BSDecember day 2

It's already december. The year passed too quicly, just like the other ones. And it's already dusk. Edgar had woken up at 5:30 am just to be able to make a check on his to-do list. He wasn't even able to cover half of the paper.

The snow had been falling for half a day, and it seemed like no matter how much warm clothes he put on, the cold still reached his bones.

And as much as he'd like to stay in bed all day, he didn't have that kind of privilege.

His latest book had shown itself to be more of a headache than the writer had imagined, With a difficult story and plot holes that kept showing up any time he’d reread it.

So that’s where Edgar Allan Poe found himself, the sun had already said it’s goodnight and the moon welcomed more cold into his apartment. Although he had already turned on the heater, the room’s temperature didn’t change. Fortunately, he had a portable heater kept in the highest part of his closet, only there for these kinds of situations. Unfurtunately, though, it was small. it couldn’t offer heat for all of his body, so after some thought, he decided to put it under his desk, so atleast his legs didn’t shake all the time.

Ranpo was exhausted. A tough case had left the agency working until late at night and the snow had made all of the roads completely white and fluffy, making the journey home way longer than what wa’s supposed to be.

When Akiko dropped him off at Ed’s apartment, the only thing the detective could think of was snuggling with his partner and drinking something warm while seeing the snow fall.

As Ranpo entered the house, he noticed the lack of sounds coming from inside, not even Karl had come to greet him. Ranpo had first thought that they must be asleep already, but considering the lights that are still turned on and knowing how full Poe’s schedule is, he can deduce that his beloved probably fell asleep in his office again.

And when was Ranpo ever wrong?

Edgar was draped over his desk, arms crossed over papers and pen serving as a cushion for the mop of unkempt brown hair. He wore a hoodie and warm pants with the addition of two blankets, his weighted one above the blue fuzzy other. Karl slept at his side on the table, taking benefit of the abandoned side of the blue fabric on top of the table.

It felt like it didn’t matter how many times Ranpo asked Ed not to overwork, the writer would always push himself to the limit. Ranpo sighed, he better wake up the other soon or else he would be really uncomfortable in the morning.

Putting his hands gently on the other’s head, the detective whispered “Ed, come on, you know you’ll feel ache in the morning if you sleep on the desk”

Grey eyes were met with green emerald ones, and Poe realized what he did. “oh, Ranpo… I didn't mean to..”

“Don’t worry that pretty head of yours. I just care about you, you nerd.” The hands that before were petting his hair now messed with them. “What do you think about a warm drink before we sleep in the correct place?”

“That’d be great, actually…” If Poe had to adimitt one thing, it would be that he was constantly dehydrated. A cup of tea would do him good.

As the two were leaving the room, Ranpo paused. “Go put some pajamas on while I make your tea. Promise I’ll not set the kitchen on fire this time.” And gave a sheepish smile.

He wished he was joking, but Ranpo did really almost cause a disaster after trying to make one single fried egg some months ago. But, Ed was exausted. He’d also come to the conclusion that he wouldn’t be able to stop his partner anyway, so no reason for trying to refuse the offer.

“Oh, Ed?”

Poe turned around. “Yes, dear?”

“Just don’t forget to take out your binder, please. your spine is probably screaming already for help.”

Oh, right. He was wearing a binder. And for more than 8 hours, too. Edgar had his head so deep into his responsibilities he had even forgotten about the compressing piece of clothing wrapped around his chest!

After a lucky attempt at making warm drinks and putting on some comfortable pajamas, they sat in the middle of their bed, now with warm mugs on both of their hands. (Poe always drank chamomile tea or a blend that had the herb. Ranpo on the other way almost always had hot chocolate), and leaned into eachother looking at the room’s window, having a beautiful view of the snow and Yokohama’s harbor.

Half an hour later, the mugs were already empty, the only light present was coming from outside of the room, and both Ranpo and Ed were already asleep holding eachother with Karl at the center, providing the most comfortable warmth that the writer thought he had ever felt.

December Special

(I will update this post regularly)

Hi everyone!

I'm planing on writing exactly five chapters throughout December, which means every Sunday. You guys can send me requests until November 12th. After that, we will decide together, which of the requests I will write. Everytime I get a request for this event here on Tumblr or on Wattpad, I will put it on the list in this post.

You can request anything, it can be completely different from my story. The requests, which I've already gotten and didn't add to this list, will appear in the actual story I am currently writing.

I will not write anything about minors (obviously) and I will only add requests, which I am comfortable with (If I am just not into a certian kink, it is hard to write and I think the smut will suck then).

I will sort the requests by groups/ soloists. You can put in more than one request. I'm also reserving one chapter for actresses only, since I feel like there not as many smuts about them (But I'm afraid I don't know that many).

Update:

I will structure the voting as followed:

Everyone has four votes aka I will do four polls, since there are four chapters to be picked. The voting will take place from the 12th of November until the 26th. You can still send me requests during that time, but be aware that the people who already voted might not look at the poll again, until it's decided. I will encourage the people on Wattpad to vote on Tumblr, so that everyone is able to follow the process. But if that's not possible for some, I will allow dms or comments.

I will not announce the winners. I like to keep it interesting so prepare to be surprised ;) The order of the chapters will be decided by me.

Please bear in mind that I might not live in the same timezone as you, which means the updates might be delayed for some. I will also notify you, if I will not be able to finish a chapter until the deadline, but I will do my best that this will not happen. Of course you never know.

You meet your exgirlfriend IU at a high school friend's wedding. After the memories of your school times come back, the two of you sneak off.

Dreamcatcher:

After just being hired by Dreamcatcher Company, you are already tasked with shooting Jiu's and SuA's special clip. Jiu knows that you are an Insomnia and that SuA is your bias. Maybe you will get to shoot another type of special clip with the two of them, thanks to Jiu.

After another exausting week, Gahyeon visits her boyfriend, who is currently living on Jeju island. Once she gets there, she realizes, that he is cheating on her with someone else. As she walks in, Gahyeon sees SuA,who is already bouncing on top of her boyfriend.

Red Velvet:

You and Irene are coworkers with a special history. The two of you tried out more kinks and positions and places than even married couples. But some things are still missing. Luckily, Irene has a friend, who is working in your company as well. Kang Seulgi. The young intern, who got hired a couple of weeks ago. You were planning on welcoming her properly anyways.

Being a demon has its up and downs. But there is one thing you will never get tired off. People who summon you. Either for fun, or because they are convinced that there aren't any supernatural beings. Or, In this case, three gorgous women, who want to experience more than just meaningless sex with strangers. Joy, Seulgi and Yeri have only one thing in mind, while they summon you.

You have worked with a couple of idols already. THey are often models and embassadors for brands after all. Now you are tasked with filming a small video to promote Jimmy Choo's newly designed dress. The woman who appears in your studio is no other than Cho Miyeon.

