This is another idea I've been slowly writing out, but what if Bruce got bitten by a radioactive bat spider-man—style during one of his patrols and he now turns into an actual batman.
The Batkids are mortified and confused when they find their father resting upside down along with the colony of bats sleeping on the ceiling of the Batcave.
He has completely discarded using the night vision mode on his lenses as his eyes are now naturally able to adjust to even the darkest environment. And most importantly!! He has the ability to use echolocation !! Their father can echolocate !!
Paired up with his now enhanced hearing, it's impossible to sneak past him. His physical ability and reflexes are heightened and he's able to move quieter than before.
Scariest part? He's developed retractable wings, fangs and claws. Jason would make fun of him for looking like a cheap version of a vampire on steroids, if it weren't for the fact that he actually looks terrifying.

Bored so I'm gonna drop the sweet lore for this monster I came up with called the Batwolf.
So batwolves are creatures from hell that are (you guessed it) half bat, half wolf, all edge. They're pack hunters that roam the infernal underworld or work under stronger demons and monsters like hounds. They originally were supposed to have wings but I felt having them alongside all their other features would look too busy.
The main thing that separates them from regular hellish wolves are their big giant ears that allow them to echolocate using earth shaking howls. Their loud voices can also be used to stun or even kill prey. Another thing that separates them from the average canine are the steely hard scales that cover their arms and legs, their scales are hard enough to shatter blades or the fangs and claws of other predators. This literal edginess is also reflected in their tails, when calm their tails are quite fluffy like a normal dog's, but when agitated the hairs stiffen and fan out like quils or perhaps razors. Finally, batwolves are big as hell (pun intended), standing on average at 10 feet tall when on all fours.
All batwolves have a third eyeball somewhere on their heads, be it in an existing socket, on their foreheads, or adjacent to other eyes. This third eye acts as the source for their demonic strength, and a prized trophy for any devil hunter.
The batwolf reflected by my fursona specifically crawled out of a pit onto the surface and made a nearby mountainous region it's home. Ironically, that territory is a sort of safe haven for human villages as the batwolf there had never encountered humans, and does not recognize them as prey items, instead protecting the area from other large monsters that it does view as threats.
