L's internal monologue:
Darling, if you measured good and evil deeds by current laws, I would be responsible for many crimes, however, nothing would be more unjust than not rescuing you from your loveless marriage. Yes, your husband is a courageous and hard-working task force member, but he's also a neglectful piece of shit towards you.
He doesn't even know your sleep schedule or how many cups of coffee you've ordered in the past three months, is he even aware that your birthday is in 70 hours, 16 minutes and 43 seconds? My love, you're just like a beautiful puzzle and every day my cameras and private investigators find more precious pieces.
Nothing is of greater importance than you Y/N, I love you so much. I feel like such a creep but I don't care, I have never cared, everything in life is a game including love, and I have never lost, why? Because I am fucking L.
Present Day, (your birthday):
You slowly open your heavy eyelids to find yourself in a well-furnished bedroom decorated with expensive decor and silk curtains and bedding. Your head was pounding and your limbs were weak, were you drunk? Did your friends bring you here to rest after you fainted during your birthday party?
You immediately panicked when you realised you were restrained to the bed across from a crouched, pale man with dark, piercing eyes. It was your husband's supervisor on the Kira investigation, Ryuzaki.
You were merely acquaintances since you only visited the headquarters to drive your husband home or to bring baked goods for your husband and his co-workers. He was odd and reserved however he always praised your cooking and never failed to impress you with his intelligence. You felt sympathy for him since your husband told you he was basically a lonely workaholic. Your husband even joked that maybe he had a crush on you since he gazed upon you like his cake and cases; with desire and fascination, (lolololololol).
You could only think of one logical explanation for why you were here with him.
"Ryuzaki! Do you suspect that I'm Kira!? Is that why I'm here?!" you cried, "No" L responded flatly. "Then what's happening? Where am I?" you whined, "I would rather you not know of your location, but rest assured you are perfectly safe" L replied calmly. "If this is some sort of joke it isn't funny, untie me now!" you snapped, "Yes, I fully suspected that you would be averse to this my darling". "Darling?! Ryuzaki I'm married! You brought me here didn't you!" you exclaimed, "Yes, since I wish to demonstrate why I'm a more suitable romantic partner for you Y/N". Scowling you said, "Well you've already messed up because kidnappers are not my type! My husband is a good man".
"During the past 6 months, your husband has cancelled 130 dates, has only engaged in sexual activity with you on 4 separate occasions and seemingly has not acknowledged your birthday. You deserve someone who is much more attentive and devoted like myself, surely you understand that I rescued you from a loveless marriage".
You were silent. That creep had been fucking stalking you.
He opened the bedside draw, obtaining a large, pink vibrator, "Perhaps this will help, consider it a birthday gift" L chuckled. He lifted your skirt and ripped into your underwear, "Don't you dare!" you snarled, "I'm going to demonstrate how satisfying sex can really be" L uttered while ogling in between your legs.
You choked as he began clumsily massaging in-between your thighs with the sex toy, experimenting with various speeds and intensities to discover what your cunt enjoyed the most. You clenched your teeth to contain your moans since you didn't want to give this sick pervert any validation, however being as perceptive as he was, you weren't able to fool him.
"Your pupils are dilated, your face is flushed and your vulva is already producing lubrication, all typical signs of arousal" L remarked bluntly. "W-what?" you stammered, "Trying to remain quiet is useless Y/N since I already know that your body is finding this device pleasurable. So please, let me hear those pretty little moans of yours, you were always so quiet during sex with your husband my love".
You struggled against your rope as L swirled the vibrator on the highest intensity level around your sensitive, swollen clit. But it was hopeless, you couldn't escape the waves of incredible pleasure that vibrated throughout your pussy. You were in an intoxicating daze and your body was hot and trembling; you were so touched starved that your body was already begging to cum. "Ryuzaki!" you screamed while you squirted all over the vibrator; feeling shocks of electrifying pleasure overwhelm your cunt while your legs jolted.
You gasped as you suddenly felt L smoothly slid his aching dick inside your quivering and dripping hole. He began rocking his hips back and forth, his eyes fixating on his cock which was now glistening from your sweet cum. Aha! Hah! Oh...hah..you feel so...so amazing" L whined, "Stop..aha...fucking me...you..hah..bastard!" you panted. "Aha..ugh..I won't be m-much longer, so there's no need to worry Y/N". You were praying that nobody would hear the creaking of the bed, L's whining or the squelching of precum.
You already could feel another orgasm stirring within you since his desperate thrusting never allowed your body to relax. His firm shaft gliding against your aching g-spot felt like shocks of thrilling ecstasy filling your loins, it was fucking addicting. "I-I am close t-to" L stuttered as his thrusting became erratic and rapid, "Already?! P-pull out!" you yelped. "Ngh! Aah! Aha!" L grunted as he spurted his thick, creamy cum deep inside your greedy, soaking pussy. "You idiot" you moaned as his lengthy, hard dick continued relentlessly slapping against your womb.
"I want y-you to hah! Climax a-again, now aha" L babbled while rubbing the vibrator against your needy clit. Your eyes locked, those once cold, dead eyes were now filled with passion and vulnerability, his gaze was practically saying, "I need you Y/N, I need your body, please surrender to me, don't hurt me". "I-I going too..ah..aha!" you groaned before another explosion of pleasure shot throughout your body. Your pussy clenched tighter around L's shaft as you cummed, squeezing another load of rich, hot cum from his throbbing erection. L tossed aside the vibrator, tore through your blouse and began sucking your nipples, leaving them slippery and hard. "I love you so much Y/N" L purred, "Kiss me then" you whispered shakily. You were disgusted with yourself but your husband hadn't fucked you with the same amount of lust and love for months.
Your hands broke free and in-tangled with L's dark, fluffy locks while you both sloppily kissed, "I'm s-sorry my love, I-m g-going to...aha again!" L choked. "Use me as your cum slut Ryuzaki" you begged, no longer caring that he wasn't using condoms and that you weren't taking birth control. "Say that again Y/N! And aha! Keep clenching around me like that, ngh!", "Use me Ryuzaki! I'm your cum slut, fill my pussy over and over again, do whatever you want to me". "G-good girl" L hissed while finally draining his balls of milky, sticky semen; fucking his own leaking cum back into your abused cunt to ensure your womb would be filled with every drop.
L slowly slipped out his dick and buttoned his jeans, you slapped his face and hastily untied your ankles. "You know that really hurt" L mumbled while rubbing his cheek. You rushed to the door and shook the locked door knob, "Open this door! Right now or I'll kill you!" you shrieked. "You found just as much pleasure as I did in that experience so why be so averse towards me? I love you so much Y/N, you look so beautiful" L praised. "Of course, you'd think that you pervert! I'm half naked and filled with you fucking cum" you snarled, "I'm a pervert?".
"Yes! And a monster! My husband is a great detective so he will find you and throw you in prison forever!" you snapped, "Only a monster can catch another monster, it's why I'm a far greater detective and why you'll be residing with me for a very long time" L replied monotonously while kissing your forehead. Whining you said, "I hate you", "I love you too" he whispered.

lovesick | pedro pascal [2]
"and on this night and in this light i think im falling, im falling for you."
next chapter: [3] previous chapter: [1] series masterlist
summary: in which a 1975-obsessed film student accidentally falls in love with an older man she can't have.
pairing: actor!pedro x intern!reader
genre: acting world!au, big age-gap!, strangers to friends- maybe lovers?? au | angst, mature, awkward, love- eventually
word count: 6.7k
status: in progress
author's note: this chapter was for fun- i have the 1975 on repeat so i had to lmao. i kinda wanna do a slow burn because i don't want to make anything happen so fast. and pedro was at the oscars a few hours ago so why not post another chapter for him :) not edited.
You hated working weekends.
Something about waking up extremely early on a day that was supposed to be your day off irks you. Why have a scheduled rest day if you're just going to be scheduled to come in? It made zero sense, especially since you were only given a two hour notice before while sleeping.
No pay, clothes, gifts could ever make you happy after being called in at 5am for a 7am shift-
"Venti iced white chocolate mocha with oat milk, vanilla sweet cold foam, caramel drizzle, and light ice as always," Pedro listed as he handed you the coffee.
"Oh my god, I think I love you," you blurted out, staring at the cup in awe.
"That was fast, I see now why you're single," Pedro replied, giving you the side eye. "And soon diabetic."
Rolling your eyes, you take a sip of the coffee before shaking your head. "Not like that, you moron," you scoffed as he glared at you. "I love coffee too much- and who says I'm single."
"Think of it as your reward for waking up to the call," he joked as you just stared at him annoyed. The one time you turn off your do not disturb and this happens. "Your loneliness says otherwise."
"I am not lonely!" you gasp as he shrugs. "I'll have you know I am dating-"
"If you dare say Matty Healy I will personally push you in a bush-," Pedro declares, stopping you as you try to interject. "-and won't help you back up."
Huffing, you cross your arms as he laughs at the sight of your defeat. He knows you too well considering the fact you only met two months ago.
In fact, these two months were probably the best ones you have had all year. Not only did you experience some awesome moments you're sure you'll never get to witness again, but you got along with a lot of special people.
What made things even better was the fact that you got along with your boss because who knows where you would've ended up if Finn was a total douche- which he wasn't. But he did have his moments where he took your kindness for weakness- like asking you to come in for shift on a Saturday.
One thing that definitely advanced would have to be your relationship with Pedro. Nearly best friends is what you two were typically called on a normal day on set by how close you've become.
The nearly part added because nothing could ever come between his relationship with Bella, or Bellie in his own words. And because Jules always made sure to tell the jokesters that she was not giving up her position just yet.
But when it came to work, Pedro was always there for you. Considering he's been in the industry since before you were even born, which he yelled at you once when you joked, he was the best support.
He would even ask you what you were assigned to do and tell you specifically what was wanted without you even asking- even finding ways to physically assist before being caught and sent back to his actual job.
There were also the constant times where he would spam you with iMessage game requests to 8 ball and ignore you after beating him three times in a row, claiming his phone died despite your messages being sent through.
The only thing that made today better was that he was here because who knows how boring the day would have been if you were spent hanging with the technicians who; in fact, did not appreciate the countless times you dropped a mic.
"Why didn't Jules get called in?" you questioned as he turned up the computer brightness you were using. "That girl never wakes up early but I kid you not, she was playing minecraft on her computer when I was leaving."
"I love minecraft," Pedro sighed.
"I do too, but Jules always sends the creepers to my house," you complain. "They always destroy my garden."
"I could only imagine the devastation in your eyes," he dramatically exhales as you nudge him. "But I think it's because you're more...attentive? Not saying that she isn't, but she sure loves to talk about Jersey Shore in between takes."
"She's been binge-watching all the seasons after work."
The conversation ended once he was caught again by one of the producers and lured out of the office you were in. Initially, he searched around the studio and found you to gift the coffee, but he stayed because he did not want to sit on the makeup chair for another round of a drastic look being applied to his face- especially if you weren't there to pester him.
As for you, once clocked in Finn managed to have you scan after emails as a way to apologize for the call in. Apparently, one of his assistants called out so he decided to use you as their replacement since he couldn't find the time to sit down in a cozy office and do so.
But you were totally not complaining.
That only lasted you about two hours before you were finished and terribly bored.
Throwing the empty cup of coffee in the trash, you decided to walk around in hopes of finding something better to do or else you would've fallen asleep on the desk.
You would've if you weren't scared of the thought of a director finding and; consequently, firing you.
Hearing a loud noise, you quickly averted your eyes where your ears were signaling where the noise came from. Lightly jogging behind a curtain, your eyes widened to a sight of a desk on its side and a man hovering over it.
"Joon?!" you exclaim, running over to find him lowly panting, trying to remain his coolness as you began inspecting him to find any injuries.
"I'm fine," he calmly replied, using his dimpled smile as a way to reassure this but you didn't believe him. That was a loud drop.
"Why in the world are you lifting a desk that surely isn't less than 30 pounds?" you glare as he chuckles at the fake anger you poorly tried displaying.
"One of the technicians asked me to bring it out."
"And did you forget that your back would disagree?"
He shuts his mouth for a second, loss for words at your comeback. "I couldn't say no," he shyly replied. "I didn't want to have to pull out my medical forms explaining why I can't lift a table."
Feeling your face sink, you helped him stand straight as he glanced down at the fallen table. "You should have called for help then- everybody would need help for a gigantic table like this."
He only nodded in response, making you feel bad. You felt like you were lecturing him, technically you were, but you didn't want to find out in the future the reason he stopped attending work was because he pulled his back again.
"I'll drag this out," you declare as he tried slapping you hands away from it.
"It's too heavy for you!" he argued.
"Which is why I said drag," you countered back, ignoring his pleas as you somehow managed to lift the table back to its standing positioning.
Walking around it, you bent your back as you began pushing it around the curtain as Joon followed your position, crouching next to you for the extra support.
If it wasn't for the film crew being around the floor, you were sure you would have passed out right then and there. But you couldn't let them know how weak you were.
"And that's how teamwork makes the dream work," you announce, causing Joon to giggle before giving you a high-five as the two of you stand up from your bent posture.
Joon was another person you got along with incredibly well. For one, you guys were the duo out of all the interns. Every job you had that included another person, he was always there.
There was also the many times the two of you, and Jules of course, would carpool together to get home. It turned out Joon was also friends with some of your college classmates so he was always the only person from work who joined you guys for the random nights of cheesy movies and boring games while eating takeout with your other friends.
Despite hanging out for so long, you felt dense when someone called him Namjoon one time, even turning your head around for this Namjoon, completely oblivious to the fact that Joon was connected to Namjoon.
To be fair, he never went by his full name claiming that his nickname sounded more 'chill,' or whatever that meant.
Other than that, you were sure he was your other best friend. Well, after Jules and maybe Pedro. They were probably on the same level if you had to arrange them- not that friends had to ranked.
"Are you ready for this afternoon?" Joon called out as the two of you walked off the stage back to the curtains.
"For what?"
He sent you a surprised look, scaring you because is there something crazy happening that you had to prepare for? "Do you have your phone?"
Patting your back pocket, you shook your head. "I think I left it in my bag. Why? I'm about to cry if you don't tell me," you impatiently whine.
"What kind of fan you are," he simply responds, causing you to widen you eyes.
Immediately jumping on him, you shake his shoulders repeatedly. "What is the 1975 doing?! You must tell me or I swear to the gods I will bust your kneecaps and make you crawl for help."
He bursts out laughing at your threatening begs, trying to calm down your jumps by grabbing your shoulders to hold you. "You're violent."
"And you'll need surgery if you don't hurry it up."
Tapping your shoulder to calm down, you slowly do so. "3 o'clock is when their tickets go on sale for their upcoming tour, one of the dates being in New York City."
You could have sworn you were about to faint if it weren't for Joon pulling out his phone to show you you still had time to mentally prepare for the combat you were about to enter.
That's what ticketmaster was, a war zone.
"How was I not aware of this?!" you cry out, internally panicking about what you were going to do. You can't miss out on this concert, you just had to see these British people in person in order for your life to be complete.
"They did just post the news half an hour ago," he admitted. "Good for you for not being addicted to your phone."
Scowling at him, he quickly closed his mouth as you went over all the things you needed to do to prepare. "Wait, can we go together? None of my guy friends like them."
If you weren't in your own world mentally planning how you were going to beat all these teenage girls online, you would have noticed Pedro walking up to the two to you. But you didn't because your mind couldn't stop thinking about Matty Healy singing 'She's American' because you were indeed American.
"Why does she look deranged?" Pedro questioned, standing a few feet away from you. "Oh no, did Matty Healy die?"
Glaring at him, you ignore his irrelevant comment and face back to Joon. "You and me, my place straight after work. Got it?"
He nods, already in game mode because he knows how bad the two of you need to witness this concert.
Pedro exchanged a crazed look between the two of you, assuming his own ideas as to what you meant. "You're having a party and didn't invite me?" he tried joking to understand the conversation a bit more.
"No time for fooling around, Pedro," you state, grabbing Joon by his arm and making your way back to the office to search for your phone. "We have important business to settle, see you around!"
He watched the way Joon and you walk away hurriedly and wonders if you have a thing for the boy. It would make sense right? Joon was around the same age and he saw you guys work together all the time.
Shaking his head, he walks back to the stage trying to not overthink whatever was flowing in his head. But he couldn't help but question why he was never invited to your place? He instantly rejected that idea, he was twice your age. There's no way that was realistically appropriate.
However, you were friends- so wasn't it hypothetically okay?
No, there was no way he was really debating this. It's completely understandable why he didn't need to be invited over and Joon could.
But how many times did Joon come over?
Stop. His thoughts were confusing him and he needed a distraction. He wasn't going to let another man make him envy of where his friendship stood with you because there is no way he's jealous Joon might take his close friend status.
Because that's who you were to him, a close friend.
After another hour of working with Joon secretly about the tickets while emailing more people who Finn ordered, you two were finally cut for the day.
And luckily you still had two hours before the tickets went on sale.
"I need to grab my coat I left backstage, meet me outside?" Joon asked and you nodded, waving him off as you put on your own coat and bag.
Sprinting out of the office, you didn't expect to fall on the floor by the the person who ran into you. Well, the person fell to the floor while you comfortably landed on top of them, their arms wrapping around you.
"If you missed me that much you should've just texted me sooner to drop by," you heard the culprit chuckle, immediately making you shake their secured hands off your waist to stand.
"That was definitely not the case," you laugh, sticking a hand out to help him get up.
He raises a brow while staring at your hand before taking it, instantly pulling you back down with him. Falling over again, you slowly slip into his arms before finding your balance and giving up on helping him.
"How adorable of you to think you can lift me up," he grins, pulling his own weight up.
"I would love to stay and chat," you start, before looking past him and back again. "But I have something very important to do."
Trying to move around him, he stops you by grabbing your shoulder. "That's why I came to be a generous person and offer you a ride- so you can be home faster and do whatever you needed to do with Josh."
"His name's Joon."
"That's what I said," he ignores you're doubtful glance. "I can take you guys to your apartment."
Thinking it over, it would make it easier and faster to get home and prepare for the sale. If you would've taken a cab and subway it would have been an hour, with him it'll be half that.
"Fine," you spit out and watch as his face lights up. "But I am not owing you anything, you offered."
"Love how two months ago you would've begged the world for me," he placed a hand over his heart. "Oh how comfortable you've gotten with me."
"I don't want to hear it," you shun him, walking past him as he makes a silly face behind your back. "I can feel that!" He immediately stops, surprised you sensed it.
Maybe the two of you gotten a long too well.
"He's gonna drive us to my place, it'll be faster," you quickly explain to Joon who just nods, happily smiling at Pedro who sends him a fast greeting.
Right as you walk through the parking garage and see the familiar black car, Pedro unlocks it before quickly pushing you into the passenger seat, ignoring your protests and slamming the door before you could slip out.
"Not cool," you utter once he buckles inside the driver's seat.
"Don't make me cry," he fake cries before pulling the car out and hitting the road back to your place.
Due to it being the weekend and everybody wanting to be social and outside for some reason, the streets were packed.
It didn't help that Pedro thought starting a deep conversation with Joon about why electric cars annoyed him, knowing damn well Joon loved the environment, was a good idea.
And Pedro's defense being because he loved the smell of gas made you want to slap him.
As if the heavens felt your annoyance, your wish was granted. You were finally in the front of your apartment complex with Pedro pulling up along the red curb. You would've fought him, but you were desperate to get inside as you barely had an hour left.
"Thanks, see you Monday!" you exclaim, jumping out of the car and slamming the door shut. "Let's go, Joon!"
Barely stepping a foot out, you heard Pedro begin talking. "Wait, what are you guys gonna do?"
"Very intense work," Joon stated before turning to you. "But we got this in the bag."
Pedro squints his eyes, curiously scanning your body language because he does not know what this very intense work meant.
Working out? Making out? What the hell was it?
"Of course we do, love has no limits," you declare, making Pedro cough as you grabbed Joon's arm. "Now, let's go!"
"What are you two going to eat?!" Pedro called out, making you heavily sigh and turn back around.
Faking a smile, you gritted your teeth. "Don't know. Maybe we'll cook or make Jules' grab food as we work."
He makes a face, not convinced he wants to let you guys leave. Now that he was here and his day was over with, he didn't want to be alone.
But he also didn't want to tell you he wanted to stay. He wanted you to invite him- but you weren't getting the hint. Or maybe you were, but you couldn't have him in the room while working with Joon.
"That's cool, did you know I make a killer chicken alfredo?" he speaks out, making you pull an interested face as you were very much not. "Especially with garlic bread."
"Make sure to make that once you get home, safe travels," you wave, trying to turn away but was once again stopped by his voice.
You could feel your kindness slowly leaving your body. Was this the day you would be arrested and charged for murder?
"You know what's the secret with making the pasta?" Pedro questions as Joon replies back a curious, "What?"
"The sauce!" he exclaims as you try to control yourself. He was definitely pushing your buttons but you had to stay calm- you had to.
Joon was too interested in the conversation Pedro was beginning, trying to ask what was in this mysterious sauce. You knew you had to interject or you would both be ticketless.
"Maybe you can tell us about this secretive sauce on Monday, when we next see you," you force a laugh, trying to slowly take a few steps back to inch towards the entrance doors. "We really have to g-"
"Why wait till Monday when I can tell you now?" he claps, getting reading to explain his recipe. "For starters, you need a thick, sauce that can sp-"
"Oh my god!" you squeal, causing both men to jump and stare at you in shock as you rambled on. "The parking structure is around the block, my number is 912- just park and come up! Let's go, Joon!"
With that, Joon and you ran inside and Pedro smiled to himself. His planned worked. He guessed the only way to get to you was by speaking nonsense until you gave in- he'll remember that in the future.
Rushing through your door, you took your coat off as Joon pulled his laptop out if his backpack and set it next to your desk.
You looked at it confusingly before asking, "you carry your laptop with you to work?"
"Duh, an intern should always be prepared for computer work," he replies as if it was the obvious rule we should all know.
Shrugging, you turned on your PC and immediately went to ticketmaster, finding that the tickets weren't going on sale until 35 minutes from now. "We still have time to breathe." That was until you heard light knocks on your door. "Spoke too soon."
Walking up to your door, you see that no one was out there.
That was until Pedro decided to jump out from the side and scare the living shit out of you.
"I'm not doing this," you glare, trying to slam the door on his face, but he forced his way in while laughing at the scream you exhaled before.
You stared at him with no expression as he fell to the floor, continuing to laugh as if your fear was the funniest thing in the world. Joon was even silently giggling in the corner, stopping when you made eye-contact with him.
Trying to find a bowl to fill with water so you could throw at him, your plans were interrupted when you heard your roommate's voice boom across the room.
"Who the fuck is making so much noise?! Some of us are trying to sleep- ah! Why is Mr. Boss here?" Jules' gasps, jumping behind the hallway wall and peeking only her head out, too embarrassed to show off her hello kitty pajamas.
"He's gonna make us some pasta with his secret sauce," Joon happily states as she just gives him a confused look.
"Plus, it's almost 3 in the afternoon...," Pedro adds, giving her a baffled look as to why she is barely waking up.
She just gives him an awkward glance before running back to her room, shutting the door. Saturday's were her day off, of course waking up after 5pm was normal.
"The time limit just turned green! Refresh to join the waiting room-" Joon began screeching, doing so on his computer as you jumped around Pedro to do the same on your PC.
Slowly walking up to where Joon was, Pedro began examining the situation you two were in. Reading over your computer screen, his face fell. "The 1975 2022 World Tour...were you guys seriously trying to buy concert tickets this whole time?!"
Joon and you exchanged innocent glances to one another, not sure if he was judging you for your dedication.
"No, we still are trying to buy tickets," you simply reply, pushing him away from your computer.
His negativity was bad luck.
"This is why you were rushing to get home? All for-"
"Be gone, pessimist. Your energy is not it," you frown, moving your game chair to block his view from your screen. "Joon, block your computer, we can't afford his cynical attitude to ruin our chances of making out with Matty Healy."
"Making out with Matty Healy? You still want that? How is he gonna notice you?" Pedro asks, trying hard not to laugh in your face.
You were quiet for a minute. It was just a crazy thing you said because of all the videos you had seen online whenever it was somebody's birthday or they were just a lucky fan in the front.
You weren't actually dedicated to kissing him, but you did wish.
Joon slowly raised his finger, pointing at Pedro. "You're famous, right? Maybe if you went he'll notice us?"
Eyes widening, Pedro quickly shook his head as you placed your hand over your mouth. He was right, maybe he wouldn't kiss you, but he would for sure meet you if he found out a famous actor with over a million followers on Instagram attended his show.
"Not a chance," Pedro declared, ignoring your puppy dog gaze as you just hoped doing it for long would make him so uncomfortable he would give in.
Nudging Joon, he followed your actions with the sad stare, the two of you in front of the poor actor, leaving him really no choice. You were even thinking about calling Jules out to help, but she probably wouldn't appreciate it by her state of looking homeless.
But if it were on a work day she would totally be in.
"You just look like a deformed bull terrier," he says, pulling a disgusted face. "It's kind of unattractive."
"What is that?" you urge, watching Joon hold a laugh.
"The target dog," Joon answers for you.
Shrieking, you smack Pedro in the arm. "My god, woman! You always hit me."
"You're coming with us to the concert," you announce, watching him roll his eyes. Before he could reject your demand, you beat him to it, "if you don't I'm never talking to you again."
"Please, I've been wishing for that for weeks now," he cheers. "Plus, I'm pretty sure I am busy the day they come."
Pulling yourself close to the computer, you check to see the day they were arriving. "So you're saying you aren't free November 7th?"
"Kid, that's basically a year from now. I can't guarantee anything."
"Damn, you're right," you frown, your mood going down. Joon's idea was pretty amazing, but just wrong timing since the concert was so far away. "You can leave now."
"And what about that famous chicken alfredo?" Pedro chuckled, finding your change in demeanor amusing. You must really love these indie boys.
You were about to reply when Joon intervened. "Oh my god! We are in the queue!"
Twisting your head, you could see the clock had hit 3 o'clock exactly. How did time go by that fast?
"Holy shit! Everybody disconnect from the house wifi on your phones! We can not have anything disturbing us!"
Pulling out your phone, you did what you ranted on and made sure Joon did the same. You even ran to Jules' door and banged on it until she confirmed she did so.
Running back to the computer, you could see there was still 983 people in front of you while Joon had 754. "Why is your computer going faster?"
"This laptop-," he sheepishly smiled. "-cost a fortune, but works like a charm."
Turning back to the screen, you saw the purple line move closer. Not even three minutes in and you only had 534 people left while Joon had 312.
You don't know what you did, but God was certainly rewarding you.
"You're honestly really weird," Pedro confessed, staring at your computer screen. "And sad."
"You would be if you were about to buy tickets to see the love of your life."
"I wouldn't pay anything, money can't buy love," Pedro insists, pulling a chair from your table and placing it in between Joon and you.
"That's very romantic," you swipe an imaginary tear from your cheek. "Save it for the cameras."
His jaw drops as you return back to your computer. In a few moments you were about to be inside the room and you were beyond scared. If you did not get these tickets you don't know how much longer you'll have to live.
"I'm in!" Joon shouts, causing you to jump to his screen.
Great, the two of you were going together anyway so it works out.
"Fuck, what's the presale code?!"
Placing your hands on your head as he begins to panic, you die inside. What the fuck were you going to do now? "Go on Twitter and check!"
To say Pedro was not intrigued would be a lie. It was very fascinating seeing how strongly engaged you were just for a damn ticket. To be honest, he thinks you would be great on a reality tv show- your expressions were just off the roof. He wonders if other people genuinely acted like you.
"It's probably something super simple, try 'thesound,'" you exclaim, watching as he typed right away but frowning when it denied it. "try 'somebodyelse.'"
After each attempt of every famous song they had, it was still wrong. What pissed you off even more was that fans were gatekeeping the code no matter how many times Joon and you tweeted for help.
Greedy little shits.
Eventually, your screen allowed you into the room as well. It was no use, you didn't have the code. "I think I'm going to have a panic attack," you clutch your chest as you felt your lips quiver from sadness. "We were so close."
Pedro just stared at you not believing how miserable you suddenly became. Is this how easily young people let concerts take over themselves? Do people really idolize artists that much to the point where they feel depressed if they don't get tickets?
He shivered imagining how BTS fans dealt with this pressure.
"Let me try," Pedro speaks up, pushing you to the side as he began typing away on your keyboard.
It never hurts to try, right?
Innocently clicking away, your face fell as the check mark appeared, unlocking the room for you. "He got in!"
Hurriedly jumping to the screen, Joon urged Pedro to do the same as you began searching through the seats. Instantly clicking on the floor, you hit the continue button for 2 seats.
Feeling your nerves kick in, your hands begin to shake as you typed in the needed information in order to complete your order. But once you pressed 'place your order," your world stopped.
Ignoring your surroundings, you only focused on the screen. Quietly praying, you're sure Joon and Pedro could hear your desperate requests to the ruler of the universe to grant you your biggest wish: these tickets.
You Got The Tickets To The 1975!
Feeling weightless, you screamed so loud you were sure your neighbors were going to call the cops. Joon looked over, doing the same cheers once he realized you two were set for the show.
Jumping out of your chair, you practically tackled Pedro to the ground as you wrapped your arms around his neck and planted him numerous kisses all over his cheeks.
For once, you were happy you managed to outlast his annoying-self.
"I will forever be grateful for your existence!" you cheer, squeezing his poor body in your arms as he tried to remain in balance, laughing at how nice you suddenly became.
Planting a big kiss on his forehead, you turn to Joon and jump together in happiness. You couldn't believe you managed to score tickets, especially floor seats.
"Wait, what was the code?" Joon asked, pulling away from you and turning to Pedro who tried containing his grin.
"The 1975."
You dropped you arms, feeling incredibly stupid. How could you not write their name as a code attempt? It was shorter than 'it's not living if it's not with you.'
"Joon, we are officially the two dumbest people in New York City," you confess as he slowly nods before stopping.
"Not dumber than Jules though."
You heard her door open before her loud yelling appeared, "Well fuck you too!"
Ignoring her, you jump to Pedro who had his gaze on you already. "Welp! Since we got that out of the way, why don't you make some of that chicken alfredo with your sauce."
He smiled before realizing what you were asking. "What sauce?"
You roll your eyes before hitting his side. "The secretive one you were bothering us about."
Pedro bounces up once he understands what he had mentioned earlier. "Oh, right. That one," he chuckles. "I was kidding, I just wanted to see what you guys were dong."
Your face falls as Joon lets out a sad sigh. "Man, I really wanted to taste how thick and creamy that sauce was."
Pedro just tilts his head to Joon before pointing at the door. "It was great hanging with you guys though! Hey, at least we all worked together for those tickets! I'm gonna head out now, have a good rest of your evening!"
With that, he awkwardly backs away and opens the door, quickly running out before you could argue why he would lie about such a thing.
Before you could process what had just happened, he quickly opens the door again and peeps his head inside. "By the way, you don't actually like a deformed bull terrier," he clarifies. "I was kidding, maybe a cavalier king charles spaniel, those are precious."
And again, he runs out. This time, your face was pretty noticeable when it came to how much redness was present. You cringed to yourself, the littlest of compliments always made you blush- it made you sick.
Joon and you exchanged confused looks to each other. Pedro was a very interesting man.
"What is a cavalier king charles spaniel?" you lightly question.
"The dog in the arms of an angel commercial," Joon simply replies.
Reaching his car, Pedro quickly unlocked the door before jumping in. He felt his heart beating fast, not sure why it was doing so.
Was it because he adored how committed you were for those damn tickets? Maybe. Or how your eyes sparkled once you realized you got the right code? Possibly.
How you kissed him and pulled him in close? Most definitely.
But he would never reveal such a thing to anyone. People would take it wrong and believe he had feelings for you. All he had were feelings one would have for another close friend like you.
His heart was beating because he was excited for you, that's all.
Walking around the studio Monday morning was exhausting. Not only did you pull an all-nighter Saturday night because you were too happy to fall asleep, but you only managed to gain a few hours of sleep on Sunday as you were too busy trying to finish homework due that same night.
"Are you alright? Do you need water?" you heard Bella worriedly ask as you pulled a hoodie over your head and walked near the snacks table.
"I need a pill that can wake me up."
"That could be arranged," she joked, stopping when you sent her a serious look. "Not by me, of course."
Bella managed to wake you up a little once she suddenly pulled out her phone and turned the flash on, flashing it all around your face. "Are you trying to make me blind?!"
"It's supposed to wake you up, is it working?" she grinned, still shoving her phone up your face.
Grabbing her wrist, she stops. "No."
"Damn, that sucks."
Somehow you managed to pull yourself together, walking to where the rest of the interns were once you heard all the directors call out for an urgent meeting.
Probably wanting one of you to run to the coffee shop for coffee as usual.
Seeing Pedro waving at you from the side of his cast's group, you smiled and returned it. He then proceeded to make a confused face, wondering why there was an emergency meeting being held.
You sent the same look, adding a shrug because you were feeling the same. You weren't aware about what was going on, but noticing how many people were present- it must be a big deal.
Finn walked in and stood near the director, sending you a smile that didn't look natural.
If anything it looked fake and...sad?
"A lot of you are probably wondering why I called everyone down here on this early morning," you hear one of the directors begin, making some people nod while others just patiently waited for him to continue. "Starting with wonderful news, we have just been given access to explore our visuals and proceed to try out different surroundings in regards to our planned perception for the series."
Hearing a few people clap, you do the same. You were glad that the set was upgrading, but what did they have to do with everyone?
"Unfortunately," you heard him begin, causing your breathe to hitch. "with locations being held in various places like Canada, we are going to have to make cuts."
Feeling your heart drop, you already knew who he was planning to remove. A big series like this can't send interns they don't care about out of the country for help and you sure as hell couldn't afford to pay for the travels yourself if it came down to it.
You didn't want to make eye-contact with Bella or Pedro and feel their condolences through their expressions. All you wanted to do was be cut already so you could go home and cry at home.
To cry over a job was pathetic, but considering how much you learned and loved to manage it for the past couple months, it was sad to let it go.
As the director went down the list of small departments he planned on letting go, he finally made it to yours. "As for the interns, we are especially grateful for the hard work you brought to this set and trying to fill not only our needs but the casts. If we have any open positions in the near future we will make sure to grant you priority, and if you ever need letters of recommendations for your future activities, I am sure Finn would be able to handle that behind closed doors..."
You zoned out after that, not really caring what else was being said. It was the typical its not us excuse, claiming the company couldn't provide for all of their workers yet were able to spend millions of dollars on each location and its visuals.
The meeting was over when you noticed the directors and producers giving a final sympathetic look to the crowd, bowing their heads before walking back to where their offices were located.
"I feel like crying," you heard Jules sniffle, patting her under eye with her sweater. "But I took time on my eye makeup so I can't!"
Rubbing her shoulder, you tried to distract her from her tears coming out as Joon stood next to you guys, telling her funny spongebob jokes that she did not understand.
"Uh oh, Mr. Boss is coming. He's gonna make me cry, I can't hear his sorrow," Jules' explained, turning her back the other way.
"Hey, kids," you heard Pedro lightly say.
"The tears are coming out!" Jules' exclaimed, running away to the nearest bathroom while Joon and you looked at each other, feeling extremely bad for her.
"Sorry about that," Pedro awkwardly started, continuing once you shook off his unnecessary apology. "I just wanted to talk, see how you guys are handling the unfortunate news."
Joon was the first to speak, sounding surprisingly calm for someone who just lost his internship. "It sucks, but at least it was for an understandable reason. Traveling costs money. Plus, we go to school here, we can't just leave."
You nodded, agreeing with what he said. It was true, you should have known this job would've ended sooner than later, there was only so much you could have done inside a film studio.
The series was an apocalypse that needed feature more outside and environmental sets that looked deadly than a building that was only useful for inside takes.
"How about you?" He questions, sincere eyes following yours as you shrug.
"I am sad but that's the industry," you force out a small chuckle. "If you aren't cut at least once, you aren't gaining the full experience."
Right after you said that, you felt tears lining around the inner corner of your eyes. Looking down, you tru to contain yourself. "I'm going to go check up on Jules."
Reaching out for you, Pedro tries to console you but you were out of his reach in seconds. He hated the tears in your eyes and his job being the reason behind it.
He felt as if it were his fault for your departure when he knows he shouldn't.
It also didn't make him feel any better that Joon followed straight after you once you walked away. He knew he had to do something but he wasn't sure.
All he knew was that he would rather see you smile than cry.

