tumblr, i am starting a checklist (because i feel odd.)
see; i realized that i actually feel a bit awful right now. i can't quite name it, but i just kind of go through everything my life entails without being particularly happy or sad or angry or anxious. i go places and i sleep and i eat but i feel capital "b" Bad.
that being said, i'm starting a checklist as a bit of motivation. (i wish this website let me have more than one pinned post so i can keep this one somewhere important, but alas.) what's gonna be on it? things i want to do that are plausible for me to accomplish by the end of the year. it'll be a combination of hobbies and singular tasks.
so. here it is:
invest in a sewing machine and start making small items of clothing for myself. i want to develop a specific style, but lack the resources, so i think this is my cheapest option.
find and start attending lessons with a japanese language tutor. eventually i want to travel to the country, if just once, and i don't want to be an ignorant tourist. plus, learning a language other than english is good, and japanese happens to be the one i know best besides english. (besides, japanese is notoriously a challenge for native english speakers, and i am an academic masochist.)
get a new binder. i had one, but had to give it up, so i want to get a new one by the end of the year. it'll bring me euphoria and joy.
experiment more with make-up. it sounds silly, but i really feel out of my depth, so i rarely wear any, but i want to have fun while expressing myself!
make a new friend. i have friends, but i realized i can't always depend on those few people forever. and meeting new people will get easier the more i do it.
invest in more aids for myself. i'm coming to the realization that i am a sensory sensitive person, but don't really have the tools to navigate life with that knowledge. so far i have ear plugs, and i plan on getting chewelry, but who knows what else?
read more books! i love reading. writing is my favorite form of art, and i have so many books i plan on reading, but i haven't gotten around to it. last book i read to completion was no longer human a few months ago, which gave me a lot of thoughts, but i feel like i couldn't appreciate or absorb it in any meaningful way. probably because i don't read as much as i used to.
that's the end of my list of goals. i'm gonna update this post every time i accomplish a goal from the list.
i don't think i'll completely fulfill each one, but i want to get started with each.
#yo it's d :)#d's 2024 goals#i'll tag it like that in case you don't care#this is all part of an initiative to develop a personality and hobbies outside of my interests. so we shall see what i manage to do.#wish me luck everyone.

*Runs up to you*
I heard you wanted fluff requests?
Can I ask for König and 141! reader falling in love?
Falling in Love with König
I turned these into headcanons I hope that's alright
Pairing: König x GN!Reader Word Count: 1182 Masterlist
The first time you had seen the mountain of a man was on a joint operation. You'd been sent out with a couple other members of the 141 to meet up with a another group- the Kortac
He caught your eye. I mean, it's kind of hard to miss him. He had a few inches on the next tallest person there and the mask he wore made him stick out to you
He was quiet spoken, you assumed he had anxiety or was just a bit shy. König lingered away from the big group of people gathered, didn't go out of his way to talk to someone but was kind if someone spoke to him
Speaking of, you were probably the one to initiate anything between the two of you
It started with exchanging your names and a couple hobbies you both enjoyed doing
After a few more operations with König, you found the courage to ask for his phone number so the two of you could stay in contact outside of missions. He was more than happy to give it to you, his eyes crinkling up in a smile as you traded numbers
Your friendship with him was quick to blossom and he became more comfortable talking with you
If you both had overlapping time off, you'd go see each other, hang out for a day or two, and then head your separate ways to see family or friends
Over the years, your friendship started turning into something else
It had started off small, this little crush you developed on the Austrian. You tried to ignore it, nervous it would end up affecting your relationship with König
And it was around that time that you started to notice small details
The way König's eyes crinkled when he smiled and laughed. His laugh would rattle in your head and the sound always brought a heat to your cheeks
His little mannerisms when he was getting overwhelmed in public. A hand would brush against your arm and he'd give you a look that told you all you needed to know. His legs liked to bounce when you went out to eat with him, his knee hitting the bottom of the table with every bounce up
König's voice was like honey and you've caught yourself multiple times staring at him when he spoke
He was there when you needed him and you were there when he needed you. He confided in you after rough missions. If you got injured on a mission, he'd ask for you to keep him updated on how you were healing
His touches would linger a little longer when he stepped around you, parting hugs would last a beat longer than normal. His hands were rough, yet his touches remained soft
You told yourself it was all coincidence. There's no way he would feel the same way.. right?
It all came to a boiling point when you and König decided to take a week long vacation together. You'd been friends for just over 6 years at this point and had been talking about taking one for the last year or two. You just had to wait to get the time off
König was the one who got the motel you'd be sharing
You don't know if some higher power above enjoyed seeing you suffer or if you were just that unlucky. Your stomach dropped when you opened the door. One bed
You heard König stumble over apologies behind you as you stepped into the room. You could feel your heart thrum in your chest, could feel it pulse through your head
You told him it was fine, you'd sleep on the floor, he could have the bed
He insisted the opposite. Insisted you take the bed to make up for the mistake he'd made
König ended up in the bed that night. You tossed and turned on the floor, trying to find a comfortable position to lay down in
Your near constant movement seemed to wake König back up, his voice invading your head and making you jump a little
"Would you rather have the bed?"
You rolled over to look at him, your eyes long adjusted to the dark, already finding him watching you with his tired eyes. You shook your head, running a hand over your face. "I'm fine, König, don't worry."
"No you're not. We can share the bed."
Your heart skipped a beat and you let out a shaky breath. "Are you sure?"
König hummed out a yes and you heard the bed sheets rustle as he moved to make space for you. You pushed yourself up off the floor and climbed into bed alongside the man
You tried to keep as much space between yourself and König as you pulled the covers up and over you. The space didn't last long
König turned into you in his sleep. His arm draped over your waist and his front pressed against your back
You had tensed and your heart rate picked up again. König's face nuzzled into the back of your head, quiet, relaxed breaths coming from the Austrian
The sound of his breathing and the slow beat of his heart against your back eventually lulled you to sleep
You woke before König the next morning, still wrapped up in his arms
It wasn't long after that König woke up. In his haze, he pulled you closer to him to keep the warmth you provided closer to him. It pulled a shaky breath from you and it was then that König seemed to realize what he was doing
He apologized, moving to remove himself from you before freezing when your hand on his arm stopped him
That early morning, with the golden morning sun peeking through the window of the motel, you confessed to him. Your voice was shaky with nerves, fingers mindlessly tracing shapes into the skin of König's arm
He stayed quiet throughout your confession but you felt his body relax behind you as you spoke
Once you finished speaking, he turned your head to plant a kiss on your cheek. It brought a new heat to your cheeks and you choked on your breath as you smiled. The relief that flowed through you was indescribable
Then, König started talking, Admitted he'd been pushing his own feelings down in fear in would put a strain on your friendship
He told you he dreamed about the day he would wake up in bed with you, holding you in his arms, spend the morning with you. Told you how much he loved listening to you talk, how much he loved spending time with you
Your doubts that König wouldn't feel the same way diminished as he spoke, as he ran his fingers over the skin on your tummy
He ended his own confession with a kiss to the corner of your mouth. You held his head in place and placed a proper kiss to König's lips. You felt him smile against your lips and he hugged you tighter, whispering an 'I love you' that you gladly returned

Gonna fill out this questionaire for Curie's upcoming appearance in the @sonic-oc-showdown round starting this weekend! Let me introduce you to my beloved flying radioactive puppy!
âš- How did you come up with the OCâs name?
Curie is named after the radioactive measurement of the curie, and also Maria SkĆodowska-Curie. Their name is actually older than this particular iteration of the character, who was originally not a sonic oc and was named Curie as an intentional callback to the name of a character in Homestuck. "The Radiant" is because he glows in the dark, playing on a rarer sonic character naming convention (Fang the Sniper/Hunter).
đŒ - How old are they? (Or approximate age range)
Developmentally and physically, Curie would be roughly in their early to mid twenties. However, they were born in 1923, making them about 86 in their AU's current day (2009). They spent most of their life locked in isolation in a military facility, though, and were only freed and started living life outside a box again in 1995.
đș- Do they have any love interest(s)?
He's part of a 5 person polycule including my other characters Agent VX, Caprice Amaranth, David Valke and Luka Mosaic. He has different relationships with all of them, having fallen for V, Caprice and Valke while adapting to modern life, and becoming involved with Luka later after they bonded over being giant nerds.
đ - What is their favorite food?
Candy, pretty much any type. Crunchy sweets like rock are their favourite.
đŒ - What do they do for a living?
