I try to respect differing interpretations in fiction and then I see something like this akin to "Tolkien was scared of hobbits". wdym "the author's favorite character using the typewriter is supposed to be scary and the author was clearly scared of the very thing that defeats an ancient evil." Hello? It's so dark in here