That’s When
Emotional stress is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. Right behind cancer, heart disease, accidents, and suicide. Stress is a silent killer. It keeps up behind you and sinks it’s sharp teeth into any weak flesh it can find. Spencer can’t remember a time when he wasn’t stressed. For him, it’s almost like stress is the norm. He knows that it’s not healthy, but it’s hard to admit when you’ve been chasing life at full speed for more than half your life. All Spencer does is run. He chases the monsters of his present and the ghosts of his pasts, only taking a moment to breathe.
He can feel when the stress starts to bubble to the surface. It threatens to burst, but somehow Spencer keeps it bottled up. He’s had to do it his whole life in order to survive. From a 12 year old in a public high school to a Fed in prison, Spencer has spent his whole life swallowing every dose of stress he’s been giving. He knows the signs of stress; his hands start to shake and his vision goes blurry. But he swallows and throws himself headfirst into whatever or whoever needs him. This week it’s his mother. Last week there was a child abduction case in LA. Who knows what next week will bring.
Spencer walks out of his bedroom and into the living room where Y/N sits curled into the couch sipping from her mug with a book in her hands. Spencer wants to soak in the peaceful moment watching the person he loves most. Ever since prison, he feels like he should feel more grateful for these moments. He knows that they are hard to come by, but the stress of knowing what could be coming always prevents him from not truly enjoying it. Spencer can’t remember the last time that he actually lived in the moment. It’s been years and years of just surviving.
He must not be as quiet as he hopes, because Y/N turns in the direction of the door. She puts down her mug of tea and her book on the coffee table, making her way over to Spencer.
“Good Morning, Spence,” she says, planting a quick kiss on his cheek with a smile on her face, “I’m glad that you slept in today, you needed that,” Y/N tells him, walking to the kitchen.
“I did,” Spencer says, “It’s nice to wake up when the sun’s up,” he says, following Y/N into the kitchen. She reaches up to pick out Spencer’s favorite mug from the cupboard. Noticing the small, yet loving gesture, Spencer rests his chin on Y/N’s shoulder. Without any words, Spencer knows that Y/N knows it means I love you.
“You really need to get more sleep, Spence,” Y/N says, pouring the steaming cup of coffee, “It’s not healthy the pace that you’re going at. You need to slow down and let me-”
“I got it, Y/N,” Spencer says, “It’s just been a stressful week at work. Emily has been getting more and more crap from the higher ups and I have to give midterms next week and I have three doctor appointments for my mother and-”
“You’re just proving my point, Spencer,” Y/N says seriously, “I mean it. You’re not even 40 and you’re going to give yourself a heartattack and the rate you’re going. Not to mention you live off a diet of coffee and granola bars,” she chides, turning around to hug Spencer’s waist.
“You know you’re the best person I know, right?” Spencer asks, kissing Y/N’s head. He can smell her tea tree and lavender shampoo. She smells like happiness and home and Spencer wishes he can smell it all the time, “I just gotta get through these next two weeks. And then it will be easier,” Spencer explains, not quite believing himself.
“Sure, Spence,” Y/N says unconvincingly. She breaks from his grasp, walking back to her tea and book in the living room, “I just. I’m just worried about you. You’re spreading yourself too thin and I-” she says, trying to get out what seems like months of frustration.
“You know what, Y/N. I don’t want your help. Talking about it with you isn’t going to help me. You know why? Because your badgering and nagging isn’t helpful. It’s annoying and you’re annoying,” he says, staring at Y/N straight on.
Spencer is a profiler. He’s been trained to watch and look for microexpression. But Y/N is stoic. Either she’s very strong and Spencer’s wounding words don’t hurt or she’s incredibly stubborn and won’t let him see her break. Whatever it is, Spencer knows that he regrets it instantly.
“Is that how you feel?” Y/N asks, her voice deadly quiet, “Is that how you really feel, Spencer? I annoy you?” her voice is cold and distant, that usual loving tone is gone. Spencer wonders if he’ll ever hear it again.
“Yeah, Y/N. It is,” he says back, not recognizing the words coming from his own mouth, “I’ve been doing this since I was, what, 12? I don’t need you and your nagging,” he says, digging himself deeper and deeper into a hole he might not ever be able to get out of.
“Well, Spencer. I’m sorry that you feel that way. And I’m sorry for wasting your time,” she says, turning away from him and rushing into his bedroom. Spencer wants to chase her in there and tell her that he didn’t mean it. He’d never mean it, but he still said it. And he hates himself for it. These days, Spencer’s pretty sure that he hates himself more than he loves himself.
He half expects that Y/N will hide in the bedroom until she cries it out. Spencer’s more than prepared to spend the rest of the day sitting at the door apologizing over and over, until Y/N opens the door. But that doesn’t happen, instead Y/N comes flying out of the room as quickly as she went in. She carries a small bag, stuffed with some of her things she leaves at Spencer’s apartment. Y/N stays with him so much that it’s like she practically lives here. Spencer supposes that it’s probably the worst time to be thinking about asking her to move in. He thinks that he’s ruined that chance and any other future with Y/N his imagination could cook up.
“Where are you going?” Spencer asks, his voice sounds hollow and very unlike himself, “You should stay here, I’ll go,” he offers, not wanting to hurt her anymore.
“No, Spencer. I’m- I just need some space. And you need to get your act together because that wasn’t my Spencer. My Spencer wound never hurt me like that. I never thought you could do that to me? I would never think-”
“Y/N! I didn’t,” Spencer says, crying and walking towards Y/N in an attempt to keep her from leaving.
“No, Spencer. You don’t get to do that. You don’t get to hurt me and try to make it better. I-I need time. I need time to figure things out. And so do you,” she says, brushing past him. She slips on her shoes before grabbing her keys that hang on the rack. She’s facing the mirror that’s way too covered with pictures of them to function as a mirror. Spencer notices that she glances away quickly from their smiling faces, as if just looking at them is painful. Watching her do that is painful for Spencer.
“Please, Y/N. I just—” Spencer tries, walking to the door thinking of the ways he can stop the best thing that’s ever happened to him from slipping through his fingers.
She doesn’t say goodbye. Y/N just slams the door, leaving Spencer, again, alone. His hands rest on the door on tight fists and he has to summon the will to not crumple right there. He hates his memory sometimes. Spencer can’t forget anything; terrible cases, the trauma of prison, and the most hurtful thing he’s ever said.
He sits there, on the wooden floor, replaying the last couple of minutes in his mind. The way Y/N face twisted with pain and hurt. Spencer promised himself he’d never ruin his only chance at happiness in the first two weeks he met her. Yet, here he is, sitting on the floor of what should be their apartment, hating himself.
Spencer told her he didn’t need her, that she was annoying, that she was a bother. His words wounded the only soul he’s sure that knows him. He doesn’t know what to do. Whenever he doesn’t know what to do, Spencer knows who to go to. Except, the only person he can go to is the last person that wants to see him. Y/N has an unparalleled ability to make all of Spencer’s problems melt away. Whether it’s when she runs her fingers through his hair or holds him so tight it’s like their hearts beat as one. She’s the cure all and he might as well have thrown it out to sea.
Spencer, in all of his attempts to hide his broken soul, had broken another in the process. He knows his soul, his goodness is long gone. He supposes that he lost it in a place where he was always on the other side of the bars. Spencer fell out of all that pain and despair right into the arms of the first person that looked at him, not like he was broken, but like he was whole. She mended back together the fragile pieces of his soul. It’s overwhelming sometimes to be loved so purely. Sometimes he’s tempted to think that he doesn’t deserve it, that all of his sins made him unworthy of love as pure as Y/N was offering.
But he soon learned that love doesn’t pick and choose. It sticks with you when the nightmares seem real and the window blinds look too much like prison bars. Love isn’t cruel even when the world is. But Spencer was. He broke her heart, something he promised himself he’d never do. Spencer could manage with the light being a little more dim for himself, but he never wanted her light to be anything but brilliant.
If Spencer was a braver man, maybe he’d walk the streets calling her name. Maybe he’d knock on every door he can think of, looking for the last chance of happiness that he let slip through his fingers. His heart twists, knowing the little bit of peace he felt has ended. He’s gotten through everything life has thrown him so far, but Spencer doesn’t know how he’ll get through life without Y/N.
—
Spencer hasn’t spoken to Y/N in three days. Even when he’s on cases that take him across the country, he always makes time to talk to her at the end of the day. Three days is the longest they’ve gone without speaking and Spencer wonders if the record will keep growing. He hates not being able to talk to her, to tell her everything that pops into his mind or to just look over at her and remind her how beautiful she is. After three days, Spencer is lost at sea and isn’t sure he’ll ever find his way home.
“Hey Reid,” Luke says, spinning around his chair to face Spencer. He can tell that there’s something wrong with him, and if Luke can tell that means Penelope knows, and if Penelope knows than JJ knows, and if JJ knows then Emily knows, and if Emily--
“Reid, dude,” Luke says a little bit louder to get Spencer’s attention, “What’s up with you,?” he asks, sliding over closer to Spencer in his swivel chair. Spencer isn’t sure if he should be grateful for paperwork days or not this week. On one hand it means he can’t distract himself from Y/N because his entire desk is filled with photographs of them, but on the other hand he’s home if there’s an off chance she comes back to him.
“Nothing, Alvez,” Spencer says, refusing to make eye contact with his concerned co-worker, “I appreciate the concern, but there’s work to be done and this chatter isn’t getting you anywhere with your pile of paperwork,” he snaps, rubbing his eye with his palm to stop the twitching. He thought that it was gone, but sometime during the last three days his nervous tick returned. Spencer knows what it is, the silent killer: stress.
“Really, man? Are you that transparent?” Luke asks, not expecting an answer as he turns Spencer around his chair to face him, “Spence, I’m worried about you. Penny and I are both worried about you. You seem to be down, and look, man, I know you don’t like talking about it, but please tell Y/N if you’re not okay. She’s with you for the long run,” Luke says, having know idea how his words affect Spencer.
Spencer wonders if he should confess. If he should tell Luke that his girlfriend practically broke up with him after he shattered her heart. But Spencer doesn’t need anyone else to confirm what he already knows. Spencer hurts the only person who can heal him and she’s gone.
“Work has been stressful,” Spencer says, hoping that it will be enough for Luke to get off his back, “and uh, I think I’ll take your advice and talk to Y/N,” Spencer tells Luke, even though he’s talking more to himself.
“And for what it’s worth man, you two are perfect for each other. I didn’t know you before,” Luke says, his voice trailing where the word “prison” should have been, “but from what I see now, you’re a good man, Spencer. You’ve got a good heart and don’t let that go to waste wishing you said something or didn’t say something,” Luke tells him, leaving quickly as he comes as he wheels back to his desk. Spencer is left to think of what Luke said.
He glances over at the collection of photos with Y/N and knows exactly what he needs to do.
—
It’s late. Not too late that she might already be sleeping, but late enough to when she’ll be sitting down to knit or crochet with a mug of tea. He knows her nighttime routine like it’s his own, because it was his up until 3 days ago. Spencer knows he can spend the rest of his life regretting his words, knowing he’ll hate himself for breaking the only soul that knows his soul.
Braver than ever, especially compared to the night that could have ended everything, Spencer knocks on Y/N’s apartment door. He’s never been more scared, even in Mexico when he was chased by my cops or in prison when he was targeted for his job. Spencer didn’t have anything on the line then, but himself. But now, he has everything on the line.
“What do you want, Spencer? To yell about how ordinary I am. You don’t think I already know that?” she says. Y/N is dressed in her bathrobe and pajamas. Spencer can see the top of his old CalTech tee-shirt peeking out from the top of the robe. He wonders if it’s Y/N not ready to let a piece of him go yet.
“I want to apologize,” Spencer says humbly, looking at the ground as he talks, “I want to apologize for hurting you, Y/N,” he tells her, still not looking at her.
Y/N is quiet for a moment. Spencer can tell that she’s debating whether or not she should slam the door on his face and forget that he ever existed. But the hope in her eyes screams at Spencer to keep fighting for her. He wants nothing more, but to graze his hand against her cheek and tell her how much he loves her.
“Do you want to come in? I made tea,” Y/N says, stepping to the side to let him walk in. Spencer always felt more at home at Y/N’s apartment. Though he wasn’t sure if it’s the walls or the arms of the woman that loves him that makes it a home. He hates referring to her in the past tense, it makes it seem so final, when he wants them to be anything but that.
“Y/N I want to-” Spencer starts, ready to recite his rehearsed apology, but goes quiet when Y/N’s hand motions for his silence.
“Spencer, I think you’ve had plenty of chances to say what’s on your mind. It’s my turn,” Y/N says firmly, sitting down on the stool in her kitchen. A long scarf attached to knitting needles rests on her lap and a steaming cup of tea lays forgotten on the table in between them.
“What you said to me, Spencer. It really hurt me. I don’t think I’ve ever loved someone like I love you,” Y/N says, making a fist. She does that when she’s angry or sad. Unable to help himself, Spencer knows that it’s a psychological response to stress.
“I know,” Spencer says, “I know that I hurt you. Hurting you is my worst nightmare,” Spencer says quietly, running his finger around the circle designs of Y/N’s placemat. He’s tempted to feel hope when Y/N’s soft hand covers his. He doesn’t realize that he’s shaking until her touch steadies him.
“Spencer, if we’re going to do this together,” Y/N says holding back her emotion as she speaks clearly, “if we’re in this together, then I need you to know that you can’t do this to me. You can’t shut me out and not tell me things. When you’re feeling stressed, you have to tell me,” she says, squeezing his hand.
Spencer’s eyes flicker to hers for the first time. He came here thinking that he’d get kicked out or ignored. Either way, part of Spencer still thinks that he’d be leaving here with a broken heart.
“I wanted to give you time, time to just have some space,” Spencer says, his eyes daring to hold Y/N’s. He feels brave, though, with her hand in his and her eyes holding his steady. He wants to kick himself for forgetting how brave and warm and safe she makes him feel.
“Thank you,” she whispers, “I needed time, some space to figure this all out,”
“I know,” Spencer says, “it’s the worst thing I’ve ever done, what I did to you. I don’t particularly like myself most days, but with you, Y/N, with you I think I can learn to love myself,”
“You’re easy to love, Spencer,” Y/N says, “you’re so easy to love even when you push me away, but please don’t push me away,” she cries as Spencer brings her hands up to his lips tentatively. He’s not sure if he should kiss them or not. He doesn’t want to kiss her to be thrown out of her apartment. He knows if he kisses her for the last time it might as well be his last kiss ever.
“When can I come back?” Spencer whispers into the warmly lit kitchen. He’s in that limbo of needing to know the answer, but scared out of his mind to actually hear the answer. It’s a risk he's willing to take, because she’s worth ruining himself millions of times over and over.
“You’re already here, aren’t you?” She says, like it’s obvious.
“I am,” Spencer says, kissing her knuckles as she giggles. It’s a good sign, he thinks. It’s telling that maybe there’s enough love for him in her to take him back.
“You can come back anytime you want, Spence. When it’s 5:30 in the morning and you couldn’t sleep because you missed me too much or when it’s raining and all you want to do is dance with me in the rain. That’s when, Spence. That’s when you can come back,”
“I did you wrong, Y/N. I put you through all this,” Spencer says, lowering his head as Y/N strokes his face. He closes his eyes at her soft touches, not realizing how much he missed them once the promise of them could have been deserted. He always thought that he hated being touched. Even as a kid, he was scared of being touched, maybe because of the germs or because it could mean that the affection could stop one day. But now, Spencer knows that it’s the light, feathery touches that he craves. The touches that have his skin memorized, each dimple, freckle and wrinkle.
“Leave all those in our past, sweetheart. I know you didn’t mean it. So don’t say it again,” she says, dusting her fingertips over his eyelashes as he closes his eyes. He feels safe and loved with her holding his face, “I love you, Spencer Reid,”
“Loving you is the best thing I’ve ever done, Y/N” Spencer says, “I’ll be a lucky man if you’ll have me forever,”
“Forever isn’t long enough, but it will have to do,” she says, closing the gap between them for a kiss that’s nowhere near their last.

FIRETRUCK ARMS I CAN'T
Thanks for the help with editing ilysm<33
Interesting dream, Toby.
Toby was already having a hard time falling asleep already and the woodpecker under his window sure didn’t help.
It was 2 AM already and he had the day off, yet somehow he still cared for his sleep schedule enough to try and rest a little.
Then he heard it.
A squirrel. Yes, a damn squirrel. It was rustling the leaves and chirping so quietly but for Toby's haplessness it was too loud in the eerie silence glooming inside the manor. He was counting in a weak attempt to stay calm but he still heard the continuous harsh tapping on the tree, a few annoying rustles every two seconds- 1..2..3...4..5678910!
He shot up in the comfortable and warm bed in rage, busted the window open and put his head through to see where these annoying disturbances were coming from. To his right he saw the high reaching tree the woodpecker was on, but that wasn't important to him at the moment. He saw the squirrel under his window conveniently on the tree messing with the leaves and he snapped.
He decided that he would skin the damn animal and stick it to a tree, and with that thought in mind he quickly reached for the squirrel.
He missed, of course but he was not on his way to give up right away. He went on and jumped into the tree as well (luckily it didn’t break) and he was on his way right after the tiny little thing. Animals always seem to know when someone has harmful intentions to themselves it seems, because that little thing ran for it's life, with their demise running right after them just as fast.
They ran together at the same pace, unintentionally maintaining the space between each other jumping from one tree on the other.
Toby was so focused on the chase of the tiny animal that he absolutely locked any other information getting to his brain, for example what he was exactly doing right now, or how high up he was, maybe even how far he was from the manor at this point, or perhaps Slenderman's golden rule, that no proxy or pasta is allowed out while he is hunting. (Which he was doing at the moment btw).
No matter how fun it is, every chase must come to an end, and this one ended by the squirrel making a huge jump from one tree to another and Toby finally realizing how much danger he was in. He scrambled back from the edge of the branch and watched the annoyance run off. Then it hit him.
A horrifying picture of some young child seeing the psychotic teenager in his bloody pajamas standing in a tree entered his mind and refused to fade. He was frozen in fear knowing that he has no idea where he was, he's stuck in a tree with no way of getting down, AND the cherry on top of that he was breaking a huge rule by being outside at this time. To sum it up he was drowning in silence. Fearful silence.
Then it happened. Toby accidentally told Slender the whole thing by telepathy. Unintentionally of course, but he still did. So, after a few silent seconds the entity appeared right in front of him. It's hilarious he was still taller than the teen even though he was standing in a tree, but Toby found it less funny and more intimidating at the moment.
"I am very disappointed to find you here, my child" Echoed in Toby's head before he felt his consciousness fade as if on cue.
A few hours later Toby woke up at about 10 AM feeling sore, like he hadn't slept at all. He walks down the stairs to drink some water and sees Slender sitting there with a cup of coffee and a few documents scattered on the table.
Toby remembered his dream and he found it entertaining enough to share it with his boss. "Sir i just remembered this super weird dream of me chasing a squirrel and i got stuck on a tr-" But he was cut off by one short strict sentence;
"I don't want to find you out there again."

