can steal it back,” Sirius says happily, “and it’ll be nice and warm.”
You huff a laugh. “Doesn’t seem fair. I didn’t get that benefit, you’re like a vampire.”
It’s not the first time you’ve told this joke, so your boyfriend’s reaction is predictable (it’s why you keep telling it). In two quick strides, he has your wrists pinned beneath his hands and his mouth on your neck.
He takes your skin between your teeth, biting down gently. “Gotcha.”
You make a faux distressed sound, but you’re unable to suppress the giggle that bubbles up in your chest. Sirius kisses the spot lightly.
“Don’t worry,” he reassures you, rubbing his hands over your thighs. “The transformation’s totally painless, and you’ll make a super hot vamp. Now put on the sweatshirt.” This last part is said completely soberly.
“Alright, fine,” you relent. “But don’t expect to get it back warm now that you’ve vamped me. And I don’t even think I can wear this one as often anymore now that I know how good you look in it.”
“Not nearly as good as you do, gorgeous.” He kisses you sweetly, your smiles a mirror image. “But we may have to work out a custody agreement, yeah. This one always smells the most like you.”

BTD/TPOF Valentine's Gifts To You~<3
Look I know Valentine’s was days ago but it’s one of my favorite holidays and I have no chill, so you all have to deal with the residual now. (*-`ω´- )人
THAT BEING SAID- here's a little 'what kinds of gifts/experiences the Boyfriend To Death/The Price Of Flesh crew would lavish you with on Valentine's day' imagine, let’s gooo!!! I hope you all enjoy!
18+ ONLY PLEASE!!!
Warnings: Abuse, implied past kidnapping, reader getting hurt, torture, noncon, dubcon, (please forgive the pun but) horrible people taking a stab at an ounce of ‘affection’ and mostly just making things more dreadful for you.
I hope you all enjoy! ˘³˘
Ren🦊- Will actually get you a sweet gift, something that he put time and thought into. Chocolates, a stuffed animal, a cute outfit, a figure of your favorite game/anime character that you have been eying, maybe even all of the above if he has the budget (honestly probably all of the above even if he doesn’t have the budget). He’ll present it really cutely too, like rose petal’s littering the ground leading you to the room where all the gifts are neatly displayed, giving a little ‘tah-dah!’ as soon as you discover them. He gets really excited watching you open them, explaining his reasoning behind each and every item he purchased/made you.
“All the chocolates in store looked boring, so I decided to make you some! I added your favorite ingredients, so I hope you like them!”
“This stuffed fox was too cute to leave behind and, well… I was hoping maybe it would sort of remind you of me? Anyway, I couldn’t leave the store without him! He belongs snuggled in your arms, just like I do!”
Just be mindful that in return he’s probably gonna put on a ‘cute romance anime’ of his choosing to end the night and that ‘cute romance anime’ is 100% just going to be hentai. From there, one thing will lead to another and he’ll make sure he gets a nice Valentine’s gift too. :) Oh, and if you don't like any of the gifts... It's best just to keep it to yourself. He'd hate to have to ruin the nice time you are having on this great holiday because you are being ungrateful.
➽───────────────❥
Lawrence🪴- Flowers is a no brainer, but he doesn’t want to give you something that’s too cliché or that you’ll just throw in a vase to watch slowly die. After mulling it over he decides to give you something with a little more meaning-a plant from his collection that he planted and grew himself. He would most likely pick something like an aglaonema (its valentine colored, right?) or some kind of succulent because they are easier to take care of. He’s a little worried that you are gonna find such a gift weird or see it as a hassle, that no matter how little maintenance the plant takes you’ll just let it end up dying regardless. But he supposes if anything this will be a good test of your bond-will you cherish and nurture the gift he gives you, or will you discard it and let it wither? Don’t make the wrong choice here, it would break his heart. (And your life honestly depends on it.)
➽───────────────❥
Strade🔪- You were dreading what kind of ‘present’ this man would concoct for you on Valentine’s day, but to your complete surprise he actually prepares something shockingly thoughtful for you. He’s set up a nice little homemade dinner for the two of you in the living room, complete with mood lighting (you hoped he didn’t have any surprise uses for the candles that burned around you), nice dishes and silverware (a rare luxury, considering how he usually makes you eat your food) and some wild flowers he had picked from out in the yard (did they have thorns? Were you gonna find that out the hard way?). The dinner itself is one of your favorite meals, and while it was maybe a tad bit overcooked and plated sloppily, it still tasted incredibly good. The catch? Well, I mean you have to have some kind of entertainment while you eat, right? Good thing Strade has a plethora of ‘home videos’ on deck to enjoy with you while you have your lovely little feast. Maybe watching them will spark something between you two, it’s certainly going to put him in the mood to reenact them with you. It’s Valentine’s Day afterall, why not have a little fun? <3
➽───────────────❥
Celia👩💼- It really just depends on her mood or what is happening the day of. You may end up getting something nice, a little reward from her for being such a good and obedient pet. She’ll gift you something thoughtful and sweet, like a nice piece of jewelry, expensive chocolate, or finely aged wine that costs more than you make in an entire month. She’ll be relaxed and pleased as she watches you enjoy her gift, taking satisfaction in how easy it was for her to delight you. On the other hand, if she is in a horrible mood or (god forbid) was forced to spend the holiday with her husband, the only thing you are going to be receiving is the brunt of her frustrations. If he bought her chocolates she’d force you to eat them all in one go, prying your mouth open to shove them in herself if you refuse to do it on your own, cramming them in until you nearly choke. If he bought her flowers she’d flog you with the bouquet, rose thorns tearing into your flesh until you were left in a pile of petals and your own blood, body littered with lacerations and angry red welts. Whatever half assed gift she was given or horrible date she was put through, has now become your problem as she uses you as an outlet for her resentment. And for the final celebratory Valentine’s act, she’d use you however she saw fit to get off (because she sure as hell isn’t getting any pleasure anywhere else tonight). Mine as well make the most of her time with her little sweetheart before she’s forced to go back and face whatever is waiting for her back home. You understand, right honey?
➽───────────────❥
Derek🦂- Honestly he forgets it’s Valentine’s Day, but it really doesn’t matter. He wasn’t going to go out of his way to get you anything or do anything for you anyway. If anything, he’d buy something for himself that he can either use on you or force you into for his own personal amusement. Some kind of constricting, demeaning latex gimp suit, or maybe a new whip he can assault you with. The more it hurts or humiliates you the better, because nothing brings him more pleasure than watching you suffer and squirm. Regardless of if he remembers the holiday or not, he’ll probably just spend the day mocking, assaulting, and/or torturing you anyway-once he recognizes the date, he may even go a little harder than usual as a treat to himself. What are you gonna do, cry because your ‘Valentine’ is being mean to you? Hearing you beg, curse, moan, and scream in agony over all that he’s putting you through only makes it better, sweetheart. Like music to his ears! Even though it’s far from your intention, you are the best Valentine he’s ever had and though he won’t admit it, he’s thankful to you for that. Then again, maybe the holiday is just making him feel particularly sappy… Has he ever told you how pretty your tear stained face looks when you are choking on his dick, struggling to breathe as he forces himself down your throat? He’ll have to take a picture to show you next time.

Mason🌲- He’s not very well versed with the ‘typical’ things people want or do for Valentine’s Day, and quite honestly, he finds it all rather obnoxious. To him it’s just some big show, a way for corporations to profit off people’s affections and sex drives to get them to spend money on cheap tokens of affection. Flower bouquets? They’ll just die. Stuffed animals? There’s no point to them. Jewelry? Useless baubles. No, the TRUE way to show your love for someone is through an EXPERIENCE. And what better experience is there then the thrill of nature? Maybe that makes him seem like a one trick pony- he did first meet you by purchasing you for his hunt, after all. But things were different now, you have proven yourself to him, proven that you have the know-how to survive out in the wilds. Now that you mastered it, you can truly enjoy it. He can tell you still didn’t really trust him (and honestly he isn’t sure you ever truly will) but he has faith you’ll eventually come around to this new way of life with him. He loves taking you out hunting and camping, the excitement he feels stalking his prey, the sense of purpose and connection he experiences living off of nature’s bounty, he’s found its much more enjoyable with you by his side. He hopes you feel it too- the buzz coursing through the air as he finally corners his quarry, how rousing it is when you land the final blow and get to drag your prize back home. He makes you watch as he skins and cleans them, finding importance in the act. You need to witness him doing his craft, learn from him, and really understand that you’re relying on him for your survival. Afterall it’s just the two of you out here now, it’s better to get used to it sooner rather than later. Come on, it’s time you took part in helping him prepare his slaughter. After you are done he’ll use the meat to cook you something nice, or prepare you some jerky so you’ll have something to snack on. This lifestyle is his ongoing gift to you, darlin’. Happy Valentine’s Day. ฅ՞•ﻌ•՞ฅ

Taste for Older Men
•⚰️🍂🍑•
Summary: Growing up with you never had much interest in boys your age but when your dads best friends stuck around more everything changed
Pairing: Cowboy Negan x f!reader
Warnings: age gap, evil boyfriend
•Masterlist•
Song Recommendation: White Mustang-Lana Del Rey
Growing up I never understood all my friends having crushes on guys in our class, I mean they were so immature and not even cute so I never had a reason to try things out and explore like so many people my age, because I knew what I liked……and that is older men, I never realized until my dads best friend moved to town and started coming over more and more, I never acted on it because obviously it’s inappropriate but god did I want to
I graduated school and went to college online so I could work on my dads farm to help out and save up some money, it just made everything easier, then I graduate college and Negan lost his farm hand so dad got me to help him out and get my sister to work on our family farm instead
I’ve only been working with Negan for a month and it’s been killing me, every glance, everytime he’d wrap his arms around me to show me the “proper” way to do something, had me wanting more than just a farm hand, I want to feel loved, I tried to get over Negan with a guy from town, he was sweet when we first started dating, the flowers before dates and opening doors and the good mornings texts but in all honesty it always felt like he was just a friend a really close guy friend but I guess this I how it’s suppose to feel right?
But now he’s mean, always calls drunk and when we’re out at gatherings he treats me like a toy to parade around but I don’t know how to leave him and god do I want to so badly
That leads to today Negan was coming over to our house for a barbecue so it’s a perfect chance to doll myself up compared to farming clothes, I finished off my makeup and pulled on a a ivory sundress, I made my way downstairs seeing my mom finishing off some salads as dad was out setting up everything
“Well don’t you look like a fresh flower in spring! Are you all dolled up for Mark?” My heart dropped
“What……what do you mean I’m staying here for supper!”
“Well dad said he ran into Mark today at the garage and invited him over, Negans never met him so why not introduce them it’ll be fun!” I tried to keep a chipper expression but I felt like screaming inside, the door bell rang alerting someone was here
“Could you get that dear I’m still finishing up here”
I walked over to the door relieved to see Negan standing there instead of Mark, I let out a breathe he obviously noticed
“You alright darling?”
“What? Oh yeah I’m finally just…..never mind please come in” I said nervously stepping to the side to clear the door way
“Old man said you’re boyfriends coming around tonight” he said with a hint of displease
“Does that man talk to everyone god” I groan
“What don’t want me meeting the guy who’s got my girl all worried” my heart did a flip at the words ‘my girl’ but I couldn’t think on it too long when a knock came from the door and my mood plummeted
With a shaky hand I open the door and there stood my walking nightmare that fake smile plastered on his smug face
“Hey babe thanks for the invite, had to hear from you old man” he says as he pulled me close by my hip a hint of anger in his voice
“I’m sorry it……it just slipped my mind” my voice wavered as he squeezed my hip, Negan cleared his throat
“Oh mark this is Negan, Negan this is Mark”
“So this is the Negan that always takes up all your time on that damn farm”
“Mark you know it’s my job and I love working there…….please you just got here” I whisper the last part, looking at Negan who had a shocked look on his face, definitely not expecting this to be my boyfriend
We all were sitting out on the back porch with the lowering sun basking us in golden light, a slight breeze in the air making a chill running down my spine, as dad laid the food on the table for everyone
“Here take my plaid you gotta be freezing” Negan said draping his brown and green longsleeve plaid over my shoulders, his cologne surrounding my senses
“I’m right here man” Mark barked from my other side
“Mark he was just being nice it’s fine”
“That’s what you always say”
“And what’s that suppose to mean?”
“Always going on and on about him and brushing me off like I’m some psycho boyfriend when I’m sick of hearing about him”
“Mark……” my dad groans as a warning
Everything seemed to come crashing down and I couldn’t keep it all in anymore
“You’re the one that comes home late stinking of booze and cheap perfume thinking I don’t see the lipstick stains on your shirt collar, or when you make me feel like a piece of meat infront of all you friends I’m sick of it Mark” at my words he shot up in his chair clearly enraged as he towered over me
“Who the hell do you think you’re talking to” the chair behind me screeched back Negan now towering over me too with the angriest look I’ve never seen before
“Get the hell outta here before you regret it” mark was angry but he was also a hell of a coward, especially faced with a big strong man like Negan
He huffed as he stomped down the porch, hearing his truck start up and rush off down the dirt road, I slumped down in my chair completely embarrassed but also that relief that I’ll never have to deal with that ass again
“Please excuse me” I sigh as I get up from the table and head up to my room for a moment of peace, I sat down on my reading ledge by my window going through all the times he mistreated me and how much he ruined my first…..well my first everything
“Hey darlin mind if I sit with ya?” Negan asks from my doorway, I simply nodded hearing him cross my room and sit next to me, I look up at him and feel my lip tremble
“He ruined everything” I finally break down when he holds me close to his chest
“He took my first kiss, felt like nothing, took my virginity even though I didn’t feel anything like that for him, he took my happiness”
“Baby look at me” he says as he leans me back tilting my head up to wipe my tears away
“If I could I’d take all your pain away, replace all those firsts with happy memories but I know one thing……”
“What?”
“You’ll be happy again, even if I gotta kill him to see you smile again I’ll do it because it kills me to see you like this”
“It’s not like I’m sad he’s gone, I’m relieved really but he’s never what I wanted” I say placing my hand ontop of his that was still against my cheek
“And what is it you want darlin?”
“I’ve always wanted you, I know I shouldn’t you’re my dads best friend but all my secrets are coming out today” I pity laugh
“I want you too, when you started working on my farm, you working around the farm and treating my animals like your own, making me feel like I wasn’t some old man out there alone, I want you by my side more than you know”
My world in one day went from hell back to heaven all because of the man I craved the most in this world

[ MASTERLIST — DEITY MASTERLIST ]
The full moon shines down at you from the balcony window, and the light bounces perfectly off of the soft pink walls of the room. Seungmin is busy making the bed, moving the blankets and pillows from one yo to the other, and then stacking them. You’re supposed to be unpacking things, but you got distracted by the light coming in.
“Are you sure this is okay? I don’t mind requesting a room with a regular bed.” He sits gently to test it out, and runs his hands over the blanket to smooth it.
“If we don’t like it, we can switch tomorrow…but I’ve never slept on a yo, I should probably try it. Besides, you doubled everything up.”
“Yes, it should be comfortable. I slept on one when I was a kid. We only had yo’s at the Uljin house.”
Seungmin sneaks up next to you, and his touch sends a chill up your arms. It’s gotten softer, sweeter, and more frequent, the little touches he gives you. “Is it completely full? I should put my glasses on, it’s a little blurry.” He slides away and heads for the table where you set his things. You packed all three pairs he had in his drawer, and tonight he chooses the thick black frames.
“I like those with your short hair, you look cute”
He adjusts them and drapes himself over your shoulders. “Yeah?” Seungmin still feels a twing in his stomach—a little bit of awkwardness at the way you look at him and call him sweet things. He has plenty of confidence in his looks, but hearing you say it feels different. You looking him in the eyes and telling him anything feels different. It feels real.
“Yeah, it’s full…good timing”
“Can you see the rabbit?”
You look hard, and Seungmin laughs when you tilt your head. “Rabbit…oh yeah, I think I know this story.”
“You do?”
Maybe not. You’re suddenly drawing a blank, which is good, because now he can tell you why there is a rabbit on the moon. “I know that a story exists…I guess I don’t know much else about it.”
The moon disappears as he spins and guides you toward the bed. It seems perfect—the squishy doubled up mattress, the multiple pillows, and Seungmin’s body all surrounding you as you sleep. It can’t get much better. You pull down his neatly placed blanket and watch him pull his clothes off, piece by piece.
“Is it story time, or are you trying to start something?”
