“Are you sure you want to do this?”

You didn’t think you’d end up in an interrogation room at the police station, but it was your last option. At first you were doing simple photoshoots, but it seemed you had some natural talent. Before you knew it you got to meet the CEO of the company, Lee Sangyeon. He was grateful to have someone like you in his company, and wanted to do right by you. So he gave you your own team to help you with the job. All of a sudden you had your own manager, Haknyeon, along with a personal stylist, Chanhee, and a bodyguard, Kevin. You honestly thought maybe it was a bit too much, but Sangyeon insisted on it. He took very good care of those in his company. You’d certainly need the team once you were taking on bigger projects.

“I think it’s time for you to get your haircut.” Chanhee suggested. “What do you think? Try something new.”

“When do you think we can schedule one, Haknyeon?”

“I’ll double check, but I think there’s some time tomorrow.”

There was a knock at the door and Kevin got up from the couch. The door was kept locked just for security purposes, and when someone came by it was Kevin who had to open the door and check. It wasn’t that surprising so see Jacob, he was the VP of the company and did a lot more social interactions with the models than Sangyeon.

“Hi, Jacob.” You greeted with a light bow. “What brings you by?”

“I just wanted to check in on one of our greatest models.”

“You’re too kind, Jacob.”

“I got to see the images from your last shoot, you’re doing great. So I thought to come by and give you something.”

You certainly needed the energy boost with all the work you were taking on. One might think being a model isn’t that difficult, but it had its own challenges. You were glad you weren’t in this alone, and had people in your own corner at all times. Although sometimes your memories seemed to blur together a bit. The back to back shoots and training would really get to you and you found yourself losing track of time. It never really worried you though as you knew you were just getting super focused on your work, and you had your team keeping an eye on you.

“I need to get somethings for you.” Chanhee said. “I’ll be right back.”

You were nervous to be alone, not really knowing how to join any of the conversations around you. Although after a moment the model next to you leaned over, whispering in a low voice. You couldn’t hear her well so you moved in closer.

“Do you have any of your vitamin pills on you?”

While you were lost in thought Haknyeon came to get you, taking you over to the dressing room. You sat down before the mirror, Chanhee getting to work. You didn’t say anything, just casually looking around the room. Kevin was sitting by the door as usual, and Haknyeon was on the phone with someone. Everything seemed normal, as it usually was, but there was this uneasiness in your chest.

“Are you okay, y/n?” Chanhee asked. “Nervous? This isn’t something new.”

“Yeah, just… I don’t know, but I’m fine.”

“You’ll be okay to do the shoot, right?” Haknyeon asked. “If you’re not up for it we can cancel.”

“No, no, I’m okay.”

“She probably just needs her vitamins.” Kevin mentioned, getting up to get the pill bottle from your bag. “Here. That’ll make you feel better.”

“Uh…”

“Good point.” Chanhee took the bottle and got a pill, holding it up to you with a glass of water. “Go on.”

You were scared to take the pill, but you couldn’t exactly back out now. You gave Chanhee a smile and swallowed down your supposed vitamin with some water, trying not to freak out. You didn’t feel any different, but you knew any sort of effect wasn’t spontaneous. When Chanhee was done with you one of the assistants came to get you. As you stood before the camera you started to feel a bit out of it, but not necessarily in a bad way. You were a bit more relaxed and managed to get through the shoot without issue. Although once it was over you felt a bit dizzy.

“Easy now.”

Kevin and Haknyeon had been off to the side during the shoot and had noticed your state afterwards. The two escorted you back to the dressing room.

“Are you sure you’re feeling well?” Haknyeon checked your temperature. “You don’t seem to be running a fever.”

You certainly needed the day off to just process everything. Now that you had some information about those damn vitamins you couldn’t help but think back to all those times you had felt off. This whole conversation wasn’t sitting well with you, but they eventually let it go, and you were grateful. That is until you started feeling sick. From what you knew, such a party was never good news, but if it meant you’d get away from this company then so be it. You were informed that this private party was for the investors of the company, so of course having one of the models there would be good. “Don’t keep an empty drink in hand.” Kevin took your glass and handed you another. “It looks bad.”

“So?”

“You’re still under the company tonight, you represent it, so behave.”

“I know.”