Meet me at the Hanging Tree
Hunger Games au
previous chapter: Chapter 3
next chapter: Chapter 5
Pairings: Peter Maximoff x fem!reader
Series Summary: Panem, governed by President Magnus, is getting ready for the 75th Hunger Games. It's in this Memory Edition that the reader will learn how far one can go for the loved one, even if that could bring her to certain death.
Series Warnings: Murdering, described death and violence, suicide, death for natural causes such as starving, hypotermia, dehydratation and wounding infection.
Disclaimer: The story is wrote in third person as I'll add other point of views outside the arena. Also, romance will began later in the book, as the characters won't immediately interact!
Chapter Four: Training Session
warnings: mention of fighting and knives
summary: first day of training, and y/n seemed to already have found an ally in the last person she'd expected to.
a/n: a bit obvious and cliché, i know, sorry. My original idea was to make an enemies to lovers kinda trope, but i gave up at the end. sorry :,)
two more chapters and in the arena we goo
Darwin was right: the shower was amazing.
After the three washing they gave her before the parade she had taken another one before going to sleep and after she woke up, and made sure to fully enjoy it. Having clean hot water dripping directly over her head was probably one of the best feelings she had ever experienced.
She closed her eyes and let the water run on her face, as she gently rubbed her hair. For how long could she have enjoyed those small things? The showers, the food, the fancy dresses, even that dark beverage that if she remembered well was… Coffee? Yes, yes it was coffee.
She didn't like the taste the first time, but now during breakfast Charles told her to try it with a bit of milk. She didn't quite get how exactly it was made or the name, but she admitted it was better than the last one.
"Did you sleep well?" Darwin asked her. She nodded, but deep down he knew that she was lying, and she knew that too. Besides, he had a terrible sleep too. As Effie poured more… tea? In her cup, she spoke to both of them. "First day of training! How are you two excited?"
They shared worried looks, not knowing what to answer. "Effie, why don't we talk about how they impressed everyone yesterday? What's your response?" Charles changed the subject, which they were very grateful for. "Like I said yesterday, you were wonderful! What Emma did with you two surely left the sign, it's not every time you see a District 12 tribute dressed that properly for a parade!"
Y/n preferred not commenting on how that could have been considered offensive instead of being a compliment, and she just thanked her. She knew that deep down Effie wasn't being mean or anything, and she seemed to actually care about her and Darwin.
Darwin too just thanked her and smiled, immediately turning to her to give her a knowing look, that made her understand they were thinking almost the same thing.
A few hours later they were being dragged to the training center, where they would have spent the following five days. Y/n wasn't really listening to the woman explaining the rules such as "Don't attack each other, you'll have plenty of time for that in the arena", she was too busy observing the other tributes.
She had already seen the favorites, Scott, Ororo, Kurt and Rogue. Truth be told Kurt looked even more scared than her, and she wondered if he'd actually be a threat to her during the Games. She came to the conclusion that he'd probably be anyway if he went with the other three, which he would probably have.
She didn't know much about the other tributes, the male form 11 seemed very strong, and so did the guy from 5 and 7. The speech was finally done, and so they all parted to start they're training.
She noticed that Darwin was going to the fight spot, but she kept observing. Excluding Ororo and Rogue, the other girls looked pretty much "weak", and they would have hardly made a serious danger in the arena.
But then she remembered what Charles had told her on the train, and how that was probably how she looked in their eyes, and they obviously didn't know about how good she was with knives. She shook her head and decided to go trying to do the knots. She was already good at it, giving that back to the District she did it often, but she still decided to give it a try.
She passed by the couple from the six, who were fighting over how to make a decent bait. She met the eyes of the girl, and she shyly smiled at her. Why would she do that? She had no idea, but she didn’t even have the time to smile back that she was already resuming her argument with her companion.
She kept walking to the trap-making desk just to find it already occupied by Peter Magnus. "The President’s son is already so good at fighting that he goes straight to the trap uh?" God did she really say that?
He turned to face her, embarrassed blush covering his cheeks. "And I'm not really good at it apparently. Are you?" He asked her, trying to hide his embarrassment with the only way he knew: flirt. "Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. I'd rather not tell everyone what my specialities are, that would just benefit the others and not me." He chuckled in response. "True. You know my name but I don't know yours. Would knowing your name benefit me too?"
She shakes her head. "Guess not. Y/n Grey."
"Beautiful name for a bea-"
"Don't you even try."
She stopped him. He raised his hands in surrender and looked around. "Where's your friend?" He asked. "Fighting. Yours?" His eyes started scanning the room looking for Lorna. "Ah, there. With knives."
She followed his look to the black haired girl aiming for the targets. She was really good at it, even more than her.
And no matter what happens, do not compare yourself to the other tributes. You are an amazing hunter and great with knives, don't let yourself down.
Her mother's last words were more harsh than Jean's one for sure, but certainly useful.
She was good at throwing knives just as that girl, maybe even better. "Thinking much?" She kept staring at the girl without answering, and then totally changed the subject. "It must be hard for your sister." His smile dropped for a few seconds, just to reappear an instant later. "It is. But at least she's not the one in here and trust me, I prefer it like this." Y/n had to admit she wasn't expecting that answer.
Not that she didn't believe he had any feelings but, for sure she had thought he'd be more selfish than what he was showing.
"She's up there." He signed, directed to the room where all the gamemakers stayed. And there she was, wearing the most beautiful red dress she ever saw. Honestly, she was incredibly beautiful herself. "Woah. Your sister's hot." She commented. Peter frowned. "I guess? I never exactly stopped thinking about how hot my sister is." He joked, making her laugh.
"Fair enough." She looked at him, meeting his eyes again. She then thought that maybe he could know something about the other tributes, and tried asking him about the girl who smiled at her previously. "Uh, that's Kitty Pride if I'm not wrong, from District 6. And the guy's name is Bobby." He explained. "He volunteered for a kid, it was very touching." He said, still working on his trap.
She raised an eyebrow. "You talked to them?" "No, I just saw their reaping ceremony. And, between you and me, I got to look in the files of the gamemakers. A lot of stuff about everyone, you included dear." He said winking.
Well that was interesting. Sure, what he did was probably against the rules but, now that he already did it why couldn't she take advantage of that? Besides, Peter seemed like a nice guy.
Seems.
"Alright I have an idea. You tell me everything you know about the tributes, and I help you set up a trap and give you some personal survival tricks. Deal?" "So you do know how to make one." "Deal?" She repeated again. He accepted without even thinking about it.
"Ok so, I suppose you already know the ones from District 1 and 2?" She nodded. "There's nothing much more to say about them other than they're lethal but Alex, the mentor of the first District, is Scott's brother. And Raven, mentor of District two? Apparently she is Kurt's and Rogue's mom, but she left them because she had them at a too young age. Ok ok, this one is just a Capitol rumor, no idea if it's true." He cared to add when he noticed her unconvincing expression.
"Then, uhm, let's see. Ah, Jubilee, District 5. Her family isn't as poor as one would think by how skinny she is, and she's very fast. Oh and be careful with Warren, District 3. He could easily become a deathly threat with the smallest sword."
He went on and on with all the tributes and even if the information wasn't much, now the girl felt like she had a bigger advantage over the other tributes. A much bigger one. Finally Peter stopped at District 11 and, even if she fought the urge of asking the whole time, she eventually gave up and went with it. "And about me? And Darwin?"
He chuckled. "Darwin's family work at the market, not the best but he manage to survive. You… your father died, you live with your mom and sister, too old to play in the Games." She looked down, a wave of sadness rushing over her at the mention of her family.
He probably understood his mistakes because he immediately apologized. "Sorry, didn't mean to-" "No it's fine." She lied.
She just wanted to drop the subject and talk about anything else, and she was thankful for Peter because he didn't brought it up again once she started teaching him how to prepare a small animal trap. "I knew you were good at this. He teased, making her shake her head.
What in the world she was doing? Befriending him? He was an enemy, just a few nights before she promised herself she would have killed him if she had to. And now they were having a normal conversation like two old time friends do?
This wasn't her at all. She had to wake up from that state the boy put her into before it was too late. And yet, she couldn't help the words that escaped her mouth.
"You know Magnus, you're not as bad as i though." "Back at you, Grey."

Investigations (Part 7): Ran Haitani x Fem!Reader
wc: 1.6k
tw: NSFW is you squint
masterlist
song recommendation:
You try your best to shuffle around the kitchen surreptitiously, clicking the espresso pod into the machine with a soft 'snap'.
The machine begins its duty, whirring to life before the liquid is deposited into the cup below.
Success.
Your fingers wrap around the mug and take it to the counter, where you've already prepared your milk and syrup for a quick and easy cup of coffee.
Lately, you've had to sneak and make coffee (all futile attempts ruined by Kai or Ran), but you consider today full of promise. You'd gotten the formula down so far.
"I thought I said no coffee."
Your hands hover over the cup, the steam caressing your fingers like a warm invitation. Your eyes don't move to look at Ran, but they do watch his fingers snatch the cup away from you - full of warm milk and espresso.
"Y/n, it's not good for the baby."
"Okay, but..." Your feet carry you to the sink, where Ran is pouring the concoction down the drain. "Just a taste?"
"No."
"A sip?"
"No."
"I'll make it and just stick my tongue in it once."
"No."
Ran stands firm on his opinions at all times. Especially now. Arms cross over your chest and you huff, turning away from him.
"So strict." Ran fingers slide down your neck, resting around your full hips.
"It's not just about you," he begins, kissing the space between your neck and shoulder. "I'm looking out for our child, too. You know that."
"I do," you groan.
"Now, we have a baby shower to host. Let's get ready."
_____________________________________________________________
"We thought you were gone forever!" The three women come around you and huddle close, cooing, and crying, spewing lamentations and satisfied praises that you've returned.
Sanzu - out of the kindness of his heart - planned the baby shower, and you're at his house, eating cake with your friends and consuming hors d'oeuvres. But when you find a free moment, you corner Ran in the kitchen.
"Did you tell the others?"
"Tell them what?" Ran tilts his head at you and leans onto the counter, frowning. Your face smoothes out into an expression of disappointment, and you sigh.
Of course, he hadn't.
It's still your job to carry this terrible secret. It's still your job to bury your deepest, darkest knowing, all while the other girls are parading about like their husbands aren't killers and extortionists.
"Hey, y/n! It's time to open the presents!"
_____________________________________________________________
The water surrounding your figure is warm, full of bubbles and Epsom salt, as well as a little bath bomb that Ran bought - well, he bought sixteen, but that's beside the point.
"Feeling okay? Is it too hot?" You look over to the man sitting on the toilet seat, his elbows resting on his knees as he observes you pour water over your belly.
"It's fine," you murmur, blinking slowly. "Feels good."
"Want to turn on the jets or--"
"I want to join Bonten." Ran's face drops, his violet eyes clouding with confusion.
"I'm sorry?"
"You heard me." You stare at him, fully intent on getting your desired response. "I want to be a part of what you do."
"Babe, no." Ran leans his head forward, rubbing the bridge of his nose in frustration.
"You haven't even listened to me," you whisper, looking down at the ten toes poking out of the water. "You always do this. You tell me 'no' because that's the way you want things. I can't even drink coffee without your permission."
"Listen, I'll let you do whatever you want, but Bonten is out of the question. You're pregnant --"
"Then I can wait until I have the baby."
"Even after that, I'm going to say no. This is a dangerous business." He emphasizes his words with a shake of his head, pressing his lips together.
"You act like I wasn't an investigative journalist for ten years."
"This shit could get you killed, y/n."
"Yes," you begin. "But you do it every day. I want to be a part of it."
"Why?" Ran finally asks, and your lips curl into a smile.
"I know things you don't know. The media follows you very closely, and you need a good image if you ever run into a problem with... say, law enforcement. What better way to prove that this is a harmless organization than hiring a woman - your wife?" Ran quirks his lips, looking at the door of the bathroom with consideration.
"Is there any particular skill you'll avail to us other than just public relations? I mean, I could get someone to do that who isn't my wife."
"I have connections that will divert attention away from Bonten, if necessary." You think of the little group you and the other wives have created, and send a mental apology their way. "You can use me to get the word out about any other suspicious groups who might be involved. Aid and abet, like a good wife."
Ran stands from the toilet, sighing deeply. "I'll ask Mikey. But don't expect me to attempt to sway him with my loyalty. If anything, I'll ask him to really think about it before he makes a choice."
"That's all I want," you breathe, taking Ran's hand and pressing your lips against the back of it. "You're too good to me."
"Don't thank me yet, sweetheart."
_____________________________________________________________
Convincing Ran to part with his old-fashioned ways is something you're very skilled at. All you need to do is get on your knees... and be as sweet as you can be.
"Babe," you mutter, sucking Ran's thick cock from the side. "You're such a good husband."
"Buttering me up for Mikey, huh?" Fingers cup the back of your head and push you down slightly. "Why am I not surprised?"
And every single time, Ran sees straight through your little act. But he enjoys it nonetheless. He loves seeing you like this - giving him the attention he missed so much while you were gone.
"Because you know me so well. And that's why you married me."
That's why you married me. Ran's eyes close as he re-imagines himself the first time he decided to visit you, hands full of shit he didn't have to buy, and eyes full of stars at the sight of you answering the door in a tank top and shorts with a cast on your leg. That's when he knew that he wanted to marry you. Not because you're good at anything in particular, but because you were so ordinary... So normal. He needed someone like you then, and he needs you now.
"Stop."
"Am I doing something wrong?" you murmur, but Ran shakes his head, strands of his black and white hair flopping back and forth.
"You're perfect," he whispers. "You're always so perfect." He brings you off your knees and face to face with him, holding you by the arms. "Let me make love to you. I'll do the work," Ran promises. "You just enjoy yourself."
"But--"
"I've already told you what I'm going to do. Just let me give you what you deserve." Ran angles forward, leaning into a gentle kiss that makes your knees weak and your head spin.
Ran spoons you from behind on the bed, holding your leg up and sliding in and out of you with care. The other arm is holding you against him - wrapped around your chest - as he whispers sweet nothings into your ear.
"I love the way you moan my name," he breathes. "You always know how to make me feel like the only man in the world."
"You are," you reply honestly. "You're the only man for me."
_____________________________________________________________
"Why do you want to join Bonten?"
The dead eyes of the man across from you are unyielding, and part of you feels nervous that he's staring at you so intensely.
"I want to help you all out. I want to make sure that not only do my children have something to rely on when they grow up, but that my husband is taken care of in all ways."
"Your children and your husband?" You think of Ran, who is just outside of the door, probably pacing with his hands in his pockets. "Your husband just spent three hours arguing with me."
"About?"
"You." The man stands, and Sanzu looks over at him with blank eyes. He wants to chime in, but he can't say anything right now. Not when Mikey was supposed to handle this himself. "Your presence here will be controversial. Especially since you're... in the state you're in."
"Pregnancy isn't a fatal disease."
"No, but being in Bonten could be fatal. And I don't know if both ran and I would be willing to accept the consequences of two deaths on our hand."
"But--" Sanzu raises a finger to his lips, warning you to be quiet.
"However," the man murmurs, rolling his neck around. "Sanzu, Rindou, and Kakucho have vouched for you and your connections." Your shoulders slacken, and you lean back in the chair, somewhat relieved. "I will put it to an anonymous vote in thirty-six hours. Whatever the outcome is, we'll both accept it."
A blind vote.
Thirty-six hours.
"Thank you, sir." You stand and bow slightly, hands clasped together. When you leave the room, Ran is waiting for you in the hallway, eyes wide.
"Well?"
"It'll be put to an anonymous vote in thirty-six hours. Whatever happens, happens."
Ran's face is anything but pleased as you drive home, but you don't worry about that too much. You have one and a half days to wait for the results, and you'd make the best of it either way.

No Weakness [Spencer Reid]
masterlist
pairing - spencer reid x gn!reader
type - fluff, lil angst
request / note - “where the reader is new to BAU and they see dead body first time, and it kinda bothers them. and spencer noticed it, even when the reader tries they best no show it (bc they’re scared it makes the look like they’re weak) so when they’re just two of them spencer tries to make them feel better and tells them its okay and it does not make them weak.” this was so fun to write, ahhh! thank you @avrilstaro for requesting <3 *not edited lol oops*
summary - you’re embarrassed after freaking out from seeing a dead body, but spencer assures you that it’s okay
warnings / includes - descriptions of mutilated body, small description of case (child kidnapper case for this fic), crying, anxiety, nausea, little fighting, food mention. you and spencer are dating in this
————
*gif isn’t mine*
“I can’t believe I didn’t get to sleep in,” you mumbled, throwing your purse down on your desk rather roughly.
“Not like you would’ve anyways. Ariel was meowing for you five minutes before we got called in,” Spencer stated.
“So? I would’ve fallen back asleep after,” you shrugged. “You would’ve stayed up all morning playing with her, babe,” Spencer chuckled.
You rolled your eyes. “You don’t know that.”
“I do! You’ve done it every morning since we got her,” Spencer argued.
You scoffed, shaking your head at your boyfriend. You trudged over to the coffee machine, getting out a mug the size of a bowl and filling it to the brim. It was already your third cup of the day, and while it was probably unhealthy drinking that much coffee, you needed it. It was your first week on the job and you still weren’t used to waking up at five in the morning for a surprise case. This was your second case, though, so you weren’t very surprised that you were still tired. You knew you would get used to it as time went on, but you wished that your body and mind would adapt faster.
“You’re coming on the field today.” Emily nudged your arm with a file.
Your eyes widened and you sputtered out coffee, coughing to try and clear your throat. Emily chuckled, patting your back gently to help you. You set your coffee down, wiping your mouth with the back of your hand once you got control of your breathing.
“W-What?” You asked, the words Emily said not processing in your brain.
“I said you’re coming onto the field today,” she repeated.
“B-But…” your trailed off, trying to find a reasonable explanation. “I-I wasn't supposed to be on the field for another week. I’m still technically in training.”
“Well, part of the training is going on the field. You’re an amazing agent in the office, L/n, but you'd be even better on the field. You’re able to sympathise with the unsubs and solve the puzzles faster than most of us can, sometimes faster than your boyfriend. You’ll help us a lot better out there than in here.”
You chuckled nervously, heat crawling up the back of your neck. “Thanks, Emily, but I’m not ready.”
Emily rolled her eyes. “That’s what all the new agents say. You need to just get out there, and there’s no better time to do that then early in the game.”
“I guess,” you muttered, lifting your coffee cup and taking a sip.
“You’ll be fine, Y/n. I have no doubts,” Emily smiled.
“Thanks.” You have her a small smile. “No problem. And hey, don’t tell Spencer I said you’re better at the job than him,” she winked.
You laughed and nodded, “I won’t, I promise.”
She walked away, leaving you to lean against the counter and to drink the rest of your coffee before going to the briefing room.
“So, I heard that Newbie is finally coming along with us today!” Luke exclaimed.
“Newbie is your nickname, Newbie,” Penelope narrowed her eyes at Luke. Luke rolled his eyes, “Yeah, yeah. Anyways, you excited?”
You sat down in one of the chairs between to Luke and Matt. “Not really, if I”m being honest.”
“Oh, why? You’ll be great!” Matt smiled. “So everyone says,” you sighed.
“Hey, I heard you’re coming with us today. Can’t wait to have you on the field.” Spencer smiled as he walked past you.
“Yeah, I’m excited to outsmart you, too,” you smirked.
“Oh, Reid, looks like you have some competition!” Luke teased.
Spencer shook his head and looked at you through his lashes. You gave him a challenging look, leaning on the table.
“May the best agent win, Reid,” you dared.
“Alright,” he shrugged. “Better have no weaknesses, L/n.”
“Oh, I have none,” you smirked. Spencer replied to you with a hum, giving you an excited smile before paying attention to the case.
Penelope and Emily delivered the case to you six, then leaving you all to pack up your things as you were going on the jet. You got out the small duffle bag of clothes you had in your car for traveling on cases, also grabbing your phone charger and the case files. You walked up onto the jet, placing your bags up over the overhead storage area. You got seated across from Tara and next to Spencer.
You all talked about your plans to catch the unsub and where you all were assigned to. Tara, you, and Spencer were going to go to the crime scene to scope out the area. Emily and JJ would stay at the police station and work there, while Matt and Luke did witness and suspect interviews.
You were sitting back in your chair, looking out the window and admiring the sky as the jet flew through the clouds. You still had an hour before you landed. Everyone was either sleeping or listening to music. You had thought about going back to sleep, but it seems as though the three cups of coffee you had finally kicked in.
You regretted drinking so much coffee because now, your heart was racing and your hands were shaking. You weren’t sure if it was totally because of the caffeine or that you were nervous about being on the field for the first time, but you assumed it was a little bit of both.
Spencer, who was seated next to you, noticed your jitteriness. He closed his book softly, setting it down on the floor next to his seat, turning to you and taking your hands in his.
Your head snapped to him quickly, your eyes landing on his. He gave you a soft smile, beginning to rub his thumb over your knuckles.
“You’ll do great out there, alright?” He assured.
You sighed, turning away from the window and to him. “What if the lead I find doesn’t work? What if I can’t figure out where the unsub has the kids? O-Or what if I embarrass myself in front of the police chief?”
Spencer chuckled softly at your concerns, making you frown.
“Don’t laugh! Hey, I bet you had all these concerns when you first joined.”
“I did,” he admitted. “But, I learned that I worked with a team. It’s not just me doing the work, just like it’s not just you. You have seven people working with you on this. Try and relax, baby, alright? You do amazing work at the office. This won’t be any different.”
You scoffed, “Please. It’s like, a million times different.”
“Just try and relax,” he instructed, putting your hand up to his lips.
You smiled widely, your heart fluttering as he kissed your hand.
“Plus, even if it was just you working the case, I have no doubt you would figure it out quickly.”
“Thanks, babe,” you smiled and leaned your head against the headrest.
“Of course. I love you,” he said, leaning in and pressing a chaste kiss to your lips.
“Oh, gross. You guys know I just became newly single,” Tara scoffed.
You laughed and turned to her. “That was like, nine months ago.”
Tara raised her brows, looking at Matt and Spencer, and back at you. “You weren’t even here back then. How do you know this?”
“I just know things,” you winked. “Yeah, well I’m betting someone blabbed,” Tara grumbled.
“We would never,” Matt disagreed. “Mhm,” Tara hummed, going back onto her phone.
You smiled at you teammates and looked back at Spencer and putting your head on his shoulder. You closed your eyes for a few moments, opening your eyes again. You blinked rapidly, yawning and rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. You rolled your head around, your eyes settling onto Spencer who was back to reading his book. You turned your head back to the window, furrowing your brows as you noticed you weren’t up in the sky anymore.
“Oh, good. You’re up,” Spencer spoke, putting his book away.
“Are we here already?” You asked, your voice croaky and hoarse.
“Yep,” he nodded. “We landed about ten minutes ago.”
“Oh,” you frowned, sitting up and getting out of your seat. You stretched your limbs, yawning once more as you held your hand up above your head. “Why didn’t you wake me up?” You sighed.
“You’re just so peaceful when you sleep. I couldn’t,” he explained.
You smiled and went to get your luggage. “Thanks, Spence. But everyone is probably waiting for me now.”
“No, it’s alright. We can’t go and see the crime scene yet anyways.”
“How come?” You asked. “Not prepped for us,” Spencer answered.
“Since when does a crime scene need to be prepped for the FBI?” You snorted.
“You’d be surprised,” Spencer let out a breathy chuckle.
You put your duffle bag over your shoulders and handing Spencer his, holding your hand out for Spencer to take. “Join me down the stairs?”
“Of course,” he grinned, standing up and taking your hand into his and his bag.
You two walked off the jet, going over to the SUV. Spencer drove you two to the hotel where you dropped off your things, immediately going to the police station.
“ ‘Bout time!” Matt exclaimed, seeing you two walking through the doors.
You chuckled, “Sorry. Looks like the coffee wore off and I finally crashed.”
“It’s alright. I think the scene is ready for you guys to look at now,” he said.
“Great,” you smiled.
You and Spencer found Tara, going into the SUV once again, driving to the house where the parents were killed and children taken.
“Wow, I’ve never seen this much yellow tape in my life,” you chuckled. “Yeah. It’s definitely not an eye sore,” Tara chortled, stepping over the caution tape.
You and Spencer followed her, going up to the police offers that were talking at the front door.
“Hi, we’re FBI agent with the BAU. I’m Doctor Tara Lewis, this is Doctor Spencer Reid, and Agent Y/n L/n,” Tara introduced you all.
You smiled and shook the two officer’s hand. “Nice to meet you two.”
“Likewise. I’m Officer Santiago and this is Officer Reynolds. The parents were killed in two different places. The father in the bedroom, mother in the oldest child’s room.”
“Lovely. Can’t wait to see,” Tara smiled sarcastically.
“Oh, I bet. Go ahead and go in, let us know if you find anything, please,” Reynolds said.
You nodded and stepped into the house, cringing at the heavy smell of bleach.
“God. It’s like a hospital in here, but twenty times worse!” You held your nose. “I should’ve told Emily I needed to stay back with Penelope.”
“Oh, this is nothing,” Spencer smirked. “Wait until you see where they all got killed.”
“Ew, Spence!” You shrieked. “You’re supposed to protect me from all that.”
He chuckled, “All part of the job, baby.”
You nodded and sighed, knowing that he was right. As always. You three walked up the stairs, looking at where the father was killed. There was an enormous amount of blood of the bedsheets and some on the corner of the right nightstand, some splatters that were below on the floor.
“So,” you started. “We’re looking at a team, right? I mean, there’s no way that the unsub could kill the father without the mom noticing.”
“Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking’,” Tara nodded. “Well, I could be possible,” Spencer contradicted.
You and Tara looked at each other, confused.
“Yeah, how?” You asked.
“Well,” Spencer said, walking over to the bed. “The unsub could’ve choked or suffocated the father in his sleep. I mean, there were ligature marks around his neck, right?”
“True. And the mom was saying goodnight to her children, so she obviously didn’t see her husband get killed,” Tara added on.
You furrowed your brows, stepped out of the parents’s bedroom, going to the child’s.
“Yeah, but, what about the kid? I mean, wouldn’t it have screamed and fought and ran out of the house?” You asked.
Tara looked to you, eyes widening in surprise. “Yeah, that is a good thought. So… unsub number one is killing the father while unsub number two is kidnapping the mom slash killing the child…”
“No, that wouldn't work. Maybe it’s a group of three?” Spencer suggested.
“Maybe,” Tara shrugged.
You stepped into the child’s bedroom, scrunching your nose as a foul smell wafted under your nose. You walked around, covering your nose with your sleeve. You saw the blood on the bedsheets and nightstand table.
“Looks like the unsubs all have the same MO’s,” you muttered.
You opened the closet, seeing nothing but toys, clothes, and shoes. You closed the doors, looking around the walls, your heart sinking as you saw all the finger pantings and pictures of family and friends. You walked up to the wall, losing your balance as you tripped on a a long, soft object.
You let out a yelp, falling on your shoulder. You groaned in pain, turning on your back while holding your injured side. You looked around for the object you tripped on, frowning as you couldn’t find it. Something pale caught the corner of your eyes. You raised your brow, getting up on your knees and moving closer.
“What the —” You muttered, your voice getting caught in your throat as you realised it was an arm sticking out under the bed. “Oh, my —” You gasped, peering under the bed, seeing the dead body of one of the children. “Oh, my God!” You shouted, scooting back, your back hitting the wall as you stared at the lifeless body. Tears welled up in your eyes and you put your hand to your mouth, loud and broken sobs escaping your throat.
The boy couldn’t have been more than a few days old, yet it was still lying there. You could see the lifelessness in his eyes, and still the fear. There was a slit across his throat and cheek, his upper chest red with with green and purple bruises. You felt nauseas and cold, your heart sinking all the way down past your stomach. Your body was shaking and you couldn’t tear your eyes off of the body, no matter how hard you tried.
You heard the footsteps of your colleagues, their voices calling your name.
“Y/n, where are — O-Oh, my God.” Spencer’s eyes widened as he saw you crying on the floor. He immediately dropped down to his knees, taking you into his arms. “What happened.”
You were unable to move, your eyes staring wide at the body. Spencer followed your gaze, his own heart dropping down to his chest.
“Oh, man. Um,” Spencer said, looking away from the body and to you. His heart broke as he saw you so horrified. He put his hand on your cheek gently, turning your face so you were no longer looking at the body. “Let’s get you to out of here, alright?”
You nodded slowly, your breaths becoming laboured as you tried to calm yourself down in Spencer’s arms. He got up, taking you with him. He walked you out of the room, coming face-to-face with Tara.
“What happened?” Tara gasped.
“Looks like the unsubs left the older boy. Tell the police officers, I need to get Y/n out of here,” Spencer said.
Tara looked at you, nodding without hesitation. She let you two go, Spencer walking you down the stairs slowly. You exited the house, still taking heavy breathes as the image of the boy haunted your thoughts. Spencer gently got you seated into the car, buckling you in. He went to the driver’s seat, getting in and starting to drive.
You two sat in the silence for thirty minutes while Spencer drove around. You looked at the window the whole time, your eyes glossy and strained from crying and keeping them open. Whenever you closed your eyes, even to just blink, flashes of the dead boy raced through your mind. Spencer waited patiently for you to speak, understanding how shocked and horrified you were.
He parked in a Burger King parking lot, sighing and looking at you. He gingerly put his hand on your shoulder, only for you to shrug him away.
“Y/n,” he sighed.
“No,” you grumbled. “Take me back.”
“I think it would be smart if you took the day off. Seeing a dead body, especially a child’s and one you had no idea exited, can really throw you off. The first time I saw a dead body…. Man, I-I was sick to my stomach. I—”
“Shut up!” You exclaimed, waving your hands in the hair. You looked at him, your chest heaving up and down. Your brows were furrowed and mouth open, your eyes glaring at him. “Just shut up, Spencer!”
His mouth went agape, hurt flashing though his eyes. He didn’t let your outburst dampen his spirits, though. He knew you were embarrassed and still horrified, and that you didn’t like to feel belittled. So he gave you a small, comforting smile, taking your hands into his. You didn’t move away this time, but you avoided any and all eye contact.
“I know how you feel, babe,” he sympathised. “Yeah, I bet,” you muttered, your voice hoarse and dry.
He frowned and unbuckled, leaning closer to you. He put his hand on your chin, turning your head with strength and force. You eventually met his eyes, his smile dropping as he saw tears rolling down your cheeks once again, your lips pulled into a pout.
“Hey, it’s okay,” he assured, cupping your cheek and wiping your tears away with his thumb.
“N-No, it’s not,” you sobbed, shaking your head. “I-I’m so weak. I should’ve been ready. This is what I’ve been tra-trainging for and I suddenly turn into a freaking wuss? I-I… I… It’s so embarrassing!” You shoulders racked with sobs as you hung your head down to cry.
“Oh, baby,” Spencer sighed, taking your head in both of his hands. He held your head up again, bringing his face close to yours. He put his forehead against yours, kissing the tip of your nose lightly. “It’s no embarrassing, alright? Your reaction was a perfectly normal reaction to seeing a dead child’s body. Honestly, if you didn’t cry and freak out, I would be worried,” he chuckled.
You gave him a watery smile, laughing with him. “Y-Yeah, I s-suppose,” you sniffled. “B-But,” you started. “I-It makes me look weak. And I don’t want to look weak, Spence. A-All my life I’ve been told —”
He smiled widely, leaning back so he could look you in the eyes. “You’re not weak, Y/n. You never could be, even if you tried. You’re just human, and that’s fine. It’s amazing, honestly. You know, I am so proud of you, babe.”
You frowned, “Why?”
“Because today was your first day out on the field, and you did fantastic. It can only get better from here.”
“Y-You really think so?” You sniffed, wiping your nose with your sleeve.
“I know so,” he nodded confidently. “And it’s okay to show weakness, Y/n. No weakness is the real weakness.”
“Such wise words,” you laughed. He laughed with you and he shrugged. “I try.”
You laid your head back on the headrest, looking a him through tired eyes. “Thanks, Spencer. It really means a lot.”
He nodded with a smile. “Of course, honey. Now, why don’t you say we get something to eat, then go back to the precinct?”
“Yeah,” you nodded, “Sounds great.”
He nodded and buckled himself back in, putting his hand on the gearshift and looking to you.
“I’m proud of you, you know that?”
You smiled shyly, heat scorching your cheeks. “Yeah, I know. You’ve already told me.”
“Just making sure you know, baby.”