Itzy:

Yuna has always been quite kinky. But her Christmas present for you this year is on another level. It's Ryujin. She is kneeling on her bed, wrapped in red lingerie and a bow like a gift. Her hands are tied behind her back, while her eyes are covered with a red blindfold.

Le Sserafim:

You have already tried everything. Drinking warm milk with honey, listening to music, reading a book. Nothing. Working out, spending more time on your job. Nothing. Even after bringing that girl home last night, Yunjin, you vaguely remember her name, didn't help at all. You still can't fall asleep. It's late at night and you are lying in bed once more. Sleepless. THen, your doorbel rings. That must be your neighbour. Chaewon. After telling her about your insimnia, she said she might know something.

Twice:

Going to college is already hard enough, considering your background. Bad grades, devorced father, stepmother and stepsister and so on. The only reason you got in was because of your scholarship. You are not a good student. But a talented football player. And now everything becomes even more difficult. While trying to learn for your upcoming test, someone nocks on your door. Tzyuy, your stepsister. Her and her mom, Jihyo, seemed to have gotten in ahuge fight once again. Can you cheer her up?

Girls Generation:

The one thing you love most about your job is the fact that you see beautiful women pretty much every day. Being a photographer enables you to make them take almost any kind of pose in any kind of outfit. Of course, when you started your career, you never thought about it like this. Until you meet Im Yoona.

Cross groups/soloists:

IU's and Kang Seulgi's competition started, when they caught each other, having sex backstage during an award show, a couple of months ago. At first, it picked up slowly. Random challenges, send via text on the kakaoTalk app, answered by pictures as proof of the accomplished mission. Now, the two of them are tied, desperate to come up with something new. Luckily, IU and Seulgi have alot of fans, who are more than happy to help them out.

One thing idols do best is taking pictures. For Istagram for Facebook, you name it. And Jini is no exception. But this time, unbeknownst to her fans, there is a reason why she only uploaded pictures with her upper body visible. Reading the comments afterwards makes her smile. If only they knew what was going on.

Idols are always stressed, overworked and tired. On top of that, they can't even relax properly. They have to be carefull about heir food, words and actions. And one thing, that some people might neglect, is sexual satisfaction. That becomes a problem for Karina, Jihyo and Eunbi. Having bigger breasts only adds to their problems. Due to stress, their milk production starts to rise. When three of them invite you to join their pre-Christmas party, they obviously have ulterior motives.

December is always hectic for you. Luckily, you are sometimes able to blend out the real world and immerse into kpop. You are a member of a few discord channels and Reddit communities. One night, you see there is only one other person in one specific chatroom. The two of you send each other spicy pics and gifs of your favourite idols, like you usually do. Suddenly, you receive similar kind of pictures from an unknown number. Pictures of Kazuha. Asking your online friend about it, he actually is experiencing the same, but with pictures of An Yujin. What is this about? And what is the last picture you receive? A condom? What is going on?

You immediately harden at th sight of your coworker in her stage outfit. Karina looks like a holy being as the makeup artist finishes her job. She looks up at you through the mirror nervously. You are not supposed to be here. You are perfoming soon as well, your own group is getting ready in the next room. But sometimes, like today, Karina gets stressed and worried before her perfomance. The two of you sneak off, finding a closet that seems perfect for your purpose. You freeze in the door as you see Irene between Taeyeons's legs.

Actresses:

You knew this might happen. You read the script of your new role in the upcoming kdrama. And yet, you are surprised, when your co-star pulls you aside after filming that day. Seo Yeaji's face can switch in a heartbeat. From a cold and emotionless mask, to an adorable, cute smile. While she asks you, if the two of you could practice that one scene, her face shows a new expression. Lust. It's quite a spicy scene after all.

Hong Chayoung is a very skilled and succesful lawyer at the law firm Wusang. Being the Babel Group's legal representative, she does everything to win against the opposition. You used to be a member of Park Seokdo's Ant company. After having a rough time, you decided to start an honest life. But Chayoung is afraid you are going to spill Babel's secret in the upcoming trial (No spoilers for "Vincenzo", hoping for a season two!!!)

’Tis the season to be jolly! But it doesn’t really stop there for many of us. If you study in the southern hemisphere, you knpw that December doesn’t mean solely fairy lights, hot cocoa and ice skating dates, it also means spending hours in your local cafe trying to make an Americano last six hours (honestly, why study in a silent library surrounded by stressed out students when you could be sitting in a warm coffee shop, stimulated by the barista’s never-ending jazz playlist and the flux of people coming and going?) and dodging questions such as “How are your preparations for the session going?”, or my favourite “Have you started reading the syllabus yet?”.

Honestly, depending on how you take things in life, December can be as fun as it can be depressing. I’m a Libra, and throughout my whole life I’ve learned that a bit of compromise goes a long way, and this is the month where I can really put my theories to the test. that’s why my first essential of the month is…

1. Advent Calendar

It might sound silly, but having a Christmas Advent not only is an excuse to treat yourself every day, as it also is a form of keeping track of your control over yourself. Sure, watching influencers open a christmas advent a day can be fun, the sadistic pleasure in finding out that the person who payed over €500 for a Chanel calendar is only getting a bunch of stickers and products which are barely worth being displayed in a duty free store is hard to beat, but stick with me on this one!

It’s easy to purposely forget to study, drink one too many festive cocktails, and let all the holiday discounts be a reason for you to splurge on things you wouldn’t otherwise have bought just as it’s easy to eat all the 24 chocolate truffles in one go… But not doing it is just as easy, and, I guess, a good reminder that balance is the best treat on the long run.

I genuinely HATE mini products, so I won’t be reccomending any beauty advents, sorry. I know it may feel too late to get your own, but it’s NEVER too late.

Maybe it’s the cold, maybe it’s the desire to procrastinate, BUT my will to watch movies skyrockets during this time of the year. There is a ridiculous amount of awful films sets in this time of the year, but if you look you can find some amazing classics that are just UNSKIPPABLE. Whether you want to go out or simply go all out even when you’re staying in is up to you, BUT a crucial thing to my is ending the year with a BANG. Now, I’m not exactly a clubber, but I’m a big enjoyer of fun wherever and whenever, and I can’t go more than a day without having fun with my friends this time of the year. This means random aperitivo nights after leaving six hour lectures, day trips to random cities, and lotsa dinner parties. I know I’ve probably exausted everyojne with lists, but I’m gonna write yet another one, hopefully short this time, of a few activities sprinkle through your weeks, hopefully to inspire some strenght and to end the year on a sweet note.

1. Moodboard night: With the New Year right around the corner, it’s crucial to set your goals straight… and what better way than doing it with friends? Look, I personally don’t think someone should set their vision board on stone, you don’t need to stick to the things you decided to do on a random night for the rest of the year, I personally end up taking a month to write down things to help me understand my own goals and objectives, both personal and professional/ academic… But it’s so nice to talk about all of your prospectives with your friends and loved ones, wonder about the potential that the new year can bring does no harm. If you really feel like this type of thing is too personal, then I’d say you could organize an “Unrealistic Wishlist” board day, when owning a Himalaya Hermes Kelly is a totally achiavable thing! Granted, I’m a tad materialistic, but I just adore learning more about my friends through their materialistic goals, with the right outlook it can be really revealing. Plus, I’m a huge fan of arts and crafts, and I’ll take any excuse I have to do it.