He laughs. His laughs have changed, too. They’re louder, and less hesitant every time you get a new one. “I’m always ready to start something…but the floors are heated and it makes me sweat. I don’t wanna sweat all over you.”
“Can we turn them down?”
“Yeah…” he slides under the blanket and pulls you closer, “but I don’t want you to get cold.”
Seungmin is now bearing some of the weight of your biggest secret, but the way he looks at you hasn’t changed. Everything is as it was before, or better; his touch, his laugh, his smile.
“Story time?”
“Yes, let me remember…” Seungmin flops into his back and closes his eyes, but his hand finds yours and squeezes. “A long time ago, in ancient times, there was a fox…yeou, a little monkey…wonsung-i, and...” He pauses, and turns his head to look at you, but your eyes are closed as you listen. “A rabbit, tokki. One day, Jeseokcheon, a king of the gods, decided to test the animals. He pretended to be a sick elderly man, and he approached the animals saying that he was very hungry. The fox, the monkey, and the rabbit decided to help him and went to look for food. The fox caught a fish and gave it to the old man. The monkey found and gave him berries. But the rabbit couldn’t find any food, and the grass he ate, it didn’t seem fit for the hungry old man to eat. He wanted something better for him. So, tokki made a bonfire and jumped into it, offering himself as food to save the old man. After seeing the sacrifice that tokki had made, the man revealed his true identity as Jeseokcheon and decided to send the selfless rabbit to the moon and make him its guardian, so that every living being could admire his sacrifice and good heart. Daltokki.”
“Tokki was willing to give up his life to help someone he didn’t even know?”
Seungmin nods. “And now he’s up there making tteok all the time.”
“Is this the rabbit on your music box?”
He nods again, and a smile pulls at one side of his face. “Umma loved daltokki.”
“I like him, too. And I’m sure I’d like your mom.” It might be too much—you keep giving him too much. You don’t know why. The time you’ve spent with him feels like years, not weeks, and everything that comes to mind ends up flying right out of your mouth. “Do you think she would like me, if she met me?”
“My mom would like you very much. She’s the reason I speak English so well. Imagine if we couldn’t speak to each other…”
“I would find a way”
“And she’s the reason I have any good in me at all, if I do”
“You do, Min”
“Sometimes I’m afraid she wouldn’t love me, or even like me anymore—the way I turned out, the way I get through my days, the awful things in my head.”
It’s not true, what he’s thinking, but you don’t know how to make him see himself the way you see him. You know what he does, but seeing him behind closed doors in his most private moments…he’s not a bad person. He’s just him, doing the bad things his brain tells him to do. Seungmin is hurting; he’s afraid, and he’s lonely…less lonely now. He’s doing terrible things, but he’s not the nightmare he claims to be.
The real nightmare is whatever happened to him—the bad dreams that plague him and make his urges worse.
“That’s not true, I don’t believe that. She would love you more than anything.” You remember the photo of the two of them, and the one of his smiling face that she probably took. “You still feel it all around you, and in your flowers…that’s how strong it is. I know you were talking to her.”
Tears are threatening to fall. You see them brimming and shining as he stares quietly at the ceiling. “Did he hurt you?”
You pause for a moment and think. The memories still come back, but you’ve gotten very good at shoving them right back down. “Sometimes. He liked to hit, but he preferred his hands over everything else…so I guess it could have been worse. My sister got my mother’s love, but she got all of his attention, too. He hurt her more.”
“Is that why you killed him, to protect her?”
“I couldn’t take it anymore. I couldn’t take another night listening to him.”
There’s some reluctance in his face, but you wait for him to get there. “How? You were fourteen. You’re small now, you must have been tiny then. How did you kill him?”
“I gave him too many heart pills. He trusted me to cook for him and feed him, so I—” you watch Seungmin’s eyes grow. “I crushed them up in his food.”
“You poisoned him”
“Yeah, I guess you could call it that. It took a few hours, but it worked.”
“Did things get better after that?”
“It was manageable. We had to move—we lived in my aunts basement until I turned 18, and then I finally left.”
Seungmin moves closer, and wraps you up in his arms. The smell and warmth of his bare skin calms you, and makes you feel homesick all at once. Homesick for what, though, the apartment? Leaving Seoul and running from something that might happen has been the best thing that has happened, in a weird way. What if you could always be like this—just the two of you, alone, surrounded by the quiet mountains?
And what if you nudged him for more of himself right now? Maybe you could get it…just some even exchange. You need to know everything about him, but you’ll take whatever little piece you can get.
“Was Daltokki one of your bedtime stories?”
“It’s a Chuseok story, but yes…sometimes she would tell it to me at bedtime when the moon was full.”
The twinge of jealousy at his normal childhood disappears as soon as you remember how brief it was, and probably not that normal. Seungmin lived in Uljin with his mother who loved him, and his stepfather who didn’t, until he was nine, but you don’t know much else. “Did she always have a story, every night?”
“Almost every night. She read me stories in English to help me learn, but she couldn’t speak it around me much otherwise…at least not if my stepfather was home.”
“He didn’t like you?”
“He despised me from the moment he saw me. I was two when my dad died, and three when my mom married him, and he tortured me for six long years—ignored me, or disciplined me whether I deserved it or not. Eventually he took any opportunity he could to…scare me, I guess...break me."
You weren’t expecting Seungmin to open up, but he may be evening out the trauma with what you gave him. Maybe enough time has passed, and his comfort with you has grown. The joint killing had to have helped that.
“He would send me to bed without dinner all the time, but he was also good at making up new punishments without mom even knowing he was doing it.”
“Oh, Minnie.” The torture he put himself through sitting on the balcony makes more sense now. It seems like the type of discipline his stepfather would come up with, and unfortunately, it stuck to Seungmin. “I’m so sorry you had to go through that.”
The blank look on his face, and the slow, thoughtful blinks, “he would lock me in that shed all night. I remember him sitting on the porch and smoking, making sure my mom didn’t wake up and see what he was doing. Not that she could stop him…”
So far, he’s said much more than you expected, and you’re not sure if he’s drained, or if talking about this has made him feel a little lighter.
“I just remembered something. I dreamt about it last night, but it may have been a memory.”
“Tell me”
Seungmin lets you place a hand on his cheek, and he closes his eyes and waits as you run your thumb across his lips.
“He drove me into the woods, the same pine forest we drove through…I’m not sure how far we went, but in my mind, as a kid, it felt like forever. Yeah, I remember sitting in the backseat and fogging up the window with my breath. I drew something in it.” He stops and sets his hand on yours. “It was cold out, it was far into winter. Just like now. We got out and walked right off the road to a clearing, and he told me run out and grab some of the nice pieces of wood to burn when we got home.”
You sigh, because you feel like you know where this is going.
The color drains from his face as he settles more into the bed. It’s as if he’s trying to find more warmth from the chill of his memory. “I listened, because I always obeyed him. I grabbed an armful of sticks, just the best ones, and I ran back to the road…and he was gone. I screamed for him, and cried for umma until I lost my voice.”
There is no stopping his tears, and finally, for the first time, Seungmin is letting you see him cry. He needs it, but you pull him close and knead your hand into his neck, so tense until your fingertips find just the right spot. You don’t interrupt—everything is quiet around his shallow, gasping breaths. As soon as you pull back to look at him, he grabs your neck and kisses, and it’s messy…wet and salty from his tears, but you kiss right back until he finally exhausts himself.
The silence carries on, and you watch him as he wipes at his cheeks and nose. You want him to keep going, but you also know when too much is too much. Are you the first person Seungmin has really unloaded his memories on, or did he have someone else to confide in at some point in the last fifteen years? It’s a long time to keep quiet.
“Sorry,” he covers his face and mumbles through his hands. “I didn’t mean to…” and takes in a deep, shaky breath. “
“Didn’t mean to what? You can tell me anything, and you can cry all over me if you need to.”
“The kiss,” he grabs a corner of the sheet and wipes at the mess he left on your face, “so messy.”
There’s a hint of a smile on his face, at least—a little sparkle in his eyes, and again, for the umpteenth time, you wonder how you ended up where you are, in a strange hotel in the mountains, with him. The seriousness of the situation you’re in was almost forgotten until right this moment, but you don’t see the point in bringing it back to the front of his mind right now. What will checking the security cameras do, except ruin the mood? Or really ruin the mood, if he sees something this time.
No, you’ll do what you can to stay right here with him.
“In my dream, I was standing in that clearing again. Me, as I am right now. But there was something there with me. I couldn’t see it, but I could hear it walking around me and scratching at bark on the trees. And something was burning, it was snowing…but not snow, it was um, from the fire…”
“The cinders…embers were falling?”
“Yes, embers. They looked like snow.”
“Scratching?" Now you start to remember. "And then?”
“I woke up, and then fell back asleep. When I woke up again, you were dreaming, so I woke you up.”
“That’s right, I was dreaming…and, what the fuck?” Everything starts falling into place. You thought about this yesterday, but the pain in your stomach pushed it out of your mind. The scratches, his dream, your dream, “you woke me up, because you heard the scratches on the door, right? And you left, and—”
“I didn't hear anything. Was this your dream? Hey, don’t cry…”
The tears come out of nowhere and without your permission, just like his did. The air you try to pull in gets stuck in your chest, and Seungmin’s hands on you makes you cry even harder. He backs off for a moment. “What is happening? Why…god, I feel crazy.” You sit up and wipe at your face. “I think I’m hearing things.”
Seungmin sighs, and you hear it through the muffled pump of blood in your ears. He’s looking at you, but he’s not *looking* at you…he’s thinking, and his eyes dart around when he notices you staring at him. “Minnie,” you move closer—almost sit in his lap, and put your arms around him.
“It’s scary sometimes”
“I’m sorry”
“It’s gone away, mostly. I think the medicine is helping that. But I can’t hear her anymore…I haven’t heard her lately, at least.”
The voices in the greenhouse, Seungmin’s auditory hallucinations. So he’s fully aware her voice isn’t actually there, or anywhere. That doesn’t matter to him, though, because he misses hearing it. “Maybe she’ll come back when we get to Uljin, when we get some flowers.”
“That would be nice”
You get back under the blankets and make yourself comfortable, “get in here.” He smiles like the heavy conversation didn’t even happen, and folds himself around you. Seungmin can keep you plenty warm without help from the heated floor. “It’s late, are you tired?”
“A little.” Despite the soft, sleepiness of his voice, his hands end up beneath your shirt and slowly work their way up your back. It’s an innocent touch, though—just a need for contact. “How is your stomach? No pain tonight, I hope.”
Fortunately, the horrible, stabbing pain eased up and hasn’t returned again. The dizziness comes and goes, but it’s not bad enough to send you to the floor. It’s nowhere near bad enough to mention and worry him again, and to let the idea of a hospital visit re-enter his mind. “No, everything feels okay.”
He replies with a kiss, a hand moving back down and squeezing your ass, then your thigh, tight enough to make you jump. Seungmin pulls your leg until you wrap it around his hip, and now you can feel what he needs. He’s not quite there, but he wants to be, and you’ll make sure it happens. A roll of your hips into his makes contact, and just enough friction to get a groan out of him. It’s nice like this, and easy…face to face, close enough to kiss and touch him.
The last few days without him, with the thought of his last fuck being with that girl, has been torture, but it felt like the wrong time when you laid in bed with him. Worrying, wondering, and sick. You’re finally here. You free him from his shorts and feel his cock grow in your hand, and lose yourself in the noises he makes as he kisses. He pulls you again, grips the back of your thigh and slides his fingers over you, but your clothes are still in his way. He grabs the thin fabric and pulls it to the side, and two fingers tease, slide between your lips, and slowly push inside of you.
“Are you comfortable like this?”
“Very comfortable”
His fingers push in and out, waiting patiently. He knows how much work it takes to get in, and Seungmin wants you wet in this new position.
“Can your leg stretch…” he grabs behind your knee and pulls it high, and he seems satisfied with how much he can spread you open. “Good,” he whispers and moans against your lips when he feels you guiding him into you. He pushes in gently, just a few inches, and then he gives you everything.
“Good,” you whine and hold tight to him as he pumps into you. “Oh…mmm, Minnie…”
“I’ve missed how you feel”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah,” he grips your waist and pulls you close, “so good.” Seungmin pants into your mouth, “so soft,” and nibbles at your lips as he finds a perfect rhythm. “Fuck…ah, jagi,” he whimpers, and mutters something in Korean, over and over as he fucks you.
If only you could understand him. All you have to go off of is *how* he sounds as he says it, and that feels good. But jagi, you know what that means.
“Nae jag-eun tokki…”
You watch his mouth form each word as he says it.
"Nae…salang…” he laughs, and you can feel him working up the courage to continue. But he’s done this already, so why the hesitancy?
You say it back to him, “nae salang”, bite gently at his lips.
He closes his eyes, and he keeps them closed even after you pull back. “Salanghae,” and he hides himself away in your neck.
“Nado salanghae”
Seungmin comes right back after your words hit his ears. You hope they hit him even harder in his own language. You’re not sure how to tell him in a way that expresses how it feels swirling around inside of you, but you made sure to learn how to tell him properly. The words in your head don’t seem big enough, and at the same time, your head is making you feel silly for feeling the way you do, and as much as you do.
Seungmin feels it, too, and he can’t look you in the eyes when he tells you. It’s still too much for him.
It’s too much for you, too. The tightness in your chest, the pounding of your heart. Your body feels like it’s somewhere else, but you feel his soft, strong hands on your back and ass, keeping you close…his lips on yours, on your cheek and neck. His hips rolling, and his cock gripped tight around you, stretching, pushing deeper and hitting right where you need it. You can’t hold yourself together, and you don’t care how thin the walls might be. Seungmin doesn’t care, either—he smiles even wider as you moan and cry his name.
“Don’t slow down,” you whine.
Seungmin holds your hips as you try to push him on his back and fuck him yourself. He resists, but lets you move on him, and he slows you down. “Not yet.”
“You feel so good”
“I’m gonna make you feel even better”
He pulls out and pushes your hips until you’re on your back, and gets you out of your panties. Seungmin is careful, but he still handles you like he’s desperate to get back inside of you. He turns you until you’re facing the window, your leg is up, held tight, and he’s in again. It does feel better like this, even at his pace—the slow push in against your g-spot numbs everything except the orgasm building.
Seungmin lets go of your leg and his fingers are on your clit, rubbing lightly, listening to you whine for him as it gets even closer. “Faster…slower?” He whispers and runs his teeth along your shoulder.
“Fast”
His fingers and his hips move faster, and he bites down.
“Fuck…fuck, I’m gonna come”
Seungmin laughs like he’s tipsy. He’s drunk on you, and his mind is numb to everything but this…fucking you just like you want it—
You feel yourself gush everywhere as your body shakes.
He slides out and feels it hit his thighs, and it keeps coming as he rubs your clit—warm, and wet, and messy. You soak the sheets, but Seungmin is still rubbing more out, and your orgasm takes its time running through you.
Seungmin breaths hard in your ear, but he’s speechless as he looks down at you, down at his fingers stroking. Another soft bite on your shoulder, and he stifles a laugh. “Wow,” he whispers as he finally slows down. But he doesn’t stop. He slides his cock into your dripping entrance. “Come for me again. Please.”
“Again?”
“Please.” He holds your leg and gives your clit a break as he works himself back to where he was. “I didn’t think you could get any more wet.”
The tone of his voice deepens, and that’s all it takes to get you going. His head hits that same spot—that perfect spot. You can feel every inch and every curve as his short, fast strokes slip in and out. Your swollen, sensitive clit throbs, and you need him to touch you, but you wait until you know he’s close. You wait…and wait, until his breath catches in his throat—until he makes the desperate noises you’re more familiar with now.
“Touch me”
As soon as his hand makes contact, yours hits, and he groans as he fills you up. You drip and squirt through his fingers as he keeps your orgasm going, and his cum mixes and runs out with yours, onto your thighs, and his…all over the sheets. He doesn’t stop until you do, and you feel another gush as he slides out. It feels too good. Whatever he did is still moving through every nerve as you hit the bed, but Seungmin can’t help but touch and slide his fingers into the mess escaping.
“Oh my god,” you pant, and try to keep your heart from exploding.
Seungmin laughs again—his tipsy laugh, like he’s not quite sure what’s going on, he just knows he feels good. “I didn’t know you could do that.” He pulls you until you’re facing him again and looks you over…eyes watering, cheeks pink, your tshirt, somehow still on, but working its way up your back, and your messy, trembling thighs.
“Neither did I”
“That was your first time?”
You nod, and collapse into his chest, “sorry, what a mess.”
