- On Top Of Sanctuary Hills and Far Away (fic): So, holy shit, this was the fic that sorta started it all. Not the very first fallout fic I wrote, but I honestly was still new to like writing fallout fic when this one was created and was super uncertain of like what to even write when... I had an idea. What would happen if the Sole Survivor never stuck around in Sanctuary Hills to run into Codsworth? I thought a bit and well, Echo started to get more of a footing. I started to understand her more and thinking about how to work in who she is into this sandbox... This fic is where I felt change happening in my own writing. Its where I started to understand how to add a bit more description in things and adding more character thoughts while playing around with the idea of the past mixing with the present. I’m so proud of this fic and I hope to throw down another chapter this coming year!!! :D

- Flicker (fic): The first fic that I started to really lean into some self indulgence. I LOVE spooky shit and by golly I was gonna have a ghost! I thrive when writing spooky stuff. Ambience, tone... the lil mystery about the ghost himself. I just leaned into my spooky roots haha All sorta started with the whole Cask of Amontillado reference/joke and adding a dash of fun before BAM ITS SPOOKY TIME YALL. Ugh, one of these days I’m gonna write another spooky story! This is just the beginning!!! More spooky times ahead!!!

- Rest & Rewind (fic): This takes place like just hours after Flicker and its like... this one and another one I’ll mention in a bit is where I started to let myself indulge in writing my fics more and I mean a different kind of indulgence than Flicker. I was...nervous when writing because well, it was the first time I decided to stop being a coward and actually write the ship Nick/Echo rather than using the &. Which, frankly was a bit of a good call cause it signaled a turning point in their relationship. Because it shows a moment of rest after a fight (with a ghost), the reveal I had been planning on how to explain Echo’s main psyker ability, and also having her and Nick bond. I still cannot fuckin believe it almost hit 5k??? Like, for real before this fandom, I struggle bus hard at getting past 1.5k unless the idea was way too massive for me to chew on. And yet, here I am with this fic existing.

- Sway (fic): I just... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. This is just...peak self indulgence for me honestly. I heard the song one time and just, couldn’t stop...thinking about Nick and Echo just having a sweet moment and dancing together and QAQ. I was so embarrassed while writing it honestly, but I pushed through and shit I came out okay! Heck. Also, fuck not gonna lie I thought hard about the timing about each lyric coming through by time stamping certain lines I wanted to incorporate and the amount of effort for the dancing bit... easily a solid hour was used haha. I was very hung up about how long the two should talk or move between the lines and how to time it proper and I’m really glad I did it cause it just came out so nice. The latter half came out so fuckin easy after all that time stamping I did on the song XD I would not quit and I’ll say, I was quite the madwoman but shit ya did good past me.

- Late Night Cohesion (fic): Fun fact, I haven’t had X6 as a companion yet, but this man, looks like he’d have some dry humor. He was so fun to write...somebody’s gotta dunk on my asshole oc XD Just lord some of the dialogue that came out of this was so unreal and I am forever pleased about how this fic turned out. The fuckin chemistry... UGH SO FUCKIN TASTYYYYY!!!

Also like, this has probably been the most I’ve written in a long time. I’m...really glad I was able to find some footing ;w; met some cool folks along the way too.