The Missing Piece - Little moments in the library.
Cordelia Goode x Wilhemina Venable x reader
If you haven't read the Mystery woman series, the link for it are below.
The Mystery woman part 1, part 2, part 3
Warning : none really. A little tiny mention not so innocent thoughts.
will be edited sooner or later.
This is part 2. Part ones link is below.
Part 1
The best part of the academy is the library, the shelves filled with many different types of literature, ranging from the classics to modern-day literature. There was a shelf dedicated to magic books, only the simplest books, however, the more complex books were in Cordelia's office for obvious reasons. You also appreciated the little details, unlike the academy's halls and main rooms it wasn't minimalistic. The room was heavily furnished, with a couple of tables and chairs around the room and paintings that were centuries old on the wall. The room was magnificent, the most superior part of the room is the fireplace, it was placed in the centre of the furthest wall. Your favourites spot was the corner of one of the three-seater sofas, close to the fireplace, of course. It wasn't a popular place for the more youthful students, you do spot the odd bookworm in the corner of the room reading. You might spot Zoe deep in a book. When you do, you would join her, and silently read.
That's what happened, you had joined Zoe in the library. However, she was dragged away by Madison a couple of minutes ago and now you were alone. It wasn't like you were complaining, you enjoyed your own company. It didn't last long as a heavy shut of the doors snaps you out of your calm and silent state. Wilhemina steps out of the shadows with a book pressed against her chest, with a tight lip smile as she sees you. She settles on the opposite sofa to you. You glue your eyes back on the page you were currently reading, however, in your peripheral vision, you see her settle her cane against the table next to her. She flexes her hand out a little, almost as it became stiff due to holding the came for long periods. What you didn't know was that your thoughts were a little correct, her back had been unbearable today making her hold her cane more tightly than usual. Her knuckles were almost too white at the grip she had on the cane. The tension in her back was very similar to someone repeatedly poking it with a hot pipe, despite the fact that she hadn't gone through that suffering. It seemed her body had decided to torture her today. You overhear her take a deep breath out before opening the book. The heat of the fire gives her an orange hue which made her hair more vibrant. You can see the various colours of orange and red in her hair, it was extremely similar to the sun. Tempting to touch but too hot to.
Shaking your head out of your thoughts, you go back to reading your book. After, a couple of page-turning you feel a pair of eyes on you. Looking up you see the redhead observing you, offering her a gentle smile. "Yes?" You question, wanting to know the reason for her looking. "Nothing, Ms L/N" Shaking your head at the formalities."Y/N."You correct her."Huh?"She mutters."Y/N. My name is Y/N, not Ms. I've told you to call me Y/N."You say daringly. A smirk graces her lips, she tilts her head a little, studying your reaction. "Well, Y/N. I will remind you that I know your name, I just like teasing you."Your eyes widen a fraction, heat graces your face. The book in your hand long forgotten as you stare at the woman across from you. She was staring intensely into your eyes, a wicked smirk gracing her lips.
Wilhemina went back to reading, the smirk still on display. Focusing your eyes back on the abandoned book in your hands. The words on the page, mixed together in a jumble, nothing making sense. You try hard to focus on the words on the page, but nothing works. You quite enjoyed this side of Wilhemina, the calm and teasing side of her It was unexpected of her to joke around.
Perking up a little bit you hear a set of recognisable footsteps outside the door. A second later the doors open, the supreme walks in with a tray. She looks up a little startled seeing you. There was a little hesitation before she comes further into the room, you send Cordelia a gentle smile. The small glow of the fire coats your skin in a rosy glow, Cordelia thinks it makes you look like you are bathing in the sunlight. There was a gentle look on her face as she stares at your sitting figure for a few seconds before placing the tray on the coffee table in front of you. Her eyes catching Wilheminas stare, a twinkle of mischief in Wilheminas brown orbs. On the tray are two cups, a hot steaming teapot, milk jug and sugar cubes tray. "I'll be a minute. I'm going to get another cup for you Y/N." Cordelia flashes the two of you a smile, your try to decline but she sends a playful glare to you.
There were a few awkward glances from you and Wilhemina when Cordelia left. Wilhemina glances down to the book laid on her lap, her fingertips tracing against the spine of the book. Your eyes follow the simple strokes of her fingers, wondering what else they could do. Wilhemina can see your eyes following her fingers, she knew how distracted you can get at them. She has seen you stare at them a couple of times around the Academy, desperately wanting to know what thoughts were going on through you head.
They halt as the door opens again, the blonde strutting in with a cup in her hand. She places it on the tray with the others, she holds eyes contact with the redhead for longer than necessary, almost as if they were having a silent conversation. Cordelia settles down next to you, a smirk gracing her lips, very similar to Wilehminas smirk across from you.
"Is it okay if you read to me, Y/N?" Cordelia questions softly. "I've always wanted to read that particular book and since you are reading it, do you mind if you read to me ?" She adds, a lip toyed between her teeth as she observes your reaction. You hum. "Sure." You shift a little in your seat, gazing at the blonde next to you. Wilhemina leaned forward a little pouring herself a cup of English tea, her hands stilled before she decided to pour the other cups with tea. There was a little wince as Wilhemina moves, you decided not to say anything knowing very little about her pain. She lifts the other jug with milk and pours a small amount of milk in her tea, followed by three sugar cubes. A crackle of the firewoods shakes you out of trance, locking your eyes with the redhead. She gives you a tight lipped smile. Cordelia nudges forwards too, doing the same, she pours a hefty amount of milk in her tea followed by two sugar cubes. Noticing the differences of each of their taste in tea, one liked it strong but sweet, the other weak but and not sweet. They almost complimented each other, having complete opposite preference in tea. "How do you prefer your tea, dear?" Cordelia asks, a fond smile on her lips as the fire glows in her brown orbs. "Not too milky and not too strong and two sugars, please." She follows your demands, you watch Wilhemina brings the cup to her lips, she blows at it a little before taking a sip. A hum slips from her lips, and an unexpected smile tugs at them.
Some movements from the side of you catches your attention. Cordelia sits back down further into the sofa, she shifted a little bit closer to you, a couple of inches away. A blanket lays across her legs and the cup in between her delicate hands. "Whenever you are ready, dear." She says before resting her head against the back of the sofa. You capture Wilehminas eyes, not wanting to disturb her reading, her eyes meeting yours, you silently ask if it was okay. She nods her head a little, before directing her eyes on the blonde and smirks. "Okay then..."
The words on the page escape your mouth, each sentence producing an image in Cordelia's minds. The image played the scene in great detail, her eyes closed, distracted by your voice. It was smooth and sweet, a lot like honey. It was addictive, it made her crave more wanting to hear it for the rest of her life. Wilhemina had also become distracted by your voice, watching your mouth form each separate word. The way the words were formed from your lips captivated her, much like Cordelia she found your voice soothing. Cordelia's head tilted a little closer to your shoulder. You shivered a little, not because you were cold but due to how close the blonde was. Wilhemina had witnessed this, she was hoping that Cordelia had noticed too, Wilhemina had noticed a little shake in your voice, from the smirk on Cordelia's lip, she had noticed too. As one would expect, she did, this was her plan after all. "Are you cold, Y/N?" Cordelia softly interrupts.
You didn't want to admit being nervous around them, so you nodded a little, which you regretted because the blonde scoots closer to you placing the woolly blanket over your lap, a heavyweight landed on your shoulder. Glancing there an eye full of blonde hair greets your eyes, you could smell the coconut shampoo and the whiff of earthiness, it warmed your insides. Wilhemina observes the interaction, she could tell that they were affecting you, and pride filled her up, confident that you felt something between them. "Carry on, dear." The words were shaky, and you were hoping that they couldn't tell, which sadly they did.
You were concluding the chapter when you stopped to release a yawn. "I'm gonna end it here Cordelia. If that's okay with you?" You say, exhaustion visible on your features. Wilhemina sees it, the little twitch in your left eyes and the slow blinking. She had abandoned her book a couple of minutes after you began to read. , it captured her attention and she enjoyed how your voice mimics the characters bringing the story to life.
"Yes, that's fine, dear," Cordelia claims, breaking Wilhemina's attention from you. She was reaching down for her cup, a frown making its way on her face when she realises there was none left. You placed a bookmark on the page you stopped at, placing the book on the coffee table you start to stand up. There was a round of cracking echoing in the room, being in the same position for longer than expected caused your body to stiffen.
"Goodnight, Cordelia. Goodnight, Wilhemina." You gently say, facing each woman, a kind smile from Cordelia and a less stern expression from the Wilhemina. "Goodnight, dear," Cordelia replies, equally soft. "Goodnight, Ms L/N," Wilhemina says, a smirk gracing her lips as she notes your narrowed eyes. Cordelia gives Wilhemina a little questionable look, which Wilhemina brushes off. "Ms Venable, I've told you before. Don't make me say it again." You rasp out, Wilhemina's eyes widen a fraction. The tip of her tongue pokes out, licking her dry lips. Her teeth toy with her bottom lip before she lets it go, it stirred something inside her. The way you spoken with confidence. Walking away with a smirk on your lips you hear a little shuffling. "As I've said before Ms L/N, I like teasing you."
Once the library door closes, you take deep breaths, in and out desperately trying to even out the fast beating in your heart, your legs have a mind on their own as they carry you to your bedroom. A smile settles on your face as you think about the feeling of Cordelia's head against your shoulder, feeling her body heat against you and Wilhemina's intense gaze on you. It made you feel warm. You knew when you were reading that Wilhemina had stopped reading her book and concentrated on you. The atmosphere moments ago was intense when you spoke to Wilhemina. Her words repeating themselves inside your mind. She liked teasing you.
When you left the library, you missed a certain blonde moving to the side of Wilhemina. She curls into Wilhemina , snuggling against her neck placing a light kiss against it. "When do we tell her ?" Cordelia whisper against Wilhemina neck. "Soon, little one. Soon."

Casual Ruin Pt. 5 (Elriel)
Elain's part of the Damnation series.
Last part! I know I said this would be 6/7 parts, but I realized I have no idea what the fuck I had planned to write in those parts, so it's 5 instead hahah. didn't edit the ending whoops
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4
__________________________________________
~Elain~
It's three in the morning when I hear it.
We're laying in bed, and even though I should asleep like the man next to me, I can't stop thinking about how little time we have left.
How has the past month gone by so fast?
It feels like yesterday I was standing on my stoop, watching Azriel open up and tell me things he's since admitted he's never told another person.
It feels like yesterday since I decided that I care for him more than I care about what he does.
But it wasn't yesterday; it was a month ago.
A month that's been filled with dinner dates, soft smiles, laughter, and enough tender moments my heart feels full. He's a
The plane ticket hidden in the bottom of my purse is a constant reminder that this is just a summer fling, that it isn't supposed to mean anything. Two weeks from now, I'm supposed to get on that flight and never look back.
Except it feels impossible.
It broke my heart when I walked away from him a month ago, and that was before he told me the details of his life.
Now I know him.
I know about the way he smiles in the morning and how he shakes his head when he laughs, like he can't believe he's doing so. I've learned how ticklish his ribs are, how he likes his coffee, his favorite type of cigarettes.
I know about his family, how his mother died giving birth to him and his father resented him from the day it happened. I know about the first man he killed, how it made him sick. I know what his tattoos really mean.
And what I never could've expected is that everything I've learned, the good and the bad, have tied me to him in a way that feels permanent.
How am I supposed to just walk away from that?
The thought of never seeing his smile, never feeling his rough hands cup my face with a gentleness he doesn't show the world... it feels like missing a part of me.
And it worries me enough I haven't been able to sleep for the past two nights. Like I'm incapable of wasting a minute, I spend the nights watching him sleep.
Which is why I'm perfectly awake when he pulls me close in his sleep and whispers two words that ruin me.
Ti amo.
Tears well in my eyes as I stay perfectly still, replaying the moment over and over.
He loves me.
It's something I knew--something we both probably knew--ever since that day in the rain, but I think we both never said it because we knew our time is limited.
It's been in every touch, every kiss, every moment where we get caught up just staring at each other.
But I want to tell him, I have to tell him, because however good it makes me feel to hear that from him... I know he needs it more.
He's never been loved--never been anyone's first choice, but he's mine, and I want him to know. And I don't want to be just one more person that leaves him and makes him wondering if he'll ever be enough.
So I start to plan.
~A week later, Azriel~
Well, the worst has happened.
I love the fucking woman.
Now my biggest weakness now walks outside my body, with soft brown eyes and dirty blonde hair and bright smiles that light up the world.
And she's leaving in a week.
It scares the shit out of me.
She scares the shit out of me.
Honestly, I hadn't even realized I was in so deep until she said the words "We're done."
All I remember about that day is feeling I'd been stabbed in the chest and looking down to find the blade but not seeing anything but my own hands.
One moment I was convinced I was dying, the next I was in front of her on her stoop, telling her shit I've never told a living soul.
It wasn't then that I realized I love her, but that was when I realized something maybe even more important. I trust her.
Rule 3's been thrown out the window, and I don't even remember when it happened. Was it when she told me I'm not a monster? Or the first time I noticed the way her lips turn up every time I tell her she's beautiful?
Or maybe it was the first time I laid eyes on her as she stumbled into that opera booth, looking like everything I never knew I wanted.
Either way, I'm about a mile up shit's creek with no fucking paddle.
I trust her, love her, and I've only known her ten weeks. Which reminds me, she's leaving.
Which is irritating, because while the mere thought of watching her leave makes me want to level a building, she's currently acting like nothing's wrong.
She's in the bathroom, putting on red lipstick in a slow, taunting way that makes me want to mess it up. I'm sitting in the chair next to my bed, trying to stay calm.
She's watching me watch her in the mirror, and her eyes meet mine for a split second before she looks away, making me suspicious.
That look... I've seen that look before, more times than I can count.
But never from her.
It's a secret.
She looks like she's hiding something.
"Something you need to tell me?" I ask, putting a hand behind my head to prop it up.
Nodding, she comes to stand at the foot of the bed. "Yep."
I raise a brow. "What is it?"
"I'll tell you tonight if you meet me for dinner."
Suspicion and curiosity make me ask, "Where?"
"La Rosa," she responds casually, making me narrow my eyes. It's outside of the city a bit, a small place on the coast I've never had an interest in owning or visiting.
"I've never been there."
"New experiences are good for the soul," she quips, sliding on her sandals. "Just say you'll meet me."
There's a hint of nerves in her voice, so I say, "Of course, dolce mia."
She smiles, victorious. Then she's bounding over, taking my face between her palms, and pressing her mouth to mine.
Before I can ask what she's up to, she's out the door, calling over her shoulder, "Seven o'clock! I'll meet you there."
I get up and slide my jacket on, slipping my hand in the pocket and toying with the piece of metal I've been carrying around for a month.
Sighing, I take it out and throw it on the counter, knowing that if this life has taught me one thing, it's that it won't make a difference.
~
When seven o'clock rolls around, I'm seated at a table, frowning at my surroundings.
I've definitely never been here.
No man has, I'm willing to bet. At least not on his own volition.
There are flowers everywhere. Spilling out of vases, growing on the vines surrounding the open windows, lining the doors that are open to the patio out back.
Besides that, I guess the place isn't too bad, actually. The lights are soft, the weather's nice, and by the smells coming from tables around me, the food will be good.
Elain's running a few minutes late, but she called and told me to go ahead and order.
Apparently, she's come here before, because she told me what to order her. Odd.
A few minutes after I relay the information to the waitress, I spot her coming in the front door and wave her over.
She's a little flushed, her eyes are bright, and the smile on her face gives no doubt she's excited.
I stand up when she reaches me, kiss her, then ask, "What's going on?"
"Nothing," she says too quickly. "Did you order?"
"Yeah. Have you been here before or something?"
She nods, diverting her eyes down and to the right in the classic tell of a lie.
I sigh, frustration getting the better of me. "Elain, what are you hiding from me?"
Before she can answer, the food comes. Two plates of pasta are set in front of us, and I know instantly I was right about the food being good.
But no matter how good it looks, there's only one thing on my mind.
"Elain."
She waves a hand. "Just eat, Azriel. I promise I'll tell you in like five minutes."
"Why not just tell me now?"
"It's more dramatic this way," she explains, making me sigh again.
Women.
She's going to give me a fucking heart attack with her drama.
A little aggressively, I stab the fork in the pasta, taking a huge bite.
I feel her eyes on me, watching me eat, but I act like I don't notice, mentally counting down the seconds until five minutes is up.
I'm at 263 when she asks, "Do you like it?"
"What?"
Rolling her eyes, she gestures to the plate in front of me. "Do you like it?"
"It's good," I reply honestly, a little surprised. I've lived here long enough to know the best places to eat, and I've never heard more than a decent review about this place.
"I'm glad," she says, full lips tilting up. "Since I made it."
I don't get it. Did she bring it with her? Is that why she was late?
Also, why did we come to a restaurant if she was going to cook?
"What? Why?"
She tilts her head, smile growing.
Right as my still-counting subconscious gets to five minutes, she explains, "Because I work here."
~Elain~
He stares at me, bite of pasta halfway between his mouth and the plate.
I've been almost bursting at the seems the past four days trying to keep the secret.
I mean, given what the man does for a living, I didn't think I'd make it more than an hour. And while he's definitely been suspicious, I made it.
"What?" he finally asks, dark brows furrowing as he leans in.
"I have a lot to say," I tell him. "So don't interrupt me."
His eyes narrow like they always do when I tell him what to do, but I ignore it and start listing off the different secrets I've been keeping.
I start with the most important.
"First, I love you."
The fork clangs against the plate as he drops it.
I smile, biting my lip and trying not to cry at the look on his face.
"I think I have since that first night when we danced in the bar. Or maybe when you took me to the beach. I don't know." Taking a deep breath, I say, "I tried to stop, when I found out... everything. But it was useless, because I was as in love with you then as I am now."
He shakes his head, almost like he's panicked, but I keep going.
"I love you, Azriel. I want to be with you more than I've ever wanted anything. And I can't bear the thought of leaving you. I don't want to."
Gesturing around us, I say, "I got a job here, and my landlord said she can draw up a lease. And before you say anything, I'm not giving anything up. The past months have felt like paradise, and I love it here. I liked my job in New York, but it wasn't anything I'll miss."
His eyes are so wide, it'd be a little funny if I wasn't so serious.
I take a sip of wine and try to puta brave face on. A lump forms in my throat, but I manage to say, "But we never talked about anything long term, so if this isn't what you want... I'll go. I promise. I just wanted you to know that you're... it for me. You're everything to me. I choose you."
He shudders, closing his eyes, and I take in how tight his jaw is, how close he seems to coming unraveled.
Is he freaking out? I definitely am.
After a few moments, I realize he's still waiting on me, so I laugh and say, "You can talk now."
He doesn't.
He just opens his eyes and stares at me, the shock in his gaze clear to read.
Nerves blossom. I was so sure he'd be happy, but maybe he isn't ready. Voice turning shaky, I ask, "Is this what you want?"
Slowly, he shakes his head, but before I can panic, he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a key, holding it out between us. "I want you to live with me, not at the townhouse."
All the nerves fly out the door, and I laugh, not quite able to believe it.
How long has he been carrying this around?
The tears finally spilling over as I take the key from him. "Okay."
He brushes my cheeks off with his thumb, looking at me like he's never seen anything more beautiful.
Azriel's quiet for a moment, and I give him time, knowing that whatever he wants to say is hard for him.
"Ti amo. Mi spaventa così tanto."
I love you. So much is scares me.
"You? Scared? I don't believe it."
I'm trying to joke and lighten the mood, but he's completely serious as he shakes his head, cupping my jaw with his hand. "You scare the shit out of me, Elain."
My heart clenches, and I fight a fresh wave of tears as I lean into his touch. "You scare me, too."
"But you're not leaving."
It's said like a hopeful promise, like something he needs to hear again and again to accept it's true.
I shake my head. "I'm not leaving," I whisper.
He finally smiles, that big smile I'm positive he only gives me, and leans over the table to kiss me softly. "Say it again."
"I love you."
He kisses me again, and I slide my hands in his hair and kiss him back, feeling like everything before now has led up to this. He's the grand finale, the one I didn't know I was waiting for.
I pull back a little, just far enough to see his reaction as I whisper, "Meet me in the bathroom."
His eyes flare and his mouth drops open, and I laugh as I get up from my seat and try to walk nonchalantly towards the back.
This hadn't been part of the plan, but I've told him I love him, and now... I want to prove it.
Plus, I don't know what it is about him, but he feeds the adventurous side of me like nothing else.
I can feel him watching me from the table as I make my way across the restaurant.
Thankfully, the place is busy tonight, so I don't think anyone notices when, as soon as I shut the bathroom door, he rises to follow me.
A moment later, he slips in with me, taking in the dim lights, closed stall, low music. He flips the lock, and it's like it snaps the thread between us, descending us into chaos.
He's on me in a second, arms wrapping around me and lifting me. My legs bracket his hips as he pushes me up against the wall and traps my hands above my head.
"Say it again," he demands breathlessly, eyes bright and full of heat.
I nip his lower lip, then kiss it softly. "I love you, Azriel."
His mouth crashes into mine, unrestrained and demanding and deep enough I lose myself in him.
My hands are in his hair, his are pushing up the hem of my dress.
There's a brief moment of adjusting, and then he's easing into me. His eyes are on me, his lips are parted, and as I tighten around him, he makes a deep rumbling sound. It's the hottest thing I've ever seen.
"You're mine," I tell him, tilting my hips to take him deeper. "And I'm yours."
He shudders, eyes going black. "You're mine."
His hips claim mine, then, pulling out and thrusting back in, moving me up the wall. I tighten my fingers in his hair as he hits a spot deep inside me, and he groans.
Moving his hands to my hips, he brings me down as he thrusts up, and I moan, then slap a hand over my mouth.
I work here, for God's sake.
"This is not very professional," I mutter, smiling when his lips twitch.
"No," he agrees, thrusting into me harder. "And it's definitely inappropriate."
I clamp my lips together, pressing my hand to my mouth again to stifle the involuntary whimper I let out.
Azriel grins, tugging on my earlobe with his teeth and whispering, "You might need to go to confessional again."
Rolling my eyes, I move my hands to his shoulders, then lean in to lick up the column of his neck. "Between the two of us, I'd say you're more likely to end up on your knees tonight."
He laughs, tugging my head back to kiss me again. His tongue meets mine in a wet, deep slide that makes me shiver. His hips brush mine. His hands hold me just right, keeping me against him.
Pulling back, he brushes his lips over mine and whispers, "I love you."
The easy, conversational pace is abandoned, and we're moving harder against each other, the only sounds our labored breathing and muffled moans.
He brings a hand to cover my mouth, and I cover his with mine, and we're in tandem, both of us lost in the other.
He comes when I do, driving deeply into me and stilling, his head buried in my neck.
We spend a while like that, and when I eventually slide down the wall, we take our time adjusting our clothes. He keeps stopping me to kiss my shoulder or brow, and I waste too much time just looking at him.
When we're both ready, he extends a hand and grins. "Let's go home."
I smile, unable to help it. "Let's go home."

Warm inside. / MYG
pairing | yoongi x reader
summary | yet another one that features yoongi being cute in bed
genre/warnings | disgustingly fluffy + one suggestive line towards the end
words | 1,080
note | i was thinking i need to find a way to mention cupping therapy and the only way to do that is by having yoongi shirtless somehow… yeah all that bc of some cupping marks on his back i need help?
edit: this was posted the day before bh released the statement about yoongi’s shoulder and it features yoongi complaining about it. bad timing i guess but i just wanted to say it wasn’t my intention to take advantage of the situation. sorry!
You’re only three minutes into the ride home when you notice you miss the feeling of Yoongi’s hand on you while you drive.
It’s such a simple and familiar action — his hand on your tight, fingers caressing lightly whether it’s you or him driving —, so common you’ve associated being in a car with his unsettling hands on you at all times. So automatic you’re confident it’s one of those endearing things Yoongi does without thinking — one of the thousands you’ve had and still have the pleasure and privilege to figure out, one by one.
Time slows down when the only thing your brain can focus on is the fact that, this time around, these thoughts don’t immediately translate into a permanent pout on your lips, feeling miserable for a whole weekend or longing for something you know won’t happen anytime soon.
This time, it calms your heart to realize he’s home. To think he’s such a close distance from you makes the world look a bit more colorful, almost as if someone has adjusted the tones to be brighter and a little bit more saturated. Just enough for the silliest of things to bring a smile to your face. Suddenly, everything’s in bloom, there are nothing but happy dogs walking down the street and sappy love songs playing on the radio.
You hate it how much you love them.
This is only intensified when you get home, by the way Yoongi’s shoes are haphazardly thrown by the door and the obvious perfume trail he leaves behind despite not wearing much of it. How ridiculous is it to think you’re so weak for him and having him around you notice and list these little things all the time — the laptop on the sofa with headphones on top of it, the leftover iced coffee above the sink, the shirt on the back of one of the dining room chairs, keys and wallet on the table. None of this happens when you’re alone — they only happen when he’s home.
It should drive you mad, yes. You would be the first to give whoever it is a dirty look, show how much you disapprove of such messy behavior. You know this because you’ve done it before — to people you have shared an apartment with, to your closest friends when they visit, to your parents whenever you go back to your hometown, to past boyfriends who could never clean after themselves.
But, for some reason, not to him. You never got mad because Yoongi would be the first to apologize for being sloppy and leaving things behind. He’d place a kiss on your shoulder and say he would clean up later like everyone else says, but he actually does. Not because he’s an inherently neat person, but because you like it that way. You are the orderly person in this relationship and he just wants to see you happy at all times.
So, instead of picking up all the things and taking them to their correct places by the door, in the office and hanging in the closet, you leave them behind as well. You laugh at yourself for doing this — for adding your own mess to Yoongi’s by leaving you shoulder bag dangling just next to his shirt, your keys on top of his, sunglasses right next to the bunch. Like him, you would deal with them later, when your priorities have been taken care of.
Today, your priority is him. Just Yoongi. Nothing else.
The trail of perfume you felt earlier is replaced by that grapefruit scented shower gel he loves the closer you get to the bedroom. There, you notice a pile of body half covered by the white sheets and you open the en-suite door just to confirm Yoongi has taken a shower before going to bed. You desperately want to join him and move around quickly and quietly to gather some clothes to freshen up. Even showering when the bathroom is already humid and slightly steamy makes you warm inside and you swear to all the gods you’ve lost it this time.
When you leave the bathroom with nothing but a loose and thin t-shirt, the steps that take you to the bed seem longer than ever. You pull the sheets to cover yourself, snuggling closer to Yoongi’s body, and that’s when you finally notice there’s nothing covering his back. You touch the skin there, hands hot from the summer weather and the shower against cold skin, and pull the sheets further to cover his shoulders and avoid a cold.
“Get your burning hot hands off of me,” Yoongi hums lowly, contradicting his words by reaching for your hand with his and dragging it across his bare chest, bringing you closer. “Do you know how long it took for me to cool down after the shower?”
“Of course…” You giggle, draping a leg right where his hip began. “You take boiling hot showers, what can I do?”
“Boiling hot showers are the best,” Yoongi defends himself, sighing contently and pulling your hand even closer. “Almost as great as you are.”
Yoongi is a little bitter he can’t see the smile he’s feeling on his back right now.
“Did my jet lagged baby get some rest today?”
“He did.” Yoongi nods and lets out a breathy laugh that moves his shoulders and makes your chin collide with it. His smile immediately disappears from his face to be replaced by a cute frown. “That… Is a little sore.”
You whisper a tiny sorry before creating a small distance between you and the round reddish bruises near his shoulder blades. You’re a little more delicate now, touching them gently and leaving a soft kiss there. “How’s your shoulder?”
“Ah,” he moans again, clearly dissatisfied. “I’ve had it worse before, it’s fine. It’s probably a good thing we have some time off of performances now. It’ll give this thing some rest.”
You kiss the cupping mark again, wishing with all your being it would just fade and stop feeling sore. “Good.”
“It’s also probably a good thing we were very slow and lazy yesterday, because I don’t think this thing could have taken anything harder than that.”
You chuckle, leaving yet another kiss on his back. “Noted. All soft until this thing heals. I’m totally okay with that.”
“Yeah, yeah… Now will your body to cool down too, otherwise I’m going to have to let go of you and I don’t want to.”

