Newsies+Chicago Fan Theory:
Jack Kelly and Katherine eventually get married and start a family in New York. Jack maintains good relations with Miss Medda Larkin and takes his two daughters to the theatre frequently. His two daughters, Veronica and Velma Kelly eventually grow up to perform in the theatre themselves, becoming popular enough to start touring other cities across America, such as Chicago, Illinois. Considering this, it makes sense as to how familiar Velma is with newspaper publications and their sensationalism, as her dad used the press to his advantage and her mom was a reporter.

Word Count: 2,000+
Parts: SYNDICATE MASTERLIST
“You thought you saw me die Y/N,” Sami says. “Cause that’s what I wanted you to remember.”
“What do you mean what you wanted me to remember?” I ask her angrily.
“I compelled you to forget,” Sami responds handing me a cup of blood. “You were human at the time and I was able to compel you to forget.” I push the cup away from me.
“How come I didn’t remember when I turned?” I ask.
“I had the help of a witch,” Sami tells me sitting down across from me. “She made sure you wouldn’t find out.”
“Now why would she help you?” I ask.
“She didn’t want me to kill her family of vampires,” Sami tells me fidgeting with her hands.
“Sami how can you be killing your own kind,” I plead.
“We’re monsters Y/N,” Sami says. “We shouldn’t be allowed to roam free like this it will only hurt more people. Just think about all the innocent humans who have been hurt since the original vampires. Thousands probably millions.”
“Vampires were once innocent humans too,” I continue.
“Emphasis on once Y/N,” Sami states. “You once hated them too, Y/N. I can’t believe you’re one of them now. All high and mighty by Klaus’s side of all people. Remember when you tried to kill him?”
“You know I had no choice,” I tell her.
“Or did you?” she replies with a smirk.
“You didn’t, did you—?” I start.
“Compel you to stab an original vampire? Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t,” she laughs. “It was for your own good Y/N he’s a terrible person. He was changing you.”
I speed over to Sami pushing her against the wall, “You had no right.”
“I wouldn’t do that Y/N,” Sami says pushing me off her onto the ground. “Don’t you remember I’m older than you?” In a swift movement, Sami pins me on the ground and ties my hands together.
“God Sami I thought we were friends,” I struggle against her grip.
“We were before you got involved with them,” Sami responds. “Now you’re going to make great bait.” Sami shoves me onto the couch. “Stay there and don’t move.” She reaches for my phone in my back pocket and disappears out of the front door.
“Are you kidding me,” I whisper to myself attempting to wriggle out of the ropes around my wrists. They were way too tight. I sigh sitting back down on the couch hoping someone come helps me soon.
Klaus’s POV
“Don’t you guys think Y/N has been in there for a while?” I ask worriedly attempting to listen inside the building. All of us stood outside of the inn waiting for Y/N to leave.
“We all know Y/N can handle herself,” Damon says staring at the door to the inn. A girl with long blonde hair walks out of the front door. “That’s her that’s the hunter.” We all immediately crouch down behind some shrubs.
“Do you think she saw us?” Elena asks.
“Doubt it,” Caroline replies.
“I think all of us coming looks highly suspicious,” Damon says.
“Well no one wanted to stay behind,” I point out. “It looks like she’s headed towards the Grill.”
“Me, Bonnie, and Elena will head over to the Grill to check it out,” Stefan states. “Klaus, Damon, Caroline, and Leo stay here.”
“But I want to go confront the hunter too,” Caroline whines.
“No one is confronting anyone,” Stefan replies. “We’re only going to be looking at her from afar.” Stefan, Bonnie, and Elena head off into the direction that the hunter went.
“That’s it I’m going inside,” I state angrily. I march off to the front door before anyone could stop me. I hear Leo and Damon follow me from behind. I quickly compel the front desk lady to let us in. We come face to face with a locked door.
“I got it,” Leo says. He uses his strength to pry open the door in a swift movement. Damon and I raise our eyebrows at him slightly impressed. “Hey just because I’m glamorous doesn’t mean I can’t be a kick ass vampire too.” As we rush inside we see Y/N tied up on the couch in the living room. I rush over to her.
“Who did this?” I ask tearing the ropes from her wrists gently.
“Sami,” Y/N responds feeling her wrists. “Thanks guys,” She pulls us all in for a hug. I feel my heart beat in my chest. I was hoping no one could hear, but the look Leo gave me after we all pulled away told me otherwise. “but let’s get the hell out of here. I feel like I can smell vervain in the air.”
Y/N’s POV
“Nah uh Y/N, we are not leaving before we investigate this room,” Damon says rifling through a bunch of papers on the coffee table. “Leo go be our lookout.”
“Aye aye captain,” Leo says. I roll my eyes at him laughing slightly as he makes his way to the door.
Klaus moves to the small kitchen area looking through the drawers. I walk over to him to help him look. “Wow Sami sure has the collection,” Klaus says. My eyes follow his to the drawers filled with wooden stakes.
“It’s like the girl is planning to kill the entire vampire population,” I say sadly.
“How are you holding up?” Klaus asks pushing some of my hair behind my ear. “I know how close you and Sami were.”
“I found out she was the one that compelled me to stake you that night all those years ago,” I say avoiding eye contact with Klaus. I open one of the kitchen cabinets to reveal a whole bunch of vervain plants.
“I knew you were compelled Y/N,” Klaus states. “I knew that never in an eternity you would ever try to harm me. Look at me Y/N.” I sigh turning around to look at him.
“I don’t know why I ran Klaus,” I say tears welling up in my eyes. “I was just so scared to face you and your siblings after what I had done. I was just this silly human that you guys took in and turned. And for me to betray you like that. I just couldn’t face you.”
“Yet here you are,” Klaus says. I let out a huge sigh.
“Look Klaus, I—” I start. Damon walks into the kitchen holding a journal.
“Woah am I interrupting something?” he asks.
“Actually—” Klaus starts. I quickly interrupt him.
“No nothing at all,” I say my voice an octave higher from embarrassment. “Whatcha got there Salvatore?” He opens the journal to show me the contents inside. Klaus walks over to get a better look as well.
“Miss Sami here has a list of all the vampires in Mystic Falls,” Damon says.
“Where did she even get this information?” I ask angrily.
“Beats me,” Damon chuckles. “But oh dear Y/N and Klaus it gets better.” Damon flips to another page in the journal. “She has names of vampires in over 30 cities.”
“What the actual hell,” I say.
“Lucky for us though she has a number scrawled on the inside of the cover,” Damon shows us the number and a name underneath it that read “Katerina.”
“No it can’t be,” I say. “They never knew each other.”
“Well there’s only one way to find out,” Damon replies. “But let’s get out of here.” Damon takes a few photos of the pages in the journal and sets it back on the shelf he found it. We all make our way back to the Salvatore house where we met up with the rest of the gang to give them the bad news.
—
“Alright so it’s quite simple really Y/N,” Katherine smiles widely. “I’m going to flip a coin and decide who I want to go the dance with more.” Once again Katherine was toying with the feelings of two guys like she always did.
“Doesn’t it bore you pretending to be a high schooler every century?” I ask filing my nails. I look at myself in the mirror, another host body I didn’t recognize, but would make do for the time being.
“Doesn’t it bore you switching appearances all the time?” Katherine fires back. “Don’t you miss being able to just be yourself?”
I throw my pillow at her, “Shut up, Pierce.” She throws it back at me with more force, but using my vampire speed I quickly move out of the way.
“Someone has adapted to vampirism well,” Katherine smirks.
“Well it has been about half a year now,” I say.
“I wish I could’ve met what real Y/N was like,” Katherine says. “She seemed fun.”
“Katherine I’m no different than ‘real me,’” I tell her. “I just look different.”
“I don’t get why you’re running from Klaus,” Katherine mentions. “You and I both know the guy is head over heels for you. I highly doubt he even cares that you tried to kill him. If you just explain to him that you were forced to all would be well in KlausY/N world.” She throws her top off switching into a bright red evening gown. “Now are you sure you don’t want to come tonight?”
“I’m 100% sure,” I state. “I’m not in the mood to party. You know I’m still getting over the trauma of attempting to murder my ex-boyfriend.”
“Come on Y/N,” she pleads. “For me? I need someone to keep me from going crazy tonight.”
“Fine, but just because I know how crazy you get at these things,” I reply. She squeals in excitement and forces me into a light blue dress. As we made our way into the gigantic mansion, I am attacked by the loud noise of music and chatter. Katherine scans the room for her date only to be interrupted by Damon Salvatore.
“Fancy seeing you here Katherine,” Damon says smugly. His eyes travel to mine. “And you are?”
“This is —” Katherine starts.
“Penny,” I say coming up with a fake name quickly.
“Right…” Katherine trails off. “Penny…Anyways Damon I would love to chit chat but I have two hot dates waiting for me.”
“Some things never change,” Damon mumbles. “Care for a dance Y/N?” His sentence catches me off guard. How did he know?
“My name is Penny,” I repeat. He laughs at me extending his hand to me.
“Y/N you are a really bad actress,” Damon says. “Plus you never take off that bracelet not very clever if you ask me.” I take his hand to the middle of the dance floor.
“I guess I should be more careful with that,” I sigh in defeat letting Damon lead because I couldn’t dance for my life.
“Hey just so you know,” he leans in to whisper in my ear. “Klaus is here tonight.”
I quickly pull away from Damon. “I have to leave.” I rush to the front door only to collide with someone in the midst of the large crowd. “I am terribly sorry…” I look up to see Klaus staring down at me.
“Sorry love,” Klaus states grabbing my hand. I quickly hide my left hand adorned with the bracelet behind my back.
“It’s quite alright,” I reply. “But I really must get going.” I run off before he has a chance to stop me.
—
“Katherine?!” Elena shrieks. “Didn’t she run off into hiding?”
“That doesn’t mean she can’t have a telephone number Elena,” Klaus says laughing slightly.
“Big bad hybrid has a point Elena,” Damon declares.
“So let’s try calling the number already,” Caroline states.
“Is that a safe idea?” Stefan asks. “The hunter is still on the loose. Shouldn’t we take care of her first?”
“Hello who is this?” Damon asks holding his phone up to his ear. Stefan groans at his brother’s impulsivity. “Oh Katherine it’s me Damon. Okay yeah yeah. We want to know how you know our dear hunter friend Sami.” Damon hangs up the phone. “Katherine is coming back to Mystic Falls.”

The Paradox - Chapter 1
2009 AD
Jemma Erikson woke with a start, shooting out of bed as old memories attacked her mind. Stupid brain-, she thought to herself, blindly reaching for her phone as she rubbed her eyes. 09:00. She groaned and flopped back into bed, closing her eyes when she realised. "Wait nine o'clock-? We're late-!" She sped around the house, looking for her siblings only to realise they had already left without her. "Traitors-" She yells, hurrying as fast as vampirically possible. Not bothering to comb her hair properly, she smoothed it down and pulled a beanie, managing to get to class only 30 minutes late.
"Sorry I'm late Dr Saltzman. My alarm clock was broken and my dear siblings didn't bother to wake me.", she explained, walking into the history classroom as she sent a childish glare her sister's way. "It's fine. Just sit down and make sure it doesn't happen again." The history teacher shook his head lightly, running his fingers through his brown hair as he went back to his presentation on the Crimean War. She sat in her usual seat between Francesca and Caroline Forbes, a bright preppy blonde and the most popular girl around, thanking the heavens that she didn't get an hour of detention. She had better things to do after school than sit in a musty classroom. "Seriously? That's favouritism. If I get late, I get detention." Tyler Lockwood argued, slumping back in his chair. Alaric just smiled. "That's because you make a habit out of it Tyler." "Yeah Ty." "Carry on shouting out and you might get a detention anyway Jemma." "Yeah Jemma." "So will you Tyler."
Fran covered up a grin and the lesson passed without another hitch.
----------
Lunch could not have come slower in Jemma's opinion. She walked through the corridors with Caroline, making small talk as they trailed along.
"Hey Jemma, have you seen Elena? She didn't come into school today." The aforementioned raised her eyebrows. "A teenager not going to school? What a surprise(!)" While Elena Gilbert skipping school wasn't common, it wouldn't be odd either. Then again, as a Petrova Döppleganger she could've got herself in something she can't get out of. "What if she's in real danger? What if she got kidnapped or-" The panicked young lady was cut off by Jemma suddenly grasping her shoulders firmly. "Look I'm sure she's fine and even if she has been kidnapped, they let her go once they realise she's useless so that'll be pretty soon." "Okay that's mean-" Caroline bit back her retort but visibly relaxed. "But true - I'm sure she'll be back soon. Chin up Care-bear." She patted her shoulder and threw her a smile. "Alright then - I'm going to Sarah's locker. See you in class?" "Yeah."
