Okay. Lets start with, what kind of thing are you two exactly? You two arent practically friends nor enemies. Its like you two are more than just comfort buddies. You two vent to each other but with more.. feelings and touch.

Sometimes when its you (mostly you) who vents to Blade about stuff, Lets say.. you're in his lap. Or hes actually hugging you. Or hes cuddling with you in bed to comfort you. Or he would be the one to wipe your tears away.

"Its so tiring!" Blade was holding your face gently with his own rough hands with bandaged scars, wiping your tears. "Shhh. I'll take care of all of them for you, dear." Well that's for.. later. Right now his number one priority in the whole wide world is to.. hug you. For comfort! Definitely! And it worked. You hugged that man back. "Thanks. Blade." You we're still sniffling a bit. Catching your breath.

Or when its Blade and its like.. the mara feeling is there but not out yet (please get what i mean here..) You would be the one to comfort him! Its of course still sitting on his lap, or cuddling or hugging. (Blade prefers the cuddling, by the way!)

"Take a breath, Blade." And he copied what you did, slowly inhaling, slowly exhaling. Great. You two were just sitting at the couch and you decided to help him with meditate. Is it rude to say that Blade expected something more? Its fine. You read him like a book! With a sigh, you opened your arms to let him cuddle you as he rests his head at the crook of your neck. "Really? You find this way more relaxing?" A pinch went to your waist. "I was just kidding! Dont involve me with your mara shizams!"

But other than being each others comfort, you guys just live with each others presence. Let's say, going out to eat, watching beautiful sceneries or sometimes you two can go simple by holding each other and rest. Or simply watching movies together while you two cook. Never let Blade cook meat or chicken.

Honestly, with all this both you question each others feelings. You question your feelings about him, and Blade questions his feelings about you. Or sometimes you two get curious, if you two feel the same and what would happen if eventually you two do. Or what if you two don't?

Between you and Blade, Blade is mostly the one two overthink the feelings. You just cherish the time you can get being with him. Who knows if he is willing to do something risky and try to take another step with you. Plus, you honestly forget your feelings and all you can feel was comfort and safety when your with Blade. Shocking, right? Almost everyone wouldn't feel that way for the one and only Blade.

Let's talk about Blade's feelings this time. Sometimes when you don't need comfort or let's say, you don't need Blade yet, He would be somewhere far but close. Watching over you, keeping his distance. He's doing this for two reasons. One; to check up on you if you're safe. Two; because he misses you.

Sometimes when you two cuddle eachother, and you slept first, he would admire you for a few seconds. 1, 2, 3, and a slight pink tint goes up to his cheeks. While, he's admiring you, he wouldn't even notice he's slowly pulling you closer to him, pulling you and pushing you closer to his body. Only then, he would have his rest.

At the first stages of you two's friendship, and you cuddle, you would expect he already left. Silently. But now, when he lets himself be vulnerable with you. He waits by your side. Waiting for you to wake up. Secretly hoping when you do, he'd get to spend time with you more.

I mean, you two have been together for a long time, which gives Blade a confusing feeling. At first, he thinks your presence would probably be a heal, at this point. Like when he's with you, he feels alot less.. mara, you know.

Sometimes when he's with you, he would be staring admirably at you. Sometimes you would notice, and it makes you all shy and try to cover your face. Blade, obviously noticed it. But not you noticing that he was looking. He himself didn't even notice him looking at you.

Even when with the other Stellaron Hunters, they get quite concerned about Blade's feelings with you.

"Hey Blade, I noticed you've been looking quite distracted lately. Want a soda?" Silver Wolf asks with Blade declining. "He's distracted because of that little lover he has from the Luofu. I guess i can understand him. But she can get in the way of Elio's script." Kafka noted. "I only go to them when we're not on script." Blade told Kafka. "Dear, we never run out of script. Elio just never tells us."

"Then maybe having that little lover with Blade is apart of the script." Silver Wolf answered.

Sometimes you two can get overboard. Or maybe you. Sometimes, you'd flirt with Blade jokingly and he'd take if seriously.

Or sometimes you two initiate physical contact to much. I mean cuddling? Basking in each others presence? Your hands around his neck? His hands around your waist? Sometimes you'd even kiss his cheek?!

You guys had, of course, awkward moments where you two almost did things couples did. For example..