Chapter 1: Emma
"Silly things do cease to be silly if they are done by sensible people in an impudent way." ~Emma, Jane Austen.
You have your feet kicked up on your desk, reading a novel you've read a thousand times before. It's the only thing you could do when sitting in the archives of the United States Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia. Sometimes people brought things in that needed to be archived, but most of the time, you sit at your desk, reading a book.
It isn't exciting by any means, and if any of the DEA agents would be bothered to file their own reports, you probably wouldn't be needed.
But, DEA agents are notoriously lazy, and if they can hire someone to do the work for them, they'll do it.
So that's how you ended up here, sitting at your desk, re-reading Emma by Jane Austen when a familiar face leans over your book.
You look up and see Javier Peña leaning over your book, looking at the page you're currently on.
"There are people, who the more you do for them, the less they will do for themselves," he reads aloud and you frown, closing your book, but not before dog-earing the page.
"What do you want, Peña?" You ask, annoyance tinging your voice.
He throws a stack of papers down on your desk and you pick them up instantly, flipping through to see where it should be sorted. "You know, that quote is very apt." You just roll your eyes as he says this.
"Yeah? Would you like to file this instead?" you ask, and he puts his hands up.
"I would, but I'm afraid of getting yelled at," he says with a wink.
You stand and walk into the archives, quickly depositing the report in its proper place. "File my fist up your ass…" you mutter. You walk back to the desk and Javier has your book in his hands.
"He thought much of the evils of the journey for her, and not a little of the fatigues of his own horses-" you rush over and grab the book from him, hitting him on the leg with it.
"Maldito pelotudo," you say as he jumps from your desk, feet landing on the floor loudly. "You're gonna make me lose my page."
Javier rolls his eyes and says, "Because you haven't read that book a thousand times."
You just hit him with your book again.
"Vanity, working on a weak head, produces every sort of mischief."
~Emma, Jane Austen
"So, what happened with you and Javi yesterday?" you hear one of the women in the break room ask loudly, and the other woman shushes her.
"Shh! Not so loud!" she whispers, though not that quiet herself.
You stand outside the door, drinking your frankly disgusting, cold coffee while you listen.
The two women giggle and the second woman says, "It was nothing. Really. He took me home last night, and left the next morning. It's not a big deal!"
The other woman gasps and you roll your eyes. "That's not nothing! I've been trying to get his attention for a week! You bring him coffee once and he has sex with you?" she asks, before you hear her slapping the arm of her friend. "You're so lucky!"
You grimace as you take the last gulp of your coffee, and turn to enter. The first woman starts to say something, but cuts herself off when you walk through the already ajar door. You give the two women a tight lipped smile, and the first woman, the one who was talking about wanting to have sex with Peña nods, while the second woman looks away, her pale cheeks turning the same of colour red as her lipstick. You pour yourself another cup of coffee and lean against the counter, and the first woman glares at you.
"Sorry," the second woman quietly says, and you smile as the two women shuffle out of the room, blushing furiously. Peña walks in after them, looking behind him as he enters, then back at you.
"What did you do?" he asks and you shrug.
"I could ask you the same thing," you reply and Javier raises an eyebrow at you as he pours himself a cup of disgusting coffee. "I see you're making your way around the office," you say into your mug, looking straight ahead and not at Peña.
You hear him scoff and you see him lean next to you out of the corner of your eye.
"What, jealous?" he teases. "You want me to put in a good word?"
You roll your eyes but only to distract yourself from your cheeks heating up. "'Better to be without sense than misapply it as you do,'" you quote, looking up at Peña as you take a long sip from your coffee. You set the mug down in the sink and move to leave, but stop, half turning around as you say, "Besides. Why would I be jealous of you when I could be jealous of them?"
you shuffle out of the break room as fast as you can, your heart pounding in your chest, your cheeks buzzing with embarrassment as you flee whatever consequences you may have to face.
"Why not seize the pleasure at once?— How often is happiness fooled by preparation, foolish preparation!" ~Emma, Jane Austen.
You're sitting at your desk, reading the final chapter of Emma, your feet kicked up on your desk. It's been a couple days since you told Peña you were into him. Well, not into him. You at least wanted to have sex with him. He's come in a couple times to give you his work, and you've chatted idly with him, but there's been this underlying tension between the two of you.
As you're reading the final pages of your book, you feel a hand rest on your shoulder and you jump in your seat, your ankles leaving the desk for a moment before slamming back down.
"¡Ah, chingar!" You exclaim, putting your feet on the ground to stop the pain that's radiating from your ankles. You look up and see Peña above you, a guilty look on his face.
"You okay?" he asks, and you nod.
"Yeah, just don't scare me like that," you say, huffing as you close your book and put it on your desk. "What do you want, Peña?"
He looks around the room, trying to be casual but you see the hesitation in his eyes. "Come with me."
You frown, but do as he asks, letting him lead you into the back of the archives, and through a door into a small closet. You hear the door lock and your eyebrows shoot up.
"Peña, what-"
You're cut off as his lips smash into yours, his moustache tickling your top lip, and all hesitation you may have had goes right out the window. You throw your arms around his neck and pull him closer, which means your back is pressed to the door behind you. His body is flush against yours and you can feel his erection against your thigh.
You moan into his mouth and start undoing his belt, and he moves his lips to your neck, pulling down your shirt to suck and nip at the skin.
"You have no idea," Peña says into your shoulder, "How long I've been wanting to do this."
"And- ah- and why didn't you do it earlier?" you ask, your hips jerking up as he bites down on your collar bone.
He chuckles. "Well- oh fuck- I didn't know you were into-" he cuts himself off as you finally pull his hard cock from his jeans, and he moans. You move your hands to start undoing your own belt. "And, I haven't had much time these last two- fuck- days."
You grab his chin and pull his face up to yours again, giving him a bruising kiss as you pull your own cock free from its confines, and you both moan softly as you press them together. You grasp your hand around both of them and start pumping up and down.
"Oh, [Y/N]...." Peña moans.
You and Peña are no longer kissing, but breathing heavily into each other's mouths as the two of you fuck your fist together. You roll up your shirts as your hips start to stutter and you moan quietly into Javier's mouth, "Madre jodida polla de perra, Peña."
Peña laughs lightly before groaning, leaning forward so his mouth is on yours again, and he comes into your fist. You follow closely behind when you feel Javier's cum splatter on your stomach.
Peña pulls back, but just enough so he can breathe. You feel his breath on your lips as you pant as well, looking into his beautiful dark brown eyes.
You reach your hand up between you two and lick the cum from your fingers, and you see Peña's pupils widen slightly in the darkness of the closet. It isn't pitch black with there being a small, almost burnt out bulb in the corner, but it's not light enough to see many details.
Peña leans in and kisses you, hard and needy, and you kiss back, but he pulls away before you can do anything else. You let out a small groan as you hear paper rustling and you moan softly when you feel paper on your soft cock and stomach.
"I hope that's not important," you murmur to him, and he pauses for a moment before he continues to clean you up.
"I'm sure it's not," he says.
You lean forward and mouth at his neck lightly, not enough to leave a bruise, and you mutter against his skin, as threatening as you can, "It better not be," but it's hard to be threatening with your dick out.
"It is difficult for the prosperous to be humble." ~Emma, Jane Austen.

24. Enji Todoroki
Theme: Monster hunter
Kinks: Outdoor sex, rope play, voyeurism (if you squint), oral (giving), face fucking, cream pie, slight breeding kink (it’s Enji we’re talking about, come on)
Masterlist
This was supposed to come out on Saturday, but if you read a post I wrote earlier I’m visiting my boyfriend whom I haven’t seen a long while. This one and the next chapter is going to running late, but I plan on catching up with the rest so that everything else will be posted on schedule.
With that being said, ENDEAVOR FUCKERS COME GET YOUR FOOD!
EDIT: 04/26/2021 Idiots really be out here not paying attention to when a character starts giving somebody a blowjob and they start talking. Like you can’t talk with your mouth full. It’s me. I’m idiots.
You had to crane your neck to look at the man. He was taller—no. That wasn't right. He was taller than tall. He was enormous. When you left to answer the door to your cottage, you didn't know what or who you would be expecting. Certainly not this. Hair red as flames, eyes the sea's color after a storm, and a body completely encased in hard muscle. The stranger was clad in leather armor and a wool coat. He wore a grimace that would make babies weep.
"C-Can I help you, sir?"
"Enji, here! Let me through. I can address the situation better than you can!"
Another stranger brushed past the one standing in your doorway. He was blonde, shorter than his partner, and held himself differently than the other.
"Hi, I'm Keigo, and this is my boss, Enji. We heard a rumor that you could help us," said the blonde stranger.
"W-What can I help you with?" You stuttered.
"You see, we were in the area—"
"We hunt monsters," said the enormous one, Enji.
Blood drained from your face. 'Monster hunters'? They hunted monsters—vampires, ghouls, werewolves, succubi and incubi, and, of course, witches. You slowly backed away from the door.
"Relax, we're not here for you. There aren't any complaints or bounties out on you," said Keigo.
"There are only two kinds of witches, dead ones and the ones who haven't lost their humanity." Enji's eyes looked at you up and down. "And you don't appear to be the former."
"What my boss means to say is that you are the kind of witch who helps people. You don't summon ghosts or dig up graves of the recently deceased for their bones, do you?"
You rapidly shook your head. "NO!"
"We were recommended your services from someone in the local village. They said you were an expert in this particular matter," said Keigo.
Without invitation, the pair of hunters crossed the threshold of your door. You ran to the kitchen to put a kettle on the fire. If your guests were going to barge in and make themselves comfortable, you were at least going to make yourself a cup of tea to calm your nerves.
"Twenty miles from here," said Enji, "A trickster spirit has been causing havoc. Farm animals have gone missing and later found strewn on top of barns. Guts missing. Women are getting pregnant at the same time without any one of them committing adultery. Shrines and courthouses have had their doors blocked by piles of manure. They say it's a malevolent spirit brought along by a tradesman. They also say that your protection and banishing spells are the best in the area."
"Well, I don't know about that," you said.
Your palms were getting clammy with sweat. You made three cups of tea and set an antique tray on the coffee table between you. You focused on pouring an even amount in each cup though you could not ignore the pair of eyes lingering on you. You could feel a pair of eyes on your every movement, but you couldn't tell which one was staring. You pushed two cups towards the men and settled yourself down in a cozy armchair, taking your tea with you. You expected the monster hunters to rudely throw your tea over their shoulders or inspect the drink and the cups and the saucers to boot. But they didn't. Keigo and Enji were perfectly comfortable and trusted you enough to drink without suspicion of you trying to kill them or turn them into animals.
"Has anyone seen this creature, because I've never heard anything like it," you said.
"Unfortunately, no," said Enji. He sipped his tea with the air of a gentleman. He certainly didn't look like one because of his size and his leathers, but he pretended to be one as he drank your tea.
"The thing is, trickster spirits usually dismember cattle or get women pregnant, but rarely do both," you said. "So, you might be looking at one trickster and a hustler who's telling the women he knocks up to blame the creature."
"It can't be both?" Asked Keigo.
You shook your head again. "It's either one or the other. Disemboweling cattle and impregnating random mortal women are two different natures. I will eat my broomstick if I turn out to be wrong."
"How soon can you pack?" It was Enji this time.
You furrowed your brows. You glanced over at Keigo, who seemed equally surprised. This hadn't been something they planned together.
"Are you expecting me to go with you?"
"We can't cast spells like you can, and you seem to be more knowledgeable about the subject than us."
"But I—" You started to protest only for Enji to stop you.
"You'll be compensated for your troubles," said Enji.
He fixed you with a piercing look. You swallowed hard and sank into your chair.
"Can I finish my tea first?" You took a sip.
Enji gave you two hours to get things together. You made a pack that should last you a couple of weeks. You didn't know if Enji realized that you had no horse and would have to walk all the way with them. They probably had horses but weren't going to share. By the end of this, you were going to wring as much compensation out of them as you could. You secured all the windows, hid all your valuables in the floorboards, and locked the front door. You heard a pair of horses neighing at your gates and sighed to yourself.
Enji and Keigo were getting ready to hop on. Enji grabbed your bag and handed it off to Keigo, who tied it with his saddlebag. To compensate for his large size, Enji's horse was a Clydesdale, a huge horse with a neatly trimmed mane. Enji held his hand out to you. Confused, you took it. His large hands held unto your waist, and he lifted you unto the saddle without effort. Like you weighed no more than a couple of grapes. Then, Enji sat down in the saddle with you. Your legs dangled off the side rather helplessly. You looked behind Enji's massive shoulder over at Keigo, who looked just as confused as you and shrugged his shoulders. Enji pulled he reigns of his horse and brought it to a trot.
That night, the three of you sat around a fire. Enji stood up and said something about getting extra firewood. You waited until he was outside of earshot.
"What the hell is the deal with your partner? Is he always like this?"
"He is the way that he is because of his past. He used to be a bureaucrat if you can believe it," said Keigo.
"I don't."
"It's the truth whether you believe me or not. Enji spent most of his life kissing ass and licking boots. He pushed his children away because of his politicking. Drove his wife insane. One day, he had to travel to the far east of the kingdom because his king wanted him to, despite his family's protests. Enji went anyway. When he came back, his wife was dead, and his children moved away. He turned to fighting monsters, the kind that killed his wife, to make up for the bullshit he'd done. His kids still don't talk to him, but he makes sure they're doing alright."
You stared at Keigo.
"You asked why he's like that, and I told you. Sorry if it's over-sharing," said Keigo.
Enji returned with a bundle of wood. His back was turned towards you as he rekindled the bonfire. You remembered how his eyes looked at you. What did he see?
Dawn came sooner than you thought. You were on the road again, and by late afternoon you arrived at your destination. The village was smaller than yours and was warier of your abilities. You salted the roof of every building, including the ones that still had dried blood on them from the last time an animal carcass had been dumped. You placed a charm over every door, front and back.
Then, all the hunters had to do was wait.
You lurked behind a stack of barrels and crates as soon as the sun began to set. Enji and Keigo set up shop in the village square. The creature, whatever it was, had no room to go anywhere. With every door bolted and roof blessed with salt, it had nowhere to hide. Night descended slowly as if to give the creature more time to rest or find a new hiding spot. Lights flickered out in every window in the village square; all the others followed suit. You clutched a long knife in your hand.
Out of a barn, it came bursting through wood and hay. It had a long body but very little muscle mass, like a snake with four legs and antlers like a deer driven through moss. Its hiss echoed through the echoed and made the rafters of buildings shudder. You were thrown to the ground by the power of its roar. You fumbled to your knees to get a good look at the creature who'd been terrorizing the poor villagers. At the beast ripped through the barn, salt scattered off the roof and landed on its serpentine body. The thing fell to the ground, twisting and writhing on its back while trying to shake off the salt.
Keigo and Enji rushed over, weapons in hand. Swords glinted like silver fangs in the night's darkness. Though weak, the creature managed to roll unto his feet and charged at them. But Enji and Keigo were faster than that.
Being smaller and younger, Keigo slid around to the creature's side and plunged his sword into its stomach. Or at least the approximate location of where its stomach was located. Its body was so long and thin, it was hard to tell which organs lay where. The monster was about to swerve and turn its jagged teeth on him when Enji's long claymore cut through its neck at the base of the skull. The village square was so quiet that you heard metal plunging deep into flesh and the snap of bone. You watched by moonlight Enji's foot crack open the skull and drive his sword deeper into its neck. The creature squealed like a pig at the slaughterhouse. It clawed and snapped its teeth, but there was no moving. Keigo pulled his sword out and pushed it back in. Eventually, the creature stopped moving.
The following morning, the sleepy village woke to the grotesque smell of demon flesh burning on a pyre. You helped Enji and Keigo erect it in a barren field and set it ablaze with a simple fire spell. Though they hated the smell, they were at least grateful to have the monster disposed of. Now, they just had to worry about one other problem. You looked around at the crowd that gathered to watch the fell beast burn. Although you couldn't tell how many were secretly still within the first month, several women looked pregnant.
"Let me stay a while to find out who's getting these women pregnant. This isn't natural, you told Enji.
"Very well," he said. "I'll have a talk with the mayor about letting us stay in his barn."
"You don't have to stick around. Your job's done here, isn't it? They paid you, right?"
"Would you rather walk twenty miles back to your cottage?" Enji asked.
"N-no," you answered.
"Then, we're staying."
That was that. You tried to coax Enji into leaving. You didn't need protection, and you were okay with walking home. Hell, you could have paid for a horse or even a donkey to ride back since he did give you one-third of the money earned from slaying the creature. Enji heard none of your protests, folded his arms across his massive chest, and looked sternly down at you. You felt dwarfed in his presence. His smoldering eyes were not suited for it, and he was insistent in ways you couldn't believe. Keigo said so himself one evening into your third night at the village.
"He's never been like this before. Are you sure you didn't cast a love spell on him, Miss Hocus Pocus?" Asked Keigo.
"No!" You said vehemently and tossed a balled-up dirty sock at him. "That is highly unethical, to say the least. I would never manipulate someone's emotions like that!"
"Find anything?"
You interviewed every woman who had gotten pregnant. They conceived at almost the exact time. That wouldn't usually be an issue if it was winter or a recent festival had taken place. Neither hadn't. They couldn't blame lousy weather for sequestering them with bored husbands or lovers. The fact that they got pregnant at almost the same time disturbed you the most. A couple had already terminated the pregnancies because of embarrassment, but you didn't blame them. Threw a small wrench in your investigation, though.
You let yourself out of the humble cottage where a woman told her story to you. You pinched the bridge of your nose and sighed. Enji was waiting for you by the cottage's fence.
"None of the stories match up. Now that they can't blame the monster, they came up with their own lies. Babies don't just magically appear out of nowhere. Someone is getting them pregnant. They're either protecting them or too embarrassed to admit who it is. It certainly isn't any of their husbands and lovers, that I can tell you."
You and Enji walked over to the only tavern in the area. It was the only well-built thing in the village, aside from the mayor's house and the town hall. A few men clapped Enji on the back in gratitude for saving their livestock, but they never noticed you. Both of you took a seat at the bar. Enji paid for your drink since nobody seemed to care that you lent a helping hand with the monster. Enji's drinks were on the house. The beer was a little stale, but not the worst you ever had.
A couple swigs in and Enji started asking you questions.
"Where did you learn your Craft?"
"From my father," you answered.
"Your father? I thought it was passed down maternally?
You slumped in your seat. "It is in some cases. My mother never showed up, and that left my father to raise me by himself. She left the day after she gave birth and never returned. My father is a good man and even better witch." You downed your mug of beer. "Have you ever killed a witch yourself, Enji?" You asked.
Enji looked over at his mug. His eyes became steely and set in stone. They lingered on your neck before traveling up to your eyes.
"Once, but I wouldn't call her a witch. She gave folks like you a bad name. She was an awful hag. Like to turn lost or kidnapped children into swine and sell them at marketplaces where they were taken to slaughterhouses. When she was bored, she disguised herself as a beautiful woman and danced naked around a bonfire. She lured men who would hear her. She slept with them to drain them of their virility. By the time I had gotten there, the village was in misery."
"What did you do to her?" You almost didn't want to know the answer, but there was small comfort in that Enji didn't compare you to an evil hag.
Enji drained his mug in one go. He practically slammed it on the counter. All but two minutes passed before another appeared in his hand. Enji drank half of it before saying anything at all.
"I lay in wait for her after I followed some kids into the woods. They were lured there by one of her magic spells. I kept the kids in a net so they wouldn't go into the house. She tried to kill me with a knife, cut my arms up, but she didn't stand a chance. She hadn't been prepared for a fully grown monster on her doorstep instead of three kids. I took a chain hanging off her rafters and strangled her. I cut out her heart, burned it, and. Then set the rest of the house on fire too. I dragged the kids back to their parents without too much trauma. As far as I'm aware, they haven't had any problems ever since."
You stared into your beer mug, which was about halfway empty by this point. You knocked it back and slammed it on the counter. Enji bought you another. About half an hour into your drinking, Enji left the seat next to yours to take a piss. You stared into your mug again when you felt someone pull up to the bar on the other side of you. He was young, handsome, and wore a broad smile. His sandy-blonde hair was pushed back away from his face in a way that reminded you of Keigo, but his eyes were the wrong color. Blue-colored crystals beamed at you. The color of his eyes was beautiful, but they left you unnerved.
"You're seeing the monster hunter, Enji, right? You're his wife or something?"
"What? No, I'm not his anything. He asked me for help, and I agreed. I was pleasantly compensated. With money." You added sharply in case the young fool tried to twist your words.
"I see," the stranger said. "I thought that someone as pretty as you wouldn't get involved with a man old enough to be your father."
"I don't see how it's any concern of yours, fop," you sniped.
The young man bit his lower lip. You thought you saw his hand disappear into his vest, but you had a couple of drinks in you and couldn't tell for certain.
"Well, well, well. The little white witch has some spunk. Here, I thought you were just a mistress, tagging along because of the old man's jealousy. Now I see that you've got quite the fire in you."
You wanted to gag. It would be a simple task to make him vomit in turn or make him stink of skunk for the rest of his life. Your father always taught you that curses should only be used when absolutely necessary. Unfortunately, being rude and horny didn't qualify as absolutely necessary.
"How bout you ditch the old man and come with me. I have some friends with some good stuff. The best wine you've ever had. What do you say?" The young man continued to pester.
You had just opened your mouth when Enji's hand appeared out of nowhere. The man stood beside you and reached for your mug. He brought it to his lips and drained the last of your beer.
"I think she's outgrown your company," Enji growled. "You should move along."
The stranger reluctantly got out of his seat and walked away. He still wore a small on his face as he did so.
"I think we should head out. I don't think we should meddle in the village's personal affairs. It'll sort itself out eventually," said Enji.
"But—"
"It shouldn't concern you."
You didn't want to leave, but some part of you realized that Enji was right. You had no clues, and none of the women were going to tell you the truth. You didn't live here, so why spend so much time and effort on people weren't really your concern? If they really needed you, they could come and pay for it. Still, you were a little reluctant to pack and leave the villagers and their unsolved mystery behind. You waited by the horses as Enji and Keigo finished some last-minute business with the mayor. What they could be discussing, you could hardly venture to say. When it came time for you all to climb on, Enji handed you over to Keigo instead of helping you unto his Clydesdale. The change was odd, but you didn't overthink it.
A couple hours into the ride, you noticed Enji wiping his brow more than usual. It was a mild day and, for the most part, was covered by the trees from the sun. He didn't glance at you. At sunset, Enji took his horse and pack and traveled a bit further than you all. He set up his own camp where you and Keigo couldn't see him.
"What's he doing? Wouldn't it be better to camp together? That can't be very safe," you said to Keigo.
"He's…feeling a bit under the weather. Doesn't want to spread it to either of us." Keigo's answer would have satisfied anyone else.
"He was perfectly fine all day," you counted. "What could he have caught?"
You stood up and started in the direction where Enji disappeared. Keigo hopped in front of you a moment later. He spread his arms out as if that would be enough to deter you.
"I can't let you do that, Y/N. He told me to keep you safe, so that's what I'm—"
You grabbed a handful of sleeping powder from the satchel hanging on your waist. You usually carried an assortment of these spell powders on you in case of emergencies. While your life wasn't in danger, Keigo was stubborn. You cradled the lavender powder in your hand and blew a puff of air into it. Your hand was aligned with his face to blow the powder into it. Keigo coughed and wheezed for a minute before his eyelids drew closed. Keigo was snoring face down in the dirt in less than two minutes.
You trekked through the woods, snapping every twig along the way. Through the bushes, you spotted a smaller campfire and then a horse tether to an oak tree. Enji stood at the farthest end of his encampment. His back was turned towards you. You tip-toed quietly to avoid startling him. The closer you stepped, the more awkward the scene became. Enji's right arm was shaking with effort while his left hand braced against a tree. He was panting and grunting. But what shocked you was the way he said 'your' name. It didn't take very long for you to figure out what he was doing and why he camped away from you guys.
"Fuck, Y/N."
At first, you thought he noticed you creeping on him from behind. With an animalistic groan and a quiet splatter, you realized that he finished himself off with your name on his tongue. Enji leaned his forehead against the trunk. He moaned as if in pain. He looked down, swore, and started again.
You took a few steps closer.
“Enji?" You called out.
You were within arms' length of him when Enji turned around. His face was red as hair, but not nearly as red as the bulging head of his cock. You blushed immediately and swallowed hard at its size. Enji didn't move his hand, which fisted his cock, but he didn't remove his hand and hide.
"The man put something…in your drink this afternoon. I was coming back when I saw him pour a vial of pink potion in your mug."
You remembered the stranger and how he pressed and prodded. You thought you saw his hand dig into his vest. However, you'd been drinking and couldn't tell for sure. It dawned on you that Enji drank your laced beer before you made a terrible mistake. You shuddered, thinking about what could have happened had you drank it before Enji could get to it.
"You're in pain…because of me. You saved me from getting drugged and raped by a stranger. That love potion…is causing this, just as it's caused all of those pregnancies in the village?"
You watched the beads of sweat roll down Enji's face and neck. Enji nodded.
"You should go back. Keigo will protect you from me. I shouldn't be around you when I'm like this," said Enji.
His eyes flickered to your chest, then he forced them back to your face; they trailed down your neck again. Enji snapped his eyes shut and started to turn around. You grabbed his right arm and sank to your knees.
"You let yourself be drugged to save me. You're in pain. I'm a healer, so," you took a deep breath, "let me help you."
Enji didn't give you a warning before shoving himself into your mouth. Your jaw was already open wide for him, but that didn't keep them from straining with the effort. He was thick as a horse cock, veiny, and reached the back of your throat. Enji held your head between his large hands as he snapped his hips into your mouth. You struggled to breathe through your nose while Enji thoroughly fucked your throat.
He growled like an animal. The sound erupting from his throat almost drowned out the desperate whines coming from yours. You laved your tongue over him and sucked in your cheeks to help things move along. You clawed at his thighs then held unto his hips. They moved faster, snapping into your mouth without hesitation. Enji's vigor was nothing like you seen or felt before. His cock filled your mouth and stretched you open without even trying.
"Brace yourself, Y/N. I'm about to come. Be a good girl and let me come down your throat," Enji growled.
A second later, your face was thrust into his crotch. Your nose brushed against the forest of curly red hair. His balls felt hot against your chin. Last but not least, Enji's cock reached all the way back into your mouth. You could feel him bulging in your throat. Your jaws ached as your mouth swelled up with his cum. The substance leaked out of the corner of your mouth. Enji did not pull out until the rest dripped down the inside of your throat. You were the one to pant like a dog in heat when he finally pulled out.
You gasped when your senses came back to you. Enij's chest was still heaving for breath, and sweat rolled down his exposed skin. His armor was ditched in a pile near his campfire. His gray shirt stuck to his skin where his sweat soaked through. Still protruding from his black trousers was his red cock.
"Shit. This is going to be a lot harder than I thought," you said in all seriousness.
"Wait here."
Enji didn't bother to tuck himself in before walking to his pack. He pulled out a length of rope and carried it back. You tried not to stare at his member as it bobbed freely in his long strides back towards you.
Enji threw the down at the base of the tree. His broad hands took you by the shoulders and pinned your back against it. Next, they went to work on your clothes. Enji snipped the corset laces at your end with a knife on his belt. His hands tore open your shift and skirt to make way for him. Once most of your skin was exposed to him, Enji grabbed your hands, pulled them above your head, and tied them with rope. To one end, you. At the other end, he looped around the nearest branch and fastened a knot there. Your feet could barely touch the ground when he finished.
Your legs were quickly spread and hoisted over his hips. Enji lined himself up to your slit. The angry, blunt head spread open your cunt, lubricated by the juices freely flowing. Enji's hands cupped each of your ass cheeks and squeezed hard as he bottomed out. He felt so much more prominent in your throat than in your cunt, but that didn't feel less substantial. Enji's cock still was hard, thick, and ridged. Your walls fluttered around him.
"You wet for me already?" Enji wiped a bead of sweat from his brow.
He didn't give you a chance to reply before starting. Enji pulled out most of the way until just the tip remained. He pushed all the way in again, balls deep. Repeating the process, Enji thrust faster and harder. You arched your back though your body strained against him and the ropes keeping you off the ground. Your shoulders and arms were going to burn like hell tomorrow, but at the moment, it didn't fucking matter.
Your breasts were smashed against his hard chest. The friction tweaked your nipples into stiff peaks. Enji lowered his face to kiss and bite your neck. Latching onto your shoulder did little to muffle the sound erupting from his throat. He was an animal in heat. Your legs bounced with every thrust of his deep inside your body.
You tried to meet him thrust for thrust, pushing your hips against his. After a while, it was a vain effort. Despite your youth, you couldn't imagine keeping up with him. You quickly gave up and handed Enji the power.
He didn't say much. There were no your cunt feels like it was made for my cock or you take it so well as a bitch in heat. Enji could have said those things and more. He was focused on completing as soon as possible so as not to further harm you. He grunted like a beast but made no effort to verbally degrade you.
When your walls fluttered around him again and squeezed his cock, Enji followed suit. Ropes of cum warmed your lower belly. Then, and only then did Enji speak up.
"Is it wrong for wanting to imagine you fucking swollen with my baby inside you? You're so fucking full of my seed, aren't you, Y/N?"
You could barely nod. The thought shocked you for a moment, and you didn't know if you wanted it. Time would only tell.