----------
Jemma aimlessly roamed the hallways, peeking her head into empty classrooms till she saw Stefan Salvatore, the slightly broody but kind-hearted of the two Salvatore brothers.
"Hey Steffie." She greeted him with the usual smile and annoying nickname only for him to mumble back a short reply, oddly with no arguments about the nickname. He seemed distracted. "Where are you going?" "Alaric's classroom. Bonnie's doing a locator spell on Elena - she didn't go home last night." He explained the situation to her as they reached the room's threshold.
He turned to the two people already in the room: Bonnie Bennett, a powerful witch in the making, and Jeremy Gilbert, the human brother of the current Petrova Döppleganger, Elena. "Alright," he spoke up, successfully getting their attention, "Alaric said we've got to clear out of here within 10 minutes. I've got weapons, he stocked me up." Jemma perked up at the word weapons. "Wait, weapons? That means attack or rescue mission; I want in." "No way - the more people there are, the more likely we are to get caught." "I'm older and stronger than you and you'll need backup. I'm coming and you can't stop me." Stefan shook his head a little before nodding. "Fine, whatever."
Bonnie watched the exchange and raised her eyebrows. "Are you guys ready?" Jemma gave her a small smile and nodded. Bonnie cut the younger Gilbert's palm, blood dripping onto a map. They merged into one and moved, shifting to where the lost girl was hidden. "Here. She's there." "That's 300 miles away.", Jeremy said. "No way she's just out and about around there." Jemma added unhelpfully. Stefan ignored her and shook his head, "no, Bonnie. We need a more exact location than that." The eldest of them rolled her eyes. "That's as close as it'll get Messr Salvatore." Jeremy huffed quietly before suggesting an alternative. "Whatever. We can map it, aerial view will show us what's around there, help us narrow down the area." Stefan seemed satisfied. "Perfect. Call me with whatever you find." The pair of vampires were going to leave when- "no, no, I'm coming with you." "No Jeremy, you're not." Stefan crossed his arms and looked at the young teen sternly. "No, I'm not just going to sit here. What if she's hurt okay?"
Jemma turned her head away from the boys for a moment, her keen senses smelling blood. Bonnie's. Is she over exhausting herself? That can kill her-
"Or worse? What if she's…" "She's not." He reassured the brother, shouldering Alaric's bag of weapons. "You two go back to your house just in case. I'll call you the minute I find her." "Well you can't do this alone." Jeremy argued fruitlessly. "He's not." Damon Salvatore, the elder of the two vampiric brothers, butt in from the entrance of the classroom. "Let's go." Stefan seemed surprised at his brother's arrival. "You're coming with me?" "Us." Jemma added, letting Damon know she wasn't about to let them do something dumb on their own. "You're coming with us?" He corrected himself, earning a bored look from Damon. "It's Elena."
----------
They drove in silence for a time, Damon driving with Stefan in shotgun and Jemma in the back.
"Alaric sure likes his weapons." Jemma smiled at Damon's fake nonchalance. "Of course he does. I mean he is a hunter after all." Stefan held a small bottle of what smelt like vervain. "What the hell is that?" "Calm down Damon," she smirked. "Is a bottle really all it takes to frighten the mighty Salvatore boys?" They gave her a look, one that very clearly said: shut up. "It's a vervain bomb or a grenade launcher or something like that." "A grenade launcher launches the grenades. That is an actual grenade so how's about vervain grenade?", Jemma mumbled, laying on the back seats and trying to think of a plan. "Let's go with that for now."
"Hey, how much further is it?" Stefan asked. Damon replied, not taking his eyes off the road, "about 80 miles." "Who do you think took her?" "Someone from Katherine's past." Of course it has something to do with Katerina. Petrova döpplegangers always seen to be at the centre of everyone's problems. First Tatia, then Katerina and now Elena the naïve child's been pulled into it, Jemma thought to herself as she listened in on the brothers. "She said she was running from someone. They got the wrong girl."
"Thank you for helping me." "Can we not do the whole road trip bonding thing? The cliche of it all makes me itch." "Oh, come on Damon. We all know that you being in this car has absolutely nothing to do with me anyway." Jemma mentally snorted, no shit Sherlock. He's in love with your girl. "The elephant in the room lets out a mighty roar(!)" "It doesn't have to be an elephant. Let's talk about it." "There's nothing to talk about." "That's not true. I'm sure there is. Just get it out. I mean, are you in this car because you want to help your little brother save the girl he loves? Or is it because you love her too? Hmm? I mean come on, express yourself. I happen to like road trip bonding." "Keep it up Stefan - I can step out of helping as easily as I stepped in." "No, you see that's the beauty of it. You can't." She sat up in the back, looking between the brimming anger of the brothers. "Drama." She whispered under her breath, playing with one of Alaric's stakes. "Shut up.", they said in unison. Well, she raised an eyebrow at the younger vampires, at least I got them to agree on something.
----------
"We're getting close. Jeremy said there's an access road just past mile marker 6." Jemma took the blood bagout of her mouth. "Finally." Damon stole the bag from her hand and began to drink. "Hey-", she protested. "Oh don't be such a baby. After all, you're the one whose always on about how old you are.", his smile condescending. "If you want some, just ask.", he teased Stefan. "I want some." "Aw, that's so sweet. You're gonna be all big and strong and save your girl but don't worry. I've got your back. It'll be fine." "I'm not joking. I've been drinking a little everyday. I'm slowly increasing my intake and building up my strength." Damon looked back at the elder vampire as if to ask, 'is he kidding me?' "He's not kidding." Damon nodded and passed him her blood bag. "Does Elena know you're drinking blood?" "I've been drinking hers." "Hmm, how romantic." He said, drinking from another bag and thus earning himself a wack on arm from Jemma. "One: if you had your own bag, don't take mine you little shit, and two: how didn't you notice before? I've walked in on Stefan feeding and I don't even live at your house."
"Whatever. Anyway since we're road trip bonding, remember the days when all you lived for was blood? You were the guy who ripped people apart just for the fun of it." The Ripper. She smirked to herself. Much more fun but much less civilised. "You mean when I was more like you?" "Yes, Stefan, exactly. Back when you put blood into me so I could be a big bad vampire. I wonder if Elena would be so quick to open her veins to that guy? By the way, what happened to that guy? He was a hoot." "Agreed. He was a lot more fun than you but at least you have better table manners than he did.", she added. "I guess he found something else to live for."
----------
"Why are we stopping?" The car slowed to a stop. "The house should be just beyond those trees." Stefan tried to get out but Damon stopped him. "Wait," he said. "I got a lot more experience than you do with these sorts of things." "What is your point?" "My point is, whoever has Elena is probably who was after Katherine in 1864 and before that." "And?" "And it puts them at 500 years old and strong. Are you sure you want to do this?" "Yeah, I'm certain I want to do it." "Because if we go in that house, we may not come back out." How ominous. "Alright, then I won't come out." "So noble, Stefan." "I can't think of a better reason to die, but if you guys want to stay here, I'll totally understand." He left the car, Damon and Jemma following in tow. "Why are you here Jemma? You don’t even like Elena." "You didn't think I was gonna let you two have all the fun now did you?"
They walked in to the house, their footsteps echoing. It was old and slightly dilapidated yet well kept as there was furniture dotted in different places. A thick layer of dust covered everything.
"This place is in desperate need of a housekeeper.", she said, running a finger across a fire place, creating a groove in the dust before wiping her dirty finger on her jeans. "Quit screwing around and help us come up with a plan." Damon snapped. "I have one." "What is it?" "This place has at least a few floors meaning it has stairs. We make a bit of noise near some and our mystery man will show up. Stefan will stop him from going up. You stop him from going down. I block the exits. We have him trapped with three vampires who are armed and we kill him." "Did you just come up with that?" "You guys were having bro time in the car so I started doing something productive."
They found a staircase and went to the top, Jemma quickly getting bored. "Lets see how these work then." She muttered to herself, fiddling with one of Alaric's weapons and, naturally, causing a small explosion. "Good news: I figured out how to use the vervain grenades. Bad news: the plan starts a little earlier."
Mystery Man vampire-sped into the room holding someone, a dark blur as Damon and Stefan moved around him. He threw Elena into a woman's arms. "Rose." the man said. Two thoughts ran through Jemma's mind: why does he seem so familiar? and Rose must be the girl's name. "I don't know who it is.", she called back.
"Up here." Stefan called from the top of the stairs. The man ran up the stairs to him. "Down here." Damon taunted. Jemma threw a stake that landed in his hand. He looked down at it and pulled it out with practiced ease as she hid out of the man's line of sight. Jemma looked back and forth looking for the two girls, Elena and Rose had seemingly having disappeared when in fact Elena was with Stefan and Rose with Damon. "Excuse me. To whom it may concern, you're making a great mistake if you think you can beat me. You can't. Do you hear that?" She faltered. Could it be? No. He would never come back unless Mikael was dead and because he can't be killed... The man broke a coat rack and made a makeshift stake. "I repeat, you cannot beat me. So I want the girl, I'm gonna count to three or heads will roll. Do we understand each other?" Elena appeared at the top of the stairs. Stupid girl is out to get herself killed. "I'll come with you, just please don't hurt my friends, they just wanted to help me out." The man vampire-sped up the stairs, not giving her a chance to see his face. "What game are you playing with me?" She threw a vervain grenade at his face, burning him, only for him to heal almost immediately. He went towards her but Jemma ran towards him, she and Stefan knocking him over. Stefan tried to shoot him with a compressed air weapon which didn't work so he threw it to the ground and tackled him, resulting in them both tumbling down the stairs. The man got up straight away but Stefan wouldn't move. "Stefan get up!" She shouted at him, urging him to move because the man was going towards him but he hesitated when he heard her voice. "Jem?" He mumbled, quickly turning and facing her. "Eli." Damon hurriedly staked him, leaving him pinned to a door and dead. All of a sudden a sharp pain filled Jemma's body as she heard a sickening crack, her neck broken as she fell to the ground.
----------
She groaned loudly, soft sheets pillowed around her as she sat up. She left the spare room of the Salvatore Boarding House and slowly padded over to the lounge.
"Hey Sleeping Beauty, Rose got you good didn't she?" Damon said, pouring bourbon into two glasses. "Drink." He pushed the glass into her hand, Jemma scowling as she downed the drink. "'Got me good'? She snapped my bloody neck." She wrinkled her nose at the lingering flavour of the alcohol. "D'you have anything other than bourbon?" "3 glasses of scotch coming up." "3…?" She mumbled, wondering who was going to join them when Stefan walked into the room.
"Where's Elena?" Damon asked. "At home." "And you're here why?" "Because he lives here?" She suggested. "That and because she wanted to be with Jeremy." "Here." Damon passed him a glass of scotch. "Thanks. Listen, um, what Rose told Elena about the curse…." "I know, we'll keep her safe." "You know, the only way were gonna be able to do that is if we're not fighting each other. We let Katherine get between us. If we let that happen with Elena, we're not gonna be able to protect her." "Yes Stefan I heard it all before." "From me.", she reminded them. They really need to stop falling for the same person.
"Hey." "What?" "I'm sorry." "About what?" "For being the guy that made you turn 145 years ago." "Enough Stef, its late. Don't need to rehash that." "You know what? I've never said it out loud. I guess I just need to say it and you need to hear it. I'm sorry. What I did was selfish. I didn't wanna be alone. I guess I just needed my brother." She smiled at the boys. Having known them since before they were vampires, she had grown quite fond of them over the decades and she was proud of them. The rebel and the daddy's boy finally getting along as they used to. "Well," she cleared her throat. "I'd best be off - text me the details about the curse; I did used to be a witch so I might be able to help Bonnie with it all." She saluted and headed home, absently rubbing the back of her neck. Edmund will have my head.
----------
I hate being right. "What were you thinking?" Passive aggressiveness and disappointment was worse than anger in Jemma's opinion. "I was bored so I helped them get Elena back. No biggie." He looked at her like she was crazy - she tended to get that look a lot. "'No biggie'? Are you off your rocker? You went against Elijah! The same Elijah who was batshit crazy last we saw him and apparently only got worse. We were lucky to not have been seen back then and now you try and fight him-?" "She fought him and won." Thank God for Fran. "How do you know?" "If she lost to a Mikaelson she would be dead by now." "Oh come on. The Mikaelsons were our family; they wouldn't hurt us-" Jemma protested fruitlessly. "The Mikaelsons were once our family. But they aren't those people anymore." Fran retorted, looking at her pointedly. "And Originals aren't easy to kill - Elijah's not dead, just very pissed and he saw you with the people who tried to kill him. How's he gonna react to that, hmm?"