“But did it feel good?” He’s smiling and giving you doe eyes when you look at him. Seungmin doesn’t need your approval, he heard you screaming…but he still wants more.
“Good?”
“Mhm. I’ve never made anyone do that before, how does it feel?”
It’s hard to describe, and it was a little embarrassing in hindsight, but… “felt like you were fucking every nerve in my body all at the same time, and every bit of tension disappeared. Probably how you feel when you come inside of me, maybe better.”
“Sounds better”
“It was intense”
“It was hot.” He slowly gets to his feet and stretches, and when he seems satisfied with how his legs feel, he heads for the closet. “Hopefully I can get you there again.”
One set of fresh sheets sits on the top shelf, fortunately, so you work on getting up and pulling off the wrecked ones. Also fortunately, it didn’t soak through both sheets to the mattress cover. But as soon as you kneel and start gathering them, another gush of cum trickles out, and you have to stop and wait for it to pass.
“I can change these, why don’t you go run a bath?”
“Seungmin, you’re very thoughtful…has anyone ever told you that?”
He thinks, but not for long. “No, I don’t think so.”
“Well, you are…you’re more thoughtful than most of the people I’ve encountered”
“I’m also a little selfish, because I’m getting in, too”
The water is as hot as you can stand it, and every time it cools down, you top it off and heat it back up.
“How did you get out of the woods?”
“Hm?”
He sounds so much more tired, and he should be.
“When you were left there”
“Oh, right. It took a few hours, but my mom finally found me. She said she drove up and down all the roads, got out and yelled for me every mile or so. Her voice carried pretty well through the trees, thankfully.”
“Did she know he left you there?”
“He told her I wandered off, but she knew better. And she also knew not to question him.”
“That had to have messed with your head, being left out there”
“It did. For a while, I couldn’t sleep through the night. I still have a letter she wrote to me not long after that, in the music box.”
The butterfly—you remember peeking and wondering about it. You almost poked around too much and read it. “The origami butterfly?”
“Yeah. And she made me wear her medallion, too. I never got to give it back.”
Now you’re much more curious about that letter. “I haven’t worn my necklace in years, I don’t know why I still carry it around with me.” A little piece of your past you can’t let go of.
“Are you catholic?”
“No, but I briefly considered confessing my sins. I never did, I was too full of attrition. It seemed pointless. Are you? Or were you?”
“No, but my mom had a lot of catholic friends when she lived in the states. I think some of it rubbed off on her, and she liked the archangels.”
You stand carefully and reach for a towel. The heat is actually starting to get to you, and the dizziness is fighting its way back. Seungmin waits for you step out, and then he follows close behind.
“Do you want the heat on?”
The room is a little chilly, especially against your damp skin, but a cool room and warm blankets might be the best idea. “No, but if you do…” You watch his towel fall away as he starts to dry his arms and shoulders, and you shouldn’t be lusting after him already, but he makes it difficult without even trying.
“We should check the cameras again”
That’s enough to get you back down to earth. You nod at him, and dig out your laptop. It’s long overdue, and should have been checked again a few hours ago, but the two of you got far too distracted when the secrets and stories started coming out.
He gets back into the fresh sheets and pulls up the footage, and this time he starts with the live feed.
“Front entrance looks okay, side entrance, too. Back door…oh, why is it propped open?”
“It’s open?”
He widens the angle, but the night vision isn’t giving much. “Yeah, it’s a fire exit. It’s supposed to stay closed.”
Seungmin’s voice changes. He doesn’t like what he’s seeing, regardless of how small and insignificant it seems—just a door left open. You can feel the tension on him, and it scares you a little. He starts the feed on the back door from where he left off earlier, and he speeds through it.
“Can you get my phone?”
He has to power it up again, and it feels like it takes forever, but the footage keeps him occupied until he can refresh the news sites from earlier. And he’s quiet as he scrolls.
“Seungmin…slow down the footage”
He stops it, goes back a few minutes, and then starts it again. “That…” he points at the top right corner, “is a police car.”
It’s the smallest corner of a headlight and front bumper.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, brand new Sonata…white, and only police cars have that blue stripe over the hood.”
Just as he finishes, two men walk into view; a cop, and another man that you can only assume is an inspector. That one goes for the door, unlocks it, and opens it exactly how it was open on the live camera.
“If it’s still open, they’re still in there.” Back to the live feed, the wide angle…and everything is suddenly lit up by a pair of headlights parking exactly where the car was before. Seungmin is quiet as he watches, but you have to assume his heart is pounding like yours is. “Yeah, they are.” Two cops walk into the shot and disappear through the open door, but this time, it closes behind them.
“Do you want me to be practical again?”
“Yes, if you don’t mind”
“They have to check. Maybe there was just enough for a judge to issue a warrant.”
Seungmin looks at you, purses his lips.
“Actually, I don’t know if it works the same here. Maybe I’m not helping.”
“No, you’re right…if I wasn’t there to grant permission, they could get a warrant. I’m assuming they did.”
“And they have to search everywhere. Knock on every door. Ask questions. You keep turning your phone off, so you may have missed some calls asking for permission. Especially with the spotty service where we’ve been staying.”
“If they search the apartment, they’ll figure out who I am, what kind of car I’m driving, where I’m from. My background is clean, but…if they can find us…and if they find something weird…”
The defeat in his eyes is surprising. You know he’s stronger than this, and smarter, but he might need time to process what’s actually happening.
“I’m sorry, Minnie. None of this would have happened if I had just left when I was supposed to.”
Now he looks truly defeated. His big, watery eyes burn right through you, but you know it’s true. You distracted him, you helped him stay on his medication, and then you continued to distract him. Seungmin had been doing very well, so you think. He was smart about his kills, and about his habits, and he probably didn’t draw attention to himself in public.
“Then I’m glad it happened”
As much as you want to slap him and tell him you were never worth all of this, it’s far too late. There is no point in dwelling on the damage you’ve caused if you can’t go back and change it—you’ll have to fix it in real time. Seungmin clearly sees something in you that you might never find, but you see in him what he overlooks, as well. If you try hard enough, maybe you can understand his growing devotion. It’s there for you, too…you’re pretty certain you would die for him.
Both of you somehow fell asleep without the help of tea or medicine, you’ll happily assume because of the comfort of each other, and the idea that you’re jumping to the next place sooner than Seungmin had planned. He doesn’t seem to mind, though. He seems like he does have a plan. He has to, because he’s had a long figure out how to protect himself in case the worse happened.
You only sleep about three hours, though, and when you wake, Seungmin isn’t under the covers next to you. He’s in the corner repacking what you unpacked not long ago.
“Sorry, did I wake you?”
“No...should I get up and get dressed?”
“Unless you’re still tired. The sun isn’t quite up yet, we have some time.”
True, but if you fall asleep again, you might wake up much more tired. And the adrenaline is already starting when you remember everything that happened. “No, I’m okay.”
Ten minutes into the drive, which will apparently be a long one, Seungmin explains his plan—which he admits isn’t completely solid…and very disjointed, but it’s all he has. “I was a little cocky. I never thought I’d actually have to worry about this.” He glances at you, “don’t look at me like that.”
“Like what?”
“Like you still think this is your fault”
“Can we at least agree that we are both at fault in some way?”
“If the guilt makes you happy”
“Thank you. Where are we headed?”
“Daegu, it’s a bit of a drive, and it’s out of the way…but it might be a good idea to switch cars”
A second car shouldn’t surprise you, but it wasn’t something that crossed your mind. “Unregistered, I’m assuming?”
“Of course”
You actually started getting used to the backroads and small towns, and after another two hours, you’re still in them. Seungmin knows his way around without any sort of direction, and no map pulled up on his phone (off again), and it makes him even more attractive to you. He may not have a solid plan, and he might be much more nervous beneath the surface, but Seungmin is capable of handling things when he has to, and all he wants you to do is sit back and watch.
“What is it?” He glances at you briefly, and merges into the far left lane that leads to Seokjeon-ri.
“Hm? Nothing”
The car slows as he turns and then you’re on a new, smaller stretch of road.
“I feel you staring at me”
“That’s because I’m staring at you”
“Because I’m so handsome?”
You watch a reluctant smile appear, and eventually, it turns into a laugh.
“Yeah, that’s exactly why”
“This isn’t even my good side”
“You have a bad side?”
He laughs again. You’re glad you can still make him laugh. “When I look in the mirror I do, yeah”
“I like both sides”
The car slows, and you force your eyes away from him to look at your surroundings. Another small town, but not quite as small as the previous two. Seungmin drives down a narrow road, barely big enough for two way traffic, and after a mile or so, he pulls into a maze of storage units. The car turns left, and right, and right again, and you eventually stop paying attention as you weave in and out of the identical rows.
“Almost there,” he glances down at his watch, and then gives you a smile. “Oh, here it is.”
It feels good to get out and stretch your legs—Seungmin does, too…he lifts his arms and stretches his back and rubs his neck as he pulls a set of keys from his pocket. Unit 3047 is the one he leads you to, and it takes him some time to get the locks, both of them, to unlock and unstick from their rusted latches. You watch as he bends and grabs the handle, pulls, and it slides up easily. The car is inside, very well covered, and this rundown looking storage unit is surprisingly nice on the inside.
“Do you want some help?”
“Yeah, come grab this side”
You walk inside, and you’re right about it being nice. It’s not cold in here—it’s well insulated, it’s finished, and the vent on the ceiling seems to be doing its job. He grabs a corner, and you follow. The first layer comes off, just a loose tarp, and now you can see the shape of the car beneath its cover. Seungmin does this one himself, pulling one side loose, and then the other. You grab a piece and pull, carefully lifting it over the side mirror. The front end is a pristine, shiny dark blue, and as you walk the cover off…
“I assumed we’d be detracting from ourselves, but—“
“But you like it, right?”
The cover falls to the ground as he starts to gather it up, and you look at it from every angle, starting at the back. Turbo on the left side, Toyota Supra on the right. “Of course I like it. And it’s my favorite color.” You’re starting to think Seungmin has a secret need for your praise and approval, which is fine. You’ll give him that all day. “It’s almost as pretty as you.”
“It’s the same age as you”
“Oh…thanks. No more compliments for you today.”
He knew it sounded wrong as soon as it left his mouth, but it was too late. “Maybe several days. Sorry, just a stupid observation.”
“It’s okay, you’re still young and awkward when you’re not being cool and charismatic.” You wait for him to unlock the doors, and then slide in. “Did you pick this out yourself?”
“No, this belonged to my dad—my real dad. He left it to me when he died.” He’s silent as he starts it, almost as if there’s some fear of the engine not turning over, but it does, and it sounds good. “Am I awkward?”
“Sometimes, but it’s cute. I mean…you’re not cute, I take that back.”
The first time taking it out of storage since last May, and he still managed to keep control on the one long, straight empty stretch of highway before getting close to Daegu. He hit 155 kilometers per hour, but just for a few seconds. He knows better than to get pulled over in this car. It’s not unregistered, like he told you, but it is registered under a different name, and the license should still be in the glove box. He didn’t double check.
“Feel better?” You say, and Seungmin looks at you stretched out in the passenger seat. “Getting a little bit of speed?”
“Yeah, sorry. It’s easy to do in this.” He slows and finds his exit, and looks at you again when he can take his eyes off the road. “What’s wrong?” Maybe nothing, but you suddenly look very uncomfortable sitting up, unbuckled, gripping the edge of the seat.
“Can you stop the car?”
He pulls off and onto the shoulder as you swing the door open, and you make it out just in time to throw up the coffee and cream bread you had an hour ago. Seungmin is out and next to you as it happens a second time, and a third, and then your face disappears in your folded arms.
“You okay?” He knows you’re probably not, and he feels a little guilty for speeding and causing this, but there’s not much else to say. And there’s not much else to do aside from rubbing his palm across your back and hoping it somehow soothes you. He hears your muffled mhm and sees the slight nod of your head, but you don’t move back to your seat. “I’ll find us a nice room and get you something for your stomach. We’re almost there.”
“I think I’m okay now”
But you’re colorless when you look at him, and your eyes are red and watery.
“Let me know if you need me to stop again”
The hotel is nicer this time, and while he is a little concerned about his now limited money, he decides he’d rather have you staying somewhere that feels more like the apartment, plus all the amenities. And now that you’re in the city, somewhere closer to a hospital—he doesn’t mention that, though.
“How long?”
“For now I booked a week”
“A week? You think we’ll stay that long this time?”
“It’s big enough here, and pretty crowded. Nobody will notice us much. How is your stomach? I can find you some dakjuk is you’re hungry.”
“Dak juk?”
“Chicken and rice porridge. It would be easy on your stomach. Or maybe just some tea if you have no appetite.” He doesn’t want to keep hovering when you don’t feel well, but at the same time, he does. You’ve already done the same for him. “Or maybe sleep is what you need.”
“We both need sleep”
“Okay, we’ll sleep…and we can worry about dinner later”
But when you say sleep, you mean getting into bed and holding him. You are tired after the last few days, especially last night, but touching and hanging on him is the necessary part of getting into bed and falling asleep. You wouldn’t even deny him if he was in the mood, because you’ve been feeling feral over the sight and the thought of him since last night. Your lust is outweighing the sour feeling in your stomach.
And that’s what you do—get him into bed with you and make him your little spoon. You kiss his neck and shoulders, touch him softly, run the tips of your fingers over his side. It only helps him relax, and he seems to quiet and fall to sleep with no trouble. Probably for the best, because you start to fall into your sleep immediately after.
Seungmin feels your hands on him, but he knows he’s still stuck in his sleep. He’s dreaming, and you’re in this one, finally. The problem is, there’s something wrong, and he can’t figure out what it is. The dream version of you is looking to him for an answer because you just want to feel okay again, but he doesn’t know what to do.
“Hmm?” Seungmin rolls over in his half-sleep, and he starts to wake up. It’s taking so much effort to pull himself out of it, though. “Tokki?”
“Minnie, I’m right here”
His arms fold you into a sleepy embrace. “I don’t know what to do.”
“Dreaming?” You rub circles over his back, “what are you dreaming about, love?”
Finally, his eyes open and he sees just beyond your shoulder. He sees the window, curtain halfway open, covered in night sky. “I’m awake.” But he doesn’t let go. “I’ll fix everything.”
“There’s nothing to fix right now. All we’re gonna worry about is what to eat for dinner.”
/ / /
Ten days…that’s how long you’ve been in this hotel suite in the middle of Daegu. Seungmin was right about not being noticed, of course. It’s not as busy as Seoul, but it’s busy enough for people to not care about you as you go about your business. It feels normal again, like being back at the apartment and occasionally leaving to stretch your legs, or get the necessities. No more shopping trips and no more splurging—it’s a good thing you didn’t have time to get used to that sort of lifestyle, because it might not be there in the future.
You come home with the only foods you’ve had any luck keeping down: ingredients for dal juk, because Seungmin makes it surprisingly well, eggs, tuna…and your favorite, which Seungmin hates—leftover rice and bananas in milk.
“I can find you some good rice pudding somewhere” is his comment every time you make it.
“You can, and then I’ll just eat both”
So now he walks the four blocks to get it every time you mention it to him.
The security cameras have given nothing significant in all of this time away, and Seungmin seems much more relaxed because of it. Neither of you have let the idea of complete safety get too far into your minds, though. You still don’t know if they found anything significant, but if they have, it was small enough to be taken out discreetly.
“We did get rid of everything suspicious, right?” He’s asked that two separate times while you reviewed footage. Both times you assured him you did.
Tonight, over dinner, you check the live feed briefly before he decides to put on the news, but there’s nothing mentioned about a missing girl, a murder, the apartment building…nothing.
“I feel like we dreamed this whole thing,” Seungmin leans back on the couch and sighs, “how can there be nothing?"
He looks inviting sitting there, even though he’s a little frustrated, “maybe we just missed it, and they looked and found nothing and started searching somewhere else,” so you climb on the couch and onto him, sit in his lap, and start the process of getting him out of his clothes. “And we can just go home soon, and this will have been a really nice bonding trip for us.”
“Bonding trip?” He jumps when you grab his sides, “yeah, I guess we did get to know each other better.” He’s told you more than he ever imagined speaking out loud. Someone sticking around and comforting him after telling his stories seems like a weird dream, too.
“And I love you even more than I thought I could”
The flutter in his stomach comes out in a nervous laugh, because it still feels so strange hearing, and it feels strange coming from him when he can get it out. But he knows you mean it, because he feels it all. “Yeah?”