"Blade..?" He was holding two of your hands, each one on the sides of your head, completely pinned. You had asked out of the ordinary, what Blade thinks of you. He took a long time thinking about it, and you were just impatient for an answer. He didn't even notice what he's doing to you right now. A few seconds, and he did, before he completely wooshed away, you definitely noticed a blush.

Did i mention that you are actually the one who always will be the one to bandage the scars he has all over him? Its all you, aiding all thats scars little or big. But Blade took a notice how when he was the one creating scars, it was rough. When you were healing them, it was gentle. It kind of amazed Blade.

But alas, the two of you are not yet ready to go to the next level are you? Neither is Blade. Maybe his heart is just too sensitive to fill with love again. And your heart is just too small to give everything to Blade as well. So let's keep it at this level, okay?

Glossy is such a good friend to me, at this point, both on Tumblr and off, theyre such a genuinely good person and I would actually blow up the moon for this beautiful person and I adore them both as a writer and as a person. Movie nights, screaming about fictional men, playing little games, and just venting like the girlies do (gn). Glossy is just a good, genuine person. Someone like that is hard to come by. Genuinely.

I interacted with Glossy like any other; liking and reblogging mostly and silently talking to myself in tags. Then I got brave and sent anon asks, all under the 🌻 anon tag and some, and soon after (literally like 4 days later) she called for the 🌻 anon and BOOM I came into dm's. It's history from there.

Whether it's hurt/comfort (mostly hurt, girl RtC hurts me to this day lmaooo), dark themes, plus size readers, nsfw scenes, Glossy is able to write it and keep me GLUED and I mean G L U E D!!

And Glossy is so interactive! It's not hard to talk with her, even from a regular Tumblr user! You can talk to her and she's so easy to get along with, naturally funny and honest. She reblogs such good posts, even mine even though I'm a little ol' lady, and she's so ready to scream at the top of buildings about how much she adores other's writings. I can trust her and her taste. Fine cuisine, if you will!

And as with any human being, Glossy is flawed like the rest of us... And despite it all, yall best believe I'd start cheering and screaming at the top of my lungs to defend this baddie (and pretend I shake my ass or something) cause if it's fandom discourse or just shitty people being shitty people (iykyk) Glossy handles it like the ADULT she is. She can hold herself accountable and she will stand her ground, and she'll do it while serving CUUUNT (and then I shake my ass again but no really, Glossy is beautiful, her makeup skills are so sick)

Ready to Comply - Ghoap x Winter Solider!reader I don't remember how this series came upon my eyes but it did, and at first I didn't really have an interest to read it cause I never was a Marvel/Superhero fan. But I saw it reblogged again on my feed and I thought "it must be good" and so I read a minute of the first chapter. And the next. And the next. And then I implanted myself into Glossy's life and here we are. I don't know what about the story or writing really hooked me in. Perhaps it was the pairing (I love me a good Ghoap fic okay), or maybe the creativity? Despite my lukewarm opinion of Marvel, I still enjoyed the story cause it felt seperated from the source enough that I didn't feel like I was missing much, if any, information. Most of what is written is described in a way that I could picture it all in my head comfortably. Speaking on comfort... this is certainly not a comfort fic LOL this is not a story for your grandma! Glossy's written something that made my mind picture hurt and gore and pain in a delicious way! And the more chapters you get into, the better the writing comes out! It's like Glossy is learning more and more ways to hurt me, it almost feels personal. Glossy, babes, do you enjoy giving us pain? That's okay, we like it <3 I adore the series, and every other piece of writing that Glossy provides just keep building up and up. This series holds a special place in my heart, and I love it dearly, even if it's not updated recently, I happily go back and read it when my heart needs familiarity and pain <3 Glossy writes a lot, I admire how often she does cause JesUS girl, how you write so much? I'm linking the fics I've read and remember fondly <3 And of COURSE please read more of her work. It's all so good and they really are a fantastic writer who only gets better as time goes on.

oooh what are your Normaler headcanons

anon, I mean this in the nicest way possible but,, u gotta be a little more specific 😅 I have soooo so many headcanons. most of them I share via my fics! if u wanna hear some abt a specific topic/time/anything else I will gladly give them to u! here are some of my general ones I remembered for a good start:

they remind me of sunny golden spring afternoons when the weather is just right to spend time outside. I imagine them going around the Valley in the early summer sun, holding hands, picking Truffula fruit, being happy and in love. Norma's draw and long curls sway on the wind, while Once-ler with one hand holds hers and with other he hangs onto his hat

their most "usual" date is having a picnic in the Valley! Once-ler brings the snacks and Norma brings all the equipment. Once shares his songs and Norma plays with animals

they love to spend time simply talking with each other. Once tells stories of success and hope, while Norma shares stories of her everyday life

actually, that's the point, they're opposites, perfectly working together. Once-ler is a dreamer, head in the clouds, wishing of the brightest future. Norma is down to Earth, collected but with that wild spark within her. he values dreams, she values stability. that's what enamoured them abt each other - with Once, Norma gets away from her everyday life so that silly lanky guy would make her fantasies come true. with Norma, Once steadies down, becomes more perceptive and values the little things in life more