RotG Secret Santa 2019
For @apropoptosis for @rotgsecretsanta! Happy holidays!
I didn’t really understand any of the AUs you requested, but I did my best!
-AU where Pitch is a cryptid, and Jack has made it his sworn duty to hunt him down-
Jack is halfway through packing when he hears the telltale creak of the floorboards outside his room. He immediately knows who it is by the sounds of deliberately quiet footsteps, as if the source is trying to be stealthy, but that’s kind of an impossible task when you’re a man as big as Nicholas St. North. Still, Jack grants him mercy and pretends he doesn’t notice, instead shoving Jamie’s cryptid book into his backpack, and then checking to make sure the batteries in the torch are still good. It might be worth bringing some spares, he thinks, just in case.
In the corner of his eye, North loiters in the doorway. He’s given up all pretences of being unheard after seeing that Jack’s lamp is still on. He looks at Jack, then to the pile of things scattered on his bed, and then to the backpack.
“You are not sleeping,” he observes.
Jack doesn’t bother to hold back his smile as he shoves his power-bank into one of the front pockets – you never know when your phone is going to mysteriously die, after all. “I’m aware.”
North makes that face he does when he’s trying to be Authoritative™, and Jack is being deliberately uncooperative. “Is nearly midnight.”
Jack doesn’t have a bedtime – and it’s one of the better things about living with North; the guy gives him room to breathe, and in return Jack does his best not to disappoint him (because there is literally no worse punishment than having North look at you with his Disappointed Face). Still, he’s normally at least starting to settle down around now, and North’s confusion is to be expected.
That doesn’t stop Jack from continuing to be uncooperative. “Yep,” he tugs the zip closed and slings the bag over his shoulder.
North narrows his eyes suspiciously, and takes in the rest of the room. His eyes land on the pile of laundry on the chair – yet to be put away – and the framed photo of the sister Jack only half remembers on the desk.
“You are not running away,” he concludes, sounding confused.
The thought is enough to put a grimace on Jack’s face. He’s been in and out of foster homes since he was fourteen, and run away from nearly all of them at least once. He’d long since given up hope of regaining anything close to what he’d lost by the time North took him in. And it’s not perfect – not when Jack is trying to compare it to an idealised life he can’t even remember – but he’s long since decided North and his... unusual group of friends are the only family he’ll ever need again. The very idea that he would take it all for granted and run away from the best thing to ever happen to him is absurd.
“And give up Phil’s cooking? Absolutely not,” he says instead of any of this. Because even after a year of living here, he’s still not very good at showing North just how much he means to him. He’s pretty sure North knows anyway, given the soft look that settles on his face.
“Jack,” North says, exasperated and entirely fond, “what are you doing?”
Jack snatches a long, hooked stick from its place against the wall. He’s had it for as long as he can remember. He leans it casually against his shoulder, and grins. “I’m gonna hunt down the Bogeyman.”
North stares at him. Blinks. Stares some more. Some convoluted series of expressions crosses his face before he settles on a frown. “Bogeyman is not real.” It comes out sounding like a question.
But Jack, who has been spending entirely too much time with Jamie, is prepared for this response. “Can you prove it?”
North raises a challenging brow. “Can you?”
Jack pointedly jostles his bag and holds up his phone in his free hand. “Not yet.”
North crosses his arms. He will have to be appeased if Jack doesn’t want to climb out the window – he has completely blocked off the doorway. “How do you intend to get this proof?”
Jack shrugs. “He’s supposed to live in the woods. So I’m going to the woods.”
“In middle of night?”
“Well I don’t think he’s gonna be around during the day, right?”
“You are not going into woods by yourself in middle of night,” North says in his Dad Voice™. And normally it’s enough to make Jack give in, since he rarely uses it and when he does it’s for sensible things like ‘No you cannot burn your homework in backyard we have fireplace’ or ‘No you can’t just go around with knife in shoe you might stab yourself, here I made you holster’.
But Jack has spent all week sharing conspiracy theories with Jamie and he Will Not Be Stopped.
“I’m not going alone,” Jack says, and holds out a hand.
Baby Tooth (Tooth’s ‘pet’ hummingbird, so called because she dotes on her like an actual child) flutters over to land in his hair. He’s bird-sitting, since Tooth has a dental conference or some equally nerdy dental thing going on, and couldn’t take BT on the plane. He’s pretty sure she wouldn’t want him taking her into the woods in the middle of the night to hunt down a monster but eh. What Tooth doesn’t know won’t hurt her.
“Baby Tooth is coming. Right, BT?”
Baby Tooth chirps and fluffs her feathers. Jack decides that’s a yes.
“Jack,” North starts.
“If you’re so sure the Bogeyman isn’t real, then there’s nothing to worry about, right?” There aren’t even wolves in these woods. The worst thing he might run into besides the Bogeyman is a tree.
North very obviously wants to say no. He also very obviously knows that if he does Jack will just sneak out later. “What if Katherine-?”
“Katherine,” Jack counters, “who has a thesis to write?” She’d honestly probably say yes if he asked, and would even drag her best friend along for the ride. The only person in town who likes stories as much if not more than Jamie is Katherine. But she is also super busy with college, and the last thing she needs right now is her foster brother dragging her out into the woods chasing cryptids.
North has no comeback for that one.
“Come on, North,” Jack does not whine. “You know I’ll be fine.” He’s spent several months at a time living on the streets – a fugitive hiding from social services. He knows how to handle himself, and when to pick a fight or run.
“Is not point,” North sighs, because it’s not. It’s probably something to do with responsible parenting or whatever. “If you can find adult to go with you, I will give permission.”
Ah, a compromise. Well, Jack supposes, he can work with this. He quickly opens his contacts on his phone and starts scrolling.
Tooth? No. Dentist thing.
Bunny? Absolutely not. Probably asleep right and will literally kill him if he wakes him up.
Phil? No. Phil is with the Fun Police.
North himself? No, as much as North would probably enjoy it. He’s got that big landscaping project due in a few days, and also has about as much stealth as a landslide.
Sandy?
Oh.
Yes.
Sandy.
The little guy is the quietest person Jack knows. He doesn’t even talk, communicating solely in sign language (which Jack is slowly learning), and emojis. He’s got a mischievous streak to rival Jack’s, and, just for bonus points, Jack is, like, 90% sure the guy is nocturnal.
He quickly shoots off a text.
Jack: Hey, Sandman! Wanna hunt the Bogeyman with me? I’ll bring snacks!
He gets a reply nearly instantly: a thumbs up, and a bunch of emoji faces that tell the story of a man who is very excited for a midnight stroll through the woods. Or maybe just excited for snacks. It’s hard to say.
Jack flips the phone around victoriously so North can see the screen. “Sandy’s coming.”
North deflates in reluctant acceptance, and steps aside so the doorway is clear. “Alright,” he concedes. “Be careful. Call if you get lost.”
They both know that won’t happen. No one knows the Burgess woods as well as Jack does. Still, he appreciates the sentiment, and promises anyway.
Sandy meets him out front ten minutes later. Standing under the streetlight in his bright yellow jumper, he looks like a very tiny star. For a moment, Jack is worried that the way he almost seems to glow will tip off any potential Bogeyman they find, but the fear proves unfounded when Sandy steps out of the light and fades to a dull mustard. He waves excitedly as Jack crosses the grass to him, and then they’re off, walking the short distance from North’s place to the edge of the woods.
They pause at the tree line. Jack gently coaxes Baby Tooth to his shoulder so he can flip his hood up over his white hair, and Sandy takes the opportunity to fish through the backpack. He pulls out a blueberry muffin and starts happily munching away on it.
“Okay, Sandy,” Jack flicks the torch on and shines it between the trees. All he sees are more rows of trees. “Here’s the plan: most of the rumours say he’s supposed to be somewhere beyond the lake, so that’s where we’re going. Keep an eye out for anything out of place. Jamie said that Pippa heard that he lives in a hole in the ground under a rotting bed frame.”
Sandy takes another bite of his muffin and nods.
“You ready?” Jack holds out his phone. “You’re on camera duty.”
Sandy looks up at him, and his expression grows very serious. He quickly finishes the last few bites, wipes his hands on his pants, and takes the phone. Together, they step into the woods.
It’s much darker under the trees; the canopy blocks out almost all of the moonlight. It’s pretty much exactly how Jack hoped it’d be – the darker it is, he reasons, the more likely they are to find the Bogeyman.
The whole thing has been the favourite topic among the kids for weeks. Jack’s heard every variation of the story so far, mostly because Jamie is a walking encyclopaedia of cryptid facts, and Jack has always been an enabler of weird behaviour. For the most part, though, they share three simple facts:
1. The Bogeyman is a tall humanoid monster
2. The Bogeyman lives deep in the woods (usually under a rotting bed frame)
3. The Bogeyman eats kids’ fear
It was really no surprise when ‘Bogeyman’ became everyone’s favourite game. But Jamie isn’t satisfied with just playing pretend, not when there’s a possibility that these rumours are based in fact. And since Jamie can’t go running around in the woods at night, Jack will just have to do it for him.
Somewhere to their left, a stick cracks. Jack swings the torch beam towards the sound, illuminating a patch of grass. There’s no sign of anything that could have made the noise. Baby Tooth hunches, and chirps softly.
‘Maybe a rabbit?’ Sandy signs.
Jack eyes the darkness for any movement. ‘Too loud,’ he replies clumsily, not wanting to talk aloud and give themselves away more than the torchlight already does.
There’s another snap somewhere behind them, followed by rustling leaves. Jack and Sandy spin around, but again there’s nothing to find.
Sandy frowns. ‘A hare?’
No, Jack thinks. Something that loud has to be a lot bigger than a hare. But maybe they’re just a little jumpy. Maybe it’s nothing.
Famous last words, he thinks.
Still, there’s no point standing around wasting time. Whatever that noise was, they can’t see it, so they might as well keep going. He gestures for them to continue, and Sandy moves into step with him.
They head further in. It gets impossibly darker. Eventually, Jack can barely see a few metres ahead, even with the torchlight. The sound of unseen movement follows them the whole time, and for every disturbed bush and broken stick, Jack feels himself become more on-edge. There’s anticipation in the air, so strong that even Baby Tooth is not immune, retreating further into the folds of his hood for safety.
Then, finally, he spots something.
They’ve reached a small clearing, lined with rocks and shrubs and dotted with patches of grass. Despite being freed from the canopy’s shelter, it’s almost darker here than the deepest part of the woods. But what really catches Jack’s attention is the half-destroyed wooden bed-frame right in the centre. And under it, he can just see what could be a hole.
“Sandy,” he whispers urgently. He’d better be filming this!
There’s no response from Sandy. Jack glances back over his shoulder in case he simply missed the movement.
The torch dies.
Baby Tooth presses herself against Jack’s neck. He can feel the rapid beating of her tiny heart.
“It’s okay,” he reassures her. He smacks the torch against his palm, but the batteries are completely dead. “Don’t worry, I brought spares.”
He swings the backpack around to his front, and feels for the zip to the pocket where he stashed the extra batteries.
“Sandy,” he calls again, fumbling with the latch over the battery compartment on the torch. “Sandy? You there?”
There’s still no response; no shifting feet, no tap on Jack’s arm to let him know he’s still there.
“Sandy?”
Nothing. Sandy isn’t there. Have they gotten separated? How?
He finally slots the new batteries into place, and flicks the torch back on. It doesn’t work.
“Come on,” Jack complains, gritting his teeth and rapidly switching the torch on and off. These are brand new batteries! They should be working! “When did my life become a horror cliché?”
“Lost?”
Jack freezes. He doesn’t recognise the voice – soft, and smooth like velvet – but he knows it’s not Sandy. A voice in the back of his mind says, ‘There’s one more cliché for you’. He ignores it, rapidly darting his gaze from one patch of shadow to the next. But the voice echoed, and he can’t pinpoint the source.
“Who’s there?” he calls warily. The hair on the back of his neck stands up. Baby Tooth makes a distressed noise, and he idly raises a hand to soothe her.
The ever-present heavy footfalls that have been following them seem to pick up in number, coming from all sides, but at best all Jack can see are dark blobs, definitely not humanoid in shape. Laboured breathing, like from a horse, fills the clearing.
“Haven’t you heard what happens to children who get lost in the woods?” the voice responds, ignoring Jack’s question.
He whips his head around to where he thinks it’s coming from. At the edge of the trees, one large blob is closer than the rest, and beside it is what looks like the silhouette of a human. Only taller.