Seungmin groans when you take his soft cock in your hand and stroke, and you get a mhm out after he pulls you in for a kiss. “Yeah. I love you, and your warm hands, and your sweet mouth…”
“You need me again…already?” He teases as he leans back and watches your hands on him. “Last night wasn’t enough?”
“I can never get enough of you”
He’s already getting hard, and his hips move to match the steady up and down of your hand. You’ve been all over him, needy and horny, since the night you spent at the moon dream hotel. Tired, but not tired enough. Every night, you’ve initiated, and every time, Seungmin has happily accepted your advances.
“I have plenty to give”
He watches you move to the floor and get between his knees, and your eyes move between him and his growing cock. A long, slow lick from the base to the tip of his head, and a shiver runs over him—Seungmin can feel a wave of goosebumps on his thighs, his arms, and up his neck.
It’s a lot of work, but you enjoy the act of touching and licking and getting as much of him in your mouth as you can, and you’ve gotten more and more in over the last several weeks. Seungmin loves watching your progress, and he likes watching you just like this—on your knees, taking your time, worshipping every inch of him.
Another wet lick up his length and you suck his head into your mouth, tongue him slowly as you work him in and out, a little deeper each time.
“That’s good,” he whispers and runs his knuckles across your cheek until you look at him.
Seungmin feels you gag on him—he feels the quick squeeze of your throat before you pull back, and then you do it again, and again. Both hands grip him and stroke, twist, and suddenly he’s squirming under your touch. Your tongue comes out for another taste, over his head, around it, sucking it back in while you keep stroking and slowly working his orgasm out of him. The sounds he lets slip out are less subdued each time, and Seungmin no longer cares how vulnerable you make him. The way you look at him and smile at those sounds makes him come so much harder. But by now, you usually switch up and climb on him to finish. This time you keep going—devouring as much of him as you can and stroking the rest, and it’s perfect, the rhythm and speed. You’ve gotten used to taking his cock anywhere he wants to put it, and now you want to finish right here.
“Gonna make me come…is that what you want?”
You look up and smile as you lick him.
“Yeah, you do. You hungry for it, bunny?”
“I want it”
Seungmin’s thighs tremble and his stomach tightens. His head swims, and he wants to tell you how much he loves you right now but instead he just screams it in his head. He loves you, and he loves watching you taking him like it’s the only thing keeping you going, and swallowing his cum will wash away all of your sins. It makes him feel powerful again, despite being so weak for you. You’re weak for him. Together, you could destroy each other…
Seungmin releases with no warning, but you’re still on him, pumping everything you can into your eager mouth, letting it trickle down your chin, not stopping until you're sure he's given you everything.
“Let me see,” he grips the back of your neck and so he can look at you and your mouth, overflowing with him. “Swallow.” The cum escaping is swiped up, and you close your mouth around his thumb as he pushes it in. “Good,” he coos and leans in for a kiss.
“Yeah? Was it good?”
He kisses harder, tastes himself on your lips. “It was perfect.” Seungmin smiles against yours lips, “was I good?”
“Mhm, very…I should do this more often”
A phone buzzes on the kitchen table, and it makes both of you jump. The post-orgasm bliss is cut short, but despite it, he still pulls you close for another kiss before rising from the couch.
“Is your phone on?”
“Yeah, I decided to leave it on for a few hours.” The curiosity got the better of him—wondering if someone would call, whether it was someone asking about the building, or his doctor. This call is not from his doctor, and the screen says unknown caller.
He picks it up and starts the conversation. You listen carefully though you can’t catch any of Seungmin’s quick words. It’s a short phone call, less than a minute, and when he hangs up, he looks at you and smiles.
“Who was it?”
“Senior Inspector Byeon.” He says it very casually, smiling.
“A cop? What did they say?”
“He said they’ve been trying to reach me, and I told him I’ve been in Daegu visiting family…and I asked what the problem was.” He pauses.
“And?”
“And he wanted to apologize for the intrusion on my building…and in my apartment, because of a false police report. They were tipped off and couldn’t find any evidence of the girl anywhere. Nothing on the security footage. Nothing from my tenants. They didn’t want me coming back to a surprise.”
“They didn’t find anything?”
“But if something changed, or evidence was found that linked to the building, he’d be in touch.”
“Did it sound like they were expecting to find something?”
“No, he didn’t think so”
“So we can go home?”
“Do you wanna go home?”
You think, look around the hotel room you’ve broken in, and think about how good everything has been between the two of you. “We should stay here a little longer.”
“Okay, let’s get cleaned up and go get ourselves a treat”
Seoul is safe—the apartment, the building, his bank account, so Seungmin’s pockets are suddenly bottomless again. He picks a cafe a few blocks from the hotel, and fills the table with whatever he thinks you might like; a slice of chocolate cake, a soufflé covered in caramelized bananas, a raspberry strudel, a plate full of hotteok, and two cappuccinos.
“Are we going to eat all of this?” You laugh, but immediately pick up a fork and take a bite of the cake.
Seungmin does the same, and then tries strudel. “We’re gonna try, you haven’t been eating enough.”
“I know. I have been feeling a little better recently, but I don’t like testing it.”
“We’ll have our leftovers for breakfast,” he says, but he’s distracted by a loud group walking into the cafe, all men, and probably younger than Seungmin. He knows better than to look and attract their attention, but he turns away a moment too late.
One of them speaks, but he ignores it and takes a sip of his coffee.
“What does he want?” You ask quietly.
“Nothing, just don’t look at them.”
He speaks again, to Seungmin, and then he seems to say something directed toward you. His friends don’t join in, but they don’t seem bothered by anything happening.
“Please, give it a rest,” he says softly.
A flashback to Seungmin’s temper, the bartenders bloody, broken nose, and the crack in the plaster wall. That can’t happen again, not now…not after finally being able to relax. Again, you’re in the dark listening to their fast-paced Korean—first the stranger, then Seungmin again. You can hear his anger growing.
“Hey,” your hand closes over his, “maybe we should just go.”
“Not yet”
The stranger speaks again.
“What is he saying?”
“He’s just being an ass”
Your heart jumps when Seungmin stands, and he’s at least a few inches taller than all of them. More than anything, he has a way of looking intimidating without much effort. But he’s one, and they’re three.
The cafe owner finally notices and yells at them to leave, but they ignore her.
“Min?” He doesn’t hear you, or he acts like he doesn’t. You wish he would look at you, because everything is starting to turn sideways. “Minnie?”
The anger in him is ready to spill over. Nothing would feel better than his hands around this boys neck, squeezing, crunching, destroying his windpipe and watching him writhe and gasp for air on the floor. Watching the light leave his eyes as he wondered if the things he said about you was worth his life.
The owner yells something, points over his shoulder, and all he sees is you, slowly falling from the chair and landing on the hard floor. He runs to you, and his anger disappears as if it never existed at all.
“Jagiya…what’s wrong? Open your eyes”
He hears the woman say she’s calling an ambulance, but he doesn’t want to believe that’s necessary. You just fainted because you said you get dizzy when you’re anxious. The vertigo hit when you were worried he would do something stupid, and he almost did. Seungmin could feel and see his fist meeting the boys jaw—he could hear the crack.
“Please open your eyes.” Your skin is hot. He places a kiss on your forehead, and then moves to your mouth. Seungmin can feel your slow breaths against his lips.
“Minnie, please be good,” you say, and groan in pain.
“I am…I was good”
He’s there when your eyes open. Confused, still dizzy, and now a throbbing pain in your shoulder. Seungmin looks just as confused. “What happened?”
“You passed out”
You feel stupid sitting here in a hospital bed—like a burden, like you’re wasting everyone’s time, and like you’re just causing more worry. But you can’t blame Seungmin for being concerned.
“How’s your shoulder?” He moves your gown out of the way and gently touches the red mark left by the floor.
“It’s not bad”
“I know you don’t wanna be here, I’m sorry”
“No, I just don’t think they’ll have an answer…that’s all. They’ll tell me it’s stress, or that it’s in my head and that it’ll go away. And I want my chocolate cake.”
“They did take blood, so maybe that will tell us something.” Seungmin readjusts your gown as two nurses return.
One speaks to Seungmin first, leaving you clueless, and she doesn’t give him a chance to translate. He holds his hand up and turns to you, “she said they did a few tests, but the others will take a few more hours.”
“You only speak English?” The other nurse looks at you.
“Yes”
“Are you her husband?”
“Yes,” he replies without hesitation.
“We do have some results from your blood, and you are feeling unwell because you are pregnant. Probably around six weeks, based on the information you gave us.”
“I’m what?”
“Pregnant?” Seungmin asks, and the look on his face is a mixture of confusion, and what looks like relief…maybe more than that.
“Yes, we suspected that and the bloodwork confirmed it. But it’s still very early. The morning sickness is normal at this stage, and the tiredness. All of this was making your stress worse, but knowing why should help.”
“Can we go home?”
“What’s wrong?” He pulls you against him and feels you tense up, “it’s okay…everything will be okay.”
“Probably not tonight. We’re going to give you IV fluids and vitamins since you haven’t been able to eat much lately, but you’ll be taken to the maternity floor.”
Seungmin can feel the anxiety radiating from you. He isn’t quite sure which direction his brain wants to go in right now, but of course he doesn’t want to leave you here alone for the entire night. “How long will the IV take?”
“Maybe an hour or two”
“Can we go home after that? And we’ll come back to see the doctor tomorrow.”
The nurse looks at you for a long moment, and then to him. “Alright, two hours in bed, and if you’re feeling okay, I’ll see if the doctor will release you. But I can’t promise he’ll agree.”
/ / /
Silence falls over the hotel room when you finally return three hours later, but you can tell that Seungmin wants to talk—wants to, but doesn’t know what to say. Both tests you took almost two weeks ago were wrong, but it must have been too early, and the idea of being pregnant almost left your mind with those negative results. Now you sit, wrapped in your damp towel with the knowledge of something growing inside of you. That thought is wearing you out, and so is remembering him trying to hide his true feelings when he found the discarded box. You love Seungmin, and you should be happy you’re having the baby he obviously wants, but your fear and uncertainty outweighs everything right now.
Seungmin sets a stack of clean clothes next to you, and he stands there for a moment, because the words on the tip of his tongue refuse to come out. He can sense your doubt and your worry.
“How do you feel…after the IV? I should’ve made sure you were eating enough, and staying hydrated.”
“I feel better.” You do, but you’re stuck with this uneasy stomach whether it’s from the baby or your nerves. “You didn’t know why I was sick, Minnie.”
“No, but I should have been taking better care of you anyway.” He turns and heads for the door when you both hear a soft knock. “I’ve been too distracted by everything going on.”
You hear him greet and thank whoever is there, and then he’s heading back to you with something in his hand. It’s a piece of chocolate cake—not like the one you had earlier, but it still looks good. Seungmin drops to his knees in front of you and wraps his arms around your waist, and you pull him into a hug.
“Hopefully this one is good, too”
“I’m sure it is.” A kiss on his forehead brings a smile to his face, finally. “Thank you.”
“Can we talk about it?” His voice shakes a little.
The Seungmin in front of you and the one you met almost two months ago are the same, but so different. He’s allowed himself to become soft around you, and for you—not just sometimes, and not all of the time…but most of the time. This part of him has always been in there somewhere, waiting to be coaxed out, but you’re mostly surprised because you know he stopped taking his medication after you arrived in Daegu.
“Of course we can. I wanna know everything you’re feeling right now, and everything going on in your head.”
“Everything?” He laughs. “Okay. I know I acted strange when you took your test before, and that was because I never thought I’d have a chance to experience the things that we’ve done together, and felt—the feeling of having someone so special that you could happily make a baby together. And I know I shouldn’t be, I know I shouldn’t feel that—“
“Yes you should, Seungmin”
“We aren’t really parent material…or you think you’re not, at least. I know I’m not. But maybe together, we’re different. Maybe we just need each other.”
“I need you, baby or no baby”
“Tell me what’s going on in your head”
That look he gives you makes everything feel better, and you’re starting to believe you can do anything as long as you have him. “I’m worried…I’m scared.”
“What are you afraid of? Giving birth…or caring for the baby? I’ll be there for you, for everything. I promise.”
“Yes, but I’m more worried I won’t be able to handle it. I’ve already been so sick, and I know that’s normal, but what if it gets worse? What if my body can’t do this right?”
“I’ll take care of you, whether you’re sick or not. Whether you can handle it, or you can’t. You come first.”

Hey, please, could you do male osoro x male reader? Whatever scenario you want, I just need some male osoro in my life! 😭😭
YOUR WISH IS MY COMMAND!
A Date With Osaro.
Contents: Male reader, delinquent shenanigans, Y/n is smitten with Osoro lol, as per usual not proofread so sorry if any spelling errors.
Side note: sorry I've been super delayed in requests, time management is not my strong suit.
How He Asks You Out..
Your soul nearly left your body when your crush pulled you aside in the hallway. And then you came to your senses and remembered he was regarded as one of the 'leader' of your school's delinquents. So to say you were conflicted was an understatement.
While you were deciding whether to fear for your well-being or be grateful your crush even paid attention to you. You failed to notice the ever growing blush on the face of the boy who is cornering you against a wall in the now emptied hallway. His clementine orange eyes glared over your head at the wall behind you, he knew if he looked at you he'd be rendered speechless.
Mentally cussing himself out for how lame he must look right now. He finally speaks.
"Meet me after school tomorrow outside the gates."
How you both prepare for the date.
To say what Osoro said didn't help would be an understatement. He was perfectly unclear. As you ironed your uniform, something you never usually do, you didn't know whether this will be what you wear to your funeral or to the first date with your future husband. As you brushed your teeth you didn't know whether you were about to have one or five of them knocked out after school, or was about to kiss your crush today under the setting sky.
~Meanwhile with Osoro~
Luckily for Osoro he did know what he was preparing for. But unluckily for the young delinquent, he had zero experience in dating before this. His friends were no help either, giving advice along the lines of 'if you smoke while on the date, offer him one too!' Or 'Never ask two different people out on a date on the same day." So now he stood in his bathroom, debating whether or not to even go to school today. But the thought of you standing alone waiting by the gates for him motivated him to at least give it a try.
And the date begins.
It seemed the whole school was whispering today, you tried to shrug it off but the amount of ominous 'good luck's you've heard today is enough to make you a nervous wreck. It honestly made you feel ridiculous for even thinking he'd genuinely ask you out. So now here you stand, nervously waiting for your inevitable fate.
While you were praying to every god you know of, Osoro was slowly walking over to you, equally as nervous though he'd never admit it. "Hey." He said all awkward and nervous. "Uh, Hi." You replied, trying to decide whether you wanted to look at him or avoid eye contact. Then he did something unexpected, he laughed. And smiled. You feel your face heat up immediately. "What?" You asked, now looking directly at him in confusion, people don't usually laugh at the people their about to beat up right? Right?!? To your dismay He only laughed more in your face at your reaction. "You looked exactly like a fucking frog when you were doing that!" He responded, causing you to be caught off guard. "What on earth is that supposed to mean?!?" You replied, now suddenly far more willing to square up. "Chill out, you looked cute staring off into two different directions." He said casually still smiling. 'Cute?!?' You thought momentarily before it clicked. "Wait so this IS a date?" You spoke, shock fiddling your face and voice. "What else would it be?" He asked before taking your hand and leading you to who knows where.
Osoro's hands were rough and his grip was unshakable, much like a stone in the middle of a rapid river standing strong. Osoro could hardly keep track of the direction he was going with the thought of the boy with fancy hair and shiny eyes walking hand in hand with him. Feeling butterflies grow in his stomach he picks up the pace. Rushing into various alleyways as you could barely keep up.
Osoro finally slows down when you both reach a small and honestly kinda dinky, ramen shop which looks as though it could fall apart at the touch of a hand. "You like ramen right?" He asked, letting go of your hand and turning to face you. "Uh, yeah. Who doesn't?" You say as plainly as you can, still internally freaking out over the fact this is in fact a date.
Entertaining the restaurant, you're met with a delightfully warm restaurant. With warm lighting, vintage decor from the seventies, and the smell of fresh ramen broth. You both sat at the counter, the worker greeted Osoro with a warm smile. "Osoro! Is this the boy you've been talking about?" The worker teases but quickly shuts up after a clear 'shut your trap before I shut it for you.' Glare from Osoro. You would've noticed the worker didn't even take your order before going to get the food, had you not been mesmerized by Osoro putting his golden hair up into a ponytail. If he was in ancient greece he'd be turned into a flower, he was just that handsome.
