TASTY??????? in AWE of her brain always and forever .

Hey lovely! I just wanna give you some kind of "review" about your 2 most recent posts (whicv were phenomenal btw) i love the little "series " that you do with all the characters. Its so nice to see them in these situations that are all so normal it gives me so much comfort. Especially the one you just posted. I personally dont have to study much (thank god cuz i cant focus 4 shit) but I study publicity, so it's much work with my hands (making posters on laptop etc.) So its really a comfort all of them really.

Also your bren and duchess post. Btw i really wonder who camz up with the nickname for bren, i dont think its in the books, but its so adorable and it fits him♡ Bren and duchess just give me peak love story ♡ I love the razor thing, that duchess hides it just cuz she loves the look of it on him. What I would give the see a small fluff scenario between them about it hehe. Imagine him just asking duchess if she saw them, and catches her blushing and puts it together hehe ( and teasing i can so see him tease her about it) Also 2 arguments, it's so double, I'm scared 4 them but its also so normal to argue, its part of life, i just hope theyre gonna be fine ♡ And how I am curious about mama sorrengail about her daughter in law. Mama sorrengail isn't soft hearted so. Curiosity hehe. So far my rant ( I could keep going really) I'm sorry, you just have me really invested in their story (and garrick, and liam, and Mira.... *cough* hehe)

I promise they’ll be okay after their arguments!! one is tiny, just a little disagreement, and one is big/important, but they’ll come to their senses in the end when it matters. nothing can separate them ❤️‍🩹

and I agree, Mama Sorrengail may seem cold, but she loves her children deeply and she protects them how she can (while also making them attend the death college lmao). I’ve left a few little breadcrumbs in their story so far about the her relationship with Duchess, if you know where to look (in “fireproof”, and in some of the questions I answered about them recently 🤭)

Day 4: Superstar (ft. Koopalings)

I spent a whole weekend making this! The Iggy and Roy songs are my favorite in particular btw...anyways! I was really digging the songs and then I thought: hey I need the koopalings to be in a prompt, I really like em...so then my thoughts aligned: ah hey! These guys made a reappearance in Superstar Saga! 

Like I know it wasn't much, they didn't even speak in the original game, but it feels pretty important to me, and in a game where it feels like everyone was trying to be a superstar...my idea was complete! Fawful and the Koopalings are trying their best to be superstars! 

I had thought about adding Bowletta to this somehow but I figured I already had enough characters here...oh yeah dw I won't forget to talk about Fawful here hehe! Tis his month! I always like to represent this day by drawing Fawful in this pink outfit, the penultimate battle! 

I adore Fawful's winded speech at the end of Superstar Saga..it really gives me that vibe that he's stepping up to the plate and it marks his start to be his own supervillain! So glad Alphadream decided to give him such a cool character arc...well, like always, see you tomorrow!

this is my most recent one, its not exactly a wip. its more of a my-thoughts-cant-escape-me thing which is... drum roll... another driver!reader but she is in f2 (bc tbh ive been more of an f2 run lately). she drives alongside an oc of mine in a team of my own too!!! if i were to start writing this i plan on writing for only like one season unlike my other driver!readers bc its set in a feeder series. so by the end of the season its like ooo does she make it to f1??? yk hehe. i dont rlly have a name for it yet but thats fine neither do i have a nickname for her yet either saur

another one is a jamie tartt fic 😁😁. theres actually two; a oneshot and a micro-series that is planned to have 3 parts and a prequel!! i have them all named already but the story is still a bit vague in my head too i havent put a final decision on the little details yet but i will tell u this! the reader in this 3-parter is an f1 driver for merc (ik, save me) cause i just LOVE combining two things i love its an illness. now to the oneshot: really i feel like its part crackfic in a way bc its just... mean things i always say in my head about im not telling u that put into writing and the title is “be mean girlier” (iykyk)

How do you choose a character when you have a really delish prompt that fits for soooo many people? Have you ever given writing a break? I live in a dorm. Noise and outside stressors don't bother me much. I have learned to tune such things out and coexist with it. I actually don't mind it; sometimes noise is comfortable. But for things like studying which require silence and focus, I often go to the library. :D I'll write there if I've finished everything on my academic schedule.

When I have writer's block or write something that doesn't "fit," where do I go from there?

I leave the scene as it is and move to another one so that I can come back and try again at a later date. Or I'll read through it and attempt to find where the "disconnect" starts so that I can either rework the scene, cut parts out, or trash it altogether. If I'm very desperate and attached to the scene, I'll write it to finishing even if it doesn't fit at first and then go back to review and revise it. And if I have writer's block with an overall piece, I'll write something else to give myself a break so that I can return to the wip with a fresh, motivated mind.