2. Charcuterie dinner: One of my biggest no-nos is showing up empty handed to any dinner, maybe it’s a Brazilian thing, but I’ve never done it and don’t plan on ever doing it. With a charcuterie dinner, I have an excuse to do it! I love charcuterie dinners more than anything in the world, cheese, wine, fruits and salami… no better combination. Not to mention that it’s practically like a live personality quiz for you and your friends, as nothing is more telling of a person’s character than their cheese preference.

3. Christmas shopping afternoon: Preferably to be done with a guy to use as your own bag carrier. Whenever I need to go somewhere or do something, I like to call other people up just in case, and although I love some peace of mind to think clearly when I need to buy presents for myself, when my consumerism is altruistic I love to have someone around to give me second opinions and spare my shoulders of all the extra weight!

4. Homemade decoration and dinner: I currently don’t have an apartment of my own to decorate, but other people’s serve me just as well. One of my favorite activities has been going to my friends’ homes to arrange garlands, make dried orange slices decor and even help to carefully distribute tinsel on the christmas tree. What is a chore to some is fun to others, with the right playlist and conversation specially. Afterwards it’s crucial to have a dinner party as a treat, no decoration shall be wasted!

To Discover

I feel like my consumerism is reaching an all time high right now, and I feel like I might as well share some of my current favourite discoveries with you guys. There’s nothing better than giving (and getting!) gifts from one of a kind stores, and so, I’ve made a little list of places that are definitely worth checking out:

1. Nesines: It’s a brand from barcelona that sells just the coolest shirts. I’ve just gotten one from them and I’m obsessed with the fit, the colors and the model. The quality is amaxzing, and I love that fact that their products have amazing compositions, no polyester around here! If you want a top that can elevate any pair of jeans, look nowhere else!

2. Maria de la Orden: I have to give credit where it’s due… this brand wasn’t on my radar before my mom showed it to me . Colorful velvet can definitely brighten up even the dullest winter days, especially when it’s presented in such unique shapes. Honestly their jackets are to die for, as are their headbands.

3. The obedient Daughter: came across this brand thanks to a kind destiny and now I’m absolutely OBSESSED with their curation of books and clothing. A gorgeous presentation of products that are unique but timeless… I simply NEED their Diana skirt.

4. MC2 Saint Barth: Okay not really a discovery, but THE place we should all be looking at for a perfect tongue in cheek aprés ski sweater. Ngl, I’m giving each of my siblings a sweater this christmas, and although I KNOW it might be an overdone gift, it’s a classic for a reason. And I myself know my sister would never not appreciate the opportunity to walk around Cervinia with a hot pink sweater that says “FAVOLOSA”

5. Bella Freud: Again, not a discovery, but worth a mention just because this was the month when I truly explored the brand’s full potential. Everyone knows their gorgeous sweaters with the best quotes (Godard IS GOD!), but I’m currently obsessed with their candles, ceramics and overall home accessories. Can someone please give me their Cunty mug? Please?)

To be worn

Sunglasses: I’m a guilty “occhiali da nebbia” wearer, much to my friends’ dismay. Though some may think it can be a bit bizzarre to wear sunglasses out on days when the sun doesn’t seem to get any high, I don’t have any shame in looking (or at least feeling) cool no matter the weather … My current go tos are the Dior Palladium (if you get it to wear in Venice it’s even better, that way, if anyone asks, you can say you’re paying your respects for Andre Palladio’s influential architecture)

Fur trimmed everything: Okay maybe i’ve been watching one too many episodes of friends, and letting the 90s influence a bit too much over my style, but recently I’ve been obsessed with fur trimmed coats. Long or short, black or camel, it doesn’t matter. I didn’t bite when everyone was going crazy over that green trench back in 2020, but now it’s different! A classic cut with a bit of fun fur will never go out of style in my eyes.

Barretes: Okay I think barretes are not an addition to my blog, I’ve probably been proudly posting about being a proud barrette wearer since 2020, but now I’ve actually been converted, and went from being a strictly tortoiseshell hair accessories wearer to a the brighter the better one. The one thing to blame is none other than the city of Copenhagen, where I discovered Maanesten and Pico, and FEASTED.

Herbag: Taking to “To Be” oof this section a bit too literally, and even a bit too hopefully. Not only do I absolutely love the fact that it reminds me a bit of the Kelly, I also love its overall practicality, everyone I know that has it rages on and on about its endless perks. While the fact that its body is made out of canvas rather than the famous traditional Hermes leather might be a turn off to some but to me it’s just perfect, principally because I’ve been planning on getting it to use it as a school bag and I’ve had the misfortune to have once tried to carry a leather bag around all day just to practically destroy it in one day.

Scarves and Pashminas: Winter is the season when I really can’t seem to escape all black outfits, but wearing a beautifully textured pashmina ALWAYS is a game changer for me. I feel like every city in the world has a Tibet store packed with the most varied options of material, print and density, I know Milan has an incredible one (although the Paris Tibet Forever on Le Marais will always take the cake).

Ashlyn (and I guess Sophia too) is so crass. The "finger me" ring, the name tags in Cannes, and all the sexual comments on instagram. Have some class, please!

Honestly, they are looking like two horny straight teenagers who just found out what sex is, and it’s funny as hell, cause it surpassed Tom Cruise's out of notion back in a day. The funniest to me is the ring, cause Ali wore a month or so the NWSL championship ring in that exactly hand and finger, just like Kelley did too when they showed off the ring. And for reals, This whole show they are pulling in social media in the past weeks is exausting, at least to me, particularly, I am not much fond of couples who are into too PDA, since it pretty much screams as "INSECURITY", I have stopped following Angelina Jolie when she was with Billy Bob Thorton cause of stuff like this, and if you need to pull that extra mile reinforce publicly, it means that deep down you feel something is not right, but again, that's just me, they are doing them, I have no saying in that.

Curiously, this whole tacky show also reminds me a lot something a friend of mine said years ago on a story about Brad Pitt's body guard writing a book and telling none of them or their A-List friends knew how to do simple stuff anymore, like groceries for example: "you can't trust in famous person having common sense, cause they have a different view of what a common sense is, since they lost contact with reality." This is what happened right now. Like I am not saying they should hide and all, just saying what's the point of taking pictures making out in public or showing that tacky ring if it isn't to show off? This kind of thing is annoying, at most, cause it doesnt looks like "look, we are happy" it screams "look at me, pay attention to me, I need your attention" and acting like this online throws her whole activism platform in the trash can, cause it makes her looks childish and futile.

