Begging non aspec people to understand that just because two characters don't fuck doesn't mean they aren't very much in love with each other. You can be in love without wanting to get in the other person's pants. This isn't a hard concept to grasp.

Fandom when there are 2 traumatised characters but one of them is like Mega Mess traumatised so they pick up on that and ignore character 2’s more subtle presentations of their trauma until character 2 does something that’s unpleasant but makes PERFECT SENSE if you understand their personality and trauma and then suddenly character 2 is evil and demonic and should never ever ever have been trusted (especially if it negatively impacts character 1 anyway)

I just generally don't get the fandom impulse to look at a complicated well written fictional interpersonal conflict and instead of analysing what drives the characters to act the way they did instead of engaging and trying to tease out the nuance and the gaps between what was meant and said, reducing it to a determination of who was "right" and who was "wrong". What sad empty little lives you must lead.

So you ever see Cherry Wine or The Moon Will Sing on ship playlists and by the context of the rest of the playlist you realize whoever made this sees these songs as cute and/romantic and you’re overcome with this concern wondering whether or not the playlist maker simply didn’t listen to most of the lyrics or they actually think these are “love songs” in the cute way and hope DESPERATELY it’s the former?