Those superficial feelings starting to become real. At times you’d question as to whether or not you actually wanted to go through with this and throw away the nice little life you had. Even as you snuck away to the police station those thoughts plagued you.

Okay, give Marc a chance, please. Let it be Valencia - his title and then everything will turn into a mess. Technically, it's just as convenient because everyone will have time since the season is over. Oh yes, please have more vr46 x marc bonding scenes. I really want to see how they will give him support and comfort, which he was deprived of, will teach him how they interact and rely on each other within the pack, it all sounds so wonderful. I honestly also think they should be happy with the idea of having Marc in their pack, because as you said, when he opens up and lets them get closer, he will really give them the love and calmness they lack. Perhaps he even fills in the gaps of Valentino, for example (my favorite) helps Cele, supports and gives advice to Bez ( it would be funny, because it would be difficult for him to get rid of some kind of jealousy, since Marc is in some way the most successful person of their gender. Firstly, yes, about the title. Marc will be winning it, and it will be Valencia, and then everything will go to shit.

I think the best thing about having VR46 x Marc bonding is that it will be necessary for him to heal. I feel like he would need to spend loads of time with the pack, whether that's Vale's pack (the boys) or the motoGP pack. I think there's so much room for it to be explored. I really want to think about how Marc deals with this sudden increase in affection (i love a touch starved trope) like marc is not used to scenting or nesting or anything anymore. 100% - the pack accept him. He's the omega calmness and maturity that they need, he smells amazing and Valentino is so much more relaxed, and he gives great advice, and he's hot!!!! Very important to me. Also I love how you said that Marc fills in the gaps for Vale, like looking after Cele and helping Bez, helping Luca with the Honda...

I think that's a good dynamic to play with, too. I never know how to think about Marc and Bez. It's intriguing

On one hand, bez has another omega to be with, which i think will do wonders for him. Also, I'm a firm believer that a bunch of them idolised Marc/ had a bit of a crush on him, so it would be a bit insane for Marc to join their pack... but also, you're right, bez is very influenced by the hate- Marc propaganda, and it causes some jealousy, not because of Vale but maybe because of the attention? And the fact that Marc is so successful and a great omega etc etc. - although that fades when he realises everything Marc has gone through (then he becomes super sad). I think overall Bez would be very settled by Marc's presence.

It's definitely a happy ending, dw. And yes, this is affecting Vale and the pack, i have spoken especially about the effects on the pack before, but Vale is also hurting. Not to the same extent, but it isn't fun for him. For him, i think it feels like something is missing from his life. It's a constant unsettling feeling around Marc *because mate, but Vale is stupid and thinks it's something Marc is doing to throw him off or something.**

So my canon is that Vale doesn't know he's used alpha voice, marc does eventually realise that's what happened and internalises it, thinking he's a bad omega etc. I loveee the idea of Marc thinking its better this way, not telling people, thinking he's just a bad person snd deserves to be isolated. I think it's also good segway into his repression but MAN it hurts!

I'm so glad you agree with my thinning about Alpha/alpha dovi and casey. I think Dovi is such a mellow and chilled out person 90% of the time, that the alpha x alpha really works for this relationship. Also after they both leave the grid in 2021 ish, it gives us scope to have those two supporting Marc for a couple of years, since they aren't in the motogp pack anymore and unlike Vale they don't really hang around. (Did someone say alpha x alpha x omega ships???) Also I love what you said about relationships being built on mutual trust and respect etc, because it's so true for them (and something vale needs to learn)

I definitely think plenty of people on the grid feel for marc and are worried for him. Alex is always there, but dani is very concerned and remains protective the whole way through the timeline. I think caeey and dovi would be a support. Potentially fabio, aleix, and a couple of other riders. I'm not sure JLo would be too involved, other than through Dani! But yes, plenty of people are concerned, but marc is pushing them away/ can't be with them, and no one understand whyyyyy!!!!

Absolutely adore the thought of Vale being able to feel when Marc is close to his pack. It's almost like an itch or discomfort. Vale doesn't understand at all. Again, during 2018-2024, he thinks marc is evil *idiot*. Beautiful thoughts. Also, I do kinda love the idea of Marc suffering alone. It's sure Vale can have some pain and discomfort, but I want marc to bear the brunt of it. Why? You may ask - idk because I'm evil and I want him to suffer.