Curie runs a nuclear power plant and waste disposal business, which is largely a front for making sure he has enough to eat-- because as much as he enjoys candy, his body will only properly digest radioactive materials. Since his business is really only there to keep him fed, he sells power at a loss-- which means it's very affordable and in high demand, giving him the ability to expand his power network and thus bring in more nuclear waste to eat later. He's not in it to make money, though-- outside of his personal R&D efforts, he sinks practically all his profits into charity. His main reactor base and the surrounding city of Bloodwood Grove was built on the Painted-Rocks clan's abandoned land, specifically to help camouflage the habitats of the last living mobosaur herds that the clan once hunted and protected.
đč - Do they have any hobbies?
They collect plushies, radioactive knick knacks like uranium glass and watches with radium paint, and Godzilla merchandise, and they love to tinker with technology and study space.
đŻ -What do they do best?
Nuclear physics, probably-- it's something that started out of necessity (because of his unusual diet) but he developed an aptitude for it and genuinely enjoys working on nuclear powered inventions. It's not unusual for him to build experimental reactors for fun.
đ„ -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?
They love to watch Godzilla movies and play around with unusual tech. They hate being confined to boring meeting rooms or made to deal with unnecessary beauracracy.
â€ïž - What is one of your OCâs best memories?
The first time he rolled in the grass after he was freed from the facility he was imprisoned in. The grass wasn't even on Earth/Mobius, but it was grass, and he'd all but forgotten it existed after being locked away for 60+ years.
âïž - What is one of your OCâs worst memories?
They don't currently have many-- a lot of their most traumatic experiences will occur in the future, such as when the forces/zombot plot occurs. That's not fun for anyone, but especially Curie.
đ§ - Is their current design the first one?
The very first proto-Curie was actually just a heavily au Jade Harley-- who had changed so drastically I "filed off the serial numbers" and made into their own character. His first ever original design was human! He still ate nuclear waste, though. This current iteration of Curie was developed when I was initially setting up my Amalgam au, drawing more on his initial prototype's personality and history than Cain Einley, the other character I split off the same prototype several years back.
đ - What originally inspired the OC?
Related to the question above, they spawned from a particularly ridiculous homestuck fanfic that never made it past a disjointed first draft back in the early 10s. If i sink enough development into a canon character that they stop looking/sounding like that character, I split them off, give them a fursona and a new name, and carry on writing my new oc, and Curie is just another in a long line of similar characters who occupy my brainspace.
đ - What genre do they belong in?
Science fiction for sure.
đ - What is your OCâs gender identity and sexuality?
They are agender with a side of transmasc*, and use he or they pronouns interchangeably. Curie is also demisexual-- they need to form an emotional bond with someone before they can develop romantic feelings for them. *My friends and I often refer to them as "none gender with left boy"
đ - How many sibling does your OC have?
He had four, but none of them are alive today, and he doesn't remember them anymore. :(
đ - What is the OCâs relationship w/their parents like?
They don't remember either of their parents, either, but considering that the guy who made them what they are now was their father, at least one of those relationships was pretty unhealthy.
đ§ - What do you like most about the OC?
On a purely aesthetic level the fact that he glows in the dark will always delight me. It's such a fun trait to play with!
âïž - How often do you draw/write about the OC?
I draw them decently often, although a lot of what I draw in general doesn't get published. I write about them a lot more, but nothing that's in a state to be shared. They're the secondary main character of Amalgam's whole main storyline!
đ - Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC?
He does die in the future. Not for a good long while-- mobians in his universe live for 150 years on average, and his peculiar metabolism means he's going to outlive that many times over, but eventually he will power down and fade away. He's got a lot to accomplish on the way there though!
đ - Does your OC have any phobias?
Claustrophobia for sure.
đ© -Who is your OCâs arch-nemesis or rival?
In the future he'll be taking the rookie's place in Amalgam's version of the forces/zombot plot (they are combined!), and will be facing up against their version of Infinite. His radioactive blood means he can't get infected by the zombot virus, which puts him in a position of being the best person for a lot of problem solving in this particular plotline.
đ - How long have you had the OC?
As "Curie the Radiant", since early 2019. Here's the first ever picture I posted of them, before their personality had finished solidifying!
đ„ - What age were you when you created the OC?
In 2019 I was 29! Although as I said earlier, he has roots in fanfiction/original fiction from before Amalgam became my primary worldbuild, and his prototype form would date to when I was about 23.

Chapter Five: Growing Connection
A month into her practicum, Y/N had found her place at The Stand. The once-daunting environment now felt like a second home, thanks to the people she worked with. Gabby had become a close friend, her playful energy and constant encouragement making every shift a little brighter. The two often spent their breaks together, sharing snacks and swapping stories about their lives outside of work.
âDonât forget, weâre hitting the cafĂ© after this,â Gabby said one afternoon during their break. âYou still owe me coffee for beating me at foosball last week.â
Y/N rolled her eyes but smiled. âYou just like an excuse for a caramel latte.â
âGuilty as charged,â Gabby replied, grinning.
Priya, ever the calming presence, had taken on a big-sister role in Y/Nâs life. She offered advice on everything from handling difficult calls to navigating the ups and downs of adulthood. During quieter moments at The Stand, Priya would sit with Y/N, sharing anecdotes from her years of experience as a counselor.
âYouâre doing great, Y/N,â Priya said one evening after a tough call. âYouâve got this way of making people feel safe. Thatâs not something you can teachâitâs just part of who you are.â
Y/N blushed at the compliment. âThanks, Priya. That means a lot coming from you.â
Even Miles, who had initially seemed reserved and sarcastic, had warmed up to Y/N. The two often bantered during shifts, their friendly teasing becoming a highlight of Y/Nâs day.
âDonât you have, like, a million notes in that notebook by now?â Miles asked one day, nodding toward the ever-present item on Y/Nâs desk.
âIâm thorough,â Y/N replied, smirking. âUnlike some people who just wing it.â
Miles snorted. âWinging it is an art form. You should try it sometime.â
And then there was CJ.
Over the weeks, CJ had made an effort to get to know Y/N better. Their conversations, once professional and surface-level, had grown deeper and more personal. He asked her about her hobbies, her family, and what had brought her to psychology in the first place.
âSo, whatâs with the notebook?â he asked one evening as they were tidying up after their shift. âYouâre always writing in it.â
Y/N hesitated, her fingers brushing the edge of the notebook. âItâs kind of my everything book. I write notes about calls, but I also jot down ideas, lines, random thoughts. It helps me process things.â
CJ nodded thoughtfully. âThatâs a good habit. I should probably try something like that.â
âYouâre welcome to borrow mine,â Y/N teased, holding it out to him. âBut good luck making sense of my handwriting.â
He chuckled, shaking his head. âIâll stick to my Post-it notes, thanks.â
Their conversations often drifted into personal territory. Y/N had shared bits and pieces of her family historyâhow her motherâs death had left a void that her fatherâs remarriage hadnât filled. CJ listened intently, offering quiet support without pushing her to say more than she wanted to.
One evening, as they wrapped up a long shift, Y/N turned the tables. âWhat about you? Youâre always asking about me, but I donât know much about your family.â
CJ hesitated, his usual calm demeanor flickering for a moment. âMy familyâs... complicated,â he admitted. âBut theyâve always had my back. Even when I didnât deserve it.â
Y/N tilted her head, her curiosity evident. âLike when you were younger? You mentioned before that things were rough.â
CJ nodded, his gaze dropping briefly before meeting hers again. âYeah. I wasnât the easiest kid to deal with. But they stuck by me, and eventually, I got my act together. I owe them a lot.â
Y/N smiled softly. âThey must be proud of you.â
âI hope so,â CJ said, his voice quieter now.
âIâm sure they are,â Y/N said kindly.
CJ enjoyed their growing connection, and it wasnât easy to ignore the warmth he felt whenever she was aroundâthe way her smile lit up the room or how her kindness seemed to make even the hardest days a little easier.
CJ often found himself catching small glimpses of her during shifts, whether she was handling a tough call or laughing with Gabby over some inside joke. It wasnât something he could explain, but there was a pullâa quiet connection he couldnât ignore.
Y/N, for her part, noticed the way CJâs presence had a grounding effect on her. His steadiness, his quiet humor, and the way he genuinely cared about everyone at The Stand made her feel safe. And yet, there was a part of her that couldnât help but wonder if there was something more between themâsomething unspoken, hovering just beneath the surface.
For now, they both stayed within the lines, keeping their growing bond tucked away in shared moments and quiet conversations. But in the back of their minds, the question lingered: How long could they pretend it was just friendship?
The soft hum of activity in The Stand had dimmed during Y/Nâs call, the weight of the situation commanding the room's attention. The student on the other end of the line had been struggling with thoughts of suicide, their voice trembling as they described feeling like they had no way out.
