This is such a typical reaction for Miles. He considers his trauma something childish that he should've gotten over by now simply with time. He tries to reason with his fears as if they're something you could logically argue against. No wonder he's always so embarrassed whenever he struggles with it and hates other people seeing him this "weak". Even when alone he's angry at himself for hesitating. He doesn't want to talk about it with anyone and always tries to lie, when he can get away with it, and pretend it's not as bad as it is. He puts so much pressure on himself to just handle it and it makes it so much worse.

anwyas calisto yew brainrot!! tbh i like her more when shes yew like idk... as shih-na shes kinda boring ngl and shes not NEARLY as funny in the present even when she does reveal that theyre the same person

the stupid sunglasses gag with lang is hilarious though like what are those 💀

no but actually shes hysterical and her laughter is infectious she literally never fails to make me laugh with her

also i love that it seems to be genuine?? like its not the typical "mwhahahahaha im evil" or "hehehe im planning something devious" like shes actually laughing at edgeworth whatever she finds funny because she genuinely thinks its absurd or hilarious or whatever and i LOVE that as a character quirk

i havent gone back to aai1 let alone i-4 in SO LONGG tbh might get the collection to play aai again(or maybe not.... idk if i can get through i-3 without throwing myself out of a window)

in conclusion bring her back capcom you cowards /j

and she's the one who started everything! calisto posing as her sister, badd being so affected by not being able to protect them, the yatagarasu literally forming as a direct result of her death!! we don't even KNOW her! no one knows her!

and even years later! edgeworth only being able to use the trump card as proof because it has HER blood on it!! the only way to show that it's the same card as back then! edgeworth bringing the entire smuggling ring to justice and unknowingly following in her footsteps!

she was AT MOST 19 when she died! the youngest murder victim in the entire series!

just finished playing AAI1 and maybe Im just very easy to please but I dont quite get why Ive seen people say it isnt good?

I found it to be a very fun change of pace from the main games. I really enjoyed how every case felt really relevant and fit together very well to create a whole picture.

I was very excited to spend so much time with franziska, one of my very favorite characters from the franchise! I especially loved the case where her and edgeworth were younger. there were so many good sibling moments in that one.

I liked having edgeworths pov. I like that he is such a dork. I will admit that Logic is not the most interesting mechanic tho. sometimes I would find it frustrating bc I have the 3rd conclusion in my head so Im trying to put thoughts together too early. but thats a normal ace attorney thing thats not dissimilar to trying to present evidence in the wrong order.

I enjoyed the new characters, especially Kay and Lang. I really like both of their relationships and interactions with edgeworth. I felt so protective of kay and really wanted to watch her succeed. I enjoy that lang is somehow extremely cool and extremely cringe simultaneously. but tbh the coolest people arent afraid to be a bit cringe I think.

oh I also really liked detective badd. I enjoyed the one animation where he takes the lollipop out of his mouth like its a cig

i've mentioned it before, but i actually hate the new/official names in aai2 so much. they all feel so forced and its in a way that i personally find frustrating rather than cute.

maybe it's just because i'm so used to the fan translation, but names like "eustace winner" and "verity gavelle" and even "eddie fender" (one of the few that i actually do think is good) just feel so...mouthy, i guess? wordy?? like, its just a lot of syllables in one name and i can't help but feel like they did that because the simpler, better names were already taken by the fan translation. it makes the new names really stand out compared the rest of the series in a way that i find really strange.