Twelve

I know, I know, I know, I suck so bad. It’s been daysssss! I’ve just been in such a bad funk. The day after my last entry where I had all the apiffanies about burnout and steroid withdrawls I had a complete meltdown. I cried all day long. Haha! And I am not a cryer, at all. I do not cry. I would rather pull my fingernails off than cry. So, forgive me, I’ve had a rough few weeks! I even listened to the next two chapters the other day and then couldn’t bring myself to come here and write about what I’d listened to. Now I’m not sure I even remember! So today, now that I feel like myself again, is going to be one of those days where I write more about my crazy crazy life and less about where I am in my bible reading journy. But, I’m not going to skip over that completely, so lets start there.

If I do remember correctly, I listened to Genesis 34-35.

- Then we go through one fo those chapters with a ton of names. We are told all the names of Esau’s wives and concubines and children.

Other news from this week, my Rumotologist’s office called me to tell me that my x-rays look fine. My bloodwork doesn’t show anything other than elevated inflamation markers and they think the next step is physial therarpy because my insurance likely will not cover an MRI. So, no diagnosis, no treatment and physical thearpy for chronic swelling, sore muscles, stiff joints and extream extream exasustion.

I wanted to sit down and cry and cry. I think I feel more lost than I did in January. I ended up calling the nurse back and asking her if that means, a) we are not keeping the RA diagnosis that my original primary gave me, b) how in the actual hell did the bone doctor (when I hurt my knee) see and tell me that I have arthurtius in both knees but they didn’t see that, and c) If I am on heavy antiinflamatory drugs and the double steroid shot has knocked out the inflamation what could they see?

She said, no to the RA because the elevated inflimation markers could mean a lot of things but we wont know more untl we can get an MRI (which apparntly we may not be doing), they did “almost” full body xrays but not my knees, and that there should still be markers visiable on the MRI.

I am grateful that the swelling and pain has not returned since the double steroid shot. I am frustrated that the wait list for the rumo was so long and I did not get in when I was actually inflamed. I feel defeated and exausted and competly ignored. I feel like they do not believe me. I feel like I am back to square one, back to January. Also, when the shots wore off (which kocked out the semiglutied by the way and I gained five pounds back) the knee pain- although a little less and plainters fiasiits- which is still just as bad, returned. My dog opened my bathroom door and ate my planters fiasiits shoes and Amazon is out of stock. I am happy to report that I am back to my pre steroid weight as well.

I have a friend (the same one who told me about simaglutide) who it turns out has a small tumor on her parathyroid gland, causing super elevated calcium levels and Hyperparathyroidism. As if all of this was not crazy enough, I went mini and me with my toddler last night and when we sat on the floor to do the bye- bye song I realized that for the first time since at least last year, my range of motion is back. And what I mean by this is that with the pain and swelling I have not been able to sit “criss cross” or “butterfly” on the floor. I would have to just sit with my legs out in front of me. Last night I sat criss cross! It was mind blowing! And then this morning when I woke up I didn’t feel like I was in a fog. The only way I can describe how bad my chronic exaustion/brain fog is is that it feels like someone has hit me in the head with a hammer and I am trying to not lose concsisousness. All. The. Time. This morning I work up and I feel like what I think a regular tired mom feels like. Then years ago I used to be described as “bubbly” but that girl died a long time ago, or I thought she had. Today I wonder if she is still in there. This makes me want to know what is going on with me even more because I never want this to go away!

Amphibia Season 1 Reviews!: Anne Or Beast?/Best Fronds: Spriganne Begins (Patreon Stretch Goal)

Hello all you happy people! So if you’ll endulge me, it’s time for a bit of a story: Back in 2020, I started covering animation on this blog with some simple reviews of Ducktales Season 3 that quickly snowballed into a career with three patrons, a regular schedule and a much more fufilled me. And since covering Ducktales regularly got me going and was a runaway success, I decided to cover another Disney show as it came out that i’d happily binged the previous year while watching my youngest nephew: Amphibia. So I covered ALL of season 2 as it came out (still need to put that in one post), and have worked my way through season 3. While regular coverage CAN be exausting I do love the conversations it leads to, how many of you found this blog through it and just getting to cover a whole show.

But as a result of starting in the middle of the show, and having not started this blog when season one aired in one large mishapen pile, that leaves season 1 as a large gap. So I put it up as a patreon stretch goal figuring it wouldn’t take long for just ONE more person to join, as my goals are on a per person basis: everytime someone joins, a new project is added to the to do list and I get to it as soon as possible. Long story short.. took about a year. Still better late than never as i’m finally jumping into the first season of Amphibia. Owl House season 1, just like this , once a month, come rain, shine or swamp snake. To sweeten the pot i’ll also review that spider-man two parter where a homeless doctor octopus was haunted by hammerhead’s atomic ghost. I’m not making any of that up.

So now here we are, back at the starting line with the finish line looming in the distance. It is fun to go back, and not the first time I have either as I helped @jess-the-vampire binge the show months ago. But it’s a great time to go back: see what’s changed, reflect on how far everyone’s come etc. I won’t be doing JUST one episode a month, i’ll be doubling up after this, but you’ll still get the same amount of content, wit and shenanigans from me.

For now though we’re back at the start and it’s a weird sort of whiplash. By season 3 the show is gearing up for it’s end, with the arcs having a very crisp pace and a nice ballance between character based slice of life eps and plot advancement.

Season 1 though? While it’s not bad by any means the larger arc is on the back burner: The Calamity Box is only adressed in three episodes, and the arc involving Toad Tower only factors into about 4 episodes. There’s a strong continuity, including a smaller arc about Hop Pop loosing the stand, as always, but it’s really more about the journey than the destination. Season 1 is more about Anne’s growth as a person and slow acceptance by the town as she adapts to this brave new world, than it is about the larger picture. And honestly whie it could be mildly frustrating when watching season 1 as it came out, even if season 1 again came out in one big ole pile, in hindsight.. it works. Anne’s growth as a person is VITAL to the show as it goes as is the town’s utter love and loyalty to her that’s carefully grown over the season. Seeing her go from selfish, reckless lazy teen to a mildly responsible town protector is wonderful to see and nicely contrasts how Sasha outright refuses to change for most of the series and Marcy SEEMINGLY has changed.. but at her core is still the same person. It also provides a lot of the thrust for Season 3 as seeing how much Amphibia changed her for the better helps her parents accept the whole experince faster. So while Season 1 dosent, for the most part, reach the highs of it’s followups, it’s got tons of charm, character, and worldbuilding to make up for it so let’s hop right to it under the cut!

