Welcome back! I would like to ask for a rules clarification please. Let's say I have ivy, gleeful spellthief and another non-human creature on the battlefield. I cast another creature for it's mutate cost, which triggers ivy's ability, copying the mutating creature, targeting her. My question is, is the ivy created copy considered a token for the purposes of token doublers like adrix and nev?

When Ivy copies a permanent spell, e.g. mutate spell or an aura, she copies that spell on the stack. The copy of the spell will resolve before the original and then enter the battlefield.

It will enter the battlefield as a token, but that token isn't being created in the same way that tokens normally are and so effects like Adrix and Nev that look for tokens to be created won't apply to it.

The copy of the spell enters the battlefield as a token out of necessity. Objects on the stack can exist without a card representing them since this is how all activated and triggered abilities work, but once an object enters the battlefield, it has to have a physical representation either as a card or as a token. Since there's no card, then a copy of a permanent spell must therefore be a token even if it's not created like most other tokens.

I play adrix and nev, so most of my tricks are just creature go wide, but I have a real emphasis on copy effects, esp those that let me “steal” other peoples shit. So thats something at least?

Adrix and Nev, Twincasters is a mythic rare from some Commander thing.

Both blue and green get cloning, ironically blue gets it more despite being the weakest creature colour(on paper). Green generally only gets to do this when associating with blue, though. Shame. This is one of those gold cards which could be hybrid, but at a higher cost. So the gold here is getting your total mana value down. Also can we talk about these merfolk? I had to kinda look at the typeline to see that they were merfolk. They coulda just been humans with a dye-job by looking at them. Wizards, stop being cowards, bring back tailed merfolk.

Tiga Dua

Pagi ini mblonteng2 I muka maris pake bedak karena pingin liat stylenya mamak2 kalo abis mandiin anak. 2 bocil mainan depan rumah manjat2 mobil, tau2 ario nyeletuk, “bapak, kok nisa ga pernah dateng lagi”. Tak sempein lah ke nenek, gayung bersambut. Nenek langsung wa mbak yanti, mamak nisa langsung lah berangkat nenek & ario.

Gojek sudah dateng, klasik bonario tau2 nangis alesan minta bawa sepeda & naik mobil aja. Kayaknya sih dia panik takut, mau diculik kali. Ini juga yang kesel dari ajaran ibuk, suka nakutin anak2. niatnya biar tidur siang, tapi yo ga nakutin anak juga keles. Jadinya trauma.

Sampe sana, kegirangan ario. Suasana kampung, masih tanah liat gitu. Rumah nisa ada  di kampung jabi, kabil. Kata nenek lagi banyak bego, sedang ada pembangunan, rumahnya nisa rencananya juga bakal kena gusur. Untungnya udah persiapan beli kapling. Yap, rayat dibawah emang terbiasa neriman dengan keadaan. Dulu pernah ngalamin sih tinggal di ruli.

Hari ini mbuh masih ga produktip aja, kayaknya kalo kenak shot cycle & crowd pula, jadi rada nge slow, mungkin bawannya males juga kalik. Dah gitu masih aja browsing2 sepeda, pake sok2an tanya sepeda ke pak heri, lewat bang wenk pula. Lagi2 ke bacritan, haha. Dulu udah dengan pede mau beli sepeda surly bilang ke mas ijul, dapet thr beli, taunya wacana, haha. Ya emang, kl beli jg maksa, sepedanya ga murah. Tau dah, kepake apa engga juga kl dah beli. Nadzar dah, kalo naik asup beli surly. Biar semangat menguli, haha

Makan sore kali ini nongkrong bersama, sr produser, eka dan bojo, mas febri dan tipen, plus bocah2 saya di uca, ada adrix, treya & alidafo. Ngebahas uca dan ngegojlokin adric. Setelahnya, menarik juga sih bahasannya. Berkutat dengan beratnya pekerjaan kantor, tipen palagi, lembur & nginep udah lekat sama dia. Bolak-balik ngeluh pingin resign kata mas fe, tapi kayaknya doi udah terjebur dikehidupan cicilan dan mau menikah, dah lah. Niqmati sajahh hahah.

Juga, disentil aku yang bakal naik asup untuk prepere. Dulu jaman masih jr sampai senior, yang dipikir cuman ngelarin kerjaan, pulang dan libur. Untuk dijabatan tertentu emang berasa sih, tanggung jawabnya udah beda. Kalo udah ditugasi untuk hit deadline, apapun kondisi, mau hujan badai juga kudu fight gimana carinya kelarin itu kerjaan. Dan sejalan dengan buku yang ku baca, leader eat last, orang kalo dikasih tanggung jawab malah bekerja lebih giat dan ada tujuan. Kerasa sih, dulu pas naik lead di project mbm. Mind set udah berubah.

Malemnya pulang kerja, adek muntah. Mana tadi makannya banyak kata mama, sayang bet dek2. terus masih gemes ama tai kupingnya ario yang susah banget dicongkel, padahal udah kelihatan. Kuping kirinya tadi udah berhasil. Nah tinggal kuping kanan ini, syulith. Baru masuk dikit, palanya udah gerak2 dan dia bilang kesakitan.

Jam segini, dia minta makan & sambil nonton. Udah jadi kebiasaan ini kalo di cir. Rapi ya bapak juga jadi ada waktu untuk nulis ini. Hiya..