When marc and Vale eventually get back together/ have this hospital reunion, something shifts in Vale, and he's like OH! Yes, he forgot (purposefully or not) about how Marc settled him, made him feel whole. Blah blah blah, they're destined for each other etc etc. Love the analogy of letting go of a heavy load! maturing is realizing I cause a lot of my own problems. I don't think I need to rest more, I need to work harder. I'm not emotionally unstable, I'm healing and burnt out and self-sabotaging.

A long, long time ago, I said I didn't think wanting to be cared for & loved was wrong. It's only human to crave connection, no? It's perfectly fine to love and expect it.. but if I may be truthful, I can be terrible at keeping up with my connections and loving others. I know the love is there, I'm just not great at following up a lot of the time.

Words. I'm made of them. I'm made of cheap words and flimsy promises and seclusion and my father's flaws. Because he did that too. I wish I wasn't like this a lot of the time & I know it can be helped.. I'm just not trying to work hard for it. I don't know why and I regret it so, so much.

And then I do try. Oh, how I try. But as soon as obstacles come along, as soon as something rattles my cup, I spill out everywhere and it's a mess.

I'm not as creative as I used to be. Not really, no. I'm definitely not as healthy as I used to be. I'm not entirely happy. I'm tired.

I hold love for everyone around me, especially the meaningful connections I've created through here and elsewhere, I hold so much love for you guys it hurts. When someone goes from carrying the weight of the world on their shoulders and that weight goes away, the ache does not. The pain stays for a while. I imagine they'll stumble. Their back and soles will be bruised, they might get really dizzy and their breath might stutter, right? Because their world is tilted on its axis and what was one their alignment is gone and now the path they take is up to them.

I'm supposed to be stronger than this. I'm supposed to be changing, changed. Why is it so scary? Why does it hurt so bad?

I'm not doing this for attention, I don't think. Or maybe I am. I trust you guys so maybe this is okay to say. I dunno. At the very most I won't be entirely ignored. Is it a bad thing to want to rant out loud? To wish to be listened to? It's not that nobody was ever listening before, it's just.. I never really spoke up.

I don't like the way my body looks. I don't like who I've been. I want to crawl out of my skin sometimes. I wanna cut my hair. I wish I had better money saving habits.

I wouldn't still be here out of my own accord, I think. I do believe I'm being saved by the love I hold for everyone around me. One day I do believe I'll come to love myself too.

That being said, I love each and every one of you so, so much. Incomprehensibly so. That, I will never ever lie about. Never could. Please believe me. Please don't ever, ever doubt that. No matter what.. I know I leave a lot, I know I tend to disappear in the midst of conversation, I know.

Coming back to reread these two novels in a row! I enjoy Priest's modern works, and I especially enjoy Itinerant Doctor, which is the sequel to this one. Wait, is this my first Priest review... I think so? o-o

Su Qing, dumped unceremoniously by his boyfriend, decides to go for a drunken one night stand. Unfortunately, this decision of his changes his life.

Forever.

Utopia. A hidden group researching the bounds of a new energy source, using human emotions as the basis. Those who can utilize this emotional energy are called Blue Seals- the disposable ones who help filter the emotions, Grey Seals. Su Qing finds himself in the clutches of Utopia, a place worse than hell.

I enjoy the world building and science used in this novel! Priest never fails to deliver when it comes to their plotlines, and Su Qing is a great protagonist with an interesting character arc and growth. I especially enjoy all the character interactions in this novel, the RZ group and the grey seals Su Qing gets to know. Tu Tutu is a fun little kid, and I really like Xu Ruchong and Chang Dou... Silly smart characters are always endearing to me.

Su Qing is really interesting and I'm glad he's the main focus for most of the novel. From naive, to brazen, to cautious and afraid to show his true feelings. From the one being swindled, to the one true swindler! His advancements from being normal to forcing himself through hell to save those he holds dear and keep himself and Tutu safe are just. Really good. He's very compelling to me.

Hu Bugui is solid. He's honest, open, but quiet and careful. After failing Su Qing once, and getting him into this mess in the first place, he does everything he can think of to try to make it up to him. I feel a little bad for him, as thus really puts Su Qing off until Su Qing makes up.his own mind to like him (or at least accept his feelings about the matter). Su Qing needs the stability and forwardness Hu Bugui gives him, and its nice to see.