Y/N had done everything she could to stay calm, but midway through, sheâd glanced at CJ, her eyes filled with a silent plea for help. Heâd immediately stepped in, sliding into the seat next to her and taking over the conversation seamlessly. His voice, steady and warm, wrapped around the caller like a lifeline, offering validation, support, and a path forward. Y/N sat beside him, her heart racing as she listened to every word, her fingers clutching her notebook tightly.
When the call finally ended, CJ hung up gently, letting out a quiet breath before turning to Y/N. âYou okay?â he asked, his tone low but concerned.
Y/N nodded quickly, her movements stiff. âYeah, I justââ She stopped, her voice faltering. Her hands trembled slightly as she set her pen down, and her gaze dropped to the desk. âIt was just... a lot.â
CJâs brow furrowed, his attention fixed on her. âY/N, itâs okay. That was a tough call. You did everything you could.â
She nodded again, but her breathing was shallow, and her eyes looked distant, unfocused. CJ recognized the signs of someone spiraling, their mind pulling them somewhere else entirely.
âHey,â he said softly, leaning closer but keeping his movements slow. âYouâre here, okay? Youâre safe.â
Y/Nâs lips parted as if to respond, but instead, her chest tightened, and a memory surged forward unbidden.
It was four years ago. Y/N had been sitting alone in her dorm room, the weight of grief and loneliness pressing down on her like a heavy blanket. Her motherâs death had left a void she couldnât fill, and her fatherâs remarriage had only deepened her sense of isolation. That night, the darkness had felt insurmountable.
Her hand had trembled as she dialed The Stand, unsure of what she was even looking for. The line had rung once, twice, and then a voice answered.
âThe Stand, teen helpline, how can I help you tonight?â
She hadnât been able to speak at first, her throat tight with unshed tears. But his voiceâcalm, patient, and kindâhad eased some of the tension. Slowly, sheâd begun to talk, haltingly at first, but then spilling everything: her momâs death, her fatherâs neglect, the suffocating loneliness.
Y/N hesitated. Did she actually dare to speak? Did she dare to try and get help? The silence stretched out, and she wasnât sure how to begin.
âIâIâm sorry, this was a mistake,â she finally said.
âIt's okay,â CJ said. âLetâs take a breath. Why did you call?â The soft tone was comforting.
The memory hit Y/N like a wave, and she gasped, her hand flying to her chest as she tried to steady her breathing. Her surroundings blurred, and for a moment, it was as if she were back in that dorm room, gripping the phone like a lifeline.
âY/N,â CJâs voice broke through the fog, gentle but firm. âLook at me.â
She blinked, her vision clearing as her gaze found his. His green eyes were steady, grounding her in the present.
âYouâre okay,â CJ said, his voice soft but sure. âTake a deep breath. In through your nose, out through your mouth.â
Y/N obeyed, her breaths shaky at first but gradually evening out. She clutched the edge of the desk, anchoring herself as the room came back into focus.
CJ watched her carefully, his tone even. âDo you want to step outside for a minute? Get some air?â
She nodded wordlessly, and he stood, motioning for her to follow. He led her to the small courtyard outside The Stand, the crisp air brushing against her skin. They stood in silence for a moment before CJ spoke.
âYou donât have to tell me whatâs going on,â he said gently. âBut if you want to talk, Iâm here.â
Y/N hesitated, her arms wrapped around herself as she stared at the ground. âItâs just... the call reminded me of something,â she admitted finally, her voice barely audible. âSomething I went through. A long time ago.â
CJ didnât push, his tone careful. âIâm sorry you had to go through that. Whatever it was, it must have been hard.â
âIt was,â Y/N said, her voice trembling. âBut... I got through it. Someone helped me. Someone at The Stand, actually.â
CJâs chest tightened, but he kept his expression neutral. âIâm glad you called,â he said softly. âWhoever you spoke to... they mustâve seen how strong you are.â
Y/N let out a shaky breath, a faint smile tugging at her lips. âMaybe. I just... I never forgot how much it meant. That someone was there.â
CJâs gaze lingered on her, a strange sense of familiarity tugging at the back of his mind. He thought of the call that had stayed with him all these yearsâthe girl who had sounded so lost but had fought so hard to hold on. Could it be...?
He didnât dare ask, not yet. Instead, he offered her a small, reassuring smile. âAnd now youâre doing the same for others. Thatâs something to be proud of.â
Y/N looked at him, her eyes glistening but steady. âThanks, CJ. For being here.â
âAlways,â he said, his voice firm but warm.
As they stood together in the quiet courtyard, both of them felt the weight of unspoken truths hanging between them. Neither knew the full story, but in that moment, it didnât matter. What mattered was the connectionâthe understandingâand the shared determination to keep moving forward, one step at a time.
The end-of-shift hum filled The Stand as everyone began packing up for the day. The second shift had settled into their rhythm, and the first shift was winding down, chatting quietly as they gathered their things. Y/N sat at her desk, carefully tucking her notebook into her bag when Gabby plopped down in the chair next to her, grinning as usual.
âYou and that notebook,â Gabby teased, nudging Y/N lightly. âWhatâs in there, anyway? The secrets to world peace?â
Y/N rolled her eyes but smiled. âItâs just... my everything book. Notes from calls, lines, random thoughts. Nothing special.â
Gabbyâs eyes lit up with curiosity. âRandom thoughts? Like what? Let me see!â
Y/N hesitated, holding the notebook protectively against her chest. âItâs personal.â
âCome on,â Gabby pleaded, clasping her hands together dramatically. âIâm your friend! I wonât judge. Promise.â
Y/N sighed, glancing around the room as if gauging whether it was safe. Finally, she opened the notebook to a random page and handed it to Gabby. âFine. But donât make a big deal out of it.â
Gabbyâs grin widened as she flipped through the pages, her eyes scanning the neat but expressive handwriting. Her smile softened as she reached a section filled with short, fragmented lines of poetry.
âThis is beautiful,â Gabby said, her voice quieter now. âYou write poetry?â
âSometimes,â Y/N admitted, her cheeks flushing. âItâs not really a big deal. Just something I do to clear my head.â
âNot a big deal?â Gabby repeated, looking up at her in disbelief. âY/N, this is amazing! Why didnât you tell me you were a poet?â
Y/N shook her head, embarrassed. âBecause Iâm not. Itâs just... bits and pieces. Nothing finished or polished.â
Gabby ignored her protests, flipping through a few more pages before jumping to her feet. âPriya! Come here. You have to see this.â
âGabby!â Y/N hissed, reaching for the notebook, but Gabby danced out of reach, waving it in the air like a prized possession.
Priya wandered over, her eyebrows raised in curiosity. âWhatâs going on?â
âY/Nâs a secret poet,â Gabby declared, holding the notebook out to Priya. âLook at this.â
Y/N buried her face in her hands, groaning. âItâs not a big deal, Priya. Please donâtââ
But Priya was already flipping through the pages, her expression softening as she read. âY/N, this is lovely,â she said after a moment. âYouâve got such a way with words. These are full of emotion and depth.â
Y/N peeked out from behind her hands, her cheeks still pink. âYou really think so?â
âI do,â Priya said firmly, closing the notebook and handing it back to her. âYou have a gift, Y/N. You should share it more.â
âI donât know,â Y/N mumbled, tucking the notebook back into her bag. âItâs just something I do for me.â
Gabby crossed her arms, smirking. âWell, now itâs something you do for all of us, because weâre officially your biggest fans.â
Y/N laughed despite herself, shaking her head. âYouâre impossible.â
As the three of them chatted, CJ stood nearby, packing up his bag. He hadnât meant to eavesdrop, but their conversation had caught his attention. The mention of poetry sent his mind spiraling back to the framed poem on his deskâthe one that had stayed with him all these years.
He glanced over at Y/N, who was laughing as Gabby dramatically proclaimed herself Y/Nâs future manager. CJâs chest tightened slightly, his thoughts drifting to the quiet evening heâd spoken to a lost girl over the phone. He wondered, not for the first time, if the poem and the person in front of him were connected.
Shaking the thought away, he slung his bag over his shoulder and approached the group, his tone light. âWhatâs all the excitement about over here?â
âY/Nâs a poet,â Gabby declared, grinning. âAnd sheâs amazing.â
CJ raised an eyebrow, glancing at Y/N. âA poet, huh? Didnât see that one coming.â
Y/N waved a hand dismissively, still blushing. âItâs nothing, really.â
Gabby shot her a playful glare. âItâs not nothing! Sheâs being modest.â
CJ smiled faintly, his gaze lingering on Y/N for a moment longer than necessary. âWell, Iâd love to read something someday. If youâre ever willing to share.â
Y/N met his eyes briefly, her expression softening. âMaybe. Someday.â
The weight of her words lingered as the group began to disperse, each heading off for the evening. CJ watched Y/N, the faintest flicker of curiosity and something deeper stirring in his chest. Someday, he thought to himself. Maybe someday.