Male vampire x male character - Part Three (nsfw)

This is going to be a four-parter, folks! And here's 3866 words of Part Three for you. Angst ahoy, but you know me, ok, so trust me. Here we meet Alec's little brother, and you'll find out why Sebastien was so jumpy and weird about the Twayblade name.
Part One, Part Two
Alec’s ‘one night stand’ with Sebastien turned into a whole month of of ‘one-night-stands’, and culminated in Sebastien asking him to dinner the following weekend - a pattern which repeated itself every weekend after that.
Sure, the sex was probably the most incredible sex that Alec had ever experienced in his entire life, but what he came to enjoy even more was the time they spent over meals and cups of tea in the intervening time, talking about everything from history to politics to video games and books and everything else besides. Sebastien talked about literature a lot, and Alec sketched him and illustrated his conversations while he spoke.
“You could really make something of yourself with talent like that,” Sebastien had murmured once as Alec had doodled a quick rendition of the Victory of Samothrace on the back of a coffee shop receipt one afternoon in the park.
“Meh,” he shrugged without looking up. “I’d like to, but I’ve got a steady job now, you know? I’m not going to throw it all away just because some gallery might take my work and I might make something of a name for myself, you know?”
Sebastien sighed. “Talent is such an overused word, and great art is rarely based on raw talent alone, but with your dedication over the years, you’ve really honed what natural abilities you have into something exceptional, Alec. I think you should make a go of it at least.”
Alec had flushed, and Sebastien had been distracted by the rising colour his cheeks long enough to abandon that train of thought in favour of kissing him silly on a park bench, and Alec hadn’t much minded.
At an Iranian restaurant near Alec’s place one Friday, four weeks after Halloween, Sebastien leaned on his elbow and popped a fragrant and decadent zoolbia into his mouth, and Alec watched, oddly fixated by the way his fingers held the little fried treat. His eyes, dark and warm and inviting, blinked slowly and he offered Alec a slow-dawning smile that stole his breath.
“We should go to the museum again,” Alec he blurted, thinking back three days when they’d spent their lunchtime meandering around the Italian Renaissance gallery together.
“Mmm?” he asked, licking his fingers in a way that made Alec’s jeans tighten and his throat close.
“Yeah,” he croaked. “I mean, I know you’re not sick of me waxing endlessly about quattrocento art just yet…” he said, sipping his delicious cup of tea and trying not to choke on it as Sebastien’s ankle skimmed up his leg beneath the table.
“No,” Sebastien admitted. “You’re right. I’m not.”
With the bill paid by Sebastien this time, after Alec had bought them lunch the previous day, the two of them left the cosy warmth of the restaurant and stepped out into a bitter November night. “Oh fuck it’s cold,” Alec swore immediately, drawing up the collar of his coat.
“You want to head home?” Sebastien asked, a hand on the small of his back.
Unconsciously, Alec leaned into it and smiled up at him. They’d not yet been to Alec’s apartment, and he found himself more and more reluctant to let Sebastien in now that he’d seen the stunning penthouse that he called home. “If you’re sure? I think your wardrobe has more square footage than my entire place though…”
“Alec,” he purred, taking Alec’s hand in his and squeezing his fingers. “I —”
“—You’re freezing,” he commented, interrupting whatever Sebastien had been about to say.
“I don't tend to run hot,” he conceded, “But neither do I feel the cold much. I’d like to see your home, and you have nothing to be embarrassed about.”
He leaned in close and kissed the junction of Alec’s jaw and neck for a moment, his lips lingering, tongue just lapping at his skin and sending shivers down Alec’s whole body, shorting out his brain for a heartbeat or six. Sebastien raked his teeth over Alec’s pounding pulse point and he went still, frozen in a paroxysm of pleasure and, oddly, a strange thrill of fear he couldn’t quite place. Instead of pulling away when he recovered himself, however, he tilted his head further to one side, offering himself to Sebastien’s mouth, and the other man moaned decadently, deepening his attentions.
Sebastien’s hands found Alec’s belt and he tugged him sharply closer so that their hips met. Alec tried not to grind himself against Sebastien — they were still on a public street for goodness’ sake — but desire was washing through him in pulsing waves and it was becoming harder and harder to think rationally. That wasn’t the only thing that was becoming hard either, and he let out a harsh grunt before forcing himself to step back with a sheepish grin.
When he looked up at Sebastien, he found that the slightly taller man had frozen and was breathing hard, eyes closed, lips pursed together as though restraining himself from something.
“You ok?”
“Fine,” Sebastien hissed, still not opening his eyes.
Alec frowned. Sebastien looked like he was in pain of all things. “You sure? You look —”
“I’m fine!” he snapped through a clenched jaw. “Let’s go. You’re right. It is cold.”
The short walk to Alec’s apartment passed in tense silence, with Sebastien keeping his eyes locked downwards on the pavement, though he did deign to hold Alec’s hand. He couldn’t help wondering if perhaps he’d pushed things too far in public, given how proper Sebastien tended to be, but then again, Sebastien was the one who had deepened the gesture by practically mauling at his neck for three minutes straight back then.
Alec’s apartment building wasn’t fancy at all, and it certainly didn’t have a doorman, and once they’d stumbled in through the hallway with the busted light fitting in the ceiling, Alec smashed the elevator call button only to find it dull and non-responsive. “Damn,” he cursed. “Out of order again. Stairs?”
“If needs be,” Sebastien said with a gracious smile.
“This would never happen over at Buckingham Palace,” he quipped back, and Sebastien cracked a smile at Alec’s silly nickname for his apartment block.
“Exercise will shake all that dinner down,” he conceded.
Alec twitched his eyebrows in agreement and held the door open to the stairwell for him. As he passed by in the confined space, Sebastien stopped and leaned in, taking Alec’s jaw in his cool hands and kissing him gently, reverently, on the lips.
“I’m sorry,” he breathed. “I was rude back then.”
Alec shrugged, feeling awkward at the sheer, heartfelt tenderness in the gesture.
“I got carried away. It won’t happen again.”
“I like it when you’re rougher with me,” he smirked. “You should know that after a month of fucking me senseless.”
As if Alec’s words had hit him like a sledgehammer to the nuts, Sebastien rolled his eyes and grimaced, but he did laugh. “You do seem to like a firm hand, granted,” he said. “Let’s get upstairs shall we? Before I take you right here, and I’m not sure how sanitary this situation is…”
Alec needed no more encouragement, and he didn’t even get to give Sebastien the fleeting, one-minute tour of his tiny flat before the man was on him, kissing him blind and backing him into a wall hard enough to knock the wind from him. Sebastien came alive in moments like that, when he could kiss him and lavish attention on Alec, and the latter was not about to stop him.
It wasn’t long before Sebastien’s wandering lips found Alec’s neck again, and as Alec gasped, fists balled into Sebastien’s shirt collar, he felt the sharp prick of teeth quickly followed by the generous suck of a love bite in the making. His knees went weak and he nearly staggered as a huge rush of endorphins swam through his mind, leaving him limp and wobbly all over. Well, almost everywhere.
“I want you,” he gasped, and Sebastien lost no time in locating the tiny bedroom and tossing him onto the bed, stripping them both with startlingly attractive efficiency. Alec barely managed to yank a bottle of lube and a box of condoms from his top drawer before Sebastien was spreading his legs and laving his tongue up over the curve of his balls.
“Oh fuck me,” Alec exclaimed as Sebastien’s slick finger slid into him and he hissed at the intrusion. A moment later, he was lying with his head flung back into the pillows while Sebastien slid a second inside him and began to do just that with his fingers until Alec was finally ready — and more than desperate — for Sebastien’s cock.
Sebastien had a beautiful body, all lean, corded muscle and slender lines, and as he got more and more aroused, his deep olive skin seemed to glow almost supernaturally. He was perfection incarnate. Bernini couldn’t have carved him, even if he’d been given a lifetime to try. Alec was no Bernini but he’d still love to sculpt him.
Sebastien chuckled sweetly and crooked his finger, sending a jolt of searing pleasure through Alec so hard his vision whited out for a moment and his back arched. “I’m flattered,” Sebastien murmured, placing open-mouthed, messy kisses down Alec’s leg as he spontaneously bent that knee up.
“Shit, I said that out loud…” he laughed, still vague and giddy with the sensations sparking under his skin.
“Mmm,” he smiled, lowering his face to Alec’s inner thigh and kissing fervently all up his leg to the crease of his thigh and hips before smoothing his leg back down onto the bed. His breath fanned out across Alec’s sensitive skin and he quivered and bucked, causing Sebastien’s curled finger to brush his prostate again and he yelled.
“Please…”
Moments later, Sebastien entered him at last and stilled, allowing him to adjust to the new intrusion.
When he fucked him like this, Sebastien seemed to take on a new energy, becoming something almost more primal, and Alec lived for it. The expression on his face as he closed his eyes and simply enjoyed the heat of Alec’s body closing around him, taking him, drawing him in, was something he would never get used to, no matter how many times it happened. He was certain of it.
“You’re so tight,” Sebastien grunted, easily shifting Alec’s hips up a degree or two and adjusting his own angle so that he could thrust into his prostrate with every stroke.
Alec’s words failed him as immense pleasure ripped through him, building and building. “You’re gonna make me come if you keep that up,” he barely managed to grunt as Sebastien somehow picked up the pace and began to pound into him with renewed vigour. The man seemed utterly devoted to Alec’s pleasure, as if it was the only thing driving him.
With an utterly inhuman snarl, Sebastien opened his mouth and whispered, “Come for me.”
The sheer weight of command in his voice tore through Alec and he came instantly, untouched, painting his torso with ropes of his release and wrenching Sebastien’s own orgasm from him by sheer force a second after.
Sebastien curled forwards with a hiss, hips spasming as he released, and his lips found Alec’s neck again, and then his collarbone. In the daze of his own peak, Alec thought he saw a flash of red in Sebastien’s eyes again, but he was out of sight too quickly for him to believe what he’d seen. Instead, he found Sebastien kissing his hammering pulse while he finished. Finally going still, Sebastien slumped atop him, breathing hard, his white-blond hair spilling everywhere and tickling Alec’s stubble. He was too tired to care though.
When he woke, hours later, he realised groggily that it must be the middle of the night. Sebastien was curled up beside him, obviously having found the tiny bathroom to clean up, and he was now spread out beside him on his small, lumpy mattress as if this were a palace and he a prince, not some tiny, shitty apartment in the rough bit of town.
Something about the way Sebastien slept still freaked Alec the fuck out. He didn’t seem to be breathing, and when he had laid his palm on Sebastien’s chest on their first night together, the man had gasped and jolted awake like the living dead, sucking in air like he’d been underwater for hours. This time, he refrained from touching him, and instead stared at his inhuman beauty. There wasn’t a mark or scar or freckle on him, and his darkly tanned body spread out over the white sheets like a bronze sculpture arranged in a gallery for the adoration of thousands. And yet he chose Alec to be his only supplicant. Something lurched in his chest and he smiled bashfully, blushing, although there was no one to witness it.
Awake, Sebastien looked maybe thirty, thirty five years old, but asleep, he looked far younger; closer to eighteen or nineteen perhaps, with an innocence around his white-lashed eyes and the natural downward curl of his beautiful lips.
Unable to resist touching him completely, Alec kissed him and rolled over, drawing the duvet up around his ears and sinking back into a deep, dreamless sleep. His whole body felt heavy and satiated in a way he’d never experienced before with anyone. Something clenched in his heart; this felt right somehow.
But nothing is fated to last forever, is it?
Alec stirred groggily, unwillingly, the next morning, becoming aware of a rapid-fire knocking on the apartment door. Grunting, he kicked back the covers and fished for a pair of boxers and a shirt from the floor beside the bed. Sebastien slept on, apparently not having moved at all since the previous evening. Did he have sleep apnoea or something? It was something he’d have to bring up after he’d sorted whatever this was. It wasn’t natural for a man to sleep like that.
Like the dead.
“Alright, alright, I’m coming,” he grumbled, stumbling across the apartment and peering though the peephole in the door. Twitching back in surprise, he opened it. “Theo?”
His little brother’s bright, sunny grin beamed back at him. “Hey bro,” he chuckled jovially, stepping in as if he owned the place and shooting him a cheeky look back over his shoulder. “Brunch?”
“Brunch?” Alec frowned. “Since when do you do ‘brunch’? And since when is it brunchtime anyway?” He glanced at the clock in the kitchen and his eyebrows rose. It was well past eleven o’clock.
“Late night, I see,” Theo snickered, eyeing Sebastien’s shirt which was still on the floor outside the bedroom door, currently ajar from Alec’s hasty exit.
“Shut up.”
Theo’s grin doubled and his blue eyes glittered. Like Alec, he had the unusual combination of dark hair and blue eyes, and like Alec he could be described as ‘roguish’ at times. Now though, it bordered on downright Puckish. Looking not his actual twenty-one years but somewhere closer to sixteen, Theo shook his head.
“Brother mine, when will you —” he snorted but then stopped and his expression fell, shattering from playful to horrified in a heartbeat before he rapidly attempted to cover it by turning towards the bedroom. “Is he still here?” he whispered.
“Yeah, so keep the jokes to a minimum, would you?” Alec snarled. “What did you want anyway?”
But Theo had changed completely. Gone was the ebullient Labrador puppy and instead a tense, alert, wary young man stood before him.
“What the fuck’s wrong?” Alec hissed, heartbeat ticking faster like an over-wound clock.
And Theo spun and then froze as the door to the bedroom opened and Sebastien appeared on the threshold.
Theo’s lip curled into an ugly snarl and Sebastien regraded him steadily, apparently unfazed by the unexpected hostility.
“The younger Twayblade, I assume,” he said with such ice in his usually warm tone that it shook Alec into stunned silence. “Well, this is unexpected.”
“You’re shitting me,” Theo whispered, horror thickening his tone.
Alec blinked and looked from Sebastien to his little brother and back again. Never in all his years of dating men had he felt so uneasy around a family member. “What’s going on…?” he finally croaked.
“That’s what — who — you’re sleeping with?” Theo practically spat out.
Cold, defensive vitriol bubbled up inside him and he might actually have lunged for his brother had Sebastien not crossed the room in three rapid strides and laid a gentle hand on his forearm. “I take my leave,” he said quickly.
“Not so fast, fang-face,” Theo sneered and Sebastien froze. “Get away from my brother.”
“Or what?” Sebastien said in the quietest and steadiest of voices.
“What the fuck is going on!” Alec blurted into the tense silence that followed Sebastien’s taunt.
The other two blinked, and Sebastien sighed. He met Alec’s eye as he asked, “You really didn’t know at all, did you?”
“Know what?” Alec snapped, rage rolling through him. “Do you two know each other or something? What am I missing here?”
“I think this is a family matter that you need to work out between you,” Sebastien said, voice still tinged with frost. “Alec, you know where to reach me if you decide to continue what we’ve shared this past month.” And with that, he turned and walked from the apartment.
“Wait, stop!” Alec yelled after him, but he was gone down the stairwell and Theo was at his side, tugging him back into the apartment. “Fucking explain yourself!” he snapped, rounding on his brother.
“You’d… better sit down.”
“No. Tell me what’s going on. Right now.”
Theo stared him down, meeting blazing sapphire stare with blazing sapphire stare. “Sit. Down.”
The tone of his voice shocked Alec into doing exactly that, and he sank numbly down onto the saggy old couch in the living room without a word.
What followed next was like something from a movie.
“The Twayblades are an ancient family of monster hunters,” Theo said gently. “Father’s not in the military. Well, he is, but it’s not a normal unit or anything. That’s just a cover.”
“And mother?” he asked mechanically, the information-dump that Theo had just heaped upon him not sinking in, but floating like scum on the surface of his churning mind.
“She’s one too. And Ellie.”
“Ellie hunts… monsters?” he asked. “Like… what… the Boogeyman? Bigfoot?” Incredulity made his tone flippant, but something in the calm sincerity of his brother’s eyes told him it was true, no matter how stupid it sounded.
“Dracula…?” Theo added darkly.
“Dracula.” And then the penny dropped. “Wait. ‘Fang-face’. You’re saying you think my boyfriend is a vampire?”
Theo levelled him with a look from where he was leaning against the windowsill, arms folded over his chest in a manner eerily reminiscent of his big brother.
Now as Alec regarded him, he saw the harsh young man that this little kid had become. The puppy fat had melted into a steel jaw and a hard gaze, and his body seemed coiled for action at any moment. He had the body of a soldier, Alec realised with plunging horror. He knew Theo worked out — he was apparently a personal trainer and nutritional coach for celebrities in London, but even that seemed to have been a lie after what he’d just learned. Apparently the Twayblades actually hunted monsters — he and their parents and their older sister Ellie. Alec and Angie had been left out because they were apparently not ‘hunter material’ whatever that meant. Maybe it meant he was a monster fucker instead. He almost laughed.
“Theo, come on… I can’t believe any of this,” Alec said, leaning back into the sofa and pressing the heels of his palms to his aching eyeballs. All he’d wanted to do this morning was to wake up and maybe have Sebastien fuck him into the mattress a few times before breakfast until he was wrung out and softly buzzing like they had every weekend for the last month.
Now he was having some bizarre fairytale forced at him and he was supposed to believe it like it was some kind of sick joke. But he did believe it, and that was what scared him most of all. It wasn’t a joke. Theo showed him videos his father and he had captured on some of their ‘hunts’, exterminating a poltergeist here and eradicating a revenant there, and in the end Theo phoned their father on speaker, opening without preamble, “Dad, Alec’s dating a vampire.”
“Do you have proof?” was their father’s instant, chilling response. No ‘I'm sorry, what did you say, son?’ or ‘What’s all this nonsense?’. No. He went straight to the heart of it. With a stake.
“Just walked past the sucker leaving the flat.”
“Ancient?”
“No, thank goodness. Maybe just a century at most?”
“Can you eliminate him without alerting Alec?” their father asked, at which point Alec’s heart cracked.
He leapt to his feet and blurted, “Fucking what?”
After a heartbeat of silence, their father sighed. “Unfortunate. I had hoped to keep you and Angela out of this.”
“You’re telling me it’s all real?” he asked, goggling at Theo who held the phone out on speaker between them like it was a live grenade. “You’re all insane!”
“Tell me something, son,” his father said flatly. “Have his eyes ever flared red during a moment of passion? Does he seem to fixate on your neck? Do you find yourself willing to do as he wishes without question?”
Theo interjected quickly, “He’s not compelled. His eyes are clear.”
“Well, that’s something at least,” their father scoffed. “Theo, you know what you have to do. Kill it.”
“‘It’?” Alec shot, eyes bulging, and Theo did have the grace to cringe. “Kill it? You’re going to kill him? He’s a lecturer at the university, Theo. You can’t just fucking kill him?!”
“He might be under the guild rules…” Theo said. “He might be a blood bank user, not a live-feeder… I’ll look into it first.”
Alec’s knees turned to water but he kept himself upright through sheer force of will.
“Fine. But don’t hesitate. And don’t make concessions just because Alec might be compromised.”
Theo nodded and hung up without farewell. “Look, Alec,” he grimaced. “I’m… I’m sorry, ok? I didn’t come here to —”
“— to kill my boyfriend?” he growled, taking a step towards his little brother. To his credit, Theo did actually take half a step back in the face of Alec’s confused, hurt, betrayed ire, holding his hand palm-up.
“No. I came here to see if you wanted to grab lunch, but —”
“—Get out.”
“What?”
“Get out!” he roared, jabbing his index finger at the door and pulling out his phone.
Theo surprised him by nodding and leaving, shutting the door behind him with a click and leaving Alec standing in the centre of the living room, chest heaving, phone in hand, ears ringing.
As his brother’s footsteps disappeared down the stairwell, he unlocked his phone and dialled Sebastien’s number.
Three rings in, Sebastien answered.
“It it true?” Alec asked without preamble.
After a long inhale, Sebastien answered. “…Yes.”