Anne or Beast? Our series begins in Wartood as we quickly get a sense of things: populated by frogs, swampy townscape, rural area. All neat stuff that’s set up by visual alone. We also meet our boy Wally who wonders home from Stumpy’s, a nice bit of establishing the place now for when it has an ep later in the season.. and finds a hideous creature in the darkness! Another nice touch I really like I didn’t notice the first two times I watched this one: the fact Anne is absent for the first act. By doing this we’re put in the frog’s perspective and thus eased into the world more gently than anne, getting a sense of the kind of place wartwood is, what amphibia is like and why they’d be so afraid of her

And the answers are just as cleverly laid out the next day: we see a bustling small close knit town that’s charming and clearly still at most fantasy rpg levels of technlogy, but happy and close knit. And we also see a guy casually taken away from his wife or girlfriend by a bug, highlighting this world is dangerous as hell, anything can and will kill you so of course they’d be suspcious of a human. To us we’re just another monster and the town reaction to Wally’s story is to form up a mob. It’s not RIGHT they treat Anne like this, but it’s understandable given how isolated they are and how everything ELSE that’s out in the unknown of the forests and swamps tries to muder them on a daily basis.

We also meet the rest of the main cast.. and an adorable slug we never see again.

Yeah for some reason despite Bessie being established as a long time part of the family and their only snail not long after this, we have this slug they changed their mind abouts. I call him jeremy

No not you Jeremy, my hellish source of entertainment. He gets shockingly good bandwith on streaming i’ll tell you. My best guess canon wise is Bessie was sick and one of the neighbors let them borrow their slug. I’m going with Chuck. He grows tulips.

Anyways we get a good sense of the Plantars from the get go: Hop Pop is strict , protective and responsible, Sprig is a little scamp, and Polly is agressive especially for a baby. Hop Pop also dosen’t find Sprig responsible after a string of incidents that not only set up the worlds danger even more but SPrig’s impulsivness. The punchilne is also great “So yesterday was a bad day”.

Sprig decides to prove he’s responsible by hunting the monster himself and bribes Polly with candy to keep her tiny mouth shut (”Bribe accepted!”). He goes out into the woods, finds himself caught in a snare and meets the most fearsome creature of all: A Teen-Ager!

And so we’re finally properly introduced to Anne, who just wants Sprig to leave her alone and wasn’t trying to eat Wally so much as get some help. She plans to just leave the child dangling in the woods, but an oncoming giant mantis gets her to change her mind kid and she saves him, leading to one of my faviorite lines of the ep. Seriously as always for the show the jokes are on point “Your a hero, an ugly ugly ugly hero!” this also shows Sprig ALWAYS lacked Tact, he’s just gotten worse with time. Then better: So far he hasn’t brought up any underlying emotoinal issues casually and made everything worse. So far.

Anyways the two then Bond, with Anne explaning she’s trapped in a world she never made, she has no idea how to get home or where she is and she’s been living in this cave. So that’s pretty neat. Sprig offers to get her something to eat after she turns down bugs, which creates a nice runner: Anne absolutely refuses to eat them at first and is horrified when she does, but slowly grows to like them the longer she’s there. It’s really neat.

The Angry Mob heads to get her, with hop Pop and polly tagging along and once they catch Anne she thinks Sprig set her up. But this misunderstanding gets cleared like most too: by an even bigger mantis showing up and trying ot eat her. Sprig saves her, a friendship is properly forged and the two fight the mantis off together using the ropes anne was bound with.

Mayor Toadstool decides to get rid of Anne anyway because safety. Honestly it’s shit like this why all the frog mutants packed up and left for an island I tell ya. Damn shame that giant tortise ate it in this timeline. Damn shame. Anyways Sprig stands up for Anne and while that dosen’t move him because when has an honest heartflet plea ever moved the cold mechanical heart of a politican, Hop Pop taking responsiblity for her does. He also expresses pride in his grand son for doing the right thing.

Anne is greatful but understandbly plans to ease on down the road since you know, trapped in another world. But conviently for the plot Anne can’t leave the Valley for 2 months, as it’s blocked and has to just roll with it, though HOp Pop kindly offers her home and the basement and Sprig sweetly offers his plushies and kind words, forging a friendship that crosses dimensonal barriers and some emotional boundry lines. Once alone Anne tries simply opening the box in private.. but it dosen’t work. As we know now it needs a fresh charge. But she promises to find her friends and a way home.

Anne Or Beast? is a stellar start to the series setting up the tone , the plot and the main cast beautifully. It’s truly great stuff and shows why the series got a fanbase so quick. WHile Disney has a lot of issues as a company.. a lot a lot.. like way more than they resonably should, they know how to make a first episode truly spectacular.

Best Fronds:

So first up is some backstory: We see Anne stealing the music box and being peer pressured into it, but neatly we don’t get a sense of who Sasha and Marcy are just yet, instead just getting the short version so we see them open it and wind up here. Anne thinks it was all just a dream only to find out nope, she really is stuck with a bunch of frogs in a death world for two months. Sprig is jealous, Polly wants to kill her before she can eat them, and Hop Pop is worried she sprays acid. Which to be fair when encountering a creture I dont’ know tha’ts my go too. Anne confirms she’s not going to eat a creature that clearly dosen’t bathe (Hop Pop: Fair point) I’d also like to point out some early bumps in the voice acting from these eps: Brenda dosen’t quite pitch her voice up as much in the first ep to sound younger like she does later and Justin is still sorting out his delivery. Though the real noticable ones are Bill and Amanda: Hop Pop sounds MUCH older and croakier, heh, and Polly sounds more nasly. Both things wouldn’t LEAVE, old man and baby respectively, but they’d be more ballanced as the show went on, with hop pop sounding more like a person and polly sounding less like she’s showing the first signs of having been bit by a were urkel.

Anne is bummed though missing her friends, so Sprig offers to be her friend and while most of the things she lists just have him go

With his face, the mention of a beach has him decide to take her to the lake. Hop Pop vetos this as he wants them safe and her to ease into the town.. despite the flaw in that that if the town dosen’t see her often they won’t get used to her. Anne simply opts to steal the key rather than try some of hop pop’s plot convience peppers like Sprig does. Thankfully turns out Hop Pop sleeps with both eyes open and as much as a regular old man: 86 years, often while yelling at a cloud or writing about hearing the word bra on tv.

So our heroes go out, though Sprig notices a forboding sign of doom and wants to bounce. We then get our first taste that Anne’s friendships.. are not healthy, though this mostly sounds like Sasha. One weird quirk of season one is I ge tthe feelign they didn’t know QUITE what they were doing with marcy, so most of the bad elements in Anne’s relationship clearly come from Sasha in hindsight, but are directed at both. It’s weird. Anyways Sprig leaves but comes back , the two have a fun montage. But then a dripping wet giant snake rams itself into their day

Our heroes try not to get eaten by the snake, I try not to have to use the Goodnight Everybody gag twice, and Anne apologizes, realizing she was selfish. It’s a nice bit of character shwoing sh’es starting ot realize Sasha really is a terrible role model.. she just hasn’t realized Sasha herslef is terrible. Which agian comes off weird given Marcy ISN’T expotiative or anything, but whatever. Sprig nearly dies but uses the peppers to queel the girthy thing, our heroes head home and succesfully duck hop pop and confirm their bond and Polly is bummed she dosen’t get to put anne in a chokehold for trying to eat them. I mean she coudln’t with those arms but let her dream. Let. Her. Dream.