When Y/N turned and walked toward the exit, CJâs eyes followed her until she disappeared through the door. Priya smirked, walking over to him with a knowing look. âYouâve been staring,â she said lightly, setting her mug down on his desk.
CJ blinked, startled out of his thoughts. âWhat? No, I wasnât.â
âYouâre a terrible liar,â Priya said, crossing her arms and raising an eyebrow. âSo, are you going to tell me whatâs going on, or should I just assume youâve got a crush on her?â
CJ sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. âPriya, come on. Itâs not like that.â
âUh-huh,â she said, clearly unconvinced. âLook, Iâve been around long enough to know the signs. You like her, donât you?â
He hesitated, his gaze dropping to his desk as he fiddled with the strap of his bag. âI donât know,â he admitted finally. âMaybe. I mean, sheâs... incredible. Smart, kind, funny. She just... gets it, you know?â
Priyaâs expression softened as she leaned against the desk, her tone gentler now. âSo, whatâs the problem?â
CJ let out a quiet laugh, shaking his head. âThe problem is, I donât know if she feels the same. Sheâs always so focused, so professional. I donât want to assume anything.â
Priya studied him for a moment, then smiled faintly. âCJ, youâre overthinking this. You care about her, and from what Iâve seen, she cares about you too. The way she looks at you, the way she lights up when youâre aroundâitâs not nothing.â
CJ looked up at her, his expression conflicted. âYou really think so?â
âI do,â Priya said firmly. âBut youâre never going to know for sure if you keep holding back.â
He sighed again, running a hand through his hair. âI donât want to mess this up. Sheâs... special.â
Priya smiled, her voice warm. âThatâs exactly why you should trust your instincts. Youâre not the kind of person who rushes into things, CJ. If this feels different, itâs because it is.â
He nodded slowly, her words settling over him like a quiet reassurance. âThanks, Priya.â
âAnytime,â she said, giving his shoulder a light squeeze. âJust donât let your uncertainty stop you from seeing where this could go. Lifeâs too short for that.â
CJ offered her a small smile, the tension in his chest easing slightly. As Priya grabbed her mug and headed for the door, he sat back in his chair, his thoughts lingering on Y/N.
The truth was, he didnât just like herâhe admired her. And that scared him more than he cared to admit. But as he replayed their conversations in his mind, he couldnât help but wonder: Could Priya be right? Could there be something more between them, waiting to be discovered?
For now, all CJ could do was take it one step at a timeâand hope that when the moment came, heâd find the courage to take the leap.

Fantasy High Adventure Time AU: Gods
Yeah, yeah, I'm coming back to this. I should probably start linking everything, but, uh, well... here.
Arthur Aguefort: The man radiates Magic Man energy, I dunno what to tell ya. He's not as sadistic as Magic Man is in canon at first, but he's still an agent of chaos who does what he wants without a lot of regard for others. Ayda is still his daughter, the result of a very brief and spicy affair with the Fire Queen, and he's not strictly a Martian---rather, a human from days past who made it to Mars and achieved immortality. Arthur eventually had to flee to Earth after causing a gigantic ruckus on Mars, and he still feels a lot of guilt from his past mistakes... but it'll take time for him to actually do something about it.
Tectonya Karkovnia: The ruler of Mars and a technical goddess, Tectonya initially welcomed Arthur Aguefort onto Mars, and the two became fast friends. However, once he started delving deeper into his magic-induced madness and fully lost it after a desperate attempt to harness incredible magic to reverse the effects of the Mushroom war, she fully cut ties with him. Now, she's ruling alone, and while she's worshiped heavily on Earth, Tectonya's really just an incredibly overworked person trying to run an entire planet. She may have almost all of the knowledge in the galaxy, but it's still a struggle.
Kalina: Known as the Cosmic Cat, Kalina frequently appears in people's dreams, and her presence is a clear sign that the dream will eventually come true. She's a lot craftier and classier than the Cosmic Owl, though when she speaks in dreams, she's still very blunt about what they mean ("meow, you're a sociopath," "ya blew it, kid," ect). Kalina's essentially your cool aunt who's probably into some shady shit, and she takes her job seriously... for the most part.
Cassandra: She has the mantle of the Wishmaster and is largely regarded as one of the chillest cosmic entities in the multiverse. They're best friends with Kalina and eventually Kristen---kicked off by the first time the Questing Trio came to the Time Room and the discovery that Kristen could use Wish Magic---and has almost a million niche hobbies to fill their admittedly vast spare time. One of those hobbies happens to be writing, and she's made a... sorta incognito world. It manifests as Aelwyn's genderbent fanfiction. Not the most original thing, but they're proud of it.
Gorthalax: Surprisingly, the almighty ruler of the Nightosphere, blessed with the power to devour souls, is a pretty chill and easygoing dude. Over the centuries, he's made several efforts to try and reconnect with Fig---who, for the most part, isn't really having it---and his attempts at reaching her through Adaine has led him to develop a friendship with Penny, who's somehow made friends with every single dark cosmic entity in existence. When Gorthalax isn't managing the Nightosphere, he's either participating in crazy underground fighting matches or rocking it out with Death, and that's pretty much how he likes it. Fig doesn't admit that she thinks that's cool.
Talura: She exists in a null void outside of everything, embodying all that is chaos and discord. But despite the fact that summoning her is a one-way ticket to an apocalypse, there is a consciousness in there, and underneath the frightening exterior and uncontrollable powers is someone who is just plain tired with her role. She wants people to understand that chaos shouldn't mean ruin and destruction, but after one too many times attempting to use her godlike abilities for good and failing, she's resigned herself to being the harbinger of desolation and All That Is Evil. Talura never asked to have the power to cast people to oblivion, yet that was the hand that she was given... and as long as she stays in her void, nothing will come of it. Unless someone's stupid enough to summon her.
The Nightmare King: Purely because they give off identical vibes and look almost exactly alike, I separated the Nightmare King off from Cassandra and made them the Lich. Really, nothing else to add---they're just the Lich with a different name.
Okay, one thing to add---when they're eventually defeated by Guardian Blood and turned into a baby, Kristen names them Lil' Cass (in honor of Cassandra, who at the time was briefly dead) and the Questing Trio gives them to the Thistlesprings to raise. So, yeah, Gorgug has a little sibling who used to be a being of pure evil.

Hi! I am kinda having a writing problem and I want to ask if you can give me some advice. (It's okay if you can't!)
From the beginning Adél has been a character that I struggled with alot (perhaps directly because she's my protagonist, though there could be other factors).
I feel like she serves her purpose in the "book" part of the story well, but I am unable to put her in a situation outside of that, and I don't know how to fix it!
I just wanna be able to get excited about her! Because I like Adél, I really do, but sometimes I get stuck when I try to think about her and it makes me really sad!
Perhaps the best way I can describe the problem is that I am being too "strict" with her. I let the other characters kinda run around and do their thing, but I really struggle to do that with Adél. Like I don't know how to let her out of the initial box that I had for her.
Idk if you noticed it or not, but even when sending you crossover scenarios I talk more about her brothers than her (or if not that, than the scenarios for her brothers are a lot easier to come up with for me). This is what I mean when I say I don't know how to put her in situations outside of the planned book.
The worst part of this all is that in canon Adél's worst fear is that one day all her fears and anxiety will grow so large that she won't be able to do anything, not even move, and I am litteraly making her unable to move in the situations that I come up with! I am unintentionally making her worst fear happen when I try brainstorming for her, and it's not in the good way!
I know how much you love Aiden and since he's your protagonist maybe you have some advice on how I can let Adél be a little freer? How to play around with her more?
Thank you in advance!
Also, I really hope this explanation made at least a little senseđ
It made lots of sense to me! I understand your problem and itâs pretty valid. I felt pretty much the same.
Because while yes, I love Aiden and I have him quite developed now, I had a really hard time shaping him. For the longest time he seemed flat to me, without much of a personality.
I think the problem with main protagonists is that sometimes we as writer focus so much on their task of holding up the story that we forget that they are a person, too, not story tools.
They have hobbies and feelings and plans and dreams outside of the story. Not everything about this character has to serve the progress of the plot. It can be hard to remember that.
To struggle with a character, a main character especially, is pretty normal. They need lots of time and care and constant work.
I think you might really be a bit too âstrictâ with her. Let her run wild once in a while, play around with her a little bit. A character needs to be removed from their story from time to time so that they can grow. I know itâs hard, but like you said, you have to get her out of the box.
Maybe you have a harder time to get AdĂ©l out of there because she as a character is really anxious and might not want to leave her box (which means sheâs already a pretty much alive character with her âown willâ, which is good!), so you have to nudge her a little bit.