"So, how did you find out about this place?" You asked. "I hung out in the area last summer and would grab lunch here." He answered plainly, which took you aback. "Really? From what I saw there wasn't much to do in the alleyways. What did you do anyways?" You questioned as the food was placed on the counter in front of you. "Gang wars." He said casually before taking a bite of his ramen, causing you to choke on yours. "Oh, don't worry my gang won." He said with a small smile. Clearly amused by the way concern and curiosity glimmered in your eyes.
The rest of dinner was equally delightfully awkward. With you asking a generic ice breaker and Osoro replying the most casually unhinged answer. But soon enough the end of the night came, and so did your curfew.
"Thanks, this date was actually rather nice. I can't believe I actually thought you were gonna beat me up tonight." You said scratching your cheek slightly from embarrassment. "And what? Steal your lunch money?" He asked teasingly, causing you to flush and laugh at the comment. "Yeah I guess so." You replied. "Have a nice night Osoro." You said happily ending the conversation and turning to leave.
But Osoro grabbed your arm before you could turn. And before you knew it, his lips were pressed against your own. It took you by surprise, but was a nice surprise, much like this date and night.

Equilibrium
Phantom Ghoul x fem!Reader Smut
Summary: (Kinda) Part of a "Choose your own adventure" series in progress, but it works well enough on its own so I thought I would post it now.
WC: 3620
A/N: This one has bewitched me, (feral) body and soul. Fellow Phantom simps, this one is for you, but mostly me.
Content warnings: no plot - only spice, fingering, P in V sex. 18+ only. Minors DNI.
NSFW below the cut.
Your hard fist hit the door three times. Impatience was one of your most prominent traits and you’d be damned if you didn’t hate waiting on somebody else. Especially when that somebody else was the one who had plagued your thoughts for weeks. And at night his name was the one uttered from your lips from your own self-pleasure.
You grabbed the door handle and twisted, discovering much to your chagrin that was unlocked and you had been standing out here all this time. You walk into the room, scanning the space, noting the chill that bit your limbs. Fucking hells it was freezing. Your sisters told you that the ghouls run hot, but it was like a blizzard had hit the room. The room was also, to your dismay, empty of occupants. Maybe he’s not here?
Your ears perked up, hearing water running from an adjoined room. The joints of your fingers started to lock up as you lifted them to the wood of what you assumed was a bathroom door. You knocked, this time feeling a slight pain in your cold hands as you did so.
“Phantom?” You call out just loud enough, dragging out the vowels.
“Hey! You weren’t supposed to come ‘till later!” His voice echoed from inside the closed room, and you heard the water shut off abruptly.
“I can come back if you want.” You offered, giving him an out.
“Hells no!” He opened the door wearing nothing but a white towel.
Your mouth went dry at the sight. It hung low. Dangerously low. But that wasn’t the only thing you noticed. His human glamor was nowhere to be found.
Phantom’s true skin was grey, just the same as you had heard about the other ghouls, but his shoulders and chest had sparse midnight blue clusters of freckles. You marveled at the hard planes of his chest and stomach, at the way the water from the shower still clung to his arms and drenched his mostly-black hair. His signature white streak plastered itself to his forehead and the side of his face, while the rest stuck to his ears and neck. He had two near-black horns protruding from underneath his soggy hair. Finally, you settled your gaze on his face, his fangs slightly poked out through his parted lips. His beauty mark was also visible on his left cheek, several shades darker against the grey tones of his skin.
A half-smile spread on your face as you noticed his beauty spot, and you fought the urge to reach up and touch his cheek.
“Like what you see?” He cocked his head to the side, making you grin wider. It was truly no wonder why you were so drawn to him. In his human form he was cute… but as a ghoul? Strikingly handsome. Nine hells you wanted to kiss him.
“Maybe I do.”
“Set in your choice?”
“Maybe I am.” You nibbled your bottom lip, tempted to rake your gaze over Phantom’s body again.
Instead, you walked past him and into the bathroom, leaning yourself over the vanity to feign checking yourself out. You mostly just needed a break from looking at him half-naked. “My darling ghoul,” you called absently, “you’re not wearing your glamor. Sister Imperator would not be pleased, I wouldn’t want to tell on you, but…”
He looked down at himself, “Oh shit, you’re right.” He shrugged, “I thought you were going to change your mind or something. Figured it wouldn’t matter too much either way if I just ‘let it all hang out’ so to speak.”
“No, no, I just wanted to tell you so you could change back.” You played with your hair, tucking back a few strands that had come loose from your braid.
“Well, I can if you want me to. Do you?”
You opened your mouth to answer but he cut you off.
“Wait, did you just call me ‘my darling’?” Your eyes flicked back to him through the mirror, heart temporarily quivering as he repeated your words back to you.
You regained your composure before his teasing look could disarm you further. “That’s what you heard out of me talking?”
He advanced on you suddenly, barely giving you enough time to turn around to face him. You backed up against the counter top, your spine arching as you shrunk back, and your fingernails digging into the underside of the cold marble. His arms came down on either side to trap you in place.
There was a mix of anticipation and cockiness in his expression, “You like me, don’t you?”
“Phantom, it’s a wonder why Sister Imperator doesn’t consult you for logistics.” He made a face, clearly missing your sarcasm, and you liked him even more for it. “Of course I like you. I wouldn’t be here if not.”
A shy smile ghosted across his lips, and you caught another glimpse of those fangs. You filled the silence by speaking again, “Well? Don’t just leave me hanging.”
“I like you too.” His admission was softer than a feather but weighed as much as concrete.
You stifled a knowing smile, “Yeah?”
“Yeah, I do.”
“You’re a little trickster then.” You cocked your head, “you had me thinking I was the only one.”
His smile matched yours, “I’m surprised you didn’t figure it out sooner, for a while there I thought I’d burst into flames because you kept giving me those eyes.” You laughed at that, knowing full well what he meant, and he continued, “And just so you’re well aware, there’s nothing about me that’s little.”
“Oh, you nasty ghoul.”
“Yes?”
Your eyes narrowed, “You lured me in here on purpose, didn’t you?”
“Hard to say, really,” you watched, hypnotized as his tongue wet his bottom lip and then he leaned in close. “But that’s not the only thing that’s hard.” His breath coasted along your neck and goosebumps raised along the path, as if your skin was subconsciously reaching for him. You felt his lips barely hovering by the shell of your ear, causing a stirring sensation that shot through your entire body.
You shoved at his chest playfully and he smirked at you, both of you knowing where this is going. You felt a fluttering in the pit of your stomach and finally allowed yourself to reach your hand up, brushing the white and black, slightly air-dried, hair away from his face. No more hesitation. Something inside you gave you the gumption to raise up on your tiptoes and kiss him. You planted a single smooch on his lips, closing your eyes as you did.
You drew back, studying his features. He was so still, his eyes scrunched closed in a combination of tension and serenity.
“Phantom?”
He opened his eyes, his dark gaze devouring you. The air in the room changed and all ambient sound seemed to have been sucked into a void. You couldn’t look away from him. Afraid for a half of a second that maybe he didn’t like the kiss, you opened your mouth to allow the doubt to pour out. But you never got a single syllable out before his hands were on your face, tilting your head up to kiss you.
His mouth met yours in a breath-stealing kiss. Your hands immediately laced through his damp hair, touching the sides of his face, his neck, pulling him in closer. You parted your lips slightly on the next kiss and he used it to his advantage, his tongue swiping ever so lightly between your lips to taste you. You open your mouth more, allowing him full access. Feeling his tongue brush yours made you lightheaded.
Phantom grabbed your waist, pulling you flush against him. He tilted his head slightly, deepening the kiss. The hunger shared between the two of you felt as though it had been building for years, your entire life even. A tickle on the back of your thigh made you jump, opening your eyes and breaking the kiss for a moment.
He huffed a laugh, “Sorry, my tail seems to have a mind of its own sometimes.”
“It’s okay,” you kissed him again, “I like it.” You brazenly reached around his waist to feel the base of his tail. He jerked involuntarily towards you and you felt his hard length pressing against your abdomen. How that towel was holding up you had no idea.
Touching, tasting, breathing him in, it wasn’t enough. You needed so much more. Your core ached in a way that silenced all thoughts of self-doubt and modesty.
Your hands moved up his back, feeling his warm skin and the tight muscles underneath. He unzipped the back of your dress, and you felt it fall open, the air and his hands touching your bare skin underneath.
“No bra?” He said, sliding your dress down while moving into a crouched position in front of you.
“Hm.” You purse your lips, drawing it out, “That’s not all.”
He made a sound like you’d imagine a Victorian man seeing a woman’s ankles. Astonished but intrigued. “No underwear?”
You shrugged, “Surprised? I thought I could just ‘let it all hang out’, or however you put it so eloquently.”
Phantom stared up at you, trying to hide a smile, and you could see a color creeping up over his cheeks. Could a ghoul even blush? He giggled lightly, shaking his head at you in what seemed like amazement.
He helped you step out of the dress, his eyes sweeping over your naked frame, drinking all of you in. Phantom rose slowly and his long fingers trailed up the inside of your legs. The calluses of his fingertips tickled, making you twitch slightly as they neared where you wanted to feel him the most. His right hand moved around to your waist, the other hesitated between your legs, just an inch or so from your core.
“Sit.” He commanded. You obeyed, your ass meeting the countertop, your legs parting on their own accord in silent invitation.
“Please, Phantom, touch me.”
“As you wish.”
You inhaled sharply as his middle finger swiped through your folds, dragging languidly in the wetness there. He let out a needy noise, leaning down to breathe you in, kissing and sucking your neck. You wanted him so badly, and now that he could feel that, the implication made you even more weak for him.
His middle and ring fingers dragged again through your wetness, lingering for a moment before pressing inside you.
You cried out at the intrusion, wincing slightly. It had been so long since you had a partner, and still your fingers never made you feel like this. Phantom knew all the right moves, drawing in and out at a steady pace. His fingers felt exquisite as they lazily fucked your slick cunt. And when his thumb pressed lightly against your clit, you whined his name. Suddenly you needed to see him exposed too, because if just his fingers made you feel so good then…
“You won’t be needing this.” You pulled his towel off his body, baring him before you. Your eyes widened at the size of him. Fuck. Your mouth salivated at the sight of his long, hard cock. You couldn’t stare too long, as his lips moved from their place on your neck and collarbone back to your lips.
Each kiss, every touch was hotter than the last, igniting the two of you. He was burning up. He felt perfect against your ice cold skin. Like a day of sun in the middle of a desolate winter.
You had half a mind to beg him to fuck you on the counter, and it’s like he knew were about to speak, because he interrupted your thought with an even more tantalizing suggestion.
“Can I fuck you in the shower?”
You moaned, his fingers curling inside you deliciously, “What do we say when we want something, darling ghoul?”
He groaned, his hand moving from your waist to the nape of your neck. He gathered your braid and yanked sharply, exposing more of your neck for him to lavish. “Fuck,” he uttered between bites along your soft skin, “can I please take you in the shower?”
“Yes.” Your word was barely out of your mouth when he planted another fierce kiss to your lips. His fingers left you empty as he helped you off the counter. You would have followed him anywhere at that moment, anything to get him touching you again.
He took you by one hand and walked towards the shower with you, kissing you every step of the way until your feet hit the slick stone of the shower floor. He gave your hands a squeeze to turn around and turn the water on. You smirked at seeing his cute butt, his tail protruding from just above. You were filled with the sudden urge to bite him when a large waterfall nozzle poured water out from above the two of you, bringing you back out of your thoughts.
Phantom turned to face you again, and all the sustenance in the world couldn’t quench the hunger in his eyes. Your adrenaline spiked then - or maybe it was the momentarily cold water splashing on your feet. Maybe it was the anticipation of knowing that you were finally living the fantasy you had wanted for so long.
He pressed you against the tiled wall of the shower, the now warm water flowing down providing sweet relief for your chilled naked body. Your back was cold against the tile, so you wrapped your arms around the back of his neck to pull him closer. For warmth.
The two of you shared a series of messy kisses, your lungs suffocating from the intense lack of air as steam circled you. He closed the open space between your bodies quickly, his strong hand taking hold of your right leg and lifting it up to meet his waist. Once there, you were just one slight move from being as close together as you could possibly be. The head of his cock nudged at your opening, and you felt yourself instinctively clench with want. The water from the shower did a great job making your whole body wet, but you were dripping with need for him.
“Are you sure you want to do this?”
Your gaze moved up to his. Phantom’s dark eyes were clouded with lust, but wavered in slight trepidation. He was serious, wanting your full consent before going any further. For a beat, your heart stuttered in your chest, knowing there would be no going back if you two did this. You couldn’t say no, though, there was something primal in you that screamed with demand. He was the only one you wanted, and you wanted him desperately.
Heart still pounding, you reached up to touch his cheek and pulled him down into a passionate kiss. You broke the kiss to give him your answer, “Yes, yes Phantom, I want you.”
He nodded, eyes flicking over your face to search for any hits of doubt. Satisfied with your sincerity, he nuzzled his face into your neck, breathing you in deeply as he pulled you in. His cock pressed inside you with ease, meeting no resistance. You bit back a moan, teeth sinking into your bottom lip so hard you tasted iron on your tongue. If kissing him for the first time was ecstasy, feeling him inside you for the first time was oblivion.
“Oh fuck.” Your foreheads pressed together and you exhaled heavily as he sheathed himself inside you.
It was like a switch had flipped, you two went from frantic grasping and fevered kisses to slow, intentional movements. His right hand cradled the back of your head as he thrust into you with a deep rhythm that made your stomach tighten. He raised your right leg up higher so you were on your tiptoes, trying to press further inside you.
The water from the shower head cascaded down your skin in rivulets, adding a tickling sensation over your breasts and your stomach as it trickled over you. It felt like something out of a fucking romance novel. The heat, the chill, the need, the gratification; a perfect equilibrium.
His hand grabbed greedily at your left thigh, “I need you closer.”
A feather of a laugh lifted the corners of your lips, “I don’t think that’s possible.” You kissed him again, sucking his bottom lip into your mouth and biting it. He growled, fangs jutting out to try to bite you back. You moved your face away, seeing the playfulness in his pitch-dark eyes mixed with something mischievous.
“It is.” That was the only warning he gave before he lifted you up effortlessly off the floor. Your legs wrapped reflexively around his waist and you gasped at the sensation of weightlessness.
You felt a furious blush burn over your face and neck, flustered at the ease with which he picked you up. Flushed at the way his cock bottomed out inside you fully. Your walls tightened from the additional intrusion, and you moaned into his mouth. Your lips collided together in a series of heady open-mouthed kisses, becoming a mess of teeth, tongues, and fangs.
Your hands tangled themselves perfectly in his drenched hair and you rested your head against the tile to get a good look at him.
His dark brows were drawn together, and he had the look of utmost concentration and pleasure on his face as he drove into your heat. There was a deepening of the color on his cheeks again, a soft blush. He adjusted his hands from your thighs to have one arm firmly around your back, the other hand holding the roundness of your ass. Phantom’s eyes were turned down, and you followed where he was looking.
You let your gaze drift down, admiring again his toned, hard body against your soft, squishy one. When you looked all the way down to where you two were joined, watching and feeling everywhere each and every thrust of his cock inside you, you felt like you would melt.
It was all so intimate, too intimate for your first time together. Seeing his true form, being held so tightly in his arms, fuck, he had you. He had you so well. And the way he felt inside of you was divine. Like you were made for each other.
Your body burned, your muscles trembled, your jaw twitched. Phantom tightened his hands on your waist and back, his claws scratching at your supple skin while his teeth and tongue took turns with your neck. His tail snaked up and twisted around your ankle, locking you further in place as if you’d run away on your own. You couldn’t even think of being apart from him. You never wanted him to leave your body.
As if the passion in the moment wasn’t enough, he reached a hand between you two, finding your clit and rubbing slow circles. You keened, bucking your hips forward, trying to grind harder against him, but he was in full control, holding you steady while he increased his rhythm. You felt a tension building in your abdomen, and you closed your eyes tightly, trying to resist your impending orgasm. You didn’t want to come yet, you wanted to draw it out more, but the added pressure on your clit from his thumb was butchering your resolve. Your breathing increased, every exhale punctuated by a whine as you felt yourself getting closer, and closer.
He noticed your futile writhing in his arms, “Are you going to come for me, pretty girl?”
You mewled, “Yes - but I want you to -” you couldn’t finish the sentiment, incoherent babbling becoming all you could muster. You were so close.
“You want me to? Where do you want me to come?”
