One of Jason's first overtures at rejoining the Batfam was made in the New 52 relaunch of the 2011 comic Batman Incorporated, where he takes on the persona of Wingman at the behest of Bruce. He even teams up with Damian Wayne (going by Redbird at the time), forming their own very brief Batman & Robin-esque pair! Also, they both looked kind of ridiculous... [apparently, takes place sometime during Red Hood and the Outlaws Vol. 1 (2011-2015), around issues 17 and 18 and Death of A Family, but before Damian's death and his own Joker-induced gas coma. weird ass timeline!] (Batman Incorporated (2012))

(as an additional aside, post New 52 and into the Rebirth era, Jay and Bruce start patching things up (kinda) and enter a truce of sorts starting in the Red Hood and the Outlaws: Rebirth one-shot from 2016. Yay!)

In the Elseworld of Batman: White Knight (also known as the Murphyverse for it's creator - Sean Murphy), Jason Todd is the eldest son instead of Dick Grayson, meaning that he was actually both the first Robin, and Bruce's first adopted son! He was still captured and tortured by the Joker tho....he escaped alive, but was presumed dead and given a burial and tombstone - as in the main universe - and Dick was taken on as Robin in his "absence." Poor guy! He can't catch a break even in AUs! BUT!! He does gets his own Robin sidekick in this universe - Gan! (also known as Robin IV, a young woman of Mongolian descent who took up the mantel herself with a homemade costume (similar to Stephanie Brown)). In fact, she's the one who encourages him to become Red Hood in the first place! (Batman: White Knight)

Harley Quinn is a primary protagonist of this universe, btw, and pretty much saves Jason from being killed Batman: White Knight Issue #2

Speaking of AUs and elseworlds, in 2002's World Without Young Justice, Jason Todd was a circus acrobat, as per his original pre-crisis origin (minus the red hair). In this AU, he's dating fellow circus member Anita Fite (normally Empress, but here known as Voodoo Princess), but she ends up assassinating him at the behest of his step-mom, Catherine Todd, because he discovered his parents dirty business dealings with Killer Croc. work morning's been slow, so i read an essay on faerie folklore and i am once again chomping at the bit to sweep together my scattered mess of notes on liáfsini and continue my dumb worldbuilding, soft redesigns, creature design, and... rework of s5? my soft-iteration of it? whatever.

between tmnt4p commissions, i've been slowly moving my writings out of google docs and into more localized programs that allow me to move files between my desktop and my ipad, as well as rebuilding the original scrivener file from the ground up. i've also got a bunch of scattered thoughts in sketchbooks that i need to relocate, so everything's closer to being in one place.

maybe it's silly to work this hard on something more closely associated to fandom than to "my own works", but eh. it continues to make me happy. and i think there's merit to expanding existing things, anyway, whether you're doing it "canonically/officially" or not.

JAW Fashion Trivia vol. I - Saint Laurent

Jeremy's starring in the video which is a part of promo/campaign for the new book in the SL Editions series "ZOË, PHOTOGRAPHED BY PURIENNE". As noted in the oficial summary, the book includes photographs of Jeremy too.

The book is expensive, as "coffee table books" usually are, because they're meant to be a valuable, collectible piece for the fans of the brand, the photographer, or the celebrity (they are thick, heavy, and printed on beautiful paper). On the other hand, it's an affordable piece, let's say like a perfume, when you can't really buy a Saint Laurent leather jacket or boots, you go for a "souvenir." As we know, all designer merch has been incredibly popular in the past years, and books are part of this phenomenon too.

Saint Laurent or YSL or what? Know that Yves Saint Laurent has lost the "Yves" with the arrival of the new creative director - Hedi Slimane - who is famous for altering something small but essential about the brand he's currently working for. And he said - Saint Laurent it is. Previously, he had crossed out the "é" from CÉLINE, and it has remained CELINE even after his departure. YSL is used for Yves Saint Laurent luxury cosmetics at the moment - YSL Beauty, and it's owned by L'Oreal. Cosmetics, as well as some other, cheaper accessories, are usually licensed by the big brands to make even more profit. A good example is sunglasses and optical glasses (CELINE, Prada, Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana, etc.) licenses are held by Italian Essilor.

Can we expect more Jeremy in Saint Laurent? We know that Jeremy owns THAT Saint Laurent leather jacket and who knows what else. He wore custom suits to a couple of award shows. His appearance in the campaign means that he doesn't have an exclusive contract with Calvin Klein, which usually happens with big brands, or that it lasted only for a certain period. So we might see Jeremy in another campaign! Due to his height, the clothes will have to be altered to fit him. It's also tough to shoot a campaign with other models because you can see how short he is (not sure how well they faked it in the GQ cover story...) compared to them. French brands, in general, don't like using celebrities who don't have model sample sizes for campaigns. But the more famous the celebrity is, the more they're willing to budge, I suppose!!

(note: I have absolutely no problem with Jeremy's height, these are just simple facts from the industry)