Jack tries the torch again. It still refuses to work. Where the hell is Sandy? “I’m not lost,” he says.
“No,” muses the voice. “But your friend is.”
“I guess it’s a good thing he’s not a kid, then.”
The voice hums contemplatively.
Jack’s every instinct is telling him to run. And yeah, okay, maybe coming here was a bad idea. But this is the closest he’s come to a discovery and he’s not about to quit now.
“Who are you?” he tries again.
Their tone turns sharp, maliciously teasing. “Who do you think I am?”
Jack takes in the restless shadows around him, the unnatural lack of light, the bed frame he only got a few seconds to look at, the way his torch still refuses to function. “Honestly, I’m kinda hoping you’re the Bogeyman.”
There’s a pause, then a confused, “You’re... hoping?”
Jack shrugs, regardless that it probably can’t be seen. “I mean, that is the whole reason I came out here.” He squints at the figure’s silhouette, trying to make out any features besides ‘tall’. “So... are you?”
“Do I look like the Bogeyman?” the voice asks, sounding exasperated.
As if on cue, the torch flickers back to life.
Jack wastes no time aiming it in the figure’s direction. It’s a man. Tall, dressed entirely in black so dark he almost seems to blend into the shadows. His skin is so pale it looks grey, as if it’s been years since he’s seen any direct sunlight. The only colour on him at all are his eyes; a bright gold that almost appears to glow.
“Ah, damn,” he mutters. “Just a malnourished goth.” And he had his hopes up and everything.
He turns the torch to the space beside him, and with no small amount of confusion discovers that there’s nothing there. In fact, all of the shadows are gone now that the torch is working. Had he simply imagined them?
The man looks insulted. “I am not a goth.”
Jack gives him a once-over. “If you say so,” he says disbelievingly. “Who are you, then?”
The man sneers at him, and steps back into the darkness dramatically. “Pitch Black,” once again his voice echoes. “The Nightmare King.”
“Ex-theatre kid,” Jack rolls his eyes.
“Some call me a monster,” the voice whispers in his ear. And then, from further back in the trees, “A Bogeyman.”
Ah. So the stories really were based in fact, just super inflated into something fantastical. Their exciting Bogeyman is just some random theatre goth who likes to hang out in the woods. That’s... a little disappointing, actually.
“You’re not very afraid,” the man says, sounding disgruntled and stepping out of the shadows to Jack’s right.
Jack turns lazily in his direction. “Of you? Nah. I’ve lived with people scarier than you.”
The man appraises him, and his expression is once again all sharp eyes and teeth. And wow, his teeth are actually sharp. Maybe he should see a dentist about that. He could ask Tooth.
“No, you’re not afraid of me,” he drawls, amusement returning to his tone. “But you are afraid of something.” He disappears again. “You’re afraid of being abandoned again. Afraid that the new life you’ve built for yourself will come tumbling down around you like so many pieces of a broken dream.”
Jack tenses. How does this guy know anything about that?
“After all,” the voice continues, coming from everywhere at once, “it’s happened before. It’s happening again right now.”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Jack grounds out.
“Oh? Didn’t you come here with a friend?”
“That’s different.” It is. They just lost sight of each other, is all. Sandy didn’t abandon him. Wouldn’t abandon him.
“Is it?” the man asks softly, once again standing in the shadows front of him. He reaches out, one impossibly cold hand wrapping around the one Jack is using to hold the torch. Jack finds himself unable to move as the torch is switched off. The man leans forward, whispering. “You’d best run home, Jack. While you still have a home to run to.”
Jack frantically steps backwards, switching the torch back on the second he feels the stranger’s hand release him. The light is almost blinding, and he’s forced to squint as he waves it around, searching for where the man has gone now. There’s no sign of him.
Something grabs his hoodie. Jack yanks it back, nearly dropping the torch in how quickly he points it at the cause, heart leaping into his throat.
Sandy steps back with a wince, one hand raised to shield his eyes, the other still holding Jack’s phone.
“Sandy!” Jack heaves a sigh of relief. “Where did you go?!”
Sandy is watching him worriedly. He signs so quickly that Jack only catches bits and pieces of it, but he thinks he gets the gist. Sandy had somehow lost sight of him, and has been looking for the last fifteen minutes, and is Jack okay?
“I’m fine,” he says, although he’s not quite sure it’s true. He’s feeling a little rattled, actually.
‘Did you find anything?’ Sandy asks.
Jack glances back over his shoulder, but there’s nothing to see but vegetation. Even the hole in the ground and the bed frame he was so sure he saw is now gone. “Sort of. There was a really creepy goth here a minute ago, but I wouldn’t exactly call him Bogeyman material.” Even if he did know WAY more than made any kind of sense.
Sandy does not look at all relieved by this. He’s quick to insist they head back, and suddenly feeling very tired, Jack doesn’t fight him on it.
As they leave the clearing, Jack resists the urge to look back.
He doesn’t see the glowing eyes staring after them.

Red Dead Redemption 2: Doubts And Scars Chapter Fifteen: The Battle Of Shady Belle
First time not being Katherine’s P.O.V! Whooooo
So, it’s been like a month since I updated….. Whoops. Sorry about that, guys!
//Kieran’s P.O.V//
“She’ll be okay, Kieran. We’re going to find her. And we’re going to bring her home to you.” Lenny attempted to comfort me, as I had tears in my eyes, laying my head down. We were sitting at the table alone at the side of camp, near the river. At this time, no one harassed me. No one made fun of me. And no one physically abused me….. But I couldn’t enjoy it. Not with Raine missing.
“B-B-But what if she’s not….. She’s my little sister, Lenny….. I don’t know what I’d do without her.” The thought of Raine never coming back to me broke my heart. I lost my parents, my friends, my family, everything….. I couldn’t cope if I lost her too.
“I know….. I’ve seen the way you are with her. She adores you.”
“She doesn’t remember our parents….. But I do. They loved her. And they loved me. If they never got that goddamn disease, she’d be here right now…”
“If they never gotten that goddamn disease, I wouldn’t have met you.”
I raised my eyes to look at him in that sense. It wasn’t like anyone to actually be grateful for meeting me. Besides Katherine, nobody really gave a shit about me, other than Raine….. God, Raine….
“I feel like the worst brother in the world…”
“Well, don’t.” Lenny put his hand on mine. “It’s not your fault. Nobody could have predicted this. And let me tell you, when we were fighting at Braithwaite Manor; that was the bravest thing I’ve ever seen.” I looked at him in disbelief. Nobody has ever called me brave before, let alone a member of the Van Der Linde Gang. “Let people say what they want to say about you. it’s people like me and Katherine that really count. Believe me, I know what it’s like to be mistreated.” I looked him in the eye, clearly confused.
“What’d you mean?” I asked the younger man and he sighed.
“Both my mother and father were slaves. My mother died of sickness. And my father was beaten to death by a drunken man. I killed the man when I was fifteen years old. Ever since then, I had been running on my own, until I met Dutch. Some days, I can’t even go into town without being ridiculed, even people not knowing I was an outlaw.” I nodded in understanding. It’s unfair. He shouldn’t have to be treated like that just for the color of his skin.
“Where I’m from….. Nobody is treated like that. We’re all treated equally. Men, women, blacks, whites, mixed of both. It doesn’t matter. All of us are treated as human beings. It doesn’t matter where you come from, it matters how you treat the rest of the town.” I confessed and Lenny gave a small smile.
“That sounds nice.”
“Dutch! We have a problem!” Karen’s voice caught our attention, we turned back to see Karen and Sadie, guns in-hand and aimed at two people. Arthur said one was called Milton, and he didn’t remember the other one’s name.
“Not a problem. Visitors. Good day fine people.” Milton walked into camp like he owned the place; Lenny and I exchanged a worried glance, and quickly made our way to the middle of camp, where Dutch, Hosea, Katherine and Arthur were discussing how to handle Raine’s kidnapping….. “Mr. Van Der Linde. Mr. Matthews, I presume. And that would make you…..” Katherine crossed her arms, clearly annoyed with the man.
“Jane Shelley.” Katherine told him, but the man scoffed, knowing it wasn’t her real name.
“Very well, Ms. Shelley. Ah, Mr. Morgan. How wonderful to see you again.” Milton faked a smile, looking to the girl and her father.
“To what do I owe the pleasure, Agent Moron?”
There was a lot of talk involved. Basically, Milton said if Dutch turned himself in, he’d let us all go free and live like human beings. All of us scoffed or rolled our eyes at that. No way. Not without Raine. And I know Arthur, Hosea and Katherine wouldn’t leave Dutch in the hands of those Pinkerton agents, despite their little spats.
When Dutch acted as if he was going to turn himself in, all of us acted, guns in hands. I may not be a gang member in the eyes of most, but I sure as hell am going to act like one. Like Lenny said; “Let people say what they want to say about you. it’s people like me and Katherine that really count.” And he’s right. I just need to prove my worth.
“I think your new friend should leave now, Dutch.” Ms. Grimshaw told him, and Dutch smiled.
“Gladly. Bill. John. Escort our guests out, will you?”
“Certainly, Dutch.” John told him and basically pushed them out. “Let’s go! Move it!”
“Dad. They know where we’re located. We have no choice but to move camps.” Katherine put in and Arthur agreed.
“She’s right, Dutch. If we don’t move now, we’ll be dead by sunset.” Hosea put in and everyone agreed.
“Arthur and I found a place near Saint Denis awhile back. Big house, with walls and a roof. Big enough for everyone.” Lenny put in and Dutch nodded.
“Good. Arthur, you and….” Dutch looked around, trying to decide who to send with Arthur, and his eyes landed on me. he smiled and nodded reassuringly. “You and Kieran will check this place out. The rest of you get packing!”
“You’re really gonna trust the O’Driscoll boy?!” I heard Bill yell, and someone smack him.
“His names’ Kieran, you idiot!” Sean exclaimed and I gave a small smile. At least a few people have my back.
I grabbed Branwen, making sure Spirit was tied so he wouldn’t run off. He’s been antsy ever since Raine got kidnapped.
“You okay, boah?” Arthur asked as we rode, and I exhaled sharply.
“Do I look okay? My baby sister was kidnapped, my only family I have left, and the first question you ask me since then is ‘are you okay?’” I asked, clearly annoyed.
“Right. You’ve made your point. Look, nobody takes a child to harm her. They took her to scare us.” Arthur tried to reassure me.
“Nonsense! She may be a child, but she is also a teenager! She knows very little of how cruel the world is out there because I protect her from it! Do you know what the O’Driscoll’s tried to do to her?!” I exclaimed, and Arthur went silent for a moment. “They tried to rape her! On multiple occasions! And I took the hit for her, because I’m the one who’s supposed to protect her! She pleaded with you to let me go because she knew what they did to me and was scared you were going to do the same!”
“I’m sorry, kid…. I never knew.”
“Yeah. Well, nobody was supposed to know.”
We arrived at the house, leaving Branwen and Splash a ways back.
“O’Driscolls…..” Arthur mumbled, looking at my past “gangmates” in anger. “What’d you say? We blow up that dynamite, or one of us go in there, faking an injury or something, then we attack?”
“They’ll recognize me right away….. So, if we do that, it’d have to be you.”
“Fair enough. So? What’s it gonna be?”
I hummed a bit a looked at the house. There were twenty, thirty O’Driscolls. If Arthur were to walk in on that and they started shooting right away, he’d be a goner.
“Shoot the dynamite; I think we’ll have better luck.” I told him and he took out his rifle, letting out a breath, and shot it, instantly killing ten of them.
“We’re gonna kill all of you!” Arthur yelled, pulling a trick with his gun, killing three. I shot two off to the side, and one in a headshot on the balcony.
We had pretty much cleared out everyone outside and Arthur went inside to see if there was anyone in there. I kept my hand on my gun, just in case. I then felt my gun smacked from my hand, and me on the ground, and someone on top of me.
“WHO ARE YOU?!” The voice screamed and I looked up. The familiarity of the Scottish accent, brown burly hair and amber eyes widened my senses.
“Malcolm?” I asked in disbelief. Malcolm gasped in shock.
“Kieran?” He asked letting me up immediately, giving me my gun back. “What are you doing here?”
“What am I doing here? What are you doing here? I thought you were gonna stay in Montana.” I asked.
“Yeah, well, life had other ideas….” Malcolm mumbled, putting away his gun and I did the same. “Anna and Wilde got really worried. Sent me to find you. Found this.” Malcolm took of his jacket, which was actually my old jacket. “I thought you were dead. Fell in with the O’Driscolls a few months ago. Talked of the traitor who joined The Van Der Linde gang….. Never in a million years would I think it to be you.”