---
The rising sun peeks over the edge of the horizon through your window. The light is already soaking into your bedroom, the particles in the air floating amidst the rays. You sigh in bliss. Sam sleeps peacefully beside you, head buried against the pillow. He lies on his front, his arm laying protectively over your waist. You woke up a few minutes ago, but you can't find it in you to wake up your man from his slumber. He looks so relaxed when he sleeps, free of the stress and worry that accompanies him every day. Ever since this war officially started with Morello, he's been coming home later, more tired and more bruised. He needs this rest.
Usually he wakes up with the sun, drinking his morning coffee then leaving to go to Salieri's after kissing you goodbye in bed. Today though, you've managed to convince the Don to give him the morning off. Most of the jobs happening right now take place in the afternoon or evening anyway, so it wasn’t that hard to persuade him.
Sam sifts beside you, burying his face deeper into the pillow to hide away from the sun. His arm tightens around you slightly, as does his leg which is wrapped around yours like a vine. It makes you smile. Even in his sleep, he still guards you, always worried that one day his enemies will hurt you. You reach over to run your hands soothingly down the expanses of his back, delicately stroking over his muscles. His skin is smooth but riddled with scars of all sizes, permanent dark reminders of everything he’s lived through. They make your heart ache every time you see them, unable to comprehend the pain he’s experienced.
Sometimes, you still wake up at night in cold sweat after dreaming of Sam dying, replaying the memories of him after he got shot on a whisky run at the farm. He was so weak, the closest you’ve ever seen him to dying. In your mind, those images are printed permanently with a harsh blinding ink that you just can’t seem to remove. Seeing the love of your life like a walking corpse- you can’t ever forget that.
You worry about him everytime he leaves the safe cocoon of your apartment. With every loving kiss he leaves on your lips when he leaves, will that be the last ever sweet embrace you two share if something does happen to him? Would you ever feel his arms around you again, the only place you truly feel safe? Your mind is too fickle sometimes, always plaguing you with ‘what ifs’.
“Stop worryin’ doll. I can hear you even in my sleep” Sam mumbles into the pillow, making it impossible to decipher his muffled words. You smile lightly and cuddle deeper into his side, laying your face on your hand. The other still traces his spine with feather like touches.
Sam breathes deep and lifts his head, facing towards you again. One eyelid unravels slowly, then the other, the light steelness of his eyes bright amidst his tiredness.
“Good morning” you whisper. He sighs sleepily when he sees your smile, pulling you up against his chest as he turns onto his side. He closes his eyes again and smiles when he feels you snuggle into his neck and start laying sweet little kisses there. “Good morning to you too doll. Why are you up so early? You should be passed out sleepin’ right now.”
“It’s half nine Sam, this is when I normally wake up.” His eyes shoot open and he’s moving so suddenly, you barely register it for a moment.
“Fuck. I’m gonna be late. The boss is gonna kill me.” He rises, flinging the sheets off and swinging his legs over the bed. You finally stop him just as he’s about to rise, wrapping around him. You kiss him beneath his ears as you quickly say “I’ve got you the morning off, don’t worry.” He looks back incredulously.
“Off? How did you manage to persuade the Don to give me the mornin’ off? Especially with all this crap from Morello?” You look away mischievously, pulling slightly on him so he’ll follow you back down to bed. You slip out from under him once he’s back against the pillows and lean on his chest gently. His arm slips unconsciously around you again, always wanting to keep you close. “That’s for me to know and for you to never worry about.” He opens his mouth to reply, but you press your finger against it before he can.
“Don’t fight this. You need some time away from all the stress at the bar, even if it’s only for a little while.” He reaches up and grabs hold of your hand, pressing a kiss to your palm then laying it on his chest near his heart.
“My girl’s lookin’ after me. Can I really say no to you?” He laughs throatily, sighing as he strokes your fingers, “How did you manage to persuade the Don anyway?”
“You know me honey, my powers of persuasion are unbeatable.” In reality, you just promised Sailieri that you’d make him some of your best desserts, but Sam didn’t need to know that. “Why don’t you sit outside on the balcony? I’ll make us some coffee and then I’ll meet you out there?”
He smiles lazily up at you, bringing you down for a quick, toe curling kiss that leaves you breathless. Sam smirks at your reaction. You move to the side as he rises again, leaning your chin on your hand as you watch him walk naked across the room. You can’t help but release a pleased sigh, watching the muscles in his legs move, his ass flexing . He puts on some loungey pants without any underwear then turns around, looking at you with a smouldering promise in his eyes. If the kiss and this is anything to go by, Sam is definitely in a romantic mood.
“Did your mama not teach you to stare?” He smirks jokingly, throwing his head back laughing when he sees your mock offended expression. You roll up onto your knees, your hands moving to your hips. You try to look at him angrily, but you can’t help the smile that breaks out on your face.
“Do you really have the cheek to say that when you happily watch me undress every evening? It’s not very gentlemanly of you to treat a lady in such a way.” You smirk at him playfully. Sam looks at you from the hood of his eyes, slowly walking back towards you. He leans down on his arms so his face is level with yours. “You’re not just any lady though. You’re my lady. And I know that my girl likes being the centre of my attention” He kisses you again with intensity. One of his hands slips into your hair just below the base of your neck, tugging gently but with a force he knows you like. It makes you arch into him as his other hand traces tantilisingling down your spine, leaving goosebumps in his wake. You follow his lips as he rises, pouting when he steps back. Sam smirks again, then strokes the side of your face gently. “Outside doll.”
You make quick work of making the coffee after throwing on a silk nightdress. The material catches against your already pebbled nipples, the intensity of Sam’s kisses still setting your body alight. Your skin feels heated, tingles running up your arms and legs. It feels like there’s electricity running through your veins, the anticipation making your hormones run riot.
Though you and Sam make love multiple times a week, it’s rare that you get to take things slow, build up excitement between you. He always gets home too late from work, needing to burn off adrenaline or find comfort with you between the sheets to rid himself of his haunting demons. You fit together like two perfect puzzle pieces, intune with each other’s desires and needs.
With Sam, you can give up control and let him take the reins, knowing you’re in safe hands. He treats you like a diamond, treasuring you and looking after you in a way you’ve never known before, while he loves you both rough and gentle, giving you all his passion and intensity, knowing you can take it. From slow lovemaking to hard fucking against the nearest piece of furninture, there’s never a moment of sexual pleasure between you where you’re not overcome with feeling. You crave his intense intimacy and protective aura, and he yearns for your sweet touches and worshiping love, making him feel like a god when his days are darkest.
As you finish making his drink, you wonder to yourself once again if it’s true after all that there are such things called soul mates. It’s the only way you can describe your unbreakable bond with Sam, one you know will only grow stronger with every pain and strife you encounter.
By the time you walk onto the balcony, your face is flushed a deep shade of pink. Sam sits on one of the lawn chairs, head back, basking in the sun as he smokes a cigarette. His eyes are closed, his face relaxed. In this moment, he looks more like an Adonis than the gangsta you know. You watch him silently from the door for a few breathless seconds, watching him take a strong puff of his cigarette, the veins in his arms becoming more pronounced as he moves. His lips open softly and the smoke escapes with a small exhale, rising in whispering waves until it disappears into the air. Releasing a sigh of breath, your eyes crinkle when his own unravel, growing more hazy when he notices your flushed cheeks.
You move forward and climb onto his lap, his hand grabbing your legs and pulling them over his thighs. He takes the coffee from you then using his other hand, cups your chin between his forefingers. His cigarette sits between his other fingers, the smoke slowly drifting up between your faces but you don’t mind. The smell of tobacco burning has become therapeutic to you, the smell a link to the home you’ve made with Sam. He places a chaste kiss against your lips in thanks, sighing in pleasure. Your hand reaches up, cupping his cheek where you can feel his unshaven stubble. It’s rough, but you love the texture, running your hands slowly against the rough skin.
Sam breaks the kiss and leans into your palm, lifting his hand from your face to take another inhale of nicotine . He moves his head to the side to release the smoke, leaving a kiss on your palm as he does.
For the next few moments, you both just sit there, looking out onto the streets of Lost Heaven below. Up here, you feel like you’re in your own private bubble, away from all your problems, all the hate that breeds so well in this city. It’s just you and Sam, peacefully tucked away like two lovebirds. You lay against him, your head tucked underneath his neck. Everytime he takes a breath, inhaling the smoke of a cigarette, you feel his chest move against you, rocking you slightly. His hand always falls back onto your arm, softly stroking against your soft skin. You don’t speak, only bask in the comfortable silence between you. There’s nothing else to describe this but bliss.
His hand slowly begins to travel down your arm slightly, rubbing against your most sensitive spots. You shift in his lap slightly, turning your head to place your lips against the pulse in his neck. It beats a steady staccato rhythm. You place a lasting kiss there, traveling up his neck with sweet butterfly touches from your lips. Sam groans slightly, slipping his hand down to your hip.
“Open your legs for me doll.” You dutifully follow his orders, parting your thighs across his legs. His hand slowly travels between them, tracing your inner thighs before he reaches the top of your mound. He hasn’t even touched you yet, but you whine anyway, driving your hips up slightly towards his fingers. You feel his chuckle through his throat before you hear it.
“Patience doll. I’m takin’ this slow.” His fingers dance tantalizingly just above the opening of your lips, slipping slightly against the wetness that’s already gathered there.
“Sam… Please.” Your words are breathless, a whimper against his throat. He turns his head slightly, pressing his lips against your forehead.
“Whadya want doll? Tell me. Use your words Y/N.”
You whine again, drawing out his name. “Sam. Touch me… Please.” He smiles against you, his other hand rising to the nape of your neck. He lifts your head up and claims your mouth with a deep kiss as his fingers slip between your folds, brushing against your clit. You cry out against his lips and his tongue slips in, tangling with your own. He brushes slow, delightfully hard swipes of his fingers against you, smirking against your lips when your hips rise again. Between kisses, he grates “You’re already so wet. Just for me.”
You are already too dazed to reply. All you can do is sit there in his lap as he builds your pleasure with his fingers alone, wetting his fingers with your need on each lazy stroke. “Sam. Honey. God, don’t stop doing that.”
“You sure? Cos I could do this too.” Two fingers move down to your entrance, swirling there until he begins to sink them into your walls. You throw your head back, moaning, your hands flying down to rest over his. You push against them, gyrating against them. Sam lets out a breathless chuckle, but amidst the roughness of his voice, you can hear how strained it is- he’s just as excited as you are. As he thrusts shallowly in and out of your pussy, your hand moves down into his lap, grabbing his shaft through his pants.
He curses, his hips bucking forward. His fingers plunge deeper inside you, hitting that sweet spot that makes you see stars. You moan loudly, and his hand holding your head quickly moves up, covering your mouth. You turn your head and take his fingers in your mouth, sucking on them as you move your hand harder against his cock.
As his fingers rub against you deep, his calloused thumb moves to your clit, rubbing quick circles that bring your orgasm speeding to the surface. You can feel your heart pounding, your senses tingling. You're just opening your mouth ready to cry out around his fingers as you begin tipping over the edge, but suddenly both his hands are gone, leaving you empty and desperate.
“No, no, no, Sam?! What are you doing?!” He doesn’t answer, just grabs your waist and pulls you so you're facing him. Your legs slip either side of his hips, putting you directly above his thick shaft. In an attempt to get some friction, you try to grind down on it but his grip on your hips is too tight, no doubt leaving bruises. You don’t mind them, in fact, you love it when he leaves them along your body. It gives you pleasure to no end seeing the aftermath of his yearning for you.
You finally look up at him. Sam sits there, his eyes fully blown, a dark gray that stare at you with an intensity you can’t help but be sucked into. He breathes deep, sweat dripping down his neck.
“Take me out doll.” You move quickly, nearly ripping the buttons off his pants in your haste. Once you’ve grasped his cock, you bring it out, stroking the head with your thumb. A small drop of precum oozes from the top and you helplessly catch it, bringing it to your lips to suck it off in your mouth. Sam clenches his teeth, uttering another curse.
He leans forward, wrapping his arms around you to bring you directly above his hard shaft. He keeps you held just above it, but you can feel the heat from the head, drawing you in like a magnet. Sam’s hand grasps your nape again, tilting your head down to his. After a deep, chaste kiss, he orders, his voice wrecked “Ride me Y/N. Slow. I want you to feel every inch.”
You gasp in shock, but your body is already moving, the head of his cock slipping against your lips. Your hand flies down and positions it at your entrance, then you start sinking down. Sam groans, long and deep, clutching at your waist. You try to go faster, but he quickly slaps your ass.
“Slow doll.”
“But-”
“No buts! Slow. Or you don’t get to cum.” Your orgasm is still there, bubbling beneath your surface. You want it. Desperately. Sinking slower, you shake in Sam’s hands as you feel every vein, every deep crease of his hard cock as it sinks into you. When he finally bottoms out, you sink into his chest, your mouths moulding together. He pulls you impossibly closer, his hands moving down to your ass like hot brands. Slowly, as you breathe against each other, he guides you up, driving your pussy up his shaft until he lets go, letting gravity sink you back down again. He lets out a guttural groan into your mouth as you moan, your hands clutching onto him for dear life.
As you start bouncing on him, with deep slow strokes, he moves from your lips, placing heated kisses down your neck, across your chest towards the tops of your breasts. You can already feel his breath against your nipples, hardening them even more against the silk of your gown. Sam pulls it down just enough to reveal your breasts, his lips moving to take a nipple into his mouth as his hand grabs the other, pinching it between his fingers. Between his ministrations on your breasts and the feel of his cock sliding against your walls, you're helpless to do nothing else but sit there, taking the pleasure.
You fling your head back when he thrusts up as you sink down, the friction against your sweet spot so delicious you swear you can see stars in your eyes. You can feel the sun burning against your eyelids, hear the birds flying above over the cars below, but your attention is on Sam alone. The whole town could be watching you right now, but up here, in your little cocoon, all you can feel is the overwhelming pleasure and nothing is going to interrupt it.
“Y/N, doll, shit. You’re squeezin’ me so tight,” he groans against your breasts as you cry out, thrusting up harder against your pussy, “You’re gonna make me come.”
“Please… Sam, I’m so close, please!” Your voice is nothing more than a whine now.
He sinks lower on the chair so he's laying down, throwing you forward slightly. As he really begins to thrust into you now, bouncing you, his lips move back up to your own, your teeth clinking together before you kiss. You’re barely moving anymore, all you can do is take his pounding cock between your thighs. Below you, Sam is practically growling into your mouth, his hands against your skin keeping your pressed against him tightly. You're both sweating profusely, the heat of the sun blanketing your bodies, but you don’t care. You’re both too far gone into ecstasy.
Your fingers slip on his damp skin, so you grasp his hair, tugging on it. Sam groans in response, breaking the kiss to throw back his head. You collapse into his neck, clutching onto him as you take his relentless pounding. He turns his head, placing a sweet kiss against your sweaty temple, a small piece of comfort in your frantic love making. It brings you back to the brink of orgasm again, feeling your love for this man overwhelm your heart.
“Sam! You need to cover my mouth, I’m gonna come!” His hand pulls your head back above him, keeping your eyes focused on his.
“If I’m making you cum. I want you to do it saying my name.” You groan in response, trying to look away from his piercing gaze to throw back your head but he keeps you held strong. It’s deeply intimate looking into his eyes as you near your peak, your nerves alighting like wildfire. As you tip over the edge into pure ecstasy, you hear him grate “Be a good girl and cum for me.”
“Sam! Ah god!” you scream his name, throwing your head back to the sky. As you shake with your orgasm, squeezing around Sam’s cock, you barely register Sam's frantic thrusts. You hear him let out a brutal shout beneath you as he comes inside you, shaking against your body.
You collapse against him like a cat in the sun, snuggling into his chest when he wraps his arms around you. Against your head, you can feel his pounding heartbeat, gently swaying with his rising chest. His hand moves up to your head, pushing back some hair behind your ear. When you curl into his hand, he lets out a breathless laugh and strokes against the side of your face. You look up at him to see him smiling with his eyes closed, utterly relaxed and content. You crawl up slightly, so your head is level with his and tuck yourself into his side.
He reaches up and pulls a blanket hanging over the top of the lounger over the both of you, shielding your bodies from the sun. Once you're comfortable, he kisses you on your forehead then another longer sweeter kiss on your mouth. When he breaks away, you smile at each other like you’ve just completed a heist. Sam lies back with a content sigh, lighting another cigarette. You snuggle into his side, tracing the scars on his chest. When you get to what’s left of the bullet wound, you stroke it gently while whispering “I’m never gonna stop loving you. Worrying about you”
He turns towards you, his chin on your head“ I know doll.” He sighs, stroking the skin of your hips slowly. "I wish you didn't have to worry. I've seen many men die, forced to leave behind their families. It scares the fuck outta me that one day that might happen to you. It's wearing me out Y/N."
You look at him to see a world of pain on his face. There's a battle in his eyes, one you may never fully be able to comprehend. You reach for his hand after he stubs the cigarette, bringing his fingers to your lips. Between each kiss, you whisper " Let's leave this place then. With Tommy and Paulie too. You know they want outta this life too. We… We could finally start our own family."
He looks down at you with so much love in his eyes, you feel your heart miss a beat. "Let's do it then doll. Once this war is over. We're leaving."