Honestly the best way you can do that is with AUs. I know it sounds silly, but as someone with tons of AUs, let me tell you: never before did I learn as much about my characters as in AUs.
(A lot of oc development happened outside of my main story and in AUs. They made me grow more attached to my characters too, I feel like I got closer to them.)
Because those do exactly what I said earlier, they remove the character from their story and thatâs pretty helpful.
The modern au helped me especially, because it confronted me with an important question, one you should ask yourself (if you havenât already):
If AdĂ©l wasnât the protagonist of your story, if she wasnât even in your storyâs setting but just a completely normal teenage girl, how would she be like? What would be her hobbies? Her passions? Her goals in life?
For example, I didnât know a single hobby of Aiden beside archery before I had my modern AU, cause in-story Aiden doesnât have time for hobbies all that much. What doesnât mean he has none. But I only got ideas through the au.
I had to translate them to the old time / fantasy world a bit. Modern AU Aiden is a film geek, so canon Aiden has a love for stories, but not for written ones but told/performed ones.
Or alternatively, how about an AU where AdĂ©l isnât the main protagonist? Think about how her life would be as a minor character or bystander. What would be different about her? Would something be different? Even realizing that sheâd still be the same brings you closer to understand her.
I donât mean that you should make up big and complicated AUs, just that you give some alternate scenarios (and how they would influence AdĂ©l) a thought.
Basically, just play dolls and dress up with her. Have some fun. Try to distance her from the story a bit. Because maybe the plot of your story blocks certain aspects of her that can only be unlocked by putting her somewhere else.
AUs are fun and help build the character. Plus if you keep changing the setting you can see what really makes a character themselves, which traits and such move with them from au to au and which donât.
Something else that might help is do an interview with Adél in your head. Or on paper. Just ask her questions about herself. Or well, ask questions and think about what her answer would be.
Get to know her. Start small.
Little facts like her favorite food or color or animal or her favorite plushie as a kid or anything, really, can make her easier for you to grasp. (Maybe you already know those things, but if not they are worthy to consider).
Or you can get questions from character sheets or get to know me templates. Or more complex questions like âhow would AdĂ©l react if [insert thing here]?â or âwhat would she take with her to a deserted island?â.
(Or yet again a different thing to ask yourself: what will Adél do after the story? Or, regarding your worries about her anxiety, work with that, too. Why does she fear what she fears? Since when? What if this fear actually comes true? What would she be like without that fear?)
What might also help is if you let her interact with the others more, let them drag her into their own âoutside the storyâ adventures.
Like I said in that one post I made, Aiden only ever really talks to me if other characters are around. Maybe AdĂ©l needs a little help getting dragged out of the box. Next time you imagine a scenario for letâs say one of her brothers, let her join.
Letting characters react is sometimes easier than making them do something on their own.
And most importantly, take your time and donât be too hard on yourself. You canât fully know AdĂ©l yet. Thatâs completely okay. (I donât know Aiden fully yet either). Tale your time figuring her out.
You will keep learning things about her as the story develops and progresses. She will grow along with it, trust me. If you adore her, thatâs already enough. The rest will come to you eventually (maybe this answer helps you with it).
Iâm really not good at giving writing advice, but I hope that what I said makes at least a little sense I was able to help you :)
And good luck with AdĂ©l! Sheâs lovely and Iâm sure youâll get to understand her better and help her grow!! ^^
#this was lots of input and not much structure Iâm sorry but I hope I was at least a little helpful#writer speaks#writeblr

My nighttime meds decided not to work last night, so I spent part of my night revisiting my identity. Itâs been about a year since I discovered myself. Dropping out of college and having my mental health being better-ish, I thought it was time to revisit. I found out that Gender Apathetic is also known as Apagender (which I have no idea how to pronounce at the moment).
This is more of a general ranting post (if thatâs the right term). Thereâs only so much that I autistically can talk to myself about, especially when itâs the same conversation over the course of a year. I donât have answers for everything and thereâs only so much Reddit reading that I can do⊠I promise this isnât my autistic hobby. I was doing research on the LGBT for my OCâs, and thatâs how I discovered myself. Now that my characters are mostly developed, I have no use for all the research that I did except for being more aware of other gender identities and learning more about the LGBT community.
Iâm closeted except for online and a few close friends. I donât feel the need to come out to people that I personally know, since I donât feel that my identity causes me any issues. Iâve been way more open about my identity with my closest friend (friends for about 8 years) and vice versa. Because my other two friends are straight and my friend of 8 years is still figuring themselves out; not my story to tell. But theyâre the only other LGBT member that I know, and weâve never interacted with members of the LBGT on a large scale, only close friends or family. My friend has a bit more exposure than me; I have no family that I know of who are LGBT.
I live and grew up in a small town that doesnât have any LGBT groups. There are people from the LGBT community that exist in the small town, but you have to know them to find them.
Yeah, I was excited to finally meet and talk to another member of the LGBT who is from the city. YouTube is great and all, but being autistic it feels better to talk to someone in person or directly to someone in some way. Although, I didnât initiate the conversation that was my friend because I wasnât sure how to bring up the conversation without being too⊠abrasive. Tho I never brought this up with my friend, so I was actually very surprised when they brought up the conversation, but since the conversation it kinda feels like it never happened. It was only a few days ago, almost a week.
This individual is a member of the LGBT, but isnât as active within the community. Theyâre just living their life and being openly LGBT when they want others to know. But if asked any questions regarding who they are, they are not afraid to answer and talk about who they are.
Being able to talk and connect with another member of the LGBT in person, especially outside of our small town, felt really nice. Tho I felt like I was being rude, bombarding them with so many questions, especially ones that I felt could be personal, but they were very polite and open and made sure that all of our questions were answered. They also enjoyed talking and asking me questions about what it is like being gender apathetic and what is pan aro/ace.
Like I mentioned above, my friend was also talking and asking questions, but thatâs not my side to talk about. Just want to clarify that it was a conversation between three people and me and my friendâs identities are different... I wasnât just being asked about my identity, my friend was also talking about theirs.
Honestly, Iâm not sure why Iâm making this post. Kinda just want to talk. Living in a small town can be tough, especially when Iâm autistic and have mild social anxiety. I donât feel like thereâs enough people to just rant to.

So I was thinking about Laris, and how obviously she should dump Picard's ass, because she deserves better.
Then another thought occurred to me: what if "better" was Beverly Crusher?
Hear me out.
For starters, they have so much in common. They've both lost husbands. They're both badasses who've been around the galaxy a few times and seen some shit. They're both healers/nurturers at heart. And they've both been personally victimized by shitty boyfriend Jean-Luc Picard.
There's a tiny bit of tension when they first meet (don't ask me how or when they meet, I haven't figured that out yet), since Beverly is kind of unintentionally the reason Jean-Luc left Laris the last time. Beverly feels bad about it, but Laris is like, I told him to go, and pretty soon they get over that.
They initially bond over some of the things I mentioned earlier - starting with their experiences with Picard, and quickly moving to sharing cool or weird or dangerous stuff they saw out in space that one time. They drink and laugh and bond, and at the end they decide, hey, we should do this again sometime.
Beverly gets back into dance or theater (or both), and Laris takes up some hobby that isn't cleaning up after Picard. They get together for drinks or lunch a few times before Beverly mentions a show, and Laris asks if she can come see it. Beverly is delighted, and manages to get Laris one of the best seats in the house. This soon becomes a regular thing.
(Deanna comes for a girls' weekend one time, and Beverly invites Laris along, and boy does Deanna notice the feelings emanating off of Beverly every time Laris walks into the room. Deanna says nothing at the time, because it's not her business - though she of course spills the tea to Will the second she gets home.)
Beverly and Laris are stargazing and laughing and sipping wine together one evening when Beverly is finally able to recognize the feelings she's been developing for Laris. This takes her aback for a moment, but then she decides, fuck it, I'm not a young woman anymore, I don't have the time or patience to be scared of this. So she kisses Laris. And to no one's surprise, Laris kisses her back.
At first they pretend that this is a no pressure sort of situation. Beverly has her son and her work, and Laris has... something that's also important (seriously, why didn't they give us more for Laris?). But pretty soon they realize that they both want the pressure. They both want the commitment. That's precisely the thing they always wanted from Picard but never got.
Nothing changes drastically between them at first. They were already basically a couple - always spending their free time together, showing up at events together, etc. Now there's just more kissing involved. (Also the sex is incredible.)
They don't try to hide anything, either, because at this point in their lives, what's the point? Most everyone is thrilled for them. It throws Jean-Luc for a bit, to see his two exes dating each other. But it doesn't take that long before he, too, is happy for them.