I think the only thing with this novel that kind of lost me was that I didn't read it all at once. Or at least, the ending sequence loses a bit of life if you're not fully invested. I remember the ending really gripping me the first time I read it so this is definitely my own problem, but the rest of the novel is just as good as I remembered. Just remember to put a bit of time aside as you reach the last 4 or 5 chapters or so to read it all at once 👍

How was the translation? Perfect! E. Danglars does a great job every time.

Would I recommend this novel? Yeah! Its a good military sci-fi with a great cast of characters.

Would I reread this novel? Maybe! I like the sequel more and may reread this one to get to the next one again...

Hello! I have another request. Idk if this is triggering in any way and its up to you if you wanna answer it but this is more.. realistic. It is based on actual problems and issues people have so if this is triggering please let me know or dont respond.

Can I get Kuroko with a female reader that isnt.. the healthiest in the bunch? Like at first shes really sweet and they get into this nice relationship where its perfect and theyre exploring things but slowly the reader comes to admit about her.. unpleasant life experiences which are not only concerning but straight up horror because perhaps its still happening. At first, she refuses to get help for reasons but slowly Kuroko begins to notice that the reader has some sort of periods where she either witnesses the reader not coming out at all from home or to school.

The reader seems much tenser around Kuroko and is practically digging her nails in her thighs due to messing things up in the past and learning when its too late. She is still sweet(sometimes) just.. looks very upset. Its either that or the reader damages herself in any kind of way and hides it. When Kuroko does find out(because it becomes noticable, either by weight or expression or wtv), the reader is basically shaking and sobbing because they dont want to lose Kuroko too so they finally promise to get help and you can decide how things go.

If you do have the strength to answer this, thank you! It is quite hard to answer an ask that you can relate to in terms of mental health and problems. You matter and you can be brave!

I come with every intention of writing and spoilers: this requires a lot of text but, sorry… it's an interesting read.

I've seen a lot of people complain about SW and their way of doing things; I've seen people complain about The Mandalorian and say; At what point did it become children's content?

Well, as I tell you, since season 1 this content has always turned out to be family content.

Now the people who say this; It is because it is alienated that SW does not vary; when practically the SW material is pure fantasy and there is material for everyone, of all colors and flavors. The Mandalorian cannot be pigeonholed solely into violence; friend, then you have not understood anything about this universe.

See Star Wars and everything Geroge, Filoni and Jon have been working on with a whole creative team, etc, etc. is to enter that world to which they took you "the never ending story", "the labyrinth", "Dragon Heart", "Merlin" and I can continue… magical worlds, where hope resides everywhere, where love It is an important point because despite not being able to see it, it becomes part of this environment and expresses itself in mysterious ways (yes, like strength). That is why pigeonholing SW solely in violence is taking away a vital part of its narrative, it is as if the conflicts in its different aspects were not shown; or wanting to remove something very substantial that although species from other worlds are shown; They have something that unites them with everything. A few days ago I was watching episode 3 and I'm going to say this; Anakin is a great character, he is a villain through and through, but all this grew like a snowball. They lost Anakin and he was already lost, Palpatine knew how to play his pieces. Their actions do not have to be justified, but they do need to be understood and exposed. At the end of the day in this universe Who has not stained their hands with mud or blood to fight for something? Who hasn't had to ignore innocent people to preserve an idea or a fight? Who hasn't had to give in to the bad orders of others to save their people?

When I see people judging Bo Katan, for example; for being a terrorist in her past or for her wrong actions and them using this as a reason for Din not to be around her; I say to you.. How low and dirty do they have to be to use a person's past, in this case a character, and judge them and not allow them to redeem themselves?

Si Din let Bo Katan redeem himself this season 3 Who do you think you are to not allow it?

It hurts me a lot to see Anakin get lost and to see that here they showed us what love is. but they also show us "it's the right person at the wrong time"

Padme could fight hard but her own worries and Anakin's attitudes were driving them apart.

When Anakin is tempted to turn to the dark side to gain power and knowledge, he gives in to his attachment to Padme, his fear, and gives in to the temptation. And for example in the mandalorian from season 1 We can see how temptation tried to envelop Din Djarin so that he would leave the creed.