“Inside me -” Your legs tensed, your abdomen tensed, your whole body locking up as your pussy clenched around him. You could no longer breathe or think.
“Fall apart for me, only me.” He kissed your neck, sucking on the skin there before drawing back. “Look into my eyes, sweet girl.”
You did, his near-black irises melted you from the inside. That taught string that had been holding you snapped, sending you spiraling. Your mouth fell open and a moan tore its way from your throat. He planted his lips to yours as you shattered in his arms.
His hands both moved up to your shoulders, pulling you down hard onto his cock as he drove himself as deep within you as possible. You felt him twitching inside you, warmth spreading as he came for you.
You stay there for a minute, your breathing returning slowly to a normal cadence as the water continues to run over the both of you. You were wholly grateful for his inhuman strength; Phantom held you like you weighed nothing. He put one hand under your rear and the other came up to your face, his thumb stroked your bottom lip. His fingers caressed your chin, tilting you up and into one final searing kiss to seal your shared passion.
“Can you stand?” He withdrew himself from you and moved to gently place your legs back down on the stone floor.
“I - I think so.” Your stubborn legs wanted to give out, all your body wanted to do was collapse in a heap.
He offered you his hand, helping steady you. “Want to get cleaned up? I mean, we might as well since we’re already in the shower.”
“Yes,” you answered, before playfully adding, “please.”
“What am I going to do with you?” He whispered, kissing your forehead as you both relaxed in the steady stream of water.

Being jealous of a dog taking all your attention
Anon asks: hi! Can I please request what will be BTS members reaction (only for V, Suga, Hobi, JK) when they left their dogs at their crush's house for a few days but when they come back to take them home, their pets had become very fond and clingy towards their crush and refuses to leave with their owners?
Anon asks: Hello👋 Can I please request BTS headcanons where they get jealous when their crush keeps playing with yeontan or bam and pays less attention to them? Thank you ❤️😊
Note: I combined the two requests, as I feel like writing them sepretly would just turn out a little repetitive. I hope you enjoy!
♡Seokjin♡
Regrets letting Jungkook bring Bam over because you hadn’t left your spot on the sofa cuddling with him all evening. He’s beside you, side-eyeing the cute scene between the two of you, and Bam is side-eyeing him right back. It’s funny to watch Jin and Bam go back and forth, play fighting over you all night.
♡Yoongi♡
He had been grateful for you to watch over Holly when he had to go out of the country for business at the last minute. He had been so excited to reunite with him but was left mopey as Holly ignored his calls and stayed cuddled up at your side. He is happy Holly likes you so much but would prefer his dog loving the both of you at the same time :’)
♡Hoseok♡
Mickey’s usually so chill and loving on him, he's disappointed to see him running around trying to avoid going back home. He’s betrayed, playing up his sad tone in an attempt to get Mickey to come to comfort him- but no, Mickey is only interested in you.
♡Namjoon♡
Yeontan was cute and all, but he was being a menace today. You had run into Taehyung at the park, immediately taking an interest in playing with Yeontan instead of finishing your walk with Namjoon. He swears to you that Yeontan knew what he was doing- barking at Namjoon when he tried to pull you away and playfully chasing after him.
♡Jimin♡
Regrets dog sitting Holly for the night. It was supposed to be a date night with you, but it seems that Holly has taken his place. Jimin should be the one cuddled up in your lap watching the movie, not Holly. He’s pouting at you and the dog until you tell him to just come over and cuddle too.
♡Taehyung♡
He’s about to tear up because he’s so happy Yeontan loves you so much and he’s so happy about it, but also because Yeontan wouldn’t even spare a glance at him now that he’s spent a few days with you. Yeontan is running around your feet, trying to stop you from leaving so Tae just has you stay over not able to break his poor dog's heart and send you off.
♡Jungkook♡
He and Bam are competing at his point. He’s telling Bam that you’re his partner, not his because Bam just seems to be set on taking his place next to you. They’re playfully fighting and wrestling all day, and when Bam loses he’s standing next to the sofa side-eyeing the two of you cuddled up together.

𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄, 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐍𝐎𝐖— elisa de almeida
elisa de almeida x fem!reader
(a/n: something small and cute for the elisa girlies (as well as self-indulgence), probably some grammatical errors so keep your expectations low, but anyways, enjoy luvvies ^_^)
word count: 598
genre: fluff
As the year ended and the football season was slowly coming to a pause, you stood on the sidelines of the pitch along with your fellow PTs, bundled up in scarves and gloves, watching the ladies’ training session that taking place in the sharp winter chill, discussing the necessary next steps for the team before they split up for the winter break. Elisa with a slight limp, as she ran, had caught your eye (for a long while at that), hoping that she knew to come see you afterwards.
Once the session was over, the young Parisian was back in the clinic as you anticipated, a small sympathetic smile lifted your cheeks slightly as she greeted you.
“You’re quite a trooper, you know,” you said quietly as you washed your hands in the corner of the room, with Elisa humming in response, letting out a small laugh as she lay on the treatment couch. “But as I said before, please stop turning your hip inward,” you scolded her softly, sitting on your stool, eyes softening as you traced the features of her face.
“Practice was great, my love, thank you for asking,” she answered back sarcastically, you playfully hit her arm, knowing that she wasn’t supposed to address you as anything but your name.
Carefully peeling the kinesio tape off her left thigh that held up her hamstring. Rubbing oil onto her soft skin, you began massaging the muscle, letting her ramble on about formations for the next set of games coming up in late January.
“The Ajax game should be alright, considering–” she let out a small shriek as you were knuckle-deep in a tender spot on her thigh, she watched your movements, glancing at the club crest on your top.
You remain unfazed as your eyebrows furrowed, examining the spot, “you didn’t tell me about this before,” you looked at her apologetically, soothing her thigh “with that, you mentioned that your calf was causing you some issues?” you questioned Elisa.
She nodded as her face lit up with a playful smile, “yeah but this was at home, not here at the clinic,” she teased, combing a hand through her hair.
“So technically, this is new information to you.” you both said in unison, with you letting out a small chuckle. Your face quickly dropped as you scrutinised her calf, seeing how tight it was, raising an eyebrow as you questioned her again.
“Elisa.” You perked up, she noticed your change in demeanour, making her sit up slightly. “Have you been doing the stretches I showed you?” you eyed her, quite serious and sombre, as you waited for an answer.
The Saint-Germain player looked up at the fluorescent lighting, scratching the back of her neck, she could feel your eyes on her. The silence for what felt like minutes which was only a couple of seconds, was all you needed as an answer. You sighed as you spun around once on the stool, thinking of whether to lecture her or to make a joke, Elisa interrupted your thoughts.
Your girlfriend quietly watched you contemplate, “I know but before you lecture me, the calf pain just never crosses my mind, I’ve gotten used to it,” she looked on at you regretfully as you frowned at her, “I promise, once we’re back from our trip, I’ll do them properly.” she held out her pinky finger as a promise, knowing that you couldn’t be upset for long.
A comforting smile appeared on your face as you interlocked your pinky with her, your matching bracelets tinkled together.
“You’re lucky you’re cute.”

i really enjoyed the recent fic of urs where the sakuverse characters were turned into cats !! could u maybe create another version, but with the listeners turning into cats instead ? ꉂ(ˊᗜˋ*)
Ofcourse I can Len…Marston damn you really did convert went from having like 25,000 Xanthus request now they all be Andrew..where’s the loyalty in all truths I have done this version of the story before it just got scrapped
Paws and prejudice
oh no the wizard is back but instead of turning the Sakuvohs into a cat the wizard turns YOU into a cat
Luca
Luca was peacefully reading on the couch, Mocha curled up at his feet, when a familiar, spine-chilling laugh echoed through the apartment. He froze, his book slipping from his hands.
“No… no, no, no, not again,” he muttered, standing up and scanning the room.
Before he could do anything else, a puff of glittering smoke appeared in the middle of the living room. The Wizard—yes, that wizard—emerged, his staff gleaming with mischief.
“Hello, young lovebirds!” the Wizard announced, his eyes twinkling with glee. “Did you miss me?”
“No!” Luca snapped, his voice higher-pitched than usual. “What do you want now gandolf? Haven’t you done enough?!”
The Wizard tilted his head, mock hurt painting his face. “But Luca, dear boy, you were such fun last time! I thought I’d mix things up.” He twirled his staff dramatically, pointing it directly behind Luca.
“Wait, behind me?” Luca spun around to see you standing there, looking utterly baffled.
“Hey, Luca, what’s—” Before you could finish, a bright flash of light consumed the room.
When Luca’s eyes adjusted, you were gone. Instead, sitting on the floor in your place, was a… cat.
Luca stared, wide-eyed. “Oh no. Oh no, no, no, no.”
The Wizard cackled. “A perfect match for your precious Mocha, don’t you think?” With that, he vanished into another puff of glitter, leaving Luca standing in stunned silence.
You—now a sleek, slightly disgruntled-looking cat—let out an incredulous meow.
“Mc?!” Luca crouched down, panic written all over his face. “Oh my god, it’s you, isn’t it? Please tell me that’s you!”
You meowed again, flicking your tail in annoyance.
“Oh no,” Luca groaned, running a hand through his hair. “This can’t be happening. How am I supposed to fix this?! I don’t even know where that wizard lives! Do wizards have homes? Or lairs? Oh god—what if you’re stuck like this forever?”
You padded up to him, headbutting his knee to calm him down.
“Okay, okay,” he breathed, sitting cross-legged on the floor. “We’ll figure this out. Together. Somehow.” He reached out to scratch behind your ears, and despite everything, you purred.
Luca couldn’t help but chuckle softly. “I mean… you’re still cute as a cat, I’ll give you that. But I don’t think you’re going to enjoy being stuck on a diet of kibble.”
Mocha wandered over, sniffing at you curiously before letting out a friendly chirp. You shot her a look that could only mean, I am not amused.
“Alright,” Luca said, standing up with determination. “First, I’m going to find that wizard. And second—well, I don’t know what second is yet, but we’re fixing this.”
You meowed again, pawing at his leg as if to say, You better fix this.
Luca bent down to scoop you up, holding you gently but firmly in his arms. “Don’t worry,” he murmured. “I’ve got you. No matter what.”
And with that, the two of you—well, Luca and Cat!You—set off to track down the mischievous wizard once and for all.
Isaac
Isaac had just finished organizing a pile of case files when a familiar shimmer of light flooded the living room. He turned sharply, his instincts kicking in before logic could catch up. Standing in the center of his home, smirking as if he owned the place, was the wizard from before.
"You again," Isaac growled, his hands clenching into fists. "I thought I made it clear I wasn’t in the mood for your tricks."
The wizard laughed, twirling his staff with an air of theatricality. "Oh, Detective, you were such fun the last time. But I’m not here for you today."
Isaac’s eyes narrowed, a chill creeping up his spine. “What do you want?”
Before the wizard could answer, footsteps echoed from the hallway as Pickle walked in, carrying a plate of cookies. They stopped mid-step, their eyes darting between Isaac and the uninvited guest.
"Uh… Isaac?" they said hesitantly. "Who’s this?"
"Trouble," Isaac replied, his voice taut.
The wizard’s grin widened. "Oh, your little partner! How quaint. It seems you’ve both been living quite peacefully since our last encounter. Let’s... shake things up, shall we?"
Before Isaac could react, the wizard raised his staff, a flash of golden light erupting from its tip. Pickle dropped the plate with a startled gasp, the cookies scattering across the floor.
When the light faded, Isaac blinked—and found a small, fluffy cat sitting where Pickle had stood.
"...Pickle?" he asked, his voice low and disbelieving.
The cat looked up at him with wide, familiar eyes and let out a tiny, plaintive meow.
The wizard clapped his hands together, clearly pleased with himself. "Much better, don’t you think? They make quite the adorable feline."
Isaac’s jaw tightened, his fury simmering beneath the surface. "Turn them back. Now."
"Where’s the fun in that?" the wizard replied. "Perhaps this will teach you both a lesson in humility."
Isaac took a step forward, his tone dropping into a dangerous growl. "You have no idea who you’re dealing with. Fix this, or I’ll make you regret ever stepping into my home."
The wizard laughed, clearly unfazed. "Oh, I’ll leave you two lovebirds to sort this out yourselves. Good luck, Detective." With a final wave of his staff, the wizard vanished in a puff of smoke, leaving Isaac standing alone with the now-feline Pickle.
Isaac knelt down, his piercing green eyes softening as he studied the small cat sitting on the floor. "Pickle?" he murmured.
The cat let out another small meow and padded closer, brushing against his leg in a gesture that was both affectionate and apologetic.
Isaac sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Of all the things that could’ve happened today…"
He reached out carefully, scooping them into his arms. Pickle’s tiny body fit perfectly against his chest, their soft fur warm under his hand. Despite the absurdity of the situation, a faint smile tugged at the corners of his mouth.
"You’re lucky you’re still cute," he muttered, cradling them gently.
Pickle purred, the vibration a soothing hum against his chest.
The next few hours were… an adjustment.
Isaac set up a cozy makeshift bed for Pickle on the couch, though they stubbornly refused to use it, preferring instead to curl up in his lap whenever he sat down.
He tried to focus on his work, but Pickle had other ideas. They climbed onto his desk, swatting at his pen as he attempted to jot down notes.
"Pickle," he said warningly, raising an eyebrow. "I’m trying to work here."
The cat blinked up at him innocently before batting at his pen again.
Isaac sighed, leaning back in his chair. "You’re lucky I have a soft spot for you."
Pickle hopped into his lap, curling up with a satisfied purr. Isaac shook his head, a small smile breaking through his stern exterior.
Later that evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, Isaac sat with Pickle in his lap, stroking their fur absentmindedly.
"We’ll figure this out," he murmured, his voice low and soothing. "I’ll find that wizard and make him undo this. I promise."
Pickle looked up at him, their eyes filled with a mix of trust and affection.
Isaac leaned down, pressing a gentle kiss to the top of their head. "Until then, you’re staying right here with me. No more wizards, no more trouble. Just us."
Pickle let out a soft meow, their purrs filling the quiet room.
Isaac’s resolve hardened. He would find the wizard, no matter how long it took. And when he did, he’d make sure nothing—and no one—ever messed with his Pickle again.
Andrew
Andrew had barely recovered from his last encounter with the eccentric wizard. He was just settling into a rare quiet evening with Darling when the unmistakable sound of a cane tapping against wood echoed in the room.
He looked up sharply. "No."
The wizard grinned, his beard practically shimmering with mischief. "Ah, Andrew! A delight to see you again."
Andrew stood, already exasperated. "Whatever you're planning, don't—"
But before he could finish, the wizard pointed his staff at Darling, who was sitting on the couch with a mug of tea.
“Wait, what—” Darling began, but the room flashed with light, and where Darling had been, a small, fluffy gray cat now sat in their place, blinking wide, confused eyes.
The mug toppled over, spilling tea onto the floor.
Andrew froze. “You did not just—”
The wizard chuckled. “A little balance in the universe. You got your turn, now it’s theirs!”
Before Andrew could launch himself at the man, he vanished in a puff of smoke, leaving behind only a faint scent of lavender and chaos.
Andrew turned his attention to the cat. “Darling?”
The cat looked up at him, tail flicking. Their eyes—still unmistakably theirs—narrowed in what could only be described as irritation.
“Of course,” Andrew muttered, running a hand down his face. “Because why not?”
Over the next hour, Andrew did his best to manage the situation. Darling, however, seemed intent on making it difficult.
When he tried to pick them up, they bolted under the table. When he brought over a bowl of water, they gave him a look that screamed really? When he sat on the couch, trying to think of a solution, Darling jumped onto his lap, batting at his tie with smug precision.
“Don’t think I can’t tell you’re enjoying this,” Andrew grumbled, watching as they stretched luxuriously, their little paws curling.
They meowed, and it sounded suspiciously like a laugh.
Andrew sighed. “You’re insufferable as a person and as a cat. Impressive consistency.”
Darling climbed onto his shoulder, settling there like they owned the place. Andrew felt a purr rumble against his neck and rolled his eyes, though his lips twitched with an unwilling smile.
The wizard reappeared later that night, looking far too pleased with himself.
“Well, Andrew? Enlightened yet?”
“Change them back. Now.” Andrew’s voice was calm, but his eyes were dangerous.
The wizard raised an eyebrow. “No gratitude? I thought you’d appreciate the symmetry.”
“I don’t appreciate anything about this,” Andrew said tightly. “Especially since someone spent half the evening shredding my notes.”
Darling, still perched on Andrew’s shoulder, batted innocently at his hair.