Is there a time in which I wrote something and regretted the route it went when there were multiple options?

Aaaa hmmm,,,, it's not fandom fanfiction, but in a work I wrote for my ocs I killed one of them off and I do regret it a little because her character wasn't explored as much before her death. >_< if I ever write more for that work, I would like to provide more insight into her life and what she was like through the eyes of the characters who knew her.

How do I choose a character when I have a really delish prompt that can fit many others?

I think about character dynamics, chemistry, themes, setting, and much more when deciding who to use for a concept. I tend to default to Scaramouche and Octavinelle when writing just because I'm so in love with them, but for plots like alpha!Vil with an omega!reader (which was originally an idea I had for Floyd, but I put Vil in the concept because it's much more delicious) I think about how it might work if taken a certain way with [insert character here] as opposed to another way with [insert character here]. The time loop concept was something I initially wanted to explore with Jade because he's calculating and ruthless, but then I thought it would be much better suited to a character like Rook for reasons that I won't list due to fic spoilers hehe.

Have I ever given writing a break?

I don't think I have done so before. :o the idea of it feels unimaginable because writing is such a treasured hobby of mine.

How do I prevent fandom burnout/losing interest in a fandom?

For me, it's a matter of enjoying the fandom at your own pace. I'm still completing book six in twst and I have yet to do Scaramouche's story quest in genshin (although I'm stalling because I still don't know what to name him T_T). Don't feel pressured to keep up with everything in your fandom circle. Also, taking breaks and indulging in other hobbies/interests helps me to avoid burnout or losing interest. And talking about the fandom with others can also help to keep your interest. It's always very fun to exchange thoughts and brain rot with others!!

How long does it take to write daily asks/concepts as opposed to longer fics?

Not very long! I can write a lot when I'm inspired. It also helps that the asks/concepts are like bite-sized snacks that can be enjoyed leisurely, so I just write my thoughts as they come to me.

Do I use bullet points or do I prefer to write a hard draft that is more like the finished piece?

It's a mix of both! My bullet points are often written in two ways: either they are detailed and eloquent or they are unhinged. This is one of my scene notes for tmdg (this scene has been scrapped, so it isn't a spoiler)!

As you can see, it's wildly silly. ^^;;;; but I read these notes and something activates in my brain like: I read you loud and clear, boss!!!! For the most part I try to follow my outline and the scene bullet points, but there have been many cases where I've done something different than what I originally planned because I felt it would be better.

What is my editing process like?

Lengthy. I read through the entire draft to proofread and then I take it scene by scene to look for other errors or things that I may want to revise/add at the last minute. And then I'll read through it again in its entirety to make sure everything looks good. After that, I read it again because I often feel nervous that I missed something. ^^;;; but I often view the final reading as a means of giving the fic a homemade lunch and a kiss on the cheek before I send it on its way. :D

oh my gosh anon!!!! i'm SO glad you remember both of those hehehe <33 those are still things i am planning on working on, yes!! the first part of swear to god might be released on dabi's birthday!! the super secret surprise project is completely on hold until i get my mental illness back under control and bring everything down to manageable levels again, but it is in no way cancelled!! just on hold temporarily <3 i took them out of my lil wips list because i am not *currently* working on them at this very moment, that's all!! aw hehe please ur so cute!!! <33 i appreciate your kindness + respectfulness!! <3

12. Tell us about a WIP you’re excited about.

I mean, other than Bond and Free and New Age Romancing, I’m really excited about this ‘They Lived’ AU where James is the 2nd year DADA professor instead of Gilderoy Lockhart, because it gives me an opportunity to explore 32 y/o Jily as well as James just wanting to smoosh his son 24/7 and show off for his benefit.  Also, 12 y/o Harry is just so cute and fun to write.  I love him.  

I’m also ~tentatively~ making my way back into the Explicit realm lol, my writing style has changed so much since On Heroism that I kinda want to see what that would look like from me now.  But also tentatively, because writing E stuff still genuinely scares me HAHA

16. Any guilty pleasure trope(s)?

LOL. Probably petty jealousy tropes, as long as they’re the harmless kind and explored in a healthy way where no one weaponizes it at the other. Jealousy can be a really ugly emotion that can denote red-flag possessive tendencies (especially when expressed from a man to a woman), but I’m a sucker for, as an example, Lily going out on a date and James just silently having steam come out from his ears, or vice versa.  He’s not gonna do anything, and if it makes her happy then he can accept it, but god he wishes that was him. Especially because they’re teenagers in Hogwarts, so it’s something that’s SO common in that age group. It just makes me giggle.