At some point they decide to get married. It's a quiet and simple affair, with mostly the crew of the Enterprise-D in attendance. To Beverly's delight, even Wesley manages to find the time to show up for his mother's wedding, so she has both her sons there with her. Will Riker officiates, and Data insists on a dance with Beverly during the reception.
Beverly stays at Starfleet for a while, using her new admiralty to pioneer medical relief efforts for the people and planets who need it most - even those outside Starfleet jurisdiction. Sometimes she gets to go off-world to help directly, and usually Laris comes along as well. Laris has a job, too, not with Chateau Picard (somebody come up with something for Laris, I'm begging you). They keep busy with their hobbies, and spending time with friends, and traveling to see all the best parts of Earth.
And sometimes, they just enjoy the peace and quiet of their house in the countryside somewhere. They've been through enough, and sometimes all they need is just to be together.
Though you know they're also looking forward to the grandchildren ;)

additionally i would also like to request for breenie: 6, 18, 19, 27, 30 and 40
06. when did they realize they loved each other?
some background context here, for those who donât know: bree met the boys through her mom and april, in a tiny AU adjustment where aprilâs sister (breeâs mom) pulls a "caseyâs mom" and figures out the boys exist in âthe trouble with augieâ episode. one thing led to another and bree became friends with the four of them. she left an impression on don in particular because upon first meeting them, bree was not scared of them, but instead behaved in an upbeat, warm, and friendly manner, if a bit curiousâall of which they would all come to know as a default setting of hers. she is also a creative person, much like don is, and is passionate about her own creative projects. a combination of all of that plus her becoming familiar and affectionate with them in little time contributed to donâs own growing affections and observations about how cute and pretty he thinks she is⊠and it only got âworseâ from there. actual photo of don realizing he has a crush (rest in pieces, nerd):
as for bree⊠she first related to him on a deeper and more personal level because she empathizes with the concept of hyper-fixations and needing outlets for her creativity and âalone timeâ to cater to those needs. her and don initially really bonded over that, but she also grew to appreciate how he would always listen to her and validate her thoughts and feelings outside of that stuff, too. not a lot of people outside of family have really been like that for her⊠and who wouldnât develop a huge crush on the soft-spoken nerdy boy with a heart of gold who is a great listener?
18. what song fits them perfectly?
like leomin, i donât really have one specific song that i think suits bree and don perfectly. but some songs that i associate with them are: âa sky full of starsâ by coldplay, âsimply the bestâ by the hound + the fox, and âscience & faithâ by the script.
19. how do they deal with being away from each other for a long time?
pretty well most of the time! theyâre both introverted af and get pretty deep into their respective work. theyâre definitely a âhas plenty to do when theyâre not togetherâ sort of couple. donnie with his science-ing and his engineering and inventions, and bree with her art and her hobbies and socializing with her (human) school friends. and then they get to talk all about it once they meet up again, and itâs a great time for both of them. they could go maybe a week or two without seeing each other, but that would be breeâs personal limit before she invades the lair without warning a sprints a straight line towards donâs lab to hug him for ten minutes straight (everyone gET OUT OF HER WAYâ)
27. what random everyday object/activity makes them think of each other?
some things that makes don think of bree: paint (the sight and smell of it) and paint brushes; art supplies in general. apple cider. the stars. aquariums. the color yellow. quirky little knick-knacks. snails and platypuses (some of her favorite animals). sweet, citrus smells. almost anything that glows in the dark or changes colors (i.e. glow in the dark stars you put on walls and ceilings, mood rings, etc). some things that makes bree think of don: computer parts. the sight and smell of coffee. tools. the smell of gasoline. the color purple. circuit boards. submarines. text books and how-to books. math and science homework. car parts. computers. goggles. going to garage sales or yard sales (she almost always buys something for him at one of those!)
30. what is their favorite place to kiss the other? (cheek, hand, closed eyelid, neck, nose, etc.)
bree looooves giving cheek and nose kisses, especially dozens of butterfly kisses at once. don also really likes to kiss her on her cheek, as well as along her jawline, the corners of her mouth, and her earlobes, because they're easy to reach when they're standing up (bree is slightly taller than him), and the latter makes her giggle.
40. who makes the other smile with almost no effort at all?
bree is very, very good at this, and not just with don. but since this is about the two of them: bree understands that sometimes, distractions can be better for your mental health on the short-term. so on bad days, she will talk his ear off about her day, or her current paintings, or she will read something to him for a while, like a book or a graphic novel. and it almost never fails to make don smile.

hey there! Iâm sending info for the match exchange :0
* pronouns: she/her
* interested in being shipped with the boys
* hobbies: singing in a band, reading fantasy novels, taking long naps, collecting things like stickers/journals/postcards, drawing, crocheting
* i'm an INFJ Ravenclaw (super slay)
* personality time! (oh gosh)
* i'm the type of person that people regard as being very well adjusted but honestly i'm having a mental breakdown most of the time.
* i'm a deeply empathetic person, i care a lot about others and sometimes i forget to care for myself because of it. if someone i care about is in trouble, or needing my help, i will drop everything i'm doing to assist them. i also love sending care packages and letters to people.
* i have taken in many of my friends throughout my life because they needed a place to stay. unfortunately, this aspect of my personality has also led to me being scorned many times (i see the good in people and tend to overlook the bad).
* BECAUSE of that scorn though, i have developed some trust issues.
* on the flip side of my sensitive/kind nature, i can be very feisty. when i'm frustrated i just want to beat up something, and i become very passionate towards injustice. my friends say i'm like a kitten with a knife.
* additionally, i would consider myself a brave person. I don't struggle to have hard conversations with people (i don't like them but I'll do it), I've stood up to every bully I've ever had, and I've asked out every crush. unfortunately, this has led to me being rejected multiple times (contributing to my sense of no one ever being able to love me)
* due to my trust issues and rejections, i tend to feel like an outsider in most of my friend groups. it can be very lonely.
* TO FINISH IT OFF (this has become too long), i would consider myself a wise/intelligent person (i give good advice), resilient, but also easy going.
* i'm a words of affirmation girlie, so i would love in a relationship to feel supported and welcome when i often don't feel accepted in a space.
* i also would love someone who doesn't mind me going on about my hyperfixations for hours (which i will do when i get comfortable).
* i'm also very touch starved but i will never initiate it (i like when my friends hug me but i will never go to hug them first).
hope that information was helpful! i realize i sound crazy
hey! Thanks for the patience and hereâs you match ups!!!
For Avatar; the last airbender, I match you up with Zuko!
trust issues; am I right?
but no, he needs someone, like now.
he is also very touched starved but is to much of a dork to take your hand on his own so you will need to do it for him(we all know he is thinking it)
he will tell you horrible jokes and misses the punch line most of the time, but he wants to make you laugh.
very protective, wants to always be with you (especially if you are part of team avatar/boomerang)
for Harry Potter, I match you up with Draco Malfoy!
âŠ.what can I say⊠it works
you are definitely to good of an influence on him that his father hates you⊠but I donât think his mom will mind to much.
you definitely make him think about his choices and the death eaters and you make him question if he wants that life or a different with you.
thinks âPottah!â Is trying to steal you⊠and every other guy at hogwarts if they talk to you so he is a bit jealous.
will show off his magic skills to you
and for Marvel, I match you up with Steve Rogers!
He is 100% gonna make you feel safe, and loved, and like he is the man to trust.
he is the definition of the perfect man if I say so
likes watching you sing and if you are just singing to him he will try and join you
keeps you as far away from his hero work as he can(if you donât want to be a hero)
100% used to collect post cards as well so this can be your shared hobbie.
thanks for your patience and I hope you liked it!

hey there! i'm interested in getting option 2 for the 1.5k event. i would love the vampire diaries/the originals fandom.
pronouns: she/her
interested in being shipped with the boys
hobbies: singing in a band, reading fantasy novels, taking long naps, collecting things like stickers/journals/postcards, drawing, crocheting
i'm an INFJ Ravenclaw
i'm a very short redhead with blue gray eyes. common people i'm told i look like: lucy hale, florence pugh, hailee steinfeld, danielle campbell
personality time! (oh gosh)
i'm the type of person that people regard as being very well adjusted but honestly i'm having a mental breakdown most of the time.
i'm a deeply empathetic person, i care a lot about others and sometimes i forget to care for myself because of it. if someone i care about is in trouble, or needing my help, i will drop everything i'm doing to assist them. i also love sending care packages and letters to people.
i have taken in many of my friends throughout my life because they needed a place to stay. unfortunately, this aspect of my personality has also led to me being scorned many times (i see the good in people and tend to overlook the bad).