But we get another Sprig of plot, sans the actual sprig as we meet grime being all intimdating as he found anne’s shoe and knows Sasha was lying about others, confriming to us that Anne wasn’t the only one stranded here. I also find this endlessly hilarous now he’s basically her dad and now I have images like this

Of who I rightfully assumed was going to be the big bad of the entire series. Time makes fools of us all.

Next Month: A two fer as we go striaght from a menacing teaser of what’s to come to sitcom hyjinks: Anne breaks a cane, we get your standard feud episode, Sprig gets sold into marriage and Anne and Hop Pop trip balls together like any good grandaughter and grandpa. See ya real soon.

Another personal post today bc i feel like i just.. am better able to think when i know someone's listening.

Remember blog culture?? I'm channeling That right now 😂😂

It's occured to me lately all the ways on which my adhd really has inhibited my ability to draw, and i just wanted to write it all out in a bulletpoint format and go through them to see if i can't find a solution to some of them.

Boredom - i get bored doing the same thing for too long and will rarely finish something if it takes me more than a week to finish.

Computer runs on 4GB - My computer is, sadly, shit. Which means a lot if waiting and hassling to save files on external hard drives.

External validation - not unique to adhd but i've been told we react much more strongly to other people's opinions of us, which sounds about right. So if i don't feel other people enjoy what i make, or even one person doesn't, whose opinion i value, i lose motivation.

Going outside - drawing from life is something i enjoy but it's very hard for me to do, which has led to me feeling very stuck in a single mindset for a very long time even though i would like to get inspiration from other sources. The insp bank is just very empty.

Starting and stopping - it's just such a hassle to navigate hyperfocus. To an extent i know how to trigger it, work with it, make the most of it, etc. But it still just takes a Lot of energy to manage.

Back pain - having a hard time exercising and stretching regularly has made it so my back pain is stopping me from drawing even if i want to.

Too tired all the time - everything is much more exausting when u have adhd so even if i wanted to work on åersonal projects or whatever, the physical and emotional toll is just too high.

Probably not an exaustice list lbr but at leadt i have it.

So a few things are more existential in nature like: "what do i want to spend my limited time on this earth making?" "Why do i feel like what i am doing is not enough?" Etc. Etc. And probably can't be solved in one sitting.

A couple things can rly be aided by a better settup though so once i move in i'm going to need to start thinking about a better settup:

A better computer with a RAM that doesn't actively want me dead.

(And good screen placement to go w that, so im not actively murdering my neck).

(And a new tablet that's not 10yrs old and a safety hazard).

Established places for all my tools so i can work with minimal effort.

Smaller usb sticks labeled by year would be nice. Computer folders drive me mad.

An inspiration board (and planning board) would be nice. Being able to visually see all my projects in action at all times. Worth a try honestly.

Moving in and settling down will aid on a few fronts:

Generally not being constantly worried about moving in to a new appartment will be swell. Love that for future me.

Exercise will happen more regularly once i move in and am not constantly stressed. Also i'll live rly close to a gym so.. fingers crossed that solves That problem.

Going back to work will help with that.

Fingers crossed ill have energy for parkour again soon🤞🤞🤞

Genuinely no solution for the Too Tired problem. I'll likely just have to let myself rest once in a while even if it means giving up on exercise and drawing for a week or more at a time. Which is probably healthy lbr.

Which.. that leaves the three biggest issues (shocker).

Going outside would help with boredom but going outside is hard.

I think i'll have to invest in some better outdoorsy bags. Like those rly cool leather hip pouches. Those would be great. Just.. a way to easily carry equipment qith me so i can just draw when i feel like it and don't have to dig around a bag just find a pencil.

Like this lol. Big enough to fit an a5 sketch book bc that's my preffered size snd like.. one water colour set and a pen. Imagine that. I think that would be Swell. I don't need a bunch. Just enough that i can carry the essentials anywhere i go.

The dream.

Another reason to marry a leather worker.

And honestly like.. i think taking a break from fanart and social media and just going outside to draw and see the world.

I think that's what i need rn.

Then there's the issue of external validation, which isn't anyone's fault, it just kinda Is.

I figure quitting social media can help with that too. Sorry to say.

The rest is probably just processing what i want to do and stuff. Ya kno. The existential bits.

Hello!!🍄🍂

Something that has been on my mind, well this could go anywhere. Let me think. Lately the main thought in my head has been the exam session that is waiting for me at the end of the month. I am pretty anxious about it, and I cannot wait for it to be over.

A good and positive thing that has been in my mind recently is that I managed to get back my passion for tv shows (and movies). That was on of my biggest hobbies during my teenage years, and it's always been a safe place, if you know what I mean. I didn't have a great time in high school, and tv shows were the perfect way to get my brain into another world without exausting me. This was all fun and games, since, I believe, a couple of years ago, when I started to have a block. I wouldn't start new show, or continued with the ones I used to like. I missed the way that hobby made me feel, but something stopped me from doing it and enjoying it. Then only the gods know what happened, but around this September more or less, I got the spark back. Since then I finally watched Good Omens (which I adored, as a fan of the book). I finally got around watching Poldark, after having it on my to-watch list for ages, I started a re-watch of Gravity Falls. I am living my best life with my beloved hobby back.

And I take this opportunity to ask for raccomendations, of of both shows and movies, tell me about your favourites, what you have been watching lately, anything.

I will stop ranting now, thank you for the ask, it was really fun to put into actual words something that was going around my head for a while, and I love the chance to talk about and share something that is not only revolving around studying, and books! So thank you! I hope you'll have a lovely day!!💛🍂

i mean, if he found out certain things about me that would be warrented- but i can't with the boundary crossing

Ok, im not feeling well but have some angsty *curls up in a ball while laying in the floor of my hide out*

"Don't make me lose my time with this. Go bother someone else. I have better things to get done."

Usually you would understand his reasons or even just smile at him in understatement.

But not today... all you wanted was just that Kai stoped just a little with his work to relax and just enjoy the little time you had of you guys anniversary, but he didn't even let you finish your question as he answered you harshly with that.

"Is it too much to ask for that you relax a bit? Just look at you, you're tense." You try to reason it.

He merely lifted an annoyed glance at you, cold and harsh just like his words.

"You're only worsening my case of health them if you keep prying like that."

That hurted. And even if you wanted to scream at that one, you still remained your compusture for his sake, and not to yell.

But this didn't mean that you would let it go...

"I only wanted to help Chisaki." You said between teeth, clenching your jaw even more at feeling the burn in your eyes "And also do you even remember what day i-"

"Just shut up." He threw his pen at his table with a growl while massaging his temples "Honestly, stop acting like a child and accept this for once, I am not going to comply to your stupid wishes." He said harshly, his words hurting more than he expected.

You felt a tear of yours falling from your eye as you breath in and out.