Norma is an extravert and Once-ler is an introvert. sometimes, when Once feels too drained, Norma simply holds him down, not expecting he'd say anything to her. and Once loves being wrapped around her, face buried in her curls. yes, he's a chatterbox but sometimes Norma's presence and the sound of her breathing means everything to him.

Once picked up reading bc of Norma (he likes romances, fantasy novels and memoirs), while Norma branched out with her music more bc of Once (before she liked solely heavy music like SOAD or Death Grips but now she listens to variety of things Once recommends like classic rock, jazz and even some classical!)

Once is a total lightweight so whenever they go out partying it mostly ends with Norma draggings those overgrown limbs home

if life ended up differently, they would love to have more than 1 child

I don't thin they ever considered each other a "fling". in my hc Once-ler is demisexual so it took him time to realize his feelings and Yeah, he knew she was Important. so did Norma actually, she started liking Once so much, she knew no matter what, she simply wanted him in her life

if I had to describe them in 1 song it'd be either A Dustland Fairytale by The Killers or their cover of Romeo and Juliet or Whistle For The Choir by The Fratellis (the line "so if u're crazy, I don't care u amaze me" is SO them)

8. What are their good and bad traits?

Lucas can cook well, he can clean, he's very attentive to his partner's needs, and he's a very romantic man 😍 He's not perfect, though, because no one is. Some of Luc's bad traits is that his expectations can be a little too unrealistic sometimes. Also, while he doesn't mind talking about his own problems, he does tend to bottle them up and won't vent unless someone asks. He also overthinks a lot and needs a bit of reassurance, though not too much

28. If they could have one wish, what would they wish for?

He would wish for his mother to be cured of Alzheimer's, for sure. That's the only thing he'd ever ask for

Are you named after anyone? Yes, a musician my mother met in Russia!

When was the last time you cried? Huh. I think like, two months back? Trigun '98 episode 23. If you know you know. (I am wrapping u up in a blanket.)

Do you have kids?  Nope! I think I might like to be a foster parent someday, though, once I have the money and the time do it properly.

Do you use sarcasm a lot? I- huh. I was gonna say yes, but honestly, not much in the last few years? I used to be so snarky and biting, like, all the time. It must have been really exhausting for the people around me. Now I think mostly it's just when I'm venting. Wild!

What sports do you play/have played?  I dunno if it's a sport if I don't compete but I enjoy martial arts! I do BJJ sometimes but I'm not very good at it, it's just for fun. Oh, and I was on a basketball team for a couple years, but I'm 5'3" and still don't know the rules so I think I was mostly just just for the body count, lol

What's the first thing you notice about other people?  Demeanor. Are you calm or tense? Loose or tightly-wound? Are you likely to explode if you encounter a perceived obstacle? Are you agreeable and easygoing? Or are you pent-up and raw and itching for a fight?

God, I don't think people realize how visibly LOUD they are when they're unhappy.

Some people are like music, moving along to their own little beat or tune, and then a heavy, harsh note walks in and you just KNOW they'll fuck up the rhythm if you brush too close. It's wild. Are they aware of it? Do they care? Who knows.

What's your eye colour?  Brown! Sorta like.... hmmmm. #622a0f in the middle, with a darker ring around the outside. (Never did relate to the 'brown eyes are boring' gang, always liked mine too much. Then again, I was the only one in my family with brown eyes, so maybe it was that.)

Scary movies or happy endings? Scary movies WITH happy endings? But no, actually, I hate watching horror movies. I LIKE them, I think a lot of them are very good and it's an underrated genre, I just. Don't enjoy being scared. Or sad.