BECAUSE of that scorn though, i have developed some trust issues.
on the flip side of my sensitive/kind nature, i can be very feisty. when i'm frustrated i just want to beat up something, and i become very passionate towards injustice. my friends say i'm like a kitten with a knife.
additionally, i would consider myself a brave person. I don't struggle to have hard conversations with people (i don't like them but I'll do it), I've stood up to every bully I've ever had, and I've asked out every crush. unfortunately, this has led to me being rejected multiple times (contributing to my sense of no one ever being able to love me)
due to my trust issues and rejections, i tend to feel like an outsider in most of my friend groups. it can be very lonely.
TO FINISH IT OFF (this has become too long), i would consider myself a wise/intelligent person (i give good advice), resilient, but also easy going.
i'm a words of affirmation girlie, so i would love in a relationship to feel supported and welcome when i often don't feel accepted in a space.
i also would love someone who doesn't mind me going on about my hyperfixations for hours (which i will do when i get comfortable).
i'm also very touch starved but i will never initiate it (i like when my friends hug me but i will never go to hug them first).
hope that information was helpful! i realize i sound crazy
hi!
thanks for participating :)
i ship you with stefan!
i know damon is more of the collector type, but i feel like stefan is too when it comes to sentimental things. a lot of things he could collect would have bad memories attached to them if he got them in one of the periods his humanity was off. but, when he saw how much you liked collecting things, heâd attach new memories to them. heâd gift little things to you if you expressed interest in them, i totally think one of his love languages is gift giving.
stefan is also a really empathetic person. heâs directly protective of the ones he loves, and heâd admire that youâre the same way. he feels a lot for the people he cares for, even taking on their feelings as his own. heâd see that you felt as deeply as he did, and it would bring you closer together. knowing the signs of a breakdown because heâs all too used to having them himself, heâd be especially helpful for when you felt overwhelmed and anxious. and heâd know he could lean on you when he felt the same, knowing you were one of the only people who truly understood the complexity of those feelings.
hot take, but i think stefan is a glass half empty kind of guy. heâs has too much happen to him in his life to remain entirely optimistic. he puts on a good front, but youâd be able to see right through it. heâs quick to think of the worst case scenarioâthe good part of that being heâs always prepared to deal with it. and while he can he incredibly patient, he also has a short temper. but around you, heâd learn to control it. youâd make him feel like it was ok to try and have a better outlook on his life and circumstances.
heâd understand that life has made you a little reserved when it comes to learning to trust people. and heâd feel extra special when you let him in and let yourself be vulnerable with him. heâd also 100% be down to be with you and away from the group. while he enjoys hanging out with friends, heâd much rather be alone with you. when you needed a day to recharge, heâd be happy to give you it. but heâd never let you shut him out, and heâd never let you feel lonely. youâd be stuck with him for better or worse. quality time is another love language of his. heâd find it so endearing when youâd ramble on about your hobbies and interests. no matter what they were or how much he was or wasnât interested in them, heâd be content to hear about them just because you enjoy them. and heâd be happy to join you with them.
i donât think physical touch is that important to stefan. while heâd certainly enjoy hugging you and holding your hand and being close, he doesnât need to. heâd never want to do anything that made you uncomfortable, and heâd be content just being in the same room as you. but heâd also be able to sense when you needed a hug, even if you didnât ask for one. heâs so good with words, heâd make you feel comfortable enough to initiate touch with him yourself if you wanted to.
â
one perk of being a vampire nearly two centuries old is the sheer amount of journals heâd been able to collect over the years. one day, heâd take you to the library in the house full of books from various time periods. heâd show you a small section off in a corner that damon never bothered venturing over to full of leather bound journalsâsome filled, some empty. heâd pull a almost entirely blank one off the shelf, handing it to you.
heâd smile as you looked at him in amazement, gently flipping through the pages. âwhere did you get this? itâs beautiful.â
âchicago, 1929,â heâd recall, flipping it over to show you the initials carved into the spine. âi had a loft above this speakeasy there. it was left on the counter one night after close, and no one came to claim it. the bartender was about to throw it away before i got to it.â
youâd open the journal once more, your brows furrowing as you looked at the front page. âjust this page was written in. and this isnât your handwriting, so it must be from whoever left it behind. why didnât you rip out this page and start it over? you kept it with you all these years just to never use it?â
heâd chuckle, glancing up at the shelf of journals tucked away. âi never needed to. i had plenty of others to use. it seemed like a waste.â
âwhy not throw it away if you planned on never using it?â youâd ask, holding it out for him to take.
âi donât know. maybe i was waiting for the right person to come along. youâd certainly get more use out of it than me.â
your eyes would light up, making him smile. âyouâre giving it to me?â
heâd nod, his eyes softening on you as you beamed up at him.
âbaby, you could have the whole shelf if you wanted it.â
â
i donât love how this turned out but iâm sleep deprived and i donât wanna make you wait any longer, so here you go! i promise iâll write something better next time if youâre here for 1.7k lol. thank you again for participating! i hope you enjoyed this :)

Hi, apologies in advance if this is something you can't give advice on but your blog seems like a really safe space for bi people and you're so full of knowledge, and I just love your blog a lot.
Anyway I (f) realised I was bi during a long-term relationship with a male, the relationship ended a year ago and I'm trying to get myself out there to meet new people and new friends in the community but I don't know really how to do that? I don't think I know the first thing about starting to try and date women and I think after repressing who I am for so long I don't know where I fit in the community. Do you have any advice? X
Finding community and dating as a bisexual person can be hard sometimes. It's really easy to get in your head about things.
Personally, I'm decently introverted and not much of a party person, so I try to balance putting myself out there while also not going too far outside my comfort zone. Its important to look for community in places that will sustain you, not burn you out. If you are at all religious, I highly recommend finding a lgbtq centered congregation as I've found great, intergenerational community that way. I would also seek out your local lgbtq organizations social media for events and opportunities. I found a lgbtq d&d group through Facebook that I was a part of for a couple years before I moved away. Whatever your hobbies and interests are, seek out lgbtq communities through them. Look for things that are either through video/voice chat (like a virtual book club) or in person.
Don't beat yourself up if you are having trouble finding things or forming deep connections with others. It's hard to develop those.
As for dating... I highly recommend reexamining your past relationships with men and asking yourself what you liked about those relationships and what you did in them because that's what was expected of you as a woman dating a man. Who picked up the bill? Who initiated romantic gestures and who was the recipient? Who initiated sex and took the lead during? Who did domestic work like cooking if you co-habitated? This is going to help you when you date women but also in any future relationships with men.
This is a great time to also reasses your relationship to gender and gender roles in general. I know for me embracing bisexuality meant embracing gender noncomformity (though that may not be the case for you) .
There's no one way of being bisexual, so don't worry too much about being bisexual in the right way. I wish you the best as you grow and develop your bisexual identity! It can be a scary/nerve-racking process at times, but it's such a worthwhile journey.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT QâS
QUESTION ONE:Â were you born on the island, if so, what kind of curiosities do you have about the world beyond? if you werenât, what do you miss about the world outside veritas isles?Â
They definitely do, though they are one of the fortunate few that was able to leave, they didn't get the chance to see nearly enough of what they had hoped. They now miss the freedom & the ability to see new films at her fingertips, that and just the movie world in general was a lot grander in the outside world.
QUESTION TWO:Â what is your favorite part about the island?Â
The cinema, of course. Beyond that, wherever friends are hanging out.
QUESTION THREE:Â if your character is supernatural, do they fear humans? if human, do they fear the supernatural?Â
Hmm, not anymore, though they certainly had hesitations about them at some point in their life. Especially due to how Neo's father's family responded to him marrying a wixen.
QUESTION FOUR: share a fun headcanon or fact about your character! this doesnât have to be long, just something to introduce us to your character!Â
From a young age, Neo found solace in the flickering lights of the silver screen, watching as stories unfolded before their eyes. Their parents' commitment to the cinema only fueled Neo's growing enthusiasm, and they spent hours absorbing the magic and allure of film. Their childhood was a tapestry of movie nights under the stars, curled up in the theater seats, and playing among the rows of film reels. She ended up staying longer than intended as she grew to love Los Angeles, she even debated never returning to Veritas Isles, but unfortunately she received word that her father had fallen ill, so without hesitation, she of course has returned.
ADDITIONAL HEADCANON
Despite Neo's strong ties to the world of cinema and her unwavering passion for storytelling, there's a part of her that feels like an outsider to the magical tapestry of her lineage. Born into a family that has run the town's cinema for generations, Neo's magical heritage often feels distant and intangible. While the island's enchantment is woven into every corner, Neo grapples with a disconnect, a yearning to bridge the gap between her human experiences and the ancient mysticism that echoes through her blood.
WANTED CONNECTIONS.
friends from before she moved
people she met while in L.A. / traveling around
perhaps the person that told her of her father?
someone that's helping her with her magic
family friends
someone from the rogue pack, perhaps that sort of talks highly of it...