“I’m not a traitor….. You really have no idea what they’re capable of, Mac.” I told him and he furred his eyebrows.
“Where’s Sophia?” He asked and I sighed, wrapping my arms around myself.
“Raine….. She….. She got taken by Angelo Bronte.” I confessed and he gasped.
“What?! She’s what now? Fourteen? She’s still a child!” Malcolm expressed and I sighed.
“I know….”
“Kieran!” Arthur came out, gun in hand, pointing it at Malcolm.
“No, no, no! Arthur, it’s okay!” I stood in front of Malcolm, holding my hand out. “He’s a friend.”
“Friend?” He asked, gun still pointed.
“We knew each other from my hometown, we grew up together with our other two best friends, Wilde and Anna.” I told him and he looked between us but put the gun down.
“Fine. But any funny business….” Arthur made a cutting motion with his hands around his neck.
“Tell you what….” Malcolm looked around, seeing the dead O’Driscolls. “I like you already Arthur. And you have a lot of explain to do after you disappeared,” Malcolm pushed me in a teasing matter. “and I want to help you find Sophia. So, I’m gonna stick with you guys.”
“Really? You want to stay?” I asked and he nodded.
“Why not? I can also write to Montana and let Anna and Thomas know that you’re alive.”
“His names’ Wilde.” I corrected and he scoffed.
“Whatever.”
“Should I understand you two?” Arthur asked and I shook my head ‘no’
“Absolutely not.” We said in usion.
“Fine. You two clear out the bodies; I’ll go get the gang.” Arthur left on Splash and Malcolm eyed me.
“Gang?”
“Malcolm, do I have a story to tell you.”
“Indeed, you do. But we didn’t leave off on the best last words…. Did we?” He asked and I sighed.
“I know… And I’m sorry.” Malcolm walked up to me and wrapped me in his arms. Just like he used to before and ran his fingers through my hair. Just like he always used to do.
“Do they judge people for love?” He whispered to me and I shook my head.
“I don’t know.” I confessed, him then resting his forehead on mine. “Do you still care for me…. Even though I left?”
“If you were the most wanted person in the world, I would still care for you.” Malcolm told me and I smiled. I breathed in deeply and he kissed me on the lips, and I kissed him back.
“You know what they’ll think of us.” I told him once we pulled away from the kiss.
“Who?”
“Everyone…. People on the streets. In cities. Towns. They won’t approve.” I confessed, looking away.
“Fort Peck would.” Malcolm commented and I sighed and stepped away for a moment.
“I know….” I looked around and sighed. “We better get this place cleaned up.”
“I’ll get the people inside and help you outside when I’m done. Then you can tell me about the gang.”
I sighed and nodded. “Okay.”
I started dragging the bodies into the swamp and sighed. It’s really not fair. These times…. Are unfair to us.
If only we could change the world to be ours….

could you do literally anything with a bas-ass david? maybe protective david bc jack's gotten beat up?
I! LOVE! THIS! ASK! I! LOVE! THIS! ASK! ANON DID U COME DOWN FROM THE HEAVENS YOURSELF.
i meant to get this out by halloween, but…. life. so have a modern magic au!!! some handy dandy elemental magic on the jacobs siblings’ part, and its fun! (also. if anyone wants to request some fuckin. martial arts stuff id cry. someone let me write davey jacobs going through my Hell Routine.) but here you go!!!!! i lowkey like this a lot. its cute javid and tempermental davey and davey Magic Pranking assholes
Davey had two siblings with unheard-of powers and uncontrollable tempers, so he was pretty used to patching people up.
But it’d been years since he’d seen Jack with as much as a black eye.
“Medda’s been too good to me,” he’d said in tenth grade. “It’s about time I stop getting in trouble. For her, y’know.”
And Jack was true to his word. He’d lasted five years, all the way into college, without any real fights that escalated beyond yelling.
So as Davey patched him up for the first time in ages, he had to keep pausing when fire started dancing across the tips of his fingers.
“Dave, I’m fine, I to–” Jack hissed when Davey’s fingers just barely run across one of his bruises, and God, he can feel power brewing up to his ears.
“Three on one,” he manages between picking shards of glass out of Jack’s cuts, “isn’t fucking right.”
Jack sighed despite his fists being curled in tight balls. “I started it.”
“They’ve been provoking you for months.” Davey sat back and twirled one of the shards in his fingers, watching it melt just so something could. “Jack, you did the right thing.”
“What, get the shit beat outta me?”
“No, fight back.” Davey allowed himself to smile, running his fingers across the bandage on Jack’s forehead and brushing hair away from it. “You did alright, for a softie who hasn’t fought in five years.” His words were clearly teasing, but Jack frowned like they weren’t.
“Hey, not all of us got a bunch of magic whenever we need it.”
“I have my limits.”
“Yeah, sure. Put your limits in between the moon landing and you liking girls in the fake shit file.”
As if Davey really needed a reminder of his utter lack of heterosexuality, right when Jack was sitting so close to him, smiling widely and leaning into him.
Jack seemed to take his silence as a sign of remaining anger and sighed. “Please don’t pull anything.”
Davey gave him a look, and he shook his head. “You aren’t immune to trouble just because you’re magic. You’ve gotta think every once in a while.”
Davey didn’t consider himself short-fused like Sarah or Les, and he didn’t even have Jack’s impulsive streak. The problem was being around the three too much, and having to protect them. He loved them enough that he would, and he didn’t care enough about himself that he did.
If that made him rash, so be it. But no one called in favor of Jack when there was money and an All-American white family up against him. At least Davey had government protection because of his powers. It’d soften the blow if he ever got caught.
But really, he didn’t intend to.
Three against one was dirty, and anyone who did it could burn, for all he cared. But he wouldn’t hurt them.
Not badly.
Jack hadn’t been completely sure that Davey would do something about it, but his suspicions were confirmed when the bunsen burner exploded.
It wasn’t their bunsen burner, at least. But they had a class, a mandatory science one that made both of them want to throw themselves into the sun, with one of the guys from Monday. Jack had been hoping that best case scenario, Davey just acted like a bad high school bully and shouldered one of them into the walls once.
But then they were in their class, and everything was going fine until someone screamed, and there was a flash on fire in Jack’s peripheral.
One of them– Martin? Morris? Turned, terrified, to the professor as the fire immediately shrank back down, his hands scalded and the tip of his nose burned.
Davey kicked him under the table. “Look casual,” he muttered, and Jack thanked all four years of theatre Medda had insisted upon to keep his jaw from dropping.
After that it was smaller things– holding a tiny, tiny fire, just enough for the alarm to go off when one of them was going to ask a girl out, raising the air temperature so one got massive blotches of sweat all across his shirt before he made a presentation, just tiny, day-ruining things.
They didn’t suspect anything, and how could they? The Jacobs family were the only people on Earth with their abilities, and no one but Jack and Katherine, Sarah’s glamorous Manhattan journalist girlfriend, knew.
But still, Jack was coming to feel like maybe they’d ruined enough days.
He wasn’t a vengeful person, but Davey’s vindictive streak ran a mile long, and sometimes Jack had to stop it just for his peace of mind.
Which was exactly what he was going to try to do.
“Hey, Dave?”
Davey looked up from his textbook where he was curled on their shitty sofa, the telltale signs of curling, yellowed pages and the tiniest bit of smoke wafting off his hands activating Jack’s caution.
“You got a minute?”
He nodded, patting the space next to him and wincing when he saw his hand. He blew off the smoke and patted the space again, shifting to let Jack settle in next to him.
“You know I’m real thankful for everything that you’ve done, right?”
Davey pushed him with one elbow. “But you want me to stop.”
Jack blinked. “Yeah. Wait, how…”
“You say that every time you want me to stop. Dave, I’m real thankful for you making breakfast, you know I think it’s cool you’re making a new fireplace, Davey, you know I love you but she really isn’t worth your time to set her shoes on fire…”
He shuddered at that memory. “She was a monster.”
“And yet, her shoes lived because of you,” Davey joked. “You’re a good person, Jack. I’ll stop if you want me to.”
“I do,” Jack said firmly. Davey hummed, smiling at him, and started to open up his book again. Then Jack’s impulse control got the better of him. “Why do you care so much?”
Davey looked up hesitantly, his textbook fanned out in his lap. “Because you’re my best friend.”
Jack sighed, and Davey continued. “Because you live with me even though I set shit on fire, and you don’t tell anyone. Because you’re too generous to get people back. Because you haven’t fought in so long, and I don’t want to mess that up for you.” Jack looked right at Davey and only found complete sincerity. Then Davey looked down, furrowing his eyebrows. He paused, and then nodded, seemingly more to himself than Jack.
“I can’t have kids. They won’t let me.” Before Jack could say anything, he added, “I’m too dangerous, apparently.”
“But that’s…”
Ever since Jack had met Davey, his family had been the central focus of his life. Take care of his siblings, grow up, get a good job, marry someone he loved, raise kids, take care of his parents, teach his kids to do the same. And the idea that a chunk of that was taken away crushed him.
“Hey,” Davey said, taking Jack’s hand even though Davey was the one who’d just gotten the news that his life would never play out like he planned. “I can still have a life. Get a job, get married…” He trailed off, and Jack’s heart jumped to his throat as Davey’s eyes flicked down to his lips for the briefest moment. “To someone I love…”
Jack was brave enough to admit that he’d had maybe a million daydreams about the first time he and Davey would kiss. He was a romantic, sue him. But every single daydream he’d ever had was beat by reality.
He wasn’t sure who leaned in first, or who actually took the plunge of the last few inches.
All he was sure of was that Davey, like always, was just a few degrees warmer than anybody else. His lips were chapped despite the taste of chapstick. Also, you know, Davey Jacobs. Jack was about three seconds away from fainting.
Before he could, a thought struck him and he pulled back.
“What about the people who don’t know?”
Davey tried to frown, but the corners of his lips drifted back up into a smile. “What?”
“The ones you’ve kissed. Do they think you have a fever?”
He stared at Jack, his eyebrows rising up towards his hair, and then he lost it.
Jack groaned as Davey laughed, his entire body shaking, and Jack actually frowned.
“Come on, we had a moment!”
“The moment,” Davey said between giggles, “is dead. You killed the moment, Jack!”
“Daaavey,” he whined, and Davey sat back up, scooting forward until he was just inches away from Jack.
“Don’t worry about it,” he said, and Jack let himself smile again. “There are more moments.”
And as he leaned forward to kiss him again, Jack believed him. Damn the government, screw the world, fuck anyone who stood in their way. He’d have as many moments with Davey as he wanted, and he wouldn’t let anyone stop them.
#newsies#david jacobs#jack kelly#javid#penzy writes#anyways! i actually like this a lot! a long overdue one coming soon!

transcript: 9 - communication issues
Okay, so, we’re doing this again. Cool. Sup. It’s your girl.
No. No. That’s bad.
Charlotte, here. Cranor-Liu. From here. You know me. I know you. We’re friends. That’s--a thing that’s happening.
I have a better opening line. But first, a foreword. A preface? Not sure, not really giving two shits, but.
Cool.
So. Each of you individually texted me a potential opener for this. To be fair, and because they were all equally dumb and bad, I will read all of them individually.
Benji Ahuja, local small business owner and general huge nerd and also my worst enemy, but, like, in a friendly rivalry way, we are both so committed to this bit where we pretend to hate each other, okay, says: We got a real life possession on our hands, folks!
Corny. Bad. Sounds like a line from an 80s disaster movie, which, actually, is probably what you were going for.
I have never seen an 80s disaster movie. Was that 80s or 70s? Again, don’t really care. That’s rhetorical.
AJ Diggs, very good barista and very bad lab partner, yeah, dude, I am still bitter about that physics project from eighth grade where I had to write the whole paper at 3 AM, says: Did I miss anything?
He also used emojis in that, but I’ll spare him the embarrassment of reading out what they were. Actually--they were interrobangs, and then the 100 one a few times, as a joke, maybe? I don’t know if he knows what that one means. He’s not hip. He’s like a grandpa in a teen body. Wears the sweaters and everything. Not in the Macklemore way, which wouldn’t help him either, but in the actual grandpa way. He’s not even trying to be cool. He just dresses like a grandpa.
I love him very much. He is my dearest friend in the world. Thank you. Now, AJ, please never remind me that I said that.Because I can and will curse you and make you into a werewolf man or something. Cuz I’m evil and magical and can destroy you.
Robin Harper, writer and general icon: Can you maybe mention that my wedding was nice? I feel like Teresa didn’t acknowledge that enough. I’m kidding. LOL. Open it with, like. A message of concern. Say something nice, Charlotte. I love you. Hope you’re having a nice day. But. Please. Heart emoji. Heart emoji. Heart emoji.