Any special talents?  I'm an artist- I enjoy watercolor, acrylic, and India ink as painting mediums, I'm rather good at realistic stippling, I'm decent at identifying animal bones, I enjoy sculpting and sewing and needle-felting, I'm finally at a point where I like to read my own writing, I enjoy interior design and have been told I'm good at it, I'm a pretty good cook, and I've been told I'm a decent singer! I can also fold incredibly tiny origami cranes, and pick up on new languages well enough for simple use.

And I be far more proud of any number of these things if I did them a little more often.

As it is, I sleep a lot.

What are your hobbies? Lord, too many. I'm actually sewing a new battle jacket right now, and animating a short video. Also writing fan fiction. And reading! Dream job?  Okay so imagine this: There's a VERY rich eccentric hell-bent on accumulating strange art, and by some miracle they are both mentally stable and not a gigantic dickhead. They travel a lot and don't really enjoy socializing so I don't have to kiss their ass.

Twice a month I receive an automatic deposit into my bank account and in return, all they want is a reasonably steady continued production of literally whatever art. Portraits, statues, robotics, ceramics, conceptual shit, costumes, carvings, literally whatever.

And they'll cover educational expenses for it all so I can go back to college and learn screen printing and 3D animation and use the kiln and shit forever and ever, and take up apprenticeships at tattoo parlors and volunteer as a face painter and pick up photography, and just create as much beauty and love and confusion and joy as I possibly can forever and ever and ever until I die.

And I'll have enough money to own my own apartment that I'll paint in all my favourite colors, with murals and everything, and have a cat who I will of course spoil rotten, and maybe adopt a few weird and goofy kids who'll have sleepovers with their friends in the living room and play new bad music that I pretend to hate, and when they fuck up and do stupid shit like kids do, maybe I'll handle it better than my adults did.

And maybe if they like making stuff too, I can make stuff with them. And maybe I'll get to see them do it better than me. And maybe I'll get to see them do everything better than me. And maybe they'll be happier, too.

I HAVE ACTUALLY BRAINSTORMED ABOUT THIS A FEW TIMES .. . but if we are going down the route that s/o and joker will save akechi/prevent his fate, i honestly like the idea that s/o's persona would be sigyn. i don't know if this is a popular headcanon, but i have read a few fics that has this idea.

in norse mythology, sigyn is loki's wife. loki was found guilty for the murder of the beloved god balder, and as punishment skadi sent him away to a cave while bound to some stone slabs. she also put a poisonous snake above loki's head, which will drip venom and hurt him when it falls on his face. sigyn, being a faithful wife, holds a bowl over loki's head to prevent him from being hurt.

not to be that person but i genuinely believe akechi didn't die T_T because what was the point of the final scene of royal ending if he did!!!!!!!!!! if you guys want my thoughts on this feel free to send an ask <3

but i like the idea that akechi and s/o somehow mirror eachother's thief getup, and this especially makes sense if they have a lot of history with each other. (maybe s/o was a childhood friend, or akechi's first ever friend at work).

hi S ok you definitely dont have to answer this bc its basically just me venting and its pretty lame haha but im curious if its something you've ever dealt with or if u have advice... basically i have diagnosed ASD and marvel is my special interest and has been since i was a kid and im pretty positive its going to stay my favorite thing for the rest of my life lol. and sometimes i get so sooo sad and kinda lonely thinking about the fact that like .. i know its basically still one of the biggest fandoms out there but like all my favorite fics were posted like 5-10 years ago mostly from authors that arent even in the fandom anymore and theres never gonna be another movie with steve and bucky together that everyone gets excited about and wants to talk about and theres also just so much less of a fun goofy little tight knit community for stucky on tumblr and online like ... idk i just miss so bad when the mcu was at its peak and there was so much content to consume and so many people passionate about it... and i know theres definitely still a huge presence and like im so thankful that youre an author that i love thats still super active and im always glad to visit your page and to see that theres still so many fans out there that care and wanna interact yknow. but tumblrs different now and its been like ten years since peak stucky content and the actors are all doing their own thing now idk it just makes me sad 😩😩 i feel like such a loser saying it i swear i have other interests and an irl life that is very fruitful and lovely hahaha its just makes me a bit frustrated at my autism because i know i wont be able to ever really stop loving these characters even as others move on

I understand what you mean and you're not a loser, not at all. It's fucking great to have an interest in something, anything--what else is life for? You gotta have something to be focused on and interested in that gives you joy, otherwise, what is there? Just blandness. And, yeah, Marvel fandom is still very much active and that's wonderful and great! But, it's also true that it will never be the same as it was in its heyday. Personally, I wasn't around when the stucky fandom was exploding along the release of CA:TWS/the general MCU height, but I certainly see all the old art, edits, cosplay, etc. that's still reblogged and I've read so many of the fics from years prior, so I have a grasp of what was happening. And I can totally see how you'd miss generally, but especially if your fixation has attached deeply to these characters.

