Unpopular opinion about XXX character? ok you said vadelma! hm, i just straight up think that in the end she doesn’t really deserve marian lol,,,, but if she gets development in bup and we see them interact more that could change. i do think that she comes off as manipulative in FM though. whether she’s actually aware of that herself is less clear though and personally that nuance is interesting to me? but intentionally or not her attitude towards bella and the way she told the backstory to whinter was biased and ill die on that hill tbh

22. Popular character you hate? i suppose whinter lol, he’s popular i guess? arnick is probably the most popular guy but as said before i dont hate him really (and im perfectly fine with whinter in bup so far, too)

What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom? :-) lmfao.i mean in general its toxic and no one knows how to like… have a discussion like a normal person about anything. everything is so black and white all the time.obviously im not perfect in this respect and tbh i regret a lot of the complaints ive made in the past. but i will always try and at least give a respectful opinion when i disagree with something instead of straight up being hostile, and people who just shit on tammy, especially in comments and asks that she DIRECTLY READS, for not doing everything they want in the series really get on my nerves considering the sheer amount of content she puts out.but ANYWAYSive met some rly cool people from this fandom and the best way to enjoy fandom imo is to find a few good friends and not engage in discussions or discourse or content that you KNOW will make you upset and so thats what im trying to do

i think most people who know me know how anxious discourse makes me (especially the tumblr variety) so im rly just here to talk about the series and enjoy it, even if i dont agree with everything,,, cause like,, that’s life babey

Since the “bad endings” of the FE15 gang have already fueled much ‘fic and meta I decided to revisit my old post-game death headcanon for the FE2 gang to see what still works in light of remakes. Taken from my old LJ/DW... old text in italics, new ideas in bold.

I’m keeping in mind that, in many games, human characters in their early-to-mid thirties are in no sense treated as youngsters, while characters in their fifties and sixties are often treated as decrepit. In other words, forty years of age seems to be very definitely Over the Hill.

We now have canon ages for everyone!!!

Valencia:

Zeke, International Man of Mystery, lives longer than he has any right to and dies peacefully surrounded by his harem and various offspring.

Still valid as far as I am concerned.

Bowy-- accidentally blows himself up in his late twenties

Still could happen but I wasn’t expecting they’d have a whole pack of kiddos. -_-

May-- traumatized by the death of her partner Bowy, but gets better in the end and becomes a sharp-tongued old lady

Jesse-- the new king of the desert ends up dead from an infected wound, aged fortyish. He is mourned by his wife, Est.

LOL. I don’t ship this anymore. Still plausible enough for Jesse tho.

Saber-- alcoholism, dude. Jenny carries on thereafter.

Shit I don’t even know how to feel about the whole Saber/Genny discourse but FE15!Saber is a cool dude and I wish him well. Genny lives long and writes many novels.

Claire, Robin, and Gray-- IMO this turns into a mid-life trainwreck. Robin ends up dead, Gray drowns his sorrows in booze, and Claire leaves in disgust. She always did want to bang Alm, anyway.

Yeah FE15 didn’t rule any of this out for Tobin & friends. I just don’t have the mental energy to envision this particular trainwreck.

Ryuto just vanishes in the end. Maybe he’s still around, somewhere...

Ryuto = Luthier. So, yeah.

Maisen-- not as old as he looks, Maisen lives well into the reign of his “grandson” Alm.

Surprise! He’s even older than he looks, being 65 during the main-game and therefore a certified BAMF beyond the measure of the ordinary Jagen. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he lived to 85+ even so.

Alm & Cellica-- have a long and happy partnership and die from natural causes in venerable old age. I figure Cellica outlives Alm by maybe a year or two.

Still valid unless they’re one of those couples that literally dies within hours of one another. 

That was all I had at the time. Note the Celica Route bias and note which characters I gave zero shits about at the time.