Many people believe that this scene with Omera was "romantic" which it was not so; This series was representative of that TEMPTATION that Din could have fallen into. It's a symbolic scene of how Din was able to abandon the creed, stop being a Mandalorian, settle down and live in a remote place. EVEN when he mentions to Omera that his main goal was to honor Mandalorian culture, which saved him from the droids. SHE tries to take off his helmet if he allows it, invasively, as a temptation. THE CLEAR THING was that he NEVER fell into temptation.

Din clearly tells him "I don't belong here."

Because many say “I wanted a quiet life with her.” I say; Since he did not agree to stay and preferred the creed and remain Mandalorian, develop his character, surround himself with other people, adopt Grogu and recover his planet together with Bo Katan, I tell you HE preferred a Mandalorian life and his lifestyle and culture may be anything but "a quiet lifestyle."

Now when they say "Bo katan is a liar, a villain" it's because they didn't understand any point I mentioned. All SW characters have had to make difficult decisions, Bo Katan has been more oriented towards being an Anti-hero. And I don't justify her but it is understood and her points of view are expressed, about why she acted that way.

Since season 2 he could have killed or betrayed Din and taken his saber, in season 3 he had all the time and opportunities to do so. AND IT NEVER HAPPENS…

6. If Leona doesn't respond to you, please don't feel too bad! He is sleeping and procrastinating on his work. Ruggie gets on him about it, but still... He gets lazy in checking his own blog.

7. That being said, I am also a full-time high school student, and so it is likely that my replies will be fully messed up (read: I tend to procrastinate by doing fun things and then I have a week to catch up on all my schoolwork). Please be mindful of that and don't spam me and Leona.

8. OCs? Absolutely! I love seeing your OCs. Make sure to send in a description of them either beforehand or in your starter (unless Leona doesn't know your character at all, I guess - but it would still help to have a general overview). If there's nothing of the sort, I will automatically assume that your character and Leona have never met. However, I am not comfortable with the first interaction with an OC being a romantic one, as it has become a problem before for me.

9. I can speak a little bit of Japanese (my parents are Japanese but I haven't actually tried to learn it well so it may be messy (though I'm working on it)) and I am learning Spanish (in school) so! I am willing to write replies using those languages as well as English (and I will automatically use honorifics like "-senpai," "-chan," and "-kun," so keep that in mind). Spanish I can't guarantee though because it kind of can suck (as well as Japanese).

10. I also love shipping and am not very selective (I love seeing rare pairs, and in general seeing how their ship would work out). So, feel free to do that too! Before they get into a relationship, though, they need to have at least some sort of interaction beforehand (because I want to get to know you too, and even if you're playing a canon character, I still want to do some regular stuff first) To add to that, I am a multishipper, so each relationship happens in its own verse.

11. OOC talks? I love them, but if you aren't talking directly to Leona or something about him, then I'd redirect you to @kazumirambles which is my regular ol' talking blog (so I don't spam anyone).

12. Anons will always be treated platonically by Leona (as he doesn't know you that much), but you are welcome to send all your love to him! He will read all of it and it grows his confidence (it's unnecessary though, he has enough confidence and pride (no he doesn't I'm lying to you))

♡Adam and Eve (Absolute Isolation):

Enclosed World: These Yandere wish to be absolutely isolated with their Darling. May commit murder-suicide with the Darling so that they really will be alone together. Forever.

♡Deprived

Loss: Will do anything to get their Darling back if they lose them. Anything.

Clingy: Clings to their Darling and has to be around them 24/7. Will become mentally unstable if they lose their Darling.   

♡Collector’s Habit

Sampling Urge: As long as they can appreciate their Darling’s body, they don’t care if they’re alive or dead. Darling is like a butterfly, and they’re the butterfly collector.   

Collector: Obsessed with the love interest being their property. Wants to collect everything from the love interest, regardless of its value.

♡Attention Seeking

Self-harm: These Yanderes try to bind their Darling to them by harming themselves.

Making an impression: Will do things that the Darling hates on purpose and try to remain in their memories even in the form of hatred or fear.

♡Observing

These Yanderes simply watch and observe, usually from the shadows. Their Darling is often not aware of the Yandere’s actions.

♡Monitoring

Confinement: Will place their Darling under their monitoring, usually by hiding them somewhere others cannot find. 

Keeping Tabs: Will do actions such as bugging their Darling’s phones or taking photos in secret for the sake of collecting information. These Yanderes are meticulous.