Teresa literally told us not to be nice, so, uh, no. Love you too though.
Elaine Harper, crazy cat lady and also an icon: Dealing With Your Girlfriend From An Alternate Universe For Dummies is an easy book to write.
That’s--no one read those books. Did you read those books? Elaine, you’re legally obligated to tell me. Boom, roasted, whatever. I--that’s not even funny, Elaine, and you seemed to be, like, slightly cool, so, uh, thanks for ruining that illusion. I should have known, from the fact that you were getting married to Robin, but, alas, your cool vibes distracted me from that.
Teresa Marin, who sometimes gets possessed and who is also a student: Teresa Marin, more like Teresa Scarin’ me!
I absolutely refuse. No further comment. And, then, and here’s the interesting part:
Angie Thompson, student who wants, desperately, to be a singer-songwriter, but, like, who knows, maybe her music’s just not for me?: Teresa Marin, more like Teresa Scarin’ me!
Thinking about it, Angie probably sent that from both of their phones. Teresa’s not funny, but, uh, her jokes are better than that. I hope. Oh my God, I hope. Because Teresa is, like. Not a rhyming humor type of person. I know her well enough to know that, okay?
Anyway, so, uh, here’s my opener:
Can we learn how to, like, communicate like normal human goddamned beings about, like, the alternative universe that has entered into our lives? Like, I get not sharing out publicly, but we all know about it. We can, like, maybe tell each other about being possessed as soon as it happens the first time.
Look, my girlfriend, Mae Babson who, yes, is from an alternate universe, and who is also super cool and great and is my girlfriend and who is not a nerdlord, unlike you weirdasses and also me, was raised in a place where she cannot lie.
Which is sort of a cool thing, from, like, a moral standpoint, even though it was used to hurt her and those around her. Y’know what I mean?
Listen, look, listen, maybe we as a group of friends can take a page out of the book of the evil villain or whatever we’re calling him and, like, tell each other the truth.
But that’s—whatever. Whatever. We can make a Google Doc or something? Maybe. As a solution to this whole info-sharing crisis we’re having with each other.
Okay. So.
How’s me? How’s Charlotte? How is she doing? How on top is she? Is she still killing it?
Of course she is. But let’s elaborate. We need elaboration, here.
Well. I’m directing a one act that I wrote. That’s cool. My first few pitches got rejected, but, uh, the current one’s pretty good, so. I’m cool with that. And this one hopefully won’t get ruined by paranormal happenings. So. That’s cool. It’s a subversion of vampire romance tropes and a subtle commentary on heteropatriarchy in YA fiction. Because I’m that good.
Uh. I got a job? That’s something. Just heard back yesterday, I’ve actually only told AJ so far, so. Cool? It’s at the Bean Zone, so. AJ’s training me. So that’ll be a fun experience for all of us, which is to say, AJ, I’m going to make your life hell and there is nothing you can do to stop me. Absolutely nothing. Because Amanda loves me.
Mae is finally coming out of her shell, a little bit. You guys are—thanks for being good to her. I’m being genuine here. It’s very difficult to, uh. Cope? I guess, for her, and you guys are being genuinely cool.
Once you got over the whole alternate universe, thing, I mean, like. Thanks for not grilling her ever, but. You need to—
Whatever. Whatever. I’m not about to get sappy. I don’t do sappy. I’m a huge badass, and, as such, I don’t get sappy. We can all accept this about me.
I’m about to update you on Weird Shit. Because that, assholes, is the point of these. I mean, you could maybe argue that this is, as a group of people who are generally terrible at being alive and interacting at other people, a way for us to interact with other people, but.
Nah.
This is for weird shit updates. Those and only those
So. Teresa has been getting possessed on and off for months. If you’ve somehow managed to forget, which I haven’t. And my memory’s not great, so, I’m assuming that you’ve all remembered that. That’s cool. Kinda scary, but cool. Good to have that particular knowledge secured in terms of Weird Shit That’s Going Down Annual, a magazine edited by me.
But.
Uh. Mae seems to be the only fully successful—y’know. transport of a person to this world. She’s not sure why. I think it’s because she’s just very good at everything, but. She broke into a museum and everything, like, pulled a heist and all. Which is very cute. Very cool.
She doesn’t have a double. Most other people who’ve tried—do. There’s not another Mae Babson. There is another me, another Teresa, you get it. I don’t know—and really, I don’t care about why there aren’t doubles of certain people. That’s not—that’s a stupid thing to spend time caring about. For me. You guys can go wild on it, but, honestly? I’m cool with there being a second me. Mae says she’s chill.
Presumably, she’s—she’s extremely chill. And Mae—Mae didn’t know her super well, I guess? Because I’m—I’m sure that she’d like her. Probably better.
Because, uh. She’d understand and everything. And she’s probably a little. Y’know. More—determined. Sharper. Y’know? Because she’s—
I should not get jealous of myself in an alternate universe. She probably has self-esteem issues too.
Doc David Diggs says I need to work on projection. I’ve been talking to him. Do we all talk to him? I know that Angie does. And AJ doesn’t. But. Yeah.
Uh. Other Weird Shit. Hm. Let’s get into that. That’s—going on. Certainly, certainly, def, def, obvi, obvi, y’know how it is. More blank-faced people—failed travelers, I guess. The board is still a thing. I’ve snuck into a few meetings, and, uh. They’re pulling, uh, some shit. I took notes and everything. I’m not even taking APUSH notes anymore, so we can see that this actually matters to me.
Also, I still have a 93 in that class, so, uh, guess who’s on top? Yeah. I am a genius, thank you, thank you, thank you.
So. Notes. Notes on notes. Hell yeah.
So, I kept a chart of this, so.
Names of people on the board that I can make out are:
Hamish South
Katherine (not sure if it’s with a c or a k or a y or whatever? that’s a bad name to have. don’t name your child catherine. please) Brooks
Frederick Lewis
Daniel Wexton
Lisa Barnes
And there are a few others, but I can’t get their names. Mae doesn’t know any of the names, says that they’re way too secretive over there, so. Cool. You know how it is.
I have a few sketches of their faces, but they’re not great and I kind of have an issue with noses, so Mae can’t recognize them. None of them have doubles.
Daniel Wexton is the one who grabbed me, I think. Same voice and everything. Can’t quite make out his features, but.
These are the bad guys. That should be, uh, pretty obvious. But they’re the bad guys! That’s cool to know! Cue graphic, cheesy music, the more you know, and all the rest. Eugh. That’s—
So. Cool. We know who we’re going after.
Okay, more notes. Evil plans:
-Necromancy. The rest turned to sirens and other really painful noises, but I got necromancy? so? That’s important. I think it’s to get our boy Andy back, because this is very much a cult, which, cool, we’re infiltrating a cult, and by we’re, I mean me, and by infiltrating, I mean spying on, because I’m not technically getting into the cult itself. I’m just listening. You get me.
-Cut back on drama spending. That’s an evil plan. It’s the evil plan in every Muppet movie, and the board is doing it, so it counts. And yes, I do love the Muppets. I have emotions. I’m only human. I have a heart. None of you are allowed to repeat this to anyone ever. But, anyways, how fucked up is that? Not only are they trying to kill people, they’re also trying to take away my whole Thing, so. Yeah! Love this!
-Eliminate travelers from their place to ours, which makes sense, but which is, uh terrifying. Not much else to say, but it’s. Y’know. A thing that’s happening.
-Benji’s name came up one time but I got bored, so I stopped writing. Also the janitor walked in so I had to run before I got caught by anyone?
And that’s all that’s really relevant.
Um. I don’t really know how to end this? I guess--I just have to reaffirm that we know who the hell we’re investigating, and maybe fighting? Is this a showdown thing? Will there be a climactic battle sequence? Cuz I’m good at those. I can punch. Ask AJ.
So. Yeah. Update complete. This is Charlotte, signing off for now, cuz, uh. I--are we still doing sign-offs? Should I get a, uh. Like a normal one? Or one that we all use? Because I don’t trust you to come up with those things, because you’re clearly all less charming than me.
So. Yeah. We’re not doing that.
I do love you guys. Stay safe. Tell me if something happens.
Bye.

Practical magic
for @joey-prue her practical magic gif set for Klaroline au week inspired this. I wanted to do something for Klaroline infinity week. Caroline and her sisters are witches. This is not Damon friendly
Xxx
Katerina, Caroline and Davina Petrova are three sisters who have incredible magical powers but there is a curse placed on their family. Cast by their ancestor Amara who was also a witch she was supposed to be hanged for her crimes but with her magic she survived and was banished to an island. Not only did she live but her unborn child did too she waited for the father to come save her from the island, but he never did in her misery and sorrow she cast a spell that if you love a Petrova woman you will die.
Their mother heard the death bug and knew what it meant death was coming for her husband. Their mother died shortly after their father of a broken heart. So the three young sisters went to live with their aunts Aunt Jenna and Aunt Liz who were also witches just like the three sisters.
The oldest sister Katerina is only ten, her sisters Caroline and Davina are nine and seven. Katerina walks into the greenhouse one night and sees her two sister, a notebook and a bowl. “ What are you two doing?”
Caroline is holding a bowl with a couple petals in it while Davina is reading from the notebook. “A true love spell you can’t love something that doesn’t exist so I’ll never die like mom. ”
“He will have blue green eyes that sometimes shine gold, be British, have dark blonde curly hair, he will have a delicate but muscular face, will wear two necklaces, be a little bit paranoid, charismatic, manipulative, tough, artistic, sarcastic, calculating, possessive, and vengeful if anyone harms or makes me sad.”
Every word Caroline put a petal in the bowl which is full of petals. The sisters take the bowl outside and Caroline says some words in Latin. The petals float out of the bowl and into the night sky.
Xxx
Seven years later Katerina is running away with her newest boyfriend this one is named Mason. Caroline and Davina are sharing a blanket. “ I can’t believe your leaving us.”
Katherine yells down to Mason for his pocket knife he throws it up to her and she slices both her palms and then her sisters do the same and they join hands. “ My blood is your blood. We will always be together.”
The sisters hug and Katerina runs off with Mason.
Xxx
A couple years later Caroline found love with Tyler Lockwood and Davina ran off with a guy named Kol.
Four years later Caroline is so happy with Tyler their discussing having kids when Caroline heard it the death bug. She tried to ignore it but that night she was awoken by its sound. When Tyler came down for breakfast and the kitchen floor boards were ripped apart Caroline told him she couldn’t sleep so she renovated. Tyler died hours later he got hit by a truck crossing the street.
Xxx
Davina has been living with Kol for almost four years in New Orleans. He knows about her being a witch and he finds it fascinating. They have a one year old daughter named Kayla but have never said out loud that they love each other. Davina is not taking any chances with the curse. She’s laying in bed looking at the scar on her right hand the hand Caroline held that night they said goodbye to Katerina. Kol rolls over and kisses her shoulder “ What’s wrong?”
Davina looks over at him sleepy eyed and shirtless “ Somethings wrong Caroline’s sad.”
“ How can you tell Caroline’s sad?”
Davina raises her right hand and shows her scar on her palm “A couple years before I met you my older sister Katerina left one night with a guy named Mason. The three of us cut our palms and held hands and said ‘my blood is your blood. We will always be together.’ We can feel the others emotions because we have the same blood.”
Davina looks up from packing just realizing “ I can’t go Kayla I’m a terrible mother I totally forgot about my daughter what kind of a mom forgets about her daughter.”
Kol gets out of bed and comes over to her and pulls her into a hug “ Your a wonderful mom it’s understandable your sister is in distress your sisters are the only family you had before Kayla. Go I will watch Kayla.”
Davina looks up at Kol who nods “ I” she traces a heart on the palm of his hand “ you”
He does the same to her. She kisses Kayla on the head and leaves.
Xxx
Katerina has been living in Miami she has been going by the name of Katherine. She met the Salvatore brothers Damon and Stefan. She loves playing with them one day she’s with Damon the next she’s with Stefan she’s having fun. She’s with Damon when she looks at her left hand “ I have to go.”
Damon pulls her back in bed “ No you don’t where ever you have to go will still be there tomorrow tonight we drink.”
Katherine doesn’t like that she takes his bottle and brings it to her lips and chants in Latin the next drink he takes he becomes unconscious.
Xxx
As soon as Davina arrives in Virginia she sees Katerina in the airport she flew in from Miami. They run to each other and hug they haven’t seen each other in a few months. “I’ve missed you.”
“I’ve missed you too.”
“ Did you feel it Caroline’s sad I’ve never felt her this sad.”