Blog Post: Convention
In my early high school experience, from the 9th grade to the 10th grade I was apart of my schoolâs Anime Appreciation club. It wasnât exclusive to anime, and it was actually called Animation Nation. While I was not very familiar with anime at the time, this place served as a safe space with other students who had interests that deviated from what was seen as the norm. As someone who has played a lot of video games before, I was aware of the intersection between people who were âgamersâ and âanimeâ fans and this inspired me to take a chance and begin submersing myself into the world of Japanese entertainment. I have always dealt with a lot of social anxiety and for awhile I struggled with integrating myself into social groups and functions with the rest of my peers in high school. When I found Animation Nation, I found a place that I could feel comfortable in. I didnât have to worry about being judged for getting into anime, I didnât have to worry about whether or not my interests were too weird. My experience in Animation Nation reminds me of Genshiken (Part 1).
My experience in this club gave me a strong understanding of youth culture, because as a 13/14-year-old it was imperative to learn the importance of community and how to find it. My time as a teenager was full of insecurity, and as a middle schooler I personally felt like I took everyoneâs opinions to heart and there was a point in time where other peopleâs views on my interests and hobbies affected me and made me feel shame. So by finding community centered around my interests, in this specific example years later in Animation Nation, it allowed me to explore an interest of mine in an environment without judgement or shame.
In Genshiken (Part 1), while it centers the lives of university students, they are still collectively treated as like an outsider due to their participation in âOtakuâ culture. Despite being alienated from their peers, they all found a sense of community and belonging with each other. This is what mirrored my experience as a member of Animation Nation, and greatlyïżœïżœ shaped my perspective on youth culture. Additionally, I think thereâs something to be said that when someone is in an environment they feel comfortable in, itâs easier for them to grow as they navigate their personal identity. I didnât feel any shame in the few times that I had either attempted to cosplay a popular anime, or video game character, or even just dressing up in a way that I felt expressed my identity, because I was in an environment where I was supported unconditionally by the people that I was with.
In Genshiken (Part 2), the friendships that were made in (Part 1) by the characters transition from college to adult life friendships. When I compare this to my own personal experience, many of the initial friendships that I formed during my time in Animation Nation gave me a sense of belonging that extended beyond my time in the club itself. I realized that this community was not just about shared interests, but also about mutual support and understanding, which was crucial in helping me develop a stronger sense of self during a formative period of my life. Many of these people are still people that I keep in contact with today.
Not only did being apart of an anime fandom/ anime oriented organization help me feel comfortable in myself, it allowed me to try new things and step out of my comfort zone. Had I not experimented with makeup and cosplaying a couple of times in early high school I donât think I wouldâve learned the basics of doing my makeup until much later in life or developed the confidence to model, and wear experimental fashion in college. Navigating oneâs culture identity in the face of adversity allows one to fully be confident in themselves and their own skin.

Iâm not trying to be an ass but for me personally, if itâs non stop combat I donât feel like Iâm playing any other role than myself, the same as if I was playing a video game. Something like playing overwatch and saying âIâm playing the role of supportâ or âIâm playing the siren in Borderlandsâ feels profoundly different to text based roleplay for example where Iâm developing a character with a friend who is also developing a character responding to the world. I donât think itâs âinferiorâ or whatever, I have hundreds of hours on all three of those things, but I do think everyone is free to have their own definition of what constitutes a shift from the self (however, even RPGs generally have dialogue options and story based choices). Itâs not that one is better than the other itâs just that they feel like two very different activities. I donât really think thatâs a fair position to mock, unless Iâm missing something.
In the table Iâm at people just click their attacks and then it passes through initiative count, nobody really talks except the DM or if we try to we are reminded âyou only have 6 secondsâ. I donât know if thatâs the universal experience, but thats what Iâm thinking of as a pure combat approach. But for me itâs not comparable (not in quality, just in âthis has few shared characteristicsâ) even to a solo RPG, or even writing combat encounters with a friend which might have some element of choice or characterisation. In the combat situations Iâm in, Iâm not acting the part of any other person, Iâm just trying to make sure nobody else dies because of me making a stupid decision. Thereâs no relationship between the characters to speak of, weâre over 50 hours in and no more than names and aesthetics have really emerged from that because it just pretty much goes âDM sets scene. Roll initiative. Combat.â However I do have another campaign which has a bit more social base to work from and in that Iâd say there is a bit more of an element where the combat reflects the characters and their choices within combat come from them because they have a chance to have some sort of relationships and personality outside it. I have a preference towards that sort of separation from self, so I always enjoy combat in that one.
However even if that wasnât the case, the fact people have different preference levels towards them should be a good indicator that we are looking at two different activities. The same way people who come under the artist umbrella might have different feelings towards traditional art, digital art and sculpting. Theyâre all art but theyâre different categories of it. Even if we were to class the above as a form of ârole playâ itâs clear thereâs some sort of division of the category happening. And like any hobby, yes that doesnât mean one is better than the other, traditional art is not objectively better than digital art, combat roleplay is not objectively better than social roleplay. But I think it is fair to say they are different things and people will hold different preference levels towards each thing. Iâm getting away from the point of the main post here (unintentionally) but admittedly my tags were more a note to myself while I reflected on my personal experience and definitions of what constitutes roleplay.
look, I get what you're saying, but have you considered that dungeon-crawling is not an activity that befits a true roleplayer and only something that would attract stupid dumb babies who are stupid and can't roleplay, and that any moment you're in combat would be better spent writing an elaborate backstory for your cool elf, and that me saying this is not reflective of any elitism?

Jennifer for the character opinion bingo?
Firstly, thank you for the ask, and thank you for your patience! I apologize for getting behind on my asks - life's been a little hectic, but I always enjoy answering these fun little games!
It's impossible to talk about Jennifer without talking about the remake, so please bear with me. đ
Jennifer is an interesting character to me. I like and dislike her all at once. When they first announced that a new bachelorette was going to be released for the remake of Mineral Town, I, like many fans, was stoked and keeping my eyes peeled for Aja or Joanna to reappear. When neither of them appeared and instead, we got Jennifer, I was a little miffed, and honestly, I think I let it ruin my initial impression of her.
My main complaint with the new characters that have been added is that they don't interact much with the existing cast, so they have a tendency to feel a little disjointed from the rest of Mineral Town. I felt this way about Jennifer for her first couple of friendship events. I was a little mad that they went with a character into natural healing and having the initial introduction for her being a little insulting. I mean, if you were into metaphysical studies and asked someone how they felt about it, and the "good response" was "my chakras are TOTALLY aligned" it sounds a little patronizing. As someone who is married to someone who studies these kinds of things and practices a little bit myself, Jennifer comes off as incredibly fake. If the developers had actually put a little research into Jennifer's hobbies, I think she would have been a better character.
Her way of speaking and eccentric manner also adds to that hippie cliché that isn't exactly flattering. Naming a lake Isabella? She felt like a joke character at times. Don't get me started on "splendiferous".
I did enjoy her event with Lillia where she brings her some potpourri. It's one of the few times she interacts with others. She also has an event with Harris that I thought was pretty cute. There is potential there, but I really feel like they didn't allow her to reach it. She does have a backstory outside of Mineral Town, but I wish it had tied more with her other events. Maybe I'm just looking at her the wrong way and I'm bitter that Aja didn't return?
I ended up writing a fanfiction piece with her in it, and as I tried writing her, I actually found that she was... charming? Suddenly, "beautiferous" wasn't quite as groan-worthy - it gave me a giggle more than anything else. Again, I thought of her event with Lillia where she explained the difference between being kind and being nice, and that was the key. It really said a lot about her, and how she is trying to fit in with a new community. She didn't feel welcome where she was at home, and she was determined to start a new life. She knows she's in a tightly-knit community that she wasn't born into. When I looked at it from that point of view, things got a lot more interesting.
I found that I had to struggle to keep Jennifer from completely stealing the show from Gray, who was the main character in that story. I discovered that she was a lot of fun to write, and I enjoyed putting my own spin on her.
Did they drop the ball on her events, focusing on her more "eccentric" qualities than her actual personality? In my opinion, yes. Did they give her a place of her own in Mineral Town? Not really - I feel like they slapped her in there and hoped for the best. Do I wish the development team would have put more time into actually improving more parts of the "remake" (let's be honest, this is more of a remaster) than try to make more characters? Yes. Am I being whiny and do I have nostalgia goggles on? Sure. But do I feel like Jennifer deserved better? Definitely.
Thank you for your ask, and I hope you enjoyed reading my ramblings on Jennifer. I congratulate you if you read this all the way to the end, and I hope you have a great day. đ
