Creating some kind of fucked up soap opera between metal and mecha in my head
#unfortunate spoilers for one of the asks i guess but i dont think anyone gives a shit#spoken as someone whos never seen a soap opera. mecha just fucking hates his guts [his gears?] so bad#canonically speaking they shouldn't be around at the same time but its like 10 million bajillion times more fun to make them coexist#and there wasnt that big a gap between s3&k and cd anyway so we can just say mecha hasnt been destroyed yet. its ok#would eggman have made another sonic ripoff if mecha is still there. probably not but thats not the principle here#this is abt character exploration and their roles are plenty different enough to justify it for my own sakes#have most definitely fallen in the hole a bit. as is wont to happen i suppose