Katerina and Davina pull up to to the old house they came to live in after their parents died their aunts house. They go up to Caroline’s room and see she’s asleep. They lay on each side of her and Katherine runs a finger down her nose. “ Hey”
“ Hey.”
“ Tell us what’s wrong?”
“ My husband is dead. Tyler is dead.”
Davina and Katherine hug their sister.
Xxx
“ Take my mind off it how is Kayla, How is Miami?”
“ Kayla is good she’s with Kol. She’s been trying to get out of her crib for the last couple of weeks.”
“Miami what can I say I’m by the pool dancing and I see these two extremely handsome guys at the bar and I can’t choose between them so I don’t everyday I’m with a new brother.”
Katherine and Davina were downstairs and the aunts told them something that Caroline needs to know “ Tell Caroline what you just told us.”
The aunts look ashamed “ We cast a spell for you to love Tyler. We didn’t expect you to really love him. Katerina ran off Davina was getting ready to run off you were alone and sad we just wanted to make you happy.”
“ You cast a spell so the love I had for Tyler was all fabricated, I will never forgive you.”
The aunts nod.
Xxx
Caroline finally gets out of bed and rejoins the real world. She goes to the little store she owns with her only friend in town Enzo. Enzo is the only one in town that never threw things at her and her sisters when they were kids for being witches or treated her different because of her magical ability. Enzo is the only one Caroline confiding in that she has magical abilities not even her late husband knew. They own a party planning business.
Xxx
Katherine calls one night and says she’s scared she needs help she’s in Atlanta. Caroline thinking of her older sister snaps her fingers and she’s in Atlanta, Davina did the same thing. “ She’s really scared.”
“ When we were kids I used to think Katerina was scared of nothing.”
They find Katherine huddled in the corner of a hotel room in Damon’s shirt.
They get Katherine out to Caroline’s rental car when Katerina looks up and sees there is red on the moon she needs her tiger eye but it’s in Damon’s car. She runs over to Damon’s car and when she opens the door Damon pulls her into the back and puts a knife to her throat.
Caroline and Davina go over to the car to see why their sister is taking so long and Damon tells them to get in and drive. Caroline drives and Davina manages to get the bourbon bottle and the lighter away from drunk Damon.
Davina looks over at Caroline who looks in the rearview mirror at Katherine who Damon has pulled into his side who nods. Davina brings the bottle up to her lips and silently chants in Latin. She gives Damon the bottle and he drinks but it doesn’t affect him.
Damon gets out to go to the bathroom and Caroline and Davina turn to their older sister. “ Katerina what are we going to do. He’s clearly out of his mind drunk.”
“I don’t know he should of been knocked out the second his lips touched the bottle. Maybe you said the wrong spell.”
Davina actually looks offended “I’ve never had to drug my boyfriend but I said the right spell maybe he build up a tolerance to the spell because you use it on him so much.”
Katherine looks at Damon’s turned back then at her sisters “ We are going to have to kill him. When he pulled me to the back he said I have to choose him or Stefan.”
“ I can’t kill someone I have a daughter.”
Katerina leans forward and takes her sisters hands “ If the police come looking for him I’ll tell them it was self defense. You will find true love and you will be with your daughter.”
Damon gets back in the car and asks Katherine if she chosen when she shakes her head he starts choking her. Davina climbs on top of him while Caroline is driving and trying to hit him Davina starts punching him. “Davina stop he’s out.”
Katherine checks his pulse and there is none. “He’s dead.”
Katherine looks up at her sisters “ Magic got us into this mess magic can get us out.”
“ I don’t think that’s a good idea. The aunts always said we can do anything except bring someone back.”
“So your telling me you wouldn’t try to bring back Kol if he died.”
“Of course I would try but this is different do you even love him?”
Katherine looking at Damon’s dead body then at her youngest sister. “ Does it matter he lives and I don’t go to prison.”
Xxx
The sisters carry Damon’s body into the house and put him on the table. Caroline goes to get the grimoire, Davina goes to get the supplies and Katherine cuts his shirt open.
“One more time Katerina are you sure you want to do this?”
Katherine nods. They start by burning sage and moving their hands clockwise over his bare chest. Caroline looks at the next step. “Why could we just be normal.”
Both sisters look at her Caroline elaborate. “ We have to put needles in his eyes.”
“ Gross but we aren’t normal. So let’s keep me out of prison.”
Caroline and Katherine put the needles in his eyes while Davina draws a white star on his chest. All three of them hold hands and chant “ Black is night, erase death from our sight, white is light, Hecate make it right.” Damon’s eyes open and he chokes Katherine. Davina tries to get Damon to stop and Caroline goes over to the stove and picks up the skillet and hits him a couple of times.
They drag him outside dig a hole and dump him in.
Xxx
The next morning there’s a knock on the door and the sisters look at each other nobody knocks on the door because everyone is scared to go near this house. Davina answers and its Kol and Kayla she pulls them in for a hug. “Since your needed both here with your sisters and at home I brought home to you. Where’s your room I can put our bags there then you can show us around this little town.”
Davina nods and takes Kayla from him and kisses her head then kisses him. “Oh and two old women came by the house said they were your aunts and told me to tell you to clean up your own mess. What does that mean?”
Davina is taken back “Um witch sister business you wouldn’t understand.”
Davina is making Kol something to eat he’s been driving all night. “Why is there a man by the roses?”
The sisters turn towards Kol who is looking out the window with Kayla who keeps pointing out the window. “ What are you taking about there’s no man out there.”
Caroline looks at Katherine while Davina is still looking outside “Where did that rose bush cone from?”
“I don’t know.”
Kol is looking at the sisters and Davina takes his hand “ Let me show you the town.”
Xxx
While in town Davina sees a group of women gossiping and looking at them. Davina looks at her and the main woman who was gossiping about them feels like she’s been slapped across the face. Kol kisses her on the forehead “ You amaze me everyday.”
While Davina and Kol are in town Caroline and Katherine are cutting down the rose bush that is right behind Damon’s grave. When they get outside they see the tips of Damon’s boots are sticking out. “ Oh my god is he rising?”
“Katerina calm down we will figure this out.”
They see Damon’s boots sink back down. They are cutting the roses when a British male voice interrupts them. “ Little early for roses.”
Both sisters turn around startled a blue green eyed man with dark blonde curly hair is standing in front of them. They look at each other and Caroline answers “ Can we help you with something?”
“I’m Klaus Mikaelson special investigator of Miami.” He shows his badge. “ Which one of you is Katerina Petrova?”
Katerina and Caroline share a look “ I am.”
“Why don’t you come in let us wash our hands then we can talk.”
Xxx
Caroline and Katherine are having a whispered conversation in the kitchen while Klaus is in the little green house off the kitchen. “Katerina what are we going to do.”
“ Here’s the story Damon and I got into a fight it was late I didn’t go to Stefan and I haven’t seen him since.”
Caroline nods “ What about Davina shouldn’t she know.”
Katherine shakes her head “ No Davina has a family she has something to loose. We only have each other.”
“ I love you Katerina.”
“ I love you too Caroline.”
As they’re about the leave the kitchen Caroline speaks “ Katerina I don’t know why but I feel a connection to him.”
Katherine looks between her sister and the special investigator. “ Shut it down.”
Xxx
They go out to the green house and see Klaus looking around. “ That’s herbs from the garden. Your a long way from Miami so what are you doing here?”
“ Stefan Salvatore said his brother is missing and was last seen with you.”
“ Damon and I had a fight I haven’t seen him in days. But enough me what about you. Your handsome do you have any handsome brothers?”
Klaus looks uncomfortable.“ Ma'am I’m here to investigate Damon’s disappearance and your involvement not talk about my personal life.”
“How about this I’ll answer your questions of you answer mine.”
Klaus looks over at Caroline who flicked her hand and the water boiled she’s pouring the tea into mugs. “ Is your sister always like this?”
“ Runs in the family how did you know we’re sisters.”
Klaus smiles at the blonde “ Your to beautiful to just be a friend, and the way you two act around each other.”
Caroline smiles at the compliment. Katherine looks at the two.
“ Do you know who’s car that is outside?”
Katherine speaks up but also tries to get him out of the house “ Mine.”
“ That car belongs to Damon Salvatore.”
“ He gave it to me as a present.”
Klaus is getting ready to leave when Davina and Kol come back. “ What are you doing here brother?”
All three sister look at the two men “ Brother.”
Kol Looks at the sisters “ Klaus is my older brother.”
Before Klaus leaves he leaves a kiss on Caroline’s hand “ I’ll see again.”
Xxx
“Davina why didn’t you tell us Kol’s brother is a cop, he’s investigating Damon’s disappearance.”
“ I didn’t know, Kol told me he had a lot of siblings, two are lawyers, special investigator, teacher, fashion designer. I’ve never met him. I’ve met his other siblings.”
Katherine turns towards Caroline. “ I saw the connection between you two. Instead of shutting it down we need you to get close to him. Figure out what he has on the investigation, lead him away from us.”
“ I am seducing a special investigator, my husband just died.”
“ Your love for each other was fabricated by the spell, You and klaus have a connection you would have to be blind not to see it.”
Xxx
Caroline goes into the store and Klaus is there questioning Enzo about Caroline and her sisters. “ Are you following me? You show up at my house, now at my business.”
“ Miss Petrova, I’m not following you I’m simply just doing my job trying to find Damon. Do you know anything about him.?”
“ They dated, had a fight and she left. He also gave her the car.”
“I’m suspecting that’s not what happened your leaving things out I want to talk with you more how about I come by your house tomorrow around ten.”
“ Sure.”
Klaus smiles at her “ It’s a date.”
Klaus leaves and Caroline leans up against the door of the store “ I’m in trouble.”
Enzo was at the filing cabinet watching them. “ Gorgeous what’s wrong talk to me.”
Caroline smiles Enzo’s always been there for her. He would stand up for her when they were younger the other kids in town would throw things at her and her sisters chanting witch witch your a witch, Enzo was the only one who tried to stop the other kids.
“ You know I love you your my best friend your the only person who really knows about my ability, but I can’t tell you.”
Enzo nods “ I love you too your best friend. Nothing you do will ever change that.”
Caroline hugs him tightly.
Xxx
The next morning at ten Klaus arrives at the house Kol answers the door.“ Why are here so early Nik?”
Caroline was coming down the stairs when she heard Kol call Klaus Nik. “ Nik I thought his name was Klaus.”
Klaus looks up at her and smiles she’s in a spaghetti strap sundress. “ My actual name is Niklaus Klaus is a nickname everyone calls me by and Nik is also a nickname only Kol and our little sister Rebekah call me.”
Caroline smiles down at him he’s dressed in jeans and Henley. His outfits more relaxed today yesterday he had a dress shirt and jacket on. “ Ready for breakfast what did you call it yesterday… A date.”
Klaus looks down sheepishly “ You look beautiful by the way.”
Caroline smiles and takes his hand “ Thank you follow me we will be having breakfast outside.”
Caroline is sitting next to him at the table waiting for the pancakes to be ready. “ So yesterday after you made our date what did the town have to say about us?”
“ This town is weird, I have people telling me you make food out of human organs, your witches, you worship the devil, you kill your husbands, you jump off the roof and fly.”
Caroline let’s out a little laugh. “ There’s no devil in the craft, and human organs don’t taste good, plus we only jump off the roof and fly on Halloween, we have no control over killing our husbands.”
“ Do you know how strange this all sounds to me.”
Caroline traces her fingers over his open palm “ I can guarantee you’ve never met someone like me. You’ve already met the woman of your dreams.”
Klaus looks down at his palm “ You can read palms is that part of your craft?”
“ There’s so much more to than just palm reading.”
Klaus had forgotten why he came here he’s has a crime to solve. “Are you hiding Damon Salvatore?”
“ Not in this house.”
Klaus gets closer “ Did you or your sisters kill Damon Salvatore?”
Caroline heard a noise and looks to see it was just her sisters and Kol bringing out breakfast “ Yeah a couple times.”
Xxx
During breakfast Caroline looks into his eyes and the way the sun is hitting them it looks gold and the way his shirt is unbuttoned at the top she can see two necklaces. She stumbles backwards almost knocking her chair back. “ Oh my god. I’m so sorry I have to go.”
Caroline runs into the house. Katherine and Davina run after her. They find her in the green house looking for something. “ Caroline what is wrong?”
Caroline turns around and holds up a notebook “ Do you remember this?”
Katherine and Davina look at the notebook and on one of the pages is the list Caroline made when she was nine of her perfect man. “ It’s Klaus. The perfect man I wished for is Klaus, his eyes are blue and green but when the light hits them just right they are gold, he’s British, wears two necklaces, has dark blonde curly hair, has a delicate face but muscular face, he’s charismatic. I can’t do it again, I can’t be in another fabricated relationship.”