The wizard chuckled. “Alright, alright. I’ll undo it. But only because you asked so nicely.”
He waved his staff, and in another flash of light, Darling was back to their human form, looking disoriented but otherwise unharmed.
Andrew quickly wrapped an arm around them, steadying them. “You okay?”
Darling nodded, rubbing their eyes. “Yeah, I think so.” Then they smirked. “But you have to admit, I made a pretty great cat.”
Andrew stared at them, exasperated. “You destroyed half my work!”
“Don’t leave papers where they’re so easy to shred,” Darling replied cheekily, leaning into his side.
The wizard disappeared once again with a satisfied hum, leaving Andrew shaking his head.
“Next time,” he muttered, “we’re getting a restraining order against that man.”
Darling laughed, reaching up to ruffle his hair. “Relax, Andrew. At least you didn’t get turned into a cat again.”
“That’s not the comfort you think it is,” he said, but his arm tightened around them nonetheless.
Elias
Elias stared at the tiny, fluffy creature sitting in the middle of the living room floor, blinking up at him with wide, unmistakably Barista-like eyes.
“Oh, come on!” Elias groaned, running a hand through his hair. “Why is it always cats with that guy?”
Barista—now a small, gray tabby—let out an irritated meow and pawed at the hem of Elias’s jeans, clearly demanding he do something.
“I know, I know,” Elias muttered, crouching down to look at them more closely. “I’ll fix it, I promise. Just... give me a second to process this, alright?”
Barista sat back, tail flicking in irritation.
“This is ridiculous,” Elias continued, pacing the room. “First, he turns me into a cat. Now it’s you. What’s next? Warden? Tara?”
Barista let out another insistent meow, clearly unimpressed with his rambling.
“Okay, okay,” Elias said, holding up his hands. “Let’s think this through. Where is that wizard? Did he just poof away like last time?”
Barista nodded—or at least, it looked like a nod.
“Of course he did,” Elias muttered. “Why stick around when you can just turn people into cats and leave?” He sighed and turned back to Barista. “Alright. First things first—you’re okay, right? No weird side effects? No sudden urge to chase mice?”
Barista gave him a flat look, their tail flicking again.
“Right. Dumb question,” Elias said, smirking a little despite himself. “You’re still you. Just... smaller. And furrier.”
Barista let out a small, pitiful meow and hopped onto the couch, curling into a tiny, defeated ball.
“Oh, hey, don’t do that,” Elias said, sitting down beside them. He gently scratched behind their ears, and Barista immediately leaned into the touch, purring despite their annoyance.
“See? Not all bad,” Elias teased, grinning. “You’re still cute. Just in a different way.”
Barista swatted at him with a tiny paw, but the purring didn’t stop.
“Okay, okay,” Elias said, chuckling. “No more jokes. Let’s figure this out.”
He pulled out his phone and started scrolling through his contacts. “I’ll call Tara. Maybe she can help track down our favorite spell-happy wizard and—”
Before he could finish, there was a loud pop, and the wizard appeared in the middle of the room, looking as smug as ever.
“Enjoying the transformation?” the wizard asked, stroking his beard.
“Are you serious?” Elias snapped, standing up. “What is your deal with turning people into cats?”
The wizard shrugged. “It’s a hobby.”
“Well, your hobby sucks,” Elias shot back. “Change them back. Now.”
The wizard raised an eyebrow. “What’s in it for me?”
“How about I don’t throw you out the window?” Elias growled, stepping closer.
The wizard chuckled. “Alright, alright. No need to get violent. Hold still.”
With another pop, Barista was back to their human self, sitting on the couch with a dazed expression.
Elias immediately dropped to his knees in front of them, cupping their face in his hands. “You okay?”
Barista nodded, blinking a few times. “I think so.”
“Good,” Elias said, pulling them into a tight hug. “Because if that guy had turned you into anything else, I don’t know what I would’ve done.”
The wizard cleared his throat. “Well, my work here is done. Until next time!”
“There won’t be a next time!” Elias shouted as the wizard disappeared with yet another pop.
Barista let out a soft laugh, leaning against Elias. “At least he didn’t turn you into a cat this time.”
“Yeah, well,” Elias said, holding them closer. “Next time, we’re investing in some anti-wizard charms or something. I’m not risking this again.”
Barista smiled, pressing a kiss to his cheek. “Agreed.”
Xanthus
Xanthus was already on edge the moment he stepped into the shadowy woods. He could feel the magic lingering in the air, thick and stifling like a storm waiting to break. His coat swirled around him as he stepped carefully over gnarled roots, silver eyes scanning for any sign of trouble—or the wizard who had been a thorn in his side for far too long.
But as he approached the clearing where he had last sensed your presence, something wasn’t right. You weren’t there, but instead, a small, trembling ball of fur sat in the center of the mossy ground.
“...Love?” Xanthus called, voice sharp and wary.
The creature perked up at the sound of his voice, and Xanthus froze as a pair of wide, familiar eyes looked up at him. Except they weren’t your eyes—they belonged to a cat.
A very confused, very fluffy cat.
“Oh, for the love of—” Xanthus muttered, pinching the bridge of his nose. He crouched down as the cat scrambled toward him, tripping over its own paws before pressing against his knee with a pitiful meow.
You. Of course, it was you.
He sighed, picking you up carefully and holding you at arm’s length. “I’m assuming this is the wizard’s doing again?”
You let out an indignant meow, your tiny tail swishing furiously.
“I’ll take that as a yes,” Xanthus said dryly, tucking you against his chest as he stood. “You couldn’t have just stayed inside for one day, could you?”
Another meow. This one sounded suspiciously guilty.
As he carried you back toward the manor, Xanthus’s mind raced with possibilities. He needed to find a way to reverse the spell—and quickly. But for now, he had a much bigger problem.
You, apparently, had no intention of behaving like a normal cat.
The moment he set you down in his study, you bolted onto his desk, knocking over a stack of papers and scattering them across the floor.
“Seriously?” Xanthus growled, snatching you up again before you could knock over his ink bottle. “If I didn’t know better, I’d say you were enjoying this.”
You purred loudly, curling into his arms with a smug expression that made him groan.
The door creaked open, and Xanthus turned to see Dontis leaning casually against the frame, a crooked grin spreading across his face as he took in the scene.
“Well, well,” Dontis drawled. “Didn’t take you long to adopt a pet, Xanthus. Though I must say, the resemblance is uncanny.”
“It’s not a pet,” Xanthus snapped, holding you up for emphasis. “It’s Love.”
Dontis blinked, then burst out laughing. “You’re telling me the wizard turned them into a cat? Again?”
Xanthus’s glare could have melted steel. “If you’re not here to help, leave.”
“Oh, I’m definitely staying,” Dontis said, strolling into the room and inspecting you with a mischievous glint in his eye. “This is too good to miss. How does it feel, Love? Being a cute little furball?”
You hissed at him, and Dontis laughed even harder.
Xanthus sighed, setting you back down on the desk. “Enough. I need to figure out how to fix this.”
Dontis smirked. “Or you could just keep them like this. They’re much quieter as a cat.”
You swiped a paw at Dontis, narrowly missing his hand.
Xanthus pinched the bridge of his nose again. “Dontis, I swear—”
“Fine, fine,” Dontis said, holding up his hands in mock surrender. “But if you need a sitter, you know where to find me.”
As Dontis sauntered out of the room, Xanthus turned back to you, his expression softening despite his frustration.
“Don’t look at me like that,” he muttered as you stared up at him with wide, innocent eyes. “This is your fault.”
You meowed, hopping into his lap and curling up with another loud purr.
Xanthus sighed, stroking your fur absentmindedly. “Let’s just hope I can fix this before you get too comfortable.”
Though, judging by the way you nuzzled into his hand, it seemed you already had.

hello 🤗🤗 could u write for dabi when he wants to piss off reader so he flirts with some other girl or just does something that makes reader sad and angry and she leaves and gets kidnapped. and she manages to escape, but she's barely holding to life (like some several serious injuries, idk like broken nose, black eye, damaged lung, bleeding etc.) and she's crying, panicking and all, she feels like dying and she runs to kurogiri to the bar and he treats her and calms her down, and dabi finds out what happened, but reader doesn't want to talk to him, see him or have anything to do with him.
could u please make it a longer one and with a fluff ending ❤️ i hope you're happy and doing good 😊
✧・゚: a/n : hihi anon thank you for the request, this one is a bit longer at almost 5k words so i hope you don't mind lolol. enjoy<3
✧ Title: ✧ Shattered Glass ✧ ✧ Characters: Dabi x Fem!Reader ✧ Genre: Angst, Fluff ✧ Rating: T ✧ Summary: Dabi's need to provoke you backfires when you leave in anger, leading to a kidnapping that leaves you fighting for survival. But sometimes, in the darkest moments, the light can find its way back. ✧ Content Warnings: Kidnapping, Serious Injuries, Panic Attacks, Emotional Vulnerability, Dabi making the reader jealous on purpose. ✧ WC: 4989 words // 28k chars
The sun was setting, casting an orange glow across the abandoned warehouse where you and Dabi often found solace from the chaos of your lives. It was one of those rare moments when everything felt right, a fleeting sense of peace amidst the storm of your daily struggles. You leaned against a stack of crates, sipping a soda while Dabi lounged nearby, a half-smirk on his lips.
He glanced at you, his blue eyes twinkling with mischief. “Hey, you know Toga’s been hanging around lately?” he said, casually tossing the name out as if it were no big deal.
You furrowed your brows, confusion etched across your face. “Toga? Why would that matter?”
Dabi chuckled softly, the sound sending an uneasy shiver down your spine. “I don’t know, maybe because she’s cute, and I think she likes me.” His tone was teasing, but there was something deeper beneath it, a layer of irritation that clawed at your insides.
You knew Toga was flirtatious and wild, a girl who thrived on chaos, much like Dabi himself. But hearing him mention her like this made your stomach churn. “Come on, Dabi. You’re not seriously considering flirting with her, are you?”
He shrugged nonchalantly, the smirk still plastered on his face. “Why not? She’s fun. You could learn a thing or two from her.”
You felt your heart sink. This was the last thing you needed. “What’s that supposed to mean?” you snapped, irritation flaring within you. “You think I should just be more like her? You know how she is!”
“Chill out,” Dabi replied, waving his hand dismissively. “I’m just saying she’s got confidence. Maybe you should take some notes.”
“Confidence?” you echoed, disbelief coloring your tone. “You think flirting with her is a way to boost my confidence? You’re just trying to piss me off.”
“Maybe I am,” he admitted, a wicked glint in his eye. “But you know I don’t mean anything by it. It’s just fun.”
“Fun for you, maybe!” You were fuming now, your heart pounding in your chest. “Why would you even care about her? You have me!”
He leaned back against the crates, crossing his arms. “Do I, though? You get all upset over nothing. Maybe it’s time you realize that I can do what I want.”
You felt the anger boiling over, a surge of hurt mixed with rage at his cavalier attitude. “If this is how you really feel, maybe I should just leave!”
Dabi raised an eyebrow, as if daring you to do just that. And you did. You spun on your heel, fury propelling you away from him. Your heart ached, and tears threatened to spill as you marched away, unable to comprehend how he could be so thoughtless.
You didn’t look back. The cool evening air hit your face, but it couldn’t freeze the anger burning inside you.
But as you walked, the streets felt less familiar, shadows creeping in around you. Lost in your thoughts, you didn't notice the van that slowed as it approached you.
The next thing you knew, a figure jumped out, and before you could react, a rough hand grabbed your wrist, pulling you into the vehicle. Panic surged through you, heart racing as you kicked and screamed, but a second figure joined, forcing you inside. You fought back with every ounce of strength, but it was no use. They were too strong, and soon you were engulfed in darkness.
Hours later, you came to, disoriented and in excruciating pain. The world around you spun, and your body felt broken. You blinked, trying to focus on your surroundings, but everything was blurred. You were in some kind of dingy basement, the flickering light revealing grimy walls and a bare concrete floor.
Your heart raced as you tried to move, but agony shot through your body—your nose felt broken, and every breath sent sharp pains through your chest. Panic washed over you, and tears spilled down your cheeks. You had to escape.
Summoning every ounce of strength, you pushed yourself up, each movement sending waves of pain through you. The remnants of your earlier anger were replaced by sheer fear as you stumbled toward the door.
You clawed at the handle, but it wouldn’t budge. A sob escaped your lips, the realization of your dire situation hitting hard. “Please, no…!” you cried out, your voice hoarse and weak.
You had to get out. You had to find help.
With a sudden surge of adrenaline, you threw yourself against the door, the wood creaking ominously. The sound echoed in the silence, and with one final push, it burst open. You stumbled out into the night, gasping for breath, pain radiating from every part of your body.
Your legs felt like jelly, but you forced yourself to run, the adrenaline numbing the worst of your injuries. You ran through dark streets, the city feeling like a labyrinth of shadows. Desperation clawed at your throat as you searched for a safe haven.
Finally, you spotted a familiar bar in the distance—the place you knew Kurogiri would be. You pushed through the door, collapsing onto the floor, gasping for breath as you cried out for help.
“Kurogiri!” you sobbed, tears streaming down your cheeks.
Kurogiri rushed to your side, his expression shifting from surprise to concern as he took in your battered form. “What happened?” he asked, his voice steady and calm as he knelt beside you.
“I was… kidnapped,” you gasped, your body trembling as panic rose again. “I don’t know who they were, but… I think I’m hurt badly.”
He nodded, his demeanor shifting to one of urgency. “Let’s get you treated.” He carefully examined your injuries, his touch gentle yet firm as he assessed the damage. “You’ve sustained some serious injuries. A broken nose, bruising, possible lung damage. Just breathe, I need you to focus on that.”
Tears streamed down your face as the pain overwhelmed you, your heart racing with panic. “I don’t want to die,” you choked out, the fear clawing at your throat.
“You’re not going to die,” Kurogiri reassured you, his presence steady. “I promise. Just hold on. You’re safe here.”
He worked quickly, using the supplies he had on hand to bandage your wounds, his movements efficient and calming. With every touch, you felt a little more grounded, the panic slowly ebbing away.
After what felt like an eternity, Kurogiri finished bandaging your injuries. “You’ll be okay,” he said gently. “Just take a few deep breaths. You’re safe now.”
As the tension in your body began to release, the door swung open, and Dabi walked in, his expression shifting from nonchalance to horror as he took in your battered state. “What happened?” he demanded, rushing forward.
You flinched at his presence, the memories of his earlier cruelty flooding back. “Get away from me!” you cried, instinctively recoiling from him, your heart pounding with anger and hurt.
“Please,” he said, his voice softer now, a hint of panic lacing his words. “Just let me help you.”
You shook your head vehemently, your body trembling with emotion. “I don’t want anything to do with you! You did this to me!”
“Did what?” he asked, desperation creeping into his tone. “I didn’t do anything! I—”
“Exactly!” you interrupted, your voice rising with every word. “You didn’t do anything! You just flirted with Toga and left me! You didn’t care!”
Dabi’s expression shifted, guilt etched into his features as he realized the pain he had caused. “I’m sorry,” he whispered, his eyes filled with regret. “I didn’t mean it like that. I just—”
“You just wanted to piss me off!” you shouted, the hurt spilling over. “And now look what’s happened! I was taken, Dabi! You don’t get to act like you care now!”
Silence fell between you, the weight of your words hanging heavy in the air. Dabi’s expression hardened, and for a moment, he looked lost. You could see the flicker of pain behind his facade, but it didn’t matter. You were too hurt to care.
“I’m… I’m sorry,” he said again, his voice barely above a whisper.
As you turned your back to him, the weight of everything crushed you. You were alive, yes, but the pain lingered, both physical and emotional. You needed space, time to heal—without Dabi.
Kurogiri stepped in, his calm presence breaking the tension. “Let’s focus on getting her stable,” he said, guiding you away from Dabi.
You felt a strange sense of relief as Kurogiri continued to care for you, the warmth of his compassion wrapping around you like a safety blanket. Slowly, your breathing steadied, and the pain became more manageable as the adrenaline faded.
Hours later, when the storm inside you began to settle, Kurogiri sat beside you, watching over you as you lay against the wall, bandaged and weary.
“Do you need anything?” he asked softly, his eyes filled with genuine concern.
You shook your head, leaning back against the wall, feeling the weight of exhaustion pulling you down. The pain was still present, but it felt more bearable in Kurogiri’s presence. “Just… stay with me, please.”