"You forgot what day it is today or something?" You asked, being completely ignored as he returned to writing "Kai. Please just liste-"

"Get out." He muttered darkly, making you wince but subsconciously mutter a question back at him.

"What..?"

"I said-" he lifted himself from his chair quite abruptly and pointed at the exit of his office " Get. Out. GET OUT OF HERE."

You stared at him in disbelief and sadness before breathing in again and nodding with a 'okay' before stopping by the doorframe.

"For your information, if it even its from your interest Overhaul." You grabbed the handle of the door before looking at him blurry due to your tears almost blinding your sign "Today was when we first met some years ago! And SOMETIMES PEOPLE JUST WORRY TOO MUCH ABOUT YOU! SO IM SORRY FOR BEING SUCH A PEST FOR WORRYINGOVER THE PERSON I LOVE DESPITE HIM DON'T GIVING A DAMN ABOUT IT!" You slammed the door before running out of the house, rubning furiously your eyes.

Stupid emotionless jerk! Why did you have to always be the smiling one anyway?!

He dropped his pen at hearing your last words and the furious 'slam' of the door before sighing in both annoyance and irritation...

Not at you.

Couldn't you just wait for a while? He was having a bad day already that all of his plans of making this day special had failed, more work was putted at his desk, and he just had to deal again with rappa wanting to 'defeat him', so he ended up fucking this day even more...

When he finished this he would apologize but for now he just couldn't... he had to calm down at least and let you cool your head as well.

You angrily walked past through the crowd of people as you sniffed and wiped your tears...

You glanced at some couples at the street, cringing at their touching and smilling lovely faces...

You sighed as you continue walking, while glancing behind you to comfirm that neither one of his precepts or even Chrono had spotted you lefting the base.

You just needed to be alone...

"My, my. Looks like I won the lottery." A man smirked down at your person while you merely stoped in front if him, preventing any possible bumping.

Ah no.

"Excuse me, but i am really not in the mood for talking." You said bitterly before trying to walk past him, but he suddenly grabbed your wrist and pushed you to a alley.

"Hey-! Let go of me!"

"Shut your fucking mouth little Overhaul's playtoy." The man growled with a sadistic smile while other two appeared right besides him.

You widened your eyes in horror, already understanding what this was about... this is what happened when you were too close with the members of the yakusa if you didn't were carefull...

Shit, that what was why Kai was so paranoid in the first place.

"Whatcha guys think? How much would that Overjerk pay to have this little thing back?" He smirked at both of his laughing partners.

Before you could even answer or understand what was going to happen you felt a sharp pain at the base of your neck before blacking out, the last thing you heard were those man laughter...

"Chrono? Have you seen (Y/N)?" Chisaki asked, hidding his worry before that stoic face of his.

He looked around the house for you for a bout a hour already, and no signs of your angelic persona...

"Not all day Overhaul. I'm sorry." Chisaki scoffed before he picked his cellphone and his worry and annoyance only grew even more at seing that you had no signs of it.

He tried calling for your number and lifted his eyebrows in sad shock that you had left your cellphone on the room.

"Mind me asking what happened boss?" Chrono asked, in pure sympathy and worry for his childhood friend.

"I had a fight with her. Nothing big about it."

"Right." Chrono said sarcastically.

He knew Chisaki for years already, and could see the pain and dare he say some soreness and regret in Kai's eyes. It was a rare sign, but it happened.

After all, you were truly special to him, anyone in the base could tell that, but only the ones who knew Chisaki could see how infatued and passionate he was with you.

"Overhaul?" Mimic's voice ringed, breaking both men's thoughts as Chisaki coldly stared at the man down, offering him the phone.

"There's this dude on the line wanting to talk about bussines with you."

"Say to them I'm busy." he growled in response as he tried again to think where would you have gotten.

Mimic spoked back before widening his eyes and looking at his boss with a certain uneasiness.

"Uh. Overhaul its REALLY important this one." Mimic said offering the phone again.

Chisaki lifted one of his eyebrows befkre sighing in annoyance and harshly grabbing the phone.

You gasped for breath the koment your head was oushed back out of the water. Coughing hysterically before finally gaining back the precious air in your lungs again.

The man laughed while holding his phone before looking at you for a moment, you not even noticing that he had aproached.

"Say sweetcheeks. How much will that leader would pay to have you back huh? Millions? Billions?"

You looked at him in rage and disgusted thorigh your blurry vision, thinking thorugh a moment.

He couldn't know that you were special for Kai, so you had to play a game for him to at least ease down his plan or even just to peace the yakusa for at least.

You pretended to laugh bitterly, not noticing due to your exaustation the phone close to your mouth.

"You're expecting way too much. Him? Overhaul care for me? He wouldn't even slare a single yen at me. Trust me. I'm just to show..." the guy didn't seemed pleased T your answer befkre he brought his phone close to his ear before comanding to take you out of there and chain you up.

"Have fun with her." He sadistically laughed and you merely gave out, feeling you being dragged to the wall...

"You're expecting way too much. Him? Overhaul care for me? He wouldn't even slare a single yen at me. Trust me. I'm just to show..."

He gripped at his shirt, just where his heart was... cringing in disgust at himself.

Did you really felt that way? Did you really thought that he cared so little for you?

"So that's what the chick said. But my mans here are going to have a bit of fun until you decides how kuch you're willing to pay us to have her back, or we can have her all to ourselves and we won't ever bother ya Overhaul."

He gripped his cellphone in a deadly grip before growling animalistic.

"Count. The fucking. Seconds." He threw it the ohone at the wall, making Chrono and Mimic to widen his eyes before wincing at the shout he gave them to follow him.

"I want all the eight precepts of death. On that damn place. No one will be spared on this genocide, but the responsible one is mine. Got it?"

"Yes master."

You cried out in pain at feeling both a burning cigarette in your upper warm while the painful cut down your jaw.

"I will give you one more chance miss. What are Overhaul's possesions and plans with the other minor gangs?"

You cried before looking at him and shouted with both anger and frustation.

"I already said I don't know! He doesn't let me know of those things!"

The worst part of this it was that half of it was true. But the little you know you wouldn't te anyway.

The guy tsked, aproaching at you, hanging from the wall by those chains, grabbing on your chin and lifting it up to meet his disgusting face.

"Such a pretty creature like ya shouldn't be in the hands of such a mobster ya know? Why won't you just-" he aproached his face closer to you before you spited on him, receiving a kick on your gut as a punishment.

The guy wiped it off with a maniac laugh and looked at you smilling sadistically.

"I like you. A feisty one." He aproached at you before lifting his hand, ready to slap it.

"But I guess you need some leasons to quiet do-" he suddenly stopped at hearing the wall falling and a bunvh of his subordinates screams.

You oppened one of your eyes weakly and mentally thanked the heavens at seing the sign in front of you.

The eight precepts of death... Kai must have sended them...

Suddenly your chains were cutted at you fell miserably on the ground, face planted on the old floor as you tried to get up to see what was going on.