Katherine and Davina put the notebook down and hug Caroline “ It wouldn’t be fabricated the spell you used when you were nine was a true love spell remember. You feel a connection between you two because he’s your true love.”
Xxx
Outside Kol and Klaus are still at the table Kol is feeding Kayla. “ So you never answered my question why are you here Nik? I don’t think it was to flirt with Davina’s older sister.”
“ One of Katerina’s boyfriends Damon Salvatore has gone missing Stefan Salvatore paid me to look into it. Speaking of why didn’t you tell me Davina mother of your child which still can’t believe you have a child, older sister is beautiful.”
Kol cutting up a pancake for Kayla “ Nik there are things you should know about this family but it’s not my place to tell you. What I can tell you is they have had a hard life you heard people in town talking about them the town hates them this town has bullied not only them but their whole family their whole life.”
Klaus looks back up at the house but a frog choking brings his attention back he follows the noise and sees a frog sitting on a rock a ring comes out of his mouth. Klaus bends down and with a napkin picks up the ring. “ Tell the sisters I don’t know what game they are playing but they better have a good lawyer, also don’t leave town.”
Xxx
Kol comes Into the house carrying Kayla and sees the sisters hugging “ Someone tell me what is going on right now.”
“ What are you talking about?”
“ I was outside talking with my brother and a frog starts choking then a ring with a D come out of its mouth. The D stands for Damon the man my brother is trying to find.”
Davina looks to her sisters then at Kol “ You would stay with me threw anything right?”
Kol nods “ Of course.”
Davina takes a breath “ You can’t tell anyone this. The night Katerina called me scared Damon was there. When we got to Katerina she was huddled in a corner of the hotel room. When she went to get her tigers eye Damon put a knife to her throat. I put a spell on his bottle so he would pass out Katerina uses the spell on him all the time. It didn’t work he started choking her and I climbed on top of him and started hitting him he passed out. Or so we thought he died so we tried to bring him back but when he woke he choked Katerina again Caroline hit him with a skillet a couple of times.”
Kol is shocked and doesn’t say another. “ Kol are you ok? Speak to me.”
“ I need to be alone to process this.”
Davina doesn’t like it but understands she takes Kayla and Kol disappears into the living room. Caroline Looks at her sister “ If Klaus really is my true love I have to tell him the truth.”
“ No telling Kol is way different than telling Klaus. It doesn’t matter if Kol knows he can’t do anything. Klaus could arrest not only me but all of us for murder.”
“ I have to take that risk. Katerina before breakfast I read his palm he already met the woman of his dreams. I will convince him not to arrest you or any of us. I have to try.”
Right after Caroline left Katerina was helping clear the table she gets right inside the kitchen and drops the plates she has a sharp shooting pain in her side “ Caroline, Davina.”
Davina was behind her “ Katerina what’s wrong?”
Katherine leaning on Davina “ I don’t know we need Caroline.”
Davina gets Katherine to the living room “ Kol I know your angry at the moment but this is important I need you to watch Kayla and Katerina while I find Caroline.
Before Davina leaves she flicks her hand and the broken plates become new again.
Xxx
Caroline finds Klaus outside his hotel ” I meant what I said you need a lawyer before you talk to me.“
” I don’t want a lawyer. Look you want to know things that I can tell you but I want to know things that you know.“
” Come in.“
Klaus brings her in and straightens up a little he had a couple drawings on the bed of her along with papers for the crime. Caroline picks one of the drawings its of her in front of the rose bush. Quietly she says ” He will be artistic.“
Klaus turns around and thought she said something ” Did you say something?“
Caroline hands the drawing to him ” Doesn’t matter.“
He gets his tape recorder ready ” Ready when you are.“
Caroline sits down and Klaus asks his first question. ” Do you know where Damon Salvatore is?“
"I think he’s in the spirit world haunting us.”
Klaus stops the recording “ If your not going to take this serious leave.”
“ I am taking this serious to prove it to you I will lay all my cards on the table, but in return I want you to do the same.”
“ You really are like your sister.”
Caroline smirks “Do we have a deal.”
Klaus nods “ My father died when we were young and right after my father died my mother died of a broken heart. I was nine when that happened Katerina was ten and Davina was seven we were sent to live with our aunts. Everyday we were teased people even threw rocks at us chanting that stupid chant witch witch your a witch. I never wanted to get my heartbroken like our mother so I cast a spell but many many years later the man I made up in my spell come into my life. The worse part is the man is trying to break up my family.”
Klaus looks at her she is close to crying and is being so open with him. “ What is this spell that your younger self cast?”
“ A true love spell. You can’t love something that doesn’t exist, but I was wrong the man does exist the spell must of worked because right now my heart is breaking because he is tearing my family apart.”
Klaus is listening to every word she is saying but can’t believe it “ If I may what are the characteristics you used in your spell.”
“ He will have blue green eyes that sometimes shine gold, be British, have dark blonde curly hair, he will have a delicate but muscular face, will wear two necklaces, be a bit paranoid, charismatic, manipulative, tough, artistic, sarcastic, calculating, possessive, and vengeful if anyone harms or makes me sad.”
Klaus is shocked everything she just said was him to a T. “You said you made this spell and these characteristics for a true love spell?”
Caroline nods “Your my true love.”
“So when you read my palm earlier and said you already met the woman of your dreams you meant you.”
Caroline nods. Klaus is quiet for a few seconds then speaks “ I’m breaking my true loves family apart. I will fix this.”
Klaus makes a call “Stefan your brother died of alcohol poisoning. Katerina Petrova had nothing to do with it she wasn’t even with him when he died.”
Klaus leans over to kiss her. “ It wasn’t this case that lead me here it a feeling it was you. When I saw you cutting down those roses I felt like I had come home like I had just found the missing piece.” He backs them up to the wall and she puts her legs around his waist she kisses him. There’s a knock on the door “ Go away.”
Davina runs into the room “ Caroline its Katerina she needs our help somethings wrong with her.”
Klaus let’s Caroline down she looks up at him “ You want to see what I can do without you trying to arrest us for murder.”
Xxx
As they are running up the driveway Caroline and Davina hear Katerina say “ Caroline Davina I need you.”
They run up to Katerina’s room and her chest is in the air she’s being possessed then a dirty dusty Damon rises out of Katherine.
Klaus and Kol ran after the girls Klaus pulls out his gun. “ Put the gun away it won’t work.”
While Damon is circling both Mikaelsons Caroline and Davina make there way over to Katherine who is laying on her bed breathing very heavily.
Damon sticks his hands in both Klaus and Kol’s chest and squeezes their hearts but Klaus badge burns him. He pulls his hands out and looks down and there is a star burned into his hand.
Damon turns into dust and tries to attack the guys but disappears. Davina and Caroline pulls Katerina into a hug.
“ That was Damon Salvatore what is going on you said he was in a spirit world.”
“Yes but I also said he was haunting us.”
Xxx
Davina went to check on Kayla while Caroline brings Katerina downstairs to make her some tea. Davina comes into the kitchen and Katerina begins to speak but it’s not her voice that comes out its Damon’s. “ Who do you choose me or Stefan?”
Caroline and Davina share a look and Caroline punches her in the face. Katerina falls to the floor unconscious.
The front door opens and aunt Jenna and aunt Liz come in “ We’re too late.”
“ Our instincts must be rusty.”
Then they notice the guys “ Oh hello.”
Davina introduces the guys to the aunts.
Xxx
“ This is what you get for doing spells we told you never to do.”
The aunts have Katerina tied to a chair “ We have to banish him force his spirit back to the grave. We need a full coven twelve women.”
Caroline calls Enzo who is on a date with his girlfriend Bonnie Bennett “ Enzo I need your help. I need you to come to my house and bring Bonnie and all her friends.”
Bonnie is the mayors daughter. She thinks Caroline and her sisters are weird. “ What’s going on is everything ok.”
Caroline looks back at Katerina strapped to a chair “ No remember earlier when I said I’m in trouble well now I’m in even bigger trouble and I need twelve woman to help me fix it plus i need them to bring brooms.”
“ What is going on?”
“ Katerina is possessed by a evil spirt and we need to banish him and send him back to the grave.”
Xxx
The aunts told Klaus and Kol to clear the living room and find get every candle they can find. They found all the candles and Caroline goes into the room after calling Enzo. “ Watch this” she flicks her hand and all the candles light.
Klaus looks around and all the candles are lit he didn’t believe until now. “ You are amazing.”
Enzo arrives with Bonnie and her friends. “ Come in come in.”
Bonnie has never been inside the house she has always wanted to go inside but she heard the rumors surrounding not only the house but the residents of the house. “ Just to be clear I’m not doing this for you, I’m doing this for Enzo he asked and I love him.”
“ Always a pleasure Bonnie.”
All the women are in the kitchen and aunt Liz is stirring a brew in a big pot. “ Now all you have to do is keep stirring dig in. You get used to the smell.”
Xxx
All the women have joined a circle and are holding the brooms so they are over lapping each other Katerina laying in the middle of the circle. Caroline, Davina, Liz and Jenna start chanting in Latin the rest of the ladies try to follow.
Katerina is rolling around on the floor yelling no. Katerina tries to attack her sisters but the circle is a barrier spell so it knocks her back.
Caroline and Davina stop chanting and bend down. “ It’s going to be ok Katerina.”
The ladies put the brooms down and step back “ Don’t leave me.”
Caroline and Davina are laying outside the circle while Katerina is still inside. “ Never.”
“ He’s stronger than me. What if I can’t fight him?”
“ Your the strongest person we know. You can fight him and win. Remember your blood is our blood we will always be together.”
Katerina faintly says “ I love you Caroline, I love you Davina.” Then closes her eyes.
“We love you Katerina.”
Xxx
Caroline and Davina look at each other and at the same time say “ Our blood.”
“ Everyone form a circle we have an idea.”
They remove one of the brooms and Caroline and Davina sit down with a bottle of bourbon “ Damon I got a present for you.”
Katerina opens her eyes and they know Damon is possessing her right now. She starts rising and looks around. “ Are you thirsty?”
She starts reaching for the bottle and Caroline takes it away and drinks it “ You can’t have it.”
Katerina goes to attack them when the other women grab her and both Davina and Caroline slice their palms and slice Katerina’s palms and join hands. “ Your blood is my blood we will always be together. ”
“ Put your arms around each other.”
Caroline and Davina pull Katerina In for a hug. While the other ladies join hands around the sisters. White light surrounds the sisters and they see Amara then a gust of air breaks them apart. “ Katerina.”
“ It’s me I love you two.”
“ We love you.”
Aunt Liz and aunt Jenna look up and there is a dark dusty cloud above the circle. “ Girls move. We aren’t done yet.”
The dark dusty cloud falls to the circle. They ladies sweep it into the backyard and Caroline, Davina, and Katerina pour the brew aunt Liz made on the ashes. As they pour they hear no.
“He’s gone.”
Xxx
The ladies and Enzo leave and it’s just the sisters, aunts, and Mikaelsons. Klaus goes over to Caroline “ My true love is a witch and I couldn’t of been more proud and amazed by what you can do.”
Caroline puts her arms around his neck “ So does that mean your sticking around this weird town to be with me.”
Klaus leans down and pecks her on the lips “ Maybe.”
Caroline turns towards her aunts “ Aunt Jenna, Aunt Liz I forgive you and when we were holding on to each other we saw Amara.”
“ My sweet girls you broke the curse your love for each other is so pure and happy that it broke the curse.”
Kol sweeps Davina into his arms “ I love you Davina claire.”
“ I love you Kol Mikaelson.”
Kol gets down on one knee “ Davina claire I have waited so long to ask you this. Will you marry me?”
“ Of course yes a thousand times yes. ”
Xxx
That Halloween the whole town including the women who helped free Katerina, Klaus, Kol and all their siblings joined outside the house. While Caroline, Davina, Katerina, aunt Liz and aunt Jenna have black dresses and witches hats on went on the roof. They go to the edge of the roof open their black umbrellas and jump. The town claps as the witches’s feet touch the ground. The town has finally embraced them.
Klaus comes over to Caroline and kisses her.
Katerina puts her arms around her sisters shoulders. “ Who is that handsome guy?”
Caroline and Davina look where Katerina is looking and she’s klaus and Kol talking with the mystery man. Davina answers “ That’s Elijah, Klaus and Kol’s older brother.”
“ I think it’s time I get myself a Mikaelson.”
The three sister laugh. Their bond is stronger than anything and nothing can break them apart.