I have a sibling on the autism spectrum (who's old enough to have been diagnosed with Aspergers's syndrome before that was phased out but they are, of course, on the spectrum regardless of arbitrary hierarchical labels that I will restrain from ranting about because I fucking hate that shit, don't talk to me about "high functioning" ugh) and they have a few different life-long hyperfixations as well. So, you're not alone, but, it is hard to think of any actual advice per se. I think you're already doing what you need to be doing, y'know? You're here and enjoying what is going on now, connecting to blogs that are active, finding space where you can talk about these characters, you've got other things to do that also capture your attention, and, of course, you know you're sad about what isn't going on anymore. It's okay to be sad. You can't control what you're passionate about in the same way you can't control who you fall in love with. Are these silly little fictional characters not just people we've fallen in love with a little or a lot, no matter if they don't "exist"? I love that for us. Humans are so cute and full of love.

Fandoms and people change and sometimes it fucking sucks when it happens, sometimes it's great. Either way, it's part of the ecosystem of life. Water and nutrients and air and sun--it makes people change, it makes them grow, and you're allowed to be sad about what they used to be, you just have to keep growing, too. Remember what they were and know who they are now.

Hopefully, something in there helped you feel better, even if it was just from telling someone how you feel.

First off - I really appreciate what you do here, I'm new to fandom spaces and the things you post about have crystalized what bothered me in this fandom, which has made the experience of sifting through it much easier, knowing why some people's takes make me wildly uncomfortable and why I wasn't convinced by the big blogs big loud voices yelling at me what to think and how. There's an objectivity to your words that takes me out of the shipping war, book nostalgia, societal issue-blind mindset a lot of loud people here flaunt like some intellectual commentary, when it's not.

That aside, I know you mostly comment on fandom racism, but I've been confused for some time with how this fandom deals with transgender AUs. I know that a while back there was a lot of heated discourse and some big blogs saying that Louis shouldn't be feminized, dismissing critique of patriarchy which the show makes so clear, and misinterpreting Lestat's place in the familial structure etc. Now, I'm not talking about that, I wholeheartedly agree with Louis being a feminine (and maternal) figure in regards to gender roles, and with his general demeanor, as well. Though he is more subdued in that sense and gets misinterpreted, due to people used to something more outright like Lestat's flamboyancy.

And I know a lot of fic was written at first to spite the people who were uncomfortable with the notion of a clearly feminized Louis, which brought out MPreg, A/B/O, breeding kink, crossdressing, GNC, and even trans (FTM or MTF) iterations. I've read some great work involving most of those (though I've never wanted to check out any applying to Lestat, since most of them seem ridiculous) which was careful, mindful and made sure to respectfully use real life sensitive tropes, such as transness.

But I've also seen really crude, insensitive, and outright unconvincing characterization of an FTM Louis. Empowerment through writing is great, and I know transmasc writers can vent through the process, but some work has had such blatant fetishization of trans men, and it gets lumped in with praise along other, more serious and deserving fics. Not every FTM Louis is empowering, and I just can't get behind people writing a trans man that's turned on by being called a wife, having his genitalia spoken about in an outright feminized and crude way, AND ENJOYING THE THOUGHT OF GETTING PREGNANT.

Now, I know that various people's dysphoria allows for different things, but the amount of trans men that actually have a single positive thought about pregnancy, their female genitalia being spoken about, or having womanly roles forced upon them in relationships, is so low that writing about it without consideration becomes quite offensive. If you want a mindless smut one-shot of a pregnant or willing to be Louis, go for him as a cis gay man with a breeding kink, for A/B/O, bogus science, or honestly, fucking anything besides him being an FTM.

And I say this especially because I know it's not just trans men reading those crude and smutty iterations, it's also, and mostly, people who have hurt me and many other transmasc individuals with their disgusting chaser behaviour. Talking about it brings up many hurtful memories and I won't go farther for risk of becoming too subjective and affected, but I think trans AUs really shouldn't be treated with as much ease as they are.

Cuz it's one thing if it's trans ppl expressing a spectrum of an identity and another if it's a non trans person using an identity to meet some kind of plot end and not considering the real implications of that.