You felt a hand checking your pulse before you heard Kurono's voice shouting that you were still alive.

You couldn't even answer Hari's or even Mimic's question at the time, all the energy you had, you used to lift your head and to focus on the sign in front of you.

Your boyfriend had aproached the man and punched from behind, making the guy fall in the ground... but he didn't stop on there. He continue kicking and lunching while screaming animalistic at the now unrecognizable face of your captor... broken nose and blood spilled on it.

Chisaki stopped suddenly, only to grab the man by the hem of his shirt and lift him up tl the air, extending his other bare hand before overhauling the guy only to out it back to do repeat his actions.

Before you knew it, you had used the remains of your strength to lift yourself up weakly... not catching what neither of the man around you were saying...

"..K... Ka..." you weekly whislered before managing to take one or two shaky steps...

You had lost a lot of blood... and you were all beaten up already... but you had to get to him...

When Kai overhauled the guy for the fifth time he noticed your shaky figurine aproaching him... his wide golden eyes meeting your weak yet beautiful (E/C) ones...

You smiled at him before muttering your last words before giving in your exaustation.

"You came for me..."

His shouts for your name and the feeling of his warm arms enveloping your frame,preventing you to fall, were the last thing you could cat h it for that day...

"M-Master Overhaul, She's in a very critical state, I wouldn't recommend you to use your quirk... at least not yet, just wait until she regains her conciousness and some of the blood... but I don't think that it will... w-well, be soon..."

He nodded numbly, eyes still focused on your figurine on the bed... all patch it up.

"Dismissed." He ordered bitterly. The koment the old man left the room he took a seat close to your bed and took your hand on his.

"...angel. Those sick people are going to pay. I promise... but... even if you only come back to despise me, to shout at me... please do it... just come back..." he felt the disgusting warm liquid slide from his eyes and fall into your hand.

"I-I can't... don't go now... angel, please..." he shakily lowered his head while bringing your much smaller hand betwen his glived ones up.

"Please don't leave me in the dark.... you're the only reason why I see light in this miserable life of mine... just..." he sobbed while gripling into your hand tighter "Come back...please just come back..."

You groggily opened your eyes, trying to focus your sign to at least have a understatement of where you were at the moment.

First you felt the comforting sheets beneath your palm... the fluffiness of the pillow you were laying on... the feeling of something sticking through your skin and veins... then finally noticing the machine monitoring your heartbeat with the constant beep and the half bag of blood hanging above you.

Ah.. now you remembered...

You winced when you tried to move, with a lot of force you manage to at least lay your back on the matress and stare at the window at your side.

It was a... rather beautiful day outside....

You took another look in the room and immediately relaxed at noticing it was one of the yakuza's house rooms you were in...

You heard the muffled voices of both Pops and Chrono soeaking aling with some steps.

"Kai please my boy, you haven't eaten nothing for at least three days straight. Only getting out of that room to shower."

"I can look at them while you take a break Chisa-" both voices suddenly stopped... you guessed it was because Kai had sended them a glare.

You smiled weakly yet worriedly... how long did you slept?

"We will bring something for you later then. Come Kurono." The elder spoked before you heard the sigh of your boyfriend before creaking the door open.

... dear god...

He looked... horrible. Bags under his eyes... he surely had losted more weight and to complete that tired... defeated, depressed look on his eyes.

He was constantly looking at the ground, still not noticing you were awake still.

He closed the door before locking it, hitting his forehead shortly after with a sigh.

"K... Kai?" You manage to croak out, making him jump before he abruptly turned his chest to you.

His eyes were wide open as he stared at you... disbelief clearly on his face.

You weakly giggled before forcing out a few more words.

"H-How long did I-" befire you could even finish your sentence Chisaki just walked to you and beought you to a crushing hug, yet still carefull with the neddles.

He breath in your scent before shakily sighing, it was not only fine woth him because he was always monitoring your cleaning abits while unconscious, but the kist important of all.

You were there. You were here. Breathing. Talking.

"K-Kai?"

"My angel..." he sighed in relief, still not believing that he was crying tears of joy "For a second I thought that... that I had..."

"No... I am going to be a pain in your ass forever." You giggled at your own joke but immediately stopped at seing the... defeated and hurted look of your boyfriend.

He grabbed your fa e between his gloved ones before nuzzling his covered nkse in your head.

"I am such a fool... I heard all of what you thought I think of you... angel Im so sorry, I should never had let out my frustations on you, I did know what day was I swear on my soul but I just had to finish those things before I could even-"

"Kai, its okay." He looked at you in disbelied but still broke st that sweet smile of yours.

"I was pretending... I know how much you care love, you never fail to make me see that..."

He shook his head abruptly before he grabbed your hand harshly and aimed at his own head.

"No. You can't just forgive me that easy. Please angel, I hurt you, I was the responsible for this. Just hit me with all you've got... I deserve worst..."

You went to deny but he just keep pressing your palm against his covered cheek over and over again.

"Do it. Its a order." He growled before he let go of your hand and closed his eyes, already expecting.

You simply stared at it... before you sighed and simply pressed gently your palm against his cheek and carresed your thumb gently his cheek.

He widened his eyes while furrowing his eyebrows, looking at you as you trailed your hand up to his hair.

"Why should I..?" You smiled sweetly at him, nlt stoping your gsntle actions.

"Stop this..." he said shakily, gripping the bedsheets and onto his leg. "Stop acting like none of that happened. I am the responsible for this." He growled while finally managing to look at your eyes.

"Stop being so kind goddammit... not with me... not with me out of all people in this sick planet..."

"... why should I stop?" You trailed your hand down his jaw again, catching the hate towards himself on his eyes.

"I just sayed it. Don't play dumb with me..."

"I'm not..." you sayed softly.

"Stop." He said shakily, not flinching away from your hand since he was craving it for two three days already.

"I love you... thank you for coming back to rescue me."

"Stop this dammit!" He said sternly before rubbing one of his eyes intensely "I can't understand you... I can't."

He rested his head in your shoulder while you smiled at his action, despite the sadness, and hugged hin tight ignoring the pain.

"Don't be so kind-! Dammit... I can't understand you (Y/n)... why this had to hurts so much...?" He got up to craddle your face between his hand after he took his mask off and stared deel at your soul.

"Why? After all I've done?"

"... I love you. Simple as that."

He breath in shakily before crashing his lips in yours, not even thinking straigjt, just wanting to feel you against him...

"Angel... my angel I swear on my soul that I love you so much more." He said between kisses, he trailed from your mouth to your cheeks, nose, chin and for last your forehead...

You smiled in pure joy... despite the pain..

The devil smiled teary back before returning his actions... after all, he almost losed his angel,.. so he was going to show, despite feeling slightly embarrassed and uncomfortable at first, his precious little piece of heaven how important she was to him.

"W-Wait don't you have to wor-" he muffled your words with a deep kiss before murmuring in your cheek lowly before returning his assault to your lips.

"Screw work."