A/N: Gotta give a shoutout to my girls @rougebangtan and @unoriginal-username15432 for being so lovely reading and editing. I spent a lot of time on this fic and it means a lot to me so I hope you all really love it.
The sea is a miserable temptress. Water flows freely, crashing along the shoreline begging to enrapture you. To take you under the comfort of her salty tears, to bring you home where you feel the most comfortable. She is raw, potent energy waiting to be appeased by the gods. The way the rocks, dry greyscale stones, wait to be blessed by her presence. Wait to be licked with her furious energy, as they sit under the cloudy skies of silver brings a sense of calm. The sea was disastrous, much like you.
You lean back, hands perched behind you as you dig your fingers into the countless golden clusters of sand underneath. Your toes hoping for the same masked feeling as your head lolls back to look at the incoming rain clouds. In the distance, a flash of lightning, spearing brightly with flashes of orange and white; draws your attention and you can't help but appreciate the way the world works. If lightning were to strike down on the sand around you right now, it would turn to glass. Just a quick simple action could completely change up the form of the small, insignificant granules right by your side. A weak fragile granule could turn into something brilliant and hard like glass. Then, it comes to mind. You wish something would change up your form. For something to change up who you are from being insignificant to something hard and strong like glass.
It wasn't always like this. You once laughed and had a spitfire personality. You could joke and jeer with your friends, finding time to go out of your way to put a smile on someone's face because they deserved it. To do small things that would light up a person's heart because you wanted them to radiate a brilliantly happy energy. You almost can't remember what it feels like, to wake up and smile. To sit wordlessly with your friends as they joke and bask in the happy atmosphere. But now there was a hole in your heart, the size of a black hole and it eats at you constantly. Growing bigger in size and waiting to swallow you whole.
The color of the sea draws your attention as your head tilts back down to the vast horizon. With the clouds overhead, they cast dark shadows upon the water, turning the ocean that is usually a brilliant cerulean to a deep viridian. The smell of sea salt and the ocean breeze breech your senses, shrouding you in a false sense of cover. You lay down, letting the sand curve around your limbs, digging them deeper into the recesses of the beach shore. Thunder cracks, a few seconds later lightning lights up the sky signifying the incoming storm. A harsh breeze rolls over your body, waves crash against the shoreline until they crawl back into the ocean leaving nothing but foam behind. Your eyes close, ears waiting for another calming wave break.
"There's a storm coming, you know."
Your eyelids go from a light grey to black as something, or someone, covers your form. He found you, like always. It wasn't hard for him to always know where you would be. Your eyes open, head tilting towards the tall man that towers over you. He had on light blue jeans with rips at the knees, a white long shirt with graffiti scrawled over it and a white bucket hat. He crouches down, giving you a better look at his handsome face. As he tilts his head, his brown hair highlighted with pretty blonde streaks falls into his eyes. He smiles widely, lips forming an almost heart as his cheekbones bounce up pronouncing the apples of his cheeks. There he is, the forever best friend and forever roommate coming to your rescue. He sits down on the shore, dark brown eyes with hints of mocha look up at a bolt of lightning as it ricochets through the sky. His fingers dig into the sand before looking over at you.
"Let's go home, little one." You hear the softness in his voice, it’s a gentle hush, as if he was talking to a wounded animal. He holds his hands out, one caked in small flecks of the golden sand you lay upon before giving you a gentle smile. You take his hands with the roll of your eyes before looking back to the sky. The thunderous boom in the clouds shakes your heart as you stand, before your eyes catch the bright white lightning bolt headed your way.
Your apartment is warm as you exit your room, he must have turned up the heat. The hallway is dim, pictures of you and Hoseok line the walls from when you were children. Playing in the grass, catching frogs, eating ice cream. The pictures make you stop, your back leaning against the eggshell wall as you tilt your head. Your smile is so genuine, so happy. You both stand there, small in form with ice cream cones in hand. You can still remember the cool, sticky cream running down your knuckles like a phantom memory. Your smile is wide, eyes on Hoseok’s then chubby face as he licks his ice cream cone. You pull a smile, the corners of your lips quirking up before it falters. You feel no true sense of happiness as Hoseok’s bedroom door opens to the left of the picture gallery. He steps out of his room, brown hair sodden as he hangs his towel around his neck. His hands pull at the ends before looking up at your face. He watches you silently, taking in the misery that encumbers your being before sighing and leaning against the door frame.
“Break up with him.” He whispers, you turn your head to the noise. Face falling as you clear your throat. You watch as small droplets of water languidly fall from the ends of his hair to his bare chest. His golden skin glows in the yellow hallway lighting, and you break eye contact before hearing thunder boom throughout the house. He pushes off of the door frame before wrapping his arm around your shoulders and leading you away from the pictures that once contained your happiness.
He grabs you by the arms before planting you down onto the beige couch his parents had gifted you both upon buying the apartment. He nods to himself before walking through the living room to the open kitchen and grabbing a mug. His hands work fast. Already knowing what you need before you know it. You put your ankles up on the coffee table, head tilting back to look up at the popcorn ceiling. You survey how uneven they are, every bump in the ceiling a different shape and size. There might be something symbolic about it but you can’t even begin to find the meaning as he holds the mug out in front of you. You grab it without a word, both hands cupping the white ceramic before smelling the notes of lingonberry and grapes. You hum to him, muttering a thank you before sipping on the white wine. He sits down next to you, arm wrapping around your shoulders before turning on the t.v.
This was now a daily occurrence. He would sit with you, watch you while you were in pain but never uttering a word. He once tried, tried to bring you to see reason but it ended up in a fight that broke the both of you. You didn’t talk for months after that. Avoiding each other and slamming doors noisily as if to tell the other person to fuck off. Mindlessly drifting off in your thoughts, your temple lands on his broad shoulder. You can smell his body wash, notes of vanilla and musky oak wood, a scent that is Hoseok in his entirety. He is warm like vanilla, the type of warm that coats your entire being, bathing it in comfort. He is solace, solace like an oak wood forest. He shades you from the sun, gives you cover from the rain. The eternal best friend. The ringing of your phone breaks you out of your reverie, the loud pitched ringer comes from inside your bedroom and you guzzle the alcohol before sighing.
“Gonna end up paying for another cab that he won’t get into?” You grimace at his words, eyes watching how the small amounts of alcohol slosh within the mug before finishing it off and setting it down on the table. You don’t get up from the couch, instead you stare at the television as a random cartoon plays. Watching the small characters jump off of park benches and turn into superheroes before flying off to save the day. Everyone was so brave, even cartoons and here you are. Miserable and too chicken to go answer the phone and tell him to fuck off. The phone silences before beginning to ring again and your lips press into a tight line. You close your eyes as his hand rubs comforting circles on your shoulder.
He was probably drunk, out with his friends that you couldn't stand. Probably, no, most definitely calling you to get him a cab for him to go home either to you or to his own apartment. Although, according to your best friend he was no longer allowed to step foot into your shared apartment. And, if he did, Hoseok has stated that he will ‘end his entire existence.’ Calling cabs for your boyfriend is a waste of money and most times he doesn't get into the cab because he's too drunk to pay attention.
“Stay with me. Let’s watch a movie.” Your best friend whispers, running his smooth thumb over the expanse of your arm before pulling back to look at you. His chocolate eyes are pleading, wanting to keep you away from your phone, keep you away from this person who has been in your life for two whole years already. “Please.”
The apartment goes quiet, maybe Allan had given up for the evening. Thunder booms again and you feel guilt beginning to encroach on your heart. If he was drunk, out with unsavory people in the pouring rain you should be there for him. You shake your head to Hoseok, who in turn frowns as you stand up. You can’t help the way that your feet move towards your bedroom knowingly you would be hurt in a few minutes. Because, you love- loved this person before and your heart feels as if you owe him. You feel indebted to him for so many reasons you couldn’t pinpoint a single one. “You don’t love him, Y/N.” You hear from the couch as you round the corner into the hallway. That may be true, you don’t love him anymore; but, you can’t just leave him on his own.
The bedsheets are cold as you slide underneath your comforter, goosebumps produce on your skin as you take a deep breath trying to calm your nerves. You sit up, legs folding as you rest yourself against the light grey headboard. Your phone sits on top of your black comforter, indenting the fabric and looking as if it weighs one hundred pounds. Your eyes drift across the room to the Live, Laugh, Love wooden plaque that has been stationed in the room since you moved in.
With one last kick you shove the box containing all of your favorite books into your new room. The room smells of paint, the scent wafting through your nose and making you light headed as you put your hands on your hips. Your tongue finds your bottom lip as you survey the all but empty room. Only your bed is stationed in the corner by the window, Hoseok so graciously helped put it together telling you to go get the rest of your things from the moving van downstairs. You look at the floor with a raised eyebrow. Your best friend is splayed out, breathing heavily as his bare upper body shines with hard working sweat. His hand pushes back his black hair before putting his hand over his heart. The way he moves has always been gracious, always enrapturing your sights. His closed eyes then opened, his irises were the color of mocha today with warm flecks of honey spread throughout them. Your heart warms, a wide smile graces your face as he sits up shaking his hair out of his eyes. He pats the spot on the wooden floor next to him and you graciously take it. His form turns towards you, crossing his legs as he puts his hands in your lap; you feel your cheeks heat up, a pink blush creeping onto your skin as you tilt your head at your forever best friend.
“I bought you a present that so perfectly represents you.” He tells you, his cheekbones jumping up as he reaches behind him to pull a cardboard box from underneath your bed.
His hands shake with excitement, mocha eyes never leaving yours as you giggle. This is why you love him, he does things for you that you would never even think to do for yourself. He’s a heart shaking, love bubbling person that oozes this sort of sticky, sweet love that everyone becomes entranced in. He slides the box in front of you, moving himself back before nodding to it. “Open it.”
Gripping the large box, you note its heaviness. An ‘oof’ leaving your lips as you pick it up, Hoseok’s tongue rakes across his lips. His body warbles with excitement as you delicately lift the edges of the box wanting to preserve the wrapping. You take your time, gently peeling back the layer. He stops moving, mouth opening as if he’s seen a ghost before scoffing.
“It’s a box, just rip it.” He mutters, his face falling as you scour across at him.
“I want to savor it.” Your voice comes out in a mumble as you run your thumb underneath the sealant letting the flap fly open slowly. His hand makes a fist before sliding it underneath his chin as he watches you bite your bottom lip concentrating on making sure the brown box is intact. He lets out a loud fake yawn before leaning back against your bare mattress and stretching out his legs so his feet touch your knees. You lay the box down on your lap before sliding your hand into the now open box mouth. Your fingers grip at something hard wrapped in bubble wrap before beginning to slide it out of the package. Now, you’ve got his attention. Hoseok’s body leans forward, eyes taking in your reaction as you slowly reveal the gift inside.
“Oh, my God.” He whispers before grabbing the back of the box and yanking it harshly. The bubble wrapped gift falls into your lap with a thud and you narrow your eyes at him as he begins to smile. You gently gasp, the heart shaped smile you’ve known your whole life feels so different in this apartment with just the two of you. It feels so intimate, so wholly Hoseok. Your neck heats up, your ears begin to feel hot no doubt turning pink. With a clearing of your throat you look down at the plaque of wood in your lap. The words are blurred by the clear wrapping and your heart lurches with excitement to read what is written underneath. You grip at the protective plastic before tearing it.
“That’s my girl.” You can’t help but snort at his comment, your body bows down before gripping the plastic with your teeth and yanking it open.
“So strong!” The jeer has your eyes rolling with a laugh before pulling out the wooden plank and opening your mouth. Your fingers dance over the engraved oak wood before looking up at him. He winks at you, folding his veiny arms with a smug face as you hug the plaque to your chest.
“Do you like it?” His smugness is over in a second, eyes widening with nervousness as he analyzes your face. Your nod is fervent before looking back down at the wood. ‘Live, Laugh, Love’ is burnt into the oak in scriptive writing. A shiny lacquer has been painted over top, the sheen reflecting in the sunlight that shines through the window on this summer's day.
“I love it.” His smile says it all, a million watts and perfectly straight teeth greet you before leaning forward and kissing your forehead. An action that he has done his whole life suddenly makes you still. Your arms clutch at the wood before he stands up with a groan.
“I knew you would like it. It fits you perfectly.”
Your phone’s loud ringer breaks you out of your memory and you can’t help but sigh as your head lolls back. Here we go. You grab your phone, thumb shaking before answering the call. Out of the corner of your eye, you spot him. Standing idly in the doorway, arms crossed with furrowed eyebrows and a callous expression.
“Hello?” Timid, your voice is small as you answer.
“B-Baby! What the fuck are you doing?!” Allan sounds happy today, a happy drunk Allan is better than an angry one. Your eyes flicker to your best friend as he rolls his eyes.
“Just at home. Relaxing.” There’s a hiccup and a loud burp before voracious laughter from many voices. You feel your cheeks heating up, the coolness of the back of your hand greets your cheeks as Hoseok enters your bedroom.
“Call me a ca-cab, baby. I can’t get home.” You pick at the skin of your lip before opening up the cab app on your phone. Your bed dips with the weight of your bed friend, he crawls underneath your comforter before pulling your body to his chest as the app loads.
“Where are you?” You try to make your voice sound sweet but your chest wracks with unease as if you could feel your boyfriend shrug.
“How the fuck should I know? Call me a cab.” Hoseok’s chin hooks over your head as he closes his eyes, you can feel the muscles of his jaw tensing as you clear your throat.
“You have to tell me where you are so I can call them there for you.” Your best friend’s fingers dig into your arm as he grits his teeth.
“Fuck you.” The line goes dead and you drop the phone carelessly before wrapping your arms around his slim waist. His lips find your hair, brushing them gently as he waits for the next phone call you know you’re going to get. This best friend of yours, your forever friend holds you down to the Earth, like a heavy stone tied to your ankle. He keeps you grounded when you want to just fly away. “You don’t have to take this. You don’t have to kee-”
His voice is cut off by the sharp ringer, the loud noise pierces your ears and you close your eyes for just a moment before answering the call. “I’m at Glory Pa-Park. Get me a cab.”
You open the app back up before putting in the information. “I’m going to call them.” You notify your drunk boyfriend, body sitting upright as you wait for his okay. Thumb hovering over the Order Cab button. There’s whispering, laughing, someone saying something about ‘Allan you could do better’ that has your eyes going glossy as you turn away from your best friend to lay your head on the pillow. Your body slinks down, phone just a few centimetres from your face before a tear streaks down your temple to soak your hairline.
“B-Baby! I’ll call you back!” Allan’s voice is riddled with laughter before the line goes dead. You close your eyes, lips trembling as Hoseok grunts angrily. He reaches over your body, snatching the phone from your hands. You turn your body to retrieve it and your best friend throws it behind him.
“Your phone is off.” Anxiety bubbles in your chest, raring to break free as you scramble to retrieve your phone from behind his back. His skinny but strong arms grip at your body before pinning you to the mattress. Your head gets foggy, as your senses begin to dull. “Give it to me.”
“No.” His hands find your face, smushing your cheeks to look at him. Your chest begins to shake, lungs gripping for oxygen as you gasp for breath. Your chest constricts, tightening like a belt as you grip at his arms. “Hey!”
His hands pull your face closer to his before looking into your eyes. The concern riddled throughout his chocolate eyes makes you whimper, a strangled sound echoing off of your vocal cords as he widens his eyes. “Relax. You’re with me. You’re safe.” He pulls you into his chest, his large hand rubs at your upper back with comforting circles. There’s the smell again, the vanilla notes with the accompaniment of oak that has your lungs releasing from the tight confines of your rib cage. The cotton of his shirt brings you back to reality as he moves his body on top of your phone, as if to shield it from the world.
“Lay with me. Just lay.” His lips connect to your forehead and your eyes flutter shut. You lay like this for a while. The both of you say nothing but feeling the others heartbeat as you lay together. Your heart begins to slow, back to a regular rate that clears your mind. His lips never leave your skin as his eyes close. Time seems to flow slowly in this big bed. Your grip on him lessens, your body falling into a secure type of comfort. It isn’t until Hoseok pulls away from your forehead that your heart lurches deep in the recesses of your chest. His eyes look at the wooden plaque on the wall before putting his chin on the top of your head. You could feel the beginnings of scratchy stubble on your scalp as you bury your face deeper into his chest. “Just lay with me.”
You hadn’t realized you had fallen asleep, when the bright sun woke you up. The light shines in your lavender painted room, highlighting the uneven streaks that make you feel nostalgic. You can remember when you and Hoseok painted the room on a whim months before you had met Allan. When you still giggled and laughed. Running to Home Depot at 6 o’clock in the morning, running on no sleep and alcohol intoxication to pick up paint after playing one too many games of Go Fish, and betting on your best friend's room or your room to get slathered in paint. He had picked the lavender color, equating it to the way you smell and how pretty it is. You had gotten back, put on old clothes and slapped the paint on the wall and each other in a fit of alcoholic giggles that could only be described as rhapsody. He had painted a heart on the wall, ‘Hoseok Loves You’ that he quickly covered up as you noticed. You raised an eyebrow at him then, asking him what that meant only to be met with paint splattering on your clothes and the tarp he had laid out underfoot. There was a messy paint fight, laughter ricocheting off of the walls until both of your sides hurt before sitting down on the drop cloth and leaning against each other.
You’re acutely aware of Hoseok’s sleeping body next to you. Your hand finds its way under your cheek as you turn to face him. His lips are parted, shallowly breathing as he clutches your phone to his chest. Your heart pangs, guiltiness washes over you like the tide. He was always by your side, always there for you and you’re letting him down. You’re making him take care of you and you know he always would. Because he's Hoseok. It was ingrained in his being, he was a loving, kind hearted boy that turned into a benevolent man. You grab your phone, sliding it delicately away from him in hopes to not wake him up. Successfully, you take the phone before gently lifting away from him and leaving the bedroom.
The beach was littered with people today. Children run around, screaming as the waves chase them out of shoreline. Foam licking at their small ankles as they cheer and giggle. You make your way to the small outcove that he and you had found when you first moved here. It smells of wet moss and sea spray, the dark stone that encases the place wet with humidity. Moss has begun to grow higher up the walls, almost smothering all of the stone’s color.
You look towards the horizon, cerulean blue waters ebb and flow graciously as the sun shines down upon it, the sun’s bright rays making a line coming straight for you in this damp sea cave. It fills you with wonder, something so beautiful made on it’s own. A sigh is coaxed from your lips, legs tucking underneath you as you sit down on the cool stone floor. You turn your phone on, before looking back out to the water and watching as a perfectly picturesque sailboat passes. The sail, bright blue, billows in the wind, and your hands clutch together as your phone begins to endlessly vibrate. Small shells catch your eyes as they gleam in the sunlight below the lip of the alcove. Venus combs, Hoseok once equated them to you after you began to date Allan.
“You’ve turned all spiky and dangerous like them, did you know that a mollusk once lived in it before abandoning it. That’s like you, hollow.”
You feel a tightness in your chest before looking down at your phone.
Allan - 52 Missed Calls
Allan - 48 Text Messages
You love him? You loved him. For the first year. You grew tired of his antics after a year and a half. You wanted to be done after two years. But, something kept you tethered. The insecurities to find someone else? You wasted two years of your life. Would anyone want you after all that. You suffered so many tears, crying until your throat was raw, till the capillaries under your eyes burst. You want to prove that you’re strong. That you can make it through, maybe the darkness will pass and you’ll learn to love him again. But, that seems impossible. You want to learn to laugh again. To smile widely at everything Hoseok says. You want to be able to just watch shitty movies and giggle as the characters make horrible, horrible decisions. You want to be able to hug your best friend without having guilt wrap around you like a cocoon. You want to be at peace.
Your thoughts are interrupted by a hand as it grips the inside of the sea cave. You turn your attention to it before he appears. His face is shaded by the darkness of the sea cave but you still find that he is the brightest thing in the entire place. He could rival the sun. He enters, hands digging into the pockets of his black overalls before leaning against the rock.
“I hate waking up in your bed alone.” His voice echoes throughout the small cavern and you can’t help but cringe at his words.
“I know.” He pushes himself off of the wall before sitting down next to you and looking down at the venus combs on the golden flecks of sand. With a simple point of his index finger, your throat clenches. Your eyes become glassy as you exhale a deep breath you didn’t even know you were holding. His hand finds yours, intertwining your fingers together and you didn’t even realize they were sweating. You turn your head to him, only to find that his eyes are already on you. You can’t tell if it’s the humidity in the cavern or his gaze but your chest becomes short of breath. His hand comes up in your vision, thumb outstretched to wipe a stray tear that has escaped in your daze. “You deserve the world. You deserve to be happy, you know. Pain and sadness doesn’t suit you. Remember when we used to laugh and have fun? Hmm? Remember that time that we pantsed Jimin in the parking lot of 7 Eleven and left him there with his jeans around his ankles?”
A giggle bubbles up in your throat and you nod closing your eyes. Hoseok delicately wipes at your wet lashes before kissing your temple. “How about the time when we threw toilet paper all over my sisters room because she told us we weren’t allowed to go out to the backyard.” Your laugh ricochets off the walls, head lolling back your body wracks with laughter. Hoseok chuckles to your left and you had almost forgotten what it sounded like. High pitched with a small gasp, he laughs next to you before wrapping his arm around your shoulders. “I haven’t heard you laugh in what feels like years.”
The laughter is short lived as your phone begins to ring, the sharp blare pierces the air before echoing in the cavern and Hoseok’s form shrinks in size. His shoulders fall as well as his arm off of you and you swallow thickly as he frowns. His fingers card through his brown hair before looking at the phone in your lap. He curses under his breath before looking out at the horizon. You can imagine how tiresome it is to watch over someone like a hawk. Making sure they’re always okay and never questioning them even though their actions are wrong. Your eyes glance to the side, watching how he digs underneath his perfectly clean fingernails as if it’s just something to do. You’re hurt but you’re hurting him too. That’s not fair. He’s always been there to hold you, to keep you safe and calm. He’s stopped your anxiety sevenfold and you were selfish. That’s why, your brain snaps once and for all. Your fingers grab your phone before rearing back and throwing it into the ocean.
Hoseok gargles on his own spittle before scoffing. The turn of his head is sharp as the phone makes a ‘ploop’ noise before drowning. “Wh-” You turn to him before hugging him tightly. His arms stutter in movement before hugging you back.
“What do you think you’re rich? You could have just blocked his number.” You giggle as he hooks his chin on your shoulder, his hand rubbing soothing circles on your lower back as you begin to feel a sense of relief. It washes over you in an instant, like a spring day breeze. Hoseok finds his footing before standing up and holding out his hands to you. “Come on, little one.”
Months go by, your phone has been replaced and the only calls or texts you receive are from your family or Hoseok. They way it should be. Although, there are times where you feel an immense amount of dread, wondering if you had made the right decision. Wondering if you should have waited for things to get worse just so they could get better. Your bed is a constant in the ever changing world around you. Ever changing, as in Hoseok has gotten a girlfriend. You guess when you don't have to watch over your childhood best friend every minute of the day, you could go out and experience real life. You were happy for him, happy to hear his laugh through the walls of your shared apartment. You were happy that he was happy. Probably. That’s what you want to feel. He likes her, Jillian, so even though you hide yourself away in your room whenever she comes around; you guess you like her, too.
“I’m going out, are you going to be okay here? By yourself?” You look up from your phone at the voice. There he is, forever best friend looking like a million bucks as he fixates a beanie on top of his head. You wish for him to just let out a big yawn and throw back your comforter before laying in your bed and holding you close. Laying with you until it feels as if time itself stops short for you to have a moment of comfort with your best friend. Footsteps break you out of your thoughts. His ears fold slightly at the weight and you smile at him before nodding.
“I’ll be fine.” He steps into your room before a small hand grips on to his black hoodie yanking him along with her. “Thanks, Jillian.” Your voice is a mere murmur as the door to the apartment slams shut.
“You shouldn’t do shit like that. I’ve already told you that Y/N is sad.” Hoseok berates his girlfriend before yanking his arm out of her grasp and fixing his clothing. There’s an eye roll that has him stopping in the middle of the street before folding his arms.
“She always is sad. It’s who she is. Doesn’t mean you have to always deal with it.” Hoseok gives a short laugh, his head tilting back before his hand agiley catches his beanie as it falls off.
“I don’t always have to deal with it. But, I want to. She means the most to me in this world. You fucking know that.” He seethes to his girlfriend before stepping out of the way for a couple to walk past. “How do you think that makes me feel?! That ‘she means the most to you.’ I’m supposed to just be okay with that?!”
Hoseok presses his lips together before putting his hands over his face and grunting gently. He takes a deep breath, forcing air into his constricting lungs before sighing. “Let’s go.”
The bar is noisy and crowded, the smell of stale beer wafts through the air as Hoseok wrinkles his nose. If you were here, you would complain that he doesn’t really like to drink all that much and you should find a different place to go. But, that’s exactly it, isn’t it? You weren’t here, he was with his girlfriend and he still thinks of you. Even as he slides into the booth, even though her hand is intertwined with his. It isn’t your small hand that he finds beside him. It’s hers. Her voice breaks him out of his reverie, he inhales deeply through his nose before smirking at her. His eyes rake over her hair, her eyes even the way her mouth moves as she phrases words and it seems to be off putting. The corners of his mouth turn down as she orders her drink, watching the way she points at the menu, he didn’t even see her pick up. It’s stupid little things that draw his attention, you wouldn’t point your finger and the menu like that. You would tilt your head and puff out your cheeks unsurely. You would side eye him and nudge him to make a decision for you since there were too many options to choose from. You would never wink at someone before handing them a menu, there was not an overly flirtatious bone in your body. You were just you. And Hoseok misses that the most.
His night goes on for a long time, it seems like it would never end. He misses slipping under your black duvet cover and holding you to comfort you. He misses when you would have to stretch your neck to look up at him because he would always jump up and out of the way for you to crane to look up at him. Somehow along the night Jimin had joined in, the streets have basically emptied as the town hall clock strikes letting him know another hour has gone by and he still isn’t home. “What’s with the face?” He hears Jimin ask as he stops on the street corner, his wrist is held tightly before being forced around his girlfriend's waist.
“What face?” He grimaces at the action before looking back up at his longtime friend. “You look miserable.” It’s a faint whisper that gets caught in the wind and Hoseok can’t help but swallow before looking back at the Walk sign. He shrugs to Jimin, who in turn rolls his eyes before all three cross the street.
Conversations are short and sweet as they walk Hoseok’s girlfriend back to her apartment. There’s a tension, a man-made tension that he knows he’s created but he can’t seem to find a care in the world for it. He doesn’t care, in all honesty. He just wants to go home.
“Hey! Isn’t that Y/N’s little friend?” The voice is a mere distant memory that comes back sharp in the frontal lobe of his mind as he pulls away from Jillian to turn his body. His jaw tightens, muscles flexing and protruding as he narrows his eyes at the incoming figure. “Hyung.”
It was a call of warning that Hoseok doesn’t heed. Anger burns through his veins like venom as he finally sets his sight on the man that ruined two years of your life. He wasted them, without even thinking about you. And, Hoseok let him. He sprints towards him, tennis shoes squeaking as he advances. Jimin calls out for Hoseok but it’s a warning he ignores.
“Hyung!”
His hand makes a fist as he closes the distance, his feet ache at the sudden movement before stopping and throwing his fist into Allan’s face. The man staggers, hand reaching up to nose as Hoseok shakes out his hand with gritted teeth. He knows it’ll hurt in the morning but the red he sees triumphs over everything.
“What the fuck, dude?! Over some chick?!” He tilts his head, watching blood begin to leak from the man’s nose.
“Some...chick?” He snaps. His hands reach out to grab Allan’s neck before arms wrap around his waist, tugging him away from the man. “She isn’t some chick! She’s a fucking angel and you ruined her life for two fucking years, you ignorant bastard! You never deserved her! She fucking cried every day because of you. You fucking asshole!” His words echo throughout the empty street as Jimin drags him down the sidewalk. The bottom of his shoes scuff up as Jimin pulls him past his girlfriend without a word.
“Some fucking chick. I’ll fucking kill him.” Hoseok mutters to himself before flailing his arms and straightening up his body. He shoves Jimin off of him before dusting off his hoodie and spitting on the floor in the direction he came from. Jimin places a solemn hand on his back before looking at Lillian, drawing his attention to her as she folds her arms with a raised eyebrow. He takes her into his sights before pressing his lips together and clearing his throat. The words fly out of his mouth so fast he has no chance to take them back.
“Let’s break up.” Her face contorts as if she’s been shot. Her mouth hangs open as a breeze wafts through the empty street. On the breeze is the smell of lavender, the smell of comfort for him and he can’t seem to find it in him to feel solemn about the words he has just spoken. He becomes entranced by the smell, eyes closing as he takes a deep breath. There’s that relief he wants to feel. It radiates through him like the sun on a cloudless day. And, before he can open his eyes a flash of pain erupts from his cheek. His eyes open wide, his hand reaches up to touch his hot licked skin as Lillian steps back.
“You’re an idiot. Jung Hoseok.” He swallows thickly before rubbing at his sweltering cheek. Jimin steps in front of his body, blocking him as Lillian tries to advance once more. A hand finds his chest before shoving him back, “We’ll get going.”
The screech that finds his ears almost deafens him, but he can’t feel sorrow. He knows he did the right thing. “Everyone is getting battered today.” Jimin murmurs before fixing his leather jacket and putting his hand on Hoseok’s back as he holds his cheek.
The apartment is warm when he gets home, you raised the heat for him knowing how chilly it can get during the night around here. Your bedroom door opens with a squeak and you rouse at the sound. He stands in your doorway, shoulders drooping before taking off his hoodie. “Seok?” He hums in agreement before padding over the wooden floor and lifting up the comforter. His thin frame slides underneath before wrapping his arm around your waste. You blink blearily, eyes trying to adjust to see him in the dark. His brown hair falls into his eyes as he looks down at you. He grips you tighter, holding you so close as if you were going to turn to dust and disappear. Your eyes adjust, widening slightly when you see his pink, puffed cheek. “What happened to you?!”
He chuckles quietly as you place your hand on his skin. His eyes flutter shut as you rub your thumb over his pronounced cheekbone. “I broke up with Lillian and she slapped me.” You take a sharp breath through your teeth, eyes widening at his admission. You open your mouth to reply but he pulls you into his chest with force that knocks the wind out of you. “I went out tonight and I couldn’t stop thinking of you. Thinking about what you were doing and what you would have been doing if you were out with me. I kept thinking of how much I missed laying in bed with you and how much I love holding you.”
“I missed you laying with me too.” Your confession is quiet but he hears it loud and clear, a heart smile spreading across his face before kissing the top of your head. Hoseok’s eyes search your own alight with something that makes your heartbeat faster.“This is what it should always be. I don’t want to spend my days falling asleep without you. I don’t want to constantly think about you as if you’re far away. I want you here, in my arms like always. I want to get drunk and go get paint at 6 o’clock in the morning. To wake up with you in bed laying next to me. I want-I want you to love me. Like, I love you.”
You pull away from his chest, eyes glancing up through thick lashes at his handsome face. This is what it always should be. You and him. Until time stops and falls flat. His eyes glance at your lips before licking at his. One smooth motion that has your neck heating up with a blush. “I’m going to kiss you, and I would really like it if you didn’t pull away.” Your breathing stops, your lungs feel aflame as he closes the distance between you.
His lips press to yours, soft and agile and time does feel as if it stops. His kiss is heartfelt and full of yearning before it turns into something more. Something needy and explosive. His tongue slips out, licking at the seam of your lips. His hands run over the expanse of your back, running his tongue over yours. A soft mewl is coaxed from your lips, only to be swallowed by him as he rolls you onto your back. His hands find purchase next to your shoulders as he straddles you. He breaks the kiss, only for a moment to utter words that leave your head nebulous, “I love you, Y/N.”
“I love you too.” His lips are back to yours, earth shattering and heart fluttering as his hands dip beneath the cotton fabric of your sleeping shirt. With warm hands he rubs at the skin of your stomach, your body arches into his touch begging for more as your core begins to unfurl in wanting. His lips leave yours to worship at the skin of your neck, hands raising your shirt higher before looking up at you for confirmation. You wordlessly lift your arms, back bowing off of the bed to let him strip you of the material. The shirt is discarded aimlessly as he sits up to drink you in. It dawns on him, how utterly helpless you are under his stare and you wilt slightly bringing your arms to cover your chest. Hoseok clicks his teeth before leaning back down. “You’re gorgeous.”
The wanton sound of his voice gives you solace as he peppers your neck with kisses. Light as a feather before suckling at your soft skin leaving red and pink petals in his wake. You let your arms go lax, hands coming up to run through the thick locks of his brown hair. “That’s my girl.” It’s with that sentence that it all comes crashing down on you, he loves you and in turn you love him. It’s always been this way, always finding comfort in one another and never dwelling on it long enough for you both to realize just how perfect the two of you are for one another. Your chest swells with ardent tenderness as you grip at his hair. His lips trail lower, angling his body downward to be able to taste all of you. He cups your breasts, thumbs running delicately over your nipples as they harden into stiff peaks. Your core shudders, arousal begins to weep from your sex and you’re acutely aware of how your panties dampen.
His lips shroud your nipple in the wet warmth, gently suckling as his fingers roll and pluck at your other unattended breast. Your soft moans, echo throughout the lavender painted room and earn groans from the man you’ve deemed your best friend for most of your life. His teeth softly rake against the sensitive skin, goosebumps prickling as your mouth drops open. He presses his body half flush against your thigh and you can feel how hard he is through his jeans. Your eyes open, to watch him love on you and you are met with his gaze hot and molten staring back at you. His pupils are blown, making his usual chocolate eyes almost black with lust. With each suckle, his fingers pinch harder until your writhing underneath him. Hips lifting off the bed, begging for relief. He leaves your nipple to attend to the other- but not before suckling at the skin around your areola leaving small marks claiming you as his own.
His lips pluck teasingly at your other nipple before dipping his hand down your stomach, his hand splays rubbing at the band of your underwear with his thumb. Your moans are growing louder, chest beginning to feel breathless as he pulls away from your breasts with a loud suction noise. It’s then that he leans up to plant a kiss against your lips, so soft as if it were the wings of a hummingbird. “You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.” He does it again, sucking your life force from your lungs as he kisses down. Past the valley of your breasts, past your belly button that he gives a gentle nip to. He suckles at the skin about your panties, fingers hooking in the sides before looking up at you.
“We can stop, right now. We can stop and I can go back to my room.” You answer him by lifting your hips, with the bite of his bottom lip he is gently peeling off your underwear. Eyes alight with wonder as he looks towards your gleaming sex. You can feel how wet you are, how you’re dripping and it’s all for him. He licks his lips, eyes flickering back to yours before throwing your underwear to the side. His hands find your thighs, taking the time to knead and kiss them before spreading your legs for him. “Look at you, baby. Dripping.” His voice is deeper, the bass in his voice encased with lust as he runs a finger down your soaked folds. The pet name has you biting your bottom lip, the corners of your mouth turning up on their own. With a gasp, you watch as he spreads your lips open. Eyes lewdly staring at you, taking you all in. “Fuck. Your pussy is nice.” A giggle escapes your lips, hand covering your eyes as he chuckles up at you.
Your giggle dies in your throat as he sucks at your lower lips. Your hands grip tighter at his hair, pulling at the roots as your hips bow off the bed. “Taste so sweet.” His eyes are filled with this veneration that sends your walls fluttering, rippling around nothing. His tongue licks at your clit, experimentally waiting to see your reaction. When your hips buck up, begging for more, he begins to lap harder against your swollen bud. You moan his name, his mouth stills before pulling away. A smile spreads on his face before giving a flat lick that has your body sagging into the bed. “That sounds so perfect coming for you, little one.”
Your head swims with heady pleasure, Hoseok himself seems drunk off of your taste. His eyes roll back as he prods at your entrance with his tongue. The muscle stiffens before entering you, your thighs twitch opening wider for him as you whimper out his name. His hands steady your thighs, soothing rubs of his thumbs keep you grounded as he whorls his tongue around inside you. He finds your sweet spots, where you moan louder for him, where you grip his hair tighter. “Fuck, you taste amazing, baby.” His voice is a mumble before his mouth is encasing your clit once more. His tongue prods at the nub, licking and caressing until your moans have turned to sobs. His fingers leave the flesh of your thighs to tease your sodden entrance. "So wet for me, baby. You want me inside?"
"P-Please!" You croak out, hands pressing into his scalp as your core begins to tighten. You wanted to feel it, feel that shot of pleasure coarse through you. Your hips begin a lazy grind, rubbing against him for relief as he slips a finger inside. Your mouth opens, tongue licking at your bottom lip and he curls his finger expertly inside of you. He does it once, twice before finding the golden spot. "Right there? You like that, baby? Going to cum all over me?" You nod fervently, your bottom lip tucking between your teeth as your hips begin to buck relently on his outstretched tongue. The tightness feels stifling, your toes curl. Ears ringing with white noise as your heart lurches to feel relief. He adds a second finger, before rapidly tapping the smooth spot within you.
"Gonna...Gonna cum, Seok." He groans in agreement, lips latching back on to give harsh sucks.
"Cum for me, baby. Show me what a good girl you can be." The tip of his tongue swirls around your clit and the tightness explodes. Like a million stars that light the galaxy, your body feels as light as air, falling boneless onto the mattress underneath as you ride out your high. Hoseok watches you come undone, his mouth detaching from you to kiss at your thighs as the shake from the pleasure. "God, you're fucking pretty when you cum."
Your blink slowly, your chest begins to breathe normally as he crawls over you. His fingers ghost over your bottom lip, before pressing his own flush against them. Your hands raise up to touch him, fingers dancing over his clothed body before beginning to frown. He had way too many clothes on for your liking. You tug at the bottom of his shirt, his lips forming a smile before giving you a quick kiss. His arms cross, fingers curling around the hem of his shirt before lifting them to reveal his upper body. This is a sight you've seen a million times over and yet, you press your thighs together as want begins to bloom within your chest. Your fingers graze his stomach, small abs defined under his skin. Even in the darkness, his skin still sings out the color of honeyed caramel. The smell of musky oakwood draws you in as his lips find yours once more. His fingers move deftly, unbuttoning and unzipping his pants before biting gently on your bottom lip before sucking it into his mouth as he pulls away.
He rids himself of his pants before your eyes fall to his briefs. The tented fabric makes your eyes snap up to his as he trails his hands along your sides. It was an impressive sight to see, you palm your hand over his clothed erection. His eyes closing as he sucks in a short breath, tongue licking at his bottom lip. The grey fabric begins to darken with his precum leaving a quarter sized spot that has your walls throbbing, begging for more pleasure. You sit up, hair falling in rivets over your shoulders before pulling at the waistband and sliding them down. His cock springs out with a heavy slap to his abdomen. You can do nothing but marvel at his size. He’s large, two toned in length with rose colored veins that trail the long length. His thickness makes your mouth water, a slight curve is evident as you wrap your hand around him. He hisses out, head tilting forward as his brown hair falls into his eyes. The protuberant tip is blushed pink as precum begins to bead from his slit. You pump his cock in hand, feeling the heaviness of him and your arousal begins to drip once more as you hear him moan for you.
His cock is smooth and you find yourself sitting all the way forward before kissing down his length. “Oh, fuck.” You tongue peaks out to caress the warm thin skin and his hands card through your hair with ease. His body falters before falling back, his muscular thighs shake in what you know is wanting. You move with him, straddling his thighs as you lean down. His cock is beautiful and yours, which is an interesting thought that you can’t seem to dwell on for more than a second as he twitches within your palm. Kissing along his shaft, licking at the one prominent blushed vein has him moaning your name loudly.
You lick at his weeping slit, gathering the precum he is beginning to produce mercilessly and he sighs gently in relief. The taste is musky and thick on your tongue and you can only equate it to him. It’s so perfectly him that you find yourself needing to taste more. Arousal drips down your thighs as you begin to suckle at the head. Tongue licking circles around it before dipping your mouth down his length. “Oh, baby. Fuck.” His grip tightens on your hair, you take in all that could fit in your mouth before stroking whatever is left of his long length. You lave at the smooth length, moaning as he tugs gently on your gripped hair. “Look at me, please.” Your eyes snap to his, watching how sweat begins to bead on his sideburns. The tips of his brown bangs are slick against his forehead as he opens his mouth enraptured as you bob your head on his cock. Your cheeks hollow, trying to take more of him. You gag on his cock, a sound that makes him whimper as your eyes become blurry with tears.
“Y/N.” The word is spoken with reverence as his bottom lip is tucked between his teeth. He reaches forward sitting up on one hand that perches itself behind his back. His fingers shakily run up your thighs before meeting your apex. You moan on his cock, the vibrations making his eyes roll back as another spurt of precum coats your tongue. His fingers circle your soaked clit gently before pushing farther back to your entrance. You whimper against him, head bobbing faster as he swallows a groan. Your entrance welcomes his two fingers, coating him easily in your cum and arousal and he growls gently at the feeling. He goes knuckle deep before flicking at your sweet spot, the action making your thighs feel like jello as you grip at the sheets on either side of his body. His fingers begin to scissor inside you, stretching you for what is to come. “Gotta prep you baby, your little pussy is so tight. Fuck.” Your knuckles turn white as you pump his cock with every dip. You feel him begin to throb, his head lolls back mouth opening widely as he still continues to stretch you.
“Shit! You’re so good at that.” You feel high off of his praise, you try to take him deeper swallowing a few times until he is lifting you off of his cock as his throbbing becomes erratic.
“Wanna cum in your sweet pussy.” He pulls his fingers from you before entering them into his mouth and moaning at your taste. He sucks them clean, before pulling them out with a gentle pop. His hands splayed across your back before laying you down. His nose brushes yours, a romantic gesture that has your heart fluttering. His eyes search yours as he knocks your legs open before settling inside them. He grips the base of his cock, running his head over your damp folds before smiling down at you.
“I love you.” The ardour in those words makes the corners of your lips quirk up into a smile as he returns it. “I love you, too Seok.” He kisses you, languidly licking at the seam of your lips before prodding at your entrance. Your mouth opens as he begins to stretch you, your hands wrapping around his neck and tucking into the base of his hairline. His hands grab at your thighs, kneading them before wrapping them around his slim hips. His tongue probes against yours moaning quietly into your mouth as he begins to fill you slowly. He inches in easily, your arousal coating his thick cock as he stretches you. It’s a delicious cocktail of pleasure mixed with the slight twinge of pain from the stretch. “You’re so tight, baby.” He whispers breathlessly, his breath tickles your cheeks before kissing down your jaw to your neck. Your walls ripple around him, feeling him fill every part of your needy cunt. His cock reaches the furthest point, burying himself to the hilt before stilling and letting your pussy relax around him.
“Feel so fucking good, baby. So perfect like you were made for me, because you were.” Your thighs tighten around him as the pain is solely replaced with pleasure. You wiggle your hips, pleading for him to move, to let you lose yourself completely into the man that was just your best friend a mere hour ago. He pulls out slowly, the bulbous head of his cock dragging delicious against your walls as plucks at your skin with his lips. He thrusts back in gently, your mouths opening in tandem. “Fuck.” The curse leaves your lips at the same time and you both can’t help but giggle with each other before moaning as he thrusts back in harder. Your fingers tug at his hair, thighs tightening as you lift your hips for more.
Hoseok lifts up to grab your hands before intertwining them and lifting them over your head as he continues at his slow pace. “I’ve loved you since I was ten. I’ve loved you since I knew what the word love meant. It’s always been you, Y/N. Always.” Your grip on his hands tighten and you smile up at him.
“I love you, too. Probably for a lot longer than I think.” His smile at your admission makes your heart swell, your heartbeat quickens for him. He pours his emotion into his thrusts then, hips snapping and rolling as you moan each other's names in the dark room. His lips suckle at your areolas, tongue flicking in tandem with every thrust to your stiff nipples. His grasp on your hands tighten and the moan he elicits is so pure, so raw. Full of beaming energy that has your nerve endings firing rapidly with indescribable pleasure.
“Seok.” His cock twitches as you call his name, hearing the lust filled rapture of your voice. His hips grind harder into you, stuttering slightly as his body shivers with pleasure. His lips continue to suckle at your heated skin, bucking quicker into you as you raise your hips higher. The newfound angle has you screeching with pleasure, throat going dry with need as you begin to lose all sense of words. You’re a stuttering mess underneath him, fingernails digging into his skin as he moans over your skin. With every thrust, his bulbous head meets the rough patch within you, coaxing you towards your next high. He mutters out, over your breast how much he loves you, how beautiful you are underneath him like this. Your thighs begin to shake, head lolling back as you reach the precipice. Your walls flutter for him, gripping him for your release.
“Yes, fuck. I can feel it,” He gasps loudly, “Cum with me, baby. I’m close to cumming for you.” Your whine is needy and your mind sears with pleasure as his cock begins to throb harshly within you. It’s all you need before you’re warning him once more you’re about to cum. “Cum on my cock. Fuck, I love you. Baby!”
Your breathing slows down for a single second before speeding up twice as fast as you careen off the edge of pleasure. Your nails dig into his skin painfully, eyes rolling back as you orgasm with him. His hot seed spills inside of you, giving deep, harsh thrusts as he curses. It sets off a second wave of pleasure, toe curling and stomach flipping as your eyes become spotty. He breathes heavily against the skin of your chest, hot breath fanning over your feverishly sweaty skin. He groans gently before flopping down on top of you and wrapping his arms around you. You giggle gently, one hand resting over your heart and the other pushing his sweat soaked bangs off of his forehead. He kisses your cheek tiredly, before closing his eyes. “Do it again.” You angle your head to look down at him before smirking.
“Do what again?” He lifts his head, chin resting on your breast before showing you his megawatt smile. “Laugh for me. I love that sound.” You snort before kissing his forehead. “Do that again, too.” With a giggle and the roll of your eyes you kiss his forehead. He sighs happily before lifting up on shaky arms and slowly pulling out of you. He wiggles his eyebrows as your pussy weeps with his cum. Frothing your lips and the sheets white. “Now that, that is hot.” You laugh at his comment before swallowing thickly as he licks his lips. Time that seems to have stopped begins to flow again in your eyes. “Let’s get you a bath, baby.”
The sun wakes you up once again this morning, but everything is already different. You can feel Hoseok’s lips against your hair as he runs his thumb over the skin on the back of your neck. You tighten your arm around his waist before burying your face into his smooth chest. “Good morning to you too, baby.” You kiss his tanned skin, eyes closing as you relish in the heat of his body. “Morning, Seok.” He hums to you before giving three quick kisses to the top of your head and pulling back. “Lips, please.”
He puckers his lips, squeezing his eyes shut and you can’t help but giggle before sitting up and pressing your lips to his. He exhales gently through his nose before kissing you deeper, hands curving around your head before pecking at your lips once and then twice more. “Have you been up for a while?” You question as you lay back down on him. He nods, “Just been thinkin’.”
Your eyebrows quirk up at his statement, “About what?” He points at the plaque on the wall and your head turns to look at the wooden slab. “Thinking about how amazingly perfect you are and how I can make you happy for the rest of my life.” His cheekbones bounce up as he smiles before hugging you tightly to him. “I can make you ‘Live’ a great life, with me, of course. I can make you ‘Laugh’ for the rest of your life because I love that sound and it’s what you deserve. And, I can ‘Love’ you forever and ever AND ever.” You lean up, kissing his cheek as warmth spreads through your body rooting you to the ground. He was your forever weight to the Earth and forever is the only term that matters.
The sun begins to invade the room, its rays highlighting the uneven strokes of paint on the wall and you smile fondly. His eyes follow yours before squeezing you tightly to him. “Hoseok loves you.” The memory that was burned so brightly into your brain now has a new heart shattering meaning. “And, Y/N loves you.”