“Of course,” he replied, settling in beside you. His quiet reassurance provided a comforting anchor amid the chaos swirling in your mind. The sound of your own ragged breaths began to slow as you focused on the steady rhythm of Kurogiri’s presence beside you.
Minutes passed in silence, but the stillness felt different now. You no longer felt the suffocating panic; instead, there was a flicker of safety, a tiny ember of hope. You thought about Dabi, the anger you felt still simmering just beneath the surface.
Kurogiri sensed your turmoil. “It’s okay to feel angry,” he said gently. “What happened wasn’t your fault. You’re strong for getting away.”
A part of you wanted to believe that. “But I shouldn’t have put myself in that position. I shouldn’t have let him get to me.”
“You did what you could. Dabi’s actions don’t reflect on you,” he reassured, his tone firm yet soft. “Healing takes time. Both physically and emotionally.”
You nodded, but the thought of Dabi and his earlier words lingered in your mind. Did he truly not care? The way he’d flirted with Toga had stung deeper than you cared to admit. Yet now, you sensed a vulnerability within him that you hadn’t seen before.
“What if… what if he’s really changed?” you whispered, the words escaping before you could think them through.
Kurogiri regarded you thoughtfully. “People can change, but it takes effort. Trust is hard to rebuild, especially when there’s been hurt.”
You bit your lip, the conflicting emotions swirling within you. You wanted to scream at Dabi for how he’d made you feel, yet a part of you craved the connection you once shared. Could you really walk away from that?
As if reading your thoughts, Kurogiri added, “You deserve to prioritize your well-being first. If Dabi truly cares, he’ll understand that you need time.”
Before you could respond, the door swung open again, and Dabi stepped inside, the tension palpable. His eyes locked onto yours, a mixture of regret and desperation etched on his face.
“I just want to talk,” he said, his voice strained as he took a step closer.
You recoiled instinctively, remembering the pain and betrayal. “I don’t want to talk to you,” you snapped, your heart racing as anger flared again. “You don’t get to just show up and expect everything to be fine.”
“I know I messed up, okay?” His hands were raised defensively, and his voice softened. “But I’m trying to fix it. I’m trying to understand… what I did to you.”
“Understanding isn’t enough!” you cried, the hurt spilling out. “You think flirting with her is a joke? You don’t get to hurt me like that and then act like it’s nothing!”
Dabi’s expression twisted with pain, his eyes searching yours for some sign of forgiveness. “I didn’t think you’d take it so seriously. It was a stupid game. I thought we were just having fun. I never wanted to hurt you.”
“Fun?” you echoed, bitterness coating your words. “You think making me jealous is fun? Look where it got me!”
“I’m sorry! I didn’t realize—” His voice trembled, genuine anguish spilling from his lips. “I should have seen how it would affect you. I just—”
“Just what?” you cut him off, frustration bubbling inside. “Just wanted to mess with me?”
“No!” he shouted, a raw edge to his voice. “I wanted to see your reaction. I thought if I pushed you, it would be funny. But it wasn’t! I see that now!”
Your heart raced, the intensity of his words cutting through your anger, creating a crack in your emotional armor. The vulnerability in his gaze was unmistakable. “You really didn’t think it would hurt me?”
Dabi’s voice lowered, sincerity pouring from him. “I didn’t. I’m sorry. I’m just… a mess. I thought you understood that I’m not good at this—whatever this is between us.”
“Being a mess doesn’t excuse treating me like I’m nothing,” you replied, a bitter taste filling your mouth.
“I know.” He stepped closer, the desperation in his eyes haunting. “But I care about you, even if I show it the wrong way. I’m trying to be better. I swear.”
Silence stretched between you, heavy and suffocating, your mind racing as you processed his words. You wanted to believe him, to see the truth in his eyes, but the hurt was still fresh, and your heart was still healing.
“Right now, I need time,” you finally said, your voice trembling. “I can’t just forgive you like that. I don’t know if I can ever forgive you.”
“I understand,” he said, his voice cracking. “But please, don’t shut me out completely. I’ll wait. I’ll do whatever it takes to prove that I’m worth your trust.”
You looked away, your heart aching at the sincerity in his words. The warmth of his emotions tugged at you, but the wounds ran deep.
“Just… give me time,” you whispered, tears brimming in your eyes again. “I can’t handle this right now.”
Dabi nodded, his shoulders slumping in defeat. “I’ll be here when you’re ready. I promise.”
He stepped back, giving you space, and as he did, Kurogiri placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder.
“Take all the time you need,” Kurogiri said softly, his calm presence soothing your frayed nerves.
As Dabi turned to leave, you felt an unexpected twinge of sorrow. You didn’t want to close the door completely, but you knew you had to protect yourself. You needed time to heal, both physically and emotionally.
Days turned into weeks as you healed, physically feeling stronger but still navigating the emotional storm that Dabi’s actions had created. He respected your space, never pushing you to talk, but his presence lingered in your mind like a shadow.
Eventually, you found yourself sitting in the bar, the familiar atmosphere wrapping around you. Kurogiri was tending to some customers, and you glanced around, half-expecting to see Dabi lurking in the corner.
He wasn’t there, but the tension had shifted. You felt a flicker of courage within you, the desire to confront the feelings you’d been avoiding.
Kurogiri approached you, noticing your contemplative expression. “You okay?” he asked, genuine concern in his voice.
“I think… I want to talk to Dabi,” you admitted, your heart racing at the thought.
“Are you sure?” he replied, his brow furrowing. “Healing takes time, and it’s okay if you’re not ready yet.”
“I know,” you said, determination surging within you. “But I can’t avoid it forever. I need to face it.”
Kurogiri nodded, a faint smile forming on his lips. “That’s a brave choice. I’ll be right here if you need me.”
Taking a deep breath, you steeled yourself and moved toward the door, the evening air crisp against your skin. As you stepped outside, your heart raced with anticipation and anxiety, but you couldn’t deny the pull toward Dabi.
You walked through the familiar streets until you reached the abandoned warehouse, the spot where everything had started.
Dabi was there, leaning against a crate, his head tilted back as he stared up at the sky. He looked tired, and a small pang of guilt shot through you at the sight of him.
“Hey,” you said softly, breaking the silence.
He turned, surprise flickering across his face before it melted into relief. “You came,” he breathed, pushing himself off the crate and stepping toward you.
“I wanted to talk,” you said, your voice steady but your heart racing. “About everything.”
“Okay,” he replied, his expression serious yet hopeful.
Taking a deep breath, you began to lay your feelings bare. “I was really hurt by what you did. You made me feel like I was nothing. I don’t want to be just someone you mess with when you’re bored. I’m not Toga, and I never will be.”
“I know,” he interrupted, desperation in his voice. “I don’t want you to be like her. I want you to be you. The you I care about.”
Your heart fluttered at his words, but you pressed on. “But you need to understand that your actions have consequences. I can’t be in a relationship where I feel like I’m not valued.”
“I get it,” he said, stepping closer. “I messed up, and I’m sorry. I never wanted to make you feel that way. I care about you, and I want to show you that I can change. Please, let me prove it.”
You searched his eyes, looking for sincerity and finding it there. It wasn’t an easy decision, but something in your gut told you to give him a chance.
“I’ll try,” you said slowly, your voice trembling. “But it’s going to take time. I need you to be patient with me.”
“Whatever you need, I’ll do it,” he promised, the weight of his words settling between you like a promise of hope. “I’ll wait as long as it takes.”
As the two of you stood there, the tension in the air shifted, settling into something less fraught and more hopeful. Dabi was close enough that you could see the subtle changes in his expression, the way his eyes softened as he regarded you.
“I’ll be patient,” he repeated, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “I can wait as long as it takes to prove to you that I’m worth it.”
“Can we start over?” you asked, your heart pounding as you took a step closer. “I mean, like a fresh slate? Just you and me.”
Dabi’s smile widened, relief washing over his features. “I’d like that. I really would.”
You both stood there, an electric tension hovering between you, but this time it felt different. Instead of anger or hurt, there was a sense of possibility. You could see the effort Dabi was willing to put in, the sincerity in his eyes giving you hope that maybe you could rebuild what had been damaged.
“I was really hurt by what you did,” you said, wanting to make sure you expressed your feelings clearly. “It felt like you didn’t care.”
“I know, and that’s on me,” he replied, his voice earnest. “I didn’t realize how deeply it would affect you. I was trying to be funny and ended up being an idiot. But I want you to know that I care about you more than I let on.”
His honesty struck a chord in your heart. “It’s just… I thought we had something special, and then you made me feel like I was just a game to you.”
Dabi’s expression turned serious, the light-hearted demeanor fading as he stepped closer, his voice low. “You’re not a game to me. You mean a lot to me. I’ve never been good at this—at expressing how I feel. I guess I thought if I acted cool, you’d think I was funny or something. But it backfired, and I’m sorry.”
The sincerity in his voice touched you, breaking down the walls you had built around your heart. You found yourself nodding, not fully ready to forgive, but willing to give him a chance. “I know it won’t be easy, but I’m willing to try. But you need to promise me that you’ll communicate with me. No more games.”
“I promise,” he said firmly, his gaze unwavering. “From now on, no more flirting with anyone else. It’s just you and me. I’m done with that stupid stuff.”
You could feel the warmth between you grow, the tension easing as you took a breath. “Okay, so what now?”
“Now,” Dabi said, his grin returning, “we celebrate. How about we get out of here? I know a place that makes the best burgers.”
You laughed softly, feeling lighter at the thought of spending time with him outside of this heavy conversation. “Sounds good to me. I could definitely use a burger.”
“Perfect! Let’s go,” he replied, grabbing your hand and pulling you toward the exit, his grip reassuring. As you stepped outside, the sun was setting, casting a warm glow across the sky, a perfect backdrop for the new beginning you were stepping into. The burger joint Dabi took you to was lively, the air filled with the tantalizing smell of grilled meat and fries. The neon signs buzzed, creating a nostalgic ambiance, and you couldn’t help but smile as Dabi placed your order with the server, his animated demeanor returning.
While you waited for the food, he leaned across the table, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “So, tell me about your favorite things. I want to know more about you.”
“Hmm, let’s see,” you began, your heart fluttering at his curiosity. “I love reading, especially manhwa. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine.”
Dabi’s eyebrows raised in interest. “Really? I’d love to hear what you’re reading. Maybe I can steal some of those ideas for our next ‘mission.’”
You laughed, feeling a warmth spread through your chest at his willingness to engage. “You’d like that, huh? Trying to become a hero through reading?”
“Maybe,” he teased, his grin widening. “Or maybe I’m just trying to impress you.”
Your cheeks flushed, and you felt a surge of warmth in your heart. “Well, it’s working.”
As you chatted, the food arrived, and Dabi’s eyes lit up as he dug into his burger with enthusiasm. “This is the best! You have to try it!”
You took a bite of your own burger, the flavors exploding in your mouth. “Okay, you were right. This is amazing!”
“See? I know my food,” he said with a wink, and you both fell into an easy rhythm of conversation, laughter punctuating your exchanges.
After dinner, Dabi suggested a walk through the nearby park. The evening air was crisp, the stars beginning to twinkle overhead. As you strolled side by side, the tension from earlier began to dissolve, replaced by a sense of comfort and connection.
“Thank you for giving me another chance,” Dabi said, his tone softening as he looked at you. “I know I messed up, but I’m really grateful you’re willing to try again.”
“Everyone deserves a second chance,” you replied, your heart swelling with warmth. “And honestly, I missed you.”
He paused, turning to face you fully, his expression serious but tender. “I missed you too. I didn’t realize how much until you were gone. You bring something into my life that I didn’t know I needed.”
You met his gaze, feeling the sincerity behind his words. “You know, I think we can make this work. But we need to be honest with each other, always.”
“Agreed,” he said, a smile breaking through. “No more games. Just us. I promise.”
As you continued walking, the world around you faded away, leaving just the two of you in your own little bubble. You shared stories, dreams, and even some silly secrets that made you laugh until your sides hurt.
Eventually, you found a quiet spot by a small pond, the moonlight reflecting off the water. You sat down on a bench, and Dabi sat beside you, his shoulder brushing against yours.
“I’m really glad we talked,” you said, feeling a contentment you hadn’t experienced in a while. “I was worried things would stay awkward between us.”
Dabi chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling in the moonlight. “I was worried too. But now? I feel like we’re finally getting somewhere.”
You looked at him, the warmth of the moment wrapping around you like a soft blanket. “I think so too. And I’m excited to see where this goes.”
Dabi turned to you, his gaze serious yet warm. “Just know that I’ll always be here for you. No matter what. I want to be someone you can rely on.”
The sincerity in his words made your heart flutter, and you felt a connection solidifying between you, stronger than ever before. “I want that too, Dabi. I really do.”
As the night wore on, the two of you stayed at the pond, sharing dreams and aspirations under the stars. It was a simple moment, yet it felt monumental.
Days turned into weeks, and as you spent more time together, you found a rhythm that felt right. You visited Kurogiri often, who continued to treat you with kindness, and you made it a point to check in on Dabi regularly.
The tension that had once hung heavy between you had shifted into a playful camaraderie, and the flirty banter you both shared returned, but this time, it felt grounded in something deeper.
One afternoon, you found yourselves in a secluded corner of the warehouse, where Dabi had made a little spot for the two of you to hang out. He had set up a couple of cushions and blankets, and it felt like a secret sanctuary just for the two of you.
“What do you think?” he asked, a hint of nervousness in his voice as he gestured to the cozy setup.
“It’s perfect!” you exclaimed, feeling a wave of affection wash over you. “Did you really do this for us?”
“Yeah,” he admitted, scratching the back of his neck sheepishly. “I thought it’d be nice to have our own little place.”
You beamed at him, your heart swelling with happiness. “It really is nice. Thank you for thinking of me.”
Dabi grinned, the warmth of his smile reaching his eyes. “You deserve it. I want you to feel comfortable around me.”
You both settled onto the cushions, your shoulders brushing together as you leaned back to take in the atmosphere. The light streaming through the dusty windows created a warm glow, and the air was filled with an easy laughter and shared glances that spoke volumes.
“Okay, serious question,” Dabi said, turning to you, a teasing glint in his eye. “If you could have any superpower, what would it be?”
You pondered for a moment, your fingers tracing the seams of the blanket. “Hmm, I think I’d want the ability to teleport. It would make everything so much easier! Imagine going anywhere in the world in an instant.”
“Teleportation, huh? That’s a good choice,” he mused, a playful grin spreading across his face. “But I think I’d want to fly. Soaring through the sky would be amazing.”
“Yeah, but what if you had a fear of heights?” you teased, nudging him playfully.
Dabi laughed, the sound rich and full, echoing through the room. “Okay, fair point. But it would still be cool.”
The lighthearted conversation continued, filled with laughter and shared stories, until the sky outside began to dim, the setting sun painting the world in hues of orange and pink. As the colors deepened, you found yourself leaning against Dabi, feeling a warmth radiating from him that wrapped around you like a comforting embrace.
In that moment, you realized just how far you had come. The trust you were building, the connection you were nurturing, all felt like stepping stones toward a future filled with potential. You felt safe with him, and for the first time in a long time, hope blossomed in your heart.
As the stars began to twinkle above, Dabi turned to you, his expression softening. “You know, I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy. Not until I met you.”
You met his gaze, a smile spreading across your face. “I feel the same way. I didn’t know how much I needed this until now.”
He reached out, brushing a stray hair behind your ear, his touch sending butterflies fluttering in your stomach. “Promise me something,” he said, his voice low and serious.
“Anything,” you replied, your heart racing.
“Promise me you’ll always be honest with me, no matter how hard it is. I don’t want to go back to how things were.”
You nodded, feeling the weight of his words. “I promise. I’ll always be honest with you.”
“Good,” he said, a soft smile returning to his lips. “Now, can we seal that promise with a kiss?”
You felt your cheeks flush at his request, the atmosphere charged with a mix of nervous excitement and anticipation. “I guess we can.”
Dabi leaned in, his eyes searching yours for consent, and you nodded, your heart racing as he closed the distance between you. The kiss was soft at first, a gentle exploration that quickly deepened, igniting a spark between you that felt electric.
As you pulled back, breathless and smiling, you knew that this was just the beginning. The path ahead might still have its challenges, but with Dabi by your side, you felt ready to face anything together.
“I think we’re going to be okay,” you said softly, resting your forehead against his.
“Yeah,” Dabi agreed, a genuine smile lighting up his face. “I think we are.”
And with that, you both settled into the comfort of each other, the stars above shining brightly as if celebrating the promise of your new beginning.
